Hi guys, welcome back to our podcast! Episode three. Episode three, baby. You would never know. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, whoa.
SPEAKER_03That was good. Okay, Hannah Montana.
SPEAKER_01Thank you. I was gonna say you would never know, but we just filmed episode two.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I thought you were gonna just say we were just sinking into our microphones. Oh I mean, yeah, we were we were.
SPEAKER_01Tara and I specifically were having a whole like voice moment.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we were doing Hannah Montana a little bit ago. It was just a moment. Um it was a moment. Yeah guys, welcome back. We just filmed episode two. Now this is episode three. We just had so much to say. Yeah, yeah, we did. We have a lot. Honestly, we don't see each other that often, so we had a lot to talk about. We went to brunch this morning and we told each other we couldn't talk about anything. We sat there in silence. Yeah, it was first one to talk has to pay. We just stared at each other. Yeah, phones in the middle, first one to talk.
SPEAKER_01No, but so many times we were gonna say something that we'd stop and we're like, oh, we're gonna talk about in the podcast. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But you know what? We actually did chat the whole time and it was nothing related to so I'm very proud of ourselves. I thought about that on the way here. Yeah. I tend to be on the quiet side, so I feel like we did good. We did good.
SPEAKER_01There's a complete side note, but like I rolled up to we went to Lula's cafe. I was there first, and then Dinah came in, and then Taylor comes in, and me and Taylor are wearing the exact same sweatshirt. Yeah. Different colors. Different colors. But the exact same. The exact same. We both said Detroit. We felt mine's red and hers is blue.
SPEAKER_02We did buy them together though. We did buy them together. This is my first time wearing it. Are you serious? Oh, I thought you were gonna say it was yours too. No, I wear this all the time. I love that. It's really cute. I know I I couldn't Oh my god, words are so hard. I forgot about it. And so I was like, I am trying to like go through my closet of like things that I haven't worn in a while and wear them. And then I was like, wait, I have this sweatshirt, I need to wear it. No, it's really cute. It is cute, it's so comfy. I love it. So cute, so comfy. Looks good on you guys. She has cute little jeans on. I'm a jean girl now.
SPEAKER_01Taylor when we were at the hub for Emily's birthday. Yeah. I was saying, I was like, I feel like people wearing leggings out is gonna make a comeback.
SPEAKER_02Because people were in sweats. This girl was in a lingerie core set that was 100% see-through on the top with sweatpants on the bottom. And I know like the whole like sweatpants. Multiple girls were in sweatpants.
SPEAKER_01Like I know the whole like sweatpants with like a cute like sweatshirt and then like a um but like a cute coat and like sneakers with like makeup done. It is in like a look, but like she had full-on just like sweatpants with a like Victoria's Seeker like lingerie top. Full lace. But then I saw like two or three girls who had leggings on. Yeah. And I feel like when I was at state, like you'd wear leggings to like a house party, like that's what you were wearing. Yeah. And I just feel like you just started wearing jeans. Taylor was saying, Taylor's like, I just started wearing jeans.
SPEAKER_00I was like, I am starting to wear jeans more, and I don't know if it's because I'm getting older, and I try not to wear leggings now as I can't tell last I wear leggings apart from the gym. Even then I'd rather wear shorts or slacks. Yeah, I'd like I'm trying to implement jeans or like dress pants. Yeah. You you have been killing it with the little slacks. Yeah. So they are cute. I'm like, I'm not really like a I don't like to do like leggings. Like unless like I want to like bomb it out, I guess. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But I was just when you said something about your jeans, I would made me think about it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I just bought my maybe fourth pair of jeans, which is crazy. I was never a jean girly. Literally at work, the girls were like, I've never seen you in jeans and you've worked here like six years. I was just never comfortable in them, but no.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I feel like if you find a good pair, absolutely and it's hard for me to find a good pair because A, I'm tall. Like I just have really long legs and like a shorter torso. And B, like because I'm tall, I'm also wide, like I have wide hips. I'm a size like 10, sometimes like a 12, depending on like I have big hips. So it's hard to find that plus something that's like my length. Like I'll find a jean that's so cute and I put it on and it's like it's like a flood's coming. Yeah, and I'm like, oh, and then that like some places aren't tall friendly either. Yeah, yeah. So it sucks. But once I find a good pair, I'm like, I wear it all the time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because these are actually kind of short, like I don't think these come in any sort of length. Yeah, but even these can kind of be a little short on me. But I get away with it, yeah. But yeah, cool. Yeah, that was my random that no, that was a good thought because I thought about that too. I was like, wait, what are the girlies wearing nowadays? I interesting though almost because I don't know if this is in or out either, and not that it matters, but I was like, I wanted to wear like a belt bag because I don't like to bring a big bag to the bar. Yeah. I only had a belt bag. I know she did, and I was like, darn it. I wasn't like sure. You know what I mean? Like, I I don't know. But it's so true though, like it's hard to keep up, but I'm not sure it doesn't matter. But it doesn't.
SPEAKER_01I always say that. I'm like, it does not matter. It really doesn't. But then I'm out and I'm like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Everyone's looking at me. I like as an adult am always so late on trends, and like I said, not that it matters, but it's just like I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Am I late? I don't think I ever follow a trend. I feel like everyone has their own style and everyone can be cute and different things. You're so right. You know, like just do your thing. Like, I hate when like people just like want to copy everyone else, and it's like like if you want to wear a belt bag, wear a belt bag. You're right. Like sometimes I'll see a girl with like something I would never wear, but I'm like, she's rocking that.
SPEAKER_01Like I'll see some girl wearing something that like I wanted to wear, yeah. But in my head, I was like, I'm gonna look so stupid. Like is that you go out, and I'm like, she looks so good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I guess that's what I mean. Like, not trend, but like, yeah, I guess it's like that. Like, yeah, would I wear that? And then like, or I thought of wearing that. Yeah, like it's whatever you're comfortable with.
SPEAKER_01I'm just gonna blend in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Like you put something on and then like you can stand up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. No, I get that. I get that.
SPEAKER_00If it makes you feel confident, then wear it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And you know what? As Demi Lavada once said, who said I can't wear my Converse with my dress?
SPEAKER_02I thought you were gonna sing um Selena Gomez. Who said who said? That too, guys.
SPEAKER_01That too. All them Disney girls throw them all in there.
SPEAKER_02You guys, yeah. What? I don't know if you guys would know about this because I just found out about it yesterday. Have you guys like heard about the Selena Gomez like clone thing? I saw like one TikTok bomb that's like clone. No, clone. Clone. Like you're cloning someone. No. Oh, it's creepy. I don't even want to talk about it, but I was just curious if you guys had heard about it. Someone cloned her. No, it it's oh, it's scary. I don't even I couldn't even explain it to you. But we'll have to look this up when we're done.
SPEAKER_00So creepy.
SPEAKER_02That's that's crazy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I love Selena Glass. I love Selena Gomez. You do love Selena.
SPEAKER_01I do. I got a but I don't know if I was with you guys. I got like uh the brow gel, the Selena, the Rare Beauty Brow gel?
SPEAKER_02We weren't together, but you told us, yeah. Guys, I love it. So your favorite things ever.
SPEAKER_01That with the this is gonna be controversy. But the Selena Gomez, the Rare Beauty Brow Gel, and then the Rode Blush, the Hailey Bieber. I know. But are you wearing Justin Bieber perfume? Right? What was this perfume's call? I have no idea. But um that that brow gel with the Toasted Teddy blush and then the Refy. Ooh. The Refine Mascara, the brown one. Yeah. I don't have mascara on right now, but those are like my three things.
SPEAKER_00I have the Refai mascara on right now, the black one. I kind of wish I got the brown one because it kind of looks nice. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna get a brown one. The brown one's I just haven't I didn't put mascara on today because I did put mascara on yesterday and I was like kind of the vibe.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But um Okay. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know where I was going with that. That was basically all I had to say. I just wanted to say I really like the brow gel.
SPEAKER_02I thought you were gonna say you bought the body spray, because that was with us when we found it at um Marshall's.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, I have that. That's in my car. That's my like, oh shoot, I might smell like bad. Oh, but that smells really good. No, that smells really good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes I'm just like, does my shirt smell weird? Oh I'm the same way. Yeah, same. I'm I will put perfume on anytime all day.
SPEAKER_01I have been using the the Rare Beauty perfume though.
SPEAKER_02I have I have two. You know how I said I didn't love it at first? That's been my work perfume like the last two weeks.
SPEAKER_01Because it's light. Yes, but I've been spraying, so I'll spray that on and then I spray the the vanilla one that one of you got me for Christmas. I did vanilla fleur. Yeah. I've been spraying that one with it and layering it. And then also sometimes I've been taking the not another cherry one from Target.
SPEAKER_02That, like when I smell that, I think of you.
SPEAKER_01I I love that. But I've been spraying that and like a spritz of the vanilla one. Oh okay.
SPEAKER_02You know what I just discovered? One of the girls brought in to work the salt air sandalwood. That's what I have. The lotion and the spray. Yes. Oh, I sprayed it at work, and everyone at work is like, you got it, you smell so good. I'm like, I'm literally using whoever brought that and is leaving it in the back room.
