We’re back from hiatus with a packed episode diving straight into mind-boggling financial drama, viral music debates, and massive sports headlines. We kick things off by dissecting a wild billionaire divorce settlement where someone actually turned down $725 million, before pivoting to a relatable dilemma: if your ex accidentally sends you $4,000, are you sending it back or keeping it? The crew then goes head-to-head settling the ultimate '90s R&B matchup between Joe and Donell Jones, reacts to the massive news of LeBron James signing with Philly, and discusses Baker Mayfield choosing to forgive his father and brother after they allegedly stole $12 million from him.
The chaos continues as we break down the shocking true-crime story of a massive cocaine trafficking ring operating right out of Penn State fraternity houses. To wrap things up, Britt takes over for "Her Segment" to tackle a heavy relationship question: does opening up your relationship for a threesome inevitably open the door to cheating? Between the wild stories, heated debates, and unfiltered relationship takes, this is an episode you don't want to miss.
Hey y'all, it's your girl Brick Rat episode 20. This episode is titled We're Bad. Like, comment, and subscribe.

SPEAKER_06It was good. You know, it wasn't what I expected, but we made we may do.
SPEAKER_05We may do. Shout out to Corey. Yeah, he bought you by your monkleasy. Yo, wait, yeah. We didn't even ask you what Corey buying. We didn't even ask us.
SPEAKER_06We're not doing that. We're not doing that.
SPEAKER_03Y'all like the the name brands and favorite brands. What are you talking about? Tax bracket couple, but wow.
SPEAKER_06Moving on. How was your first grade?
SPEAKER_03Wait, hold on, hold on. Why you moving on? Did he not get you a good gift? Did he not get you?
SPEAKER_06When I walk in with a you know a little baby. Oh, hold on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, all right.
SPEAKER_06Y'all gonna be like, who bought that? Y'all already gonna know.
SPEAKER_05Can you forgive your pull if he forgets if he forgets your birthday? Like if he didn't buy you nothing?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_05What if you don't got it? I forgot you text back a couple. I forgot, forgot.
SPEAKER_03Wow. My fault, my fault, my fault. But that's you know what? That kind of goes back to the question from before though. Like, yo, what if he for he don't got the bread to get you nothing? And now you're exing you that four bands. What you doing now?
SPEAKER_01Like, yo, like you know, situation to me.
SPEAKER_06Me, but he can't tell me to send it back. If he don't got it, we just gonna we got it now. We up together now.
SPEAKER_03That is cute.
SPEAKER_06He cannot say it in the back.
SPEAKER_03But now how do you respond to that ex though? Like, because you know he's gonna hit you up with it, like, yo, your man ain't dirty macking your nigga. He don't even got a dirty mac. What if he's cool with it? Like, yo, you got that? I sent you something.
SPEAKER_06I don't respond, but I keep the money.
SPEAKER_03Hey yo, that's crazy. Yo, Corey, you heard the head laughing correctly. I mean, but that's good though for Corey. But she's not responding, but she keeps the money.
SPEAKER_06But we keep the money. Why he sending that? Can you tell Corey? Yeah, I'll tell him. Yo, we up. I just sent you $2,000. Now go buy my birthday gift.
SPEAKER_04We ain't gonna talk about it no more. Technically. Technically.
SPEAKER_05But uh, no, my birthday was good. I went out to uh North Carolina to see my pops. Then uh then we took the drive to um Atlanta, which wasn't bad. It's like four hours straight. It wasn't bad. Went to Magic City? Nah, nah, nah. We went to KODs, though.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah. Is it KODs in there?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's the original one.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. I never knew that.
SPEAKER_05Trash.
SPEAKER_06Really? So Miami is.
SPEAKER_05It was trash, yeah. It was trash.
SPEAKER_06Oh wow. I never knew that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's the original journal.
SPEAKER_03No, no, but why was it trash though?
SPEAKER_05There's nobody in that joint. Seriously? Wait, but so and with them out there, they got the way they do it is too. I guess today we went, they have like uh aspiring rappers go on stage and perform. Oh nah. So it was like five niggas, like five different sets of performances. We're in panda matter. It was it was it was it was a it was a site. It was a and not the site you think. It wasn't it wasn't a good site.
SPEAKER_03So the the ladies wasn't it wasn't out there?
SPEAKER_05Nah, nah, nah, not really. But um, then after that we went to we know a lot. Um some spot called Bamboo with the family. It was all right. Atlanta is actually different because the section culture in Atlanta is actually like a real thing. They legit don't dance out there. It's just sections and yeah, they just dance. Yeah, it's actually it's kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_03It's really just like, yo, I got this amount of money, you got that amount of money. Yeah, it was kind of yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's a show out. It was cool. Like the the the babies loved out there, nigga. When freestyle come on in Atlanta, oh my god, you would thought they were playing dipset, nigga. Shout out my label, that's me.
SPEAKER_04It's crazy.
SPEAKER_05Nah, it's crazy. But um, no, it was it was dope. And my sister had their birthday during the same week as me, so shout out to them. I was on the grill making steaks. Niggas love the steaks, niggas out there like shuffing it up.
SPEAKER_03That's what I'm saying. Oh man, said stuff up from the grilled chicken today.
SPEAKER_05See how niggas be crazy? Niggas don't respect me. See how I get no respect? He ate you up with it.
SPEAKER_06He ate you up with that one.
SPEAKER_05See how I get no respect. Yeah, that's kind of crazy. That's kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_02Well, what you been up to?
SPEAKER_03Yo, I've been getting to the money. As you should. Not willingly though. I want to go home. Nah, just say, nah, nah, nah. It's been cool. I'm chilling, yo. I feel good. The energy is out there. You know how you can just get that energy, and it's like that immaculate energy, and you just feel like, yo, can't nothing touch me.
SPEAKER_02That's how you're feeling.
SPEAKER_03That's how I'm feeling.
SPEAKER_06Yo, Sybar. What's up with our girl Tassiki? I know he don't watch bad either.
SPEAKER_03Hey, yo. I'm gonna be honest with you.
SPEAKER_06What's up with that?
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna be honest with you. She she was wildin'. But you know, Big Lex is my is my girl too, so I feel like it was rigged.
SPEAKER_02I don't care what no idea. No, it was not rigged. When does Taseki turn her back on fights?
SPEAKER_03She didn't, but she was also getting hit that length. It's the reach. Nah, I don't think that was a real fight. You got a six, you got like a 6'2, 6'1, 6'2 demon in Big Lex.
SPEAKER_06Even after she said, You owe me now, she owes her way.
SPEAKER_03Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Tassiki fans is trying to make it seem like the fight was real. It was not rigged.
SPEAKER_06I'm a Tseki and Lex fan.
SPEAKER_03You know what it is? It's just, it's a difference between there's a difference between like, yo, we're in a boxing match where staying is structured, and then like, yeah, like a street fight, or just like, because Toseki, not I wouldn't even really call her a street fighter. Because like she got hands that, like, you know, hands, hands, like, yeah. If it's on some shit like things wasn't timed, she beats big Lex. You know what I'm saying? But it's like a timed structure thing. You come in with your game plan and your strategy. She just didn't have one, was being taught by Clarissa Shields. That's true. Come on. All right.
SPEAKER_06I just wanted to bring that up because that was crazy.
SPEAKER_05I start the show.
SPEAKER_03I thought we started.
SPEAKER_05Oh, it didn't click to my Bluetooth. That's what I get. See, that's what I get. That's natural.
SPEAKER_04I didn't disrespect the baddies. That's what I get.
SPEAKER_05Disrespect the baddies. No, that's crazy. All right, we'll figure that later. Go ahead. Oh no. I'm sorry, y'all. Music was supposed to be playing, but we'll have we'll get through it. All right, y'all. We can get to City said what segment. Big thing happened over the weekend. RB lovers was out in the bow brit. The bald heads united. You would thought it was Avengers out here. The grandpa's with the Baldies and the Square Pepper Beads. They started going to Instagram live like I'd never seen before. You had the aunties out. That was it was a beautiful thing. Don L. Jones and Joe, it went exactly how we thought it was gonna go. I don't know if Joan thought it was gonna go a little bit. No, no, I'm not.
SPEAKER_03I'm not sort of talking about it. Look, look, I knew Joe would win, but I thought it would be a little bit more competitive. I didn't think it was gonna be like a wash like that. Because they both got hit, and I thought they both like, you know, the vocals were still there. So I thought it was gonna be like one of those. Joe just, you know, was a little bit more creative with his.
SPEAKER_02Donna Jones, yeah, definitely disappointed us a little bit.
SPEAKER_05Especially like, yo, when he's big rich towns. I mean, that's when he pulled out 50. That was that I mean that was dope. I was watching that. I was still at work. So that he lost that one too. He lost that one. I know I'm sorry, Joe won that one. I'm sorry, Donald Jones. I forgot because Donna Jones played my joint after that. Uh what song did he play after that break? Um fuck um I don't remember.
SPEAKER_06No, it wasn't that uh nah, I can't remember.
SPEAKER_05Can't remember, but that's what I was like, damn.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it was it was Joe's a different breed, bro. No, for sure. People be sleeping on Joe.
SPEAKER_05Nah, I don't think so. Yes, maybe like the younger people, but like I told me I don't think somebody told me they didn't even know he was on Big Rich Town.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, yo, you don't remember that whole controversy?
SPEAKER_06Because it was a it was they did somebody.
SPEAKER_03I think it was Trey's song.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and everybody was like, fuck out of here, bring Joe back. Is you still trying to get this music?
SPEAKER_05No, I nah, I'm I I gave up. But no, I didn't know about the controversy. I mean, I stopped watching Paul, like after once it dipped off, I stopped watching.
SPEAKER_06No, they switched the song. Like one episode, they switched the song at the end. Hell no, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05They put it back.
SPEAKER_06They was like, nah, bring that back. Bring that back.
SPEAKER_05That is true. But it's also though, I think verses is dope for like so many reasons, but then this is when you see like the negative effect on versus because people at times just live in the moment way too much, and they don't, like you said, sometimes they don't give people their files until it comes out, and everybody's like, oh shit, I forgot how dope Joe was. Like, I don't think niggas like I think people our age like know about Joe. Like, Stella's one of my favorite songs, like RB songs of all time, yeah. So it's like I don't I I think the younger generation might like you know sleep more like I don't think they were really in tune like that. But then I follow like a lot, actually, I wanna low key take that back. I think it depends on your upbringing. I know a lot of people that was like into RB, like that was like yes, way younger than me.
SPEAKER_06I just want to tell y'all, I don't listen to what y'all be listening to. I listen to the RB.
SPEAKER_03She listened to Shabak, Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_05Nah, she gotta get in tune with Mike at him. She knows what she knows. But yeah, so I think it's just a this is just a different, a different effect. Different effect.
SPEAKER_03Nah, for real. And like, like you said, the verses part is good because you bring back these people on stage and they playing songs that you might have forgot about. No, like even if you know the song, you used to rob to it back in the day, you're just like, yo, damn, I forgot he had this in the tuck. So now you listening and it's generating money for those for those people because now everybody going on like Apple Music, Spotify, and they running these songs back, you know.
SPEAKER_05So it's sound, and not for nothing. I mean, they both did, but Joe sounded amazing. He still sounds. He still sounds like he was I said, not down. I didn't want to get into that man. I'm gonna drag that man. He looked fit, though.
SPEAKER_06Okay, we'll go with that. He looked fit, though.
SPEAKER_05We'll go with that. He looked fit though. So speaking speaking about being fitness, being up on top of it, bro. Some fights are worse, and the worst fights are the ones that happen in the courtroom, bro. Right now you got the hedge fund billionaire. I don't want to pronounce his name because I'm gonna get the wall.
unknownI don't know.
SPEAKER_05He's going through a divorce.
SPEAKER_03It's cheaper to keep her.
SPEAKER_05It appears that way.
SPEAKER_03But this is the thing though, right? When they don't want to get kept, you you can't keep him.
SPEAKER_05She filed for the divorce, by the way. So his hedge fund is worth billions.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_05And as they're now in mediation going through the divorce, he offered her 700, 725 million dollars.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_05Tax-free. This is a divorce. This is tax-free money. Oh. It's tax-free. So this is like your net worth is now 700 25 million.
SPEAKER_02That's what's up.
SPEAKER_05Nah, she said no. She wants six billion. That's what she's asking.
SPEAKER_06They got kids?
SPEAKER_05They have two kids, two sons.
SPEAKER_06Six billion.
SPEAKER_05She wants six billion. So it leads you to believe, Jordan. It's never enough. Never enough. And Kendrick Larry. The words of Kendrick Lamar. It's not enough.
SPEAKER_06You're not about to spend this like that. I'm not spending this.
SPEAKER_05720 million, man. It's not enough. All right, Britt. You're the woman that you're the shout out to the shout out to the ladies, y'all. We appreciate y'all. Shout out to the listeners. We back y'all. We even get to announce y'all. We got to 400 subs on YouTube, by the way. Shout out to that. We saw it from zero, so we we're making our way up. Got it for the bottom, yes. Got it for the bottle. Slowly but surely, it's the race to 500. Then we're gonna get to a thousand. And from there, it's up. Making our way through. We appreciate y'all though. Um, Britt, let me ask you this. You're going through, and it always gets personal anytime there's a divorce. It's very rare that it's an amicable divorce where it's like, you take what you want, I'll go my way. Right. I don't know what this lady did before she was a wife or her current career, I really don't know.
SPEAKER_03What does it matter? It wasn't 725.
SPEAKER_05That's that's disrespectful, but fair.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_05But he's offering her the 700. And now her reasoning behind saying no is because she feels like he's hiding assets. Which two things could be true, but if I'm giving you fucking 700 million dollars, he's definitely. I think that's kind of fair. But anyway, my question to you, Britt, is Okay When do you think you should just walk away instead of being resentful and emotional in a breakup? When is the right time? Because now this is where it's now it's getting ugly. It's resentful, it's in the public, it's it's there.
SPEAKER_06I feel like from the beginning, you should just like if he's willing to get because some guys are they've been together for over 20 years.
SPEAKER_05I think they I think they think they started dating in 2002.
SPEAKER_06Do y'all know why she filed for a divorce?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I mean, he's worth billions, it's not that hard. It's it's most likely he's just not giving her the time. Even if it's like cheating and all that other shit, it's most likely he's not giving her another time.
SPEAKER_06But you know, even if he's not giving her the time, usually women stay like because of the money.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but that's the thing. Like, women stay because of the money when the money is not Buku money, let's basically say. That's what I'm saying. This is Buku money. So divorce. So you could leave and still walk off with something good. You know what I'm saying? Compared to like, let's say you with like a multimillionaire, but he only got like 15 million. You might stay because the life you live might be worth it to stay compared to like her, 725 million was the offer.
SPEAKER_05You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's just the offer.
SPEAKER_05That's just the offer.
SPEAKER_06That's not, yeah, like oh, okay, so she's just being greedy right now, and she's being um resentful, maybe.
SPEAKER_05That's what I'm asking. Like, when is the right time to leave? Because people love to not people, but there's times during now, especially it's like the hyper-independent era. I don't need a man, this and that. But now you're taking the man's, which granted, you're entitled to like you guys were married, you were with him when he had nothing to do. You're entitled to something. I mean, trying to say she shouldn't get nothing. That's not what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03I'm saying I still don't think she should get to 725, though. Nah, if you're worth it, if he's worth I'm gonna be honest, I'm gonna tell you. If he's worth six billion, you could give up. I'll break it down once.
SPEAKER_05You could give up $725. If you're worth six billion, you could give up. I think he's worth like $12, actually. Really?
SPEAKER_03So if you could give up this, no, no, I think I think he's worth $12.12, and I think the the hedge fund itself is worth like $18 or something like that. Yeah, so he has the money. Jeeze. He has he has the money. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02No, go ahead. No, God.
SPEAKER_03I was just saying, like, what gives anybody the indication that she should be getting half of what he means the precedent has already been set.
SPEAKER_05The precedent is you get half. That's that is the precedent. Like, we're not he's trying to require reinvent the wheel. That is the that is the precedent.
