SPEAKER_00And I'm Zumanaki.
SPEAKER_01And we are here for a chaotic stream podcast hybrid. Might might run some delves, might, you know, actually talk about things. Feeling cute. Might delete later. But we've been on a slight hiatus due to like, you know, life events getting in the way. And then tried to film episode 11 last week. It was a massive failure because the sound cut out. We uh couldn't figure out what we did. But we've tested it now and hopefully it's good. So here with you today, hopefully talking about some things, playing some wow. Yeah. Hopefully, not massive failures like last time. It appears that we do have our microphone sound, which might be too loud, which is why I shouldn't be typing in all caps all the time. If you know, you know. But we recently finished the eighth book of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, which was also very chaotic. Let me let me just say I we finished the first of several listenings required to like really figure out what's going on. Still great, still great story, hilarious, entertaining, all those things, but definitely missed some things. Definitely gonna need to go back. But at least we we went through our listen together. So I I can't be accused of like you know, watching episodes without my spouse have agreed to view content with.
SPEAKER_00I feel like I was the one that got in trouble with Carl.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, because that's what happened. You still got ahead of me, but that's because I'd fall asleep and you wouldn't notice until like an hour or two later. But we I have donned my dungeon crawler Carl cosplay finery today in honor of the of finishing the book, and it's also on Kindle Unlimited, so I usually am pretty good with audiobooks of picking up what's going on, and I definitely prefer the Carl books in you know, audiobook form because Jeff Hayes just does an incredible job with all the voices and the narration. But this book might require an actual print read. I was like, oh man, am I gonna have to download the ebook? Because I didn't think a brand new release would just be available on Kindle Unlimited, but it is. So if you haven't purchased the audiobook yet and you do have Kindle Unlimited, if you have maybe I shouldn't say this secret out loud. SPEAKER_02What delve are we going to?
SPEAKER_03The scent of the hairing. Uh Gulf of Memory. Okay.
SPEAKER_01So we've been just in the last week, this cute little webcomic about a mom and her like small child who is actually a monster who talks in a deep, gravelly voice, and you know, really elevated vocabulary to just talk about mundane parenting things. So, like, very much right up our alley with humor. I love parent humor. I love, you know, elevated vocabulary humor. And but Zumo was was doing the voice, and I was like, so actually, that is also a common voice done for romantic love interests on romanticy audiobooks. Because you said, you know, what if I talk on the podcast like this? And I'm like, well, then you'll get all the book girlies excited.
SPEAKER_00And I thought that was weird because I kept saying, mother.
SPEAKER_03Mommy is a thing. Daddy is a thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but he's literally a little monster child.
SPEAKER_01I know.
SPEAKER_00It's not okay.
SPEAKER_01I'm I don't make the rules. That's just that's the main male character voice for the romantic books. I guess not even strictly the romanticy, but just romance. Because there's a couple like contemporary romance books that have the deep gravelly voice as well. And that is why I've actually gotten away from romance audiobooks because sometimes they are just too distracting. Like, not good car driving fodder. I'd much rather like I can keep a straight face when I'm reading it, but when it's like gravelly in my ear, I cannot keep a countenance. I think maybe that's why some people really like those, but I'm looking for a more chill vibe with the audiobooks. So last week we talked a lot about like what's going on in the game and what we've been doing in the game, and you could hear none of it. Absolutely none of it. So I mean, basically, it feels like the end of the season, but it's not. You know, people are finishing up.
SPEAKER_00I did it, let you in. I was worried it was going to display a message of like, this delve is already in progress. You can't join.
SPEAKER_03I do what I want. And that we would need to restart it. But that's neat. So you just did it anyway.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, what uh like who cares if I had to restart it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you gotta you gotta do the visuals for the for anybody. Is anybody watching? Probably not. Like I said, this is gonna be a more chaotic. If this gets posted as a podcast, it's gonna be our least formal, most chaotic podcast that we've ever done. And I think I will entitle it episode question mark. Because I I already started posting things with episode 11. So I don't think I can count it as episode 11. We'll just call it episode question mark, and then you know, skip to 12 next week.