SPEAKER_00You might hate though, I have that, but like I feel like I can't smell it on me anymore.
SPEAKER_02Really? I feel like it is actually so powerful.
SPEAKER_00It is, but I'm like, oh my god, like is it like I I have the bottle, and at first I would like put the lotion and I even have the body wash of that. And then I would do the spray, and I'm like, dang, like I smell good. Yeah. And then now I'm like, I can't smell it on me.
SPEAKER_02Because the lotion is actually really powerful. Like, I feel like I could actually wear that alone and actually feel like that's all I could smell. Do you use their deodorant? Yeah, and actually, fun if you just reminded me I need to go to the store when I leave here and buy more. Mine has it on clearance. I almost bought it for you today, but I couldn't remember if you liked it. Yeah. But my Target has it on clearance. Is it a serum one? I think so. It's like a Target now. Yeah, I always buy it all today. They do smell smell. Oh my gosh, you guys, words are so good. It's okay. It's the third time I've said that. They do sell it at Target now. And they had it on clearance. And I literally almost bought it for you because, like I said, I thought you I'm like you and Carm use it, right? Mm-hmm. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Someone bought now they had a deodorant. Someone bought me this. No, I did. Oh, you did? I bought it for both you guys. Yeah, because I have one too.
SPEAKER_02Because I was looking for the driftwood because you wanted the driftwood. That one brown, that's the dark brown one. We found a small next day. Yes.
SPEAKER_01That smells so good. And then someone bought it. That's the scent of the one I've been wearing at work. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Because then someone bought me the salt and stone lotion. I did. And that small town. I'm sorry. I didn't mean saltaires. The salt and stone is the one I have. I think it's sandalwood too.
SPEAKER_01This one? This brand?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Wait, so you need to try the saltair one.
SPEAKER_00Okay. That one.
SPEAKER_02This one. Literally, I put it on at work, and everyone's like, you smell so good.
SPEAKER_00But I feel like that's with anything, any perfume I use like quite a while, and I feel like I can't smell it on me anymore. And I'm and then people be like, Oh, you smell so good. And I'm like, oh. Yeah. Two way?
SPEAKER_02One time. I can't smell. At work, one of my clients, she's like, Do you use the method laundry detergent? And I'm like, Yeah, why? She's like, I can literally smell it on you. And I'm like, I've never been able to smell it. Like, yeah, I guess you just get used to it, right?
SPEAKER_01So yeah, I guess that's true. Yeah. Because my voice spray perfume and I don't smell it. But then if I like take my sweatshirt off and I get warm and I put it back on it, I can smell it on my treasure.
SPEAKER_02Or like a coat or something. Yeah. Yeah. Cause one time I wore, it was when Ariana Grande came out with the mod perfume, the vanilla one. She has I one time like walked into a Bouchermi's and this girl's like, You smell so good. And I'm like, I have not put on like perfume since this morning, like trying to think, and it was literally like lingering on my like fur jacket. And I was like, Oh. Yeah, it was a great compliment.
SPEAKER_01But I love like twice I can specifically remember someone walking by me and be like, You smell so good. Yeah. It's like the best compliment.
SPEAKER_02You're like, and I feel like it's when you're always wearing the not your cherry or whatever. Once it was in Target, once it was a pocket.
SPEAKER_01Some girl ran into the Oh, so three times. Someone said the smell of the locker room. Was it like someone we know?
SPEAKER_02It's a boy.
SPEAKER_01Is it yeah? So it's so funny because that same boy gave me the same compliment um at our friend's wedding.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. And you know what's so crazy? Remember when he was just like trying to show you his shirt? Alright, we gotta stop.
SPEAKER_00Anyway, who are you guys talking about? We can't say.
SPEAKER_01Okay, no comment. Halloween. Actually, I'll say it and I'll bleep it because I like bleeping them out. I love the bleeps.
SPEAKER_02Bleep it, baby. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah. He's like, you smell so good.
SPEAKER_00He was like, who does put perfume on? It smells so good. Oh, I think I do remember you talking about that. He's obsessed with eating. Hop lunch to twice, eh?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Remember? At your house? For Halloween. Halloween the first year.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Oh my god. Crazy. We probably should bleep on it. I mean, I'll cut this. Whatever. It's fine. Whatever.
SPEAKER_00We're back. We're back. Yeah, we're back. Um, do you guys want to start with like what would be a good day? Yeah. From beginning to end.
SPEAKER_01Well, Diana came with a good idea because we should do our red flag or green flag. But we literally just filmed the other episode right before this. We already went through our flags. But Diana said we should say, like, what would our like ideal day be?
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01It has to be like super detailed.
SPEAKER_02No. No. Should we start with Taylor the song? Start with Diana Lesson. Okay. Because I thought of it this morning. I today's Sunday. So I like woke up, not super early, but like just like a slow morning. So got out of bed, took my shower, made my coffee, and I just like sat there for a second. It's like it's so nice to not like have to rush around, you know? Um, but like my perfect day is like, yeah, slow morning. Um, preferably running to Duncan. I'm a Duncan girly. And we're getting what from Duncan? Oh, first I have to order my breakfast sandwich so it's like made hot. Because my biggest fear in life is when something's half hot, half warm. Okay. Or half cold. I'm sorry. Yeah. Okay. Like if it's still frozen in the middle. Oh. Biggest peppy. So a plain bagel with sausage egg and cheese on it. Okay. And a medium iced brown sugar shaken espresso from Duncan. I've never had one from Duncan. I actually prefer it over Starbucks. I discovered that today. I I mean I've been drinking it for months, but I don't I today I decided I like this more than the Starbucks one. It's just more coffee espresso-e. I love that coffee. Okay, so I run to Duncan. And then if a good show's on, usually Wednesdays are my day off. Wednesdays is the show day. Love is Blind comes out on Wednesdays. The summer I turn pretty used to come out on Wednesdays. So I would run to Duncan, wake up early, watch my show, um, like do a little reset on the house. Um honestly just taking it easy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I do like having plans at night, but like, yeah. Nothing crazy. Like a chill day. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's probably it. Hot take on um on the Duncan. I actually hate, not hate. I don't want to use the word hate. It is one of my least favorite coffee places. I tried liking it, but every time I like would switch it up or order something else, and I'm like, it's like okay for me.
SPEAKER_01I love Duncan, but I know Duncan. I know you guys love Duncan. The Duncan, Duncan's very like, no, they're known for being inconsistent. Okay. Correct. But the Duncan by my house, I feel like maybe twice in total that I've gone there has my drink been like not great. It's so good though. I like it's not having.
SPEAKER_00Like given it chances and chances where sometimes I'm like, let me try again, let me try again. And I just I'm always like eh, the one it's okay.
SPEAKER_02It's okay. By your house used to be my favorite one, and that was like the only Duncan for the longest time. Yeah, that's the one I would go for. The one at 23 and Shanner, I do not like. Um, that one used to be my Duncan because that was the closest to where I live now. Now the one at 26 mile, best Duncan. I haven't been there. The only thing I will say, I've never had a half hot, half cold sandwich. Thank God. Um the one on Van Dyke in 23. One time I got it, and this the patty for the sausage literally tasted like a Clorox wipe. Nope, let's ride it. It was disgusting. Um, but the one on 26 mile, great. Um only like maybe twice they've kind of slightly burnt my bagel, but not terrible. I also like my bagels like really chewy. Remember, like we were talking about this at the bar the other day. I have some really weird hot takes on food.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, that's okay.
SPEAKER_02Everything has our soggy salad. Oh, leftover soggy salad.
SPEAKER_01And I said, Are you okay? What was the other thing that I was saying leftover in me? Because Matt. Oh, the onion rings.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Do you have an onion ring stitch? Like it's like soggy. I don't think I like anything soggy. Guys, my mom says, sorry, mom, my mom says soggy, she says soggy. Soggy? Like she has an accent from like like she has like some sort of like New Yorker accent. Soggy. Okay. And I'm like, Cheryl, what would be your perfect day, Sammy? Okay. Well, actually, real quick, the Dunkin' thing. I love Duncan. I will say though, their food is like probably one of my least favorite like places to get food. That's crazy. I know.
SPEAKER_00I had like an avocado toast and I was like, what? Like you don't even taste like avocado toast.
SPEAKER_01No, that's just weird. But um Go ahead. Yeah, that was fine. Okay. My ideal date. And I'm going like ideal, ideal. I'm gonna I'm waking up. Okay. I'm gonna go with a Sunday because it's I think it's Sunday's it's Sunday right now, so I'm just gonna go my ideal Sunday. Okay. Um I would wake up. Um ideally, Formula One season would be in full swing, so and ideally the race would not be at like 3 a.m. So I would wake up. I probably wake up, race would be at like I'm gonna say eight o'clock. It's usually like an hour and a half. Yeah. So I would say I would wake up, race is on, hopefully McLaren's on top. Okay. Maybe maybe Williams pulled up a podium and we got Alex or Carlos over there. Anyway. Um that would be my ideal, and then it would be probably like 9:30. Well, I would have waken up and like made a coffee first. Right. Then I could drink the coffee. Well, maybe maybe I'd even drive to Duncan. I'd wake up really like get a coffee. Yeah. Um, I would watch the race. It'd be a great outcome. I'd have about like an hour before church, then I'd get ready for church. Um, I might have something to eat. Honestly, I don't eat a lot in the morning. So maybe I'd have something to eat. And if I was having something to eat, again, this is ideal. I'd make like a breakfast bagel sandwich. I'd like egg, swiss cheese, crispy bacon. Yum. That would be my vibe. I might eat that, and then I would get ready for church, and then I'd go to church. Leave, come home. What would I do? Maybe I'd get brunch. If I didn't have the bagel sandwich, maybe I'd get brunch with like my mom after. I'd come home. Um, I'd probably like doom scroll for an hour. Let's be so real.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, at least be realistic.
