We dive into the beginning of my journey as a first-time Dungeon Master, kicking off a brand-new campaign full of unknowns, learning curves, and unforgettable moments.

I’m joined by Clay, a player from the campaign who brings a unique perspective—sharing his experiences both in character and at the table. We talk about what it felt like stepping into a new world, how his character evolved, and what stood out from those early sessions as a player.

Whether you’re a seasoned tabletop veteran or just curious about what goes into starting a campaign, this episode is all about first steps, early challenges, and the memories that began when the dice started rolling.

SPEAKER_01

Man, it's so good to finally have a day off in the tavern. I've got so much I need to clean. Last couple uh groups. They're awesome, but a little bit of messes, of course.

SPEAKER_02

Huh.

SPEAKER_01

Wonder what this book is. Let's see. The Adventures of Sword Coast, a homebrew campaign. Huh. So we find ourselves following a party of sorts through trials and tribulations. They found ways of working together to achieve versions of their goals. A Wandria, a wood elf, Barty, a blue Goliath are found uh working together with a dragonborn named Baldir and a hired wizard named Donabella. They find a local coffee shop owner who needs to have a special war axe uh retrieved. The axe is from adventures of an age long begone. Through wolves and birds, they struggle yet to succeed. They encounter a horde of spriggins, but they get the axe. Upon returning Uthol's axe back to him, the elf has made it aware that there is a debt owed. Uthol is willing to pay the money owed, but in order to do that, he can only do it through jobs. He's going to offer them more jobs to help the elf raise the funds she needs, but in the meantime, it'll be taking care of a lot of the town's problems. Oh. Hello, sir. I thought I locked that door. How can I help you?

SPEAKER_00

My apologies. This uh this seat taken, I could go for a good drink.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, go right ahead. What would you like?

SPEAKER_00

Uh probably just your standard ale.

SPEAKER_01

Nothing too crazy right now. Alright, I'll go ahead and get that porn. What can I call you, sir?

SPEAKER_00

Baldir.

SPEAKER_01

Huh. As in the Baldir from this book?

SPEAKER_02

Book.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, it was I have a whole adventure in a book right here. I just started reading, ironically enough. Um what characters' names were Baldir, Donabella, Alandria, and Barty. Must be a coincidence.

SPEAKER_00

That'd be one how can I see that book for a moment? Yeah, no, go right ahead.

unknown

So here he's saying not to listen to all the same.

SPEAKER_00

Huh. Where did you find this? This does okay. Have you read this yet?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I only Here, take this back. Only just got through the first couple pages before you walked in, so I haven't had the time to really deep dive it yet.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting. Yeah, I that from what I can imagine, that book seems uh very particular to um an adventure that I just happened to be going on.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not gonna lie, it's not like the book is super detailed. I mean, this passage here, um through wolves and birds they struggle yet succeed. Like it seems like wolves and birds weren't enough to pen down, yet they still took the time to write about it. Does that correlate to your adventure at all?

SPEAKER_00

It does ring kind of a bell, and uh yeah, yeah, that that does sound awfully familiar.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, here's your drink, and why don't why don't you tell me a bit about this adventure? I'm curious to see how much it lines up with this story I have.

SPEAKER_00

Well, read off the story and I'll fill in any blanks that I can.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So off the top, laundry and Barty are working with a dragonborn named Baldir and Higher Wizard Donna Bella. Like they're going through a coffee shop, I guess. So do you want to lay me a little bit about that? Well, what would the coffee shop have been?

SPEAKER_00

It it it seemed just like any other coffee shop. Everything seemed fine, you know. Bunch of patrons, bar stools, tables, one big long bar with full of meads, alcohols, whatever you could think of. You know, you're your standard tavern, nothing too crazy. Until you got up to the counter. And working the counter was basically a a human-sized praying mantis.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, I'm sorry, human-sized praying mantis.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. He was a good man. Made terrible coffee, but it was really good for ya.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, okay, so I'm sorry, I'm just trying to understand. Human-sized praying mantis.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, exactly. A giant six foot tall praying mantis or seven feet? I don't know. Big bug.

