We turn the mic into a reaction feed and let random reels test our patience, our sense of humor, and our ability to be fair. We roast first, then try to find a more human response, and we end by admitting we might use the same tools we complain about.

• setting up a “rip it apart” reaction format then switching to a kinder take
• calling out low-effort viral premises and the short attention span trap
• joking about stereotypes in skits and how fast comments turn mean
• noticing how competence shows up in small jobs and everyday skills
• debating what feels real online as AI and editing blur the line
• breaking down a classic TV moment and what manipulation looks like
• arguing about sports movie realism and why actors often look wrong
• reacting to virtue-signaling clips and what actually helps
• announcing a plan to make short AI reels from book chapters

SPEAKER_03

Imagine, if you will, an author so desperate for attention, he pretends to smoke a fake cigarette. This is a byproduct of the Stare Pit Zone. Welcome to another possibly exciting andor interesting episode of the Stare Pits Podcast. We have an exciting announcement at the end of the show, and hopefully I'll remember to bring it up. But uh, as you'll notice, it's gotten very cold here in the studio, and Max and I are frightened that our ears will fall off. So we have on headsets today.

SPEAKER_07

They're nice and comfy. Pretty warm in here.

SPEAKER_03

They they are. My ears are sweating while the rest of my body goes into hypothermia. Good. At least it'll save your ears. That's it. Yeah, that'll be I could lend them to like uh I wonder who wants my ears. Like, is there you know, which family member would you send your ears to?

SPEAKER_07

That's a great question. I'd probably just donate them to science. Science, yeah. You know, anyone who lost their ears in a car accident, they could have them.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely. Yeah. I don't know who I'd send my. I think I'd send them to just some random person. Oh, good. Just in the mail. Just one day you get a box and there's some yeah, there. So um one of the things I thought we would do in a feeble attempt at gaining greater popularity to our podcast is this since people love reactions, like reaction videos, people looking at things, that that's something that people want to deal with. Yeah. And because I really didn't prep for today at all, sometimes I have a mild amount of prep, or I think, oh, this would be fun to talk to Max about, but I didn't really think about it that much today. So I was thinking, what we need is just fresh meat, right? Just what can we go at it? So back in the day, this is how people would react to things. Okay, ready? Yeah, oh, that's nice, or oh that was it. Wow. Oh, that's nice, or oh. And that's too bad. Okay, but there would never be, oh, what an idiot. Ah, what a you know, doofus from the planet Dorko. Yeah, you know, or something like that. But in today's world, we feel that it's necessary to rip people to shreds. Yes. So what we'll do on this is um Caleb's gonna throw up random videos, and then you and I are going to be the worst example of the internet where we're just going to rip on them shamelessly.

SPEAKER_07

Wow. Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

No one's barred here. Yeah. And then at the end of that, what we'll do is we'll go back and try to do a slightly different version where we'll just pray for the people.

SPEAKER_07

Okay. Good.

SPEAKER_03

So we'll show that we have the capacity where people could then see both sides, since nobody on the internet's ever interested in the middle, is interested in the middle of the bell curve, right? They want, you know, extreme anger or extreme, you know, kind of victimization. Yeah. We'll give you both.

SPEAKER_07

You're a man of many talents, R.A. Thompson, a man of a lot of range here.

SPEAKER_03

That's what we are going for is big range today. So really what it comes down to is you get a chance to see old, generally annoyed at the world white guys version of it and young hip black dice version of it at the same time. And then whatever other, you know, pigmentation you have, you could either be, you know, that side of Max between us, or if you're an albino, you can sit over here. So we'll have something for everybody.

SPEAKER_07

Yes, a sliding scale, if you will. That's kind of what it would be.

SPEAKER_03

So are you ready? I'm ready. Okay, good. Yep. Caleb, throw us the first one.

SPEAKER_00

Let's see what we get. Please, please, yes, no, no, no, no, no. Yes, yes, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_12

No, no, no.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I can do it. Yes, no. No. No.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I've I've reached the wait for it, Mark. We can stop the video.

SPEAKER_07

The fact that on the first one, you didn't even make it to the end.

SPEAKER_03

No, I what I did was I could I could just it's like I could feel that I was ready to puke. Okay. You know, that's that's really kind of what it is. Yeah. So this is my first initial thought on it. Eventually the girl is way out of the guy's league. Okay. Do you agree with that? Yeah. I mean, eventually she's gonna look at it, and somebody, some guy that can do is not a guy that's ever gonna perform for or is ever gonna be able to provide for or do anything, right? And if either of them thought that this was a good idea, it's not. Yeah. I mean, my cat might be somewhat interested in watching the ball back go back and forth, and that if you know, one of them's gonna die, their house is gonna get hit, they're gonna get engaged, she's pregnant, they're gonna find money, or that they're gonna put a star on top of their Christmas tree. I mean, what what do you think that means? You know, they're gonna get a Carl Jr. burger.

SPEAKER_07

Uh-huh. Something like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I don't know. I would just say that if you were to wait to the end of this, and I don't know how we I don't know how long we got, but generally my initial thought would be um I would probably have watched it a little bit longer if it just would have been her.

SPEAKER_07

Okay. Okay. Right.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, and that that's that's my thought, is it's like if you're doing something silly, you have to get to the point.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_07

Well, and hey, you you might be old and out of touch and not be on the internet as much as my generation, but I mean, you are pretty uh accurate on the the short attention spans of the people who are on the internet. I mean, I I didn't think that I would last longer than you on the curiosity of of this video, but yeah, pretty dumb and stupid on like, oh my gosh, what is my year gonna be like determining on where this random ball is gonna bounce uh on those one, two, three, four, five, six different pictures. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So yeah, I mean, that and if that's what if that's the way you're gonna try to run it, I mean, here's the answer. Just don't don't leave it up to the random ball. Here's the answer get a second job and buy a house.

SPEAKER_07

100%. Yes. And and and here's the best part, Robert, is that because you and I are friends and I know you pretty well, you either think people are helpful or pretty stupid. Wait till you see what what lives on the internet on a daily basis.

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, this is just this comes into our second part of it. Yeah, now what we can do is this. My prayer for them would be that he might recognize that other than being somewhat, I guess somewhat cute, that he needs something, other reason to, you know, it's that's just he has to dude find something to do with your life. And for her, um, I hope that she finds a real person. So my prayer for them would be that you know, one or both of them, you know, be eaten by alligators or hit by a bus. And then they could they could do a side. I mean, you notice that there's no hit by a bus down there, yeah, no doubt. As one of the choices that I think should be one of them. Okay. I don't know. What's your thought?

SPEAKER_07

No, I s I I I echo the I echo the sentiment. I mean, hopefully each of them can uh can find the hopefully this bouncing ball, whatever the result was, will help them each find their own individual paths in 2026 because together it's not working great.

