Manifestation, Co-Creating with God & the Power of Your Thoughts — Part 1
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Brooke Benevento and Danielle Griffiths tackle one of the most misunderstood topics in personal growth: manifestation. Is it woo-woo? Is it against religious teachings? Or is it actually rooted in something much deeper?
In Part 1 of this two-part series, Brooke and Danielle break down what manifestation really means — not wishful thinking or crossing your fingers, but disciplining your thoughts, aligning your beliefs, and co-creating with God. They explore the ancient roots of manifestation across philosophy, spirituality, and scripture, and share personal stories of how shifting their mindset changed everything.
Brooke opens up about hitting rock bottom, surrendering to God, and finding a teacher who helped her finally connect the dots between what she was reading in the Bible and how to apply it to her life. Danielle shares her own journey from skeptic to believer — and the social media post that infuriated her but ultimately sparked a transformation.
In this episode, you'll learn:
- The real definition of manifestation — and why it's not magic or wishful thinking
- How scripture supports the concept of co-creating (Proverbs 23:7, Romans 12:2, Matthew 7:7, 2 Corinthians 10:5)
- The ancient roots of manifestation — from Hinduism and Egyptian culture to the New Thought movement of the 1830s
- Why you don't get what you want — you get what you actually believe about yourself
- How your subconscious mind shapes your reality and outcomes
- The difference between faith and religion, and why faith is the foundation of co-creating
- How to respond to life's challenges instead of reacting — and why that changes everything
- Why the next generation may look back and say our biggest problem was that we didn't know how to think

You don't get what you want, you get what you actually believe about yourself. So if you want something, but deep down you don't think you're gonna get it, then your actions and your choices will follow that belief with you every single time. And today we are on episode seven. I can't even believe that, but we are. So today we are going to be talking about manifestation. And we want to open this conversation and talk about what is it? Where did it come from? Is it evil? Is it going against religious teachings? And is it woo-woo? Before we start talking about this, I really want to encourage everyone to take a beat and really just settle in and hear the whole conversation before we hit, no, I'm not listening to this. So in Christianity, because sometimes we hear this word and we can think that it is too woo-woo for us. And I really, again, like we said in a um another episode, was that, you know, Christianity back in the day was very, I would say probably woo-woo. It was new. Jesus was the black sheep. And I mean, look at it now. There's 2.6 billion followers, and you know, they didn't think that that would happen back then. So what we're gonna do today is we're just gonna open the conversation about manifesting. And first, I really wanted to start off by talking about what is the definition of manifesting, and I think that will really help with where this conversation is gonna go. So, um, manifesting, and this is the this is the definition. I'm gonna read the definition because I don't want to mess it up. So I'm reading straight from this. Uh, manifesting at its core is the process of bringing something into physical reality through focused thought, belief, and aligned action. The word itself comes from the Latin word manifester, meaning to make visible or clear. All right, Danielle, what do you think about that so far?
SPEAKER_01Well, I this is fascinating to me because I was definitely one of those people when I heard the word manifestation, I thought it was like, you know, kind of crossing your fingers and thinking really hard. And then things happen like it's magic. Um, yeah, I don't believe that anymore, but initially that's how I interpreted it. And if things didn't happen the way I wanted them to, I thought, well, I'm just not good at this. Or I always had an excuse for why it didn't happen. My family likes to joke, I win a lot of raffles and contests. It's just a luck thing. And so when I don't win and I feel like I'm really trying to think about it and want it, it made me think, okay, that's woo-woo. Uh, I've even had family members, you know, claim, oh, is it blasphemous? Like God has a plan. Totally understand that. So I would really encourage people to, like you said, have an open mind and look at the big picture because it's not just up here. There is action by the person. So please share because I think people feel hopeless and helpless in their lives right now, and they're looking for action items that they can do today to try to change their situation. And, you know, last thing I wanted to say about this is if your life is awesome and perfect, bravo. Like that's amazing. But for most people out there, they want some kind of change. So this might be something that you can, you know, baby steps jump into. But I'm I you've taught me a lot about this, and then I've kind of gone into it on my own. So I'm excited to hear what what um how you how you describe it, and then we'll kind of get into some of the the questions about manifestation.