River Of Prayer
River of Prayer with Chaplain Cox
You are loved — by the only One whose love has never had an ulterior motive.
River of Prayer is a Christian prayer podcast for the moments when life is too heavy to carry alone. Whether you need a prayer for anxiety, a prayer for strength, a prayer for financial stress, or simply someone to pray with you today — this is that place.
Each episode, ordained Chaplain and Deacon Minister Anthony Cox opens the Word of God, speaks directly to where you are, and takes it all to the Lord in prayer. No performance. No fluff. Just a servant, a scripture, and the presence of God meeting you right where you are.
If you have ever felt like heaven has gone quiet — like you don't know what to say to God or whether He is even listening — River of Prayer was built for you.

River Of Prayer
A Good Friday Prayer for Everything That Has Felt Unfinished for Too Long

You are loved — with a love that went to a cross and still couldn't be stopped.
Good Friday 2026 — April 3. The day Jesus looked at the cross, at the debt, at the separation, at every broken thing — and declared two words that changed everything forever: It is finished.
But is there something in your life that still feels unfinished? Healing that has not come. Restoration that has not happened. A burden you are still carrying — still striving for — as if the price has not already been paid?
This Good Friday prayer is for you.
John 19:30 — It is finished. And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
In this Good Friday prayer, Chaplain Cox stands on those two words and asks the Lord to let the finished work of the cross speak into everything that feels unresolved — every wound still waiting, every debt still being paid, every chain that should have been broken already. You do not have to keep paying for what Jesus already paid for. It is done.
Whether you need a Good Friday prayer, a prayer for healing that hasn't come, a prayer to stop striving, a prayer for the cross, or simply someone to stand with you on the most solemn day of the Christian year — River of Prayer is here.

Thank you for allowing your servant Anthony to pray for you today. God bless you.
This is Chaplain Cox from River of Prayer. And you are loved with a love that went to the cross and still couldn't be stopped. So let's take this to the Lord in prayer. Father in heaven, your word tells us it is finished. And he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. So, Lord, we stand on those three words today. It is finished. The debt finished. The separation finished. The power of sin over our lives finished. All of it settled at the cross. Father, there are things in our lives that have felt unfinished for far too long. Healing that has not come. Deliverance that we still long for. And we are weary of waiting. Let the finished work of the cross speak into what feels unresolved. What Jesus declared finished, let it be finished in our hearts today. Deliver us from striving for what you have already paid for. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. And I just want to encourage you that it is finished means you do not have to keep paying for what Jesus already died for. It is finished. This is your servant Anthony. And I want to thank you so much for allowing me to pray with you today. God, I really do appreciate it. And may God bless you. Bye bye.