SPEAKER_03I understand that, right? But my whole thing is why do you deserve half for the work that I've been doing? It's like what they said. I don't think that's fair, bro. You wasn't with me shooting in the gym. They've been thinking that 20 plus years just helped start that company. That's fine. Like, I understand that you lost that you lost time where you could have been doing something else. But you lost time where you could have been doing something else that was not worth 725 million, and that's what I offered you to be able to walk away. That I feel like that's generous enough because how many people in this lifetime could legit say that they could go and spend 725 million? Like 725 million, that's generational money. We're also thinking about the situation from a bulk aspect. We don't have good we don't know when that, but I understand. That's a lifestyle. Like, that's not true. I understand, but even as a lifestyle, like you break down most of these people that have that type of money. Like, let's say even if she spent $20 million a year, that's a whole lot of money to be carrying over with $725 mil. There's no way she's like busting out all of that.
SPEAKER_06Like, you don't know that because, like he said, that's her lifestyle.
SPEAKER_05She already, because from the reports I write, she also wanted, like, I think like 30% of other uh to control it within this company. So for all we know, she might be in finances too much to her own company. Like, but this is the thing is what I'm trying to tell you. Like, if someone, if you've been married to someone who was been in with every realm, like say if you've been married, say you're a rapper and your wife marries you and you got together for 20 plus years, as within that 20 plus years, your wife is gonna know the industry. She's gonna know the ups and downs, she's gonna know the ins and outs. Maybe uh yeah, so I'm saying that you know what I'm saying, especially if you have two kids, like especially if he's always working, like if you're worth that much money, you're you're bringing work, you're bringing your work home. No, a hundred percent. You know what I'm saying? So she has to have an idea of how finances and investing, all that stuff works.
SPEAKER_03100%. But and I'm not saying that she does not deserve a big chunk of money because at the same time, that's still like regardless, that's the the wife you came home to. So, like, you know, you had problems that day, you come home, you better, she's taking care of the kids, she's most likely taking care of the household. She's making things comfortable for you to get for when you come home.
SPEAKER_05That's fine. I don't think she was a stay at home. I mean, I think she would stay at home wife, but I don't think she was really maintained. You were you were that much money, you got nannies and shit.
SPEAKER_03But what I'm saying is really if you to ask for 725 mil. Well, for me to offer you 725 mil, and then you still come back and try to say you want 30% of my billion dollar company, and you still gonna want child support. Like, like you're gonna want things that like it's it's unnecessary. So that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_06How you think this is gonna play out in court?
SPEAKER_03Like it's she gonna be. Well, she she's definitely gonna try to go after the cause. She's gonna get it. Like I said, he definitely got some assets that's offshore, 100%. Because a lot of the stuff that was moving in the companies, at least from what I read, like a lot of stuff just like mysteriously went missing. And usually what that is is like, yo, I'll put this in the Cayman Islands or some shit like that. Like, I'm hiding some money.
SPEAKER_05This nigga's doing money laundering?
SPEAKER_01No, that's not money laundering.
SPEAKER_03It's not, it's not it's not it's not illegal, it's not illegal to put your money offshore. I don't even think he's doing anything. It's just the reason why he put the money offshore is because it doesn't pop up in systems like that. So so that's why she's saying he's hiding the assets, because basically what he's doing is he tucks some of the money away so that when she does go through the divorce, it doesn't pop up like, okay, he has all of this. Yeah. It's like, all right, he has this amount, this is what you could attack, and this is what you could go for. Because people just think automatically it's just like, oh yeah, well, I'm with you, 50%. But it's not always like that, especially when it comes to like multi-billionaires.
SPEAKER_06So she didn't sign a prenup, that's basically it. There was no prenup.
SPEAKER_03No, there was we left that part out.
SPEAKER_05There was no prenup.
SPEAKER_03There was no prenup. There was no prenup. So so like you you go to court just to see what the settlement is. It's not automatically you getting 50%. That's what broke people because of Eddie Murphy.
SPEAKER_05I I I do think that this is a situation where she is gonna get, I think, close to a billion dollars tax free.
SPEAKER_06I don't think so. I don't think they're gonna give her six.
SPEAKER_05I mean, they might not give her two, who knows? And I do think this is a situation where, again, these are rich, these are not even rich, these are wealthy people problems. These are problems that the 0.00% have to deal with.
SPEAKER_03The 1% for sure.
SPEAKER_05And you the situation also takes place to where, as the guy, he's also probably paying the lawyer fees. He's he's coming out in the red. And I'm pretty sure his lawyers are already told or expressed this to him. Like, you're gonna come out having to give her something. And I get what Jordan is saying, but I disagree with a lot of points, but I do get what he's saying where he's more mad at the principal of I'm I'm offering you something, I agree with that. Take this, yeah. And she's like, no, but then this is why I ask you like, when do you realize that yo, she's gonna go, she's like I think men always fear this or have this idea or can or conception of or perception of that, oh, she's a good girl, she'll never do this to me. I tell niggas all the time, say never. Yes, they were a scorned woman will do anything, bro.
SPEAKER_03I don't even think you gotta be scorned. It don't even have to be scorned. Yeah, like it could just be on the principle of like, let's say me and Brittany are about to get a divorce, right? And Brittany's like, yo, we have a conversation, and she's like, just give me 20 million, and then everything will be fine. And then now Brittany go home, and all the homegirls is like, yo, he is worth five billion dollars. Why would you take 20 million? Well, people be in here, yeah, it definitely is a thing. Brittany goes, right? She like, all right, so now the friend's asking her. Then now Brittany on the phone with her mother. Yeah, why would your damn ass take 20 million? He worth it now. That is in the air. So now she just like, you know what, fuck it. Now we have the conversation, and it's like, yo, I thought you was taking 20. And now she like, nah, I need this. So now we get into arguments and now spirals.
SPEAKER_05Well, not to put this guy's business out there, but it is public, but the like the Luca Dantrick situation where that's uh, I'm sure you know who Luca Dontric is the basketball player for the Lakers. The you know who he is if you used to see him, Britt. But um, he's going, he was, he was engaged to his wife, they would I mean fiance, whatever. They now separated, but she's asking for fifty million dollars. That that's flat out. Uh now the things that was crazy was she told the courts, she said. 10 million go to the kids, but I need 40.
SPEAKER_06For what? Why wouldn't it be flat?
SPEAKER_05That's what she said. And so that's why it was like that. And so it was like, I don't know if this is how they do it in Slovenia. I really don't know. Especially, but you know, like we were never married, so I don't know how you even feel like that. Yeah, that's what my nice thing is. That's just what's his childhood uh partner. They were together for almost, I think, a decade, if I'm not mistaken.
SPEAKER_06And she could get money.
SPEAKER_05They were together for a minute. So I don't know how it is out there. Because at one point she even tried to do them dirty and try to have the kids living here. Because you know, in California, California is the rules of they pin you up like an altar for in California. If you're the man, if you're the father, you you cook, my boy. You know what I'm saying? So now so that's like so it's it's this the system is the system is dirty, but the system is the system is crazy, especially when it gets to this point. And people know that. Like she must have them, she has them by the balls at this point. But the billionaire situation is kind of crazy. I I mean, I I think it makes it even worse when there's obviously kids involved in that. Now this coming out in the media, they have two kids out beat there in their teens. It looks crazy.
SPEAKER_03I'll be honest with you. At that point, and you know Joe loves the kids, but at that point, it's definitely fuck them kids. You gotta handle what you gotta handle, bro. She's trying to take half of what you got.
SPEAKER_05So, like I said, but I don't think it's not half, because she went six, he's worth he's on the worth of 12. Yeah, it is half.
SPEAKER_06I mean, yo, but it's I think to answer your question though, for for females, I think it's not female only, because men do this shit too.
SPEAKER_05Right. Especially now. Like Cardi V came out saying the reason why we're not divorced, because offset don't want to sign the papers. Yeah, you've seen how it's not this is not this is not a man versus woman thing.
SPEAKER_06I I think that is what Joelle said, like people get into other people's ears, and then you start looking at stuff like, oh, I'm tripping. Like, you know, you don't think about it first.
SPEAKER_05I mean, I disagree with people getting in your ears to an extent. I think when you're like some, when you have some money, yeah. But when you're worth billions, you know how like you have joint accounts. Like she knows how much money he has. It's not a secret.
SPEAKER_06I think that too. I think that too, and I think, and that's why I said it's not scarred, scarred women or whatever the case may be. I think it's more of like when you know, you know. So it's like, nah, you trying to play me. Like, I'm walking, I'm taking, I'm going hard. Like, I'm about to take everything.
SPEAKER_05These are conversations I think are had amongst couples because I know couples who have told me this before, and they say, hey yo, if we would ever get a divorce, what would you want? And sometimes women are honest, and men vice versa, and they say, Oh no, I'll let you go out, whatever, whatever. But there are some people who, and I'm pretty sure he knew this because he didn't sign the fucking prenup. So I don't want to say she was dumb, but she was, they probably really fucking love each other at one point in time. They got two kids together. Like they probably thought, yo, I'm gonna marry it. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? They they probably thought that, you know?
SPEAKER_03And granted, she was with him when he didn't have as much money. I mean, so so like you know, that's her point as well. Like, I was with you while while everything grew, which I understand when women get to those points where they're like, yo, you grew this company with me being with you.
SPEAKER_05I helped you in a way, right? But again, I don't even know their whole story. For all we know, she could have put money into the company to start it. I I don't, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't I don't know their whole story. Like I said, you know, all that could be true. That's what I'm saying. That's why she might feel she's entitled to so much because she helped start the company. And I know plenty of women who help, like we talk about all the time. There are women who help try to provide for their men who are entrepreneurs and everything else of that nature. They try to do the right thing. So this and that might be that type of situation. So again, we're gonna see how see how it plays out.
SPEAKER_06And it's gonna be nasty.
SPEAKER_05It means it's really nasty. But you're digging with nails on camera, but it's gonna be.
SPEAKER_06Why are you making it hot? I mean, they can see.
SPEAKER_05So speak of making it hot and making comebacks, we saw something crazy this this past week. We saw the return of MySpace.
SPEAKER_06I'm excited for this.
SPEAKER_02I'm excited for it. Excited for the return of MySpace?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I like MySpace. My Space was so let me tell you something.
SPEAKER_02Storytime.
SPEAKER_06Not really a story time, but I never Joe Well, I don't know. We started, you started college like what, a year after me, two years after me, maybe?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, a year after you.
SPEAKER_06Um, I didn't have Instagram on or like what Twitter in college or whatever or in high school. Like I remember that. Yeah, like I only had Facebook or whatever, and then I had MySpace. And then I wasn't into Instagram. I wasn't into Instagram, I wasn't into Twitter, none of that. Eventually I created one, but I really wasn't into it. I wasn't feeling it like that. I was really a MySpace girl. Like, I don't know, I like the music in the background. You changing your background.
SPEAKER_03It was user-friendly. It was very like I was user-friendly while my page was jumping.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, like you can put anything on your page. I feel like Instagram now, like, especially now, how social media is, it just took a turn. Like, Instagram is not Instagram anymore.
SPEAKER_05Well, I think there's two, there's this multi-layer. I think as I want to say a society, we all have a lot of app fatigue. We're tired of these apps, especially with the AI and them trying to make us always buy a product and always in the box and everything like that, like that, of course. Like, we all tired of that shit. But the thing about MySpace was never everybody knows this about MySpace, was the reason why MySpace died because it wasn't user-friendly. After a while, it was only accessed by a computer. They never got they never transferred over to the cell phone. They wasn't, you know, unlike Facebook and everything else. So they they would buy young people, they were like, oh, MySpace had kind of had the BlackBerry effect where, oh, we're number one, there's nobody else that could, you know, keep up with us. And they slowly but surely died. So now when we look at the comeback, and why I said it's uh it's an interesting concept of bringing it back because everybody knows what MySpace is. Like everybody knows, even the younger kids know what MySpace is. So that alone you have the cachet in the bank. Now, again, you won't overtake Instagram and Facebook, everything else overnight, that won't happen.
SPEAKER_03Especially if they combine.
SPEAKER_05Even if even at all, you know what I'm saying? But you just have to, if the right investors are behind it, there's a chance where it can survive. Where if you either, either way, if you make it, like I said, user-friendly, or even where you're not having as many bots to access it, or even if like when it comes to the music, you you get you give artists some revenue to if they if they get enough streams on their platform. Like you have to make it enticive or to where it makes sense.
SPEAKER_03I I think that was one of those things too, that the reason why MySpace was just like so big too, was the fact that it helped explode so many like artists.
SPEAKER_06I remember I used to, y'all remember LimeWire? Yeah, you had to I used to do that to transfer my music over to you, yes.
SPEAKER_03You know, Soldier Boy. I was the I was the first, I was the first on MySpace, bro. And like not only that, like and my don't forget Moffit was the original Tinder. Yeah, they that's too this guy. He's wild. I'm lying, nigga. I'm not lying.
SPEAKER_05Like my fit was the first thing that showed you, like you said you're gonna lie, miles away from you.
SPEAKER_04Like I'm not saying you're loving it, I'm just saying like I'm just saying like you was like, I'm just saying I was taking everything I was shooting, and it's like 11 minutes. Like it was like you had 11 minutes. I'm just saying, like it was it made it known that such and such is like as close to it, and it was a lemon.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_03It was like I don't know about y'all, but what like what was y'all my space? Like, you know, somebody just clicked on your page. What is that first song that just popped up? You know when he had the music videos? Yeah, I don't even remember. That was I know mine. Was we taking over by DJ Khaled? No, it's by DJ Khaled, but it's just but it's because a little way. The Wayne's part, yeah. No. Isn't it like a mama cage?
SPEAKER_05That was a ring, that was my ringtone at one point. Oh, there's a Wayne verse.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So everybody fighting and being your top five. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um Cassie. You know, all the girls had Cassie on their master's page. That was mine.
SPEAKER_05That was my ringtone. Cassie. Yeah, that was basically. If only they knew what was going on. But nah, so it's it's like I said, the nostalgia of MySpace is there, and like I said, they have the cachet and the bank to do these type of things. But it all depends on who's behind the company, who's the driving force, and how they decide to create the algorithm and how they're gonna advance the app because there is a lot of app fatigue, like I said, especially with Instagram and everything else, to where again the Twitter at this point, well, X has basically died, on this has died at this point in time. Nobody uses Twitter as much before because there's so many bots and everything else like that. So it's gonna be interesting.
SPEAKER_06I'm excited. I'm excited for it. Yeah, excited.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah. So we're gonna switch over to the you're gonna we're gonna talk about a segment.
SPEAKER_06First, we got to have the excitement.
SPEAKER_05Big things happened while we were going over the six weeks. LeBron James.
SPEAKER_02LeBron James.
SPEAKER_06It wasn't six weeks.
SPEAKER_05That was six weeks. LeBron James. Yeah. LeBron Jane. LeBron Jane.
SPEAKER_06Talk about it, bro.
SPEAKER_05LeBron James in Philadelphia on the two-year deal. Uh we'll turn over to our LeBron reporter in Cachet.
SPEAKER_03Yes. So we got LeBron joining Philly. You know, everybody was saying, oh, it's a super team, it's a super team. That energy was not like that before LeBron joined. So you know what that means, right? LeBron pushes the needle. He is the needle pusher. And you know what? They also just signed Phil Handy as an assistant coach, right? And that's a big sign, and I'm gonna tell you why. The last time Phil Handy was on a team with LeBron James, LeBron James led the league in assist. Right? So that's big. And also Phil Handy is the guy that can make you go from looking like you can't handle nothing to being able to look like Kyrie Irvin. So I'm excited to see what he can do with Jalen Brown. Because Jalen Brown, I don't know if he can dribble by you, Brett. But yeah, you know, I'm excited to see to see what Philly got to offer. Joel MB look real healthy. I don't know if you've seen us. Yeah, because we ain't playing games yet, nigga.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Look, look, look, you don't gotta do that. Yeah, it's it's an excitement. Nah, but he he looked like he he probably lost like a good 50, 60 pounds. So, you know, excited to see what they could do, you know.
