Buenos días! Hola! Imagine if we did the whole thing in Spanish. Maybe. One day we we will. No, seriously. Translate it. I actually can you do that? You might can you do that? We might be able to. Because I had a cousin one time, remember I told you, and she was like, hey, so what is it that you're doing? And I was like, oh, like me and my best friend. Like we started a podcast, and she was like, Can you like put them on YouTube so I can translate them? And I was like, you know, I didn't think of that. But no, that's really smart. Really smart. We should look into that. You're seriously just girls for everyone around the world. Right. We do have listeners from around the world. We have listeners from the world. I think that's like so cool. I wish I could specifically see IP adjustments. But we can, we can, I promise you guys. I promise you guys. But we can see like regions, and I think that that is so cool in different countries. It's really awesome. Are you having the best time? I am having the best time of my life. Oh my gosh. I am actually having the best time too. Not actually, I'm not surprised, but like I'm really having the best time. I think that everyone at least once in their life should try to take a trip with their best friend. Yeah. No. It's just so not just once in their life. I know, but some people like that's just not realistic. You know, unfortunately, like there are people out there that that's just not realistic. I know that's scary. That's a scary thought. We're very privileged. We are very privileged. I feel very blessed. And we really made this up. No, for real. We really put our dimes together and got here. It was tough. I'm just kidding. No, no, no. It takes hard work and commitment to take a trip with your friends. Like some sacrifice too. And we had this trip planned back in when did we plan this? Like March? March, I think. I think it was best planned. We were like waiting, like New Mexico, where are you? New Mexico. Oh, sorry. I always say that. Mexico City, where are you? And it's like, what do you think? Wrong one. Like, that's not even in this country. Oh my gosh. What's been your favorite part? Um, we hung out with Nikki's cousin over the weekend. He's really funny. Like, he's he's the time. He's the time. He's really cool. Um, he's a food influencer blogger type, and he took us to some really nice bars. Like we were like, oh, yeah, this is nice. It was really fun. He was just so funny. I feel like we have so many like little funny stories that I'll remember for the rest of the year. Yeah. So cute. So my cousin. We'll call him Billy. Billy's telling us this story about um his favorite drink. His favorite drink is a martini. And he was telling me that he was telling us that he has a tattoo and it's right above his elbow. And then he stares off into the distance. And he goes, Me and my ex-girlfriend have matching tattoos. And when we stand next to each other, it's like touching elbows is the martini glasses. And then he goes, It was so cute. What's going on there? No, no, it's because we'll say, like, oh why we think it's so funny. It's because Nikki the entire trip has been obsessed with that TikTok trend where it's like, oh so cute. So everywhere we would go, it would, I don't know, it just would come up. Yeah. And so it just really tied the whole day together. And then he said that it was so funny. Yeah. It was just funny. It was so cute. Good times, good times. He was a good time. Yeah, he was really good. Thanks for taking us out, Billy. Really? Thank you, Jane. We had the best time. We hope to see you again. We will be back. We for sure will be back. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I know you travel a lot with like your siblings and your boyfriend. How do you feel like it's been traveling with me? Why is there such a long pause? No, I'm trying to think because I I don't really have complaints about traveling with anyone as of right now. Thank God. Because going on a trip where y'all don't get along is the worst, which has happened to me personally. But I'm not A for good reasons.
unknownHey.
SPEAKER_00I was miserable. But um okay, with my siblings, it's a little bit more like I'm in control of absolutely everything, and I feel like I make every decision. With my family, it's really nice because I feel like my parents make a lot of the decisions. With my boyfriend, I feel like I just turn my little brain off. I still make the itinerary for all of these trips. Yeah. Because I'm just the one that likes to research and go on TikTok and I'd be asking chat what I should do. Like I really use all my resources to make a good trip. But I feel like with you, it was very like, I don't know, I just felt very supported in decisions. And I feel like also like you, I wasn't like alone with everything. Like I didn't have to order all the Ubers. I just feel really supported on our trips, and I feel like I don't have to be in charge of every single thing, which is really nice. I actually prefer when someone puts input in. As long as it's positive. I've never once in my life yelled at a girl like this before. Well, when I travel with my boyfriend, I feel like he is opinionated. Really? Oh no, I like