SPEAKER_03Maybe I'll do it by myself next week if you're gone.

SPEAKER_01So even though Zumo keeps assuring me we are far from the end of the season, oh seven isn't even out yet. It it feels like the end of the season.
SPEAKER_00And they're adding like those two other complete like mini zones with optional heroic world mode.
SPEAKER_01So I'm um yeah, my main is completely decked out with the mythic appearance. Six out of six heroic gear. And then I actually have an alt for the first time ever that can benefit from that discount on the remaining upgrades. So now my evoker is pretty close to done. I need one more piece of gear for my why is my pet insta-dying?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Because it keeps taunting off of me.
SPEAKER_03Well, maybe you should turn off taunt. Maybe.
SPEAKER_01Let's see what I feel like.
SPEAKER_03I'm just trying to answer your question.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so my evoker is almost all the way geared up. Gotta upgrade the trinkets a couple more times, and then my pants are just champion. So I'm I'm desperately looking for a pair of pants. Pair of hero pants. I'd love to put my big girl pants on, but they haven't dropped yet from anything. And I was all I was worried that I was behind on my mana fluxes. So I was like, I've never gotten an extra one to drop, and I feel like I missed a week or something, which you assured me. Talk me down. Go ahead and talk me down like you talked me down earlier. I'm like, oh no, I don't have enough mana fluxes, and I'm not gonna be able to catalyze all of my gear. And what did you tell me?
SPEAKER_00I just said that you should be at six, because that's what my brand new alts are at, and then the season's gonna go on for at least another six weeks. So you'll just get them all. You'll just even if you don't do any content, you'll just get all nine of your mana fluxes. Don't worry about it.
SPEAKER_01And yet somehow I was worried about it. I don't know. I felt like I needed to hurry up and finish the things, but I I really don't. I still have plenty of time.
SPEAKER_00You do, you still have all the time in the world. I've got my mythic tier transmog on, I think, five characters. And then I've got two or three that are just waiting. Like they've got heroic six out of six on all their gear slots. They're just waiting for one or two extra mana flux things. I was like, well, I can keep doing delves and like try to farm those out, or I can just do something else and I'll sit around for another week or three, and I'll just have them when I log in.
SPEAKER_01I'm still checking to make sure everything is working just because I'm paranoid now.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's not like we've tried to do two streams and both of them have gotten canned because the audio was completely unusable. Not sure what you're worried about.
SPEAKER_01Two streams.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we did well, we did one podcast and we did one stream.
SPEAKER_01We did a Dell stream that just Oh yeah, you couldn't hear us over the game sounds. I'm not even picking up any game sounds from you right now.
SPEAKER_00That's because I'm not sending you game audio.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you're just like, I'm not messing this up again.
SPEAKER_00No, I just forgot that I had to do that.
SPEAKER_01Oh. I mean, we're we're pretty constantly talking now. We don't need game audio, right? Especially not if it's a podcast, maybe.
SPEAKER_00I'm sending you game audio now.
SPEAKER_01No, don't do it. I'm gonna turn you off.
SPEAKER_00You can't.
SPEAKER_03I I find you too attractive.
SPEAKER_01Hey now. Okay. I muted you over here, so it doesn't matter what you do. I muted your game audio, not your personal microphone. I couldn't prevent you from talking if I wanted to.
SPEAKER_04Pretty sure you can't.
SPEAKER_01I well no, because my mic would pick you up a little bit.
SPEAKER_03Just angle it away from me. Maybe. So yeah, lots going on.
SPEAKER_01Had a pretty busy month. There was a content creator that was talking about May Sumber, where it's like all the busyness of December, but without an actual major holiday to look forward to. And I we we felt that pretty strongly in the family. So we still got like end of school activities going on, but we were already embroiled in like register for next year kind of stuff. And a month got away from us. Not that the summer is not going to be busy, but I don't know. It just feels like there was so much more organizing that needed to be done. Or like organizing and planning in advance for all the summer adventures, which I think I've pretty much covered now.