SPEAKER_06You gonna take game?
SPEAKER_03Of course. You seen them ticket prices? It don't matter. Look, look, one thing about me, I'm gonna say this, right? You can't put a price on memories and experience.
SPEAKER_05I got bills, nigga. Um I'm gonna put it like this. Um, but there's a lot of hype around it. Again, I mean, I'm a huge LeBron fan. Um Do I think they're gonna win a championship? I don't, um, simply because there's been no team that's been put together one year and won a championship the following year. It just doesn't happen. It just doesn't happen. Not an NBA, it doesn't. Kevin Durant and the Warriors. They didn't win their first year. Yes, they did. I don't remember the winning. And it's not nearly the same thing. They had a two-peak, my guy. Yeah, they did have a two-peak. I don't think they won it first. I mean, they did, but again, that's the exception to the not that's the exception, not the rule. Like, you can't make the exception the rule. I'm just saying, so I mean I've I've seen way too much with Philly to know with the Embiid struggles. And the uh I've seen ways I've seen the story enough times, and hey, we'll we'll see what happens. But they they they strike no fear in my heart as a coming off of the it's just because he's a Knicks fan. Coming off of the trophy. Coming off of the chip. Y'all already know our strike Jalen Brunson. You know what? It's still Knicks and five till we do a die. He's capping.
SPEAKER_03I'm not look look, we love Jalen Brunson on this side of the couch. Oh, you know, this side of the chair, I mean. We love we love Jalen Brunson, but the Knicks, you know, one and done. No, are you just expecting one and done? Philly coming out of the east. LeBron James getting number five. Stamp it. We're gonna go back to this episode later on. Well, I guess next year. We're gonna go back to this episode and we're gonna see LeBron James. Yes, sir. Uh-huh. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05No. Um Britt we're gonna sist over to one more thing in regard to the splits before we get into the HBCU segment. Is I don't know if you saw this, Britt, but Baker Mayfield plays quarterback for the you know what the quarterback is, right? Yes. Uh you're in the chat. You're in the chat, you're getting it. Cody is a football guy, so I thought she was gonna say Cory played quarterback.
SPEAKER_01He's a he's a Rams fan.
SPEAKER_05Is he really?
SPEAKER_01He's a Rams fan.
SPEAKER_05What team with the team with the Rams fan?
SPEAKER_01LA. Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_06No, don't dab me up. You're trying to play. He's trying to play me. He's trying to play me.
SPEAKER_05But nah, so Baker Mayfield plays quarterback for the Rams. This is a crazy, I mean, for the he did at one point play for the Rams, but he plays for Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And the crazy thing is that the reporter asked him, yo, how are things with your uh with your family going? So Baker Mayfield was part of a I don't want to say a fraud scheme or anything. His pa his his brother and father his brother and father stole $12 million from him. Fallout stole it. $12 million? Well, Fallout stole it. And so apparently he was going through court and he basically said, I don't want to have to get the reason why he sued them is because I don't want to have to get the authorities involved. So he went through civil court. And so there's he but he didn't say that hey, we're made, we we we made up, we're we've rekindled. He wants his uh his father to see his grandkids or anything of that nature. A lot going on there.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_05Okay, Britt. So I want to ask you. Family s someone from your family still has $12 million. Are you able to forgive? No. They forget.
SPEAKER_06They better give me back.
SPEAKER_05You are a Jehovah's Witness.
SPEAKER_06You are the one that you I'm not baptized, so. You say you the one that knocked from door to door to door. I'm not baptized. I grew up in a noble. Um, but yeah, no, they gotta get that back.
SPEAKER_05You can't get back if you don't have it. Clearly they don't have it because they stole it.
SPEAKER_06By the way, they better figure it out. Somebody better find it. So they better figure it out.
SPEAKER_03I'm just saying, he got 12 million reasons not to say a goddamn word to the motherfuckers for the rest of his life. I mean, nah, Brad. Look, I mean it's one thing to steal from me. Nah, I'm gonna be honest with you. To steal is crazy.
SPEAKER_02To steal is crazy. It like definitely is crazy.
SPEAKER_03Like to steal it. The fact that you had the capability to s to actually steal $12 million from me, that like what bounds with.
SPEAKER_05So I don't know how accurate this is not to control this. He only has a network of $55 million. I don't think that's right. I feel like he's made way more money in his career.
SPEAKER_03Nah, but but he might have made more, but you gotta think about how many people he's busting down.
SPEAKER_05No, no, I'm not saying this. I'm just saying how much he's made so far. I feel like he's made way more than $55 million.
SPEAKER_06But I can't forgive.
SPEAKER_05Yo, I know family members who have fights over $20.
SPEAKER_03That's a fact. We saw those, remember the the last part we did? We talked about the guy who killed his niece over like a.
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah, over the house at Mount Vernon, yeah, for the for the lead of the house. Yeah, 100%. That is true. I mean, I I see it, I see it both ways. I feel like as a as a leader of a company, which is what the quarterback is, he's uh pictured as the CEO of the company. I feel like for him to take that leadership and say the right things, hey, I forgave him. That's all well and good. Like as the as the quarterback of the team, that's what you want to hear if you're a family fan. As a man, I don't know what I would possibly say, but there's been we've seen this happen with celebrities and people who are wealthy who say this all the time. Like, eventually, the biggest obstacle to become rich is your family. They are the ones who who who could always eventually bring you down.
SPEAKER_06Not even when you're rich, like in general.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, like if people think that you got audio and they know that you can't say no, you have a hard time saying no. And it's not even about saying no, because they flat out, they flat out stole it. So it's not even about that's and this is and I I was reading online where people were saying, Yo, how can Baker be so stupid, blah, blah, blah? Like, yo, if you're a professional athlete, Britt, your main priority is playing sports. You're not handling the day to the daily, daily expenses, you're not doing none of that. I'm pretty sure his father's probably the power of attorney, he was probably making all the decisions in regards to his contract and everything like that. I mean, in regards to his account or whatever the case may be.
SPEAKER_03Not to mention, but like his whole life, his family just had money. Like, he he's one of those trust fund baby kids. So he's probably used to his dad just having money. So it's something that you wouldn't expect. Like the word betrayal, like, you know, that's not a word that you could just use for anybody. That's true. You know, a a random person can't betray you. You can only get the portrayal from people that you love, that you're not gonna be able to get it.
SPEAKER_05This is the ultimate betrayal. Like, this is a situation where he had again every rich way to trust your family, your trust your the as a as a as a man, and one person I'll trust before myself would be my would be my parent. Yeah, especially my father, you know what I'm saying? So I I think it it's it's a really unfortunate situation. But I mean, I don't want to say unfortunate, I want to say thankfully, because it seems that they are making amends.
SPEAKER_06I need that back.
SPEAKER_02I don't care. I'm gonna be honest with you. I need that back. No holidays, no nothing, no birthday wishes, nothing.
SPEAKER_06I need that back.
SPEAKER_02I never trust you again.
SPEAKER_0612 mil, bro. I need that back. I need that back.
SPEAKER_05So there's nowhere you could like.
SPEAKER_03I ain't gonna lie. My brother spit take 50k from me. I ain't never speaking to him again. That's crazy. Because it's me. So what's the threshold? It there's no threshold, I'm gonna be honest with you, because like it's me. If you need something, I'm the type of person I'm gonna give it to you. And I'm pretty sure, like, I ain't gonna I ain't gonna say Baker giving them 12. But like, you know, if they run on some hard times, the way they family worked was like everybody got money, everybody worked. Maybe everybody had this. Oh, I'm gonna build this. Maybe everybody had money. Maybe I don't know. But like the way their family worked, it was everybody working to build the network together. Like, even Baker's brand in college and stuff like that, his family did a lot of work to help build that brand. So I'm pretty sure it's-when the Heisman. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be, it was not one of those situations where like, oh, you in trouble, you drown and then I ain't gonna help you. But the fact that you stole a shit, that's where it's like, how can I fuck with you again? When I'm the type of person I am to help you out.
SPEAKER_05That's true. Yeah, he did when the Heisman 2017. I thought he did. On the Lincoln Riley, yeah, Oklahoma.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I need that back. I'ma just keep saying that.
SPEAKER_05You know, let me ask you this, Bert. What do you think as a family, what do you think is the ultimate portrayal as a family member? Because people say family, we're just relatives. If we share blood, we're just relatives. Family is like the family is the bond. Like, like you know what I'm saying? Like family is the, yo, because we got friends that we consider family that's we f as opposed to relatives that we don't even we don't even talk to, you know what I'm saying? So what do you think is the ultimate portrayal as a family member?
SPEAKER_06I think it's stealing this situation right here. Because especially if you it's the type of like how Jawa was saying, if you need something and I got it, I got you. So why do you feel like you you need to steal it?
SPEAKER_05Like Well, we don't know also if he the family, the dad might have asked him, he said no.
SPEAKER_03I mean, that's possible.
SPEAKER_06Maybe because he's always asking or something like that. I don't know. We don't know the end and out. For me, I said I would set you up to get money with me.
SPEAKER_05So that you don't know that's the Memphis Bleak and Jay-Z thing that people were talking about.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, like I would set you up to get money with me. However, money shows you the greed and how it's not the money, it's the people who want it. Exactly. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03So that's why 725 should have been enough.
SPEAKER_05It's not wrong.
SPEAKER_06Yo, I cannot.
SPEAKER_05So speaking of right and wrong, we're gonna switch over to a trending topic that was trending for about a couple weeks. Uh we were gone. It's the HBCU, I believe, I've got name I forgot the name of the university, Jordan, but I'll turn to you, where they have implemented the rule where there's no longer you can no longer wear do rags and what's those things that you don't bonnets to class.
SPEAKER_06Wait, what was you about to say though?
SPEAKER_05I said I forgot the name of them drones. I don't know. Jordan, what do you think about that?
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna be honest with you. Like, first off, wearing a wearing a bonnet to class is crazy. Like, I'd much rather you wear a do-rag to class than a bonnet. What's the difference? There's a big difference because like people some people sometimes wear do rags to like keep their hair intact as far as like yo, you know. I mean, wear bonnets to keep their hair in. But like I might be sweating today, stuff like that, throw it under a hat, anything like that, right? Granted, don't have your shit out like you fit, like, not 50 cent, but like you you motherfucking one of them dudes from the south where you just got it hanging down in class because like you know, this is the right.
SPEAKER_05Well, not to cut you up, it's gonna be a Tuskegee, Tuskegee University is the one that's gonna be.
SPEAKER_03Oh wow. No, wow, and and it's Tuskegee. Right. Like the airmen. But um, yeah, like this is a professional setting. So, like, we want you to look professional, not like you just rolled out of bed and was just like, yo, fuck that, I'm going to class today just because I'm going to class. Because I barely made it today. That's what a bonnet looks like to me. Like when it's outside. I'm not gonna lie to you. Like, don't get me wrong, you wear your bonnets and stuff like that because you need it to protect your head. But the fact that you're wearing it in a professional setting, that to me gives off an energy that people want you to look like. Because you're going to an HBCU. So people want you to look like you're this unprofessional person that just don't give a fuck about life. And so when you wear stuff like that to class, when you're supposed to be getting your education and being professional, it gives off the energy that they want you to present.
SPEAKER_06Okay, I could agree with that. Um, so first, this was something before the HBCU, this was something they were talking about in airports, like females going to the airports and bonnets. That was trending before, like females going to the airports and bonnets and different things like that. Bonnets in class, I feel like if you go to HBCU or whatever, right?
SPEAKER_05It doesn't have to be HBCU, by the way.
SPEAKER_06Like no, but I'm saying like because we don't see white people wearing bonnets. We don't see white people.
SPEAKER_05I mean, say, no, I was saying, like, I see white, I see black, I've seen black women on campus at other schools, and that that are.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, of course, yeah. Like wearing pajamas to class and different things like that. Like so I think that it is a good rule that you should come dressed to class as as if you're in a uniform or something like that. Like you should be professional. I agree with that part. I I feel like in the airport though, like I know me. As soon as I get on a flight, I'm going to sleep. So If my hair is done for the vacation, I'ma want to tie it up or whatever like that. I'm not about to I'm not saying I wear a bonnet throughout the airport, but if I got a scarf on, like to just hold my wig down or something like that, like I'm not taking that off to go do TSA to get on the plane to put it right back on.
SPEAKER_05Like I feel like I mean that's kind of crazy. I I I didn't I didn't see that trend about where it was a trend.
SPEAKER_06Because girls was going with their bonnets on.
SPEAKER_05Which I don't think is an issue.
SPEAKER_06I don't think that's an issue.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't think it's a-more of like a laid back setting. Yeah, right. Exactly.
SPEAKER_06So now back to in school, I do agree that you should dress, but we've seen people wear pajamas and you know, different to school.
SPEAKER_05No, I'll go I was gonna have a thought, but I'll go through it.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah. Like to class and stuff like that. Pajamas and uh, you know, they come to class. You wake up, especially when you got them 9 a.m. and you come to class, whatever you got on, like or whatever. I personally never did that. I always I'll say between freshman and software, yeah. Like I got dressed. Even at one point I was wearing like heels or wedges to class, like looking professional or whatever, and then I like died down and started just casual, something calm, flip-flops, ugs, just calm. But in the beginning, I was like dressing up and different things like that. I don't know. It's each its own, but I do feel like bonnets and do wags is crazy.
SPEAKER_05Do you want to be a champion? Do you want to succeed in life? You have to do the work. You want one of these right here in your life, you gotta do the work. I'm with Jordan, and I guess kinda with you, Britt. I can't stand seeing bonnets in life, actually. At all? I can't stand seeing bonnets. Really? I'm I hate it.
SPEAKER_03Nah, the bonnet at home is yeah, in the crib is fine.
SPEAKER_05In the crib is fine. Okay. I'm talking about outside, like an outside side. Oh, outside? Yeah, outside. Because my thought process with the bonnet and the same thing with pajamas, it's all the same and crocs. You can ask anybody that knows me. You thought that stuff is for a home setting because now you're gonna bring all that dirt back into the house.
SPEAKER_06Wait, you don't wear you don't like crocs outside?
SPEAKER_05Nah. Really? You know me almost almost six months, you've never seen me in crocs. You never were. I don't own a single pair of crocs. Why? You don't have ever seen me in crocs. Why though? I just don't I just don't like them. I've just never been a fan with them. Like for kids, I feel like for kids, I feel like they're great for kids. For kids, it's the perfect shoe. Okay. But as an adult, I've never seen it. Really? I've never owned a pair in my life. Never owned a pair. Wow, that's it. Now, going to the pajamas, it's the same thing. Now, again, granted, people may say, and I hate when people say, oh, these are my outside pajamas. I only wear these outside. I never wear them inside the house. I don't put them on the bed. That's what people say. Yes, we say that. In college, I had a woman who said that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, people say that.
SPEAKER_05Hey, go to class and his pajamas. Oh no, he's just full for my outside channel. That's just crazy. That's dirty.
SPEAKER_06I mean, I don't own pajamas to wear them outside.
SPEAKER_05So it's just like anyways, they're sleeping clothes. What's the point? And the same thing with the bonnet. It's meant for you to be in the house or go to sleep. Like, so you so people wear it, then you're outside in it all day, then you come back home. It's just to me, it's just so it's just not walking.
SPEAKER_06Okay, I'll say this, right? Sorry to cut you off. I own a pair of crocks. I own like a pair of crocks or whatever. If I'm gonna say, like, it's something happening, and I'm like, oh shit, I need to run to the store real quick, like literally five minutes away, and I got a bonnet on, I ain't gonna lie, I'm gonna throw in my crocks. I'll run outside with my bonnet. I'll I'll have one maybe something like this with my bonnet, because I'm gonna feel like gluing down my wig or whatever the case may be. Or whatever the case may be. Me, and I'm gonna start looking like Cleo real quick with my bonnet on. Cleo. And I'ma go get it. I'ma give you books. I'ma go get, you know, whatever I need from the store and come right back in. However, the clocks is a no-shoe policy in my in my crib. So clocks come off at the door or whatever, and the bonnet it'll come off because I'll be walking around the house looking like Cleo if my wig not on, and then that's it.