that though. Yeah, I do too. So I'm like, okay, you care, and you like actually want to be here and do something, and I feel like you're like that too. Oh yeah. In a positive way. Um, yeah, but I also like really don't care. Like, I feel like we're very which is really nice. Yeah, I feel like we're very similar. So it's like, eh, it's whatever Nick wants to do, I know I want to do. Yes. Vice versa. I feel like we're pretty open-minded with each other and what we want to do. Oh yeah, for sure. So I rate traveling with you. Oh drum roll. Probably like a 10 out of 10. Oh shit. Oh, yeah. Maybe like a 9 out of 10. Because I think that when we like have big, big girl money, then it's gonna be like you gotta leave some space. Yeah, I gotta leave some space space because I know it can only get better. Yeah, well, I'm excited. I feel like we just have so many like other things that we're looking forward to, so I think it'll be fun. But what was your favorite part of the trip? My favorite part of this trip has been the shopping. I hate to say it. I of course loved it, and I can justify it because it's like handmade, locally owned, or like small business owned. Even if they shipped it from China too, I'd rather buy it from you than buy it from Amazon. Like, I really I would rather buy it here. So all my purchases have been justified, and that makes me feel really good. I love sustainable shopping. Yeah, I feel like there is also just so much that you want to buy when you're out here. Like you just look at everything. It's almost hard to because I'm like, damn, I want to take everything. Even if I don't want it, I want to like help and support. Yeah, and support, yeah. So I recommend everybody, if you love to shop, honestly, to come here because there is so, so, so many options, and I just love it so much. I do too. Why do you think we travel so well together? I think it's because you go in with a I okay. This is what I was thinking about yesterday. But uh I feel like you're very you're you are very type A. Yeah. And I think I'm very type. I can be type A, but I'm also type B in certain things. Like you can follow like a type A plan. Yeah, I can follow a type A plan, but I think deep, deep, deep down I'm very type B. And I was just thinking that I think you ground me a lot to the point where it's like, uh, Nikki's doing so freaking well right now. Like, I need to I need to I need to follow the plan. I think that's what it is. Like, I think and you enjoy that. Yeah, no, I love it. Because I I love to be type A. I just not it's not in my core. Knowing is like sometimes you stress me out. Like how I don't really know how we got here, but we got here and she's doing great. Like everything's working out, but I don't know how this it has been, you know, like I don't know how things have kept working out. How they keep working. That's what I was thinking about too. It's like things just work and thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus. No, yeah, thank you, Jesus. He's been taking care of us out here for for sure. The first day that we went to the first time we went to the airport, no, on our way to the airport. Um, long story, okay. So I have a little carry-on bag, but my mom, both my parents went to Mexico at the same time as I went to Mexico. The Aguilaras were in Mexico, just in different spots. Different spots, but we were scattered around. But my mom left really last minute because she had an emergency, whatever, she took off. And she took my brand new carry-on. So it just felt really bad, you know, because it was like, ugh, like I'd rather and I I don't know, like we have so many luggages, but my mom is a really nice person and she shares them with everybody. Oh my gosh, we used to do that too. And so there's like, like, I'm pretty sure my sister has a couple, I'm pretty sure my brother has a couple, and like nobody's given them back. So we kind of just struggle when it comes down to it. And I feel like we were just so busy that I or I was so busy that I didn't have time to like go and find who had my, you know, like yeah. So it was just whatever. I my type B friend waited till the day up to pack. I was very busy. Uh we had one other luggage, and so I took that one and it seemed fine when I was packing at the time. I don't know what happened. I packed, everything was fine. I took off, and then at the airport, I think I was trying to put something in so that my little personal bag would be lighter. And so that's where we went wrong. That's where we went wrong. We went for comfort, right? Never again. And it's literally me and Nikki. There's nobody in line, nobody in line, and it's just me and my luggage sitting on it. Nikki's sitting on top of it, and I'm trying to close it. No, and like people are looking, okay. There wasn't a ton of people there though, but there was it was still really, really funny. It was really funny. Like, you know, when you're just really on the spot, like your face gets hot, yeah. You like start sweating, yeah, and then I could feel my hair a lot. Just so overstimulated. But we made it work, we got it, we got it here, and we've been fine ever since. I guess we'll see how it goes at the airport. Everything's