SPEAKER_03But I I think there was a week in there where I didn't play wow at all.
SPEAKER_01I must have done though, because I'm caught up on my stuff. I just didn't play very much. But yeah, first time, I think, in any expansion, I've had a max level alt in in the first season. And I might have a second alt max level before the end of the season. My Demon Hunter I quite enjoy. However, I d uh I really don't feel like I'm gonna get a mythic set on that at this point. Do you feel like it's too late in the season?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_01No, you still don't? I don't know. I just always feel like I'm behind.
SPEAKER_00Um, I said what? We're gonna have at least six more weeks, right? And then you can pretty easily get a hundred hero crests every week just by doing about four delves. So that means that you'd get your nine pieces maxed in five weeks. And you'll just get your nine catalyst charges as soon as you log in. So if you started like next week, even I'm confident you would have enough time.
SPEAKER_01So here's the thing like for my evoker, I did not really enjoy the mythic appearance of the tier set.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but then it's still.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. So that's I'm getting to that point. So I was like, well, okay, but like I have plenty of time, so I'll just go for the mythic appearance, and if I fall behind, I'll just like make do with the champion appearance or the hero appearance, because the heroic appearance is the one I really want. Like, I like the heroic appearance, I do not really like the mythic appearance, but if I got it, it wouldn't like be sad. So then I got so behind on my mana fluxes that I accidentally completely upgraded one of my heroic pieces before I catalyzed it. So then when I catalyzed it, it was the mythic appearance and not the champion or the heroic appearance, which now creates a conundrum because I either need to go back and upgrade a new piece of heroic gear, or I just need to get my entire mythic appearance, which now with only one piece left. But at the time I was like, oh, I messed up. So I'm concerned that so for the demon hunter, I like the champion appearance, not the heroic appearance, and then I kind of like the mythic appearance. So I'm like, do I just go for the champion appearance completely to make sure I get it before I start trying for the mythic appearance? Because I don't want to be in that situation where I like mess up and I have to get like the full heroic appearance or something just to get the champion appearance that I want. What do you think I should do, Zumo?
SPEAKER_00I think you just focus on the mythic if you're that if you actually end up in a situation where you're not gonna get it, they're adding the ability to just straight up buy pieces of champion gear. I mean, they already have with um that currency that you don't want to spend any of Marl. But in 12.0.7, they're adding the ability to buy champion gear with field metals.
SPEAKER_01Field accolades?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, whatever they're called.
SPEAKER_01Because right now you can buy like random pieces of it. A random heroic piece.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they're adding the ability to buy just buy pieces.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's good.
SPEAKER_00Like it won't be random.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's alright then.
SPEAKER_00So I just go for the mythic, and then if you're not gonna get it, you can just buy it. I think you're worrying about nothing. I still have two classes that aren't at max level. My monk's at 89, and my rogue is still 80. I'm expecting that I'll get a full mythic set on them.
SPEAKER_01I admire the confidence. Not in a sarcastic way. Like, I wish I had confidence. I just don't. But what else has been going on since you know the last patch came out, and we never really got a chance to talk about it? I think we did talk a little bit about the new patch when it first came out, but it was still very glitchy. Lots of bugs. So, how how have you felt that this patch has been going in the last few weeks?
SPEAKER_00The only glitch or bug that I'm still running into is that visual glitch that that you're having as well sometimes. It usually happens to me when I try to open up my collections tab to look at my collected appearances. And then like the whole game just freezes and it reloads, and my character is invisible and buildings are missing from Storm from Stormwind. That's the wrong city. From Silver Moon.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it happens to me all the time. Like, I'll be about to take off on my Evoker, just you know, fly in the sky, soaring, and it it does that, and I'm like, oh no, I just took off from the ground. Where am I gonna land? Usually it's in silver moon, so it's you know, at least I'm not gonna land on anything too fatal.
SPEAKER_03But um Yeah, so that's the thing.