SPEAKER_05Was you like this in campus too, on campus? What? Where he was like, you can't sit on my bed, which I was like, oh. Make sure. I was a butt-ass naked before I lay down. You know what I'm saying? So, but now to answer your question, uh so I'm okay with this being of who we're implementing it because I do believe in setting people up for success. And the argument that people make is well, I gotta get up at 8 o'clock and go to class. Nigga in the world, you gotta get up at 8 o'clock and go to work. Like that's not a bad excuse. I feel like we're at this too oftentimes we pamper to children because we don't want them to be so uncomfortable. But in order to be successful in life, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. And I think this is one of these situations where, well, there's nothing wrong with you know waking up five, ten minutes earlier, brushing your hair. Now, granted, I do believe there should be some exceptions, which I think the exception should be if there's a test, it'll be okay. Because for some people, like I was like this, where I'm doing, I'm up to like three or four o'clock studying for a final, I feel like it'll be okay to say, all right, today you could wear whatever, because I know you might been up all night, whatever you come take a test, that's all well and good. There should be exceptions. The same way you go to work, casual father. I feel like those are. Whatever the fuck, yeah, whatever you want to call it. Yeah, like that's an exception that can be made. But for a standard as a university, I'm perfectly okay with this. And the things I saw online, which was like kind of, I don't want to say disheartening, but I was like, this is why I tried not to read comments was people saying, Oh, you can't tell me I gotta pay what to pay, you can't tell me I have to pay such and such and have to dress a certain way. I'm like, you go to a club, they tell you you gotta, you can't wear heels in this club, you don't wear heels, you still pay to get in. You get what I'm saying? So well vice versa.
SPEAKER_06Like, this the what's going on generation, you mean? Yeah, it's crazy. Like, I I read something the other day, like, we really used to write five-page essays. You mean by hand? By hand. Like, we really used to work draft.
SPEAKER_04Give this person to peer review your shit.
SPEAKER_05Yo, change.
SPEAKER_06We really used to write.
SPEAKER_05You have to print out the resources.
SPEAKER_06Yo, I and I just look back and I'm like, even when it comes to like working or different, like, I feel like I'll say 30 and younger, right? Feel like they don't everybody owes them something.
SPEAKER_05The entitlement, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like they're because they they feel like life should be fair and they don't understand. Fair given to them. Yeah, it's given to them. No, but but that's the fairness, right? Because this person automatically gets this, I should automatically get that too.
SPEAKER_06And it's like, it don't work that way. Like, I remember having a conversation with someone, and I was like, yo, like, since I was 13. That was crazy, Jay. I had a conversation. You know what? I'll even do you one better. I have a Brista, right? Don't be looking for no nigga like me, man. I love the game. Anywho.
SPEAKER_01I love the hustle, man.
SPEAKER_06So my Brista, right? She's younger than me. She's 22 now. Her birthday just passed. Shout outs to the Leo gang. Oh, shout out to her.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so yo, Pops just was like, yo, we only dropping them in one month.
SPEAKER_06We're the best. You have to. But anywho, no, so me and her have a conversation. I'm like, yo, I used to have like two and three jobs since 14 years old. Like, I would leave one job, have a weekend job, like, and I would still go out, party, all that stuff, because I wanted shit. I never, I never felt like I wanted to ask my mom or father for anything. Like, I just wanted it. And plus, sometimes you you asking us like I gotta wait, or I don't get it when I want it, or it's just, nah, I'm gonna get it myself. So I was telling her that, and she was just like, I don't want to do that. Like, I I don't, why do I need two in three jobs? I don't want to be that person. I'm like, girl, you tripping.
SPEAKER_05Like, I mean, one, throwing your sister under the bus right here is crazy. On but that's all good. I respect it. I love it. I'm all here for it. Let's side note real quick. I had no idea. I learned this over the weekend. Not to say my sisters are beefing because they're not, but this is due conversation with other friends that they have and talking to my father about something. I had, I was always under the idea of I grew up as the only child until most recently recently. My my youngest sister is eight. So I always under the impression that, well, backtrack, my sisters are my cousins, I just call her my sister.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_05But um, I was always always under the impression that siblings are always the best of friends. There's a lot of people out there that do not talk to their siblings.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I had no idea it was this rampant. I had no idea, nigga.
SPEAKER_06I was the only child until 21. Yeah. If I'm doing my math correctly. I was the only child until 21. So I was always like the social butterfly I had, like, wanted a lot of friends, because I was the only child or whatever. And um they had sisters and brothers, and I realized their friendships or their relationships wasn't.
SPEAKER_05They're down tight. Like it's like I I I listen, bro. I I I had no idea, bro. Yeah. And it's great, like, so I want to I don't want to say fortunate, but even when it comes to like relationships sniffing others, for the most part, all of my exes that I've had, they've had siblings, but they were like, they've had their they've had like their big like blow-ups or fights or whatever. But they were still like close, you know, it's still like this.
SPEAKER_03Like us. Huh? That's kind of like us, you know, like from my mom's kids.
SPEAKER_05But no, no, that's what I'm saying, but I know, but I mean from what I know, y'all I've always seen like you still definitely be having our beef stuff.
SPEAKER_03But y'all still like talk, though.
SPEAKER_05I've I've seen it like over the past, I want to say, like a couple months now, and I've been mainly talking about it on the podcast. I especially even on social media, people say, Oh, I don't talk to my brother, I don't talk to my it's like a it's like a thing. So it's I'm I just think about it, yo, that's crazy. Especially I think about them all from the parents' perspective, it's like to have these two kids grow up in the same house and then estrange from each other. And and it might be because niggas don't be willing to admit it, sometimes, especially as parents, and we're gonna talk about this later in one of the other segments. Sometimes your kids be weird, bro. That's not talked about enough. Some of your kids be weird. You can raise in the right way, but people develop their own personalities and you know them do what they want to do.
SPEAKER_03But you know what it boils down to too? Because like when you grow up with a lot of siblings or just like in a household with siblings, right? Your parents kind of define some of what your relationship is with how they interact with each child. Especially because, like, sometimes you'll have a situation where like this kid, like you said, they'll do some weird shit. And just like, why the fuck did you do that? And now you just trigger somebody, and now the parent know that shit was wrong with that this person did, and instead of them like letting them know, they won't say shit. They got favorites, but then that other kid does some shit, and now you're jumping on them.
SPEAKER_05I don't know if you want to say on camera, but especially I know even friends I don't know, apparently they always admit, oh I'm not my I'm not my parents' favorite.
SPEAKER_03Oh no, I'll I'm the favorite everywhere I go. But I'm talking about in regards to your guards to your siblings. No, that's not me being I'm not saying you won't, but I'm just saying like the child, I feel like as a favorite wherever I go is not crazy, but like I'm gonna do it.
SPEAKER_05I mean it is, but I'm just I'm gonna let it be.
SPEAKER_03But when I say that, I mean it as far as like, so alright, so like now I'm not at home, right? So it's like my mother and my sister, they roll those, they do everything together. But then like you'll even ask my mother's friends, and they'll be like, yeah, but Jordan is the favorite, right? And they're not really saying that as far as like, yo, he's really like the one that she's gonna do whatever for, but it's just like the dynamic and relationship of like how me and my mother grew up, we grew up together. So the relationship we have is like it's like a little different from like a mother and a son. It's more like we like we homies, right? So that's why other people would see that. My grandmother, you know, it's a lot of it's a lot of her grandkids that like to think they the one. But everybody knows I'm the favorite.
SPEAKER_06Like, do you feel like you're not the oldest, are you? Yes, you are the oldest.
SPEAKER_05I call one of my mom's grandmother on my father's side. I tell you, I'm gonna I'm the least favorite grandchild.
SPEAKER_06Why do you say that? That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's always crazy. The least favorite is crazy because the least favorite always be trying to do shit to try to get like be the favorite. Not to get be the favorite, but to just like get some points. Like, grandma, I love me.
SPEAKER_05I'll be trolling. She called me for father's day. Oh, when she called me for my birthday, I was like, what's up, grandma? She's like, hey, what's up, my least favorite grandchild? So she phase She plays into the joke now. She plays it to the joke. Yeah, it's crazy. But um, so speaking of parents, and we might as well just segue into it. It's a perfect segue, Jordan. What happened in Georgia? I believe this was last year, two years ago, the school shooter in Georgia. I believe he killed two people injured like over like 14, I believe. Okay. It was 16, I don't remember his name.
SPEAKER_03I remember that junk.
SPEAKER_05But um, so what's interesting though was he was sentenced to life, which is great. Life that's all well and good. But they kind of set the precedent, the precedent in Georgia where the father got 15 years. So yeah, the father got 15 years for in prison. Oh. And essentially their reason behind it was they knew that his they knew that his son had issues and he still made the firearm accessible and led to the shooting. So uh who wants to go first?
SPEAKER_03I mean, I'm all for charging the parents when it comes to situations like this. Because one, if you don't get your kid help when you know they need help, right? I'm not gonna a hundred percent blame the child because they need help and they are not the ones to access that. You as a parent have to access that when you know it's a problem. Another thing too is I can't remember if it was this situation or if it was another situation where parents got charged, but like they're buying guns with your account. They're using your name. This was the false gun. Oh, okay. Right. So yeah, like you don't have your you don't have your stuff locked up like put locked up, right? And it's accessible to these to these kids when you know your kid has a problem. Um like I said, there was another situation where like the kid bought parents in the like bought guns in the parents' name, delivered it to the house, parents find out they that the guns was bought and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_05You might have been talking about the one that's got you, it might have been talking about the one that happened in 2024 in Michigan with that parent, there was a shooter and that parent was sentenced to 10 years.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and like be like you knew that the guns was bought in your name and you just didn't do anything about what did you think your kid was buying guns for?
SPEAKER_05Oh no, I'm sorry, I was mistaken. But this the the son with the gun was gifted to him by the father.
SPEAKER_03No, wait, the gun was gifted?
SPEAKER_05I mean, that's not idle, like in the south, that's not idle. That's not idle.
SPEAKER_03And don't get me wrong, like, so me, I'm like, I'm gonna make sure, like, because I don't have kids yet, but when I do, I'm gonna make sure that they do have gun awareness just so that they know, like, yo, this is not a toy, this is a tool to be used, and like, you know, so they have the wherewithal to know like this is not something to play with. Right? So I'm gonna teach my kids that. But at the same time, if I like you are aware with the problems that your kids have, right? So if you know that something is not right, why would you gift your son a gun? Or why would you make sure they have access to that kind of stuff?
SPEAKER_05I think it's uh uh Victoria. Did you want to go with one minute? Uh I I don't I think this is definitely a slippery slope because they're setting a precedent for something that is gonna evolve into something more, which I'll be I'll be okay with if this is by the way.
SPEAKER_03What love it, slippery slope.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that is gonna uh lead to, which again, I I I phrase it by saying I'll be okay with this if it happens this way, because within the inner city, there's a lot of shootings that happen where they have a kid who like shoot two or three people. We just saw that happen in the bronx. And now, should that parent be charged? Again, like I said, I know it's a different state, but this is what I believe is gonna lead to, which again I'll be okay with to an extent, because I feel like not often is this too much time off too too often than not, where there is a kind of I don't believe monsters raise monsters. I never believed in that. I do believe that you can raise your kid the right way and they could end up doing certain things. But I do believe as parents, you you neglectful or you would oh that's okay. He's just he's just weird. He's just that. No, your kid has problems. Issues. Your kid has issues.
SPEAKER_03You could also help the environment too. And if you're not environmental sometimes, right?
SPEAKER_05And if you're not giving him the resources or giving him resources that would end up harming him, i.e., give him a rifle, which I granted, I get the south is a different culture, and too many people up north, oh, this is why gun out there hunting and stuff is normal. Yeah, that's not that's a normal thing, which again I'm cool with. That's that that's within the culture, that's what you guys do. You're not hurting nobody. I'm pretty sure the rifle was given to hunt, not to do a fucking school shooting, but it just worked out that way. So this is why I'm okay. But I do think 15 years is a 15. That's successful. 15, I feel like is strong. Well, 15 is again the South, especially in Georgia, they don't play when it comes to the law, but 15 is a that's a lot.
SPEAKER_03Like, at the same time, what knowledge did you have of his situation? Like, yeah, like if it was on some shit, right? Like Jalen's my son, and Jalen been like he been saying some crazy shit about actually killing people, I don't know if I'm getting Jalen a gun. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06I think that if you do get the gun, right, because hunting is a part of like their everyday life sometimes, right? Or whatever is like a sport, it's a sport to them, right? If you do get the gun, it's like, hey, this is your gun for when we go hunting, but it's gonna be locked up. Like only me and your mom will have it, and you will only be able to use it when if your child has an issue like that, or whatever the problem may be, if you know your child has it's okay to wanna hunt and give your give your son a gun. However, if you know that child has issues, or if you found something where it's like, oh nah, I can't trust him with this gun, it should be locked up, or it should be kept somewhere where he don't even know. Right. Or whatever, like that. That was my thoughts. And then my also I think that parents should be held accountable if they're not. No, no, I think we all agree on that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, like I just so you think do you think 15 years is too much then?
SPEAKER_06Oh yes, definitely.
SPEAKER_05So real quick, Jordan, just so according to PBS.com, the family was interviewed in 2023 in regards to ignoring red flags, some red flags were ignoring online threats and his love for mass shootings. Uh, he had a strong obsession for direct warnings and it ignoring law enforcement all the time. The biggest red flag, as I said, was the deteriorating mental health and his obsession with mass shooters online researching.
SPEAKER_03So that's obviously.
SPEAKER_05I mean, obviously, yes. But my thing is as a parent, I do that with my kid, but she's 13. I don't know at what age as a parent do you stop checking your child's online history. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I don't think you ever should be able to do that. Yeah, I as long as they live in your house.
SPEAKER_05That's what I'm saying. That's true. This is why I'm saying it's a slippery slope, because at what point do you say, yo, he's 16, let him, he can it's it's kind of it's a slippery slope. That's what it is a slippery slope.
SPEAKER_03But I think like like what Brit said, like, kind of makes sense in the in the sense of like, yo, if you don't trust the kid, I I don't even know if like locking up is a thing. I why would I get you a gun if I don't trust you?
SPEAKER_05No, that's so and that's a yes and no. I could gift you the gun, but it stays in my room.
SPEAKER_03No, but why would I like if I don't trust you, why would I gift it to you?
SPEAKER_05So I mean, as a I could like I said, I'm not his parent. I'm not never I I don't think I'm raising a school shooter. So I can only speak in the asset, in the sense of that they might have seen a kid going down the wrong path and seeing that he did have an accession with guns. So, oh, let me try and get closer to him, let me take you shooting and get you this, but it should have been under lock and key. That's like if a kid, if your kid and your child acting up in school, but you know he wants to PlayStation 5 to keep him happy, well, buy him this. And so I think it's just a different degree, again, level of parenting to where they were obviously doing doing him more harm than good because they wasn't aware of certain issues. But I do think them just buying him the gun might have just been like, okay, it could be by us buying, I could show him this and that, and just didn't think it'll be a good idea.
SPEAKER_03I I think it also just falls down to the problem of like, and like I said, I'm not a parent, so I can't really tell you exactly what parents think. But there is a culture, and like, because I used to work in a school, so I seen it. My mother works in a school. So you see it when it comes to like certain parents, and they don't want to admit certain things when their kids do have like the mental health problems or stuff like that, or like they don't want to take the steps to actually help the kid because uh they will feel embarrassed or something like that, or they they feel as if like it's nothing wrong with their kid, so they're not gonna expose them to this type of like you know, lifestyle. But you know, it's just you being naive. If you if your kid needs help, it's nothing wrong with that. It doesn't, it doesn't change anything that that your kid is, the fact that they may need help in certain areas. Because you get them that help, maybe things will change.
