The Wild Wine Decanter Reveal
SPEAKER_02So uh first we want to talk about uh this amazing um wine decanter. We are drinking. I don't know if I call it. It looks amazing. I mean, who wouldn't want them that in their body? Okay. So let me describe it. Okay. It's a large, extremely large uh penis. Yes. And it's a and ginormous balls.

SPEAKER_02Yeah, we're gonna have to somehow um because it's just funny and it's a kind of it's kind of hard to pour as uh tiny salt.
SPEAKER_00Well, it all sings to the balls. Like you have to have a several at least a whole, but we didn't pour the whole bottle in there because we didn't, you know, we just didn't know. We didn't want the inconvenience of having to tip this dick all day. Oh my gosh, you have to like tip it all the way. It's a very we want to say like it's maybe a 12-footer. No, not 12 footer. 12 foot footer?

SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, I'm sure it was probably a mold of somebody wonderful.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I told the boyfriend that it was a mold of his.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. All right, love that. I mean, I've I don't think I've seen it quite that large, but the balls are ginormous. I mean, they're like a a Christmas bulb.
SPEAKER_00Well, it I guess that's how they had to make it to it to sit properly on like you know, stable on a table.
SPEAKER_02But anyways, so and not only that, but we get the we get to drink out of a dick. Yeah and absolutely our favorite wine, you know, our favorites wine, besties, and then we also get to drink out of uh wine glasses that are balls, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Even though they look more like butt cheeks.
SPEAKER_02They look like butt cheeks to me because that's I mean, but look, I can cup it like that.
SPEAKER_00And it does feel it does feel a little like ball sack, but the wine that we're drinking today is the rolling in the mist.
SPEAKER_02So we're rolling with the homies, except it's mist tonight.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, rolling with the mist. Rolling with the mist. Okay. But it's decent, yeah. Not probably one of our faves, but it's red and it's dry, so it is, and uh, you know what?
SPEAKER_02It's in our price range. Absolutely. So uh we spent a little bit too much over the weekend, so we've got to cut some, we gotta cut back the week.
The Homework Grade And The Bet
SPEAKER_02Well, let's talk about our week. All right, let's go. All right. Uh, well, I know everybody's waiting for this because I I personally was waiting for this. If you haven't listened, go back to the last episode and uh, you know, doing one's homework. And uh, you know, I wanted that approval. Guess what, Besties? Fucking got it, nailed it.
SPEAKER_01A plus an A, 29 out of 30.
SPEAKER_02If that doesn't say a lot right there, I felt like I was like made the honor roll. Okay, so no, but he he sent me a screenshot of you know the professor's notes, and it it was funny. It was it was good. I just um I was just so proud of myself because 29 out of a 30. Good job, Dylan. So nobody's wrote in and told me the website that I should be writing papers on, by the way.
SPEAKER_00They're all little, they were waiting. They were apprehensive, they were waiting on that grade.
SPEAKER_02They were making sure that grade. So I did ask this person, I said, Well, since I get we got an A. Since we helped we got an A. Am I getting laid? Uh I said, What's my what do I get? And uh he said he he you said it on the pod, and I'm like, validation, because that was pretty much no, I said getting laid, but anyway, and so it hasn't happened yet. I mean, but the grade just came out today. Oh, of course. So I already said that maybe if it was a B, C, or D, I that wouldn't be a that wouldn't have flown. That wouldn't have been good.
SPEAKER_00That is fucking hilarious.
SPEAKER_02Yep, I can write papers, I can I can do the thing. Okay, there's that. I knew you guys were all waiting in anticipation over it. I know her, I was, I just didn't know, you know what well, of course I saw you today and I said saving it for the bud. Saving it for the bud.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, she was on 10 today though. She was all shiny and bright, so I figured it was good news.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, no, I literally I was like, I don't know. I get like that when I my approval for myself, yeah.
SPEAKER_00We all do, girl. We all do, so it was a good day.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so anything else interesting happened this week? No, so not really interesting. That was pretty much it.