SPEAKER_01I really, really enjoyed the glitch that happened earlier today when we were running Dells. Our alts, so Zumo gets into the delve with me, and I'm like, Hey, why are you mounted? Like, we were inside, he should not have been mounted, and it was on his B, which is totally random because you just have like favorites set in most of your mount collection as your favorites. So he's just and then it didn't go away for the entire doll. So he's running around attacking things like in combat and it just on his B. And at some points, because he was doing like casting animations and things like that, or you know, weapons animations, he kind of looked like a bee centaur. With a blood elf, upper torso, and then just like an insectoid thorax and all that good jazz. Was pretty hilarious. And of course, I had to commemorate the moment with as many bee-related puns as I could, such as you're doing a great job, honey. Where did you just buzz off to?
SPEAKER_03You know, just to keep it keep it exciting in our marriage. That was one delve.
SPEAKER_01I don't really need to be doing delves on sin, but I just am to hang out with you.
SPEAKER_04Love you.
SPEAKER_01Love you too. But you said some there are some things you like better about this patch, such as I think you're really enjoying healing in the delves.
SPEAKER_00I am healing has become my favorite thing to do.
SPEAKER_01Really?
SPEAKER_00I love playing all my healers.
SPEAKER_01And you were telling me that you're enjoying the new tank mechanics.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I wouldn't say they're exactly new, but over the last few seasons, maybe a couple of expansions, I feel like Blizzard has been adding things. Cause like I'm I'm definitely one of those people that like in RPGs, I just loot everything, and then it doesn't matter that I have like 200 health potions. I'm gonna end the game with 200 health potions, and I'll almost never use one. Just because it's like, okay, well, I didn't die, so I didn't need it. I'm just gonna save it because like maybe one day I'll really need it. And I'm the same way with my survival abilities, especially on my tanks. I'm like, okay, I need to save that until I'm going to die if I don't hit the button. Because like if I use it now and then something bad happens, then I won't have it, and and then I'll die. And it's like that that doesn't work that way.
SPEAKER_01But in the last few To be fair, it does work that way on the interrupt affixes for prey and for ritual sites. Without fail, if I use that interrupt for whatever boss I'm fighting, instantly the interrupt affix will show up, and then I will die to that because I just used my interrupt.
SPEAKER_00Sure. And they're there like ex it's it what I'm saying definitely isn't true in like higher tier content, like mythic plus dun higher mythic plus dungeons, raids, like there are mechanics that you need to know about and you need to actively save your defensives for them. But I don't engage with a lot of that. And like in Delves, nothing's gonna like kill me just because I don't have a defensive up. And so in in the last few cycles, um, Blizz has been tying in some damage or like power with using your defensives. So like on my warrior, I think it was a talent, and then they took it away, and then they moved it back into a hero talent. Where if you have shield block up and you cast shield slam, shield slam does more damage. It's like, oh, well, then I want to make sure that I'm paying attention and I'm keeping shield block up as much as possible, and especially whenever I'm about to cast shield slam, because then I'm gonna do more damage. And so then I actually use shield block, whereas, you know, several expansions ago, like back in Legion, I was just never hitting that button. I didn't need it. I was like, okay, I'm not gonna use my rage on shield block, I'm just gonna dump all of it into ignore pain, which at the time basically functioned as a heal. Whereas now it's more of like it'll block most of the damage, but some of the damage is still getting through. So you're slowly taking damage, even if it's up all the time. But then similarly, like on the on the death knight, if you use your rune weapon, then you summon a bunch of floating copies of your weapon, and they'll all cast your plague debuff when you use blood boil. And then so you'll have like three or four copies of blood boil up on the target, and then if you use consumption, it does damage based on the number of stacks of blood boil that you have, or not blood boil, but the blood plague up on the target, and so then they take like three or four times more damage from that ability. So yeah, I think that's kind of a good approach, at least for me personally, because I'm actually paying attention and like trying to make sure I'm using my defensives all of the time, which is actually making me survive more and be able to focus more on doing damage. And then because I'm actually using my defensives and they increase your damage, I'm doing more damage. I just think that's a nice little feedback loop to get someone who like me who's always like, no, save the defensives, hoard them, or when you really need them. And it just turns into me just being a tank and never ever using my defensives. I think that's a nice little piece of design. Uh, you asked me if I thought they were doing that on purpose or not. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Oh, to try and make you use them or if it was just a happy accident.