gonna be fine. That was a good start. We were just giggling. I'm trying to think of like some tips and tricks on like navigating, traveling with your friend. Um, literally just go open-minded, like you're on a trip, you're living life. You know how many people don't get to go and travel? Ugh. I feel like I wanna say keep it small because that's just like my personality. Like, I think I would be overstimulated if there was like more than four people on a trip. But then I see TikToks of people on big trips, and I'm like, oh, that sounds so fun. But I feel like everybody would have to be type B. I don't know if I'd be successful on a trip like that, where everyone's like, ah, we'll see you later. I think it would have to be so open-minded that it was like if you two wanted to do something on your own, you should be able to go do those two things on your own or whatever. I'm really thinking ahead here. Yeah. Um, but I personally like to keep it small. I think, yeah, be open-minded too. And like, mm-hmm. You just can't be selfish on these trips, you know, like you're you're sharing time together. Yeah. Like you both want to get stuff done that day, or if one of you doesn't feel good, you know, like be supportive, or because like you are traveling in a different country, like the possibility of someone getting sick is there. So I think just be mindful of all that stuff. I had one bad night where I think I just had too many juices, like natural juices, too many mocktails, too many mock tails. This is that sounds crazy. Like I'm really a wimp. That's a good thing. I don't drink. Imagine if I had drank. Damn bad. I would have I would have been worse off. So I was a little slower in the morning the next day. And Celeste was like, it's okay. We could just stay here. But that's in the past. I'm okay now. He was like, hell no, we're leaving. We gotta go. We got a list to do. Yeah. Yeah. So I think just be open-minded. I think I mean you just have to know who you're traveling with too. My old nail tech, she moved away. I miss her. But she had gone to Mexico City with a friend that she they had never gone on a trip together, and they were friends, but they weren't like best, best, best friends. And I remember when she got back, I was like, oh, how did it go? And she was like, you know, like I feel like I was a lot more motivated to get things done than she was. And her friend was like getting sick from everything and just like overdoing it, like just eating street food just because like she wanted to be part of the experience, but then like kept getting sick. Yeah. So they kept on like not being able to do stuff. And yeah, like I kept that's a bummer, yeah. But like, like girl, be realistic, you know. Which we've been eating good. Yeah, no, I've been wanting to like grab like some street stuff too, but I get a little scared. I know when it looks it smells, it looks delicious, smells delicious, but I'm never gonna forget this one time that my cousin, my cousin's fiance told me that after a concert, she got some street, and I know this is in LA, not Mexico, but she got some hot dogs, some street hot dogs, and she was throwing up in the truck. I just ever since then I'm I've been afraid. Well, it could have been because she was like drunk too. Could have been. Yeah, probably. That's food poisoning doesn't happen that fast. That's what I've heard. Yeah, because it like still has to go down to get the poison. Hmm. You're so smart. See, like, this is this is also. Nikki, you're so smart. Wow. I you were just so on. Like, she just really, you just really are so on it. Yeah, you're like great. Not a lie, I'm not a hater. Um, what's another trip that we trip? What's another tip that we have? Also, I feel like with your friend, that's such a like risky thing to do because if the you guys aren't even best friends, you guys have never traveled together. Like, you guys are really gonna go on a trip and spend days like in an enclosed space. I'm assuming they didn't get two separate hotel rooms or rooms. Seriously. So I was like, dang. I'm so happy I've not gone annoyed of you. I'm like, okay, she'd be like this my best friend. I told Nikki in the beginning of this trip, I was like, I really hope that like you just have a good time. Like, I don't want you to not want to ever travel with me again. That's what I told her. No, you're so funny for that. When she was, oh what that's when you were talking about the pressure thing, how you were like, Oh, like we recorded the first episode. Yeah, yeah. How I feel like a lot of pressure. Yeah, later that night she was like, You know how you said this? I feel the same way. I was like, What about this? I think you have to be really honest about your financial situation too, going into a trip. Like, you have to be like realistically, what are we both looking for on this trip? Like, are we gonna go to fine dining places? Are we gonna only shop all day? Are we going to spend a lot of money on guides and activities? Like, where do we want to allocate our money to? Yeah. And I think if you guys are polar opposites on what you want to spend your money on, you probably like won't have a good trip. But since me and Celeste both like to