SPEAKER_03

Is it possible that the ball might get caught in the guy's throat and he might just choke out? Could be. See, that would have been funny. Yeah. See, now if they wanted to make this video significantly better, the little ball goes into the guy's mouth, he inhales, it goes into his throat. She's so excited about something, she screams, tries to do the heim look, it doesn't work, and the guy just dies. Now you tell me that that wouldn't get worse.

SPEAKER_07

No, hey, that would get a ton of views. See, no doubt. See, I I can fix all of these. Yes.

SPEAKER_03

All right. Good call, good call. That's it. Next one.

SPEAKER_02

So uh just a heads up this red bar at the bottom is how much longer it had. Okay, yeah. So you you lasted 30 seconds.

SPEAKER_03

That's for me, that's an eternity. I mean, that's you know, that's 30 at my age, like I don't have a lot of days left.

SPEAKER_07

I was gonna say, Rob Robert's closer to dying than anyone in this room.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

And so you don't have 30 seconds to wait.

SPEAKER_03

If we watch more of these, we might be dumbed to death. But no, so um, that would be the other thing, Caleb. If Max and I were to die from watching this, just keep the camera running and we'll see how long people will watch right on as the bodies decompose. It'll be cool. But no, yeah, I'd say that I made it into 30 seconds on that. If that thing goes, I couldn't make it to the end. I mean, I wish I could, but I just here's the answer. I just don't care.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, there you go.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Next.

SPEAKER_02

Here we go. I have pickle.

SPEAKER_09

I have pickle.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, can you lick a pickle?

SPEAKER_01

Lick?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Lick a pickle.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my hell. Okay, stop. No way. This is just okay. We can kill this one almost immediately.

SPEAKER_07

But hold on, hold on. I am you are a cat owner. Yeah. I I mean you you should you should be in in synchronicity with licking the cat's head. No. For me, that is Okay.

SPEAKER_03

So back in the day you had um Three's Company. Did you ever see that show? No. It was terrible. And the premise of it was it was a whole bunch of kind of sexual innuendo jokes that went into it. So ha ha, you know, woman with cat, lick the pickle, ha ha ha, ha ha ha, ha ha ha. I mean, where does it go? I mean, again, classic example, she's hotter than he is. Um, he's holding the pickle. The way he's holding the pickle right now is pretty much the same way he's going to be when he starts stalking her when she actually starts dating somebody. Same look on his face.

SPEAKER_07

Fair point.

SPEAKER_03

No, seriously. Fair point. Tell me. And she has the same point too. Oh, I'm finally gonna have a house and I'm gonna be happy and I don't have to do silly videos. And he's thinking, damn, I will never find a girl that hot again.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, but apparently the the intelligence, she's licking the cat, though. So I mean, at some point, you know, the she might be hot, but the the intelligence level there, you know.

SPEAKER_03

I look at it this much. If you're 85 years old and you're looking to wander around with hot, inappropriate age girl who's willing to lick cats, you marry her, when she dies, she gets a couple hundred thousand dollars, and you know, you died, you know, you died happily.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_03

My father had this idea at one point that he wanted to die between the legs of a gymnast. Didn't happen that way. But, you know, that was his that was his theory. So she might fill that capacity on her.

SPEAKER_07

I did not know that about your father. That's a simple take. He had simple goals. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I don't think the cat, I mean, the sad thing is if I had to spend an hour with any of them, this would be my win play show. Cat, pickle her. And if it was him, I would just I would I would ask him a lot of questions about state capitals.

SPEAKER_07

Gotcha. Yeah. And hopefully he would do as bad as I did.

SPEAKER_03

He would do much better because he would at least talk more about the pickle. Pickle city. For sure. You know, that's what he would, you know, relish city. Yeah. He'd try to work that into a best many pieces he could. No doubt. If we were gonna pray for them, what would we pray for them on?

SPEAKER_07

I think we just pray for the cat.

SPEAKER_03

That was my thought, too. Yeah. I mean, just pray that the cat, you know, someday that the guy that she marries ultimately will like the cat. Yes. She'll probably have more fun talking to the cat. Yeah. Yeah. But that's kind of it. Also, the idea that if you look at their capacity to be covers, and I guess that they have a little board between them that separates the two of them, the fact that he's looking down in a way and she's looking up in the opposite direction. You know, if that was a painting, it would be a painting of separation.

SPEAKER_07

It would. You're right. Hang in the Louvre.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah. That would be it. That's so that's that's my thought. How how long did I make it on that one?

SPEAKER_02

18 seconds. Yeah. I'm building up I'm building a huge taller.

SPEAKER_03

It's getting worse. Yep.

SPEAKER_02

It's about half half duration every time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but it just but I mean, but where can it go? I mean, the answer on it is this it's like whatever they're gonna say, it's not that funny. You know, I mean, the the only potential funny thing would be if he were to stick the pickle up his nose and then like sneeze for an hour. True. That would be interesting. That's the way that I would save it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Could you save it? No, no, no, not at all. I didn't think you could. I don't think it's possible. All right, go to the next one.

SPEAKER_10

Can you let go of me for one second? Just one second. Oh my god. Oh my god. How many times do I have to tell you? Food, this, that.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, stop. It went slightly longer than the previous one. But raining most relatable moments. Um So I'm kind of walk walk me through what so let me ask this. First of all, why should I care?

SPEAKER_07

I don't know. I'm seriously, right? I mean I'm not 100% sure. I I was I didn't make it past the first one, um, where what to do when you're robbed, because all I noticed was not only was the man who was attempting the robbery on her black, but he's wearing a Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson jersey. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Is that racist?

SPEAKER_07

If that doesn't fit, you ever been to Baltimore? You've been to the city.

SPEAKER_03

I've never been, I've been there in the airport, but I've been able to get it.

SPEAKER_07

I mean, my goodness, if that doesn't, if that like I'm giggling inside because I'm like, that is the most perfect stereotype. Not only is it a black guy, but he's wearing a Baltimore Ravens jersey. Like prototypical, stereotypical. That is awesome. So that was a good pull by those guys. Maybe they didn't even do it on purpose.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

But as they're as the resident black man, I think that's hilarious.

SPEAKER_03

See, the thing that I pulled on it that was good was that they bothered to the car was washed. True. That was the thing that I noticed. Well, they bothered to wash the car. Yeah. Now, if they'd put as much effort into scripting the video as they did to washing the car, it would have been better. Absolutely. But yeah, like I kind of felt that it was like, okay, so what do you do if you're robbed? I guess the first answer is why do you have your window down? You know, and in the car, the tall, thin paddle next to your, you know, in where your feet are, where your, you know, where your right foot is, that makes the car go faster. Absolutely. And so, I mean, I I could have solved a lot of the problems there.

