This week we talked about awkward (almost) run-ins with people from our past, our upcoming trip to Florida, and someone on the pod has a new boyfriend?!

Okay, little bit of backstory for anybody that doesn't know, which means you didn't listen to episode one, so you guys are fake. But basically, Carmel is like she completes our little group over here. Yeah. But she moved to Florida and she abandoned us, so that's why the podcast has a three-piece.

We'll just talk about the good stuff. Yeah, okay. So I texted Sam because I made a last-minute decision that I wanted to come to Michigan, and I texted her and was like, hey, see you next week. And then she let me know that you guys were doing your podcast and trying to decide what day. And I was like, you need to push for Friday. So that was.

Yeah, I worked Thursday, so there was no way we were doing Thursday.

It was always gonna be Friday. So then we concocted the plan to surprise people.

Yeah, and I was like, wait, don't tell anyone. Yeah. And let's just have me show up.

The way that Carmel and I have been like giddy, like little children. Oh my gosh, like I'm gonna be. So excited. I was like telling my mom, I was like, mom, you'll never believe it. I was like jumping up and down. She's like, that was the best surprise ever. Yeah, I still can't get over it. So me and so I had to pick up Carmel and then we like walked around Target a little bit because I was waiting, I was stalking Diana's location to get to Taylor's house, and we had like Carmel had her location off, and we had this whole plan. We were like, okay, they cannot find out that Carmel's here. Like, they can't. We had like what, maybe like 35-40 minutes to kill, and we were so on edge. I was in Target. I'm like, we're gonna blow it. Someone's gonna see us.

Yeah, and then we're sitting in the car, just like just like moving all over. Like, I feel like I can't stop moving.

We were so excited, and then so I like brought all the podcast stuff in to Taylor's, and I was like, Oh, I forgot my like food in the car, I'm gonna go grab it. And then I went out there, guys. I walked out of Taylor's building and I literally was like doing an Irish jig demo freaking starting. I was like, oh, here she is. And Carmen, meanwhile, Carmel was laying down in the backseat of my car on the off chance that like Diana was still in the parking lot. It was so funny. And then I walked in, I was like, I brought like as like a special delivery and walked Carmel. And here we are. It's crazy. Now we're here. We're here. And then we're gonna be in Florida in two weeks from today. Literally just crazy. Also wild.

No, I would have never expected. Also, like I turned my location off before I even got to the airport. So I was like, what if they see like my last location? Oh. And it shows I was at the airport, and they'd be like, I still probably wouldn't have thought twice about it.

Okay, because like you could have gone anywhere. And I also like check the locations probably like once a day. Yeah.

I'm not constantly on it. I only looked today because I was wondering if you were already at Middle Eats. Oh, okay. And so then it said your location was like no location found. I was like, oh, she must be like in a dead zone.

And I only looked at it to see if Sam was at your house already or not. Like I because I hate running behind, like I always am. And I was like, oh, she's still uh cute up a perfect. And then I saw Carmel said, not available, and I'm like, well, whatever. Like, didn't even think anything about it.

Yeah, I yeah, me too. I go through phases. I don't have many people's location. But like the people that I have, I'm like, you're not where you usually are.

There's so many things I've like been wanting to text you guys, and I literally have just been holding video silent because I'm like, no, I'm gonna see you guys.

I was gonna see if you guys wanted to go, but then I was like, oh, I can't, because what are we gonna talk about? We have to be radio silent. We would just have sat there and that silence. So I didn't, but here we are. But here we are. Now live in action. Also, I'm gonna realize we never did our like red flag, green flags of the week. Oh, we do red flag, green flag. I don't think we can remember the first episode. We did it twice. I think we did it literally twice. Yeah. But like we should do one today. I don't know if I have a red flag. I have a green flag. Is your green flag that we're going to Florida? No, but like that's like a universal green flag, I think. Yeah. Oh that I would say everybody's green flag.

Right, just in general. Um, my new year resolution was to be better at shopping. And um Well, you're really good at it. So I mean, yeah, it's still an addiction that I haven't gotten over yet. That's okay. You know, it's okay. It's like every day I'm like, hmm, what should I buy next?

Before I knew the Target thing was coming out. Oh. But I heard that the Target mark mock knacks were not that great material. I heard they were different. Yeah. There's no way they could be. Right. It's for $45. It has to be something wrong. Yeah. Yeah. So that's my red flag. It's just an investment.

And you know what? You wear like all your days. 100%. I buy a lot of clothes and I I've learned I've worn the same sweatsuit probably like every day after work this week.

Noah was outside the other day. Like was he watering the plants? No, I think he was like on his phone. He was like bent over. I don't know what he's doing. And I was about to be like, hey, but I didn't. I also saw him. He was changing like your dad's tire or something one day.

Yeah. Oh yeah, him and my dad are something else. Anyway, I saw the garden. It's yeah, so I it's a new skill I'm acquiring and that I've been loving. Um I wasn't a green thumb until just now. So we do have tomatoes, we have cucumbers, we're gonna grow some corn, peppercini. Corn. Okay, corn. Um all herbs, like cilantro, mint, like anything you could think of.

We expanded my garden. We like digged up the grass, like half our backyard is probably all garden right now. Oh, watermelon. Whoa. Squash. Like anything you could think of. I'm so sorry, it's gonna be sucking my throat. Yeah, it was like really cold and windy and rainy. And that was when she died, and then on that Saturday, and then on Sunday when we buried her, it was like so nice out on Sunday. And I was just like, this was all meant to be. But yeah, so she's she's buried there. We have some flowers right now. We're gonna get better flowers and like put them on. Yeah. Because then we can see it from the kitchen window. So that was my red flag. Sorry if that was took a turn. Green flag. I got a promotion at work. What?

Or I think she had said she was gonna bring some, and I brought like one little bag of something, and then she literally just had like a sandwich. I think we should be allowed to, their snacks are expensive. Yeah, what am I paying? I remember I had to buy um one of the last times I flew back from Florida. I had like a crazy headache in the airport, and I literally had to buy like motion or something at the airport. Dude. It was like what, 20 bucks? Yeah, yeah. For like six little pills. I was like, okay, cool, cool, cool.

Dude, Rodney is Carmel's dad, and he wanted a um like a lion's flag. That was like the Meyer exclusive one. Yeah. And I and they were last time they were in Michigan, I think your dad was in Michigan for something, and he didn't check for the flag. So now I was like, well I'll see. They had it, and I shifted to him, and he sent me a gift card and a card. Oh and it was like, thank you so much for the flag. It came just in time for me to rep my lion's pride for Turkey Day. And then included was like was a picture of the flag, but it was like But like it wasn't a picture of the flag. He took it from their front yard, but like the side like gate was like fence was closed and it was hanging like in the back, and so half the flag was cut off. And it was like a picture of the fence. It was lovely. It was like the grainiest photo. But anyway, I found it yesterday and it made me laugh. I was like, what a guy.

My dad's been printing out some well when Keith went to boot camp. Yeah, he would send him like a different like inspirational quote that he printed out on like a photo paper, like every single day. That was weird too. I don't know what it was. Yeah, I know. But he would send them every day. Keith had to be like, Dad, can you stop? Because they make me do like however many sets of push-ups for every piece of mail I get.