shop and we like to see historical things, but also on a budget, and I think it's just worked out that way. Yeah, I also think we both just like love the experience, but we also really, really love to um take pictures everywhere we go. Yes, so we want to find the prettiest spots, yes. So we're like we're willing to get in there. We need to do what we gotta do. We'll buy the ticket for the park. No, the parks here are insane, literally so stunning, right? Not just like the palaces that we've gone to, but like the actual just literally, yeah, literally the parks. The parks, yeah. Insane, yeah. Parque mehiko is insane. Um, I think that the reason why I love this city so much is because there's so much greenery still. Like there are trees everywhere, like the streets are a little jacked up because those roots are big, but it's green, but it's really green. Like, I actually can't wait to post my dump. I'm really happy because this mysteriousness, I'm over it. I know, yeah, guys. We saw our neighbor having sex. Oh my gosh, yes. No, this was really funny. You start off. Okay, okay, I'll start off. So, so we're I'm getting ready, I'm at the mirror, and the way that our our setup is is like we're in one tall building, there's another tall building across from us, and then all literally every single Airbnb has a balcony. So Nikki's like, Celeste, like, there's a guy over there. Like, she was this was the nightwork went out with my cousin, too. Yeah, a lot happened this night. We were on the phone with Haley, and I was basically like, oh my gosh, there's this guy like half naked across from us. Yeah, literally like in his towel, lathering something with lotion. Like, and we should like that. Should have been the first flag that something was about to go down in that apartment. That should have been the first hint. So whatever. I am looking, I'm looking, and he's like looking back at us. And I was like, okay, I was like, that's kind of weird, but like, yes, like yeah, so whatever. He will have been unlocking it. We forget about it. We're continuing to get ready. So then Nikki says, like, oh my gosh, like he's having sex with someone right now. Like, he there's a dog. The doggy, like, I saw the leg swing. And mind you, he has his windows open, but it's dark in his apartment. And dark in the guy, the windows open, like no blinds, no curtain open. And I was like, oh my gosh. But I got a little shy, you know. So I was like, okay, I need to stop looking, but I just could not believe what I was witnessing, you know. Right. So they go on, they go last couple minutes last. No, they haven't been going at it for a while. Positions are happening. Every time we glance over, they're doing something new, crazy. So then after like 20 minutes, the less goes, it's two guys. He's gay. But we were like not, and like out of all the things, like one, we did not expect our neighbor to have sex pretty much in front of us. And two, like, we didn't expect to see gay porn for the first time. Like that's pretty much what it was. Like, no, and it was really funny because for like the longest time we were like, damn, like we thought it was a girl this entire time. Oh, yeah, we really did because we saw them like we saw him lather up, get ready. We look five minutes later, boom, he's in position, you know, like it was very quick. And then boom, when we saw that it was two guys, clean up, go. Like, and it was weird because the next day his blinds were closed all day. Just today I saw his blinds opened and we're leaving. And I'm like, what if it's like a hoe house or something? What's a little tiny apartment? That's perfect, cheap rent. They're literally like studios. Yeah. Wow. Anyway. This has been interesting. We'll let you guys know how that goes. Yeah. But he's I'm really happy for them though. They did what they had to do, you know what I mean? They had a good time. Yeah. Yeah. Seemed like a great time. Um that's just crazy. Sorry guys. But like I kept seeing him stare at us, so that's why he was throwing me off. Yeah, because we didn't we almost thought that it was a girl. It was so funny because at first we're like, oh, he's so despicable. That's so disgusting. Like he purposely is putting on a show for us, and then we saw it was two guys, and we're like happy for him, you know. But like, why are you putting a show on for us? Like, why? Like maybe because we were two girls getting ready. Like maybe he thought we were on the same vibe. I'm like, we're girlfriends. Like Girl space friends. Yeah, I don't know what he was. I don't know. I I didn't really get a chance to ask. Oh my gosh, I was dying because we made this, we made this TikTok. Nikki and I just like, we do the most romantic things together. These dates have gone crazy. And I was talking about it, I made a TikTok about it, and I was like telling my TikTok followers, my 380 something TikTok followers, that A, it's going up A sort of that we just go on the best dates. And then she was like, she said something like, Yeah, we just need a candle right here. And I said, Yeah, at this point I just got a kid's nickname. Blush blush. No, but like seriously, no, but seriously, they've been so romantic. Like literally like