SPEAKER_07

That was probably the longest into the video that you've made it so far.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I went all the way down to the third one, but then it's like there was no whatever software they're using, they didn't, they didn't have decent, there's no production value of it. And when you get into the fact that her how you know her house isn't relatively clean, and you know, even when they're trying to do the thing on here, if we went back to Charlemagne, who we talked about in the podcast, actually, that there should be spaces between reigning most relatable moments, not raining most you know, relatable moments. It's and the the last one is the best.

SPEAKER_02

I have pickle.

SPEAKER_03

Oh pickle is back? Oh no, we are back to pickle. Well, pickle pickle is all of a sudden so of the three so far that we've done to it, I would say. They obviously groomed the cat. They get points for that. The guy did get all the moisture off of the pickle so it's not dripping on the thing. So there's a little bit of production value there. The first one with the bouncing ball is even like just yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Let's see what we get. Yeah. Yeah, no, this is no, no, no.

SPEAKER_03

That's just totally wrong. Yeah. I have tickle. No, no, pickle is wrong. They're wrong. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

This one does say the last one's the best.

SPEAKER_03

It doesn't change the it can't be. The best thing would be that there was a time machine on it and you could click on it and you could get the 45 seconds of your life back. There you go. That would be the best. Nice. Now keep in mind ours aren't particularly this, you know, what we're doing here is is on par with theirs, but we're spending less time. 100%. Yeah. Yes. That's what it would be. If we're going to pray for these people, I would just say, you know, pray that they um that they can continue make payments on the car.

SPEAKER_07

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Because without that, they really don't they don't have much of anything. The other thing they could have done was they could have given her a bigger purse. That would have been good. You mean if you're going to do the purse, give her a bigger purse. Yeah. You know, make it something on that. And again, if I'm going to try to rob somebody's purse, if I'm robbing somebody in a number 10 jersey in a whatever generic car that is with a small purse, I'm not risking, you know, that much time. Rob a better person.

SPEAKER_07

100%.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, find a white person, you know, and you know, put her in a bigger dress or something like that. I mean, you could have you could have done for sure. It's my thought. Do you have anything to add to that?

SPEAKER_07

I think you covered it.

SPEAKER_03

I think you covered that. I think that you also gave us a good sense on the racism. Do you think either of the other ones had any significant racism in it?

SPEAKER_07

No, no, no. And I I just like the the I mean, just the the stereotype value of this one was fantastic. So 10 out of 10 for me on the on the first one on this list. Right there, baby.

SPEAKER_03

So this is the best one so far. 100%. Just being able to advance, you know, toxic stereotype.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, Lamar Jackson robbing a purse from somebody. I love it. That's pretty good.

SPEAKER_03

In the old days it would have been somebody in a Raider jersey.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, yes, you're right.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yep. We're no longer relevant. No. Even more sad. Next up.

SPEAKER_07

This hurts my soul watching this, and you know why. Yeah. Okay. Stop. Um pizza's my all-time favorite food, just so everyone is aware. Yeah. And so that pains me to see them just destroy a good pie that did nothing wrong, did nothing to deserve that. I mean, you know, they're, you know, there's starving children everywhere. I'm hungry. Okay. That pizza could have gone in a lot of different ways to help a lot of different people, and they chose to waste it. So I'm disappointed. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I kind of look at it in the theory that they're showing all the different people going down there. And I would kind of look at it this much that the guy that does the pizza thing every day, you know what he is? Really good at it. Yeah. You know, and if you were going to get the girl that's the restaurant manager, if the guy that has to get the pie on the thing had to do her job, rent wouldn't be paid. Nobody, you know, there'd be that there wouldn't be cheese, there'd be a thousand other problems that wouldn't be happening there. So the fact that people in different jobs or different places have different specific skills or specific genius. Um is that is that new to anybody?

SPEAKER_07

Um, no, I don't think so. But hey, round of applause for you. That's the first one we've made it from start to finish. Did we make it all the way to the street? I yes we did. Yep. Did we really?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it will repeat. No, no, no, no, no, no. I don't, I don't, I don't need a rerun on them.

SPEAKER_07

So hey, congratulations. That captured your attention enough that we made it for. Fast enough.

SPEAKER_03

No, it was well, it was fast enough, and it was like I was like, okay, I'm gonna give it a possible that second that it might get interesting at some point, but it's like um I don't know. The the women aren't totally hot. I mean, I don't know what they're doing. I mean, it's like, okay, so you have people that maybe can or can't get a pizza on a yeah, I don't know. It's and it amazes me that number one, somebody produced it. Number two, if this is a top performing thing, what is the threshold for excitement? Yeah, it's next to nothing. Next. I did go longer, though. I feel bad about myself now.

SPEAKER_01

This was a very special exam. The girl simply smiled at the mirror. A shining golden star immediately appeared above her head. It meant she passed the exam with a full score. Agatha forced out a stiff smile. Black smoke.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, it's like yeah, I don't know. It's the poor girl there is, you know, praying that no one will see this, I guess. That's kind of what she's doing.

SPEAKER_07

It's like Yeah, no, I mean, I like I'm sure this is this has to be a clip from some movie that I haven't seen or have not chosen to enjoy. Um, and also a movie I wouldn't watch because apparently it held my attention for about four seconds. This is this is the type where you know I'm scrolling through, because I do scroll through reels on my phone. I know you don't. I participate in the in the sin of that. And this would be what I come across, and it's ah, two seconds in, zinc, I'm out of there.

SPEAKER_03

So and so what do you think is the person that would watch more than what did we make like seven or eight seconds? Caleb, how much time do we make on that?

SPEAKER_02

Or 11.

SPEAKER_03

Eleven. So if we spent five and a half times more time on that than you would have. Yeah. So here's the question what is the person that's gonna watch the whole video?

SPEAKER_07

Uh someone who likes princesses, somebody who likes dresses, somebody who has seen this movie, because again, this is a clip from a movie. Um, and so yeah, I think you know, one of those three categories, or you know, the the the star rising above the the girl's head out of her hair. Maybe that was lice. I don't know, but maybe you know the lice that was forming the star above her head. Um uh maybe that would have piqued some people's interest as well. Yeah. So but yeah, like I said, this is this this is this is a movie that probably doesn't fall into my this doesn't fall into the into the Star Wars Lord of the Rings Marvel genre that you know I thrive in. Yeah. So didn't really pique my interest a ton.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, my thought is the person that watches all of this is someone that has incredible arthritis or is missing fingers where they can't go to something else.

SPEAKER_07

Gotcha.

SPEAKER_03

Or perhaps that pickle the cat was, you know, they were petting Pickle the Cat and the cat was they drop their phone. Gotcha. I think this one makes it to the end of the video if somebody drops their phone. Okay. That could be it. But yeah, I would just it's very sad. And if this is a movie, if this is actually a movie of something else or a TV show, how did I don't think that YouTube allows you to capitalize? You can't get paid. You can't monetize if you're using somebody else's copywritten material.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, maybe maybe not. I know Caleb Caleb would know more than that. I'm not 100% sure, but I know like uh people do clip up tons of different uh uh instances from TV shows and movies and make them into reels like this. And I know some of those ladies that are actually actors, that's that's the only reason I know that it's from a movie or TV show. Right.