Tinder Compliments Or Love Bombing
SPEAKER_02I have though been chatting with this guy on Tinder. I know, I know. No, I'm actually we got each other's phone number. And he seems like, okay, let me let's see, let's I'm gonna find out if this is a red flag. Okay. Okay, yeah, let's go. Okay, so I know we've talked about red flags, but this is a new one for me. So he talks about how gorgeous I am, you know, just like uh un uncomfortably too much. Oh you know, like I I don't accept those things very well.
SPEAKER_00Almost kind of like a love bomb, but like in a different kind of way.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I okay, so I'm very untrustworthy. We and I have reason to be. I mean Kitty Gate. Um, and there's there's reason behind my untrustworthiness. I just feel like it's it's gone too much and too far, and I not too much. I just I guess I just don't trust it. Like for for him to keep like saying that.
SPEAKER_00Probably because you're not used to it. I'm gonna but I mean, so when you say that it's too much, like what do you mean by that?
SPEAKER_02Like he he keeps saying, Oh, but it's but if I was with you, uh things like that. I mean, and I'm trying I try and then I get uncomfortable because I don't feel like it's real, because I don't so then I steer the direction another way, and then and then he'll say something else. And uh and and I I I banter back. I'm just I I then I just feel like it's kind of a red flag for me because I don't know if it's because I'm not used to it or because it's too much or too soon too, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I guess so. I mean, I I understand where you're coming from and I understand those feelings for sure. Um, but I mean I always say two things can be true, right? It can be a red flag and it can be um a good thing.
SPEAKER_02A genuine person, yeah. And so I mean, it just depends. It just feels like those genuine person people aren't out there. They are. I know they are, but I haven't come across one in a while. I know. And so it's like I don't know how to I I like it, of course. You know, any compliment you give, it's amazing. Yeah. Does he live close by? No, okay, not um an hour in I think a half, maybe an hour, 15, 20 minutes, something like that. What I would do is I would just go for it, you know. Well, we're supposed to FaceTime tomorrow. Okay. I love that. That's and he's and he's the one that suggested it. So I didn't even suggest it. And that is one of my safety plans. Yes. Is I like to FaceTime, make sure you're real, make sure you're person, human. Yeah, 100% all the things.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so those are those are good things, those are green thoughts. I'm just I think that you're just you're apprehensive, which is extremely absolutely be okay. That's you need to be apprehensive, but you also need to keep that open mind to where this could be an amazing thing, too. And so I'm excited for you. Yeah, but what okay, so let's talk about that. What's the chances? Fitty fitty.
SPEAKER_02Fitty fitty. We can put it in the randomizer because I love our if he were actually, you know, I I think the FaceTime will say a lot. Like that'll be a get to know you. If he if he thinks it's like uh take your clothes off FaceTime, then it'll be done. Oh, absolutely. That'll be a tell-all. That'll be a tell all, yes. But and it won't be done. It's just like I'm not I'm not in the market fan right now. I have some people like you know, I do papers for and stuff that I can get to.
SPEAKER_00So, but has I mean, anymore about anything, or is he just like that's a love bomb, right?
SPEAKER_02So it hasn't yeah, I mean, we've no, it hasn't really been deep. How long? Okay, so this just This just over the weekend. Oh I mean, it's not it's not a long process. That's why I'm like, well, the FaceTime will say it. Yeah, absolutely. I agree. So to be continued, we'll see what happens. Next week, next week, you guys will hear my FaceTime conversation and we'll look at down and dirty on it, whether he's just down in for the dirty.

Date Night Turns Hot Fast
SPEAKER_00Um, so how was your week? Oh gosh, give it to me. Uh, you know, so it was good. I mean, it was decent. Um, Wednesday I got to hang out with the boyfriends. Wow. Lots of lots of fun times there. Loving. Yeah, lots of stuffin'. Oh yeah, he makes stuffed, do you know? Friday we went, the boyfriend and I we went out on a date um to an establishment. I love it because it overlooks water and it's just beautiful. That's the fucking best shrimp I ever ate in my life.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh. I it was good. Um yeah.