SPEAKER_01I probably also do like a little reset of like clean up my room. I love a good reset. I don't usually go to the gym, but like it would be nice. On Sundays, I don't usually go to the gym. Yeah. Maybe go to the gym, maybe go for a nice walk. Yeah, in the spring, a nice walk. I love a nice walk outside. The like the window open in my bedroom. Yeah. Fresh air. Love that. Um while I doom scrolled, the cats would hang out with me. Spencer and Gus would vibe with me. Yeah. And then honestly, I probably wouldn't have like I don't like having a lot of plans on a Sunday because I get the Sunday scary so I gotta work on Monday. I know I hate that.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, not today, not working tomorrow.
SPEAKER_01Tuesday's gonna be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_00Tuesday up till 3 a.m.
SPEAKER_02And what are you gonna be doing?
SPEAKER_00Re-watching.
SPEAKER_01Here I'm gonna just yeah, I'd probably like watch a show though. You need to watch Love Story. I need to watch Love Story. Honestly, actually, now that we're doing the pod, I feel like ideally, maybe after church, I would go to like a coffee shop, edit the podcast. This might be a new Sunday thing. This might be a new Sunday tradition. Okay. But um, yeah, and I'd probably just go home hang out with the family. You know what? I love sitting on the back patio when the weather's nice. Yeah. I was gonna say that about my day too. I love a good like back. I'd read a book.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Whatever book I'm reading. I need to finish reading the book that I'm reading right now. But um, yeah, and then I would probably just like hang out. We'd have some good dinner. I want like a roast. I love a good roast. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That would be my ideal. That sounds great. I love that. Sounds great. Sounds like a great day. Amazing. Mine's kind of similar with both of you guys. Perfect. Let's hear it. So mine, I like automatically think like spring summer. Yeah. Oh, if that's when things are. Like any of our ideal days is days is like it's midwinter, it's bleak. And usually like my windows open, my blinds, because I like waking up to the sun. So I'm picturing me waking up, birds are chirping. Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp. The sun is out. You know, like that nice morning crisp sound. Yeah. Yeah, like that's what I love. Like the sun out. I wake up, do my skincare real quick, um, make my coffee. And then I would sit on my porch and just enjoy the quietness for a little bit. I like that without touching my phone, reading, just want to like just sit and sip on my coffee. Like a nice low morning. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then if Noah's with me, I would love him to be there, obviously. And we just chit-chat with whatever we want to chit-chat for a little bit. And then I love walks during that time. I love me and Noah when we would walk like for an hour just to just go somewhere. And sometimes we'll stop at random places and make like a fun day out of that. So a walk definitely would have to be included. And then coming back from the walk, I would probably go to a gym real quick or a solid core. And then after that, I'm picturing kind of maybe soaking the sun a little bit and showering and getting that nice sunburn and then going out to dinner by the water.
SPEAKER_01Ooh. Ooh, with some seafood.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01The laying out in the sun is a good addition.
SPEAKER_02I almost was gonna say you forgot something, but if you're going out to dinner, probably not. You are like very good about like going and exercising and then finding like a good healthy lunch. Yes.
SPEAKER_00I do love like a brunch with Snow. Yeah. Yeah, I forgot. I yeah. So I would probably do brunch at some point before dinner. Yeah. And I love sitting outside and eating. So I would probably do that. Um, and then yeah, like I love dinner by the water with seafood, a glass of wine. Should be at the Island Grill. Yeah. Island Grill. And I love that like sun-kissed glow and just like the what smell of water and like live music playing in the background, and like mean like a cute little dress. Like the vibes are high. The vibes are high. And the sun doesn't leave set till like 10 p.m. So you can go for a night walk if you wanted to, or you could like go for out for ice cream. It needs to be summer so bad. I that's my ideal day. I love spring summer, and it's my favorite.
SPEAKER_01Like also, just even so simple as like you just put your outfit on and you're like out the door. You're not like, what coat do I need? Do I need a scarf? Yeah. I think like it's shoes in a finger ground. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I just feel like you're Day is so much longer, so you're like you feel like you have a lot to do. And like, I don't know. I always feel like I'm in a better mood too.
SPEAKER_02Oh, when the sun comes out, my seasonal depression is cured.
SPEAKER_00Because I like opening my windows. I like like the fresh air that's coming in. And then the spring cleaning is my favorite thing. Oh, I can't wait to do that. And switching out my closet, putting all my winter stuff away, and putting up my spring and summer up. Yeah. That would be my ideal day. I had my window open probably Friday. Yesterday or two days ago? Yeah. I did too.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, no, but it was not even like on the super warm day. It was literally like 30 something. I do that too sometimes. It was just, it was sunny, and I just needed to like. Yeah. I saw like they call it like burping your house. Yes. I've been doing it. Alright, we're closing up. It was freezing in my room, but I just like needed the air.
SPEAKER_00You needed the fresh air. I do that too sometimes. Love that. Okay, those sound like great days, guys. I know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Can't wait. It's like ideal days. I'm like ideal date. We're at the airport. We're traveling. If we really want to be extravagant, yeah. We're flying to see Carmel. Hot take. Do you guys like the airport? I love the airport. No, I do too. I love traveling. I don't like going through like TSA. I get like really bad anxiety where I'm like, they're gonna say they have to throw away all my stuff. Yeah. Like I'm like, they're gonna have find something in there. Like, I can't bring it. We always find something in mine. I was like, they're gonna throw everything away and then we'd be screwed up and like miss my flight. But like once I'm through there, I'm like, dude, I love it.
SPEAKER_02My anxiety with TSA is like if I haven't like, you know how you don't have to take your shoes off anymore? The last two times yeah, actually they changed that. They changed that in the fall. You don't have to take your shoes off anymore. Like some airports still do have you do it, but like DTW, you don't have to. Oh. But the thing is, when I traveled in October and December, I was wearing like tall boots because I was packing light and was like, I'll wear those on the airport. Um, yeah, I was in line and then like my bag's under the thing. I'm like walking up, and the guy's like, You gotta go to the back of the line and take those off and put them in the bin. Then I'm like, Oh, my stuff and my purse is already out. Yeah, I gotta go to the back of the line. That's where my anxiety is like I just and then I've been getting pat down the last few times.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I just think they make it so stressful when it they do. They shouldn't be. Or they're like I mean, they're kind of like hard asses. Like, you you're human, like chill out. Like I know you're trying to be scary, but like, come on. But you gotta be safe. I mean, I get it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I think sometimes they like they're like they're kind of like intimidating, but then sometimes I think about the fact they probably deal with so many people who act like it's their first day on earth. Yeah, the New York TSA people are they were they yell at you mean to me. They are DTW is so nice always. They were really actually the people at RSW were really nice too in Florida. Okay. They were so nice. Like, I like went to their the airport, it's like so small. It is really I like I literally turned to go down like security. It's like a hallway. It's like literally a hallway. Really? But they were so nice, I was like going, like the guy was like, Oh, like you're going back. Do you have a good trip? Like, okay, put your stuff in though. I don't know why he has a southern accent. I don't know why I'm making weird accents. I think I did that because you did it. But um, no, when I was at LaGuardia Airport, we were flying back um last time I was in New York. Yep, and our we were it was probably like 4 a.m., I think. So our phone was like 5 20. Uh-huh. Not a single person like in line for security. Like it was just us, okay. But like I walk up, I have on obviously like my backpack and a sweatshirt, and then I have my carry on, and I have like a crossbody. Yeah. Okay. So they're like, you know, they do the whole like thing like take your shoes off, put everything in the bin, blah, blah, blah, take out your la, whatever. I'm like, take my I I take my backpack off, okay? And I take one step forward just to like reach the bin. Yeah. And the guy's like, the guy's like, you gotta take your shoes off. I'm like, I I was like, I know. I'm like, I'm gonna take my back. I'm getting there. And I'm like, mid-taking my shoes off, and then he's like, You gotta take that bag off your body. I'm like, I literally looked at him, I said, Can't you give me a second? No, I literally looked at him and I went, I know, I'm getting there. Yeah. Because I'm like, I'm not trying to be snappy with you, but at the same time, like, I'm I can't do so many things at once. And also, what are you rushing me for? There was, it was me, my cousin Molly, and her husband. I said, What am I?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't think I've ever had like a bad experience at any airport.
SPEAKER_02Go to LaGuardia, because the first time we went to send me out. The first time we went, my coworker literally was like, Do I need to put something in a separate bin? And he's like, I don't know, look around. Sir, please just tell us. Some airports they'll be like, Oh, you can put it all in here. Exactly. Or they're like, Oh, please just tell me. I'm not trying to fight with you. Yeah. I love you're doing your job. You're so passionate about your job. But just tell me, do I need two bins or do I need one?