SPEAKER_05Again, we also don't know. Like the city is probably, I think I think the city with it living in the city, I think they're more advocates of resources and helping kids out that way. In the South, I don't think they're that as those resources aren't as prominent as they are in New York City. That's just I'm just a guess from that. Especially in this sounds like it's a small ass fucking town. I never even heard of in Georgia. So I don't even think those are signs. What's the time? It was like Alpa Chanchi. I wasn't even in high school, I don't even know the name of the uh happening, Gary, Georgia.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I heard of Gary.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I I couldn't even tell you where that's at.
SPEAKER_06My grandfather's from Wednesday. Small town, okay. Yeah, it's a small town.
SPEAKER_05So that's something I I don't think they have those type of resources to really help you out. And if you do need the resources, you probably gotta drive to a bigger city to probably get them. So again, I think like I said, this is a slippery slope where I think a lot of uh the the parent wasn't the only person to fail the kid, but the parent is the one to be held responsible the most because it is your child.
SPEAKER_06But I also want to piggyback on what Joel was saying because I honestly and I see it, I used to be a teacher as well, and I still work with kids or like you know, I work for like giving out like resources or whatever to parents, helping parents. And I feel like help me!
SPEAKER_00Help me, nigga!
SPEAKER_06Like people are just having children and doing it.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's a different, that's a whole different aspect.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, like they don't know what to do.
SPEAKER_05That's a different thing, what how and they let Instagram help them raise their kids, which is also a different problem.
SPEAKER_06Like, it's so crazy. Common sense is not so common. Like, the things I hear from parents or the things I see, I'll be like I mean, it's all I mean.
SPEAKER_05I had that my sister, but my sister was a teacher, but she's the main thing she was just saying, and that was other friends was the worst part about being a teacher sometimes is like it's not only it's not dealing with the students, it's dealing with the parents because you see how much they don't care. It's not the kids, and then you see how much yo, this kid doesn't have a doesn't have a chance. And that's why I also this is a different topic. That's why I hate the conversation. People say, Oh, you can be whatever you want. No, you cannot. There are some people who are not gonna have it. It's not, it's not, it's not, yo, bro. It sounds crazy, but like, it doesn't, but it's real life shit, bro. It's like, yo, it's you got it for the ask. No, I don't, nigga, I'll I said what I said because at the end of the day toxic jazz. It's the only reason why I said it is because, bro, it's hard enough as it is in life in general, without without the obstacles, to have parents who don't fully support you and then think that you could. Blow up again, there is some exceptions to the rule, but that doesn't make it to the rule.
SPEAKER_03But I think that's why the asterisk is there because like it all like to me education in general or like education in general or what you could do in life, it it does not revolve around school and people don't understand. Which is fine, but it's home life. What you do at home, what you see in your home. Not only that, but kids are gonna retain information by keep feeding it to them. So if they're only fed that information in school, yeah, you can't become no president, or you can't become the mayor, you can't become an astronaut. Because when you go home, all you're doing is just not focusing on that same educ like information that you're getting. You're just like fucking watching SpongeBob, you're fucking playing Roblox and shit like this, or they like you're not retaining any of the information.
SPEAKER_06It's also a bigger issue of you have some parents that don't have time to do that because they gotta work to afford to keep their child in a home doing this and having a.
SPEAKER_05This is what we talked about the other time. We talked about the um with uh uh what's with uh what's the bestie's name? With Yolanda, where we talked about is it about you a bad parent if you always got to work all the time? She said yeah, and I disagree with coming, yo, that's not that's not saying because especially with this economy, yeah, even living in the city, but everyone doesn't have Section A or something where they could afford or have the leniency, especially if they're a single parent, where they have to pay the rent, the car know everything else, or they gotta do the double or the triple shift, don't can't afford the baby, so you gotta stay with the godfather. Like these are real life problems that some people don't have. And again, and it's not only that, because there are some people who might do everything right, and a child could have one bad night where they're in their own car or they're in a car accident. Or they like that life is life, life, life be life in, bro. That's what I've been saying.
SPEAKER_03But it's also about cultivate cultivating your village as well. Because if you a parent that can't be there, like who's the person that's watching your kid? But if you don't have a village, a lot of people don't have that, bro. Yeah, you but it that's the thing. If you don't have a village, then you still have to find other other resources to do. Because, like, granted, you might not have somebody that could watch your 12-year-old after school, but there's a there's a uh community center that's open. And you don't know who works in that community center. You don't know who's in that community center, but your kid being in that community center is still different from him being on a block. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, as far as like when I say cultivating your village, I mean like you might not have a village, but you may have someone that can help you out. Or you may or you may have that village. So if you gotta work all day, you gotta make sure this it's still a good environment around you. Like, I didn't learn to read from my mother, I learned to read from one of my cousins.
SPEAKER_05Right. All right, so speaking of villages, let's move on to the village that was happening in Pennsylvania. Your oma to Penn State. It was a village.
SPEAKER_06He got on the shirt.
SPEAKER_05Talk about it's it's cloudy today, and the dark cloud has not left Penn State since Sandusky.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy. That's only crazy, and I'm gonna tell you why that's crazy, right? Because somebody up here went to school when Sandusky literally the news broke. I mean, nigga, it wasn't me.
SPEAKER_04I didn't go to Penn State. I know. And it wasn't me.
SPEAKER_01It wasn't me. It wasn't me. Who was it? It was you, Britt.
SPEAKER_05So as we get into it, break it down. Uh Penn State, formerly, I believe there were 14 people indicted on federal charges for I'm in love with the Coco. They were distributed. This is actually, this is news, but it's not news because Pletch cabar, bro. If anybody, I mean, all three of us went away to school. I went, I remember going to a newport party, bro. And this is back when I had a shout out to my boy Demetrius. He had a fake ID, and I used to use, I would use his fake ID to get in to the um the club or whatever. And these niggas was doing cocaine inside the club. But this is like, this is nothing new. This is like I heard the story, I was like, oh, okay, that tracks. Like, but you wanna like uh we all can admit this ain't even dry snitching. We all knew drug deals on campus. Oh, yeah, fact that were in that were involved in the school. This is like nothing new. It's just but it's just I just always find it, I don't want to say funny, but ironic, or I don't even know if that's the right word, but Penn State is can never that school has a black cloud over it, bro.
SPEAKER_06I went to Morgan State. That was my first pick.
unknownMorgan State.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that was my first pick.
SPEAKER_05Now if we went to Morgan, you would have been burning. That they was they was the leader in STDs. Seriously? HBCUs, yeah, 100%. I didn't know that. I remember that. I mean, back when I was looking into this. My cousins went to Morgan. It's probably burning. Call them up right now.
SPEAKER_04Call up right now. That's right.
SPEAKER_05Call them right now.
unknownI'm not calling up right now. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Call them right now.
SPEAKER_05That's what they say. I'm telling you, they probably saw some things out. They probably did. It's probably charging. It's probably the still, the girls is probably charging the smash at Morgan. Morgan was crazy. I heard Morgan State so bad. Why?
SPEAKER_06It was lit.
SPEAKER_05It's just in the hood.
SPEAKER_06Exactly. She's trapping.
SPEAKER_05See, you wanted to trap.
SPEAKER_04She was my trap friend. They definitely had a wild invitation to Morgan.
SPEAKER_05Morgan had a what that shit.
SPEAKER_06I ain't going frank. I wanted to go to HBCU and Morgan was my topic. Morgan was my topic.
SPEAKER_05I wanted to go to um Delaware State. Really? I wanted to go to Delaware State, yeah.
SPEAKER_06I got accepted to Morgan.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I was happening. I was having a kid, so that didn't happen. But I wanted to go to the DSU, yeah. I mean, kind of glad I didn't. I think Hunter was a better, better, better institution than Delaware State. But um, yeah, but yeah.
SPEAKER_06But shout outs to you going to, you know.
SPEAKER_03So how you just denouncing your Oma mother? You know what though, when it comes to this news, right? Because like everybody's starting to see like the difference in like how things are treated, right? Because, like I said, with the whole pledge cabar thing, right? So, this group of people, right? Normally, if some shit like this happened, they would call them what? A gang.
SPEAKER_05See, he was gonna play the race card, bro.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Bro, I'm just telling you what like what it is. Like, so they would say, like, this is a really there was a uh an Indian guy. No, he's not Indian. He was Indian. He's not Indian, bro. I'm pretty sure white, bro.
SPEAKER_05Nah, that dude was Middle Eastern, bro. I don't think he's mother. They showed his mother. You see his mother? That dude was definitely a former Middle Eastern descent. 100%. Look him up.
SPEAKER_03Bro, you got your phone right there.
SPEAKER_05Nah, she didn't want to look, she didn't call a cousin, so I didn't look nothing up. No, but that dude was definitely a T T.
SPEAKER_06You went call my cousin and see who he knew that had STDs and what he's doing.
SPEAKER_03I'm pretty sure if he was looking, oh bro, how many people you knew had his dad's son? If he was Indian, why it still could be called a gang. But the real reason why people are so upset is because they're like, yo, these dudes was moving drugs. That's Rico. Yeah, of course. And there's no Rico involved. I don't know if there's no Rico. There is not a Rico case. I mean, they're definitely gonna get tired. That's what it is. It's just like, yo, how is these dudes not getting no Rico?
SPEAKER_05I mean, sir, it's well, Pennsylvania is a state to me similar to Texas and Florida. They don't, they don't they don't shit can big charges like this. They don't. No, don't. So that's what I'm saying. So even though they don't have the Rico, I get it, but these guys they're gonna do at least. At least. They are, bro. Did you hear the 10 years is fine, I guess. These niggas had kilos, bro.
SPEAKER_0410 years is fine, I guess. That's what I'm saying. Like 10 years is nothing, bro. I guess, but nothing. And that the mother's cooked.
SPEAKER_05She didn't and one again, they pled guilty. So that's probably that's probably why they didn't hit them with the Rico, because they fled guilty. Yeah, they felt guilty. Yeah, he did too. They all played guilty. Yeah, so that's probably why I didn't get hit with the Rico, because they all took, they all did, yo, we're gonna throw this at you unless you plead guilty.
SPEAKER_03The funny thing is, too, what person they didn't let in the frat that was like, nah, fuck that. That's the that's somebody in the case.
SPEAKER_04I think somebody said somebody had to sell it.
SPEAKER_05Somebody stenched. Because they said that they were cooking up in the dorm rooms. Somebody stenched. They were bagging up in the dorm rooms. In order to pledge, you had to bag up.
SPEAKER_03Man thought he was Franklin Saint.
SPEAKER_05Facts. They thought it was Frank Lucas in that motherfucker.
SPEAKER_06They was moving, folks. That shit crazy. Nah, that's wow.
SPEAKER_05That is wow. Alright, y'all. After Jordan's uh Penn State, the Torres Penn State, and the Brits no longer Penn State.
SPEAKER_06Nah, I'm still at Penn State. No, I'm gonna start with Penn State.
SPEAKER_05You got a degree from there? You got a degree from there?
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05You pay student loans back? Oh, you just said defer. You said y'all not getting it. Deferred defer, deferred. Wait, so you're great. So your credit, your credit didn't take a hit with that?
SPEAKER_00I have loan forgiveness.
SPEAKER_03Nah, if if you defer, then you now with that new bill. You got loan to forgiveness.
SPEAKER_06Yes. How you did that? Off camera, please.
SPEAKER_03Oh, she offensive. I need because I need that. Hold on. Hold on.
SPEAKER_04Me. Me. Niggas. Oh camera. Y'all smile. See what I'm telling you. It's a Penn State. These niggas is criminals. These selling drugs is.
SPEAKER_03I don't think me and Brand has crazy.
SPEAKER_06That's crazy because this morning, me and Yolanda was talking about that. She was like, yo, they're about to start garnishing it from my check. I'm like, garnishing what?
SPEAKER_05Business out there. Go ahead, do your thing. Can we win? Student loans. You already know the government gonna try to date. It took like a 50-point hit my critical when it when Trump passed that shit. For real? You know what?
SPEAKER_03My shit went down because of that too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05It took me like fucking eight months. I'm not better than paid student loans.
SPEAKER_03I have paid some.
SPEAKER_05I paid like a hundred dollars. I mean, I don't owe that much. I think I own like $7,200 left. That's it? Yeah, I don't know. I wish I would have gone there. Yo, that is crazy. I pay one, I think it's like $120 a month.
SPEAKER_03I never pay student loans.
SPEAKER_05I think it's the 21st of every month. It just passed. I think yesterday I just paid $120.
SPEAKER_03Yo, you know how much they're trying to get from me?
SPEAKER_02$818. That's a bit wear. That is. I never pay student loans a day in my life. Yo, y'all niggas is.
SPEAKER_05Y'all switch over to everyone's favorite topic. We're gonna switch over to the earth segment, Brick. What you got going on for us, Britt?
SPEAKER_06You know what? Let's switch it out. Let's go live for our fans.
SPEAKER_05Oh shit. It's a different type of energy. We gotta act surprised like we didn't know, but we really knew what we was doing. That's all good. Hopefully, Brit gets it working on time. That's where, yeah, there you go. I'm gonna let y'all know. We choreographed shit and she just didn't remember. Because we definitely did choreograph shit on how to do it. Wi-Fi might be weak, motherfucker. What's good, chat?
SPEAKER_01What's good? We in the chat. Hey y'all. What's up, Twin?
SPEAKER_06I I need you. You gotta be on response, you know. Oh, what's up, Twin? Yeah. We live. Let's get into it. Let's get into it.
SPEAKER_05Alright, great.
SPEAKER_06Talk to me. Talk to me.
SPEAKER_05Oh, this is oh shit. Alright. First thing you had up on the rehearsal segment was a man is dealing with two women at once. Let me move on a little bit. He lies to one and the other he's completely honest with. Which woman does he really love? Which is actually a crazy. I don't even I definitely write this shit.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I gotta answer my own. No, that was a question, right? Yeah, what? Oh, oh, seriously. I wanted y'all's opinion on that. Oh, okay, okay. I'll answer that one.
SPEAKER_03Like the one he's lying to is the one he loves. The one that he is telling 100% the truth to is the one that he's, you know? I don't I don't really love you. You said that's stupid. Why?
SPEAKER_06Why are you lying to me if you love me?
SPEAKER_03Because sometimes you hate these young. I hate these naive questions women be asking sometimes. It's just like why are you lying to me if you love me? I'm lying to you because I don't want to hurt. Look, I'm not saying that this is what I'm doing. If you don't want to hurt me, you won't be. I'm not saying that this is what I'm doing. I'm not saying that this is what I'm doing, but I'm just giving you the reason why. Giving you insight. The insight, 100%. I'm telling you how the man brain works. And it's like, I'm gonna lie to the woman that I love because I don't want to hurt her. Especially I don't want to hurt what we got. What what the weekend said? I'd rather lie and lose your girl. Exactly. 100%. And the girl that he's telling the truth to, you can tell she's the side piece. And the reason why he's telling her the truth is because he's so fed up with the lies at home, he gotta tell somebody. I'll just play it. But let me ask you this bitch.
SPEAKER_05I think that's silly. You think it's silly because you think 90% of the time a woman's gonna take a man back anyway? So why lie? Just be honest.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_05I don't think that's true.
SPEAKER_03That's not true though. That's not always, that's not always though. Don't give me wrong. We know the 90 exists. We know the 90 exists, but it changes the relationship.
SPEAKER_06Okay, but the person still, the woman still takes the man back.
SPEAKER_05Yes, yeah, but but it still changes the relationship. I don't think it's 90%. Women don't always take the guy back. I don't think it's 90%.
SPEAKER_06You haven't done some. You said that you cheated.
SPEAKER_05Yo, put don't put my business out there. Hill. Put my business in the street. She likes how many of them said they would take your ass back?
SPEAKER_06Don't put my business out on the street. And I'm pretty sure. No shade to the girlies, but did they not take you back?
SPEAKER_05We're not together right now.
SPEAKER_06But they took you back at one point.