SPEAKER_00Right. Whether whether the philosophy behind the design is, hey, let's. Oh my gosh, this guy is messaging me on all of my characters, and it doesn't matter if I report them or not.
SPEAKER_03Uh-oh.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, whether their design goal is to get people to use their defensives, or if it's just like, hey, we should pack in some power to people using their defensives for some other reason. I don't know. But it's hitting me nicely, and I appreciate it. I like that design.
SPEAKER_02Where do you want to go next?
SPEAKER_00Uh want is a str oh no, I want to go to Twilight Grips. I still haven't changed my hearth to Amanizar on this character.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, neither, but I haven't done that on any of my characters. I appreciate your logic, why that's the logical hearthstone to have, and I just have not. But I definitely should before the next expansion. Or not the next expansion, the next path, the next season, because we're gonna be doing troll zone stuff. So that would make the most sense.
SPEAKER_00Well, but then they might have a like there'll be somewhere on Snake Island to probably set your hearth that makes more sense.
SPEAKER_03Hmm it's like actually in the new zone. Don't you think? Maybe. Did they have hearthstone on Embiy Island?
SPEAKER_00On what island?
SPEAKER_01In Dragonflight. I forget the I forget what the Drakthier is.
SPEAKER_00Oh the Forbidden Reach.
SPEAKER_01Embiy Island sounds better.
SPEAKER_00In Forbidden Reach.
SPEAKER_03Uh I think so. I think there was an N. Sorry, I got distracted by a rare. There's a rare over there.
SPEAKER_01Also, I didn't have any coffer key shards because I was not planning on delving at all on this character. Not that I need them, but yeah, what are you gonna get?
SPEAKER_00Rep, maybe? I do need rep.
SPEAKER_01Maybe.
SPEAKER_00I'm just trying to remember where those rep tokens sometimes come from. I think it's from the bountiful chests.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I think I should. Because I'm only maxed out on Silver Moon, so.
SPEAKER_03But you told me it was a good way to get shards, and if you're not doing other things.
SPEAKER_01So I feel like, despite your natural inclinations, you did a ritual site with me today.
SPEAKER_00I did. That was better. I went on my paladin, but I usually play him on holy, but I switched to prop. And that was better doing it with you than trying to do it by myself on my shaman, who I usually play as resto, but who I went through it as elemental.
SPEAKER_01Is it just like restaurants and movie theaters? Like it's better with a friend.
SPEAKER_00I think it's better with a tank. I was just getting my face punched in on my elemental shaman. Like even on my tank, I was taking a decent amount of damage.
SPEAKER_01But between the little green healy orbs in emergency situations and you know the heals that Which we could share between the two of us. Right.
SPEAKER_00That was nice to that was nice to find out. I expected that the green healy orbs would work the same way as Valerious Hearts, where it only gives a heal to whoever picks them up and their minions. But yeah, in the ritual sites, I was picking up the green healy orbs and they were healing you for the same amount, and vice versa. That was nice.
SPEAKER_03Very exciting.
SPEAKER_01And I think I I I feel like I have a lockdown on the best affixes for ritual sites. I'm just very confident that they are very similar to the affixes for Nightmare Prey. I've got my interrupt only instead of a kind of like focus chase. It's a very, very wide area of effect.
SPEAKER_00You're talking about that ogre that shows up and just starts. Does the big boy spell?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So it even though it's you could DPS him down, it's basically an interrupt.
SPEAKER_00I mean, you can also just run out of it.
SPEAKER_01True. But it's usually quite large and it happens right over your combat. So it's kind of annoying to run out of it.
