Well, I was just we were just gonna do what we did last time and you know, kind of see how our weeks went and exciting news, bad news, good, ugly, whatever. Yeah. So Ivy, how'd your week go? Um, it went, you know, really shitty. Um, you know, I just have a lot going on right now at work and stuff like that. So it's just it's been pretty heavy. Um, and then me and the boyfriend got into a little TIFF on on Sunday, so that kind of like didn't start the week out the best, but we've worked it out. Um, I mean into detail about that, it's just um Saturday night we went to the movies, um, we saw the bride. And let me tell you, if you like that kind of stuff, you've gotta see it. It was so, so good. It was so good. Um, I wouldn't mind going and seeing it again. Really? And again, you have to go see this. I love it. I but I like weird stuff. Yeah, yeah. I love the weird and anyways. So if you like the weird and the unknown, if you like Frankenstein and and all that stuff, you definitely need to go see it, especially with it being um women's uh what I don't oh my gosh, what is it? Is it women's month? National Women's Month.

Yeah, we are but anyway, so because of that, you know, it was just kind of like the right timing when it came out, and you'll understand, like when I don't want to be like the uh the spoiler or anything like that. So once you watch it, you'll understand. Um, but anyway, so we went and watched that, and afterwards we had uh dinner, but I mean he'd just kind of be in a little um standoff-ish, which was really weird for him. Um, and so I closed down in moments like that, which I'm gonna I'm learning, well, going to learn. I'm learning in that moment.

So then um we went to bed um and it just was kind of even weird then, you know. I I don't know, just the just the whole mood the whole time it was just kind of off. Um, so I got frustrated.

Well, just like you know, they always say that m women are such big mysteries because we always, you know, hide our feel which isn't true a lot of the time. It's like I I don't know. So uh so Sunday uh I woke up and uh I just woken up and I don't know, I felt like it that was just kind of carrying on to the next morning and wasn't vocalizing like how he was feeling and and same. I wasn't either. Um, and then like I I watch our podcast apps right now like a crackhead. Well you know kind of nuts about it, right?

I'm like constantly like looking at the stats and stuff because I want to know, like, you know, how we're doing, of course.

Um, and so I I don't know, I kind of mentioned like our audience, right? We're we're uh captivating more women than men right now in the age in the age range. At that time we were sure now it's kind of it's gotten a little bit better with the brain. Yeah, broad more broad, yeah. But at that time on Sunday, it hadn't. Um, and I was like, oh, you know, this is the age range, this is the women that were you know captivating, which is cool. Oh, yeah, you know, thank you so much. Like, I'm not saying anything about that. I'm just this is this is how it started. Yeah, no, and so he had said something about basically like our first episode about like, well, if you talk about saggy tits, like that's the those are the people that you're gonna get essentially. And I was like, that's not necessarily true though, you know, and I defended our podcast because that's what I'm going to do. Um, and then he's like, Well, apparently that's not what you wanted to hear.

And I'm like, Oh, well, I argue with that because I had a guy listen, he's like, I had no idea that, you know, these are red flags, these are green flags, these are, you know, I had no idea on these dating sites that this is what I should look for and this is what I shouldn't look for. So actually, I'm thinking like in that sense, uh, nothing against your man, of course. Yeah, I'm thinking in that sense, like we've gotten the opposite telling us.

Well, yeah, and I think that he was trying to give constructive criticism, but I was again, I had just woke up. I hadn't even had a full cup of coffee yet. Um, and I just think that his constructive criticism just kind of hit me in a different way. Sure. Um, and like he now has realized like I'm a very complex, not complicated. Never call me complicated, call me complex. Um, I'm I'm complex when it comes to stuff like that. Like, there's different types of ways that you've got to say things and like deliver things to me because I'm gonna take them in a different kind of light. And so we talked about that. So, but but before that all happened, like uh he just he shut down, he stopped talking to me. The the moment was weird, you know. It was just I felt really heavy, I didn't like it. I felt like he raised his voice when he said something to me. Sure, and so again, like I'm gonna shut down in those moments.

Well, not only that, but you guys are learning each other because this is new, brand new, yeah. So you're trying to figure each other out, so there's gonna be like issues here and there, absolutely so I left. Oh, yeah.

That's what we do. I packed up myself out of there and I left. Yep, I did. I was just so I think more so like discouraged, disappointed. And again, this is like before even eight o'clock in the morning. Oh god, on a Sunday. Yeah, no, and then you know, mind you, the night before, like things just didn't go the way. He's a very touchy-feely person, and he tells me all the time like how much he adores me and stuff like that. So I love I want somebody okay. So I always like say this is how I want my relationships to be is kind of like a Morticia Adams, um oh, worshipped, yeah, and like worshiped like that, but like in a creepy way, but not in a creepy way, if that makes sense. You know what I mean? We talked about it in the second episode.

I think so. We talked about how we like attention, but not the bad attention. And when it's bad and it's creepy and it's jealousy, it's like too much, and we don't like that. Yeah, I mean, you gotta have a happy medium in there, right?

So he's normally on the good side of things, and so like when it flip-flopped dramatically, and so it was very confusing, right? And so we talked about it, we kind of we came to it, not kind of, we did come to an agreement, like we talked over it and stuff like that, and uh, you know, he did say that he didn't appreciate me leaving. I'm like, well, I'm not gonna stay in an environment that I'm uncomfortable in, pretty much.

