Welcome And Big Milestones

SPEAKER_01

Hi, everyone. Welcome to another Dan Show. Hi, Dan.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, Kyle. How are you?

SPEAKER_01

I'm great. It's a beautiful day.

SPEAKER_00

I want you to savor this episode.

SPEAKER_01

I am going to savor it. Okay. Okay, good. Very important one. Okay. Including a big announcement that our team hit a big milestone and it's really exciting.

SPEAKER_00

There's so many.

SPEAKER_01

There are so many.

Why We Built ArriveOS

SPEAKER_01

We have a new uh system for our arrive points, and it has a specific.

SPEAKER_00

Arrive OS. You've heard of iOS, right? Apple, uh ArriveOS, the Arrive operating system.

SPEAKER_01

Our team built from scratch our own operating system that we're deploying in our current units, the AP3, that is going to make them uh it prevents any obsolescence. So it just continually updates and we can do it in-house. It's quite amazing.

SPEAKER_00

We went back to scratch. We we I don't want to say we threw out what we had. We had we had uh uh outsourced all of our development and now we have this great team. So we we started working and iterating off of the existing platform, and we said, you know what, let's let's let's go back and do it over. Let's let's make it drive OS, our own operating system from cradle to cradle.

SPEAKER_01

It's pretty amazing. So they it's um so they stripped an NVIDIA box and put our own operating system on it. So we're still using NVIDIA's technology, but we're running our own operating system over it.

SPEAKER_00

It's all proprietary. We control it all. Yep. We don't have to worry about anybody else's proprietary code, getting in, getting permissions, all that. We own it all, and it's really important as we grow in scale to control all that, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it gives us full transparency too. I mean, we can open up the dashboard to this operating system and see um when a door closed, when a door opened, the whole alert system throughout the chain of custody. I mean, we're following all of this in real time.

SPEAKER_00

It's yes, we are. It's really neat. It's exciting.

SPEAKER_01

Uh so that was a big uh a big

Hancock Expansion As Real Validation

SPEAKER_01

milestone.

SPEAKER_00

Well, it might even be as big, bigger, not as big. It's it's everything. Hancock, we talk about Hancock all the time, right? Yep. We love Hancock. But I think what is the the number one validation of what we're doing? What would you say that would be?

SPEAKER_01

If people keep it and then expand on it.

SPEAKER_00

It's almost like you knew. That's right. That I would say expansion is the best validation. It's better than even any revenue right now. The fact that not only are they keeping it, we're expanding. So that that's a great sign. That's that's one of the metrics that we're tracking. You know, how do we become sticky? How do we become so you can't be without us and grow and all that? So Hancock last week or or recently we announced I'm keeping it evergreen. We we announced that uh um they're adding another round on. So that's exciting. So we really want to blow that thing up.

SPEAKER_01

And the cool thing about this expansion is it's connecting two different buildings on the campus.

SPEAKER_00

First time we've gone outside.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. And so this arrive point, while we're still deciding on its location, is going to connect two buildings, and a robot will go between the arrive point that will be at Parkway, um, outpatient center, and then that's going to connect routes into the inside of the Hancock Health Building, where we have the cancer center and those units that we've been using that runs samples to the lab. What's cool about this with the outpatient center, one of the issues that the lab experiences are these giant bottlenecks because they batch deliver these biospecimens. And so, because again, a human is having to go from one building to the next, and it's usually a high value employee who's doing that. This way, instead of them waiting for say 10 blood samples from 10 patients who have come in.

SPEAKER_00

And are waiting.

SPEAKER_01

And are well, they can leave, but they're waiting for the results, right? They're waiting to see what the issue is.

SPEAKER_00

They don't always get to leave either.

SPEAKER_01

And they don't always get to leave. Right. Um, so this just speeds up the process. So as soon as one blood work is done, the robot can immediately take it and take it to the lab center. So this solves multiple problems. One is that the patient can get their results back quicker, and there's not a bottleneck at the lab because they're just working, you know, little by little all day instead of I always

Autonomy Unlocked With Arrive Points

SPEAKER_01

say autonomy unlocked.