SPEAKER_00I was definitely running out of it on that mini boss when you were not around.
SPEAKER_01And then there's the baby poop circles.
SPEAKER_00Baby poop circles.
SPEAKER_01When the mobs die. Yeah, because it's green.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_01So I think that's the only thing that's annoying is when I don't have I'm not on my hunter because it's so nice to just like send the pet into the poop circles to loot things. But otherwise you can either loot it right away and then run out, or you can just wait for the circle to go away and then loot. Because a lot of times you'll kill things at different times, so by the time your last mob in that little area is done, one of the previous mobs will have already gotten rid of their circle. You can go loot that. Was that two or three? Reinforcements is fine. Totally fine. And then what's the fourth one? Oh, the roots. You just jump out of the roots. The same way I jump out of the little red circles for Nightmare Prey. No big deal. Although I have noticed that if I ever step into shallow water, especially on the Silver Moon ritual site, or the Eversong Woods ritual site, I without fail will get those little green root circles because they're really hard to see under the water. So now I just anticipate that every time I step into shallow water, I'm gonna need to run out of a root circle. And those are my hot tips for ritual sites from a ritual pro, me, Senila.
SPEAKER_03No, I don't mind them. They were okay. It still felt like it was more of a slog than just doing a delf. That's what the affixes are for. To make it more annoying.
SPEAKER_01I will say though that there's something about like being all geared up or mostly geared up. I I it's like a switch. There is a black and white, almost binary feeling for how much I enjoy playing a character versus how geared they are. When I am under-geared, I'm not having fun. And then when I'm overgeared and everything's easy, then I'm having fun. I know that's very childish, and I should enjoy the challenge, but I don't. I just want to be invincible and have to mildly pay attention to not die.
SPEAKER_00But if you're invincible, how can I find you?
SPEAKER_01Oh. I don't know. Why don't you look in that shallow grave that he put his horse in? Like what?
SPEAKER_00I mean, you try to dig a deep grave when the ground is frozen.
SPEAKER_01For a horse, no less.
SPEAKER_03He went back. He went back and got him.
SPEAKER_01Oh right, but like that wouldn't have worked. That horse would have been scattered everywhere because he didn't dig him deep enough to keep the predators off of him. Unless. Did he build the a cairn on top?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Cairn was Karen Bloodhoof? They they hadn't found Karen yet. He didn't get added to the story until Warcraft 3.
SPEAKER_01He was not in the story long enough. So many just great horde characters. Just gone before their time. Except for Sauerfang, who overstayed his welcome.
SPEAKER_03Karen was pretty old though, at least. You don't know how long bulls live.
SPEAKER_00No, but I know that he was very old. He talked about how old he was.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but so do we.
SPEAKER_00My bones ache.
SPEAKER_02I mean, so do mine, and I'm not even I'm not even middle-aged yet.
SPEAKER_03Well good thing we don't live in a fantasy world.
SPEAKER_01Well, because I do read a lot about fantasy worlds and like you're like, oh, you know, I'm so young, I'm only 300 years old.
SPEAKER_03Sure, if you're an elf.
SPEAKER_00That's why I'm saying, even if even if Karen was like 20, which I don't think he was, I think Torrin do live quite long.
SPEAKER_01Right, because I I mean, I don't know, it's it also seems like shifters tend to live pretty long. I think longer than a human lifestyle.
SPEAKER_00I think he was starting to be old for his species.

SPEAKER_00I had three stacks of it, and I was trying to activate the ability that like consumes the shards. And calls down the comets, and the little purple streak indicators were not going away.
SPEAKER_03Everything's fine. Everything's fine. I know how to play my character. I know. This isn't like my eighth old. What else is going on? We did ritual sites and finishing up our tier.
SPEAKER_01There was stuff we talked about last week. It was good stuff.
SPEAKER_00About how I'm looking forward to like getting towards the end of my seasonal checklist of things that I just need to get done. Being able to focus more on some expansion content that I haven't been focusing on, like go backing, going back to doing some more spear fishing, doing some hide and seek, maxing out the reputations, getting some mounts that I haven't gone and hunted down.