SPEAKER_01

Now, is this Uthol? Is this who needed you to get his ex?

SPEAKER_00

No, this no, this was the uh this was the front man working the counters. His name was Bugman. Conveniently enough.

SPEAKER_01

Conveniently enough.

SPEAKER_00

Conveniently enough.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, so when did you guys meet this Uthol?

SPEAKER_00

He I believe from what I can remember, I think he owned that tavern, and we ended up running through him, I believe, through a job posting. Something about finding an axe for him that uh he needed for some help. Or that he needed for, I guess, his own. I I'm not sure whatever the reason he needed for it was, but you know. We had to go fish out an axe for him. So that's what we went and did.

SPEAKER_01

That's fair. I mean, you know, axes, they're always getting taken by different monsters and stuff consistently.

SPEAKER_00

Gotta keep a good eye on them.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, especially when they're imbued with magic. Yeah, imbued with magic, you say. That's an axe I wouldn't have normally lost.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you could think.

SPEAKER_01

So, you guys get this job from Uthall, and you start making your way, I'm assuming, towards the axe location. Am I correct?

SPEAKER_00

Roughly that way, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Now, when it says you guys dealt with wolves and birds, like what are we talking? Like a couple dogs that you guys ran into, or in how is birds anything worth mentioning?

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's funny. You'd see most adventures when they run into a pack of wolves, you expect kind of it, you expect kind of a good little tussle, you know, a halfway decent little fight. Surprisingly, we didn't have much trouble with them. Then all of a sudden, we got to this bridge, and this little flock of birds decided to just show up and ruin our entire goddamn day. I don't know what these birds were made of. I don't know if they were imbued with any magic or just birds that were built different. But they came in and fucked everything up.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I mean, you gotta remember when you got a flock of birds flying around, like, how are you trying to fight them? I know you had a uh wizard, were she able to cast a spell into the flock or anything? Please don't tell me you were trying to hit them with your axes on your side.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I had to. I didn't have much of a choice. The wizard w arguably was not being the much best of help. She was not exactly the best of wizards.

SPEAKER_01

I should I would uh now I know it's so she was hired help. Like, was it just because your party was lacking you feel you chose to bring her along with you? I know you're saying she wasn't really the best of wizards.

SPEAKER_00

And I I'm not trying to speak ill of the poor girl. She was she did fine, she was still learning, you know, learning the craft, and I understand that she had a lot to learn. But we did need the help, and unfortunately, she just wasn't really being the help that we needed.

SPEAKER_01

So, what ended up taking down this flock of birds?

SPEAKER_00

You know, honestly, it's a little fuzzy.

SPEAKER_01

A little fuzzy. Is the L's death.

SPEAKER_00

But we got away from we we got away from them one way or another. We dealt with them.

SPEAKER_01

So did you deal with them or did you get away from them?

SPEAKER_00

I think we I can't even remember, to be honest with you. I think whatever you put in that drink is kind of getting in my head a little bit. I think I need to set this glass down.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, I mean, that's fair. By the way, meaning the ask, you're lighting up my whole uh tavern in a red hue. What's what's that about?

SPEAKER_00

I would love to tell you, but uh unfortunately that's spoiler stuff for a couple sessions down the road.

SPEAKER_01

I gotcha. I'm not trying to get spoiled.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

No, moving on, so you guys manage to get away from the birds, and you run into a clearin' of spriggan. Now, I I have a room of spriggan in the back, so it's like I know what they are, but it's weird to see another reference of spriggin.

SPEAKER_00

Apparently, uh apparently the fine gentleman that we uh were getting the axe for deals in Spriggan. Ooh, does he so yeah, apparently he uh sells it as far as I know, or does something with it.

SPEAKER_01

No, natural occurrence spriggin is effectively twig blights, correct me if I'm wrong.

SPEAKER_00

If I'm not mistaken, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So they they get the nickname Spriggan typically from what I understand, because if a uh another media rendition of a game called Skyrim, and the way that the Spriggan creature in Skyrim matches up to Tweak Blades.

SPEAKER_00

What the fuck is a video game?

