Shelbie wakes up in the lobby of a... mostly deserted building in one of the flooded districts of Tokyo. Her head is still aching from the cuts, and her mind is reeling from the morphine Polio gave her on the street, but there's no time to recover. Digimon will keep attacking her, and next time she might actually die...

The Digimon system we're using is being homebrewed by Lio as we play test it. Our theme song and graphics were made using AI, and the background music in most episodes comes from M4S on Spotify.

Hi, it's Little Cho and welcome back to the Chaos Group 2. I'm gonna start our first actual session of the Digimon game with the recap that I recorded at the time because it's fresher and more emphatic than um my memories of it now. So I'll get straight into that and I'll see ya on the other side. Okay, so last time I watched a bunch of people I knew of but didn't really know go into the big egg outside of town. And then a weird homeless man came up and was asking for money. And he was amusing but still a weird situation. So I gave him enough money for dinner and left. And my dad called and we had a really awkward conversation about all of the preparations I'm supposed to be doing for mother's birthday next week. Um I lied to him and said that I was on the train because I wanted to just get off the phone, and the concept of me actually being in a real alley didn't register with him. I was driving around home bringing into a dumpster. There was a goblin-type Digimon in there that very nearly killed me. Speaking of which, this is a good time to remember that I need to add three adversity tokens to my sheet. Um It was trying to eat the the uh the beggar guy's e-pulse because it had infected my sapatama. And then the beggar guy showed up with Wispmon and defeated it, which was just great. But I passed out and then got my injuries treated at a veterinarian. And then woke up in the lobby of this place, which I don't know where we are, but I know we're not supposed to be here. I know he's taking a dump in that one office on the disc. And um my life is pretty much over. Uh. Because if I leave, then I'm just gonna die. I don't wanna move in with him so that he can protect me or whatever. And he offered to let his ghosts travel with me and to teach me how to be a bounty hunter, which I've decided is the least bad of several bad options. Um yeah, my sapatama is fried now, so I cannot come home and it just hatched into that thing.

You know that uh essentially uh non-functioning Sapatama are like they're not irregular. People people get bad iPhones. That's a thing. But there is certain situations of you know of cleaners, you've heard of cleaners, they're things. Um if cleaners are real, it means that and like this shit is real, it straight up means that you kind of have that situation where uh they will definitely be able to see that something's wrong with your subtama. They'll definitely be able to tell that it has something to do with uh e-pulse and Digimon things. Uh there has been stories of like people with irregular e-pulse being taken in and essentially put on military lockdown. Oh. Uh good. Yeah. Cause they have been considered threats.

As you see on your sapama, uh all of a sudden it starts spinning until the like loading wheel starts to become what resembles an egg. And then after a few seconds, it uh of this egg sitting there, it just bin spin spin spin, and then you hear doing doing as the eggers. As everything stops. All of the everything around you drops, uh the energy stops, the wind stops blowing as it's quiet for a second. Polio sits there as he alright. I think that did it.

Uh meaning that we'll be able to use each other's separatamis to help out Digimon Digivolve and all that sort of bullshit. I'm sending Wispy with you because Sangamon here is new to the Digimon world. Isn't that right, Sangamon? Yeah, I'm gonna um you don't get it right with this.
