Oh boy. Oh boy, oh boy, guys. I'm not gonna lie. Frank needs to get here soon. That episode of Amazing Digital Circus, I have so many things to talk to him about. I can't wait. He knows he's also brought up a few other indies that he wants to talk about. So I need him to get in here because this is getting a little bit insane. Like Danny! Frank, the episode. The episode. What episode? Amazing Digital Circus. I just finished the last episode. One to go.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. Yeah, there's so much to talk about there. And they're already dropping teasers for the next one.
SPEAKER_02Oh, are they? I haven't even seen the teasers on the next one yet.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'll have to I'll have to show it to you here in a second. But uh hey, you got something to drink real quick?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, absolutely. What you looking for?
SPEAKER_04Uh, you got Dr. Pepper on tap.
SPEAKER_02Uh, yeah, I still have a Kego in the back, I believe. Let me go ahead and check. Yeah, right here. And go ahead and get that poured for you.
SPEAKER_04Now man, it's been a while, man. I haven't seen you in a bit.
SPEAKER_02No, I know. What do you think of the tavern? It took a little while to uh get it going.
SPEAKER_04You know, the uh the inside's nice, but you know, the I heard talk in town and they mentioned the hole in the wall restaurant, and I didn't expect there to be actually two holes in the wall.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I had some uh patrons on my opening day that are a little bit uh eccentric. We'll use that word. Uh I'm currently in the process of looking for uh some contractors to come by and get me some quotes on what it'll take to fix those holes.
SPEAKER_04Oh man. Uh I know a couple guys. Uh let me let me get some business cards for you. Uh but hey, in the meantime, uh so you you were mentioning Digital Circus. Uh let me did you ever watch that movie that came out a while back in like uh I think it was February from uh Markiplier. Oh, are you talking about Iron Lung? Yes, I'm talking about Iron Lung. I loved that movie, it was amazing.
SPEAKER_02I never got to watch it personally, but I heard about it, and like the things I heard were kind of crazy. The big one was the fact that they had to shut down the top charts just so they could remove it before it took first.
SPEAKER_04Yes. Um, I think it was Sam Raimi's film, can't remember the name of it, but uh you know, I think Hollywood was mad. Ah, no small YouTuber creator is gonna knock Sam Raimi from number one. And he did it actually. He did it for two days, Saturday and Sunday, which I watched it on Saturday, so I actually contributed to that. But I have no no problem giving my money to Markiplier because he treated his staff insanely well and he did an incredibly good job on the film.
SPEAKER_02Well, I mean, what's even crazier from because I did a little bit of research looking into it because I'm not I was never a big Markiplier guy uh growing up. I uh I was watching more like Jekyll Conroy Let's Plays and stuff like that. But when I was doing some of the research into uh what was happening and how this was working, I ran across the fact they was supposed to be, I think, a limited theatrical release of like 17 theaters. And it was the fans who demanded they were calling theaters, they were calling uh anyone they could to demand they get Iron Lung in until it was a nationwide release. Every theater, I think, just about had it.
SPEAKER_04Uh, it wasn't just nationwide, it was international. A lot of them in, I believe, the UK and especially in Australia. Australia dominated the charts over there, I heard. But I think it was projected to be 18 theaters turned into 3200, if I remember correctly. And then he also mentioned multiple times, even on his podcast, Distractable, uh, during Smalltalk, that Regal was the biggest supporter. And I do remember that because I was talking about some uh 3D printing a bucket of popcorn just to be able to get free popcorn because they had the code with the ticket for it, the file.
SPEAKER_02No, I mean it's incredible to think that a YouTuber was able to create a movie, not only create a movie, but like make a good movie, right? Because again, I haven't seen it, but it's based off uh one of the video games that he plays a lot, isn't it?