SPEAKER_00

That's that's arrived. That's what we provide. That's the missing piece of this whole ecosystem. Um, you know, if you have a robot delivering to you, two things have to happen, right, Kylie?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, a person has to be there.

SPEAKER_00

You have to be there and the robot has to be there.

SPEAKER_01

And the robot has to be there.

SPEAKER_00

So if if you don't have if you have an arrive point, autonomy unlocked, everything can go right to the arrive point. You picked up at its own cadence. And this is the real value proposition. It's like the Tesla supercharger network. Everybody started out doing their own end-to-end, and everybody realized, you know, we're duplicating all the scalability, and we're gonna have all these different chargers for, you know, in front of a building or a home, you're not gonna have three arrive points, right? It's gonna be one. And that's why arrive OS is so important. We have our own operating system that we're sharing with all the partners and we're unlocking autonomy. It's see how it's all coming together? It is, right?

SPEAKER_01

It really is. So one robot can collect from one arrive point and go to arrive point two and then deliver there, and then pick up something from arrive point three, deliver it back to two or to one. It's just constantly routing. I loved your analogy of it's like the Uber or Lyft, how they have this predictive analysis of what's going to happen. And they're like, oh, this person's waiting for a right here. We're gonna get this closest car to this person to pick them up. It's the same thing as what our network will be doing.

SPEAKER_00

They're gonna know the next run while they're still making the one they're doing right now. And we can change all that. It's all dynamic, which is huge, right?

Help Us Grow The Show

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So um, hey, remember the dance show is syndicated, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, on Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and Spotify. Those are the main three, but otherwise YouTube.

SPEAKER_00

Like, subscribe, and share, right? We want to build up the uh subscriber so we stay out there so we can keep bringing in uh great updates to everybody um and to new people that that aren't aware of arrive. Um so yeah. What else? What else, Kylie? You got anything else to do?

SPEAKER_01

I will say I would love for you to share it too. And this is something that we could really use everyone's help on is when you see an update, when you see a milestone, when you see that we've published a new podcast, share it with your network because right now we're really trying to prove our value through milestones while we are basically pre-revenue. Hancock's expanding, that's exciting. And we're gonna get into the sales and do all of that. But right now, we can really rely on just um help you helping us.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, help us get everybody out. Look, this this is an emerging story. This isn't about a million uh units out tomorrow. This is the foundational thing we're building that is gonna be a very sticky network that everybody wants to work with for delivery and pickup. It's gonna change the world. It's gonna be part of the fabric of uh last mile logistics. So just recognize that we're doing all that. We're leveraging AI and autonomy, the two hottest spots out there right now. The next thing we need to do is go to space because SpaceX comes is coming out, right?

SPEAKER_01

Are you gonna invest? Are you gonna buy some stock?

SPEAKER_00

I'm thinking of Rod, I'm gonna I am gonna do some investing there, uh, especially once we get Elon on the team here. Right.

SPEAKER_01

So uh I think he's got his hands full with his IPO right now.

SPEAKER_00

He's a he's a multitasker. I love the guy. Hey, arrive points on the on Mars, right? Uh colonize Mar Mars, right? That's uh that's Elon's mission.

SPEAKER_01

AI and space, that's how it's gonna happen, right? A I C I see what she did there.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's it.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I also noticed in Monday's meeting that there were several new faces.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I was just gonna bring that up. Great, great. You know, we just crossed the 50 employee mark. We're over 50 now. Isn't that crazy?

SPEAKER_01

I mean, that's been within we went from what eight to 50 in eight months.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, probably maybe six months.

SPEAKER_01

Six to eight months?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, something like it's getting longer every day.

SPEAKER_01

It's incredible.

SPEAKER_00

That is incredible. So what I don't want to see is anybody leave because I want to keep building that number.

SPEAKER_01

I don't want to see anyone leave

50 Employees And Kylie’s Goodbye

SPEAKER_01

either.

SPEAKER_00

This girl's leaving, guys. I hate to I hate to see you leave.