SPEAKER_00Anyway, I wasn't on the day, okay? But we'll get to that. Um, yeah, but Friday, Friday day night was amazing. We sat out by the water and uh just there was a uh guy playing and he was you know decent, stuff like that. Um, and just it was just kind of romantic, and uh he said a few things to me that it just like sent me over the edge, you know. So I mean, it was just beautiful. It was nice. That's great. That's yeah, that's perfect. Nothing is like hearing that finish up your drink because I want to take you home and fuck the shit out of you. God, you know, love that. Yeah, okay. Yeah, that's I can get on board with that shit. That's absolutely so the pregame was oh, hot and heavy, so it gets better. So we go, uh, we get in the car and we head down the highway because that's about 20 minutes from from where he lives. Um, and anyways, yeah, he starts uh you know funneling the fiddle, if you know what I mean.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I know what you mean.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, funneling the fiddle. And so obviously that gets me excited. Uh yeah. Are you wearing a skirt? Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna say, how easy was that? Well, I mean jeans. You know, I mean jeans. It's kind of hard, like I'm button. How tight I wear my jeans, okay. I'll take the motherfuckers off. But a skirt would have been yes, pretty easy.
SPEAKER_00So it was it was really nice out too. So that yeah, I had a skirt on, and so um, next thing you know, I'm unbuckling without even like thinking about it. I'm unbuckling.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, safety first, call it. Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_00But it was funny though, because I unbuckled and he's like, Oh, she's unbuckling. And I said, Yes, so keep your eyes on the road, bud. Eyes on the road. So no, yeah, he got a little road head on. Oh, nice. Do you want to demonstrate on our new wine decanter? Uh no, not at this point in time, but thank you for asking.
SPEAKER_02I mean, if we were on video, I'd be like, do it. No, but it's only for my eyes. So I don't need it. That's how desperate she is, besties. She's like, are you sure?
SPEAKER_01Like, honestly, Ivy.
SPEAKER_02I think one episode will use this as a prop because we'll see how each how deep each of us can go. Okay. And we'll mark it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. That's that's a challenge.
SPEAKER_00You gotta get me a little bit more lubricated then, if you know what I mean. But, anyways, I think everybody knows what you um okay. So, yeah, that happened uh Friday night. Um, so obviously we're already super hot and heavy. Um, pre-gaming at you know, dinner, the the music, the everything. Um, then on the way home, it just kind of continued with that foreplay, you know. Foreplay is everything. Everything. Oh yeah, gosh. Um and then, you know, it's what gets the party started. So, like without missing a beat, you know, when we got home, it was just tearing clothes off and danging. Okay, yeah, it was really hot. That's hot. Um, yeah, and then it was just a good, good weekend. Saturday, you know, Scarlet from the floor up.
SPEAKER_02We every time, and not only that, we started at 3 p.m., folks. Yeah, besties, 3 p.m. We weren't even fucking tailgating or anything.
SPEAKER_00No, but we were talking about book club.
Book Club Plans And Reader Callout
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, back to one of our favorite establishments, and they've decided to go ahead and support our book club, and uh, we're gonna go through with it. Super exciting.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, and uh Bessies, if anybody out there has a book suggestion, absolutely email us or put it in the put it in comments or something because we're we need suggestions. I mean I like a variety of I mean there's not really a whole lot I don't like. So yeah, no, I think that's are there any like the so there's you'll read anything. You're not um to an extent. I mean, boring I won't read. Sure.
SPEAKER_00Um boring to me.
SPEAKER_02So what is boring to I I will read romance, I will read sci-fi, I will read true crime, I will read documentaries, actually documentaries. I actually even read the book. I think it's um how to stay t tidy or it it was a self-help book, and honestly, I fucking loved it. Okay, and um uh yeah, no, I even do self-help. I I'm I'm here for it. Yeah, because I if it's it's interesting, keeps my attention.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Fuck yeah, I don't care what the genre is. Yeah, I'm the same. Um, I mean, I'm just not big into if it's a smuddy western, I'll read it. If it's just a western, I I'm not big into that kind of thing.
SPEAKER_03Okay, gotcha.
SPEAKER_00Um, but anyways, yeah, so I I'm excited. I know Scarlett's excited. Yeah, um, this is pretty big for us. Um, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And you know, he puts his trust into us. Yeah. This uh the guy that's owned.
SPEAKER_00Somebody who's never really even but one time because I told him that his restaurant stock.