SPEAKER_01

Um I'm I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_00

I have a lot of questions for you.

SPEAKER_01

I'm sure you want to smoke some spriggin?

SPEAKER_00

You know, I have once. I think I'm I think I'm alright. I think that'd be more of my buddy Taven's thing.

SPEAKER_01

So you guys had to fight through some spriggins to get this axe back. No.

unknown

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

That we didn't. On returning, there's not really much said, but there is money owed to the elf. And Uthal felt obligated to continue paying that. So I'm curious, like, do you how well did you know Alondria?

SPEAKER_00

Uh I didn't know her well. I knew her well enough to do what we needed to do, and to be able to trust her enough to be able to do what we needed to do. Um, but aside from that, our relationship wasn't the most developed. She seemed fine, seemed awfully hot-tempered and very uh very in on what she wants, but seemed fine.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Well, it seems like she was able to help you guys get more work in the town. Without going into too much detail, um what kind of work did uh Uthall find for you guys?

SPEAKER_00

Work did he find for us? It has been a while. Any specific notes in that fancy little book?

SPEAKER_01

I know when I flip through the chapters, I see a couple chapter heads that uh seem notable. Uh one of them is just Nomenguard with an exclamation point. I see one about Axeholm Part 1, Red Room Part 2. There's a whole chapter about betrayal.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we're starting to jog my memory a little bit. Man, that was in one day, huh? Huh. So boy, here we go. Here's this story, huh? Alright, I guess buckle your seat belts. This is gonna be one hell of a trip. So a lot of a lot of the bits and pieces are hazy. Because um you'll you'll find out. You'll find out soon enough. But we go uh uh we get tasked on a couple missions. One of them includes taking on a dragon that ends up becoming a problem around town. Me, being a dragonborn and coming from a clan of dragon hunters, thought it would be a perfect idea to bring along my best friend and basically my brother, Taven. We grew up together, he is arguably an odd one out in our little community. He is the only human, but he means well, he's a good kid. So we brought him along to take on his first dragon.

SPEAKER_01

Part way through Axe.

SPEAKER_00

Huh?

SPEAKER_01

That seems like a sweet idea.

SPEAKER_00

Uh yeah, in theory, on paper, it sounds great. Part way through, me and Taven get separated from the rest of the group. I don't know what the hell happened to me. Uh one minute I'm going through, and then the next minute it's dark, and all I'm seeing is red. I come to, I'm standing in I'm standing in what appears to be some kind of giant room, chained to the wall, with Taven on the other end, the other end of the room, holding some surprisingly fancy new swords. I don't know where these swords came from. I don't know why they were in my hands and chained to my wrists and and by extension to the wall, but I couldn't so much as move. On top of that, not only could I move because of that, I had I was un I can only imagine I was uns under some kind of magical spell because there's nothing in my body that would possess me to attack Taven the way it uh I did.

SPEAKER_01

But wondering if he had an encounter with demons.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, I'm almost certain of it. But again, no spoilers.

SPEAKER_01

No, absolutely. I'll definitely have to get to those chapters, figure out what happened.

SPEAKER_00

So, and unfortunately, Taven, being the good hearted boy that he is, freaked out, got scared, defended himself while also at the same time trying to free me. Did not quite work out well.

SPEAKER_01

I think we have some lost security cam footage of that incident, actually. I could probably go and dig that up.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I know you're fucking with me, and that's funny. No, that poor boy. That poor boy has to deal with my death on his hands.

SPEAKER_01

That that is fair, that is fair, but no spoilers. We will talk about that later in more detail.

SPEAKER_00

It was uh it was albeit quick, painful, and completely unnecessary. But that poor boy has to live with my death on his hands for the rest of his life.

SPEAKER_01

That is fair. But without going into the case, I wonder how I'd feel knowing I'm not dead.

SPEAKER_00

Or maybe I am dead. Where the fuck am I to begin? What tavern is this?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's the coffee shop. We're within the podcast, it's on every main platform, every main server, every main dimension. We have the ability to talk to just about anyone we want to, or don't want to. I mean, actually, if you want to understand the multi-dimensional little bit more, let's get your uh player character in.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sorry, man.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, hey Clay.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, what's up, guys?

