So essentially happened uh back in uh 2023. There was uh uh my Miss Clancy, she did she committed the murder for three kids. They were all under the age of five. What happened was the husband, uh then husband came home, found his uh wife outside, and obviously injured because she jumped out from the second floor of their part of their home. He asked for the kids, but the kids were inside and she strangled the kids, essentially.

Yeah, so where the story gets murky is that now she tried to plea insanity, and she wants to spend the rest of her life in essentially uh mental inside as opposed to going to prison. And that's how she's basically trying to plea insanity. But the reason why we wanted to talk about this because obviously it was trending on the news and social media, everything else, because the I think the obsession that people now have with social media in these crimes is that you get the after effects of like where you have she was going to court, and for the whole trial, essentially, there were people coming, protests would come to the courthouse in pink, and every time her car would go by, the fans, yes, yes, uh a fan base, fan base, yeah. And they would like do like a little heart, and then it was the craziest part to me was that when they were interviewing some of these people, they were flat out saying, Oh, that could be me. With their kids right there. I found that to be so like That's insane. You know, borderline, and it's and I'm all for having like these type of discussions where you want to say someone wants to plead insanity and putting out the facts or which why you believe. And then even in this one, it it does seem a little murky that there was something wrong with her. But this is when my me being, I don't want to say adult or I don't even want to say callous.

Uh but in this situation, like I have no problem with I do believe some people are insane and do need to go to these types of places, that asylum, stuff like that. Which is, you know, that's okay. Right. But in this instance, it's kind of hard for me to kind of really comprehend and understand and agree with it because of the nature of the crime. And it it there does seem like there was some form of like premeditated, in my opinion, just looking at the facts. But I really wanted to come to you, Britt Goldie, first is because the biggest thing we saw on like social media was that the outburst amongst significant, amongst couples, because there were numerous couples that I'll poke up with my girlfriend, I'll poke up with my man because if he wasn't on my side, she wasn't on my side. So do you think for this? Yeah, that's how big it was. Yeah, it was trending. Yeah, that big.

There is a slippery slope as opposed to this case, but where I'm out on it is like some of the details to me seem it seems too premeditated. In my this is just my opinion. I'm not a lawyer, I'm not a judge, not a jury. You know what I'm saying? But I do feel like she should spend the rest of her life in prison. I'm not, I'm, and I'm also not one, I'm not for cat, I'm not for the death penalty. I never was. I'm not trying to give her the No, I don't even think they have it in Massachusetts. I'm not sure if they do or not, to be honest. I don't think so.

It is about some of these situations where you actually get to see someone how they handle it in crisis, right? Or how that they're with their perspective is on certain situations. And that's why we turn to our experience, so relationship girl, relationship Google.

But okay. On the sense, you know what, too? I always say, right, and my therapist said that me thinking like this is really good, but I always say everything is a moment. So like even when something bad happens, when something good happens, I I look at it as like, yo, this is a moment, so I never let it like consume my life, whether it's bad or good. So I know for a fact that it's gonna pass. Like, even the worst moments in your life, it's gonna pass. So, like Jay said, everything is like situation and it's a moment. So you gotta be able to grasp, like, okay, this is gonna move on. So, how am I gonna maneuver and change whatever's going on in my life so that I could be able to cope with these situations?

So, for one, referring to the couple that they was about to get married, I feel like something else had to trigger his, like, for him to be like they put out the information that people put out on social media. Um because there's no way I'm pretty sure they've been together for more than five years, and maybe potentially we can. Yeah, but um to answer your question, Jay, I think that when it comes to relationships, like sometimes you're gonna say stuff that your partner doesn't agree with, or your partner's gonna say stuff that you're looking at him or her, like, what are you talking about, right? Um I think before you just like, yeah, I disagree. And then it depends on the topic. In this situation, like this topic is very more serious or whatever, and it can like be a conversation in a relationship where it's like you said this, like, but she killed her kid. You get what I'm saying? Like it could be a conversation talked about over and over to just see your partner thought uh process. Um but I think that honestly, like you just like it's things that me and Corey are not argued, but like we talk about where it could be a heated discussion, and it's like, all right, we're gonna agree to disagree, because I'ma still staying 10 toes down on what I feel, and you not really changing what you feel either. So it's like, all right, we just gonna agree to disagree. Um and then it may resurface in another conversation that we haven't, and I'm like, see, this is what I meant, blah blah blah. And then like we're understanding each other's point or whatever, but I don't think for it to get this serious, well, let me not say for it to get this serious, but for other people to look on what's happening on social media and the news, knowing that they don't tell the full details or whatever, and let it like uh tarnish, I guess you could say, your relationship.