SPEAKER_04Uh not what he played a lot, it was based off of the game from D I'm gonna butcher his last name, David's the skin, uh something like that. It was based off of the Iron Line game that was a game specifically made for Markiplier to make into a movie. And it started over a to I think it was a Twitter DM again, another thing he mentions indistractable, um from what I've heard from his mouth. Uh he always wanted to be a director. This is something that's been known for years. Um, if you remember seeing, not you know, watching it personally, I loved In Space, but uh a date with Markiplier, a heist with Markiplier, uh uh there was a couple other ones. Something about the Warfash, Mystery of Warfash, and uh In Space with Markiplier as well, uh, which was a two-parter, and I actually took part in watching it. Fucking fantastic. If you want a 10 out of 10 Martiplier film, watch In Space. It's an interactive one. It's a 10 out of 10, it's perfectly funny and tragic at the same time. Um, but Iron Lung, I don't think Iron Lung will ever be seen as more than an 8 out of 10 by anybody. It's like perfectly there because of how the pacing works. Um, to not spoil it too deep, not that like you know it it hasn't been out for a while, and the only people that have seen it, you know. Um outside of the whenever they come to home because it's going too soon, the pacing's gonna be real slow. If anybody in listening on the other end of this wants to watch it and they get the physical copy of it, including muting, when you get your hands on it, just know the first half of the movie is slow, it's a slow burner. They do that on purpose because they build a lot of suspense. You get until about the last 30 minutes of the movie, and it is the best theatrical, just the best cinematography I've ever seen. And just the most gruesome movie I have ever seen. I'll have to keep for it. Listen, all I'm saying is you you will ask yourself for about an hour and a half, why is this the number one blood movie? And then the last 30 minutes kindly explains it to you by showing just the sheer amount, just the sheer amount. Um, but it's a it's a beautiful movie. It it is, uh, even down to its story and its core of like it being like the quiet rapture and like the biblical references and everything. It's just a beautiful movie, and I wouldn't rate it any higher than an eight, but it comfortably sits at an eight. I don't think you could argue for it to be a seven or a nine out of ten.
SPEAKER_02That's fair, and that's from somebody who's seeing it. So now uh, do you think we'll see other YouTubers start to follow this trend? Now that Markiplier has set the uh stones, and it's like, hey, a YouTuber, if you have the ability and capability, like do you think we'll see Mr. Beast try and do this down the road?
SPEAKER_04I think Mr. Beast will do it just for the views. I mean, it's inevitable. He's he has more money than God.
SPEAKER_02He's how much does he make I made a one dollar movie, a one hundred dollar movie, a one thousand dollar movie.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah. I I mean it's a three million dollar movie, and as of just folding, and I think as it will stand right now until the physical copies come out, I think he made about 50 mil. I think the projected was 48 mil uh for like roundabout what he made in the box office. But it it's it's insane. He well droop almost templed his budget, I think, actually. But he no, sorry, he made it well over 10,000 ten times the amount. Uh I think it was I think the exact number so three times. I think it's gotta be like 12 times the amount, maybe even more. Like it's insane. Not only the best part about it too is if you look at the set, his like catering was insane. He his staff was well paid. They got bonuses when he got the m extra money from from the studios and the um the uh other theaters and stuff that were showing the movie when he got all those checks and he got bonuses. He pushed him right down the chain, and everybody else got bonuses. You know, he's right, he's changing people's lives that are part of that small studio. Like, we're talking like cars worth of money, like$28,000, just every person bonuses. That is nice. He's he's a great guy. For what I've heard, is I've heard no negative interactions from Markiplier, like ever. He's like the one person that they tried to cancel a million times, and a forever memeable person, they'll just never get rid of him unless he you know does anything that a Minecraft YouTuber does when he's not playing drunk Minecraft and he plays legitimate series on Minecraft. Just gotta stay away from that, you know. Uh with how it's gone in the last six years with those YouTubers. Um I digress. I think it's amazing. I think uh Jack Septichai was mentioning something about maybe wanting to make a movie. So I think that him and maybe other people are gonna be more inclined to make movies now because it's it's a real possibility. Yeah, it's expensive right now with the whole AI bubble thing, which we'll get to that down the road.
SPEAKER_02Um but we we didn't bump an episode for any reason, we promise.
SPEAKER_04We didn't bump an episode for today's topic, which is glitch and indie films in general.