SPEAKER_02Somehow we walked out of there golden and still are.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I'm like, hey, but you stink in here. And he's like, cool, we like you. Do you want to start a book club?
SPEAKER_02I know. Go ahead. Like, well, if we're doing a book club and you are an establishment that sells wine and you've had some pairings before, let's incorporate that in the book. Yeah. A wine and a pairing with it. Absolutely. And I think that's like choose a wine and we'll promote it. Yeah. And you we'll sell it. Give us a discount, a dollar or two or some shit. And then guess what? That's a promotion right there.
SPEAKER_00Oh, 100%. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that was a really, really good idea. Um, so then yeah, we stayed there. We drank a bottle. I we came back um to Scarlett's and we drank more wine. Yeah, drank more wine. Uh, she got ready to go to the establishment where the water is. We frequent that quite often in the summertime because it's just it is just a great place. It truly is the atmosphere. It's spot on.
SPEAKER_02In the it would the weather was great. So it the and I already mentioned it. Yeah, fucking shrimp. Yeah. I don't know why I keep talking about these shrimps.
SPEAKER_01No, it's okay. It is so good.
SPEAKER_02Yes. When I have something good and I'm like, oh my god, this hits me. I will promote it, I will talk about it, and I will sell it to that market. That is, I've had that before, and that is one of my favorite things there. And I will get it.
SPEAKER_00We introduced each other to new new dishes. New dishes there. So um, but anyways, yeah, so beautiful night. Um, we were done by eight o'clock.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Not not before we met some new friends. Oh, we did. We were sitting at the bar, and I mean, I don't know what we we were talking about or anything, but we sparked up a conversation. Uh, man and his wife, and we became besties, and uh, you know, they're gonna listen to the pod.
SPEAKER_00So shout out if you're listening to the pod, if you met us at that establishment. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Whoop, whoop. Uh-huh. And we left at 8 p.m. I mean, yeah. I mean, no late.
SPEAKER_00And you're the ones that said, you're leaving already.
SPEAKER_02I mean, we've been drinking since Ruby. I guess the night's over.
SPEAKER_00We weren't kind of hard fast, but it's okay. It is what it is.
SPEAKER_02We truly did. But it was funny. We were having a good time.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we always have fun.
SPEAKER_02It was a good time, so I don't take it back or Dylan even regret it. It was good. Um, so yeah, other than that, um, I think that we should just get into the no uh outside of well, when when Ivy was getting fucked by her brains out, I was visiting the family. I had family from out of town.
SPEAKER_00So that just goes to show the completely different weekends we have. Absolutely, yeah. And that I guess I I need to actually brag on this moment just for a minute. Now you just made me like spark up that because yeah, I mean, again, we came home Friday, just kind of leading off on that Friday, just you know, that foreplay that we literally I swear we fucked probably like six times that night. Fuck, damn. I'm not kidding you, like it was yes, god, he's huge up until uh yesterday when I soaked in Epsom salt finally. Because I'm like, girl, are you fucking serious? I'm telling you, girl, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, well, hopefully, you don't have a pap smear anytime soon. She's gonna be like, bitch, I can see your insight.
SPEAKER_01She'll be like, I know what you but I don't even need any uh tools. I can see your fucking cervix.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know I probably came 12 times that night. Who wants to listen to this shit? It is the most times in the boyfriend's gonna listen to this and be like, I did that. And yes, you're welcome. But I mean fives everywhere. Absolutely, but I'm telling you, probably the most I've ever came in one setting. I would just like one after another, I'm just like, oh okay, like it has to come to like a stop.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but the that means the connection was there because you don't you don't just come, I mean, you can come with guys that you're not like one-nighters or whatever, but to come multiple times, all like several times, you there's some sort of connection.
SPEAKER_00Oh absolutely, yeah, yeah, yeah. There's just there's lots of connection there, you know, and then to get woken up and then just start all over again, you're you know, I mean, it was just great. Okay, I'm done bragging.
SPEAKER_02Uh moving on. No, that's great. Um, someday I'll be there, and then I'll have this these bragging rights, and you'll be like, My my relationship's getting stale. I'm like, bitch, mine's just starting. So let's get it. No, I'll be happy for you. Absolutely. No, I'm joking. For real. Yeah.