SPEAKER_02

It looks like an AI recreation. The voice was definitely AI, yes.

SPEAKER_03

So yeah, it was too fast. So yeah, I guess that the desire to have uh you know black smoke instantly rose from above her head. Do you think you need to have black smoke in there? Could you just say smoke?

SPEAKER_07

The smoke wants to be recognized as so it's it wants to be identified also as a racial identity.

SPEAKER_03

So just that was the answer. Yeah, I just didn't know. Thank you for asking. But I just was curious. So that's it. All right.

SPEAKER_00

Is your crush really meant for you?

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah, stop. Um they looked somewhat Asian, right? So if this is the way that let's say they had you know, like China has a large probably Japanese probably didn't work. But how could you if this is the precursor to how you think romance or something works?

SPEAKER_07

How how how does dating work? I mean, I think that this is this is the equivalent to your generation of she loves me, she loves me not. Picking the flower petals. I I I I think it's just a digitized picking of the flower petals. If you did you ever do that with any girl where you plucked a flower out of the earth and that determined your fate? Did you ever did you ever dabble in that?

SPEAKER_03

No, I would take a cat and I try to pull individual hairs out. It took longer. I found more of samples on it. Yeah, yeah. But no, I uh no, it never occurred to me that that would, you know. Because that is your generation. No, that was before my generation. Really? Oh, yeah. That was like that was people that they used to do another version of that with daisies. Will the brontosaurus step on me? Will it step on me? Will it not? And the thing is, the more things that you pulled, the more likely it was that the brontosaurs would step on you.

SPEAKER_07

Yes. Sorry, well, my I apologize. I'm giving you too much credit for your old age.

SPEAKER_03

No, no, that's before that's on me. That's yeah. No, that's like yeah, that's it's just what it is. But I guess all generations have things on it. But I guess my prayer on this would be that C and J um would, you know, find happiness based upon that. Absolutely. So let me ask you this. You're sitting at home and all of a sudden, okay, do you want to so we'll we'll do a recreation of this. Do you want to be C or J? Uh C. Okay. So we can play it both ways, okay?

SPEAKER_04

I really think that C is wonderful. I'll make this video and I'll send it to him.

SPEAKER_07

You got it. Wow, it's so awesome that Jay send me this. Yay, I love her.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Now we'll switch it the other way. Okay, you can send it to me.

SPEAKER_07

Okay. Wow, uh wow, Jay is great. Let me send this video.

SPEAKER_03

Why in the hell is she sending me things when I'm looking at sports?

SPEAKER_07

That's a better answer.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's that that's that's that's my take on it. It would be, yeah. Okay, it doesn't, I mean it I'm sorry. I don't see how it works. Fair.

SPEAKER_12

I just didn't love you.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Now the tiger's got me. The horse bored me, but I'm back to the the polar bear and the tiger out of my interest only because I was hoping that they would eat the cameramen. But I don't know. What about you?

SPEAKER_07

I love I was fully engaged. I love this. This is this is by far the best.

SPEAKER_03

Let it go. We'll go more.

SPEAKER_12

So it's dad doesn't want mom to be that it's with me.

SPEAKER_10

So goodbye.

SPEAKER_07

Bravo. I loved it. Okay. I loved it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

But the the the only thing I want to point out is the fact that I loved every minute of this, every second of it. Um But that mice mom, that mouse mom did not get her child away from the snake. Just so everybody's aware. That one ended poorly. I looked like every everything else turned out okay. Yeah. But that was the one that did not end, that ended in tragedy, if you will. But everything else, great. And you you had to have been locked in on this. The amount of times polar bears have been brought up on this specific podcast, and that's the first thing they show. No.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I would say my interest, Kurt, polar bear was high, horses that I'm kind of scared of was low. And that's when I was going to cut it. But then when the tigers came in, I'm generally a big fan of tigers. So I was going to watch it up there, and then the other ones were mildly interesting, but I think that the way I would look at those those clips, it would go dude, girl, dude, maybe, maybe girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl. Okay, no, but but in terms of interest, right? For sure. Yeah. Because if they would have started let me ask, if they would have started with snake with you know, mouse or rodent chasing snake, and then gone to mouse covering the other little mice with the uh, you know, the piece of tissue, and then gone to the uh the swan, you know, shading its uh gauzlings on that. At what point would you have cut out on it?

SPEAKER_07

You know, um the interest level probably wouldn't have been as high from the start. Would have been a hell of a finish because you put the other videos on the backside.

SPEAKER_04

But we never got to it.

SPEAKER_07

But uh I s I love animals. I I the the animal reels, those are one of the ones that always lock me in.

SPEAKER_03

I would just say that for me, it's kind of like I've seen the overtly cute ones on it. To me, the one that I thought was the most interesting was when the lioness was more than willing to let her cub drown so that the lion wouldn't come and get in the way.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So I kind of think it's like, you know, what is it? You know, I just kind of work at it, you know. There's a Bill Cosby line that he uh once talked about what he said his father said to him was he told uh Bill Cosby said that his father told me, He says, Listen, you know, I have you, I have your brother. Children are a lot more fun to make than they are to raise. Amen. You can get rid of you. There you go. That was kind of his answer on it. But yeah, something along those lines. But no, I would say that that one, that one, I don't know if I would ever send it to anybody, but I might watch it again. Okay. Good deal.

SPEAKER_09

Wanna see what I wrote on my bat? ST with a heart around it? ST for Stephanie Tanner. Does this mean what I think it means? I hope it means you're my girlfriend. All right! I hate to even say this, but if you threw me a couple easy ones, I'd be sure to get a hit. Isn't that cheating? Kind of. Or it could just be a girlfriend helping a boyfriend. Well, you could look at it that way. Great. Thanks for helping me, Steph. Let's see if the game.

SPEAKER_08

But if you let him get a hit, you'll be letting your whole team down. Tough one. Well, good luck. Well, you have to decide what's more important. Self-respect or true love.

SPEAKER_09

It's gonna be a lot easier.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. First of all, it went on way too long.

SPEAKER_07

Great show, though.

SPEAKER_03

What show was it?

SPEAKER_07

Full House. Oh, really? Great show. Yeah, that I that's why I didn't want to say a word. I'm like, hey, this is this is a good TV show, right? Did you ever watch Full House? No. Man. But here's the thing that I mean, well, it also this takes place in the bay.

SPEAKER_03

It does, yes.

SPEAKER_07

I mean, the opening shot is the Golden Gate Bridge, which is big ridge. Also based on stair pits and things.