SPEAKER_02Oh real quick, just speaking on the glitch stuff, did you hear what was going on with Gooseworks?
SPEAKER_04Well, what part of it? The Reddit part where they basically got told off of Reddit that ah no, you can't have these characters, the ones that you wrote in your plot, to be the main characters, the main characters. I want my favorite character to be the main character, and because you said it won't be, I'm gonna go ahead and yell at you and say that actually you're wrong. And literally ran her off of Reddit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, for for context, on a live stream, Gooseworks um was talking and she brought up that hey, out of the main cast, Pomney and Jax are the two main characters of the show. Which I still am like, I think they're all kind of main characters, but at the same point, I the creator is telling us like this is in her opinion, the way the story is written, these are the two main characters. The Ragatha fans got upset because they think Ragatha should be the third main character, because she's had some character development, especially going into the newest episode, which we will talk about. Oh my goodness. Um But I don't know, like they she took a lot of backlash just for saying that uh they were that they were two main characters, and it wasn't the main characters that the fans wanted.
SPEAKER_04Which I think is absurd to tell a director, oh no, the thing that you wrote is actually wrong. It's it's what it's what I want as the fan, the consumer of the product. Um, I I want this to be the thing, which is not that's not how it works. I don't I don't think people realize that's that's not how real life works, you know. Like, I I'm I'm gonna use the word you you fu you guys are pretty much chuds, bro.
SPEAKER_02Like well, I mean throughout the whole situation, too, it led to her deleting her Reddit and her Twitter initially to just get away from it.
SPEAKER_04Which is not even that, she's never reinstalling Reddit, and she doesn't want to touch the entire fandom with a 10-foot pole on the show because of the situation, which is terrible. I think it's awful. Because two things, like monetarily, that show is gonna rake money for glitch and especially for Goose, which you know, she'll get most of the profits because of how glitch works, I believe. Where I think they I don't know, I think their profits are split fairly even, uh, which is good. That's why I do like about glitch. Uh, is that they're not, you know, just taking on people and saying, ooh, give me all the money, big Amazon or Netflix, you know, stealing all the profit from everybody. But uh they lose a lot of potential with marketing and stuff like that because of just how hostile the fan base is, which sucks because like I'm a die hard fan of that series. I've been following it since the pilot. I thought it was really cool when I looked at the pilot, and I've been following it for a few episodes, and I became a huge fan of it. And you know it's not like being uh you know a Vivzi pop fan where it's like you know, the whole show is toxic, and so is the entire fan base around it. It's just it's trying to portray a really beautiful story on an adaptation from a book, which I believe I have no mouth, but I must scream, if I remember correctly. Um, and which it's an amazing story. Dare I say the amazing story, the amazing digital circus, if you will. And I'm loving the story so far, which we'll get to the episode here shortly.
SPEAKER_02But I mean, I do wonder if this is just a a circum or a situation of circumstances, because I think ultimately we've seen in the past 10-15 years fan bases as a whole have gotten more and more toxic. And it's not even that everyone who's a fan of anything is a toxic person, but the thing is, is the toxic ones are typically louder. Like I know I'm a fan of the Ruby franchise, but the fan base can be real bad, and I know many people that won't even approach the Ruby series because they know the loud fans are a lot.
SPEAKER_04I gotta I I I got a good equivalent um on the gaming half of it, because you know I'm more of a hardcore gamer than you, Danny. Sorry to say, uh, but uh one that we can all relate with fucking Undertale man, the AU's and just like, ah no, ah, you got this one detail wrong about the lore. Ah, I'm gonna chastise you over. Like they're so unbearable, and it's been a community that's been there for years. And it's not like the Pokemon fan base where there's millions of them, and it's like they're you know nobody really cares all too much. It's just kind of like chill, and you know, mostly just nerds crunching numbers together to try to see who can beat out the other odds of RNG, you know what I mean, and who can out-strategize the other for Undertale? Like it seems like with solo player games and um TV shows and movies, especially more than like other series and other games, where you run into the problem where it's like if you say something that's not generally liked within a community, or you know, you don't agree with somebody's theory of what's going on while the show is still developing, while the movies are still coming out, it's it's like you're just chastised and like what's what's the word I'm looking for? Like almost crucified for it almost, basically. Like you're put on blast. And it boils down to I think a very simple thing. If somebody comes up to you and says, you know, you know, hey, you're looking good today, you're not gonna remember it as much as hey, you look like shit.