SPEAKER_01

I'm I'm pretty sad. It's a hard one.

SPEAKER_00

She's sad, but she made the choice. Those don't reconcile.

SPEAKER_01

I well, I I'd I own explanation. Um yeah. So right now, Arrive is in this just it's so exciting. It's so exciting to be here. There's nothing else like it. And um, the reason I'm leaving is because I have children who are really in their prime of needing me around. And this other opportunity I have is really close to my house. There's no commute, it's hybrid, I can work from home. Um and Dan, really, you you were so kind and doing what you can do um to help. But right now, everybody, we are this 50 employees, like everybody does need to be here. And it's fun and it's electric to be in the middle.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we need the synergy. I and you know, for I love Kylie. I don't want her to leave, she knows that. Um, but it's not fair to try to make a different, you know, provision. And I and I apologize.

SPEAKER_01

You know, and it you don't, and I've told him you don't need to apologize. I get it, and I understand that that's where we are as companies.

SPEAKER_00

I wish you would stay. I hope, you know, wish you well though, because self is, you know, selflessly, you know, I I left somebody else to start my business. So you can't be a hypocrite, right? I want everybody to be to be the best that they can be. Um, and I think that's here for you. So no. But I want you to go out and find out uh what it's like and we'll see what the future holds. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, it is I I I don't think I'm gone forever.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

We'll see.

SPEAKER_00

We'll see. We'll see.

SPEAKER_01

And I I'm gonna be, he's you're gonna be calling me and texting me, and we're gonna be Let's see if you still take those calls.

SPEAKER_00

Let's see. Let's see. I hope you do, and I'm not gonna try to boil you up.

SPEAKER_01

Uh but truly, this has been the experience of a lifetime. Like watching you, the things I've learned of how to build a business. There's so much that goes into this that unless you have done it, you will never understand. You just won't.

SPEAKER_00

There's no way to understand even though you did go through it.

SPEAKER_01

You I mean, you've thrown yourself into the fire, you know, feet first.

SPEAKER_00

And you gotta do it all. You gotta you gotta own every bit of it, right?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm. Um and what you have done is incredible.

SPEAKER_00

It's what we have done. Couldn't have done this without most of the people. No, I'm just kidding. We couldn't have done it without everybody. That's a team. It really isn't. There's nobody that could have accomplished this on their own.

SPEAKER_01

So uh, you know, um but like I told everyone, I say I'm gonna have FOMO so bad because I know you guys are not gonna stop. The world keeps going, whether I'm here or not, and it's gonna be amazing.

SPEAKER_00

Well, we'll see. We'll see. Um hey, a couple other things. Um

Standstill Agreement And ATM Filing

SPEAKER_00

let's see, we announced a standstill agreement with Streeterville, uh, which means we're not um tapping them for capital right now, um, and that's at least through the end of the year. Um so that's great because we saw that as the headwind on our stock price. Uh, and and candidly we discussed that with them. So I'm not saying anything out of school that's that's betraying them or anything. They they understand. So they've been great partners. I really appreciate them entering into that agreement with us. We wanted our stock to be able to breathe, and we're looking for you know some uh uh unharnessing of our share price, and hopefully they can uh appreciate. Um what else? We we just announced we're gonna do an ATM, which is uh at the market. It's called an S3. Uh it's a registration statement where the company can make its own shares available after being public for a year. So um, and it the pr the advantage of that is the cost of capital is substantially lower. So, you know, as you guys all know, we're a pre-revenue uh low revenue company that's really uh building a big platform out here. We do rely on capital. Uh work hiring like there's no tomorrow. So if you're looking at you know anecdotal evidence of what this the company is doing and how it's how it's um moving forward, I think you can see the great people we've hired the facility, all the tooling and things that we all the IP we continue to gain. Um there's no symptoms here uh of of anything that's negative. So I just want to put that out there. You know, um I think it's the best value it's ever been. That's my own personal view. I bought stock much higher than it is right now, and uh continue to believe it's the best opportunity out there, even though Kylie's leaving. Um that's no indication on where you think this company's going, right?