SPEAKER_01And like, you don't have to be like overly nice.
SPEAKER_00No. But you can say that I'm always like, hi, how are you? They're like, good, you? I'm like, good. I'm like trying to be friendly and then like trying to make their day a little bit. I'm like, maybe they're having a rough day.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I am trying to be the nicest person to these people. Especially like because when I was traveling over in the fall, it was like the shutdown. Yeah. And I was like trying to be so overly nice. But like DTW, I've never had a bad experience. They're so nice to me there.
SPEAKER_01So one time I was at the airport, yeah. I got stressed because, well, it was last time I flew. My flight was at like 1.30, but I had to get there at like 6 a.m. So it's the only time we could arrive. Yes. So I get there, no, like literally nobody in line for security. So I was like, okay, great. Great. But there was actually like I felt so rushed because there was no one else really in line. It was like me and three other people. So I didn't usually I'm in line and I can like take my ID out or left or whatever. I like get up there, I'm like, oh my god. Like, okay, I'm like settled in. So I'm like, you're like the thing or whatever. They got you can go over there, so go over there. And then the other guy's like, oh no, come back over here. And I'm like, okay, okay, whatever. Where do you want me? But they were like nice about it. But then this there was some guy, so obviously they switched over. You have to like the real ID to fly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01There was some guy that was like pulled aside talking to like one of the um TSA officer people, and he was like trying to fly without the like real ID. And the girl was like, That's okay, like do you do you still have like your other ID? Like you can still it was before they had to come, you just like switched over. So you could still technically fly with your regular ID. Okay. And he's like, um He was like, Oh, like I just have this or something, and I think the ID that he had been has that he gave her was like expired or something. And she was like, Well, I can't, like, I can't, it's whatever. Or something was wrong. I don't remember what it was, and then she was like, Well, do you have like another like form of ID? He goes, Um, I don't know, like I might. She goes, Well, where would it be? He's like, I might have put it in like my checked bag. First of all, you either know you did or you didn't. Did the girl was just like, Okay, yeah, I don't know what to tell you then. Like, you could tell if she was trying to be like helpful and he was just giving her nothing to work with. Yeah, he just kept being like, Well, I can't fly like without it. And she was like, You don't oh, I think that's what it was. He didn't have any ID. Oh, it was he didn't have any ID. And she's like, Do you have a passport? Do you have an expired ID? Like anything. He's like, I might. And she was like, Yeah, I don't know. Like you need something. He was like, So I can't like it through. She's like, if you don't have any ID, she's like, No, you can't. Crazy. Yeah, it's always weird. That is weird, but yeah.
SPEAKER_02Do you want to get on your update?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Oh, yeah, guys. Our last episode, we were just like, we were just yapping. We had a good time, but I love talking about boys. I we did, but we didn't bring up our oh I mean, like the one we just filmed the birthday episode. Yeah. We talk about birthday stuff, and we didn't bring up like any of our boy updates. Yeah. So we're gonna talk about it. I would love to hear that's why we're here, right? Yeah, tell us. Guys, there's like Sammy's big update. Guys, here we go. Everyone ready?
SPEAKER_00Should I ask like the main question of should y'all hang out yet?
SPEAKER_01No. Right.
SPEAKER_00No, crazy.
SPEAKER_01Um, no. So here's the thing. Obviously, like I'd asked him, like, hey, like, are you free next weekend? Okay, I don't know if I said this on the pod or not, but I had asked him, um, I think I was like, hey, like, I'm free next weekend if you want to do something. I think I had said that. Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And you gave him like more than enough time to be like. Even though also, even though, like, we have both mutually said we should hang out some weekends or whatever, and it just never happens. Correct. So then I was like, made it very clear. I was like, hey, I'm free next weekend if you want to hang out. Whatever. He responds back and he's like, keep in mind, still on Snapchat. He's like, Oh yeah, like I I think I'm I don't think I have anything going on, so I think I should be free. That was like his response. Which kind of made it sound like I don't want to read into it, kind of made it sound though, like he was leaving it open-ended in case he had like other plans that he wanted to do instead. Yeah. Like he didn't want to commit to it. Yeah. So I was like, okay, whatever. The week goes on, the weekend's approaching. I hear not I mean, I hear from him and talking to him, but like nothing about us hanging out. So I'm like, I'm gonna bring it up again. Because this is like the second time that I've like blatantly brought it up. Yeah. And like there's I'm just like, he can whatever. Didn't hear anything about it. So then I kind of got like fed up, I'm not gonna lie. And it was like I saw this TikTok and it was like, stop giving people like attention who very clearly are not like reciprocating.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or whatever. And so I just like he would Snapchat me, and like sometimes we just like we'll snapchat and it's just like pictures, like whatever. And then like a lot of times we have like a full conversation, like over Snap. But he was like Snapchatting me, and I snapchating it back and I wasn't asking him any questions. I wasn't like saying anything, it was just like pictures, okay. He ended up Snapchatting me. I don't remember what day this was, but it was like later at night. So like I so he snapchat me, but I didn't open it because I'd fallen asleep. Yeah. So I wake up the next morning and he had Snapchatted me that night, and it was like like, hey, are you okay or something? And I think it's probably because I wasn't saying anything. Like you left him on red? No, I didn't leave him on red. I just hadn't opened the Snapchat because I fell asleep. So then the morning when I woke up, I saw that what he had Snapchatted me was a picture of him and it was like, Hey, like, are you okay? Was that Saturday or Sunday? No, I think this was like Friday, Thursday or Friday. Oh, before you asked him, like No, this is when I had asked him. I had asked him to hang out like one weekend, and then like the week was going on and he was not bringing it up. And so I was just like not giving him much time.
SPEAKER_00But was this before like he was just like playing video games?
SPEAKER_02I think that was Saturday night, wasn't it, when he was playing video games? Because you had told us. Okay, so then yes. It was before I think it was like Friday into Saturday. Friday must have been like when you fell asleep. Okay, okay, because then you were like, I was kind of being like not short, but like okay, I couldn't remember if I had told you guys this. Oh, but the pod doesn't know.
SPEAKER_01No, yeah, yeah, but I just couldn't remember. Okay, so yeah, so I had like hadn't really said much, and I just thought it was funny that he like picked up on the fact. Because usually it's like if it's just pictures for a while, one of us will like start a conversation because we're not just gonna like do nothing. Right. So so I hadn't said anything, obviously, because I fell asleep. So then I woke up the next day and I just sent him like a picture. I didn't like say anything. Yeah. To his question. Yeah, I didn't say anything. Love that. So he didn't say anything to are you okay? No, it was I love that. It was the next day. That's good. You don't need a shitty. That's good. So then that'd be so hard for me to do. I don't remember what he had. I don't remember the timeline of this, guys. I'm but I think it had to have been like Saturday night. I think it was when you texted us it was Saturday. Oh, I did tell okay. He had made a comment about how he didn't feel well. Yes, but it was Saturday. So like he had sent something about like I think maybe he'd asked what I was doing or something, I was like, nothing. I don't even know. But then it somehow got brought up that he was like, Yeah, I hadn't been feeling well this weekend, like whatever. And I was just like, Oh, that's rough, or something. Like, yeah, I don't know, but I again I could be reading into it, but I almost took it as like he only brought that up because like we didn't hang out, and that was like his way of like getting out of it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Again, guys, I could really be reaching here and just being like, I don't know, like looking for things. But I just like was really irritated by that. So I just like didn't really I think I asked him like what was I I don't even know, but he said he like wasn't feeling well, and I was just like, Oh, okay. And I like didn't give him much after that. Okay. Um so you think that I would just like stop talking to him, but no, we're still here. Still here, we're still hanging. Still here, I literally said, Oh, we're not hanging here, but did you like ever mention like I didn't, and like I should, but at the same time, it's like it's weird because I say that I'm so irritated and like fed up, but yet I'm literally here like playing the game.
SPEAKER_00Well, and also like you've mentioned it a couple of times now that you wanted to hang out with him and that you were free, and so I feel like it's on his court now. Like, if he wants to I've mentioned it, he's mentioned it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like why is it I don't know, and like again, I could be like, Hey, like, are we still hanging out? Like, but then here's the thing. I just feel like I'm gonna say that, and then he's gonna be like, Yeah, like what do you want to do? Just I don't know, plant something, like please. Right. Top golf's a great idea. I heard top golf's great this time of year. Yeah, me too. Ice skating. Oh my god, yeah. But yeah, so I don't know, it's just like guys 13 minutes ago.
SPEAKER_00Speaking of, yeah, but um was the video anything crazy?
SPEAKER_01I fear if I disclose that information, he will know that I'm talking specifically about so I won't say anything, but no, it wasn't. It was it was wholesome. Okay. It wasn't anything crazy. Okay, um, yeah, but yeah, although I feel like he'll know anyway. Whatever. That's fine. Because that's the thing. It's like I I want to like hang out with him.
SPEAKER_02Oh, for sure. I mean, who doesn't? When like when you are talking to someone, it's like, yeah, you want to. But I'm just like, what are we like, what are we doing?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it's like at one point, do you just like give up and be like, you know what?