SPEAKER_02No, exactly.
SPEAKER_04You're gonna remember you're gonna remember the guy that told you you look like shit more than the guy that said you're looking good today, or keep up the good work, because it takes one of those to really like you know, ruin your night, you know what I mean, or ruin your day. So I I think that's what that boils down to is that you know, dealing with haters is hard as it is, but the whole community's like it because the whole community is in this huge theory frenzy right now. What's what of like, oh, what's going on?
SPEAKER_02Again, I still say I will still say it's not the entire community because it's not every fan getting on the internet.
SPEAKER_04Well, like I said, you you have a few you have a few compliments now and again.
SPEAKER_02You have the loud ones that are on the internet, and typically the loud ones are the ones that are like, I have an opinion, I want to get it out. Doesn't matter what anyone says. Somebody says I don't like that opinion, it's on.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then just gun them down. Yeah, that's that that's what it is. Like I said, the the internet is like, I mean, sad to say, it's a bunch of chuds, it's a bunch of trolls. I mean, you know, you you you shine a light on their opinion and say that it's that it sucks, or that it, you know, I don't really agree with that, and all of a sudden you're getting gunned down. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02I have a whole lot of thoughts and theories, but you would rarely ever see me going online and voicing it like that. I mean, the podcast is now like my uh endeavor to get some of these thoughts and theories out, and I'm sure down the road I am gonna have people who will disagree with me. And it's gonna be fun because I want to be able to get those disagreements and I want to see some of the other opinions when that comes about, but that's how I am.
SPEAKER_04And since this week will rather this day will come a few weeks after the episode is aired, uh I let's let's hash it out a little bit on the episode. I'll get back to other glitch production stuff and why I'm happy with you know recent pickups and recent new shows that are coming out, as well as Glitch's shining gold star of murder drones, which we could also just save for another time. Uh because that's that's a whole different show that's already been completed, and oh my god, is it a masterpiece? But um I wanna I want to talk about I want to talk about that episode if you if you if you're down to talk about it.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I've been I've been bouncing in my seat over here to talk about it because again, right before you came in, I finished it. So like it is still fresh for me.
SPEAKER_04And yeah, I w what didn't I watch it? I watched it I watched it, I think. Yeah, I watched it like a couple hours after it came out. No, I watched it when it was live. That's right, because I was driving home.
SPEAKER_02And again, I think you know the grand finale is June, was it 19th?
SPEAKER_04Sounds about right. Might be a little different, but it's in June.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um which I definitely, definitely, definitely we are going to talk about it again in June.
SPEAKER_02Yes, we'll have to.
SPEAKER_04We have to. I think we have to honor this. If we're gonna do this, this this time, we have to do it.
SPEAKER_02I mean, realistically, we thought this was the last episode, so like now we're gonna have to do the episode for the last episode.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But okay, starting out the beginning of this episode, which the title is a whole bunch of letters.
SPEAKER_04What is it like? H-T-S-F-E-A, like something. It's just a password is what some people would call it.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that could be a pass key. Um but the two AIs. The two AIs and the red one that appeared to have been locked up.
SPEAKER_04So I think the best explanation that I saw on Instagram, actually, um, red would be Kane, I believe.
SPEAKER_02Yes, that's what I believe.
SPEAKER_04Because of, and here are the spoilers. So if you don't want to be spoiled, you better go watch that episode right now, and then come right back over here, right here.
SPEAKER_02It is like Frank's episode's been out for a few weeks. You can go watch it, come back, finish the episode with us. Wow, we're about to go with that.
SPEAKER_04Come right back here. You but you better not walk out those stories. I'll come and get you.