Why Friendships Change Over Time
SPEAKER_02But let's talk about this week's episode. So um let's talk friendships. Yeah. You know, um not only with men, uh, well, we all we both have men friendships and women friendships. Yep. And uh you know, old, new, uh, current, you know, we can go there. So I just wanted to start with you if that's okay. Yeah. Like do you have a friendship you want to share?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I'm actually gonna start with um my longtime friend. Um, I've known her since I was I was literally two years old. She was three at the time. Um this is the one that's in Egypt, correct? Yep. Yes. Anyways, um, so we grew up across the alley. I had just moved into this house. I'm their family now, and we've known each other for over God, I'm my age here, but uh 40 years.
SPEAKER_02So you you had said that you call each other sister, and that's that's wonderful. So that's that's how much she means to you. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she's not my she's not my best friend anymore. She's my she's my family, she's my sister. She ain't going nowhere, no how. Nope. I don't even address her because it's uh it's a long story to try to explain to somebody, yeah, she's not my blood sister, but she is my sister, blah blah blah.
SPEAKER_02But those are okay too.
SPEAKER_00Uh absolutely. So she um has always been a part of my life. Um, good, ugly, great, bad. I mean, all the things. I mean, she's just been there.
SPEAKER_02Um it's it's hard to find somebody that'll stick around for all of it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. You know, no, 100%. Yeah. And she's definitely the one that's been there. Her mom has been there too. Um, and then, but also like her grandmas, you know, opened her arms and her and her home to me when I was even a little kid up till the the time that she passed away. I mean, there's just been a lot of history um with this girl. A lot. So um her uncle um was became super best friends with my dad. Um, they were big, huge computer nerds. So that's one thing they she's sorry, Scarlett is pouring from the penis right now. So pretty hard.
SPEAKER_01No pun intended.
SPEAKER_00Um, anyway, so what about you? Do you have a number one?
SPEAKER_02Um, so I don't. I I I've been in uh like a lot of good friend great friendships. Okay. Some of them have lasted through the time and some of them don't. Yeah. And uh they did not roll with the changes I've made in my life and the things that have happened and done. And and you know, people change. Um, you know, I had uh a best friend that we'd been best friends since third fucking grade and amazing friendship. Uh you know, we'd we'd had it ups, downs everywhere. We even we went to college together. Uh we even uh were uh dorm mates in college. Um it lasted a really long time, but then I I can't even tell you where it turned, to be honest. It was it was a combination of things, so I can't even really like pinpoint something. Okay. But uh she's no longer in my life, and you know, I always I'm a very um like I hold on to things. Okay. I hold on to everything, honestly. And I have a lot of appreciation for my past and my my history with basically anybody. Okay. So when I think of those things and I I look at old pictures, it makes me like just really sad that I don't have that person in my life anymore and hold on to friendships and the value in them. Yeah. Um, but you know, in in long story short, it not they don't always work out in the times that you're changing in your life and the things that you're doing and absolutely and how you have to do what's best for you in that moment, exactly. So those memories I'll cherish for fucking ever because those are memories I'll never forget. Like that we've good, bad, ugly. Absolutely. So I she's out there and uh she's great and she's a good friend to uh many, uh just not I. Um and it's nothing against her, it's just how our friendship ended and ended up. And um, do you have another friendship? I otherwise I'll we'll talk current, we'll talk past, we'll talk.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
The Friend Who Helped Me Heal
SPEAKER_00So um the other one that I want to bring up, um, I'm gonna kind of go from a timeline, I guess, because that's just the way my brain works. Sure. Um, so from there, um, I actually met somebody. Um, and it was when I moved back to my hometown. When I moved back to my hometown, I was in a really, really, really shitty place. Um, so I went out one night. Um, I met this person, this woman. Um, and I'm not one to just run up to somebody and be like, oh my gosh, like I I need to be your friend.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'd say you're you're a tough shell to crack. Yeah. So you know, I'm just it took us a bit, sure.