SPEAKER_02Like And I mean he is like putting a lot of effort to like still talk to you all day, every day. I think that's like the hard thing.
SPEAKER_00Like, if it was like a like But it's makes me question like what are your intentions then?
SPEAKER_01Like Well, my thing is I feel like if his intention was just to like hook up, there's no way he'd be still talking to me for months.
SPEAKER_00But also, like if he wanted to date you, I feel like he would be like, let's go on a date, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because I think this is my only fear, and like I have no room to talk because I'm just as delusional because I'm so delusional. But like my thought process is if like this is how he's already being, and you guys haven't met up, it's like it's hard to be like, what would that look like if we were dating? Because I dated this guy actually that literally lived like two minutes away from me, like when I was in high school, and he was two years older than me, and he always acted like that was the biggest inconvenience. Oh, yeah, and I would be like, When are we hanging out? Oh, I don't know, I'm busy. Why can't you make time for me? Like, and like that is different because I was dating this guy, but like that like was just like okay, so you don't want to see me. Yeah, and that's so different because you haven't met this guy, so but it's just it is weird because I feel like it's weird that he is making the effort to talk to you all day, but like I said, I'm just as delusional, so it's like Yeah, but I think men are delusional, so I think men are men, and also it's like I could I could see in some ways because it's like I could see if maybe he was like, Oh, I don't really know if she like actually likes me.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Or like I'm not into her. Guys, it's been very clearly communicated. That's what I'm saying. Like clearly, I'm into him. Oh yeah, for sure. For sure. I think it's been communicated he's into me.
SPEAKER_00I think it's not you guys are still talking all day. It's not like public. Maybe like as a joke, you should be like, man, like we've been talking since October, and I still like haven't hung out with people.
SPEAKER_02Stop.
SPEAKER_01It's a whole new year.
unknownStop.
SPEAKER_01Stop shut up. But that's what I mean. Like, it should be, I don't know. No, it's hard. So actually, to all of our listeners, if you have any uh any thoughts, advice on that topic, let me know. Let us know. Drop a drop a comment somewhere. We need to open like a a suggestion box. Something. That's what I'm saying. Like just put it on the story and have but I mean, because that will like that will like um disappear.
SPEAKER_02I feel like you've been so I mean we could just read it. Like we could literally do it like 24 hours before we record. Or yeah, you can save it actually. I think there's like a way to scroll. Well, maybe when we upload this, I'll put up something on our story. Yeah, interact with the the viewers.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so just let me know.
SPEAKER_01And honestly, be brutal.
SPEAKER_00I feel like you should like, okay, I think you're giving him a lot of patience because I feel like if it was me. Sammy, don't get stuck. I would just be like, listen, like, either we're hanging out or like I don't know where this is going. Like being completely honest, because it's like, at what point do you just I don't know, like, how long are you gonna wait? That's my thing. The thing is, too. I'm just like, but like also you're so bored, like why.
SPEAKER_02That's no, and I was just gonna bring that up. Yeah, it's not like you're hurting anyone, right?
SPEAKER_00And that I think that's my problem.
SPEAKER_02But yourself.
SPEAKER_00I just don't want you to get hurt and be right.
SPEAKER_02Right. Nothing happens out of it. I mean I hurt my feelings all the time, but but the thing is, like here's the thing though.
SPEAKER_01Like, oh, I don't know. I don't know if we can bring this up. Just say it, we can bleep it. We have that like person that I we know. Yeah. That I like asked if he wanted to go out that one time. And he said, like, no. Uh-huh. And like the thing is, like, I do know who we're talking about. No. I'll bleep it. We're talking Oh, okay. When I like as we getting out, and like he like said no. Yeah. He didn't he was polite, but you know what I mean? He was, he was. But like that, like, guys, guys, I'm a big girl. You can say that I'd like to do that.
SPEAKER_00Wait, why did I not remember this?
SPEAKER_02I don't know if you told Diana.
SPEAKER_00I don't think it's like. It was just like recently.
SPEAKER_02Was it? I didn't tell you. I don't know if you told Diana. That time's so live. Oh my god. How did I not tell Diana this? I don't know. It was like in the fall. I mean, maybe we just like weren't seeing each other much. And it kind of just passed by. We'll circle back after the podcast.
SPEAKER_01But like, and he said no, and like I, guys, I literally like not that I didn't care, but like I, for lack of better words, I like didn't care. Like, it was fine.
SPEAKER_00He just said no.
SPEAKER_01No, like, no, no, no, no. It was like a full conversation. It was fine. But in the end, he said no, but it wasn't like it goes back to just what I mean. Like, I can take it. Like, just be honest. I'm not I'm not gonna sit here and be crazy. I again, guys, I have no room to talk. I'm basically 27. I have no room to talk. It's not like we're in high school and like you're gonna say something I'm gonna be devastated for like the next six months and I'm gonna like so like I'm guys, it's not that deep. No, and that's and that's the thing where it's like I could so then I guess if I'm playing devil's advocate, then it's like Sam, why don't you just ask him?
SPEAKER_02It just it's a really it's tricky. I don't know, but yeah, like even though it's like not like a relationship, but relationships with people are hard. Like yeah, or like communication, I guess. Like I've that's what I've noticed nowadays. It's like the communication of it all, especially with guys. It's the communication.
SPEAKER_01And I'm just like, I don't understand.
SPEAKER_02And it's like, please just say whatever you have to say. Don't be up front. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I know I could come back.
SPEAKER_00I could be more up front, but maybe they're sick and tired of like doing all the work. They're like, I want a woman to like, you know.
SPEAKER_01But then think of how tired we are. Think of how tired we are.
SPEAKER_00But I would just say, like, this generation, I feel like men aren't like men back in the day where they would, you know, pick you up and take you on a date.
SPEAKER_01But I will say though, again, to play devil's advocate on their behalf, I think that social media and like dating apps and like dating culture in general has kind of has kind of like ruined that. Yeah, I think it's the social media of it. I think it's the so again, I also know girls too that then also like it's kind of like ruined it. Like they've kind of ruined it too. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think it's a social media of it all.
SPEAKER_02Because it's like back in the day, if it's like, okay, like you ran into someone you used to date or see, like that's so different, but like now I could post a picture on Instagram and you could be liking it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Or liking my story.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Or even like, I mean, and I do this too, but like if I say I match with somebody, like on say I'm on hinge or something, and I like somebody, I I I'm gonna admit it, I will be deep diving. I will find like your Facebook, I will look if see if you have an Instagram, I will like, or if I what if I go on Instagram and then it shows me like, oh, four people that I know are also following. So then I'm gonna reach out to those people and I'm gonna be like, hey, what do you know? So it's like my first. But then it's like my first impression of that person should be when I meet them, but it's not. My first impression has been all the opinions from other people and what I've seen on social media. On social media. So then it's like I'm going into meeting them with a preconceived idea of what I already think they're gonna be like. Yeah. Right. And I'm not, yeah, like I'm not meeting them. Whereas like if I was just like out and about and some guy came up to me, I'd be like, oh hey, like what's going on? And yeah, there wouldn't even be like a let me check your Instagram or like let me go on your Facebook. It'll just be like, here's my phone number. Nope. And then we'll go hang out. Yep, you start from scratch. Yeah, but I'm not like I'm starting with like a base layer of probably like not great opinions from everybody. Yeah, I have to piggyback off of this. This is my update.
SPEAKER_02Go for it. As long as you're done. No, yeah, I'm done. That was pretty much it. I'm just rambling now. Well, okay, let me start this in a different way, but we're gonna get back to that. Okay. And you guys are aware of this, but like I'm so curious for the audience. Like, what do you take a man liking your Instagram story as? Yes, okay, so everybody that's like my question. I have this guy that recently followed me that I won't say how I know him. Um, he like followed me in the middle of the night, and then every Instagram post except for one, he has liked. And like, I don't get a lot of guys to like my Instagram post. Or let me say, Instagram story. That's a big take. Instagram story post. So he has liked every Instagram story that I've posted except for one. Literally the one of the podcast he just liked. So I asked someone who would know this guy. Okay, and she actually knows his ex-girlfriend. Oh. She told me to stay far away. From the guy? Yes. She said he is very bad news. But so did the ex-girlfriend say this? No, the friend of the expression. The friend of the ex girlfriend. I would listen to that, I think. Oh, I am. No, I think I think if it's a that. I for sure am. Yeah. But it's like, what do I do now? Because like I don't want you to keep liking my stories and like, why are you liking that one on my podcast? I know. I really think I she's like, I actually unfollowed him. Like, he's that bad. I was like, oh. And I have noticed some bad things from you know how like you can see when people like an Instagram reel.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's so telling. That is my other new thing of like trying to. Trying to figure out a man. Seeing what they like on Instagram reels.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_02Ho ho ho. You can find out a lot.
SPEAKER_01Show us a little picture too. Like if you like the post, it has like the little profile picture.
SPEAKER_02Even if they comment on something. Ho. Ho. Uh huh. Crazy. Um, yeah, so that was my update on that. Because I was talking to Sammy about that at the bar. I was like, he just liked my Instagram story. And she's like, okay, what are you gonna do about it? And I thought it was like maybe flirting. And maybe he is just like liking everyone's stories. I could be like reading into this. I don't know any man that does that.