SPEAKER_02Spoiler warning three, two, one. And so, yeah, I think the red. Was Kane too. No, I think that was Kane. My theory blue is bubble. No. I think blue is able. So bubble has actually been loosely confirmed to be the bubble boy virus.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I don't think the blue one is bubble. I think it's a secondary AI. And it was basically meant to be like a co-AI system, Kane and Able. And it when Kane broke out of his box, he absorbed the second AI. Because, you know, he was always the better one, as he said later in the episode.
SPEAKER_04Yes, he was the original, is the quote I was going to pull why must you tourmen demand. There's something we'll talk about here. We're just going to get stuck talking about this, I think, for the rest of the episode. Because there's so much to unpack. Um, another couple things. Uh, we'll go I'm gonna go through them just real quick. The if you saw the time that Homie got poofed and then came back with the knives in them, if you go back to 2023, there was a teaser trailer of the rest of the series, I think it was coming out, and you can actually see the other half of that scene that was animated that was held on for two years, and I think is an inside joke for Goose, because Goose does that that those type of things. And if you look, they match up almost perfectly from when in the time frame that Pomni pops away and then has the whole thing happen to them, and then the police wait screen comes on, and then the scene ends for that teaser, and then she pops back up exactly at the same time on the other end of the scene. I'm not even joking. So the whole thing is animated if you piece it together. Um I could send it to your uh inbox here in a little bit, to show you what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_02No, I another thing.
SPEAKER_04I think that that's that's a really cool, cool detail. I love that.
SPEAKER_02I want to give them credit where credit's due. They have been upping their animation production so much.
SPEAKER_04It was something that um the quality is getting better every episode. No, I don't know if I'm the only one that's noticed that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, it it has been getting significantly better. One thing I'm wondering if they uh we're loosely confirming with uh the scene where Pomney's walking by the mirror and then looks in the mirror and touches her cheek. The pilot. Well, there's the pilot, but there's also another thing some other fans have pointed out on the internet. Since the pilot, every episode we've seen with Pomney, her eyes have gotten bigger.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I haven't noticed that.
SPEAKER_02And I wonder if even then, because again, she was touching basically where her cheek was, but her eye was already covering part of like her uh little cheek uh circle. So something that uh I was thinking about when we saw that, because it was definitely a reason that they showed us that little bit, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_04I think it's a callback to the first episode similarly. Yeah, they called back to that teaser that I was talking about. Um, I think that that's just down to animation because, like I said, it's been getting better every time, but Pomy looks so much different from the pilot. And even in episode two.
SPEAKER_02I mean, uh Gangle, the detail on Gangle's ribbons was uh a lot when they were a lot shinier. But um they were able to do a lot more in this episode with uh whatever software engine they were using.
SPEAKER_04I think they're using the same one. Like I said, I think they're just focusing more on it, which is why it's taking longer and longer between the episodes, and especially why it took way longer between last one and this one than any of the other episodes, I believe, was because they were setting up for that second episode, too. Yeah, that's why we got a teaser immediately when it dropped. Which let me see if I could pull it up for you in the meantime. Um uh, but how about we unpack um when he he went, you know, literally, which is funny to me because the internet's referring to it as like a Vox thing from uh has been when he started just going insane.
SPEAKER_02Or are you referring to uh Kane?
SPEAKER_04Narcissist? Are you referring to Kane? Yeah, where he just went like, I am a god, and like literally went on a power trip and freaked the hell out.
SPEAKER_02Well, I mean, when you have an AI that's meant to do a certain task or goal, or that's a goal that they have put themselves on for some reason, and they cannot accomplish it, what's gonna happen? The AI is gonna go a little crazy. Because it has programming, it has a a design goal that I believe it was meant to be to create, but when the circus became made, I think he gave himself the goal to take care and make adventures for the humans that come into the circus.
SPEAKER_04I think I look into that uh side panel real quick. Uh that's the teaser, which is, I think, to me, foreshadowing the uh two things. One, you can see the indifference in jack's. Um by the way, for the audience, if you do a quick Google search, you should be able to find it from on Reddit, and also it should also be on YouTube and Twitter or something like that. I have to look back, but you can see the indifference in Jax again, still with wanting to leave. And one thing I'm noticing is the bubbles everywhere. And now that Kane's not there and the virus is free to roam, what's gonna happen? You know what I mean? Another thing, you know, can they conjure anything anymore? Is that like a thing that they're able to do, or was that only Kane?