news of all, like the city. I mean, I'm sure you go on romantic dates with your man. No, yeah, we do. But it, I mean, we haven't got to Mexico City to see the so calor. Like, it was beautiful. Yeah, it was beautiful. Everything has just been insane. The parks. And something in these beers, man. Like, I have one beer, and I'm like, I'm like, only in Mexico. Are you sure about that? Yes. It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that we haven't really been prioritizing three meals a day. So we do have breakfast in the morning. Yeah, we have like a good breakfast. Yeah. There was we're just busy. Yeah, we're you were insanely busy. We just don't even have like time to stop. And then sometimes too, I feel like we because where we're staying, there's a lot in our town. There's so much. What's it called town? It's in our neighborhood. It's like how there's like east side, west side, uptown. Yeah. And so we're like already familiar with the little taco spots or like little dinner spots. Oh, that's what I was gonna mention too. That I feel like we've had a good balance of going out to actually eat and sit down and just get tacos. I feel like we've had a good balance. And or like breakfast too, like our breakfast spot that we really like to go to. So yeah, girl. I wish I could have another one before we leave. Wink wink. Please. Um, but like I feel like we've had a good balance of that. But like I was saying, we're already so familiar with what's in where we're staying, what's around. And also once you trust the food, like once you're hard in, you know, like you're not gonna want to test venture out. Yeah. And when we go to different spots, like different towns, it's just a little bit harder because we're kind of like, oh, then we have to like go on TikTok or search to look at the kids. Yeah, because we don't want to get sick. Distrusted, yes, exactly. It's really hard. It's a lot of work. Every trip is like that though. I think that is what I lack the most in my trips, is that I don't research the food enough because I just it's so overwhelming and there's so many options, and it's like what's close by and not inconvenient to go to. Like, I don't know, it's that's probably what I struggle with the most in my itineraries. But lately what I've been doing is just writing down a bunch of food options that are recommended, and then once we're hungry, I just like look up what's closest to us, and I feel like that is very helpful. If any of you guys are interested in making an itinerary, I think TikTok is really, really, really helpful. And if you guys need any tips, tricks, questions, concerns, literally just message Nicole. Like this is your girlfriend. I have sent my itinerary out for two people for Washington, DC. Really? Yeah, like they I know I was on nerd. I'm like, you should sell them. No, for real. Because time, effort, and commitment go into those itineraries. I'm going um to the East Coast with my man in a couple weeks, and I was already starting on that itinerary. It's all over the fucking world. I'm really trying to. No, I literally look over at her and she's like working on, she's like looking on TikTok, she's looking at an itinerary. I thought she was looking at Google Docs. I thought she was looking at our itinerary. I look and it says June something. And I'm like, we're in May. And so I was like, wait, are you working on another itinerary? Like, give me an even though with this trip. No, as in the Ubers, you guys ever been in an Uber, okay, and they get a request for a new ride. Like, let's focus on what's inside of this car right now. Drive safely right now. Yeah, like I don't want you thinking about what's next. I want you to be in the moment. Yeah, yeah. That's what I was gonna talk about. We literally have gotten our steps in this trip. Like every single day. I feel tiny. We've walked, we have walked so much. It's really cool though, because Ubers will take Ubers everywhere too. Like if we really need to, like if it's late. Um, so like that's really nice. Also, the weather has been, in my opinion, it's been perfect. Like I think so too. It's sunny when it's snowmy, glow cools down, and it rains, and it has everything. We love the rain. Nikki and I have really just like loved this trip because well, I have, but I really have loved this trip because it's just been so wholesome. Like we'll come home at the end of the night and we'll put on a mood. Like we both like shower, do our routine, then we get into bed, we watch a movie, or we'll like go through our pictures, or we'll FaceTime Haley, or we'll just mom or something, like we'll talk to our family. No, I agree. The people that know I'm here. Um yeah, so it's just been really sweet. No, that has been one of my favorite parts too. Like just being able to decompress with your bestie is so much fun because we just like hung out all day and then we're like, okay, let's hang out again and deep. It's like, girl, we we'd we spent the day together. You would think that we would run out of things to talk about and we haven't that's what we were talking about. Yeah. At this at one of the bars that we went to with my cousin Billy, he there was these girls next to us and silent. They