SPEAKER_00I think a guy likes a girl.
SPEAKER_02I think it's another guy that used to like all my Instagram stories. Is it a friend? Like someone like like we were we went to cosmetology school together. Yeah, I mean, like, I think that's Jeff Ren. Like I did have a crush on that guy, but um, yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I think it's either guys like it either in a friendly way or in a flirty way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't think it's like something hitting me up after, and I'm like, oh the only time I've had guys like my Instagram stories that aren't like crazy lady, my brothers have been like in a flirty way.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, no, you know how my that went well too. Yeah. Oh, I will text you. I'm like, what do you want? Well, I won't I don't say that. I'm so Sammy one time maybe text a man who liked my Instagram story and go, Well, well, well. Uh yeah. And I was like, Sammy, I don't even talk like that. And I think he even picked up on that because he was like, Whoop, I forgot about that. Yeah, but that man's still liking Instagram posts and thinking of me the next night. I don't get it. Messaging me in the moment, this man comes back around. But goes back to your thing of like, just tell me you don't like me. Don't don't keep reaching out to me. I think that's where I get so fed up with like dating nowadays, or I don't know what you would even call that. But like the fact that you keep reaching out to me, you keep liking my Instagram stories, and then messaging me the next day. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And you want to see me, and then also another thing kind of piggybacking on Tommy is like I don't even know how I'm gonna say this. Why I don't even like, okay, if you're gonna if you're going to uh like my Instagram stories, and then you're gonna DM me on Instagram, and then you're going to text me, say we should hang out, day of you're then gonna ghost me, and then I'm gonna reach out to you to call you out on being ghosted, then you're gonna reply back and forth a couple times, and then you're gonna ghost me again, and then months down the road, I'm gonna see you in public. You're gonna avoid me like the plague, and then the minute I leave the event, then you're gonna message me on Snapchat and try to talk to me. Please explain to me what you think. Um Is this who I think this is? Are they married? No. Oh no, nothing.
SPEAKER_00Not like it's uh not like that. No That's what I was thinking too, though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't even know if I know you're about to, huh? No, it wasn't. No. No, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I don't wanna sweep it. We'll go back. I will. I don't care. It was like we went to his Halloween party. Oh my god, I forgot about him. I'm just saying, if you're gonna like you specifically you're gonna reach out, and then you specifically are gonna ghost me after you made plans, but then you're gonna ghost me. And then when I call you out on it, then you're gonna ghost me again. I'm gonna see you for like a full couple of hours at an event. And literally the minute I leave the event, you're gonna have the audacity to not even text me, but to message me on Snapchat, even though you fully have my phone number. To message me on Snapchat and tell me that I looked really good and that you'd want to hang out sometime, but you didn't know if if I would want you to come say hi to me. Yeah. I will be petty. I don't care.
SPEAKER_02I mean, you're gonna tell me I look good, I'm gonna reply with, yeah, I know I did. That's like kind of like my situation. Like when I finally was like, What are we doing? It's like what this has been far too long. You're the one reaching out to me. I have not reached out to you in a whole year, but you're the one that has reached out every time in that year. Yeah. And it's like, I tell you how I feel. You're like, oh, let me think about it. I'll get back to you. Like, okay. Still thinking. And then you message me, oh, I'm still thinking. Okay, that's fine. A long thing.
SPEAKER_00A lot of thinking.
SPEAKER_02It's been a month and a half. What are we thinking about? What are we thinking about, babe? It's been that. I just don't get it. Yeah, I haven't heard anything.
SPEAKER_01Oh, jeez. I know. And is it one of those things where it's like What do you want from me? Well, and I know I keep seeing this stuff online where it's I'd want it to. Where people where people are like the the um the more you act like you don't care, the more that they'll try to like pursue you. Why is that a thing?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't even because I feel like to me that's not when I'm posting though. It's not like that I don't care about it. I feel like men in general like girls that are hard to get. Like the ones that don't care, the ones that like I I don't know. I think it's more of like a psychology thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, probably, but I just think it's so irritating. I'm like, why can't I just be like I like you? And then you're like, yeah, I like you too. Can't sing out.
SPEAKER_00Like have a girl and we have that chemistry.
SPEAKER_02So like why do we have that chemistry? But you can't.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think in as the years went on, that's what guys are thinking, and like the easy ones that are just like really upfront about their feelings and stuff, like, oh, I got this girl in the bag, like I can play with her feelings if I want to.
SPEAKER_02But I will say it's like it's the the weird thing to me is it's not like oh, we're hanging out for that reason, and then you're like leaving. Yeah, I think it's hard for me nowadays because these guys like hit you up, it's almost like a hangout, like it is more than like yeah, an hour, you're here, you leave. I just don't understand that. Like, what is our connection? Because we're not friends. No, so like what are we doing? Like, you might say we're friends, but like I don't know what we are.
SPEAKER_00I was in that kind of relationship. Well, I don't know if I would call it a relationship. It was a situation shift, that's what it's called the situation shift for how long? And I was like literally like, oh, we're gonna date, and then we just never ended up dating. And it just sucks.
SPEAKER_02It's the people who got engaged chemistry once after. Yep. I just can't uh and it's the people you have the best chemistry with. I know that's what I don't understand. So it's like, who am I supposed to be with?
SPEAKER_01I know, please. I don't get it. Send me that man. I really don't get it. It's all yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00So it's hard, and I'm so sorry for you guys.
SPEAKER_01But it's also it's also like I mean my phone. If it's like if you're gonna say like then we're not interested, or like you're gonna ghost me or this, that, and the other thing, but then like you're gonna obviously still show that you're interested in some type of way. Then it's like, well, then what's true when they always come back? Or like how you're gonna be able to do it. Because it's like, are they bored too?
SPEAKER_00And that's why they're doing it. Like, might as well.
SPEAKER_01And the thing is, like, I've had people message me before, like on dating apps and stuff, and be straight up and be like, hey, like, I know it says you're looking for this, but like, I'm not, I'm just looking for like a hookup. Like, are you down? And then I'm like, honestly, not really. And then they're like, okay, cool. You could literally say that, and I'd be like, have a great day. Like, that's what I'm saying. Just say it. Just say it. Just say it. Yeah. But I'm sorry, if if if you're if I'm matching with you or something, and it says like long-term relationship or whatever, and you've got like that's what you're looking for, yeah. And then like you match with them, and then they're gonna be like, Oh, I just don't really, I'm not really looking for anything serious right now. What is your definition of long term?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. My other thing I had to update you guys on. Remember when we went to Cooper's Hawk a couple years ago, and it was like I was on hinge again, and my first ever boyfriend matched me on hinge. Like, I think he liked me and then I matched. Yeah. And he like messaged me and he's like, Oh, you look familiar. And I was like, God, I would hope so. We like literally dated. You were my first kiss. He followed me back. Or sorry, he followed me on Instagram last Sunday night. I didn't even know he ever unfollowed me. I've never unfollowed him because it was like a high school relationship. Yeah. I don't think I've ever actually unfollowed anyone on Instagram, boy-wise, besides my longest relationship. Yeah. Um, just because I he did me dirty. Oh, he did me. Yeah. And I don't want to see your stuff. Like we even took each other off Snapchat, like whatever. Right. But yeah, my first ever boyfriend tried to follow me on Instagram. Like, I was like, it's been 10 years, baby. What about doing? He said, Hey. And I'm like, we matched on hinge, like you and I don't know if I'd ever I'd probably never date him again, but I didn't even let him follow me back. Like it's just sitting there in my Oh, is yours yours is private, isn't it? It is private, but I do still follow him. But he has like no pictures of himself, so it's like I can't even see what you look like nowadays. Right. So, but I just think it's always funny.
SPEAKER_01On the note of that, like the following thing. So I So that happened, two different well, same person, but like they had I found out on Snapchat that they had um like blocked me or whatever, because it was gray. Right. And so I looked up what? Who? Um Leepless. What? Again? No, it was a couple years ago. Oh recently. No, but he had oh guys, I have not been like doing the timestamps for this. It's fine. I'll just go to this. Whatever. No, no. It's fine, it doesn't matter, it's fine. I thought about it. It's okay. But um he like had on remove me on Snapchat or something. Okay. And then he had like re-added me because it was like a key notification of like it was like so-and-so added you on Snapchat. And I was like, that's weird, really weird. Like, why'd you remove me in the first place? Whatever. Well, I know why he did, but that's his problem, not mine anyway. So he like removed me. And then on Instagram, he had followed me on Instagram, but the thing is, that's right, I never knew he unfollowed me because my Instagram is public. Like you don't have to request it, which is then also crazy because he could have unfollowed me and then never followed me back again and still seen everything I posted. He wanted to know what you want to look at your stories. I wouldn't can you not see them if you're public? No, you can look at them, but he would see that he saw it. Yeah, but the thing is I wouldn't know that I would just assume it's because he follows me on Instagram.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying.
SPEAKER_01I remember like in high school was a big thing where people would have that one app or something and it would tell you like three people and followed you on Twitter or whatever. I didn't have that. Like, I wouldn't. But the thing is, like, I why did you feel the need to re-follow me if you could have just been sneaking around and not yeah. I don't know, whatever. That's just I thought that was crazy. When you brought up the that was weird. Isn't it funny?