SPEAKER_00I'm just not that kind of person. And when I met this person, for some reason, like I just, I was like, you're so beautiful. Like, I just I want to be your friend. And it was so, it was so organic and so real. Um, and she ended up helping me break into uh the house that I was staying in at the time because I locked myself out of shocker, I know. Shocker, I'm not surprised by this. Locked myself. So yeah, she helped me break into my house and climb through the window. And um, she lock your doors, folks.
SPEAKER_02Maybe change your life.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, probably would. No, you never know whose house I'm gonna climb into. But no, and she's still she's still uh a great friend of mine to this day. We've been through a lot. Um, her son and my daughter are you know fairly close in age and kind of grew up together, too. So I mean, um is there a friendship that you had that you lost?
SPEAKER_02Um that you missed or uh just that's that's a good one.
SPEAKER_00I mean, maybe so. Um I don't I don't think I've ever like truly lost someone per se. Um but the fact that I'm not yeah, that we're not like close to like uh in school. Um I had this really um awesome friend, and and I do miss her. I wish that we lived closer together. Um we did so much together. We did way too much together at times, but um, this is going back to the campfire after yeah. Um, she lives a couple hours from us, um, has a family of her own. Um, she reaches out to me from time to time.
SPEAKER_02The friendship just hasn't like evolved because you guys, the distance exactly, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, just and things throughout the years have changed, she went through so much. Um, and doubtily felt doubtedly so because I mean she lost her mom when she was, you know, super young because she grew up with her grandparents who I mean, golly, you know, they're old and can't do much and stuff like that. We know we're in the biz. I know.

Introduced me to her cousin, other friends that she had in the town that she grew up in, which wasn't too far from where she lived at that point in time where she was going to school with me. Um, yeah, we just we had a lot of wild, you know, we would do witchy, like witchcraft and stuff together. What you did back in the day were very goth back in the goth, okay. Yeah, we got a goth um era with her and I'm like, Salem witch trials.

When Family Is Your Best Friends
SPEAKER_02Give me good, give me some. So I'm fucking spoiled to death because um I have uh family in my life that they are my best friends, and we rely on each other for everything. Um so when you have that type of friendship with your family and let I'm I'm saying sisters, I have sisters, yeah. They we've said this before amongst ourselves because uh it it deters us from making friendships. It really does because we have each other. Absolutely, I can see that. And when we have each other, we don't to necessarily need anybody. You don't need to venture out, yeah. And it was actually a hindrance for me uh there for a long time after you know, when I moved out, you know, my ex-husband and stuff. It I I'm glad you came along, Ivy, because there I never had somebody that I could go do those great things that we do. Yeah. Drunk at 3 p.m. I mean, no, it's it's true though. It's the things that we do together, like go see bands. We're very active. And so they're very active people too, but they have restrictions. They're married. Yeah, they they exactly, you know, they have you know, they have that person. I haven't found that person yet. So a completely different lifestyle, but yet I know I can count on them for fucking everything. Literally, I they are great. They truly for each other, we we will do everything and anything. And uh, I have a cousin that's part of that. She's a sister, we call her her sister. My children call aunt her aunt. I mean I met her one time, yeah. Yeah, and so she's in that bubble too, and yeah, we're fucking spoiled with each other.