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. And that's what we're gonna do today. We're gonna use um sort sort of a question platform and how to do this. Um, but let's start out with this, kind of like diving in. So long before this word was a buzzword, the concept has shown up in philosophy, spirituality, and even scripture many, many times. Really, it is just the idea that faith, belief is within, so without. So, like, I'm gonna read the scripture first that we'll use to sort of correlate some of this is Proverbs 23:7. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he, showing that what's inside eventually expresses itself outwardly. Okay, so really sit with that and understand that when we start to talk about manifestation, what is inside of us, what is in our heart, what is in our mind is coming out into our reality. I have shared my personal story many times. And when I graduated from the Peace and Prosperity Institute, I when I went into this program, I was, you guys, like at rock bottom. And I'm telling you, I went to church, I read the Bible, I was praying, I was begging, all the things that we do when we're in a desperate situation. And then one day I decided, okay, I'm surrendering to God, kind of like Jesus take the wheel kind of thing, right? And I was like, I'm done. I'm done figuring all this out on my own. You have to bring me a teacher because I don't know what the hell I'm doing. And again, three months later, he brought me this teacher. And this teacher, Satish Firma, she he started teaching me all these different things. And when I was in the program, what I started to realize was I started to actually connect the dots. And what I realized is that when I was reading the Bible, I wasn't really understanding how to apply to my life what I was reading. And that was in that was initially really the gap, is that I knew what I knew, but how did I apply it? And so very quickly, I started to learn about this manifestation, this thing that was people talk about wishful thinking, which is not wishful thinking at all. Um, it's not, it's a really about giving up control and aligning yourself with who God knows you to be at your soul's level. And what you consistently think and feel and believe about yourself is influencing what you experience in your reality. So for me, that was kind of the catalyst in understanding that, okay, I was reading something, you know, for since I was 12 years old, but I wasn't understanding how to actually apply what I was reading. And so that was really huge for me and sort of the beginning of my transformation to really understand this whole concept of higher power, God, what was all of this about energy work, different things like that. Um does that make does that make sense? Like what I'm like, Danielle, do you have a story like that you feel like something may have happened to you that triggered kind of this this feeling of, okay, I'm not understanding something the way that I've been taught. How do I apply this and move forward?
SPEAKER_01Thousand percent. Thousand percent. And even I think when we first started this whole conversation, the conversations we were having, I don't even remember what we were talking about, but I remember you said something on social media that infuriated me. I remember feeling all hot, like, oh my gosh, she doesn't know what she's talking about. And I I honestly can't remember what it was. And I do remember either. And I was I was mad, and I usually don't get mad like that about social media, but when I stopped and thought about it, I was mad because you were right, and the words were convicting me. And I was realizing that my thoughts were not only not positive, but they were not of God. God gives us thoughts of of love and feelings of love and hope, hopefulness, and good things. And I was thinking very negatively. And so it started to get me thinking, and I did, I'm, I think I apologize. I hope I did. Um, because I talked.
SPEAKER_00We talked, we talked. Yeah, we talked, and I was like, oh my gosh, I didn't mean it like that. And you were like, no, and we went back and forth. And then I think it was like a day later you called me and you're like, you know what? I totally just I don't know why. Like, I just have an epiphany now that I get what you said. And I was like, oh, okay, cool, right? And so, but you know what I love about this story? I'm gonna tell you what I love about this story is that please we would not be here today if that, I think if that had not happened. And so I agree. Yeah, again, because what what this conversation did for Danielle and I is it opened up the almost like it really opened a can of worms for us to start asking each other, like, well, why did you phrase it that way? Why, what are you talking about? Like, maybe I'm not, I don't have an open mind like I should. And then I was asking you, well, why do you think this way? And so it really did open up a lot of conversations for us. And we now are here talking about a lot of those conversations that we've had. So I really do think that God totally took that experience and turned it into something so amazing. And we're gonna talk more about that happening later. But yes, this is a prime example of what we're kind of gonna be talking about.