SPEAKER_01

Uh Clay? I'm not sure if you've officially met. This is Baldier.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, I know who he is. Does someone want to explain what the f what is going on here? I I need answers.

SPEAKER_01

Don't worry about it. Here's another ale. Doesn't even make sense, but you'll be fine.

SPEAKER_00

Danny, Danny, can you explain to the man what is going on before he has a fucking aneurysm? Or do I need to like step up and like say something?

SPEAKER_01

Don't worry, Clay. Here's a joint. Everything will be fine. Nah. I just wanted to bring it up.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, hold on, hold on. Let me let me hold on. Let me let me settle this man's confusion right now. Oh dear, buddy. Okay, so as far as I know, you're still dead, but you're in like a magic space-time coffee shop, and we're all just kind of sitting here hanging out bullshitting about a fictional fucking game where you're a character in it. It makes no sense. I know, and you're very confused, but you just gotta roll with us, and it'll all make sense as you go along, alright? Yeah, I'm gonna need another ale.

SPEAKER_01

There you go, buddy.

SPEAKER_00

Alright. Alright, let's do this. So oh, oh, oh shit. Oh, did y'all get to Taven yet?

SPEAKER_01

No, we're not we're not getting to Taven today's episode. But we will we'll get to Taven.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I mean, like, did did like are you dead yet? Yeah. Okay, so I know where we are.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. He he he's coming from a point in the future where he is unknown. But we are talking about the first couple of times.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna assume he's still dead.

SPEAKER_01

That is fair.

SPEAKER_00

Can we not talk about the fact of whether or not I'm dead or not? Can we just say I'm dead because last I checked, I was fucking died.

SPEAKER_01

Ah, don't worry, I'm the god of your world. I decide that. Moving on.

SPEAKER_00

So, claim not even gonna touch that one.

SPEAKER_01

When you were Yeah, I wasn't when you were making our good pal Baldir over here. And this was what how many times had you played DD before Baldir?

SPEAKER_00

I don't like him looking at me. I feel way too pressured right now. You're the one who made me. You better answer this question fucking carefully. Okay, okay. Um geez, dude. I played DD a lot throughout my god. I've probably played like 15, 20 games campaigns by this point.

SPEAKER_01

I think you had a good idea of what you wanted to do going into Baldir's creation.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and it kind of worked out that every single time, you know, previous, except for I think like a handful of times, I've played a fighter, so that's like 90% of his fucking deal. Oh, at least you know what you're doing.

SPEAKER_01

Now, I do know and remember more than a few times, it seems like a lot of Baldir's luck came down to dice rolls.

SPEAKER_00

Hmm, hmm, hmm. You better be fucking thanking me, homeboy. If I didn't have those baby blue dice, ooh, you'd be in some shit city right now. I'm sorry. Wait, hold on. Wait, you're telling me my entire fucking life, every decision, every outcome that has ever fucking been decided in my life is up to a goddamn Dice roll? Yeah, pretty much.

SPEAKER_01

And the god of luck, but they just don't like you.

SPEAKER_00

What kind of game is this? It's it's a long, complicated game, dude. You just just keep rolling with it.

SPEAKER_01

So when you're making Baldir, what were a lot of your things? I know you said fighter was the main deal, but was there any inspiration you were trying to go with?

SPEAKER_00

Um I think when I made Baldir, um I don't know. I kind of just wanted to go for like the like the dude that lives out in the woods, you know, grew up on nature and shit, learned how to hunt and everything on his own, you know, hunts for sport, lives in the trees, you know, monkey man shit. But, you know, lizard people, I guess. I don't know, man. You really thought that you really sought me through, didn't you?

SPEAKER_01

I was about to ask. Boladir, how do you feel, you know, now that you're a conscience living being? Knowing that that was the origin of your life.

SPEAKER_00

I have a lot of questions. I will say that. A lot of questions I'm not gonna be able to get answered. But I mean it hasn't seemed too bad so far. It seems like I got a halfway decent backstory at least. Halfway decent background, I seem, you know. Seemed like you made me alright.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, don't worry. He he definitely made you. Uh made you.