Yeah, so but we talked about it and he knows now that he's because I because I'm a very complex person, so he has to I think you're trying to tell yourself that you're a complex person instead of complicated. So he has to ask those questions, you know, he has to ask me more things and you know dig more with me rather than just being silent because I I don't do well with that. So and same, like I can't just leave when things get rough. Yeah, you know, I mean it goes both ways there, absolutely so, but I mean going forward, you know, because I did go over there on Wednesday, um, and things were great on Wednesday, so and then I get to go over there again tonight. Excited.

So going along, I mean, I don't think it was that period, but uh anyway, so I would Up to him and I told him this the story about my daughter, and uh and he remembered it. It seemed like he remembered it, right? I felt like he did. Yeah. Uh so when I was pregnant with my daughter, uh Bessie's, this is before they did a blood test. This is I'm old, okay? Well, so I mean not that old, okay. Uh, but anyway, you don't look it, so well, good. That's all that matters, really.

So, I know, so I know. It's amazing. I'm like, maybe I shouldn't have got back on this. Maybe I maybe maybe it wasn't the right time. Get out of there! Yeah. Oh, I'll tell you that story. Oh fuck. Oh, it might be time for that story. Anyway, going on with this, they they did an ultrasound and they told me that I was having a boy, and I was just like, oh my god, I don't feel like it's a boy. And I just like I was like, really, really, okay. Uh that's odd, but yeah, sure. And my my son was just super excited about having a brother. Yeah. And I did the baby room blue. Uh I my family had like a sprinkle and they bought all baby blue baby clothes, everything. And you know, being the good mom before a baby comes, you wash them and all the take the tags off, take the tags. Yep, wash them and everything. So anyway, uh it comes to find out. So I went to went in there for my scheduled T section. And when I went in there, I he's like, So what are we having? And I'm like, I'm having a boy, which I don't believe I am. And they told me I'm having a boy, and I just don't feel it. I'm not feeling it. And he's like, he's like, he's like, well, you know, you know, a boy's okay. I of course we had this conversation before the whole thing. Yeah, yeah. So going on with the procedure, you know, pull the baby out. And I say the baby because guess what, besties, it was not a boy. Surprise, surprise! It was a girl, and I this is the best thing, one of the best things that's ever happened to me in my life because I love my daughter. Yeah. Um, and I was just like, didn't believe when he said it's a boy, and I was like, or girl, when it's a girl, I was like, no, don't mess with me. You remember the conversation prior to, you know, and I thought that's for real, like, why would a doctor mess with me like that? But I was under like am I being punked right now? I mean ash and coach her right now. For real. Because I was just like, don't mess with me. I'm I'm like, I'm emotional. And my ex-husband, he's looks at me and he's like, It is a hundred percent a girl. And and that is the only thing that I believe that they weren't messing with me. So and then after that, like uh it, I mean, it was a miracle. And I didn't even have a girl name completely picked out. Yeah, I had my my boy name was gonna be Kasen. Okay, and I was like, that was my boy name. So we didn't even have a name for at first, you know, for a little bit. Okay. I because we had talked about girls' names way early on before I love her name. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's wonderful. It it fit it suits her. It certainly does, yeah. And um, my ex, he's like, Well, you know, you can decide. I'm just gonna, you know, you you got your girl. He was super excited about it too. And then when my son came in to see the baby, he's like, Why is she why is why is a baby wearing a pink pink? Yeah. Well, let me start with that. Well, you don't have a brother, you have a sister. And my family was like, Did you know the whole time? And I'm like, no. Why would I why would I do that? Why would I even joke about that? That's weird. I mean, no, I would never joke about that. Wild. And um, I like it, I've been I'm known there for like this whole situation. That's why I asked him. That's a crazy situation. I mean, yeah, no, that's why I asked him, and I feel like he did remember that.

He really, yeah, he remembered that situation. But at first it like took him a second, but it literally took him like five seconds, and he's like, Oh, yes. Yeah. I mean, imagine like he delivers like well he thousands. I mean, I'm retired now. Yeah, no, um, but I always, I always, always, when I say always, it sounds like I have a million fucking kids out there. I have two. I have a son and a and a daughter. When I was 17 when I got pregnant with my son, and um I didn't I didn't know, but I had a dream one night, and it literally it was it was a little boy that was running down, and he ran down. My dad slept nights, he lived in the basement. Anyways, long story short, this little boy like ran down to my dad's bedroom in our house that I was living in. Obviously he was 17. I'm still living in my dad's house, and he ran down, and all of a sudden he turned into this field mouse. And I was like, What is going on? So I woke up and I'm like, I'm having a boy. Yeah, I immediately knew. You knew, yeah. We just have that feeling, yeah. Absolutely, it's growing inside, I would hope so. Yeah, no, and then with with my daughter, I had a dream. Remember Curly Sue? Oh, absolutely. I was about I was a little bit longer or uh uh further along with her when I had this dream. Um, but I dreamt about cur curly Sue. I she didn't look exactly like Curly Sue. Sure. But she came out and she had these long, luscious uh like spiral curls. Oh my gosh, how adorable. And she has curly hair. I'm gonna have to see a picture, you know, and it's just it's it's wild. Yeah, no, it is. So I mean, you definitely we've talked about this. Yeah, you know, you're again, I I can't imagine like the confusion might be the whole pregnancy.