SPEAKER_01And I think it's very important to understand this is not something that you just do and then it's done. It's ongoing. There, it's it's it's almost like a muscle that you have to practice because I mean, I'll have a couple good days and then all of a sudden something will set me off. And it's like it's a snowball, and then things get worse, and then I stub my toe, and then someone cuts me off in traffic, and then I start telling people around me how horrible my day is going, it doesn't get any better. And I would just ask people if you're feeling like, uh, this is woo-woo or this is whatever, um, ask yourself why you think that. Because I used to think that to be spiritual and to manifest and to just be more at one with nature, I needed to be in a yurt somewhere doing yoga, crisscross applesauce. Like it needed to be that extreme. And now I'm realizing that's not what it is at all. And it's not just crossing your fingers and hoping, it is thinking about what the higher good is, thinking about where we want our lives to go, and then starting to train our minds to see that's gonna happen and what am I doing today that's gonna get me there, you know, down the line. So it's it's it's a practice, it's almost a moment-to-moment practice. And it's not that I don't have negative thoughts, it's not that I don't have bad days now. I do, but what I'm learning is the rubber band, the recoil where I go from um feeling negative to, oh no, I'm not gonna worry about this. It's not worth my time. Because when you really think about this, and I did have an epiphany yesterday or the day before, right now, the one thing we cannot create more of is time. And what we choose to give our most important currency our time and our attention to, that's phenomenal. Because think about it. Think about how much time we spend scrolling on social media or binge watching our favorite show or whatever the case is. We have time. It's just we have to choose are we using it in a way that's gonna better our life, move us closer to the the dreams that we have? And if not, I need to make some changes right now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And even thinking about time as am I sitting here dwelling on something that I'm using my time to dwell on something that happened that I have zero control over. Why are we wasting our time doing that? It's just not, it's just, it doesn't make really any sense. And this is part of manifestation. The faster that you move on from those thoughts and those ideas, the more, the faster you move to a newer manifestation, a newer creation, which we're gonna get into in a little bit of your life. So doing this podcast, uh, yeah, doing this podcast, uh, Danielle and I, you know, we talk back and forth. I mean, we don't, we, we do, you know, we write some things out, we kind of know what direction it's gonna go. But I really want to talk really quickly about the brief history that we found out. Danielle is really good at doing her research and finding this stuff out. And I'm excited to hear about it. I I have we have a few notes on it, but I'm really excited to hear what you think about it or what you have found about it. So tell us some brief history about this. Where does manifestation come from, the word, the root of it, all that stuff.
SPEAKER_01Got it. And I mean, we could go off on a tangent for hours about the history, so I'm gonna keep it nice and concise. But the the fact is, manifestation actually does have ancient roots. You can find concepts found in Egyptian culture, Greek culture, uh Hinduism, which I found out is one of the world's oldest religions. It's over 4,000 years old. So I thought that was kind of cool. But the basic idea is that imagination and willpower are what is going to help you achieve those personal goals. And I think for me, that was a aha, because I always thought it was up here. And that's part of it. But you also have to actually act towards uh what you're what you're wanting to do. Um, there's also the concept of hermetic philosophy, the principle, I think you might have even mentioned it earlier, as above, so below. Um, in Hermetic writings, they suggest that our reality is influenced by our minds, which I would agree with that. And I think manifestations found in a lot of world religions. Christianity, absolutely. A lot of prayers aim to uh manifesting our desires or getting us out of a bad situation. Um, Hinduism and Buddhism both utilize meditation techniques, um, spiritual, again, spiritual and material goals. So there's definitely um a history behind it. And then if we fast forward to you know the last couple centuries, there was a new thought movement that came out of the 1830s, a guy named Phineas Quimby. I thought that was such a fun name. Um, yeah. And then you have authors like Wallace Waddles, um, who wrote a book called The Science of Getting Rich. And then one that I'm reading right now, it was written over a hundred years ago, but you read it and you're like, how did she know? Um, it's a book called The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovill Shin. And it all of these writings bring up the importance of mindfulness, which I know is a big buzzword these days, and the intent of thoughts into mainstream. And so even though a lot of the history can go back 4,000 years, you can go back 2,000 years, but I think we're seeing a resurgence of that right now. Um, people are not happy with the world and they are looking and seeking for something that in their minds is gonna make it better. So I think 21st century, we're we're it's almost like we're going back to those roots thousands of years ago and saying, okay, they had something to us. This isn't just a bunch of things put into a book. This is a suggestion for how to live a life of abundance. And once you start seeing the power that's in that, the power that that divine, again, creator, God, whatever you want to uh refer to, there is power there. And if we're made in that image, I think that that gives us the ability to create also. And that's pretty exciting when you think about it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. No, it's very powerful. And it's it's it's very exciting to think that we can co-create with something so infinite, so so powerful, so you know, deep that we actually have that ability to do that. And I don't think that we all really understand how much power we do have when we start to co-create with infiniteness with God. Like it is the most amazing thing ever. And uh something that my mentor says that's really interesting is that he said, you know, we believe that in 30 years, maybe even sooner, the next generation will look back and they will say, What was the problem with the people back in the day, right? What was the biggest problem? And the one thing that we believe they're gonna say is they didn't know how to think. They were never taught how to think. And that is part of what manifestation is about is how do you think? What are your thoughts? And I hope that today we'll encourage you to start taking more responsibility for your thoughts and really understanding the power that you do have in all of this.