SPEAKER_05They took you back or they would take you back. But that's the that might be the except that's the rule. That's not the exception.
SPEAKER_06I just feel son, I cannot. I feel like it's no need to lie. Give the woman the option of what she wants to do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but the lie also protects you because, like I said, the relation because the relationship changes.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna say this. I know a lot of people, men and women, that's cheating.
unknownCorrect.
SPEAKER_05Your partner don't know. Correct. So therefore, they are protecting their significant other. That's the best way I can put it. Toxic or whatever you want to call me, but this is true. I know a lot of people Toxic J. Toxic J. I know a lot of people, they can't hear it off and lie, but I know a lot of people who are cheating and their significant other does not know. You're joining, you gotta see what they're seeing in the comments because I see that shit like in the city. Yeah, I see, I see we get a little emotion and not know what they're saying.
SPEAKER_06It's an emotion party, you cannot get in. It's no comments yet.
SPEAKER_05Oh, but um joining. Oh, I don't think so. Maybe not. You might not be not popping.
SPEAKER_06We up a little bit.
SPEAKER_05But no, I know there are people who are cheating, and they don't they don't put that out there, obviously. Because at the end of the day, there's a lot of people who say, Oh, I want my partner to be honest. If they were to come to him with, oh, let's have an open count, let's have, I don't want to say open relationship, because it'd be one-sided, because I think a lot of women don't want open relationships.
SPEAKER_03But watch- But if it was on some like, yo, I cheated, but it's I let like let me get away with that one. That relationship is gonna change because she's gonna look at you different. That is true. She's gonna start moving different. She's gonna be upset walking around that house. However, she's still gonna be there.
SPEAKER_06That's true.
SPEAKER_03She gonna but yeah, but it but there's a difference between being there and being there the way I want you to still be there the way you are now.
SPEAKER_05So you lie so that the relationship could just stay the same as well as well, yeah. Because they don't talk this enough. A person could cheat and then go back in the crib and everything could be normal.
SPEAKER_03Not a female, not a female.
SPEAKER_05That's the boy that yes, they do.
SPEAKER_03The reason why I'm gonna say no is because I have girlfriends, not girlfriends, but I have platonic women friends who to cheat. Why you looked at me to correct shots? Yeah, but but also the also the way the way they walk into that house is not always the same. Because especially with females, a lot of the times they like to sleep with one person at the same time. So, like if you so if you cheat, no, so if you cheating, you giving it up to the dude that you're cheating with, and sometimes you're not giving it up to that man that's in that house. Now, as a as a guy, you slinging and slanging and slanging and slanging. Two in one day is crazy. No, I'm not saying I'm not saying that it is or it isn't, but I know dudes that do two days, three in a days, you know what? Let me stop it. But it's possible.
SPEAKER_05I think that it I I think I'm I'm gonna agree with Jordan and say the one that the person is often lying to is the one who they do love more. Okay, but I do think it's also it's often times where, again, a man or a woman might just be, yo, I got somebody at home, I'm failing you, we could do this. I think it's not more so a side trick, it's more so it's an agreement.
SPEAKER_03That's still on the side because it's not your main relationship.
SPEAKER_05But they might not want one.
SPEAKER_03Both of them. But that's still a relationship. Not what you're not saying like you're my girlfriend, but it's still a relationship, it's still a relationship.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, no, yeah. I mean, we all situationships usually hurt more than the breakup.
SPEAKER_03You know, so sometimes situationships hurt more. I just lost somebody that was commitment free. Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05So I lie. That's why he lie.
SPEAKER_03No, stop, stop it. Don't put that on me. Don't put that on me. That's why he lie. I do not engage in that activity. I'm just coming from the the aspect of how we looking into the house.
SPEAKER_05Oh, so I had the clip. Now I can't because my fucking Bluetooth is not working, so I can't play the clip. But the clip was how the how your partner reacts in crisis plays a large part in how you think your relationship will go with the significant other. And the clip that I had, for the you guys can hear it because the uh the fucking Bluetooth was that there was a fire, and the person that was being interviewed said, Yo, I knew I wouldn't make it with my significant other because during the fire, she was completely unaware of situation awareness, she lacked leadership, she lacked everything that she was supposed to have, as I envisioned my partner to have. And in crisis, she failed at every in every category.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, she panicked, she panicked, freaked out, everything. She almost got everybody hurt, like this whole bunch of things.
SPEAKER_05They thought she was gonna say, We're gonna die. All these things that were said, and it wasn't even that big of a fire. And he said the and he put it in perspective because he said, Well, as opposed to his sister, his sister did Mark Total. Right. And obviously he's not trying to date his sister, but his point was saying that yo, she showed the characteristics.
SPEAKER_03And it was like the sister was like, yo, you need to break up her, and then he was like, You're 100% right.
SPEAKER_05And so, now I say this to say, but I'll answer the question because obviously, but then I'll turn to you, is I do think this is a hundred percent accurate. Because as I say all the time, someone could say, Oh, I've been with my partner for five fuss years. It's not about the relationships are about moments, not about history. Correct. Because there's not agree with that. Because there are certain moments where you say, How do you handle crisis? And obviously, we're not expecting her to be fucking F D and Y. That's not what that's not the that's not the point of the story. But the point of what you could take from this this form of this form of crisis is, oh, so this is how you're gonna act when I'm not around. This is how you're gonna act around our kids.
SPEAKER_03Around our kids.
SPEAKER_05This is how you're gonna act around my family. Like these are things that will play into someone's mind. And and it's not about man versus woman because his sister was perfectly fine in crisis. I feel like crisis management is not talked about enough because it's like as we said earlier in the show, there's such a soft degeneration. Oh, why is this happening? I hate the why is this happening to me as a person. Oh, just my luck. I hate people that do that shit. That shit, that shit. Don't come around me talking about just my luck. Nigga, you woke up today, bro. Please don't come around with this just my luck. They just fucking started and you already choking it up. Please don't come around me with that type of energy. So I think people who handle crisis or how they handle crisis, I do think that's a big part of relationships, right?
SPEAKER_06So I find this topic funny because I tested Corey in my relationship.
SPEAKER_05See, this is why they say they're not talking about it.
SPEAKER_03This is why they toxic games. This is why you testing him for what reason? Let's shit naturally.
SPEAKER_05I'm sitting out here buying fucking names, Louie this, Louie that, taking you across the putting passport stamps, and you're trying to test the boy.
SPEAKER_06He letting you keep the four bands and shit, like crazy. I did like I did a lot of tests, like I think once.
SPEAKER_03A lot of tests is crazy. Like, like you you could have just slid with a yeah. I test him one time. Not enough.
SPEAKER_06I I did it. Like when I think I called him one day. He wasn't at work. I don't I don't remember if he was at work or not, but I was like, my tie just popped on the side of the road. Like, I'm on the side of the road, and I wanted to see what he was gonna do.
SPEAKER_05Nah, what are we doing, bro? Oh, I don't know. Did he hit already? I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_06Did he hit already?
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_03So I'm about I was about to say don't lie.
SPEAKER_06Like, what are we doing? He did. He did. I'm not gonna do that.
SPEAKER_05So what was his response supposed to be? Like, I'll come help you? Send me your send me your location?
SPEAKER_06I think at that point he already had my location. I just wanted to see what he would do.
SPEAKER_05So what would make him fail, though? Hold on, my fourth. What would make him fail?
SPEAKER_06To be fair, he never failed any tests. You capping.
SPEAKER_03You're capping.
SPEAKER_06He might not. I don't know. No, he never failed any tests.
SPEAKER_03You know Corey better than I do. I don't know. There's no way that he did not give you one time an answer that you did not want to hear. Even if he did, she's 90%. She was going back anyway. Yeah, 100%.
SPEAKER_04But what would he have done to make it? You know Corey, my boy, too, but we're gonna be honest.
SPEAKER_06Um what like if he was to fail?
SPEAKER_05No, what if you said his tie popped, what was his response would have been that would have made you, oh, he failed. He's not the one.
SPEAKER_06Um okay, what you gonna do?
SPEAKER_05I don't think that makes sense.
SPEAKER_06I don't think no man's gonna say that.
SPEAKER_04I don't think that's they're gonna at least be like, yo, did you call it? Yeah, like I don't think that's like I don't think that's the I don't think that's a real reaction.
SPEAKER_06I was like, you got Triple A. I don't think that's a real reaction. I feel like somebody would say, what you gonna do? Like, what's your next steps? Like, okay, you can't do it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, if I if I didn't already say that, you like boyfriend, girlfriend, like, why would you? Even if he says that, I don't think that's a fail. He's asking like, what's your thought process? I don't think that makes him fail.
SPEAKER_06I'm a I'ma what's what you're gonna do is gonna be like, what the fuck you mean with what I'm gonna do? I'm telling you for a reason. Like, you're don't because I'm testing you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it didn't really happen.
SPEAKER_05What? I feel like a reasonable response in that situation is okay, where are you? Right, yes. Right, I feel like it's either where are you, do you have a triple A number? It all depends on the person that's doing. Because me and Jordan, like my not my I can't come get you.
SPEAKER_03So it all depends on but you'll still lose points for that. Just because it's like you just know your job. You're probably in the middle of saving somebody from a fucking fire right now. Leave me.
SPEAKER_01Albert, leave me. You need to be here. Me.
SPEAKER_03Me.
SPEAKER_01Me? Like, not only do you need to leave work, but you need to get here in five minutes. That's actually good. Five minutes.
SPEAKER_06Are people writing comments? It looked like somebody wrote a comment.
SPEAKER_03Oh, you guys should go live on Twitch. Yo, we're gonna work on the Twitch. We're gonna work on the Twitch.
SPEAKER_06Shout out to people that's in the lives.
SPEAKER_03M Murder.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's our girl, Brie Brie. Shout out to Brie Brie.
SPEAKER_04What up, Brie? Shout out, Brie.
SPEAKER_06But anyway. No, I did. We're gonna do an episode called We're gonna come up, but he can't come up too soon because he's gonna show y'all how bad of a person I am. He already said he's gonna say that.
SPEAKER_05Like, I think he's right. I mean, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You just said that you put him through a mini test for no reason.
SPEAKER_06As I should have. No, he's lazy. You're trying to double down on it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we let things happen naturally. We let things happen naturally. If you're called with a really broken. Crisis management is actual crisis, not a makeshift crisis. No, no. You see, that that's the that's the problem with today's women. That is the problem with today's game. And guess what?
SPEAKER_06We're going on three years, and he's still here.
SPEAKER_03Two things can be.
SPEAKER_01That's because he's a part of the 90% too. God damn it.
SPEAKER_06It worked both ways. It worked both ways. My man is not a part of the 90%.
SPEAKER_03I'm pretty sure he probably was like, damn, I want to leave her. But you know what? I want to stay too.
SPEAKER_06Wow.
SPEAKER_05I just want to know what the other test was. Like, just give me one more test.
SPEAKER_06Another one. All right. Um, what else I did? I haven't did them in a long time. Maybe I should use one.
SPEAKER_01You should have been stopped a long time.
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay. So my baby cousin one time, we went, we all went to the mall. And um, my baby cousin, he was having like a template tantrum. He was being a badass little kid. And I just handed him off to Corey and I ran away. And wanted to see what Corey could do with kids.
SPEAKER_03What to see if he had like that fatherly figure. It's not his kid.
SPEAKER_06It don't matter.
SPEAKER_03It do. I know, but I I do agree. You should I don't. You should you should study how they act around kids, because I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05It might not be so the reason why I disagree with is if he if a person doesn't have a they could still be, they could be great parents in the future, but if they haven't been around kids enough, that's like putting someone around a gun for the first time and saying oh I want to see how you handle, I want to see how you shoot.
SPEAKER_03But they do that all the time in the academy.
SPEAKER_05But they but you can't shoot bad, nigga. This is what I'm saying. Like, I I I don't think that's a fair test. Like, did he did he grow up with younger kids? Um, because a lot of cousins is but like raising them.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_05Oh, so it's like I don't I can't expect that.
SPEAKER_03I don't think she would have like X'd out if she was bad at it. I think it was more I think it was more so to just like you'll be good at it.
SPEAKER_06Like, okay, these are just my tests, just to see. It's not that I was doing it on some, yeah, I can't.
SPEAKER_05No, I understand what I understand what you're saying. I understand, like to try and engage. I understand what you're saying.
SPEAKER_03Don't say my test, because women do this shit all the time. All the time. I feel like this is. I ain't gonna lie to you. Like, if we wasn't friends, bruh, I wouldn't like you because I I can't stand when women do that shit. Because it's just like you're gonna create a situation, you don't know what I'm going through. What if I'm going through what I'm going through right now? Yeah, like you're just gonna put me through this test, and now I feel the test.
SPEAKER_02We helping each other.
SPEAKER_03I can't stand it. That's definitely not helpful.
SPEAKER_06It's a thing women have to do to feel comfortable and safe.
SPEAKER_03No, it's not. But okay. I'll move on. I I think this fire situation would have been perfect because if you bugging out like this, I can't do it. But I understand where women come from because like as a woman, if your man was the one doing this in this situation, yeah, 100%. You better go with a key. Throw me send him to the gulage. Because he ain't gonna be able to protect you. He can't put out a simple fire or at least attempt to get you out the way. Well, no, they had to get out. They was leaving that to the house. Simply try to get you out the way.
SPEAKER_06Like I just remembered a silly test I did. I think it was like a spider in my crib, and he wasn't there, and I called him to come kill it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I've had women do that to me. I failed that one.
SPEAKER_06You failed?
SPEAKER_05No, I also don't care. You didn't go.
SPEAKER_06No, but it's just Was you at work or was it? I was in the crib.
SPEAKER_01He said I wasn't doing shit. I wasn't doing shit. Tell them he was in the crib? No. Toxic J. It was just the principle of it, huh? Toxic J.
SPEAKER_04I was in the crib.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I was in the crib. She don't know that. She don't got the low. I was in the crib. She watched this five.
SPEAKER_05I was in the crib. I had I had one joint that actually like sent me a video. Yo, my question is. I was like, oh shit, that's nice. Well, no, I said, oh, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_04You know when they're like that's crazy with the man wise. No, it's not at all.
SPEAKER_05See, that's not I if I there's no commitment there to you, so it's like it's not.
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay. That's like he was telling the truth to.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, no, I mean, well, always part was her probably trying to test me. Like, yo, I'm in crisis. Can you come help? Nah.
SPEAKER_03Nah, it's crazy.
SPEAKER_05In the crib. Okay.
SPEAKER_03No, it's crazy because it do kind of depend on the crisis. Uh, let me not say that. I ain't gonna lie to you. I probably I probably would show up. You would have showed up. But only if I was like in the crib not doing nothing. Yeah, I would have probably. How far away is the crisis? I think also is a large chance. That is true too. Like if you live in Brooklyn, well, I guess now, because I live in Queens. Yeah, you live in Queens, so it's like before if I lived in the Bronx, you lived in Brooklyn, yo, you're gonna have to catch me after six o'clock, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, like like how like I think I feel like that's fair. I feel like some I feel like sometimes when you're put like some crisis or whatever the like whatever the crisis may be, and you want that person again. This is with air quotes that you expect that you guys are on that, yo, we're exclusive, we're boarding, we're getting it. If this is just someone uh you have a crush on and you might have slept with him once or twice, oh let me see if he really likes me. Yo, odds are you know it's gonna be 50-50 and the house always wins. That is true. You feel what I'm saying? I so I think it'll I think it'll I think it's uh it depends on the I see what y'all depends on the issue you're trying to test. Like my situation, it was uh, yo, we're not even really like rocking like that. We just try to like, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Like you try to see, and coming this kill spiders and shit.
SPEAKER_05It's not the one, like I'm like, I don't think we're doing it. We ain't got no rain.
SPEAKER_03This nigga's crazy.
SPEAKER_04You ever saw a woman trying to kill a bug? Exactly. I'm coming in. Exactly. That shit's extreme. While I'm on the phone screaming, I'm getting it right now! Exactly.