SPEAKER_03

But no, the uh the house that they have, the exterior shot, there's normally a traffic jam of people going around trying to get pictures of it. Yes. Yeah. So I would say the answer to it is it's not an example of, you know, true love or helping your team. It's the example of recognize when you're being manipulated. Amen. Absolutely. You know, and I just can't it's like so. I have one of my big bugaboos on almost all things, and we talked about this the other day, when they show somebody doing something that is obviously never done it.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Right. So she's never thrown a pitch and they cut it to the point that it's not working. And the pitch that goes down in a way to the kid, you know, somebody else threw that the boy might have accidentally swung a bat at one point in his life. But it just doesn't it it just kind of the whole idea of um well let me ask this in terms of sports things that were done, like mo movies or something like that, what is the best sports movie in terms of realism?

SPEAKER_07

That's a really, really good question. Um I'm trying to run through all of them in my head. Um I would say I would say Hoosier's wasn't bad.

SPEAKER_03

Hoosier's in my book is number one with a bullet.

SPEAKER_07

I would say um Glory Road also was not bad. Remember the Titans? There was a whole lot of not football guys that like even just by the way they ran, right? Like you go back and watch it as a football, from a football perspective, you're like, holy pissed.

SPEAKER_03

Also, and remember the Titans? The uh the black dude was Avon in um in The Wire. He was, yes. So that's to me, that was always kind of funny that I looked at him and thought, you know, so were you actually brought up in Virginia and then like moved to Baltimore and became a gangster or what you know, walk me through how that happened. Right, yes, but yeah, apparently changed.

SPEAKER_07

Great story though. Love the whole thing. Um, the best football, the best football movie when it came, I feel like to just like how the athletes looked on the field, the replacements. You ever seen the replacements?

SPEAKER_03

That's that's pretty good.

SPEAKER_07

Shane Falco, aka um uh uh oh man, what's the movie that he plays where he kills the kills everybody? There's like four movies. The guy who plays uh the main character in the replacements. You know what I'm talking about?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, just that guy. We'll put him in. It's a good thing he isn't here. That's gonna bother me. Yeah. But no, that's that's a good movie on it. I would say the original longest yard with Burt Reynolds for a jokey football thing was possibly okay only because they had a lot of actual football players in there. Yeah. But they're just they're getting a paycheck and they're there to party and they don't care. Um but yeah, for me it's um one is Hoosier's uh two isn't. Maybe you could say secretariat on horse racing, but that's like, you know, you got a horse and it's running, and they got the actual footage of secretariat running, so it's kind of going. Um but yeah, I'd say that most slapshot might be it's not real hockey, but it's funny, you know. Um but yeah, I would say that most sports movies they can't find actors that can play sports, so it it doesn't quite work. For sure. Yes. Yeah. The kind of mild gay porn of Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer in um the original Top Gun, you know, playing volleyball with their shirts off. Uh-huh. I don't know if that's volleyball greatness, but I'm sure there's a tremendous number of people that have watched. So that's what's yeah. Yeah, I would just say it's um kind of home movie-ish, is what I would say.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

That's what I would say. But no, I I went much longer on that one. Um, did you ever see this episode of Full House?

SPEAKER_07

I've seen all the, I don't remember this one specifically, but I have seen all the episodes of Full House. And me and my siblings would watch this when we were growing up. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So the um the thing that's relatively funny about it was in that era of the Giants, they had kind of like an anti-hero uh mascot that was the crazy crab. Okay. And the idea was to boo the crazy crab when it came out. And that year the Giants had the uh All-Star game there. So the crab came out, and every and like the Giants fans that were there were booing it, and everybody else was you know, kind of giving you know, kind of mercy applause to the uh to the whatever to the mascot, and it just didn't quite work that well. But the thing whoever pitched the idea of the anti-hero mascot didn't understand sports just strong thing.

SPEAKER_07

Also, Shane Falco played by Keanu Reeves in the replacements, John Wick. That's what I was talking about. Yes, but where he goes, he just kills everybody in four fate movies.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but that isn't a um his best football portrayal. The replacements? Yeah, his best football portrayal is in Point Blake, where he plays Johnny Utah.

SPEAKER_07

Oh. Wow, okay. Okay, fair. That's fair. Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, so no, that's my um that's my hit on it there. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

I like that.

SPEAKER_03

Johnny Utah. A little pop culture for everyone today. That's it. Yeah, no, that's it. You get me into the Keanu Reeves thing. I get pretty better on there. All right, next one. But that one went longer than most. Okay. The ad I thought was actually pretty good. No, it's heartwarming. It really is. I think it's kind of one of those things that's heartwarming on. Yes. I I think it's always kind of amazing when people come to a realization that everyone is a genius. I mean, everyone has a particularly unique skill. And that idea that the person didn't think that you could draw with arms, but I mean i i it's you can if you practice. I mean, it's it's good. The only question I have is the guy could have paid him when he got the original piece of art that he did.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I mean, I would say that that that piece that, you know, the guy walked away, saw it, and then gave him money after the fact. It's like, you know, the guy did do something for you that's clearly how the guy makes money.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Don't be scared to, you know, just pay the guy originally.

SPEAKER_07

No doubt. Absolutely. But yeah, this is that's awesome. I mean, just again, just a reminder that that you can really do anything you set your mind to, no matter what your limitations might be. Uh Physically, so that that's very impressive.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I could see myself sending this to people saying, do something with your life or you'll cut your damn arms off. I mean, you have to have the thread on the back of the case.

SPEAKER_07

Absolutely. Yes. Yeah, yeah. That's a good one.

SPEAKER_05

This cab driver is seriously speeding, but the cops can't touch him because he's the fastest taxi driver in the world. This time he's picked up a special passenger, none other than French soccer star Gibrils Sisset. With only six minutes until the World Cup kickoff, and Daniel has to drive thirty kilometers to reach the stadium. To save time, he hits a business.

SPEAKER_03

So generally, I think that you know, wrestling is a performative sport. Okay. Soccer is a performative sport. Yes. If they wanted to, they could just pick up the ball. Yes. Great point. Just lost me there. Yeah. No, I think that's a good thing. It's not a real sport.

SPEAKER_07

Yes. Relevant at the fact that the World Cup's happening here in a couple weeks here in the grand old US of A. And I I thought I thought you this this was kind of more. I mean, as the car started to transform and things. I mean, I thought that was kind of more up your alley. No, dude. I mean, come on now.