SPEAKER_01Right. And and along those same lines, I think this all the time. You can be a victor or you can be a victim. And when I find myself falling into victim mentality, like, how dare that person say this? Do they know the day I've had? And then I think about that, no, they don't know the day I've had. So we are assuming that people are are acting, knowing everything that's going on in our lives and in our brains, and they don't. And so assuming best intentions and really giving others the same grace that I think we'd like people to give us, that that's powerful in its in itself. But um, it's exciting. Once once you start digging into all this, a day is not just a day, it's an opportunity, moment to moment to start reaching out for your dreams. I started doing this what, a year ago, not even a year ago. Yeah, I'd say that when I wrote out my story, one of the things I wanted to do was to co-host a podcast. So yeah, I mean, I'm I'm excited for the rest of that story to to um prevail and hopefully it will, but oh my gosh, like it's happening because I changed the way I thought about things. And instead of thinking that's a pipe dream, that'll never happen. No, it's gonna happen. What do I need to do to get there?
SPEAKER_00Yes, exactly. Exactly. So let's start with this. Uh, when people hear manifest, normally we think that it's self-powerful, right? It's only the self that creates this. But what is actually happening here is if you start seeing yourself the way God already sees you, and when you believe that, your life starts to reflect it. So instead of trying to force things to happen, you focus on who you are at your core. And when your thoughts, your beliefs, and your actions all match up to what the truth really is of who you are, your reality begins to naturally just shift. And we've both experienced this in what in what we're doing. And I think maybe the first question that listen, as a coach, I do talk a lot about this. Um, we can, I have, you know, we can talk about calling it manifestation. I really do like calling it co-creating at this point. I it really is because we are creators, like that's who we are. We're humans and we create. We are human beings, right? We are to be, not to do. And so sometimes we I get a lot of questions about this because people are very interested in it, right? They want to be like, Brooke, what does it mean to co-create? What does it mean to manifest? What does that mean? And so one question that I usually get is why do people think manifestation is so woo-woo? And normally it is because that it is presented on a lot of social media platforms that the structure is that it is the responsibility only of the person. And manifestation is not about just sitting back and hoping, oh, yeah, it's just gonna come to me. I don't have to do anything. It's actually more about disciplining your thoughts because what you are repeatedly impressing upon your subconscious mind directs your actions, your perception, and ultimately your outcomes. Now, we could do a whole episode on the subconscious mind, and we probably will at some point. If you want to learn more about the subconscious mind, you can read go into Amazon and just put books on. Subconscious mind, and you can get a lot of information in that. Um, but the subconscious mind really dictates a lot of what happens inside outside of your reality once it's connected to infinite intelligence, which some may refer to this as God. Um, it's this is very practical, it's not really that mystical. Uh, one of the strongest verses that I could find in the Bible about this, exactly what we're talking about, was Romans 12, 2. And it says, be transformed by the renewing of your mind. It's right there. This is reminding us that your life changes when your thinking changes, when there is intention and responsibility of your own thoughts, you start to live a life in what some would say in your mind, hell on earth or heaven on earth. We have to start understanding that a lot of what we're talking right now is in the mind, and we have the ability to switch over at any time. It is our paradigm that right? It really is. Once you start realizing this, it you can switch it in a heartbeat. Another one that I want to bring up too is 2 Corinthians 10 5. It says, take every thought captive, which speaks directly to the discipline over your thoughts and not letting them run unchecked. Um, Danielle, do you have something on this that I think you wanted to share about this sort of topic just right here?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think I uh and again, I know I mentioned it earlier, but I was one of those people who thought this was woo-woo. And I think and then, but this is the stage I'm in. Why did I think that? Who who told me that was woo-woo? Or what movie or TV show did I watch where someone talked about, you know, positive thinking and they were shunned or they were made fun of? So somewhere in my social heredity, I believed that manifestation was bad, what that it was woo-woo, that it was not biblical, that it was not in line with Christ's teachings. And when I start digging into the Bible, we could find, we could come up with dozens of verses that say, no, you're wrong. Um, I know there's uh some verses in Matthew, and I'm paraphrasing, I'm not um saying directly, but seek and you will find, ask and you will be given. It's right there. And I feel like we have been trained in this 20, again, 21st century, to think, oh, that book is thousands of years old. It's not relevant today. Yeah, heck yeah, it is. And there's a reason why when we take ourselves out of our self-induced pity party, and I say that with love because I am the worst of that, where I would sit there and go, oh, this sucks, this sucks, you know, pardon, you know, oh, my life sucks, this is going bad. I'm doing it right now. I'm putting that out there. And I say, Don't do it. Say it. Don't say it. I know, but I want to I want to give an example because I know people think that. Even if they don't say it, they have those negative thoughts. And I there's a lot of science, neuroscience, into visualization. Some of our greatest athletes, Kobe Bryant, uh Rest in Peace, he was very well known to visualize because he would say, I remember watching an interview with him, he would say that our our mind doesn't know the difference between reality and very vivid visualization. And so in our mind, if we're visualizing where we want to be, what we want to look like, what our we want our days to to look like, that's something. It's it's it's taking action and then moving towards that. And the reverse is true. So um, yeah, there's there's a lot of of signs and and not warnings, but suggestions right in front of us. And for some reason, we've chosen to ignore them or discredit them. And so yeah, I think examining that will will help people think, wow, why do I think that? Why do I think this person or this leader is this or this actor is this? It's because somewhere along the line we were told that and we just accepted it as fact.