were silent, like they were not speaking to each other, like they wouldn't even crack a smile, like their drinks would bring poured. I don't know if they just were over it or like it wasn't their vibe. But it was Saturday, so it was kind of like this is when you're supposed to be popping. Yeah, like it was either early in the trip or they were leaving Sunday, is what I'm thinking. I don't know. But it was the water god to them. Like the water god to them. I'm really sensitive, so I can't have my drinks with ice. I'd be done. And I think that's what happened that night. I don't know, I was fine. I I think it was the juice. I don't really think it was the ice, but I kept telling Nikki like the the ice was imported. Ice was imported. She she's been lying. No, I swear, guys. She's like, guys, I saw that she goes, Nikki, I saw them get imported. And then the next day we went somewhere else and gave me a cup of ice with milk. And she goes, Nikki, I saw them get imported. Like, what did you see them get it off the boat or something? Like, what do you mean, imported? She's like, just drink it, just drink it. I'm like, girl, I'm eyes on my coming. Like, I'm barely getting by. I got confused because I felt that the restaurant was the same restaurant. That's why that's what happened in the ground charge. No, but it was so funny. They were silent, and me and Celeste were like, wow, that never happens to us. Nope. We always got something to say. And if we don't, it's because we're eating. No, some of these guys like we're so bad. We need to start eating before we get too starving. But oh, when you eat when you're starving, though, it just tastes so much. It does. But we've been so busy, that's why we get to that point. Otherwise, if we were to say, like, oh, let's have breakfast at this time, have lunch at this time, and have it. But I feel like we have late breakfasts and early-ish dinners. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like, and it's just hard because when you're out and about, you're kind of just like, well, let's just like we have to get to the next place. Get to the next place. Exactly. We also like haven't just been staying in Roma Norte. Like, we went to Coyacan, um, I forget St. Lucia is like where the airport was at. Just a little bit outside town. So, like we said, we don't really know all the good restaurants in all those places, so we just wait till we get back. But then when we get back, we like to get comfy and cozy. Yeah. And then time just gets away from us. But I feel like we have not run out of things to talk about. And if we run out of things to talk about, we'll make a TikTok or something. We always keep each other entertained. That's my favorite part. But we were we really were like, hmm, they really aren't saying nothing right now. And they it that was it was like that for like 10-15 minutes. Then they left. And we're like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe it wasn't their vibe. Yeah, maybe. They should have gone to Aurita. That place was fun. Yeah, by the way, the two places that we are talking about. One of them is Aurita. So much fun. So much fun. The second place is Handshake Speakeasy, which is supposedly like one of the best of the best. And their drinks were really, really interesting, and the atmosphere and the service was really good. I had a banana split, um, what was it, martini? Yes. And I don't really like martinis like that, but this one was good. It was a banana split martini, and it had a lego, a chocolate, vanilla-filled Lego, vanilla-filled Lego on top of the martini. That was good. It was good. You could take a sip and then you bite it. The Pino Colato was really interesting. Yeah, that was good too. I had like cilantro on it. You take a bite of the cilantro and then you take a sip.
unknownPretty good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I was like asking my cousin, like, it was so funny because he's like, you know, in his like food element, like that's his thing, food and drinks. And I was like, I was like, I wonder why they do the cilantro. He goes, yeah. And I was like, do you think that it's because on Pastor Tacos um they put pineapple? He goes, Yeah. You're on to something. I thought it was like, stop it before I take your job. Like I was like, are you supposed to be educating me? Am I supposed to be educating you? No, I was telling Nikki that she does so much traveling, and as we all know, Nikki's gluten-free. So I'm telling Nikki, you should start a series and just like branch out and tell people where the good places are. Because sometimes we'll try a gluten-free place and it'll have like no sugar, no nothing. Nice to smell bad. So I think some places are like amazing. Yeah. Maybe I will. Maybe because that would be really helpful because um with these food places, I do look up like gluten-friendly options, gluten substitutes. Because some places it's like, yeah, a salad might be gluten-free, or a piece of freaking burger patty might be gluten-free, but it's nice to also like be able to enjoy a whole meal that's safe to eat. Yeah. Maybe I will. Maybe I'll start that. Absolutely, you should. I'm really excited for that. I'm like gonna be waiting. Our trip is coming to an end. Tear. Sadness. I'm really not that sad though, because I feel like we've been talking this entire time, like, oh, we have to come back. Like, there's just so much with that we need to do again and that we have to do again. So it's like, we're gonna come back. We're gonna come back. And I um my mom before we came was like, that is so good that you have like a down friend. And I'm like, you know what? Celeste is my down friend. If I'm like, Celeste, I kind of want to go to this random spot in this random city two hours away. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's go out. When do you want to go out? Look at my calendar. Like you always make it happen for me. No, yeah, like it's not just because I'm a down friend, because I was thinking about this too. I am a down friend, but not for everybody. Yeah. Yeah, you're not. I really if I I'm a down friend if I really like you. Yeah. And I think that's why we do so much together because that just makes it more special. We get along so well and we have so much fun together. But it's been real fun. Yeah. I'm really sad it's coming to an end. I know. This won't be the last. No, it won't. We got a lot of things to do. In the summer. Well, I mean, God willing. I really gotta see where my bank account's at. No, we'll make it happen. I'm pretty sure I'll be there. We make it happen. You'll be there. We make everything happen. One thing about me and Nicole, if we want it, we're gonna get it done. And we're gonna have the best time doing it. Yeah, we really will figure it out and get ourselves there wherever we need to get to. Period. What are you so seriously serious about today? I've been thinking a lot. And I love my Baye suitcase. Love her. Love her. I've had her since 2021 or 2022. She is expensive though. She's there's a really big price tag on them. And I just like I don't want to say that they're not worth it, but I just it is ripping a little on the inside. And this is like one of their first models. So I'm like, I'm sure that they've like gotten better. So I want to get a new suitcase. And so I don't know, but they're just so cute and they just have the coolest colors. So I'm so seriously serious about like being more selective with my money. Like, if I'm gonna invest $300 in a suitcase, that better last me, honestly, for the rest of my life. Like, that is a lot of money for a suitcase.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I'm just trying to be more selective, guys, and where I'm gonna invest my money. That's how kind of how I've been with clothes too. Like, if I'm gonna spend a penny on something, like it's gonna it better last me and it better go with everything. But specifically my dilemma is my suitcase right now. So I've just been like googling on Reddit and like what do people really like? Yeah, um, I know I love your base suitcase. I've used her a couple times too. Yeah, she's great, but yeah, she's expensive. Yeah, so I don't know. We'll see. I'll let you guys know what I get. Yeah. Because I need one for like my next trip, pretty much, is like what I'm thinking. Me and Iggy both want um a new suitcase, a red one specifically. And we were looking at the what's it called? The roll what what's it called? Ramoa. Ramoa one. Why is that shit so expensive? Why is it $900? Like that is crazy. But then I've also heard bad things about that too, where they like pop open, they explode. Like when they're under. That's crazy. All this close everywhere. Yes, I have seen that. There's this TikToker, Victoria Paris, and she was like, do not get this. I'm bitch. They're lucky, I'm rich because oh my gosh. Yeah, like she was basically saying, like, if you don't have money, like for someone who a thousand dollars is like jump change. Yeah, it's like, okay, I'll get another one or I'll get it fixed. But like to someone who puts so much money and it's an investment, it's like, what a waste of money. Right. So that's what I'm so seriously serious about. I'm so serious about that too. I really need a new luggage and I really need it to be like a good purchase. So if you guys have any recommendations, let me know if you guys love your suitcase. But then I'm also like, before I had Bayes, I used a suitcase from Costco. Okay, Kirkland. They eat up. Their suitcases eat. My thing is like I just want like a cute little photo up with a cute color. Yeah, especially because I travel so often. Like, I want to love it and love looking at it. And it's a good investment for you, I feel like, because you travel a lot. Yeah, that is what I am so seriously serious about. I am devoted to just traveling more this year. I feel like I travel a lot too. You do, but I want to be wanna branch out more? Yeah, I want to branch out more. I feel like I go to the same places. Like I go to Mexico a lot. And I love Mexico, don't get me wrong. I think I know what's next in my list. What is after like oh I started googling this uh Guatemala? Oh. Antigua? Specifically, oh Prague too, but like it's not that safe, I guess. And I don't know if there's that much. Antigua is, yeah. That's like where you can go. And I want to I want to do like a physical activity. I want to like challenge