SPEAKER_03

Right. So, first of all, it's a sleepwalking thing that kind of looks more like Godzilla with a devil tail than a lion. Okay. Okay, that's not a lion. So the whole fact that they're talking about soccer being a sport. Yeah. People caring about soccer. And that, you know, you hear you have this sleepwalking lion. Possibly with a gang, you know, affiliation with the 406 on it. I don't even know where the 406 area code is. Yeah. It's probably in Iowa. No, and I say that because there's a reason. So just for those of you playing at home, here's a clever little piece on this. The way that area codes were originally, I told you this before, didn't I? Yes. Yes, yeah. So area codes are assigned based upon on a dial phone how long it took the dial to get back to neutral. Right. So 406, that's 10 clicks of the thing. So it's not a lot of population. So like in Utah, we're at 801, which is 19. So it's the same population that Utah would have had when they put that system into place. Gotcha. So I would just say Iowa would be my guess, is probably where it is. Perfect. Wow. But some places have a lot of people. You're right. Anyway, but that's just it. But I just I don't I mean I just didn't care. The guy's gonna get in the car and he's gonna race through a bunch of things. The guy's gonna slap back into it. And that's not the way that I mean the guy, this is what it comes down to. If the guy is in a performative sport, let's say like wrestling or soccer, and the guy isn't there six minutes ahead of time, the guy takes has less interest in it than I do.

SPEAKER_07

Amen to that. Fair. So that's kind of it.

SPEAKER_03

So I just don't care. Okay. The premise lost me. Stop. Um it's almost to the end, but that's it, it can't go any farther than that. It's like Alfred Hitchcock talked about like when you're doing movies, you want the interest curve to continually ascend. So like once the guy hit himself in the head and there wasn't like an ice pick in it, he lost me.

SPEAKER_07

Once he didn't die, once he didn't die when he hit his head, you said, you know what, I'm out. I'm good. Well, no, well t well tell me. I get it, I understand. I understand. Were you interested in anything that happened? No, I mean I I like many people know I don't generally cook, so saving recipes, not really my style. Yeah. That's why I have restaurants. Exactly. Yeah, good.

SPEAKER_03

All right. But I made further on that one. I just thought it would have been racially insensitive to cut it off.

SPEAKER_07

Fair. Okay. Good point.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that was it.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, here we go. Hell of a song. All right, stop. I think I already know what you're gonna say. The fact that it's not it's making a sound like it's cutting off their feet and their legs and not actually doing it. Very poor uh uh production value there. That if it's not going to actually punish them, this is what Robert thinks, if it's not actually going to punish them for for hitting the red square, why are we even doing this? Am I am I somewhere on on the right track here?

SPEAKER_03

Maybe I was actually thinking, like, why do they have the horse at the back?

SPEAKER_07

Okay, I was not looking at that. Yeah, that's impressive.

SPEAKER_03

It's like I was just thinking, well, because like they've got like a horse there, and maybe that's cool, but it also seemed like you could track that thing, and the thing that they're missing the point on it is since it always goes circular and it doesn't reverse, just chase it. True. Right. So I mean there's there's a simple way of doing it, just chase it. Yeah. And just stay one step behind it, and you can you can move almost as fast as and it won't get you. Just so anyway, that was just and it would be much better if let's say it was somebody with a fire hose, you know, shooting scalding water at you or something where there is more of a penalty to it. But yeah.

SPEAKER_07

See, there it is. Yeah, there has to be a consequence.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but the horse is yeah, the horse was just should have been, I don't know. It but I mean, yeah, it didn't. Okay. And that's and that's I it also strikes me that there are certain things that you kind of look at and you immediately know that they're Asian. You're not wrong. You're not wrong. I'm just saying that it has the weird technology piece, it's kind of cool, it's kind of funny, it's whatever it is, but it's like I just okay, like nobody in Wisconsin would ever come up with that.

SPEAKER_07

They're too busy creating new cheeses.

SPEAKER_03

Right, yeah, no, yeah, because that's what they're thinking about. They're in the cheese laboratory, right? The same thing. Okay, but did any of the people that you met in Argentina, would they even dream of this? Probably not. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, great point. Yes, yeah, right.

SPEAKER_03

I mean absolutely yeah, I mean, it it's you I don't know, it's just it's one of those things. 100% that's what it is. It just strikes me as okay, well, there it is. Yeah. But, you know. And at least and I will give them this much one. It kind of looks like it's maybe a family or you know, they're doing something together. I mean, there's a lot of positive things happening in it. To me, it's just that the horse at the end is just terrifying, and that's I wouldn't have done it. Horse could have come to life and killed me. Next one on that.

SPEAKER_07

I am blown away at the fact you did not let that run the entire way. You're much more of a cat person than I am.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, my thought was it struck me that it's probably highly doctored on it, that you could get some of the pieces to it. And it would be interesting if it was more organic or more a sense that it might have actually happened versus just editing on it. But like I could so watch. Okay, give me the riff off of the little that they were doing on it.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah. So tell me this. Do you I'm not done. Okay, sorry. Okay. Holy shit. Do you think this is this is doctored just because it's on the internet and and or and because it looks so insynchronous? Do you not believe that this is when it comes to the cats and the things like that? Um I is unedited from that portion, or do you believe it's doctored just because we have that technology, it's on the internet, and you don't think cats can move like that in in such a a you know simultaneous way?

SPEAKER_03

I don't think there's such a thing as a blue stool. See, that was that was the part that just struck me as like that that doesn't exist.

SPEAKER_07

That's why you stopped it right there. You saw the stool and said, ah bullshit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's just it's nothing there.

SPEAKER_07

This video ain't it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. No, I think that it's there might be elements of something like that happening, and if maybe you scoured the entire internet for everything happening that that was going to go down, maybe you could put it together. But uh all it made me want to do was get a better resolution and try to see if it was real or if it was manufactured. I was more interested in the production than the story.

SPEAKER_07

The the internet has created, especially over the last couple years, right? Adding AI into everything, the internet has created a whole faction of the public that are just skeptics of everything. Right? You watch a video, real or fake, doctored or not doctored, and you always question, is that AI? Is that real? It's like we are now at that stage of society where you have to question every single video that you see as there's a 50% chance that's fake. Right? I mean, especially with how good AI has gotten these days. So it it is kind of sad that we now have to question and have to ask ourselves, hey, is that doctored, or even to the point where you watch a video and you straight up just say that that doesn't that's not real.

SPEAKER_03

That's fake. I have the same feeling about my shoes. Like I wonder if they're real. Could be fake. I don't know. I just wanted those ideas. You know, it's like the same idea that like I don't know. I spent a lot of time looking at them and just tried, are you real?

SPEAKER_07

Absolutely. You put your shoes on the right feet today. So I didn't take them off last night.

SPEAKER_03

Next, okay, it's too much personal information.

SPEAKER_00

Is that a ferret at the beginning?

SPEAKER_03

Pretty girl, pretty girls, the stars, and so like the goat one with number one, if you're gonna have goats and you hadn't figured out how to do that ahead of time, you know, that's like after the house caught on fire and then you turned the hose on it, maybe the answer was, you know, turn the oven off with the bacon feet fat in the um in the frying pan. And it's you know, so I don't know, people are occasionally doing good things. I don't and when they showed the dolphin jumping over, it was like, you know, I don't know. It's like, look at me, I picked up trash.