SPEAKER_00And again, if you have not heard episode one, two, three, and four, that is on social heredity. And this is part of that. So, all right, let's dive into the next question. People ask me, can you manifest anything you want? Well, how I usually answer that is you don't get what you want, you get what you actually believe about yourself. So if you want something, but deep down you don't think you're gonna get it, then your actions and your choices will follow that belief with you every single time. So it's not about trying harder or pushing, it's about getting your thoughts and beliefs to match what you're asking for. And I'm so happy you brought up Math 7, said Matthew 7, 7, because we're gonna talk about it. And I'm gonna break it down real, real quick for you so that it actually makes a little bit more sense because I loved, I have loved this verse since I was very 12 years old, since I started actually getting into spirituality, what that was, and and going to different places and experiencing what that was, and part of that was going to church and going to different places and finding these things out. And I've always loved that verse because it just it was like, what does that mean? Right. And so if we say ask and it shall be given, I want to ask you a question. If you don't believe that, if you go to God and you ask him for something and you don't believe you can have it, then to me, that's really a wasted prayer if you ask me. Because we don't go to God to beg. Why are we begging? He's infiniteness. You are asking the most powerful thing on this planet, in this universe, for help. And why would God not help you? He loves you, he wants to help you, and he tells you in the verse, you shall have it. The problem here is not God, the problem is us. If we don't believe that we can have what we feel that we can be, not want, but can be, why shouldn't we have it? And we have to remember that all of this is internal. God is within, right? And so we have to say, okay, if I'm gonna go to uh if I'm gonna go to God and I'm gonna ask for something, go, don't go begging for it. Be strong in what you're asking for and know that, yeah, okay, I'm asking for something. And if I have to become somebody to get that, I'm probably gonna have to go through some trials, which right Danielle and I know about. Because when you ask for patience, let me be more patient, God. What's gonna happen? I mean, you're gonna get every single ding person that's annoying, right? Right. That's gonna come up on you because you're annoyed. Because I mean, you're annoyed by it. So what is what's happening is is you're asking for patience, and God is saying, okay, let me teach you patience. I'm gonna give you the most annoying person, all these people, and I'm gonna see how you're going to respond to all of these people. And some people will say, Brooke, I'm being attacked. And it's like, no, you're not being attacked, you're being taught. God is teaching you, God is giving you an opportunity to become what you want or who you want to be. So, okay, let's move.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I was just gonna say real quick on that note. I I growing up, especially as a child, I I was a people pleaser. And I say that past tense because I am in a totally different place now. But my whole life, I was begging and praying and hoping for thicker skin. And it's not like, you know, and what I started realizing is God, you know, I'm not Cinderella and God is not my fairy godmother. This isn't wave a wand and boom, things happen. So I've been praying for thicker skin. Well, over the last five years, I've gotten it. Whether it's because I've been attacked, uh arguing with people on social media, being called every name in the book when I talk politics, which is just kind of inevitable. And now I think, why did I care so much about what other people thought of me? I need to be more concerned about what source God thinks of me and what I think of myself. And so, like you said, you get those opportunities to grow. And the other thing I just wanted to add before we move on is ask yourself if all your dreams came true, are you ready for it? Because when you think about financial windfalls or um uh, you know, just more money in general, do you have a budget for it? Do you know where it's going? Or is it reactive? And this is something I'm personally, you know, going through redoing my budget as I, you know, evolve as an adult. Yeah. And thinking, what do I need to do to get ready so that when my life, as I hope it will be very soon, comes, I'm actually ready for it and I don't make bad decisions because I didn't do that preparation. So I would just, and and last thing about the attacks, and just that I I almost get excited now because when that happens, I know that I'm uncomfortable with how my life is going and something's changing, and that is really exciting.