SPEAKER_01

Not at all. Are you kidding?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I just want to clarify that.

SPEAKER_01

So so anyway, um, but it's much easier to leave if that was the reason. You know, that's that is very fair.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Well, good. I'm glad I'm glad to hear that. So any other thing? I I mean I've had a whole list of stuff, but do you want to talk about the supplier?

Switching Manufacturers To Ship Faster

SPEAKER_01

Like I know that that is um we've talked about it a little bit before, but it's it's now shifting to a different manufacturer.

SPEAKER_00

That's great. Thanks for doing that. And you know, consistent with bringing a arrive OS in-house and doing all of our own stuff. Yeah, we're we're also trying to streamline, yeah. One of the things that's been a constraint, frankly, is our ability to get units. Yep. And that's frustrating. Uh, you can't sell from an empty wagon, right? So, you know, um one of the while I say this all the time, um, every unit that we put out initially is obsolete, going out the door. The reason is because we're still finding all kinds of new learnings, interaction and ergonomics and things like that. Uh, we're making it better every single day, so we don't want to get ahead of ourselves in that regard by having tons of units at a high price that are worthless. So um so we're redeploying those and and learning and so forth. But in consistent, consistent with that, we have our new ArriveOS system. We brought that in-house. We're also streamlining our manufacturing. Uh we recently um left Bell, Barada Electronics Limited in India, and we moved to uh one of their vendors that was ultimately involved with uh a big part of what we're doing as far as building our units. So it's gonna reduce costs. Uh development changes are more linear and time efficient. Faster games. We have faster unit production of units. We've we've just thrown out a big bureaucratic uh layer in the ecosystem of ordering. So that's that's huge. So I think that's a big positive. We have great relationship with Bell, uh, and we will never forget what they did. They stepped up their $10 billion company and they really made us one of their pet projects, which I appreciate. Shout out to Bell. So um, and then that reminds me about

NYSE Closing Bell Plans

SPEAKER_00

our bell ringing. Uh with no I didn't even stop.

SPEAKER_01

You're learning. It was a good segue.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna have to learn, right? So this is gonna be the dance show from now. So uh anyway, the bell ringing, what's the deal on that?

SPEAKER_01

The RSVPs are closed. We have about 200 people who are going, so that's really exciting. Um, it'll be the 4 p.m. closing bell on July 13th.

SPEAKER_00

So that's a Monday.

SPEAKER_01

That is a Monday, and it'll be very similar for those who attended the opening bell. It's a similar kind of pre-production bell ringing picture in Times Square. It's a lot nice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so come out. You know, I'm gonna be out there early for the weekend. For the weekend. Yeah, it's a great opportunity to see New York do some cool stuff and then cap it off with the bell ringing. So uh hope hopefully we're gonna see you guys out there. Um, I'm excited about it. Getting a lot of calls every day. Good. So thanks for uh RSVP and joining us, right?

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Uh is there anything else we can cover?

SPEAKER_01

I think those are some pretty big topics.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we don't want it to be too long. So yeah. Uh we'll we'll have to have something for the new person to uh to to talk about.

AI Session And Wrap Up

SPEAKER_01

Dan and I went to a cool um information session about AI today, and it was fun, you know?

SPEAKER_00

It was uh it was amazing.

SPEAKER_01

At the at the um Speedway Museum, the new and an improved one. It's pretty neat.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was there was some cool pace cars there. Uh that that was uh that was that was in the thing that was best about it was no offense if if you put that on how quickly it got over with.

SPEAKER_01

It was efficient.

SPEAKER_00

It was good. It was good. Usually these things drag on and get longer than you're supposed to. This was done like two hours or earlier than it was supposed to be, which was huge. So I was excited about that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. No, I think this is I think it's good, Dan.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Anything else you want to add?

SPEAKER_00

No. Hey, thanks for watching. Thanks for being on our team, co editors with Kylie and me and the rest of us. So um appreciate it. You're gonna miss this girl, and uh, we'll see you guys soon.

SPEAKER_01

Bye. Bye bye.