SPEAKER_01I do remember talking about that because I said I needed to finish up all my renowns so that I could buy the decor items, and I needed to do the hide and seek for decor items, and even some of the kind of cont or you know, community event-related rep, like the soiree for the decor items, farms, some crafting mats for the decor items, all that good stuff. You know, like a real a nice variety of things that I'd like to work on. We were having a discussion of if world quests are still good, even though they've kind of been replaced by other single-player content. Because they were very exciting in Legion, the world quests, and the world quests as a way to earn renown and things like that. And they're now they're just kind of part, a small part of a larger whole. And do we still think they're good? Or are world quests just old news?
SPEAKER_00Right. How you were incentivized to do them for chances to get your well to get artifact power and then chances to get legendaries out of the caches. Now there's not really anything like that anymore.
SPEAKER_01I mean that that renown buff from the special assignment is worthwhile. I was using that pretty heavily to farm my renown for Koresh in the last expansion. And I can see myself doing that at the end of the season when I have nothing better to do. Yeah, I forgot about your love of fishing. Good spot, but then when you suddenly decide you want to grind something for fishing, you're just gone fishing.
SPEAKER_00I was playing with the kid the other day, and she wanted we ran into that quest in Southern Eversong, where you have to catch like a really nice fish for the guy at the resort. And so that was her first experience with like, oh, there's fishing in the game. We definitely hung out and like fished for like half an hour before she said she wanted to move on and go back to questing some.
SPEAKER_01Well, because now she's interested in fishing in real life.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. Which is fun.
SPEAKER_01Why why mess with all that, you know, yucky real nature stuff when you can just click a button on your PC way better. No, I'm not we we touch grass occasionally.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there's like still that mount that you can get from fishing that I'm interested in chasing down.
SPEAKER_01We haven't done that yet?
SPEAKER_00No, it's quite rare.
SPEAKER_01Oh man.
SPEAKER_00Previous expansions that had like the rare world drop fishing chance. Like I usually didn't get until an expansion or two after it came out.
SPEAKER_01Well, because we had talked about, I was like, oh, you can there's a mount and pet vendor over by the field accolade kind of new patch stuff. And you're like, there is? Oh, I probably got all of those already. That's probably the first thing I did, and now I forgot they existed. I forgot that you existed. So now I just assume that if there's a mount in the game, you already know about it and have gotten it.
SPEAKER_00Nope, my focus has very much been on trying to get all the myth tier appearances before the season runs out. So I tried to do that in The War Within, and I wasn't ever able to. I'd always get it on like three or four characters before I lost interest.
SPEAKER_01I mean, because we we have heard that chatter that they've oh, they've nerfed your gear progression in the season. And that might be why I've I feel like we're running out of time because usually at this point in the season we are not getting all that gear. Do you think what do you think contributed to that? Do you think it's the little vendor at the end of the delves, or how did we how did we get it done faster than we normally do?
SPEAKER_00Well, I think if it was just the vendor at the end of the delves, that would have been an increase on its own. But then they also added all the Yesimus reroll tokens.
SPEAKER_03That's right.
SPEAKER_00Automatically gave you another two tier piece sorry, heroic pieces a week, whereas before you were limited to two a week, one from the vault and one from your map would get you two, right? So now with Decimus, that gives you four, and then with the rank nine of the Delver's journey, you just get a chance out of the bountiful chest at the end to get a piece of her tier. Sorry, gosh, a piece of heroic gear. So then that's an extra between one and well, I guess between zero and you're insanely lucky, six. Yeah, that probably happened to one person in the entire game. They got a heroic piece out of every single bountiful chest that they opened for the week. So yeah, we've got to.
SPEAKER_01Well, but what's the chances of something that you need?
SPEAKER_00Right. I'd say I I I usually see between one or two heroic pieces of loot dropping from those end of run chests in a given week. So, you know, you went from two pieces of hero gear a week to what, like five or six pieces of hero tier a week. Hero gear. I what is wrong with me?