SPEAKER_05You feel what I'm saying? So I don't know. I feel like that's kind of crazy. I feel like it's just crazy. So else put you out on here, Britt. Uh, this was also Britty putting some spicy things on here, but let's talk about it. What I put. What's the difference between the threesome with your man and him cheating on you? Well, I what?
SPEAKER_03What's the difference between the threesome with your man and him cheating on you? All right, hold on.
SPEAKER_06Let's face it, so it was a clip from Hitman Holler.
SPEAKER_05Oh, shout out to them boys.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that is hilarious. Yeah, so I think his shorty was on here or whatever.
SPEAKER_03And isn't it their combined show?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but they have a podcast together? Yeah, yeah. I don't know. I know I know he's funny. That's a guy from Wall Now, right?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I can't remember exactly how it came up, but it was just like she was saying, like, um, but you cheated, or something like that. Like he cheated before. And he was like, but we had threesomes, so what's the difference? So I said, that's a good ass question. What is the difference? To me.
SPEAKER_03I think it's toxic to have a spawn. No, no, it's not toxic. It's not toxic. And I'm gonna explain to you why. So that's so crazy with some.
SPEAKER_06Who wants you want me to say my opinion? Go first. I just feel like a threesome is supervised cheating. No, yes, I'm supervising you cheating on me.
SPEAKER_03No, no, yes, it is. No, because you're engaging as well. So it's not cheating because exactly.
SPEAKER_06I'm supervising, the supervisor works too. Your supervisor works too, right? No, no, no, they don't do shit.
SPEAKER_03It's apples or oranges, brother. No, it's not. You're engaging, so you're a willing participant to engage. So, like the person that we're bringing in for the threesome, you're also engaging with them. Like, you know, y'all kissing on each other, y'all doing because me, I'm speaking because there's always gonna be a girl, it's never gonna be a guy. So, like, you know, y'all kissing on each other, y'all licking each other's spots, all that other stuff. Yeah, you know, like we all engaging in this sexual content together, right? And now cheating, there's just no permission there. But at the same time, exactly. If you need permission, that's the only thing.
SPEAKER_06There's just no permission supervising.
SPEAKER_03No, because you're a willing participant. So, like in the cheating aspect, you're out you're obviously not a willing participant because you're not there and you're not agreeing to it. But as for as as far as like him saying, like, yo, it's still me sleeping with another woman, it's just one you know about and the other one you don't. So when it's supervised and when it's not, it's not supervising. It is, it's not because you're not saying, well, granted, you know, you can have the ditties and shit in the world. Supervisor as a chat. As like, yeah, like, oh, you do this, you do that, you do this, you do that. Yes, but that's you being like a voyeur. That's not you engaging in the threesome.
SPEAKER_06I mean, it's rules.
SPEAKER_05No, but you're using it as like a cut as a like as a crutch to try and say, oh, hey, he's being able to sleep with someone else because I'm allowing him to, and I'm also joining in on the fund.
SPEAKER_03Which is true. Which is okay. So then that means you're cheating too. That's no.
SPEAKER_05Because you're also engaging with that same person. So we're both cheating. No, because in order to have cheat, there has to be an element of not knowing. Of yes, that the elect that's what I'm saying, though.
SPEAKER_06The the one that you know about is because it's a threesome.
SPEAKER_03No, but the way you're speaking about it is like as if you're that person that's just like, yeah, we're all having a threesome, but like I'm just sitting here watching you do whatever. No, she's not saying that. No, I'm not saying that. That's what a supervisor does. Oh, not do this.
SPEAKER_06I had supervisors that work.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, no, I I I understood what you meant, but I also don't I also don't agree with neither part. I think, I think one, his response to saying, Oh, we've had threesomes before, I think that's a very immature response. That's one. I think that's extreme. You think so? Yeah, it is, because at the end of the day, it's it's kind of throwing, it's it's throwing it's throwing it in the face of your partner as to say, oh, well, we're allowed to do this, so you can't say that.
SPEAKER_06But I feel like But I don't think he meant it.
SPEAKER_03I don't think he might be like, No, you might not as far as there might have been no malice, so I understand what you're saying. He just meant it as far as like if another girl is involved, another girl is involved. So that's what he's speaking about. So he's like, how can you be cool with me having sex with a girl just because you're there having sex with her as well, and not be like okay with the idea of me having a sex with having sex with another girl just because you're not around?
SPEAKER_05Because here I'm gonna explain to you how, because if you go to you go to a five-star restaurant, they give you the menu. This would be on the menu, this would be on the menu, this would be on the menu. You say, okay, cool. And now, if someone else throws in an ingredient on the low, you'd be yo, but you said this wasn't on the menu, you'd be upset. And that's what this is now. Because if you have a threesome, both parties have to you sit down, okay. I agree, we're gonna have it with this person, okay, all well and good. Now, if you go behind my back and see someone else, that wasn't the agreement. It's that's like the Tiana Taylor shit. That's why she had to get the divorce. Because, like, yo, if I'm giving this to you, why are you going behind my back and doing it?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but I don't think he's saying that she's like wrong for having the idea. He's just asking what's the difference. I understand. He's trying to advocate for that.
SPEAKER_06I think that one, having a threesome opens up the guy to cheating.
SPEAKER_03I don't agree with that. No, that's not at all. If anything, it'll close the door. No, I don't mean if anything, it'll close the door.
SPEAKER_06You just said one. It's a whole bunch of celebrities that give their man threesums and they still end up cheating.
SPEAKER_03But that but that's something different, though. A lot different. Because a lot of a lot of the times that comes with your ego. A lot of times that comes with your ego. If you if you're engaging with a girl, like like sometimes you just be like, damn, you know what? I kind of do want something new. And if your girl presents that to you, like, oh, okay, like, you know, every once in a while we could do this, like, you know, so you can have something new. That could tame whatever beast you got right there. To where now you're just like, okay, like, you know, I don't really need this no more.
SPEAKER_05I think, like I've said before, I think cheating is a character flaw. So I think however the person, the makeup of that person is, they're gonna do it. Even if you give them this, they still may do that. But I I don't think I don't think just because if I don't think it's opening the door to cheating, because if they were to cheater, they was gonna cheat no matter what. Regardless. Oh, I'm gonna give it three someone, oh, he's never gonna experience a pussy before. It's still gonna be the same shit. You know, in the words of Chris Rock, what he said, Jordan, it's nothing like no pussy. That's what he said.
SPEAKER_04This is your time, this is your question. Yeah, toxic.
SPEAKER_03That's not toxic, but that's that's not toxic, Brit. That's not toxic. That's just Brit. That's as real as it, that's as real as it's gonna get. Because it doesn't open the door for you to cheat. No, I'm telling you why it doesn't open the door.
SPEAKER_05You keep saying it's a dozen, but you're not explaining how.
SPEAKER_03She's giving if she's gonna give it to you, right? If I'm willingly giving you something that you want, uh-huh, right? Then you that doesn't open the door for you to just sneak and do it because I'm willingly give it to you. If you're gonna be the type of person that's gonna sneak and do that, that's just because you're gonna sneak and do that.
SPEAKER_06So that's the same thing like I feel like it opens the door because first, this is a new thing. Like giving your partner away. No, that's not that's not new.
SPEAKER_03That's not new. That's not new.
SPEAKER_05That's not new. Maybe new to maybe if you hold Okay, let me rephrase that.
SPEAKER_06It is not healthy. This is not a healthy thing to be open or to be telling the world, like social media makes it okay for it to be like, yeah, I had a threesome with my man.
SPEAKER_03Like, oh, so like you mean like put your private business out in the public. Right, okay.
SPEAKER_06If y'all do that in private, y'all do that in private, whatever. However, when it does come out that your man is cheating, conversations like these arise. Yes, we're gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_03Well, she the one that started the conversation. It wasn't it wasn't even on some.
SPEAKER_05It wasn't even on some like that's why I said that his reaction was immature because she's saying this.
SPEAKER_03That's why I said, but she but she wasn't necessarily saying like, oh, you cheating on me. She's just saying she just spoke on the question, like, oh, I think that I understand, but I understand.
SPEAKER_06So, but here's my thing, right? And this is why I kind of is I agree with both of them, right? She was open enough to say like he cheated on her before. Cool. Right? Me personally, if I got shot in the head for you, you cheated on me, I'm done.
SPEAKER_05Like, you keep saying that, but I Corey, she'll take you back.
SPEAKER_06Wow, that's if I got shot in the head, no, I mean But what I'm saying is she acts like, you know, she brung up him cheating. His response was we had threesomes before. So it's like, what's the difference? Which I agree, but then I don't agree because it's like, yeah, we had threesomes before, but it brings back to my statement of having a threesome leads certain men to feel open to just sleeping with other women. Not all men, because there are those men that are like, oh, she giving me a threesome. I'm cool, I'm chilling. But there are other men like fuck it. If she let me fuck her in front of her, I'ma just go sleep with this one. She don't gotta know about it.
SPEAKER_03But that's and that's true too. But at the same time, those people already had that in them, Brit. If you're gonna cheat, you're gonna cheat. That's just what it's like. Okay, but the threesome brung it out. But the threesome didn't bring it out.
SPEAKER_01He always cheating before the threesome.
SPEAKER_03No, look, Britt. The thing is, you always have that ability. It's just because for men, I'm not gonna lie to you, it's really accessibility. Yeah, I know. If you get the opportunity to cheat, you're gonna take the opportunity. No, not you going to. Don't don't put that on all men. You're gonna take the opportunity. No, but I'm saying, if you get the opportunity to cheat and you're one of those people that are like gonna be prone to cheat, then you're gonna do it. You can turn it down. Let me ask you this. There's men that turn down cheating all the time. Let me let me ask you this, Britt.
SPEAKER_05Because you think women cheat so much, right?
SPEAKER_06Those boys never cheat my mind.
SPEAKER_05Whatever the case may be.
SPEAKER_06I know men cheat.
SPEAKER_05Oh, but that's whatever you want to say.
SPEAKER_06Women cheat too. I never said they didn't. I'm just saying she didn't.
SPEAKER_05Your homegirls, your girlfriends, their men cheat. You look at them differently.
SPEAKER_06If their men cheat, do I look at them differently?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_06Why would I look at them differently?
SPEAKER_05I'm talking about the guy who cheats.
SPEAKER_06Do I look at the guy who cheats differently? No.
SPEAKER_05So do you do?
SPEAKER_06What do you mean? What do I do?
SPEAKER_05How do you treat them?
SPEAKER_06The guy? I mean, my friend's still there, so.
SPEAKER_05That's not throw them under the bus. That's not what I'm asking.
SPEAKER_06You said my home is not. No, I'm not throwing them under the bus. I'm being real, right?
SPEAKER_05So you don't treat the guy different. You're big, oh, he's cheating as well. X, Y, and Z. No, I don't tell my friends that.
SPEAKER_06Joel, no, I don't tell my friends that. I don't tell, I don't throw them under bus. I don't because why would I say if the girl is allowing you to do it and she's still going back or she's happy, she likes it, I love it.
SPEAKER_03Hold on, but but I have heard you.
SPEAKER_06Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03First hand experience. Uh-huh. I have heard you talk to females about a dude that ain't shit and talk about how he ain't shit. Yes. So that's what Jay's saying. Thank you. So no you have to do that.
SPEAKER_06He made it seem like I'm talking like, you saying like I'm thinking you're saying like I'm talking bad about him. Like, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Are you with the name of the name of the name? Well, saying a dude ain't shit and like you're not the same thing.
SPEAKER_05That's kind of the same.
SPEAKER_06I never tell my friends to leave the.
SPEAKER_05I didn't say leave him, I'm just saying like ain't shit.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah, I've said a nigga ain't shit before. But he knows he ain't shit.
SPEAKER_05But if you expect him to cheat, what's the difference?
SPEAKER_06You know I hang up. Well, now you know, I hang out with a lot of dudes. So I tell them to their face, yo, yeah, ain't shit. I tell Joel sometimes. You ain't shit.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but I don't know why. Because Joel is a great guy. Don't put that on me. I cool. You talk to Jay. What do you think that means? I mean, but I'm not married. Some stuff is true.
SPEAKER_01Yo, that's true.
SPEAKER_04That's a knee joke reaction. You see that?
SPEAKER_06Anywho, what I'm saying is, I tell y'all to y'all face y'all ain't shit.
SPEAKER_05Like, yeah, but you can't just other than not saying scared. I just think it's just un. I think the makeup of the conversation at times is unfair.
SPEAKER_06But if my friend is cheating, sorry to cut you off on my friend, yo, you ain't shit. I'ma tell her too. You ain't shit.
SPEAKER_05That's fair.
SPEAKER_06But you know a lot of your friends ain't shit. So I don't know why you cheating. I don't know your friends. My friends are some shit.
SPEAKER_03They cheated?
SPEAKER_06Have they cheated?
SPEAKER_03Oh, look. Now, now look. Watch her try to change it and make it a double stand. Soft, the soft.
SPEAKER_06Have they cheated? Have they cheated? Don't you say anything about that?
SPEAKER_05He's sitting in my home because call them right now. I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Have they cheated? Have they cheated?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, at work. On the weekend?
SPEAKER_06High wicked women. Don't do that.
SPEAKER_05Don't do that. It were corporate jobs. But no, so my point is, and to wrap this all up in a bundle, is I think it's an unfair conversation at times. Mainly because what you were saying is, I think I do believe that when you open the door to have this type of borderline polygamy within your relationship, I do think that you allow more of the type of I don't want to say toxic energy, but it's very hard for people to like there are people who say, oh, we could do we could do polygamy, which is all well and good. Teachers don't. If that's what you guys want to do, that's great. But I know I've seen it so many times. Not with me. I don't practice that. But I just meant in friendships. I I know practice what? No, polygamy. Polygamy. But I've seen when a guy.
SPEAKER_03I haven't seen that show on Netflix, the polygamy? Fire.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Oh, that's just fire.
SPEAKER_01You tripping is trash. You said it's trash?
SPEAKER_03Um don't agree with the practices.
SPEAKER_05I don't. Rather, you cheat in in private than do that shit. But the point was that I've seen it where a guy will say, oh, she's gonna do her, let her do her. I don't care. Then they find out that she done.
SPEAKER_06They are going quite wavy. I can't believe it.
SPEAKER_05I gotta talk about the ledge.
SPEAKER_03But I seen it. But it's different. It's not different. I think they can handle it. I'm telling you why.
SPEAKER_05I don't agree with that. I'm gonna tell you why it's different. The reason why I said don't agree with it because a man is some men, it's a primal instinct to want to fuck someone. It's it's it's a lot of it's without any emotion. And the thing that will really fucking let me finish video of her with a piece in her mouth. The shit that will really fuck a guy up is if he thinks he got a see the problem is you think you got a good girl. That's the problem.
SPEAKER_03They don't exist. Let me not say that. Good women exist, but the the number that people think it is, it's not there. Because at the same time, right, all women are great. All women can be great. But there's also that time where it's that one dude who could sway whatever he wants. I don't know. So it's always one. You know, some women just haven't met that one yet.
SPEAKER_05I my point was that at times a man might say, oh, let her do her. I don't care, I still hear whatever. Which again, two things could be true. That is true. But when you find out, and then if you find out it's like you who you consider like to be a lame, that shit may be. That hurt even worse. That hurt even worse. That's who she thought she was on, bro.
SPEAKER_04That John, man.
SPEAKER_03That shit is gone. What's gone? ASAP. Because now not only not only did you do it, but with this goofy, and you know everybody a goofy too to the main. Like, that's not you. Stop it. It's not true. Stop it. Everybody a goofy deal. Nah, you nah. Bro. That's not true. Bro. Nah, it is some. Unless it's like some fucking billionaire celebrity or something like that. It could be a dude that'd be like, oh, I like okay.
SPEAKER_05Like he think he dressed flower whatever, all right. Whatever. But it when I say a goofy, huh? You capping.
SPEAKER_03Nah, like I don't even if you don't think he's a lame, in your mind.
SPEAKER_04Definitely gonna be like this lame, man.