SPEAKER_00Well, you I mean, truly are because you like to use the word bless, so I'll use that, you know. You truly, you truly are though. I mean, you do have a lot of amazing people on your side and there for you, and to absolutely have your back at no cost, but then they're the type too that will like support you in public, but then reprimand you in private, you know. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02I mean, they will definitely show me, you know, tell me what I've done done wrong, you know, they'll they'll they'll fucking school me. And you know, sometimes I need that, you know, get your fucking shit together, yeah. Um they're good, they're good people, yeah, and they've been good to everybody in my life, fucking everybody, from friendships to every everything else. So um, so I would say that they they are the most important people, but I also have this amazing um, she is uh a cousin, but she's also a best friend. And I want to mention her because she is the one, she's one of the person I will call and I will say, what do you think? Yeah, you know, uh, because she will give me her honest answer, and not only that, but she is so uh uh heartfelt and wonderful and kind and um she's straight to the point, which I love. I like those people like you, Ivy. Um, and she's like that, and I I love that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's it's one of the things can't wait to meet her. Yeah, we hope I get to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she I also have another friend um that we've mentioned this to each other before, that we don't see each other a lot because it our lives are chaotic, and even though we don't live super far from each other, it's just chaos and and and work and and podcast. Yeah. And so uh, but we've always said to each other that when we do see each other, it's like we haven't skipped a fucking beat. Correct. Yeah, I love that. And that is a true friendship to me. Yeah. Where you, if you could even go six months without talking to somebody, but you you don't skip a damn beat. It's like you saw them every day of the week for months. Absolutely. And I I love that type of friendship. And so, you know, those are friendships that like are everlasting for me. Yeah, you know, those are people, those people I just mentioned will always be in my life because well they're yeah, absolutely. Not even just the family, it's just uh the there and there's people from high school that I I'm really great friends with. And we don't like I said, we don't see each other regularly, but when we do, it's we don't skip a fucking beat. It's it's amazing. It's awesome. I love that for you. And and new friendships I've made with Ivy. So and uh the the blossoming it that we've done together.
SPEAKER_00Oh, we're still learning so much about each other. Oh fuck yeah. So yeah, it's it's become beautiful though. Uh did you have somebody else you wanted to add up? I've got, yeah, I've got just so many I do. I have a lot of, I don't have what you have, but I have it in a different kind of way. Um and so my next shout out is gonna be um a lady that I met not long after about the one that I had just spoken about. Um, and she's been kind of like an in and out kind of person in my life too. But I've been a nomad. I it's hard for me to stay in one place for too long. Um I get antsy and anyways, um, but she's one of those ones too that you can just reconnect with without skipping a beat, you know, and that's when you know you have love and true friendship, you know. So um, yeah, um, she's amazing. She's got one of the purest hearts. Probably one of my I mean, I I want to say this in the in the most loving, but like I don't know. She's just she's very just caring about everyone. Uh so she reminds me kind of a lot of of you a little bit. You know, she's very religious in a lot of ways.

Fishbowls And Chaos College Memories
SPEAKER_02What is a memory that you have about any of the friendships you've talked about or uh said that you like a funny, funny, anything funny, anything like and I'm putting you on the spot, so yeah, I'll basically cut it out the pus.
SPEAKER_00I love, love, love getting people together that I love and care about and with other people that I love and care about. Oh, yeah. I've met some of your introducing them. I don't know what it is, it just gives me so much fucking happiness and joy. Like it just means a lot to me to have that small community of people that are like-minded and you know, can appreciate everyone together instead of like I have to cut my time and stuff like that. Why, why not make our own little community of people and and have everybody together? Like that's just so beautiful to me. So funny moment for you know.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I got one. Okay. So uh my one of my high school friends, uh, we well, I talked about it earlier, but we lived in college together and uh so okay, so there used to be a time in my life that I used to like be a little like shit. I know. Okay. No, yeah, uh-huh, yeah. I've grown a lot from there, but I used to be like kind of like like a little shit starter after a couple drinks, like in college, I'd be like, you know, maybe a little cat bit in it. I mean, I know. Can you picture this? You can't because I'm I'm the opposite now.

SPEAKER_02I mean, I do like a little drama here and there. And uh so I mean, there was this chick that I don't even remember. Okay, so I do remember it. So the first time I know this is gonna be drawn out, I'll cut whatever I have to cut. Anyway, uh so me and my friends, we were at the bar, and after the bar, sometimes there would be a pizza being sold for five bucks outside. Oh shit. Fuck yeah, dominoes, come on, dominoes, uh shout out. Okay, okay. If you want to sponsor us, let's let's we'll we will we'll eat dominoes during the pod. So anyway, they they had like a five-dollar pizza. So we of course grabbed onto it and we immediately are eating because we're like been drinking all night. And it's like the best pizza you've ever had. You're like, all right, my life like hit it. But do you remember those? Uh this this is uh not pizza related, but do you remember those fucking fishbowl things they used to give out like at bars uh in college? Okay, what? No girl. So there was zero, I mean, I felt like I was drinking sugar, but they used to give us, uh, sell us these fish bowls. Literally, it was a fishbowl. Oh my god. So I what part was that? I don't even know. In the very beginning. Okay. So unfortunately, we all were like, oh, pitch in on that. And then, you know, one person gets stuck holding this fucking fishbowl. Oh my god. Uh, shout out, you know who you are. Uh but uh they like literally, and and this has nothing to do with the entire story, but I just remember the fucking fishbowls and how ridiculous we looked dancing on the dance floor. No, you'd be like, dancing, and then all of a sudden one of your friends would be like, come up and take a drink out of the hot.
