Bonus 6: Outtakes from Session 14

As a thank you for listening, I've compiled a collection of moments that I had to cut from the podcast, but wanted to keep anyway. I post these for my friends to chuckle at, and now I'm sharing them with you. This week, we have outtakes from session 14. Enjoy!

Hi, it's little jump and welcome back to the Chaos Group. This is the last batch of outtakes that I have right now, and then I am caught up and good to go. This is only session 14, but it's still about 25 minutes long. So I thought I'd just go ahead and make this episode, get it uploaded as a backup for the next time that we need to build a buffer, or somebody gets sick and we need the week off or something. Um I know my previous outtakes videos, I've all been like, oh yeah, we had a schedule change, Penicon. And then I just ended up deciding to give us a month off the summer. But this is why we prep. So I hope you're having a good day. I hope you get a few laughs out of this. And I will see you on the other side.

Unless it's one of those like you get beaten up and they just tell you to put your shit enemy on without you, but like I really needed the attack to land because it's the only turn possible that it's gonna get through. Like, I realize I've stumbled onto a broken strategy, but I have to use it every single round now because I am too outmatched otherwise. Um and I am just burning my own health wire to do this. Which is not my preferred strategy. We're effec- we're effectively running Blood Mage here. Where you use your life force to do damage. I am profoundly nervous. I don't think he's gonna I don't think he's gonna kill me. I think I will get like one warning fight. But he might. You know, because he offered me a way out and I didn't take it. You actually are supposed to retreat. Um yeah, to the description. So uh I am just outside of Sleeker's office. Wispy is blocking the doorway to it. Malcolmon is right next to him. A 10 feet away from Wispy. Holding Salvatana. Um behind me, there's the club's bar. And then back diagonally about 25 feet, there's the massive eyes in the darkness that came up through a grate in the basement. Past that another 10 feet is Toy Graymon, who's not large, but like huge. And then right in front of him is Slicker who's uh like resting against one of the support columns. Tojero and Flame Winds are presumably still downstairs with Julian and Who knows where Keo is. Also, who knows where Toy Graymon came from? Maybe he could have escaped from the fighting ring. This could be unrelated. But um Yeah, I worry about my future.

Yes and no. Like, part of me is dying because I want to be cool, but I am just so outmatched, and I don't want Wispy to hate me because I did something too sleek or like. And like he's family now too, and I feel like there's no option but to run, but part of me hates it so bad because I'm actually competitive, and I wanted to beat this guy and take everything and be all like screw to people, but I just I don't think I can risk people's lives because she doesn't have people. If she loses the one she has, she's right back to having nothing. And time and time again, people have been like trying to insult her and stuff, and it just it doesn't do anything. She legitimately does not care what they think. Um so I feel like this job is probably the first time there's been any kind of stirring of like motivation or desire to really fight or compete because her whole life she was just been pushed to compete in academic stuff where she was going to lose no matter what. And you stop trying, you know. But the thing with like when Kyo was running her mouth before and everything, like the answer's not go at her, the answer is improve yourself.

It does, it really does. Just for a little explanation, the woman on the ground that I was so excited to see was Loria. And the reason is because the beginning of the session, she's sitting on the couch with Sleeker. I'm on the other couch with Wispy, well, Boxmon. And then Itanda and Falcomon break in, and Leo describes Loria like standing up and peeling into a doll or puppet type Digimon. And it freaks me out because I thought it was actually a puppet the whole time, and he had been like, Yeah, this is my partner in crime and my partner in life, and I'm just like, ooh, Cooper thought the puppet. But no, she's a real person, she just has like a teleport skill with her Digimon. So that's why we were so happy to see her. But anyway. Um yeah. With the way that things are going right right now, with scheduling and everything, I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a game episode for you next week. I probably have delayed using this until the next time that I feel like I really do need a week to catch up and stuff.