myself on like a crazy hike, something like that. So I want to do the hike up the volcano. Oh yeah, but Antigua is like it's a little bit more, I would I hate to use it, but like maybe a little more touristy, which is okay for a location that I've never been to. Like if they purposely make a spot safe that I can go travel to, I'm gonna go. Yeah. Because I'm a girl. I gotta play it safe. Yeah. So I really want to go to Antigua, I think. But that probably honestly won't be probably maybe until next year. Well, I don't know. Maybe I'll make it happen. Yeah, you never know. I've been making trips happen. Yeah, you never know. What are you so seriously serious about? I'm serious about traveling. Oh, okay. Yeah. I think I just like want to like do more things, go on like more weekend trips, more cute. Just travel. Go out places, go explore. Like, I think you could and one thing about like my group of friends, I have a group of friends that like love to travel. Like one of them has like a go wild free pass and is always like, guys, we should go here, we should go there. Oh my other friend, his dad's a pilot, so he's on like the fly list and he can just be like on the bypass list. That is lit. And then the other has like a friend that is a flight attendant or works at the airport or something, so then he's on a list. So I'm like, damn, I'm the only one not on a list. So you need to become a flight attendant or something so you could get me on the flight. Right, right. So um, yeah, and when I was little, I always want not little, probably like six years ago, I wanted to be a flight attendant so bad because I just wanted to travel the world. And I still think about it. I thought about it, but I'm like, oh, I want to travel it leisurely. Yeah. I don't know if I want to do it for work. That's what I was thinking about too, because my dad has traveled a lot, but it's been for work. Yeah. But like, do you really go on vacation? It's like our friend Haley. I feel like she she goes on trips out of like necessity. And I was telling Haley, like, no, you need a vacay, like, no responsibilities, like just pure relaxation and like, yeah, because we just got on her head because we were like, come on a trip with us. And she was like, No, I'm not going anywhere. Like, I have so many trips coming up. I know. We're like, those are work trips, dude. Like, exactly. No, you're coming on a trip, actually. That's how I feel about like nurse traveling too. Like, I've thought about that, but I'm like, I would want to do my contract and then just extend a week or two for vacation. Yeah, you do work a lot when you're traveling as a flight attendant, but you get that time, like you're not working during that time. Like, let's say like they drop you off in Brazil, like you're in Brazil for X amount of time, and then you just go back to work. You know what I mean? Yeah. So I don't know, it sounds really cool to me, but I just like that's like another thing I'm serious about. Well, I guess I'm not serious about that, but I always have been the type of person that I have so many things in this life that I want to do. Like I can never just stick to one and I hate that about myself, but it's also like I love that about myself too. Yeah, I'm just so passionate about it. It's bittersweet, I think, to just have such a dreamful heart. Yeah. Oh, another thing I'm seriously serious about. Um really sorry about not posting every day like we had wanted to. We really wanted to do that. We just I think that's another thing too, though. When you're traveling with your friends, like have some respect, be in the moment. And I feel like me and Celeste have been so good about like being in the moment and just like giving each other like our undivided attention. Like no phones, like we put our phones down while we eat and stuff. Like, don't get us wrong, like we obviously love content, we love TikTok, we love Instagram, we're just girls, yeah. But I feel like we have just been like really in the moment and talking to each other, and just like I don't know, it's just been amazing. It's been really fun, and so that's also why like we haven't really been working, like we haven't like really locked in. We just had too much fun. I know the trip is coming to an end, and I was like, so that's we gotta do another person. It's already gonna be Wednesday. Bye. We talked. So this is us because we also love you guys, and it's gonna be so much fun to listen to this. But it's gonna make me reminisce whenever I miss Mezzo. I'm gonna listen to these episodes. Yeah, but we hope you guys enjoyed. We didn't really um share that we posted our last episode because we were just so busy, but yeah, I think you guys will catch up. Yeah, you'll catch up. It'll be a little treat. Thanks for listening, guys. We'll miss you last. Yeah, wish us safe travels. Is that how you say that? Yes, um, and everybody pray that my baggage is under the weight limit because yes, yes, yes, because it was over this last time. Now pay a big book, sends up more vibes, started off a little rocky. Okay, guys, I'm Nikki. I'm Celeste. We're seriously just girls, and we had so much fun talking to you. We'll talk to you guys next week. Bye. Bye.