SPEAKER_05I just mean like you could tell he's like if you could tell someone's a bum, it's like, yo, this nigga's a bum, 100%. That's more so what I was talking about.
SPEAKER_06I no, I agree with y'all, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like it's it's just different. It's just different.
SPEAKER_06I just feel like it's not a double standards thing, but it is.
SPEAKER_05It's okay, like I think they should exist. Like, I'm fine, I'm not y'all thinking. I don't I'll be all right, double standards exist. That's all good. No, yeah, double double standards should exist for bus for certain things. This is one of them. Just life is not fair. I'm gonna tell you. Like they exist. Like life is not fair. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_03Like there's something like it's just like you want equal pay, that's fine. But equal opportunity for sex, it's not cool.
SPEAKER_06Okay. We're gonna move on to the last question because I cannot watermelon. This question is um Um, because it's our 20th episode.
SPEAKER_01So big 2-0.
SPEAKER_06Can you read the question? I kind of can't see, you know.
SPEAKER_05What's something people assume about you based on the podcast? That's not how you are in real life.
SPEAKER_06So I don't know how we should answer this. Should we answer what people told y'all? Like, I would answer what people told me about y'all. Oh, please. Oh, yeah. So share with the class.
SPEAKER_01Share with the class. So I'm ready to go to war for this shit. You ready? Okay.
SPEAKER_06I'll start with Joel. So for Joel, they just be like, yo, he comes on the show. He don't be giving a fuck. They said that you, you know, you just don't be giving a fuck. Like you one of those that come on the show with the do-rags and the bonnets and the glass. Don't give a fuck. No. That's what they said. That's what they said. Um, they did say they said you were African.
SPEAKER_03I said I was dressed like an African one day, an African father. I looked back at the fact that was Makai. Shout out Makaiah. Uh, what you recall it? I I looked back at that and I was screaming. I was like, Oh D.
SPEAKER_06Oh D, they was on you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. She she kind of ready. I look like I was going to get away from the city.
SPEAKER_06They definitely got you uh with the hospital socks.
SPEAKER_01Like, people were sending me screenshots of you in the hospital socks. Oh no, the hospital socks is fire though. Son.
SPEAKER_06Um, they just said like you just be coming like you don't care, and you're an asshole. I'm an asshole? No.
SPEAKER_03No, but you call me an asshole.
SPEAKER_06I always call you asshole, but they also say they never said the word asshole, though. And they'd be like, yeah. Cannot confirm or deny. It's like easy.
SPEAKER_03Um for the bomb was not for me.
SPEAKER_06The the bomb was for toxic J. So for Toxic J. Toxic, Toxic J. Um, they say you like to argue. What? They said you like to argue. Um who said that? Um we cannot say that.
SPEAKER_04Call them right now.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm not doing that.
SPEAKER_04He's like, call them right now so I can argue.
SPEAKER_06They said you like to argue. They said they could tell what what was it? How they worded it?
SPEAKER_05Don't say they. It's her, her. You know, we we know it's a herb by her. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_06I'm coming from.
SPEAKER_05He's trying to use fucking pronouns and shit. Fuck your pronouns. They her.
SPEAKER_06Um it was okay. They said that, how do I word it? Like you give off selfish because you're no automatums and stuff like that. Y'all niggas is they you give off selfish.
SPEAKER_05Because it's got a backbone and they selfish. That's all.
SPEAKER_06You give off selfish, like you only care about yourself.
SPEAKER_05I'm single. Hey yo, only got one life. So he's just confirming right now.
SPEAKER_01He care about he cares about himself.
SPEAKER_03You give off toxic. He already said he ain't killing that spider.
SPEAKER_06He said, fuck that spider, and fuck you. So yeah, that's what they said about you guys. Nothing crazy. These are things that I say about you guys to your face, too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's why we think that you're the one starting these rumors. That's a fact. I do think it was a plot.
SPEAKER_06You know what? I'ma show the screenshot of when this episode is, of what people comment and say.
SPEAKER_02Oh, oh, yeah. So, but whatchamacallit? When you show that too, show me the name. No, I'm not showing the name. Don't worry. Your names won't be shown.
SPEAKER_05I'll I'll never met your friends. I ain't got no beef with them, John.
SPEAKER_06It could just be other people watching the pod. It could just be the one. But why do they hear you not? You know what?
SPEAKER_05You know what people say about you, Britt? They say you're a bad friend.
SPEAKER_06I heard that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I didn't lie. See, they said she said that because you threw your lando under the bus that one episode.
SPEAKER_06I threw it her under the bus in front of her face.
SPEAKER_05That's what I said. That was my that's what I said. I said it's part of their friendship. I actually said, I defended you. Did you defend me? No, nigga, oh yeah, he's toxic, right? Yeah. He an asshole, right? Oh, he ain't shit, right? I did.
SPEAKER_06I pulled y'all to see your face, I did, though.
SPEAKER_03I defended you too. Because at one point there was one. I you remember when I shot it on that, so I was like, I'm the only one standing up here for women. And they was like, both of y'all was not standing up for the women. I was like, damn.
SPEAKER_06Guess what? I'm good for.
SPEAKER_03I don't.
SPEAKER_06I doubt.
SPEAKER_05Don't be right. It should be inaccurate. See, that's the thing. This podcast shit's not real life. I mean, we we podcasters now, but this shit now, like Yeah, like that'd be inaccurate.
SPEAKER_04You see me in the street. Yeah, but you missed the no ultimatum in real life. I yeah, but that's relationships. That just doesn't count.
SPEAKER_06Like the only part like we say our real opinions. None of this is scripted or anything like that. However, I feel like if you don't know certain people's relationships outside of just watching what you see on, and that goes for anything, like how we watch celebrities or something like that. If you don't know people's relationships outside of what you see or whatever, you're not gonna me and Yolanda, we play like that. Like we we talk like that to each other, like it's nothing.
SPEAKER_05But I do think it's also not like even when it comes to like like the shit with Hitman Hollow, like they put their business out on the street like they have threesons, whatever. I like I think now because people try to say cheating is more accepted, which I don't think that's the case. It is. Okay, see? I'll get back to my point is that they should be.
SPEAKER_06What? Is cheating accepted? It's whatever. Like, whatever. Why you guys so if that didn't, I'm gonna just say this is the thing, bro.
SPEAKER_03You can't turn your face in disgust, but then be like, uh, I don't know about my friends.
SPEAKER_06What do you mean? Why do we have to talk about my friends? No, I'm not saying we gotta talk about the friends, but I'm just saying that's because we don't have to be a child. I never said that.
SPEAKER_03That's it. That's what most people are.
SPEAKER_06What's up here? Y'all all three. Black men don't cheat, black bros don't cheat. I never said my bros don't cheat. He's single. Jalen don't cheat. He's single. No, wait, hold on.
SPEAKER_02I'm not the reference point here.
SPEAKER_06He's single. Let's be fair.
SPEAKER_02Jalen never cheated before. He's single. Jalen answered the answer the question.
SPEAKER_03To my knowledge, he was single. You see?
SPEAKER_04Why you put your face like that? Like what? Because y'all lying. I said what I did in the past. She be lying. This is a lot.
SPEAKER_01Other people said he cheated. To me, I said to my knowledge. When things was going down to my knowledge, he was single. See how you defend him when he already talked about it.
SPEAKER_04Call your friends, nigga. Call your friends. So hold on. You never cheated in your life? Me?
SPEAKER_06Never cheated, no.
SPEAKER_05I don't believe you. I'm so serious. I don't believe you. I'm so serious. I don't believe you. I don't know what else to do.
SPEAKER_06I cheated, Joel? Look. Tell the truth. No, no, no. Tell the truth.
SPEAKER_03Call me out. Look, that's the thing. To my knowledge, I'm gonna say no. But I believe there was a part of episode where you admitted to it. So I no no no.
SPEAKER_06So I cannot say verbatim no or yes. Crazy. So how come you never said with Jalen it was a part where he said he cheated? He didn't.
SPEAKER_01He said he cheated today. But I'm saying to my knowledge, he was single.
SPEAKER_06I never cheated before. What happened was that. Okay, no, no, no. Hold on, look, look.
SPEAKER_04End of quote. We were on the break. We walked like the break.
SPEAKER_06When we was on a break, I went and I, you know, I did a little razzle danzing. Bro. He razzled out.
SPEAKER_05You know what's great? But this is the thing though. When y'all was on that break, you knew him before y'all was together.
SPEAKER_03Did you have the knowledge that y'all was gonna ever get back? Did you like did you assume y'all was gonna get back?
SPEAKER_06It was, you know, the situation with my ex was very weird and toxic.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no, I I'm not saying that it was or wasn't. I'm saying, what like when y'all was split, did I think that you think y'all was getting back?
SPEAKER_06After the fourth month, no.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so and and was the the I can't recall.
SPEAKER_06I do not have the vocal.
SPEAKER_04Exactly what I was saying.
SPEAKER_05Anyway, I'm not lying. As we wrap up the show, uh your music out this week, uh, Jordan, what you got?
SPEAKER_03Yo, the game, the documentary three, yo. So far to listen is fire. Fire. He's bringing that that grimy street feel back to it, like like the original documentary. I fucks with it. It's high praise. He definitely lyricism is there.
SPEAKER_05It's high praise. Was Dr. Dre on this one?
SPEAKER_03Um, I don't think Dr. Drew. It can't be like the original one. Nah. But but the the sound is grimy. He he got a bunch of new producers on there too. Like Manisha's on there. Um, he got a Leon Thomas feature on there.
SPEAKER_05That's that's that nigga Lil Wayne right now, RB. It's like you in order to have a hit song, you gotta go to Leon Thomas. That's kind of crazy. Um, Brad, any music out that you're listening to right now?
SPEAKER_06No. Send me some stuff.
SPEAKER_05I gotta put you on. Yeah. Um lots of. We got the Cardi B jo on the eye.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's all right.
SPEAKER_05Like, I don't mind. I mean, some people don't like it. I'll rock with it. It's all right. I think it's a summer anthem. It's all right. It's not Cardi to me. It's not Cardi to me. That's very Cardi. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_03It's not Cardi to me as far as like what I like to listen to when it comes to Cardi. I like to say when Cardi and No, but I like when Cardi in her lyricism bag. Because you know, at times she could get real crazy with the dark.
SPEAKER_05Like, I ain't I ain't.
SPEAKER_06I mean, going, uh, you know, me, I'll be in my love of girl ever. So I'm gonna listen to Coco Jones' new song.
SPEAKER_05Shout out to her, she's got married to Donna Mitchell.
SPEAKER_06And her video is the wedding.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, shout out to her. Shout out to Kat. Also, shout out to Kat. Jordan Woods.
SPEAKER_06The one I told y'all earlier.
SPEAKER_05Jordan Woods. Oh, Tyree Sally Burton.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I mean, yeah, and uh, I guess he oh yeah, you know, he's not uh he's he's she a King's fan, so it's a rubber.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, whatever.
SPEAKER_05Um you got uh Cardi B. We also had the Wale Overthink drawing came out. No, that was a good one. Yeah, it's fire, but Wally I think is like I think he's on a crazy crazy one. I think he had the album of the year last year, in my opinion, and now this song, I think. He's in this, like when he gets on these type of beats with these type of songs, I think he's just in a different level.
SPEAKER_03And I think he kind of should have stayed in that bag.
SPEAKER_05He did because this is his bag, and this is a song that could have been a single in the last album. Nah, 100%. You know what I'm saying? Like it's just who I mean, child, whoever he he I think he's now to me slowly but get into that the Keisha Cole uh aspect of his career where it's like heartbroken Keisha Cole may hit heartbroken while they right now. Whoever put him in that spin sec, whoever fucked me. He's not married, doing it. Nah, yeah, he broke up with the drone. That's like his last all his songs have been about whoever the last fish. Really? Whoever broke his heart got. Whoever broke his heart got, I mean, it's bad because he he locked in right now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's kind of what they've been saying about Taylor Swift, too.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, same thing. Yeah, like when the the heart and sometimes when you are heartbroken, that is the best way to be creative, is to you know, make your best work. Um, we got uh uh Meek Mel red Dreams and Nightmares. Some people are high on it. I think it's alright.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's pretty good.
SPEAKER_05I I I understood why he did it, because I think when he did it, he was under MMG and now he's independent. So I think he just wanted to remake something to get all the rights back to the song. That's my opinion on it. But it's not it's not a bad track.
SPEAKER_03The game kind of did that on this album too, with uh they they kind of did like a new hate of love it. Yeah, same beat, it's a little bit different, but yeah, Snoop Dogg's on it and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_05I mean I get it. I'm not I'm not mad at it. Uh what else we had? Uh I think that's pretty much it. Aside for the new music that we got. Bluetooth is not working, so I can't play this shit for y'all. So I'm kind of tight. Have it fixed next week. Um, anything you're looking forward to next week? Anything you watched anything new? Any new shows? Aside from baddies?
SPEAKER_03Fight Land. Fight Land. Uh I knew you were gonna say the new 50 Cent show.
SPEAKER_05Oh no, not familiar.
SPEAKER_03Oh no, you gotta watch it. Like the first episode that I'll see you guys.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, Fightland. That's nice. Fight Land, you know, my regular baddies. Um Beauty in Black coming back on the teleper journal? Yeah. You don't watch that?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_06You don't watch that either? No.
SPEAKER_05I'm not the demographic. Yeah. That's the best way to put it.
SPEAKER_06Um That's it.
SPEAKER_05That's it. Um, what am I watching right now? Oh, we saw the Game of Thrones. Have you ever watched Game of Thrones? No. That niggas be losing.
SPEAKER_06Uh uh, apparently I have to watch it because a new one is coming out.

SPEAKER_06I fell asleep.
SPEAKER_05I'm not mad at that. It was alright for me. Like, I'm not the biggest, like, I'm not the biggest superhero movie guy. That's Jordan's. That's Jordan's body.
SPEAKER_06I ain't gonna find that movie was mad long. It was good though.
SPEAKER_05It was alright. Like it wasn't, I don't think it was.
SPEAKER_06I watched it again, but I fell asleep, I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05It was it was longer than I thought it was gonna be.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Wait, wait, I don't know.
SPEAKER_05She's not in tune with that.
SPEAKER_02But the Odyssey? Yeah, Odyssey. I I heard y'all talking about it, but I didn't say it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so that's fire.
SPEAKER_02That was one of them once.
SPEAKER_05I don't think it was his best movie, but it was definitely fire.
SPEAKER_03No, it wasn't. But this weekend.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but great performance, yeah. She has another movie coming out, The Mother Uh, Mother Mary. It's like a horror flick type of thing.
SPEAKER_06Is she pregnant?

SPEAKER_03Yeah, I used to have a crush on her back in the day.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that was my favorite white girl. One of them.
SPEAKER_03Who's your favorite?
SPEAKER_06Um, her. Do y'all consider Angeline Jolene a white girl? Okay. Um Anne Halfhaway.
SPEAKER_03What do you mean? How isn't she?
SPEAKER_05She's mixed with uh is she? Uh look what she's mixed with, but she's mixed with something. She's not, she's not white. Okay, I don't consider her white.
SPEAKER_06Her, um Anne Half the way.
SPEAKER_05Um, overall consensus, number one.

SPEAKER_05Julia Roberts. Yo, you know what's crazy about Julia Roberts? She gets a bad rap. I don't know if y'all noticed about her.
SPEAKER_03Really?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, in the industry, she's like known as they call her, used to call her Tinkerbell. Like as a bitch. Yeah, that's what they call her. But uh, funny enough, uh, I don't know if y'all know you know her parents were like really big in the segregation era. So Martin Luther King. Yeah, they uh they put so her family, Julia Roberts' family, and they've obviously from Atlanta, but they had uh one of the first uh integrated uh uh art schools for black and white students, and Martin Luther King's kids went to that school. So she was so she's actually her family was actually really.
SPEAKER_06How do you know this?
SPEAKER_05Sure, but I'm in tune with the culture. See, niggas show I'm not I'm very in tune with the culture, but Julia Roberts actually family is a very well is good friends with the Martin Luther King family.