SPEAKER_02It's just like a guy's like brain. Yeah. Oh, I would love that. And like shake it and be like, what are you doing? Well, that's just like that guy I was talking about like earlier in the episode of like he was two years older than me and always thought that was like so weird. Like when he came back in the summer, yeah. Out of nowhere at nine o'clock in the morning on a Friday morning, I'm like on vacation and you're like texting me a paragraph. I'm like, I have not talked to you in like eight years.
SPEAKER_00I mean, so for real. I'll even ask Noah because like I tell him everything, you know? Because, you know, this happened to Taylor, this happened to Sam. Like, what do you think about this? Like, you're a dude. Like, what do you think? I'll ask my brothers. I'm like, guys, I need some guy advice. And then Noah, I don't know. It's weird that they do that. Yes. And I'm like, maybe you're just normal. I don't know. Like, I'll ask my brother's stuff sometimes, and they're like, I don't know. I'm like, guys, you're not helping at all. Noah would literally be like, I don't know, like, I don't know why they would do that, or like, I don't know. I, you know, never in that situation. And it's like, yeah, like I guess.
SPEAKER_02I feel like anytime like I've asked a guy's friend, because like a lot of the guys I have dated or been with, like, it was like a setup from like someone else. So like if I've asked like a guy friend, like, why is your friend like this? Yeah, they're like, I don't know, he's just weird. I'm like, Do you just like that? That's just him. That's just him. I'm like, you're giving me nothing to watch, right? Like, because then I'm like spiraling even more. I'm like, yeah. I don't like like I'm a spiraler. Like, I'm happy the first day after. Yeah. Oh, I'm downhill. It's terrible.
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_02And I just I just want to know why.
SPEAKER_01I'm also not those people who can talk to like seven different people at the same time.
SPEAKER_02No, me either. Like, if I'm talking to one person, I'm not going on hinge. And by and by talking to, I literally mean like just messaging, like not even like meeting up with and talking to.
SPEAKER_01Oh no. If I'm literally just like messaging you, that's like literally it. I've been locked in with this guy. Yeah. And and the thing is too, like, locked in, but not even in the sense of like I can see our whole future. Oh, just like that's just where my energy is, and I just do not have enough to be like talking to 17 years old people. For sure. Um, for sure. But it's annoying because then it's like, well, I've been talking to this guy for months. Yeah. And again, I think that is the tricky thing. But and again, like, that's on me because there's he's not saying it can't talk to anyone else. It's just like me personally. I'm like, I cannot be. I can't be talking to other people. But then again, it's like Sam. Then get the show on the road because like, what are we doing?
SPEAKER_02I know. We're only getting older.
SPEAKER_00Don't remind me. I know, I'm sorry. Don't remind me. I know. Let's look at this, right? You guys might get married around the time I get married, right?
SPEAKER_01That's the plan.
SPEAKER_00Dude, we can have kids when we all have kids gonna be married.
SPEAKER_02Spencer and Gus, Gus, just No, it's not. No, I feel like some magical man is gonna be.
SPEAKER_01My mom always says she's like never had like a boyfriend or like relationship, like dated anyone besides like seventh grade. Does it not count? Yeah. My mom's always like, Sam, I feel like you're just the next person like you date. Yeah. Or the first person you date is gonna be the person you married. Diana has always said that. I feel like Diana's been like, Sam, we'll get married first. Yeah. I would just love for that to happen before I'm I don't know, 36. I would just love to for that to happen.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. I don't know. We just gotta get back out there. I don't know how.
SPEAKER_00I think it'll happen when you guys least expect it. It's usually what I say.
SPEAKER_02People say that. And I am just like, I'm never expecting it.
SPEAKER_01That's the problem. In fact, I'm so far away from expecting it that like I might as well be expecting it.
SPEAKER_02That's like the weird thing. Like when these guys do come back, I'm not expecting any guy to show up. But like, yeah, you're coming back into my life, and I'm like, Yeah, I wasn't expecting like literally your name's on my phone and I'm like in pure shock. I'm like, huh? Yeah. But then they're ghosting you. Yeah, they can't even remember why. And it's like, oh you reached out to me first. You reached out to me first. You were thinking about me first, you reached out to me first. I don't understand. I don't get it. What do you want from me? Guys, if there's any guys listening. Or if there's any girls with really cute, whatever, single brothers. I love seeing those TikToks where it's like, someone please give me a sister-in-law. Dude, I'm like, Yeah, I'm right here. Literally anything, guys. Well, not anything, that was or oh, I would love this. Does not have to be on this episode, but I would love to go. Like a year ago, I think I texted you about like making a podcast about like being single and like what people say to you as being single. And oh yeah, I think it's always like so funny. They're like, You're just so beautiful. Like, I just don't understand. Thank you. What do you want me to say to that? Because like I don't know. Like, I don't know. It's not like I'm not trying, it's not like I don't know. It's just hard. It is hard. One time I told Sam this last year. I was at one of my friends' baby showers, and this lady I had like literally met at the baby showers, her and her daughter sitting next to her. Her daughter's my age, she literally says to me, the mom says this to me, she goes, Well, if you didn't meet anyone in high school, you're never gonna get married. What?
SPEAKER_00Right, that's not real.
SPEAKER_02Because your daughter had a high school sweetheart, she was just one of those lots of people. So much. So let's like me personally, if I was still dating someone from high school, I've grown so much as a person. Yeah, I would not be the same person, and that's for me to say. Yeah, but I literally I remember I sobbed the whole way home, that whole night. I like literally went into like a spiral because I was like, one, who says that to someone? And like, two, like, I just met you. Someone unfricking realistic.
SPEAKER_00That's not real. Musical tweet hearts is like literally one percent of people, and even then, sometimes they'd sure get married, but then something happens along the road.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and it's just like it really broke my heart that that's what you think is how society's supposed to be.
SPEAKER_01No, no, heck no. Yeah, the last I think the last thing, well, that's not true.
SPEAKER_00I was like the last thing I was doing in high school was like trying to find someone to date, but like so it's just like I'm a different person from now till I was like literally in my early 20s or mid-20s. Fresh minute to senior of high school, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like you just completely different. I feel like the day I turned 26, it was like I literally my brain hurt, like my frontal lobe was developed. Like I tell all the young girls that at work, I was like, literally, the front of my brain hurt. Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And again, like the high school sweetheart thing, like, sure, I do know people that were high school sweethearts and they're married, but I also know people who are high school sweethearts and they dated for so long and they broke up and they ended up marrying different people, like if it works for you, it works for you.
SPEAKER_02That's great.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But it was just like crazy. Yeah, my friend's bright baby shower. Did I say bridal shower? I meant baby shower. Baby shower. Okay, good. But it was just like, huh? Like, okay, whatever. Right. She can go fly a kite. She sorry, can you? That's a tea. Is that like an is that like a like a see you next Tuesday? No, I don't think so. Oh, it just go fly a kite. Yeah. Okay. She can go fly a kite. I think she's like, you can go like thanks for the clarification. I was like, oh, you can go bye bye.
SPEAKER_01Bye-bye. You can go bye bye. Bye-bye. But um, yeah. I don't know. So yeah, that's that's literally should I open the Snapchat on on air? Oh, so I wanted to ask you how your rave went. Oh my rave. Okay, let's just do that because I know it's just gonna be wait, no, please open. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you can reply but it's like oh hey. It's literally just a picture of him. Let me see. Wow. Oh, he did get a haircut.
SPEAKER_01Oh sorry. He's chopped. It was so funny when he said he was chopped.
SPEAKER_00I was like, oh he's chopped, Jack. Wait, what does he mean by chopped?
SPEAKER_02Oh. No, he just meant because he needed a haircut. Oh, okay. Um, I'm gonna start using that in the salon. You're chopped. If you if I went in on my haircut and you say I'm chopped, I'm getting up, I'm walking out. You just told me at your next haircut you're not talking to me. So, guys, how funny.
SPEAKER_01So Taylor cuts my hair. Imagine like next time I go, I just do a silent appointment and I just wait for her friends that work there to be like, what's wrong with Sam?
SPEAKER_02No, it's like it's like you talk to all my like friends and co-workers that work but besides Taylor. But me. I'm like, hey, can you let Taylor know that I need like another like inch cut off?
SPEAKER_00Can you take Taylor know that I just need like a cup of tea, please? Oh my god, oh but the rave.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the rave was so I went to the thank you. You're welcome.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you yeah. Thank you. Yeah, you slaves.
unknownThank you.
SPEAKER_02I was like, how is this not on her main feed? I went to the I might. I was gonna post some pictures of it. Like a dump.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yes. But um, I went to the Heat of Rivalry rave with I went with Alyssa and Robin and Allie and Kate. Wow. Went to the rave and um it was so much fun. It started at the doors opened at eight, it started at nine, and it ended at midnight. How fun. Ended at midnight, yeah. It was so fun. We ended up, it was all general omission. We ended up like on the floor. Okay. Um, maybe like six rows off of like the main stage. Nice. Wow. But we were kind of on the side and we didn't plan on this, but the side was like where if they were calling, they'd be like, Oh, we need 10 people who were really big fans of like whatever artists they were gonna be playing their music, like, come up here and dance, and they would call people up, but the way you'd get up the stage was right by where we were standing. Okay. So like my friend Allie like went up on stage. Yeah. They're just like calling people up. It was fun. But um, it was so much fun. They did it was like clips of heated rivalry and like edits that people made like TikTok edits. And so, say it was like an edit to like a Tate McRae song, then it would be the edit mixed with like the music video. Oh it would just be like the music video mixed with scenes of the show, and then I think at some points they just played like full scenes of the show. That sounds fun. At the rave, it was so much fun. They had like a little photo booth.