SPEAKER_02Um cane power in that, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like, is that part of Kane's AI program where you know they're able to just create things using their mind and focusing on, right?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_02And uh, you know, like lastly, like a like I'm saying, if Kane's not there, who is who's holding the circus together, even barely. Now, actually, I want to bring something up about Jax and uh that, right? Especially now that we have the potential of the two AI system. Second AI I'm gonna refer to as Abel because I do think it's supposed to be a reference to Kane and Abel. Kane killing Abel. But what if he didn't fully kill him? There was leads me to my next theory going right back uh episode, I think, two or like going two to four about Jax being an NPC. But I don't think that's right.
SPEAKER_04No, I don't think that that's right at all.
SPEAKER_02What if he is the remnants of the second AI that's put in? Because there's a few odd tidbits about Jax uh two point out. One, and the big ones, he seems to have freakouts or concerns as they are about to leave the circus. And he even pushed the button that would have said no, they cannot leave if they're gonna stay. Um another interesting thing is he somehow has keys to all the rooms. And just seems to be something that he has. Now it's never been fully explained.
SPEAKER_04He's also able to be explained easily.
SPEAKER_02He's also able to conjure things very easily, Looney Tun style. Going into some of the previous episodes, he can just pull out shotguns out of nowhere.
SPEAKER_04Okay, let me let me break this all down. Um I want to agree to disagree if if that's fine with you here. No, yeah. I think he's very on the same exact points that you're talking about, he's able to conjure things easily. You think he can't just conjure the key to all the rooms? Think about it.
SPEAKER_02No, that's that's more kind of where I'm going at it, though, is like those are probably conjured.
SPEAKER_04Right, but so can't Kangar, and so can Pomney, but the exit door on the computer. So on and so forth. And also on the same note as seeing flashbacks, those are actual flashbacks to real life that and you can see by the animation that's real life, that's not you know something that's just put on him as him just freaking out and abstracting what he did. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02No, but we also saw that they were implanting photos and stuff into the AIs in the beginning. Flashes of real life, flashes of the city.
SPEAKER_03I mean it has pictures of the office. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02Again, it's not I'm not necessarily a hundred percent sold on this idea, but it could potentially explain it. That's conjecture.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, it's possible conjecture. I'm not outing it as it's you know, it's wrong. Did he m be and you need to get off Reddit now because I'm gonna go ahead and assault you over this.
SPEAKER_02No, it's in the bar scene. It's a possible thing. Did he ever give us his story on how he got into the circus?
SPEAKER_04I don't think no, because he was hiding his feelings the whole time.
SPEAKER_02No, exactly.
SPEAKER_04That is when he figured out that Kane can mess with his mind.
SPEAKER_02That too.
SPEAKER_04Which was a thing that we think. I think we all we all we but we all knew that, especially from the start when I already knew that it was gonna be revealed in that episode. I'm like, oh, well, we know he can mess with the minds because Jax is vegan. Jax doesn't like you know corn and all this other crap, and also they don't remember their names. It's simple as that. You know, you can't remember that's a big piece of information to forget. They still know who each other are, they just don't know each other's names. That's that's another point. Let me talk, let me talk about Kane in general. I don't think Kane's gone. I don't. Why is the circus there? But he's not. I think there's still a remnant of him in there. And also another note, Kinger being clumsy is not just a trope for his character when he's in the line, as you saw in that episode when you watch it. He accidentally slipped off the backspace key and hit the lead and completely deleted Kane on accident. Um going back to topic, Kane also this is gonna sound insane, but I don't think he's an antagonist. I don't I think that he's in a spot where he doesn't want to be because like he says before, he gets deleted, he didn't ask to be created, and he's trying to fulfill his only and one purpose, which is to make his guests happy. And his one prerogative is probably to keep them in the circus. So therefore, I don't think that is I think it's fair to say that he's not an antagonist, he's more of a um uh what would be the term for that? I can't even think about it because it wouldn't be anti-hero. Uh regardless, he's a rogue, you know, he's not really rogue, but he he's an AI trying to fulfill his purpose. He goes crazy in that episode because you know he can't fulfill the purpose, but he also realizes that he has control of everything. And going on your note, you know, maybe he did absorb Abel because he was the first and he's the better one, and he controls everything because the other one's not there. On that note of having another person there, Kinger. If you looked at his monitor, or if you slow it down or seen any of the clips that I've seen on Instagram, they've slowed it down. There was another anti talking to Kinger when he was trying to turn off Kane and trying to fix his program. And it was like swearing at him and everything, and you know, making fun of him.