But then again, it could be off the conversations that that but again, but that's how it starts because we could just have say me and you're then really have a conversation about apples, and it could just lead to something else. And I think that's what this was because the nature of the crime is so heinous, and it and it's just one of the most gruesome things that you can ever imagine, especially as a parent. As a human being, the death of children is one of the worst things you could see. So to see someone granted support that I don't want to say support because the the the idea I'm trying, or my my my position is more so on the side of actions comes with consequences, and I hate the cop out now that we kind of live in within society, whereas, oh, I did this because I suffered from this. Yeah, like it's that's kind of a question that if you I feel like it's kind of an end or be all at certain times, and it's at times two things can be true, but often at times, the people the response that people try, that the response that people have right now is the system failed her, which again that can be true because you're saying she didn't get the help and resources that she needed, but that doesn't mean just because you do something like this, now you get the out of being okay, well the system failed her, so let's put her in an asylum where she could help she needs.

Which as a pre which as a human being, some of the things people say online to me is also very you know, very, you know, they try to go, they go out there off the loop. But it it it's a it's a crazy, crazy topic.

Honestly, I think it's not supporting her, I feel like is extreme when you talk about raising a million dollars, right? Um that's extreme. Do we do I kind of feel a little bit for Her if she really was like two things can be true.

You can have empathy for someone who does a heinous thing, right? Which is okay because again, that's where empathy is. Like you fail for the person who was going through it. But again, if someone was to walk up and shoot, God forbid, a brother. I mean, I don't have a brother, but if it was to shoot my brother in the head, but they're mentally, they're not okay. Oh, okay, I understand that, sir. But you gotta go take this, you gotta go take this bed when you're in. You know what I'm saying? So I feel like that's where I stand on it.

It's just to me, like you said, no matter what happens in life today, someone's always gonna try to shoot to like, oh, I did something bad. Let me try to claim, like, you know, that I'm having mental problems. And granted, she a hundred percent could have those mental problems. But where the stance that this guy is coming from with his fiance, it's not because he even stated, it's not the fact that she had mental problems and you have empathy, sympathy, or whatever for her. That's fine. But it's the simple fact that you're in support of this woman, regardless to the actions that she did, after the actions that she did. Because to me, like what you said based off of like, you know, not letting social media or not letting outside sources or anything affect your relationship, I totally agree with you. But if my significant other ever told me that they agree or in support of anybody that did like heinous acts or negative or negative acts towards, especially towards children, clip. What do you mean? Clip that would be looking at it. Like I would never be with them. Because why would you support anything like action-wise, negative to one towards children, but towards anybody in general? Like, that's like saying, like, those fucking mass murderers and shit like that, or the serial killers, like you're in support of them. Like, I could I could never be with someone who thinks that that's okay. You know what I'm saying? Especially like you sending money to these people.

I think that's where to me, like, I think that's really what the gray line is at for me. Like, even if you because some people could have a sense of, and again, some people, I want to say some people, most people are ignorant to certain things, which is okay. I'm ignorant to a lot. And at times you gotta have these conversations to try and gain an insight of not only your significant other, but your friend, whatever your circle is, you gotta just try and get insight on how they think about certain things. Because some people are, a lot of people are closed-minded to situations that don't really affect them. You know, they live in the bubble, or they'll, you know what I'm saying, or they go with the masses, but they don't really understand the situation. But even in this situation, I think if I'm dating someone who kind of is on the side of Miss Clanty, I'll definitely have a raised eyebrow and then to say, oh well, I donated money, all right. You kind of lost me now, because now it's kind of it's and especially because the deed everything's already done. So if you're donating money to the cause of what?