SPEAKER_00Nice.
SPEAKER_01That was great. Dead coat check, checked my coat, got a little water. Nice. I had a liquid death. I never had a liquid death, which is water, but what flavor? Literally just regular still water. Oh, okay, got a sparkling. Okay. But it was fun. Yeah, it was nice. How long did it go? Till? Till midnight. Okay. And then shout out to Zach, Melissa's fiance. He drove us there and picked us up.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's so nice. And then we got Taco Bell on the way home. What'd you get? What's your order?
SPEAKER_01Oh should we end on our taco ball orders?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Okay, okay. The first time it was like a golf order.
SPEAKER_01Um my taco order is a crunch wrap supreme with no sour cream. Oh. And like a sided chips and cheese. Okay. But if I'm not getting the crunch wrap, I'm gonna get a cheesy Gordita crunch with no Gordita sauce. And then like a sided chips and cheese. Okay. Sometimes I'll get like a Dorito's look with Taco.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, that's my order.
SPEAKER_00Um, I don't really go to Taco Bell. Alright. Right. Okay. Uh but I honestly don't even remember the last time I had Taco Bell. I had a phase where I was always eating it. But it just doesn't like I don't crave it ever. But if I were to go, if I were to go, it I like the Crunch Wrap Supreme with everything. I love the sour cream. I love sour cream. Me too. Oh, it's so good. I love sour cream. And then like the taco with like the Dorito shell. Doritos Locos taco. Yeah. That one was good too. Um, but that's it for me.
SPEAKER_01It's a good order.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's a sort of a good frozen Baja Blast sometimes.
SPEAKER_00I never had I never get drinks from Taco Bell. Never had a Baja Blast. It's very rare that I do.
SPEAKER_01I'm getting a Baja Blast Freeze.
SPEAKER_00I never had one. They're pretty good. They are good. They're good when I wasn't at Pops though. Yeah, it's Mountain Dew. Yeah. Yeah. I don't like Mountain Dew. That's probably why. It's Baja Blast Mountain Dew, though. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Alright. Anyway. It would kind of taste probably like a Jackery.
SPEAKER_00You know. When I first had Mountain Dew, it was at Culver's. I never had Mountain Dew until then. And I was like, I don't really drink pop like that either, but yeah. I was like, I was like wondering what the rave was about Mountain Dew when I tried it.
SPEAKER_01I was like, I'll tell you what the Baja Blast is like way better. It is I believe it. I believe it.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Taylor? Taylor. Um mine is normally Crunch Wrap. Everything on it. Um if I'm being a big back, like if it's like a night out, we're stopping everything. Oh yeah. Literally. One of everything. After the Halloween party, I literally stopped at Taco Bell and I was a big back. I literally got a Crunch Wrap Supreme and a cheese quesadilla.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I do like their quesadilla too. I like the sauce. I don't like I don't like the sauce.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I love sauce. I'm a sauce girly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then once in a great while, the nacho fries. I've never had their nacho fries. You guys are missing out. Or the cinnamon. Those are bomb. Bring back the cards. I forgot about those. I've never had one of those.
SPEAKER_00Those are bombs.
SPEAKER_02Is it like a McDonald's apple pie? It's so much better. Oh. It's so much better. It's like a half circle. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I've seen them. It's really crazy. They brought it back when they did like the decades menu and then they got rid of it.
SPEAKER_02That's really sad. I haven't had Taco Bell, I think, since Halloween.
SPEAKER_01I I don't even remember the last time. Two weeks ago. But with the wreath. And the wedding. Your crunchy taco. Oh, I thought it wasn't a crunch. Oh, I might have thought it was a soft taco. Sorry about that.
SPEAKER_00Do you guys like soft or hard tacos more? Soft. I think I like hard tacos. I like the crunch.
SPEAKER_01Probably a hard taco. Really?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like the crunch.
SPEAKER_01I do too. I like I I very rarely will eat something that doesn't have like a crunchy texture in it.
SPEAKER_00But you like soggy things, so it makes sense that you like soft tacos more. Yeah. That's okay. I still eat a soft taco, but I think.
SPEAKER_02There's so many innuendos to be said. Um I think that's why I like the crunch wrap though, because it is the mix. You get it's the butter. Two.
SPEAKER_01Chicago Dita Crunch, same soft, but then the hard shot.
SPEAKER_02I've actually never had that, but I would like that. I never had that. I don't explore my Taco Bell. If I like one thing, I like one thing. Yeah, you keep ordering.
SPEAKER_00You would love the Chis Gordita Crunch.
SPEAKER_02I would love it. Um, but like I never rarely order just like a taco from Taco Bell. Unless someone's getting like a 12-pack for like we get it sometimes. But yeah, with like changing my orders, like my Chipotle order has been the same since I I was like literally an eight-year-old eating one of those big ass burritos. I would literally house a whole burrito.
SPEAKER_01I never had a burrito from Chipotle. I always have a bull. Sometimes I knew a burrito. I'd rather have a burrito. I love a burrito. Burrito. I'm a cutoba girl. I was always a cutoba girly. No. Kodoba.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, Chipotle. Chipotle doesn't have ground beef. And I like ground beef.
SPEAKER_01I will say when I go to Chipotle, I don't get, I get a veggie bowl, I don't get beef on it. I don't get any meat on it. It kind of stresses me out. I don't know. So you usually eat a bowl with no ground bees?
SPEAKER_02I get the veggies. Oh, I don't get the veggies. See, I'm telling you. Oh, okay. I was eight and I didn't like veggies. Well, I liked veggies.
SPEAKER_01It's like my sister broccoli. I'm gonna roast my sister real quick. She goes, she doesn't like Chipotle. She goes to Qoba. She gets a bowl and she gets white rice. Okay. Like extra queso. Okay. Chicken, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
unknownSour cream.
SPEAKER_02Is that like the worst order I've heard?
SPEAKER_01Is that a bowl? Yeah, it's literally just like all everything that's like beige colored. That's what she's eating.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I don't know. My I guess everything that she would put, yeah. And I put guac though. I love guac. I love guacks. I do like guac. Oh, the source. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01They don't charge you.
SPEAKER_02Guac on a patio. At work?
SPEAKER_01At Chipotle? Like the veggie bowl? They don't charge you for guac. Oh my god, I might have to change my order. Guys, don't quote me on that, but I'm that's how it used to be. That's how it used to be. That's crazy. But I will say in college, I like always ate Qdoba because on Wednesdays we called it, me and Kate called it Doba Dash. Okay. But you could do a chicken burrito or a bowl. Okay. And it was like $6.50 and it came with a drink and chips.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's a good deal.
SPEAKER_01So you would do that. But I would just wake a chicken. And then one time I went and they're like, well, it's the bowl. I'm like, well, I'm not gonna eat the chicken. Like last time I like, I would just not get the chicken. Technically, you're saving money by not giving me the chicken. Yeah. I never understand that. Why people give you a hard time to get it? And I'm like, okay, well, can you put it on the side? They're like, no. I'm like, what do you mean no? That's crazy. Because I would just put it like in because one time they did put it on the side, because I said didn't want it, and they just like misunderstood. So I put it on the side, I just gave it to Kate. Yeah. But one time they're like, you can't. I'm like, okay, well, can you put it all like in one section so I can throw it away when I get home, I guess. I don't understand why. I gave it to Kate. But yeah. I don't ever understand. They're like, you're making my job complicated. Can you not?
SPEAKER_02I'm saving you money. I just want to get it.
SPEAKER_01Literally, I'm like, I don't want the chicken and I don't want to waste it. Like, I don't want to get it and then not eat it, and it's a waste of chicken.
SPEAKER_02And that was for the $6.50 thing?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So it's like, charge me it. That's what I mean.
SPEAKER_01That's what I mean. I'm not asking you to knock a dollar off. Like, I'm already getting a deal. Yeah. I just don't want the chicken.
SPEAKER_02Like, I'm paying the price.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't know. That was crazy.
SPEAKER_02That's insane. That is crazy. Oh, that was a way to end on a high.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Really? We went through a lot. We did. That was a good one. That was good. Guys, proud of us. Amazing.

SPEAKER_01Guys, before we press record, we literally just sit here and like yap with our headphones. Well, Dan doesn't have headphones on. She's she prefers the no headphone. But we just sit here with our microphones and just chit-chat.
SPEAKER_02But I think at one point I was like, are we already recording? And you're like, no. I was like, no, I'm just here. You're like, can we yap? We're just here.
SPEAKER_01But um, yeah. So thanks for listening to another episode. Yeah, thank you guys. Who knows? Who knows what we're gonna talk about next week?