SPEAKER_02I never said that.
SPEAKER_00And the ones and the ones from Decimus, like once you roll them, you're never gonna get those again. Right? It's not like the other ones where it's random and you can get legs every single week.
SPEAKER_01That was really rude when all I need is legs.
SPEAKER_00Sorry. Should have said bracers because that's what actually happens to me.
SPEAKER_01Honey, where are my pants? But yeah, it does it does feel faster. And I like, you know, if you're listening to things people say on the internet, it's always going to be complaining. But I feel like kind of this point last year, people were complaining about getting a lot of repeats and stuff. And now that we have the reroll and we have the vendor for some more bad luck protection.
SPEAKER_00Can you inspire me with the power of the dragons?
SPEAKER_01No, because I'm not a dragon.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's right, you're not. Can you inspire me with how fierce your pets are?
SPEAKER_01No, I can't do that either.
SPEAKER_00Can you just die from a boss? I could just die.
SPEAKER_01I could just die from a boss mechanic.
SPEAKER_03I zigged when the boss zagged, and now you're on your own.
SPEAKER_00It's pretty interesting because when you got hit with that mechanic on your evoker earlier today, you survived.
SPEAKER_01Oh, shots fired. Not from my bow.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think I had a damage reduction on you from my holy pally. I never did fix my because it didn't seem to matter.
SPEAKER_01So I never changed the spec on my pet. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Because that's an Wait, can I just change the spec on my pet from my spell book now? Or I still have to go to a pet station, right?
SPEAKER_00I believe you still have to go to the Which is why I don't do it.
SPEAKER_03It just doesn't make sense.
SPEAKER_01If I can change my spec at any given time, why shouldn't I change my pets?
SPEAKER_03I think I used to be able to.

SPEAKER_01I would never instantly suspect you of misogyny, but it would probably be faster for me to just try to die from the boss and then we both start it over again. It's just so hard for me to die.

SPEAKER_03It's not a thing. All tanks go to the Shadowlands. Which are not what they seem.
SPEAKER_01It's the Shadowlands are not what they seem. And I'm just like, duh.
SPEAKER_00That's what I tell our kid when we're playing together. I'm like, hey, can you come help me kill this? She's like, I'll come save you, daddy. And I'm like, well, I'm not. You don't need to save me. Like, I'm not gonna die. They can't kill me, but I will be here until tomorrow.
SPEAKER_03It'd be a lot faster if you could come do some AoE.
SPEAKER_01Be fighting this boss till Latorin come home.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. That's fine. Really would have been faster for me to just die and start it over again.
SPEAKER_01But back to the Shadowlands. Do you remember the one and only BlizzCon we've ever gone to where we everybody knew they were gonna release Shadowlands? We didn't know how like freaking awesome that trailer cinematic was gonna be. But everybody knew, like, it got leaked. Everybody knew that Shadowlands was coming out. So I decided to make a bold statement. And for the con before the storm, I made you a custom, like decaled t-shirt. What did that say? Did you remember?
SPEAKER_00World of Warcraft Shadowlands, Sylvanas was right.
SPEAKER_01Yes. I am all for the Sylvanas was right retcon. As belated as it may be, I'm ready for it.

I I I think it would have made more sense if she would have just come back for the whole expansion instead of a little like, oh hey guys, I'm going back. Because it did feel very like, well, how else were we gonna get her into this picture? That was a that was a Muppet Treasure Island Swedish chef reference. Like we have to like at least give her a cameo because it would be weird otherwise, but it ended up being weird anyway.

Because I was just gonna give up and be like, I'll just level them up to, you know, heroic appearance and just be happy with my heroic appearance. But then I messed up my I think it was my belt. I messed up my belt, and now I I'm not gonna get a full set unless I get another which I did today. I did get another belt.
SPEAKER_03I could have kept it instead of leveling that one up or catalyzing it. Hindsight is 2020. So do we do the thing?