SPEAKER_07

Exactly. It just gives gives you a twinge of hope that there's that there's 20 people out there in the world left and they're still willing to uh care for the environment.

SPEAKER_03

But also it's the same point that if you have to put it on a video that, you know, look at me, I'm virtuing singling, I pick up trash. I mean, okay. Everybody that picks up trash, dude, outstanding.

SPEAKER_07

You're a hero. 100%.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no, that that's right It's right up there. Okay. I would actually hope that in the Marvel or maybe the DC universe that they just have trash picker upper man, you know, who would just have a little thing that would go and just occasionally just pick up trash.

SPEAKER_07

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Because after they fight and the city's ruined, that guy'd have a lot to do.

SPEAKER_07

Very important. Yes, the the the trash cleanup people um uh in the in the the superhero universes might be even more important than the heroes. That's well, that's true.

SPEAKER_03

They're they're the real heroes, man.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Next.

SPEAKER_02

These cherry s'mores bites are the perfect sweet treat.

SPEAKER_03

They okay. I like that much better. That oh, that was a commercial. See, the commercials I'm kind of liking more, which is sad.

SPEAKER_07

I hate I was like, that looks disgusting.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I was too, but I was gonna totally rip one. And then we came to this cow trying to I'm I'm I'm I'm interested in it.

SPEAKER_07

We haven't gotten far enough into the cow thing to even know what it is.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, go ahead. I can let you watch the commercials from now on.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, the commercials might be better. That's our that's our new thing. That's right of Robert's. Is the commercial better than the is the commercial better than the clip? Gotcha. Okay, go ahead.

SPEAKER_07

Okay, I was curious if there was something in the water, but it looks like the water is just very dirty and disgusting. Yeah. Um farmer doing his due diligence to take care of the water. I appreciate that.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so stop. I mean, I don't I see where this thing is going. It's like way too much time. Here, you know, here's the issue on this, right? Ready? If you let water stagnate, it will get disgusting. Okay, and if it has that much material in there, there's probably something where there's a smokestack where they're burning something, and that's where you got the um the material in there on it. And okay, so that stuff's been in there for a while. So he was making the poor animals drink the crap for how many days, and then you know, once a month he goes in there and cleans it out. And someplace he can't get like a child waiting pool that he could just clean and hose out and put water in and make it go.

SPEAKER_07

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_03

I could solve that guy's problem in like 2.2 seconds.

SPEAKER_07

Probably. I mean, this this this looks like somewhere in in India or something like that. Um, where so you might need to ship a couple uh couple thousand uh uh kitty pools to New Delhi. You can get them from this.

SPEAKER_03

You can get them from am they'll they'll deliver them, you know, and it does they don't cost that much. And it's worth I mean, you gotta look what is the cost of maintaining your animals so they don't die from whatever is in that stuff. You can fix it in a matter of time. True. Also, is this something that tries to show us that hunchbacks are more virtuous than other people? Kind of look at how the guy's crunched over there.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So this is like a hunchback virtuoso thing.

SPEAKER_07

Uh Disney did make a whole entire movie about that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it was actually based upon a piece of literature, but it's all right.

SPEAKER_07

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_03

Next. Pete pranks, the police.

SPEAKER_01

Hi, how are you? Good, sir, good sir. Good, good, thank you. Take it.

SPEAKER_12

Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you.

SPEAKER_12

Thank you. Uh uh.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you. Have a good night. All right, thank you, sir. You're welcome. Yeah, and it's deep pranked.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, that was clever. I that was the best.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I mean, the guy is the way that guy handles the stick. Oh no, he's good. Wow. Like that.

SPEAKER_03

That is actually a very impressive skill. Yeah. Do you think he also is like a conductor of an orchestra, or do you think he just has his stick waving is just limited to this?

SPEAKER_07

I I think this is more impressive than conducting an orchestra. So I think he he has not only a more impressive but a more important job than anyone who wants to sit up there and and and wave their little wand to conduct an orchestra. That is impressive. Do you think the guy makes more on tips than he makes on selling ice cream? For sure. My feeling is absolutely yeah, absolutely. He needs to go he needs to go stand on the strip and do that.

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, yeah, absolutely. Oh my gosh. Except for the ice cream and melt out. But no, the guy's got the shtick down. No, and it was interesting with it, and the cop is good natured on it. Everybody's good natured on being able to deal with it. No, he's got the thing down.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah. Wow. Very impressive.

SPEAKER_03

Of course, on the other hand, you know, if you're one of his kids and you're asking for something, you gotta build in 45 seconds before dad gives it to you. Yes. Can I have the keys to the car?

SPEAKER_07

Oh, no, he does everything on a stick. Sticks them on there, up, up.

SPEAKER_04

That's it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, geez. What do you want? I want to honey, honey. Can you pass the beans?

SPEAKER_03

No, I would say that one I would send to somebody. If I saw you know, I've if I saw somebody was out there, I would send that to people because just thinking it was kind of clever.

SPEAKER_02

Another ad.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but the ad is great.

SPEAKER_07

Can't put that up though. I mean, you're you're you're you're a Starbucks guy.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, but it's got like, you know. So, like back in the day on American Bandstand. Did you ever see American Bandstand? No. Okay. Um American Bandstand was like a dance show that they would have. And then they would play songs. And so there's American Bandstand with Dick Clark, and then the alternative to it was Soul Train with Don Cornelius. Don Cornelius was like 70s cool black dude. And welcome to Soul Train.

SPEAKER_07

Nice.

SPEAKER_03

And they would um then they played uh T SOP, the sound of Phil, dun dun dun, dun dun, and and they would just, you know, play that and they'd have the people dance on it. People on Soul Train dance significantly better than the people on American Bandstand. And so, but on American Bandstand, they'd have like the rate the song. So they would get two random people out of the soul out of the American Bandstand dancers that weren't just kids off the street. They were like actors or somebody that would come in and just dance. So then they would say, So what do you think of the song? And oh, it's got like uh, you know, uh 85. I think it, I think it's really good.

SPEAKER_04

And the girl would say, I think it's like, yeah, I'd give it like, you know, maybe an 87, and because you can dance to it, and I like to whip my head.

SPEAKER_03

And you know, and that would be um like what they would do. Yeah. So I'm thinking of like the you know, the Dutch Brothers energy drink commercial. I mean, it's got the perfect commercial rip where it's bump bump bump bump bump bump bump bump, which is good, I guess, if you're driving on a washboard road. But um and the people look relatively happy. Um the drink on the left looks like it could possibly be a universal solvent or something that would turn somebody into a superhero.

SPEAKER_07

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

Because I don't think I've ever seen anything in nature that color.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

The one in the middle doesn't it well, obviously has specific gravities that are different things in there, but it's like I guess if you want multicolored beverages, you could go there.