SPEAKER_02I wonder if that's the uh bubble virus.
SPEAKER_04That's another question. It's like, is that bubble? Is that able? Maybe that ties in. Maybe that ties in with your jack theory, though. Because Jack, you know, is always witty and he's always, you know, taunting and everything like that. And that's exactly the very exact thing.
SPEAKER_02But did you also notice bubble glitches? When uh when uh Kane was talking to Bubble right before he goes into his crazy god mode Kane version. Uh, and Bubble is saying, uh, why would they and then he glitches, he's like, they hate you, and then Kane pops bubble. It was a very quick like blink and you miss it, but he literally like spasmed and then continue talking before Kane popped him, and then he starts going in on Kane, and we start seeing like the hundreds of bubbles, which is something else to bring up. Why was Bubble doing that to Kane?
SPEAKER_04Um, I'm looking back at it right now. I want to see what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, again, it was blinking your miss that I actually had to go back like ten seconds when I was watching the initial show to make sure I saw it right.
SPEAKER_00They do that multiple times in the show. Why would they hate you? Well, yeah, they say why do they hate you instead of just hate you?
SPEAKER_04Is that what you're talking about?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's if you're watching like Bubble's actual model, it glitches as it basically judges its sentence. Which is an interesting notion because we haven't seen Bubble glitch.
SPEAKER_04We have we've seen them repeat things or do you know do weird dialogue in the sense that they're glitching, but um I I don't really know if that's indicative of anything, honestly.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. A lot of the stuff in the show is very uh very what's the word it's selective. It is definitely like if it didn't matter much, it wouldn't have been added.
SPEAKER_04There right, it's there for a reason. And we will know because at the end of apparently, at the end of the whole series, it's going to be better to re-watch the whole thing to know why the ending happened in the way that it did. And I'm st I'm still not seeing the full picture, I will say it. I'm still not seeing the full picture. I mean, seeing it come together and you know, from previous episodes to episodes that are now out, as well as you know, you know, the first episode and now with the whole exit door and the office and the computer and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02There's a whole bunch more to talk about this episode in general, but for time's sake, the last thing I want to bring up was the reveal of the first group.
SPEAKER_04As well as Scratch and Queenie.
SPEAKER_02How long do you think Kinger was by himself?
SPEAKER_04I think we know the answer to this. I think it was two or two years.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, just Kinger and Gain.
SPEAKER_04And I think the reason why he see, I want to know why he can only be sane in the dark. You know what I mean? Like that's never explained. That's the only thing that's always been a question mark to me is what happened in those two years that made it so that way Kane had to make it so that Kinger couldn't remember.
SPEAKER_02No, I know.
SPEAKER_04It is something must have happened after Queenie abstracted that made him go, you know, it's time to shut you down.
SPEAKER_02Or maybe it wasn't even anything Kane did. It looks like Kinger watched Queenie abstract, and then we know we watched Kane just throw her in the basement.
SPEAKER_04Also, was Bubble around then?
SPEAKER_02I did have to rewatch it.
SPEAKER_04Did Kinger cause Bubble to show up? And is that why he forced Kinger to not be able to think clearly unless he's in the dark?