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes, and I okay, so this is gonna lead into that and then seek, right? Do you believe that it will show up? Well, I hope if you're asking God for something, then you think it will because it just said ask and you still will be given to you. So if if you don't think it's gonna show up, then forget it. You won't see it. But we have to continue to seek it, we have to watch for it to appear in our realities. So we have to pay attention to what's happening in our life. Like you said, I I feel Brooke like something's attacking me. Well, yeah, because God is trying to put you in a very uncomfortable spot so that you can become the person that He is prepping you for. Whatever it is that you feel you're called to do, that's gonna take a completely different person than you are today. So watch, watch what's moving in your reality, who is coming into your life, what different things are are starting to happen, right? And if we go into the knocking part, this is the take action. When God gives you what you've asked for, first of all, give a lot of gratitude and gratitude, yeah, gratitude. Give thanks to the present that he has given you. And odds are, like we talked about, it's not gonna be a piece of cake. Okay. If you ask for patience, you're gonna get a lot of people that are going to annoy the heck out of you. This is just what's happening. All God is trying to do is grow you. That's it. Because He wants you to become someone that can handle what you have actually asked for. And he is what He's doing is he's moving you into alignment with where you need to be. Because what's happening is if we're just out of alignment just a little bit, he's gotta course correct us. And in order to course correct us, he's gotta bring majority of the time, it's a challenge. Something is happening, and something that that my mentor, Satish Verma, tells me all the time, he says, Brooke, how are you responding to what's happening to you? How are you you guys really listen to what I'm telling you right now because this can change your life? How are you responding to what is happening in your life? That is the question you should be asking yourself on repeat. When something happens, when someone cuts you off in traffic, are you blowing up? Do you think you've never cut somebody off on traffic in traffic? Come on, we've all cut somebody off in traffic, probably. And if we say we haven't, we probably didn't remember or know that we did, right? I've cut people, I think I cut somebody off in traffic the other day. I literally did not see them, and I was literally like, I'm sorry, like, I'm sorry, my bad. You know, not that the not that the person couldn't hear me, but I took acknowledgement that, hey man, I I I did, I cut you off. I didn't see you. We all make those mistakes. We that we all do it. So let's just give everybody some grace and understand that how we how we respond to the situation is going to then manifest the next thing.
SPEAKER_01So totally agree. And yeah, one thing I wanted to say about that, that probably one of the best pieces of advice I ever got from my friend Beth in college, hat tip to Beth. I remember her telling me, you cannot control what people do, you can't control what people say. The only thing you can control is how you react to it. And that has quite possibly been one of the things that has helped me a lot with this journey because I can't control what other people do. I can't control what they say to me, but I do have control over how I react. And if my reaction is of outrage or fear or something negative, that is the rubber band. Okay, reset. Do I really need to be upset about this? Is this worth my time and energy? Is it worth me ignoring the goals and the dreams that I'm working towards? And if the answer is no, forget it, let it go. You know, short, short memory, boom, move on to the next thing. Because I used to dwell and now I realize that's a huge waste of time.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it really is because we're just sitting in that and sitting in that, and we can't move to the next step. We can't create and eat, we can't co-create because we're just stuck in this, you know, how did this happen? Why is this happening to me instead of what is this teaching me? And that's another thing you should be asking yourself constantly. What is this teaching me? What is this teaching me? How am I responding? So yeah, I I I really do love that. I I love that so much. And something else that a lot of people ask me is what role does faith play in manifestation? And I want to be very clear about this: that faith and religion are two different things. So when we say the word faith, I'm not talking about religion, I just want to make that a little bit clearer before we continue. Faith is the foundation of co-creating with God. It's not blind hope, but it's certainty. And that's what I mean when I said don't go begging, go with certainty that I, God, I want this and I want to become the person that can handle this, and I need your help. Because when you believe something is already yours on a deep, deep level, your behavior will change like that. You start to move differently, you start to make different decisions from that place. That is what brings the unseen into the scene. So when we talk about faith, faith is the absolute foundation of all of this. Without it, it is nothing.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_00Nothing.
unknownRight.