SPEAKER_07

Absolutely. We might have to stop going to Starbucks and start going to be able to do that.

SPEAKER_03

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. No, the commercial I thought was good. The guy in the weird shirt in the background. Um, if I was careful, the girl from the first one with the bouncing ball, that guy is a better provider, I think.

SPEAKER_07

Good. All right.

SPEAKER_03

Because he has a real gig. Okay, I would say cute girls with it. I think they give away the farm when they show how they tape the ball to their behind-the-scenes action.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Stuff on that. But you know, it's like the other thing that struck me on it is the degree of additional um camps that girls have been to versus guys. Like, you know, if you were to do something like that on a football camp, the number of people that could do gymnastic moves, you might get a guy that could flip. You might get a guy that could do a cartwheel. Yeah. Right. But in terms of doing something that was like athletic, like the one girl that you know flipped and did the splits on that, yes, you couldn't find anybody at any other guy. I mean, it's like they're not doing the second piece. No. Like that girl had been to volleyball camp and she'd been to gymnastic camp and you know, whatever it was.

SPEAKER_07

For sure. Yeah. And and I mean, just being a former athlete many, many, many, many, many moons ago. Months ago, yes, years and years and years ago, right? Um, the photo shoots are always cool, they're always fun. Um, and yeah, getting to see kind of like because when you're doing it in the moment, when you're doing it in front of the camera, you're like, what in the hell is this? Yeah. You see the product behind it, and you're like, whoa, that's that's very different. It looks very different than how it felt getting your picture taken like that. So that's always pretty cool to me.

SPEAKER_03

What we should do is we should probably give people a little behind the scenes thing of how this works. So watch. This is what happened. When I came in here, I looked like this. And then I put the headsets on. Just like that. Wow. Thank you. Don't try this at home.

SPEAKER_07

Showing everyone how serious is made.

SPEAKER_03

Don't try this at home. I am a professional. Yes. That's all I can say. And there's also a part in it where we do this. Watch this. There you go. Just amazing. Yep. Really is. But no, that one was. I mean, that people could look at that one on it. It does the other thing that I kind of dislike about it at a certain level is it's that one's glam and it's good, but a lot of them get like hypersexual on it. And it's kind of like the, you know, okay, you can just have cute girls doing something, they don't have to, you know, dance like strippers for 40 minutes or something.

SPEAKER_07

No doubt. Yeah. No doubt. So yeah, I think I got one more in me.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, good deal.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, stop. We don't need to go any further. The hippopotamus thing, anything else that's gonna happen is just wrong.

SPEAKER_07

Hey, what a hell of a way to end. Again, we're doing this blind. We have no idea what's coming up next. That that was that's what I have not seen. Hippos are one of my favorite animals. Um, wow.

SPEAKER_03

Hippos are responsible for more human death than any other animal in Africa.

SPEAKER_07

Yes, yeah, right. Crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, that's largely because when they get on an airplane, they're very particular about where they sit.

SPEAKER_07

Very true.

SPEAKER_03

One of the things, yes. So let's do this. Let's pause for one second here and stare at each other. Okay, good. Now, do this, Caleb. Put one up on just Max of a clip of Max and I.

SPEAKER_07

So you didn't come prepared to do that. Did not. I did not So you didn't come prepared to do that. Did not. I did I I did not come just like I didn't come prepared to know the the towns that start with a D, you know, the the capitals that that have city within their name, one residing in in our fair state here in Utah and Salt Lake City.

SPEAKER_03

There's a lot of you should I mean talk about an unbelievable person. I mean, couldn't even possibly get his like hat to have the letters in the right.

SPEAKER_07

Seriously, you can tell this is AI. You can tell this is a little bit of a. Oh no, nobody does that, yeah. Because the the the hat on the letters is upside down. Yeah. I mean, the you know, yeah. His skin looks a little too good. Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_03

If you look at it, he's doing like this thing where he's trying to show that his fit like he's deformed. He's trying to get some feeble attempt at getting I'm crippled look on it. 100%. Some people just I don't get it. I don't just play a little bit more, maybe it gets worse.

SPEAKER_07

Show me every single, every single episode. I'm not prepared for what's coming down the pile.

SPEAKER_03

Guys, like performance review is dangerously close. So if you would in the comment section, like to add in who you just it's just, I mean, condescending ass. That's all I can really just say.

SPEAKER_07

The guy's hair looks a little too good in this shot. I mean, so by betting by this is a tube.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, you can be towed underwater by that thing. Oh, Jesus. No, it's just, I mean, and they're the type of people that would not come prepared to do something and then would just rip on other people in a feeble attempt at like filling out a podcast.

SPEAKER_07

Yep, absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

So, yeah, the this is I would say hippo is the best. This is probably the worst. I mean, this is worse than the bouncing ball thing. It really is. Yes.

SPEAKER_07

I don't know if it's worse than the cat licking than the girl licking.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that was kind of that was kind of that might come in last today.

SPEAKER_07

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

So and then also I did have exciting news that I was threatening to now. Yes. Oh, this is the exciting news. The exciting news is probably gonna be on the next episode. No, it's see that's something that condescending aspect. There you go. Um, what I think we are going to do is today I uh was talking to somebody, and what we're going to start producing, we'll talk to him maybe our next episode on it. Uh, we're gonna start producing little tiny reels of the chapters of the book. And because I'm too cheap to actually hire real actors, we're going to do everything I hate. We're gonna have it made from AI. We're probably gonna get the same soundtrack that was on the uh Asian Square thing. And uh, but we're gonna try to make little films of it. So I think that'll be kind of an interesting thing to try to deal with that. So that that is the relative exciting thing. We've decided that maybe we should just give you more of the book. So uh anyway, that's what we have for today.

SPEAKER_07

Perfect.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, sir. So that's it. I see you're wearing your night's hat. Go nights go.

SPEAKER_07

Go and night shirt too.

SPEAKER_03

Come on now. Yes, we're ready to go. That's it. Today I put on my shirt that has little um uh palm trees on. Yes. And uh Susan asked what this shirt was, and I told her it was my mingling shirt that if I wanted to mingle with people. And so I I do believe that people that wear palm trees on their shirts are inviting people to mingle with them.

SPEAKER_07

And here you are mingling with however many people decide to touch this video across the internet. Three. Congratulations.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, you would think that with your family, we could probably get it up to six.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah. My family doesn't care.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they don't care that. No, no. You know, Father's Day is coming up, you can give them a compendium of all of those podcasts. Anyway, have a good thing. We look forward to showing you next week. Guys can do in some of the video and give you some ideas what's happening there. Caleb, thank you for finding his videos today. Yeah, it's completely random. They were. That's and it showed everything. It was perfect, it's the way it should be, except for the last guy's kind of freaky. Anyway, have a good day.