SPEAKER_00

I don't appreciate being I don't appreciate being dead though. Yeah, well, you know, it It was and wasn't my choice.

SPEAKER_01

Didn't you say you were bored of playing him?

SPEAKER_00

Not that I was bored of playing him, I just I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Well, moving on. Don't need Boldier to have that accidental crisis. Um, what did you think, Clay, of the sidekiss sidekick system that I tried to play?

SPEAKER_00

Sidekick system.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you know, the wizard Donna Bella.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. The character that I barely knew how to run. That lasted a whole what three sessions before Taven came in?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I I think it was like five. Because I know new two sessions.

SPEAKER_00

Oh wow, we really fucking wow, you guys really skipped ahead if we skipped on to the whole like Taven killing Baldir thing.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I mean, Baldier was just talking a little bit about his story, but we didn't get all the way down there yet. So Yeah, that's true. Once I open up the chapter of that book, that's gonna be its whole discussion.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Um, by the way, Baldir, Taven was also my idea. Because he's the one who killed me, but you made him a little too strong for me to be mad at that. Like he he whooped my ass proper. I'll give him that. Fucking kids built like a stack house of bricks.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It bald ear, if it pleases you to know, David did go on to be massively depressed for a good while. He finally came out of the depression and then he blew up Fandalin. So I think he's still currently depressed. He did what? Oh, well, spoiler, my bad. We'll get there eventually.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, okay. Yeah, that's a spoiler, even for me. Holy shit. Yeah, you thought you had bad luck. Look, remember those swords you had, Baldir? Those big cool fiery swords with the chains? Yeah. Taven can't let those go. They're stuck with him because of you. Um, spoilers for anyone who doesn't know, but you know.

SPEAKER_01

It's to be honest, first of all, that's a good one for that because you never know how far the story's gonna go or what crazy hijinks this group gets into. And I plan to do a little uh talk session for each chapter of that campaign, because wow, are there some things? Um I know next session we're gonna be talking about the bridge and all the shenanigans that happened with that.

SPEAKER_00

Um, so I'm coming back to this magic. So I'm coming back to this place, is what I'm hearing.

SPEAKER_01

No, you're always invited back.

SPEAKER_00

I don't even know how I got here.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, magic portal.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. This being this being dead thing is is I don't know. I think I'd rather go back and deal with the demons again.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, you're alright right now. Natanya can't do anything.

SPEAKER_00

Her, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, there that there was a lot of interesting characters that we ran into in this campaign. Between Ozerk, Natanya, we had um oh Barthon. Curious to see where he's gonna end up later down the road. I know Alondria has the Barthane?

SPEAKER_00

Who the fuck is Barthen?

SPEAKER_01

He was the merchant that uh packed up shop and left when Alondria became suspicious of him for something.

SPEAKER_00

What? Did I fucking skip a page?

SPEAKER_01

No, but it has been a while since we played this campaign.

SPEAKER_00

But it has been a while.

SPEAKER_01

I mean the DM. It's already for some areas, but there are still keynotes I remember because I'm still world-building the rest of my worlds. But this was where it all began. This was my first campaign as a DM for like a full open world campaign. Um lots of twists and turns. There are so many things I did not plan for.

SPEAKER_00

This this campaign, this campaign went from zero to a hundred really fucking quick. Yeah, I know you're telling me, and I wasn't even there for half of it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I know. And then there were some other uh other player characters that joined, and they either made it significantly better or significantly worse.

SPEAKER_00

Significantly worse.

SPEAKER_01

And yeah, there will be some things said about those characters down the road when we get to those chapters. I am excited to actually continue talking about a lot of this.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Yeah, this will be uh this will be good.

SPEAKER_01

Now, before we gotta start closing up and wrapping up, I know it's probably gonna be a shorter episode this week than most. Um what were your thoughts of your characters you made for this campaign? I'm just curious.