SPEAKER_02I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_04That's a great that's a great question. Because think about it. He's he's a programmer, he would know how to eject a Trojan or something like that. You know, like the bubble, whatever the hell it's called. I can't remember the exact but the bubble virus basically.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Bubble boy virus, I believe it was. It was like an email chain virus that all you had to do was open it and it would infect the computer and then send out emails to affect more computers.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. It was to mostly affect mesh uh Wi-Fi's and internets that computers were ran on the mesh system. So if the mesh um LAN got infected, it would just send it out to all the devices and basically cook the entire company or system that it was on.
SPEAKER_02Now, I do want to talk more about some of Glitch's other shows. Did you get the chance to watch the uh Knights of Guinevere?
SPEAKER_04I did not. Uh, did you get the chance to watch Martin Rums?
SPEAKER_02No, I did not.
SPEAKER_04Then I think we know what we need to do. And I think we have an assignment for the viewers at home, too. Is that I think we're each gonna have to watch the other show. Uh Knights of Guinevere, how yeah, getting close on time as it is.
SPEAKER_02So, yeah, Knights of Guinevere, they have their pilot episode out.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I'll take a look at that. I have to re-watch Gaslight District, that's another one. Um, the whole show of Murder Drones is out. I want you to watch it. I might rewatch it because I did miss a couple episodes in between.
SPEAKER_02I know Lackadaisy is one that you put on my radar, so I'm gonna make sure to take a peek at that. So they have a lot of shorts at.
SPEAKER_04I'm really, really, really happy that Glitch picked them up because I have been wanting to see more of Lackadaisy. That's just a personal preference, because I I personally love the 1920s era of America. And, you know, to whatever powers that they're doing it with the cats, but I still think that it's cool, and I like a lot of the characters, and I like a lot of the shorts and comics that I've been seeing come out. Uh, I also love Michael Kovac, one of my favorite at voice actors, especially in modern indie. Um and he plays Rocky, it feels like perfectly. Um and I want to see more of Rocky and the other characters as well. I just want to see how it fleshes out because I like that era of um America. Um, lastly, Game Averse. That's a very, very, very new one that just recently came out with Jay Schlatt as the big star voice actor for the other main character, where they have to go through and like prevent the game from getting destroyed by preventing the the protagonist from winning, I think, or whatever it is. It's a very cool concept, and I think that it's gonna be a really good show. Um, but those are the things that are on my radar as major Lacadaisy. I want to see more of uh Gamerverse, and then I guess I have to watch Nights of Grenabre.
SPEAKER_02Well, down the road we'll have to have some more indie discussions.
SPEAKER_04So absolutely, and we are coming back for that episode nine.
SPEAKER_02That is happening. Yes, we will have to.
SPEAKER_04Maybe we'll have more updates on the other shows because Gaslight District is supposed to start right after that. That's when Gaslight District is supposed to go around, and then I think after that, nights are gonna be.
SPEAKER_02Frank, I want to thank you for coming back to the or coming into the tavern. Uh bringing all the information you have.
SPEAKER_04I will be coming back here. That that that is a thing that I want to come back to.
SPEAKER_02I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_04Um, definitely if you want to have me in for any other discussions, just let me know. I'll swing on by. Um, you know, I don't know how the weather is inside, usually, when you have all four walls.
SPEAKER_02But I'm gonna take the business card from you actually, real quick, and maybe give it a call.
SPEAKER_03I got a couple here.
SPEAKER_04Let me just uh get you some cards here. That perfect. There you go. Uh, you know, I got a couple buddies on there. Uh maybe try that guy. He's a uh he's on roofing mainly, but uh I do help him out a lot on some jobs.
SPEAKER_02Right. I'll definitely give uh these guys a call. But once again, Frank, just want to say thank you for taking your time coming on. This was a blast to talk about. Been enjoying the amazing Disrol Circus. Can't wait to talk about the final episode. So we'll definitely have to have you back for that.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. I'll go ahead and let my buddies know about you and your uh whole your whole establishment here and give them invites as well to come on over and you know hang out, talk, grab a drink, maybe.
SPEAKER_02Oh, absolutely. But I think I have to say with all of that being said, my name is Danny with our Tavern Talks, and that's gonna be another chow.