SPEAKER_00

I think one of them has made some really stupid decisions, and the person running that character really needs to get his shit together and figure out how to how he wants to play his fucking character. But I'm proud of him, honestly. Like, Baldir was my first like real fucking character that I sat down and actually like took the time to sit through and like plan out and figure out what classes I wanted to run, what abilities I wanted to give him, all that shit. Like, I sat down and thought Baldir not through, and it kind of breaks my heart that I don't really use him anymore, and then he's kind of dead. Sorry, buddy, none taken. Um honestly, that is that's honestly kind of nice. Um yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. Um yeah, and then Kavan, Kavan's just my bread and butter, dude. That's my boy. That is everything I want in a powerhouse DD character. Like, when I think of a barbarian, Kaven is exactly what I fucking think of, and I'm so glad that he exists. And I cannot fucking wait to talk about him more and hopefully drag his ass in here so you can kick his ass for a little bit. It's not needed, but I might take you up on that.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, Baldir.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Before we gotta start wrapping up, I'm curious. Do you know who his newest character is yet?

SPEAKER_00

Newest character?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, no, because you know, you can't keep a good clay down, and he has many adventures that he's doing. But as I pulled out the picture, this is Gary Karptos.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, my boy. Is it is it a fish? Is it a fish? Is it a is he top half fish, bottom half? Is that human legs? You came up with that? Look, man, it was three in the morning. I had nothing better to do. How does he breathe? Does he breathe underwater or does he breathe air? Both, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Ironically enough, he isn't the author one in the party. But that's a whole different book that's yet to be fully written yet.

SPEAKER_00

So I'm I'm you know, I'm not even surprised with everything that's happened today. I'm not even surprised.

SPEAKER_01

But there's our last I'm in a magic time I'm gonna go.

SPEAKER_00

I'm in a magic time space coffee shop.

SPEAKER_01

And before we're gonna close out and wrap up for everyone, any last things you guys want to say? Anything else that you want to bring up as player, as the uh character?

SPEAKER_00

How long do you plan on keeping me dead, God man?

SPEAKER_01

I think it's been two years since we last played that campaign. So I don't know, probably another two more years, and then we'll get the next campaign.

SPEAKER_00

You've kept me dead for two you're gonna keep me dead for four years? Fuck you.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I think you were dead for a good year into the campaign, actually. Because we played, I think, for two years. So yeah, you're probably gone about five years. That's a good DD timeline.

SPEAKER_00

You make sure Taven brings my ass back. Dude, I have been working on that since you fucking died, okay? Shut up. I'm working on it.

SPEAKER_01

Don't worry. You get a cool evolution. It's gonna be badass. You're gonna enjoy it.

SPEAKER_00

He gets a what? What? I get a what?

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, no, but we'll probably see him in like seven, eight years by the time we actually get to him, realistically speaking.

SPEAKER_00

Is it really gonna take that fucking long?

SPEAKER_01

Well, you know, you can only play DD so often in general. You gotta make sure all commitments are made. We gotta get through our current campaign, and this one can take a while.

SPEAKER_00

I'll do two sessions a month. Fuck it. Dude, I wanna fucking I want to get back into that game and I want him to not be dead. Yeah, I wanna not be fucking dead.

SPEAKER_01

Well, guys, thank you for coming up to the coffee shop today, sharing some of your experiences. Love to have you both on when we go into further chapters. Um is there anything you'd like to say to the hordes of listeners that are gonna be listening to your escapades?

SPEAKER_00

Um I'm gonna I'm gonna let the I'm gonna let the D D character go first. First of all, fuck you for calling me that. Um What do I say to I I whatever you just said? I don't fucking know. I don't know what's going on here.

SPEAKER_01

Well, typically people say thank you for listening, and from their neck of the woods, the weather and a goodbye of some kind.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I I suppose thank you, whoever, for listening and or whatever you're doing, I don't know. Um this is Baldir's son from this tavern of space and time, and it's very confusing. Um cool. Okay. Um, bye, I guess.

SPEAKER_01

Uh you know what?

SPEAKER_00

We'll give him a na for effort.

SPEAKER_01

He he never rolled high on charisma, if I remember correctly.