SPEAKER_00So, what Scarlett is doing, she's holding the fishbowl in the palm of her hand out, and she's moving her head around, and then she's saying that when somebody comes up, like they'll just like basically like take the straw and like try to drink it out of your hand, right? Instead of like grabbing the fishbowl and be like, Hey, like you've been holding that for a while, let your hand rest.
SPEAKER_01No, this is the most ridiculous fucking drink you could purchase because how annoying it is.
SPEAKER_02Well, we're we do that today, so so anyway, I mean, it's not like it was it was just one of those funny moments. I'm like, I can't believe we fucking fishbowled that shit. I mean, who does that?

It was I mean, they probably put a shot in the thing in the whole like the thing was like 64 ounces. How much were these fishbowls? Oh god. Um I mean, we're cheap fucks. Yeah, probably between five people, it was like two bucks a piece. Oh wow. I don't know. Okay. Uh school me on that. Uh if you know you know who I you are. School me. Tell me no. Yeah. I can't really. I want to even know more about these. So were they like different flavors? Like, could you get like a few years? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it was like uh sunrise or no, tequila sunrise, um, or sex on the beach. Okay. These are the drinks. Like you, you know what those drinks are. They could literally no alcohol and just sugar and juice and stuff like you get more hyped up on the sugar than anything. Yeah. So that that I do remember that. That was fucking funny. But anyway, that's beside the point. Okay, so I I do you want to circle back or no? Let's keep going, fishbowl. If you want to. No, I'm just joking. Okay. I'm like, yeah, let's go.

A Toxic Friendship Ends For Good
SPEAKER_00Okay. And I don't necessarily miss the friendship that I lost. Um, it was a huge learning experience, but uh, we were together um at a sandwich establishment and I was born. Uh so born at a sandwich in the same, in the same maybe I said that wrong, but anyway. I'll take a roast beef and I'm having a baby.

Yeah, everybody else, I guess, too. But um, so we worked together at that same establishment. We ended up being roommates together. Um, she was a little bit younger than me by a couple years. Um, so but I was in my early 20s. So I mean it we were in the same kind of like era, but not. Um, we would have these stupid house parties. Oh, fucking house parties are awesome. Well, never stupid. We had, well, I mean, stupid, like we just did way too much, but oh, sure, sure, sure. In the basement, there was a part of the establishment where he worked at, so they could insure the house with that's how that was like the whole thing that they had to have a piece of the restaurant there. This is fucking weird anyway. So that we rented from our boss and um, so yeah, we had this bench down downstairs, and like no, we were like, Well, good luck to anybody else. You're just gonna have to stand. We would sit in that area, only a few select people would be allowed in the bench on the bench? Yep. Okay, yep, because that you have to realize like maybe three people first come first serve.
SPEAKER_02You know the bench, you know who you are. No, no, that's VIP to the
SPEAKER_00VIP seating. Okay. I love it. Yes. Yeah. VIP. We, yeah, we had at times um younger people, we had older. I mean, it was just, it was wild. Um, and so yeah, I'll never forget the the very first night that we had the biggest argument. She was dating uh or seeing, I can't even say dating. She wasn't fucking dating him, that she was fucking a date um married man. And um, I didn't appreciate it because she was bringing drama, unnecessary drama into our home like that. And so we kind of had a little spit spat about it. And um kind of that's kind of where it started from there. Um, later on, found out that she was shit talking me the entire time to our boss, um, just saying lies about things number one about the house. I was always a cleaner in the house, she never picked up a finger in the house. I mean, just wild things. She would take pictures of her clothes and say that they were my clothes. She was very narcissistic. Okay. Very narcissistic.
SPEAKER_02So that is not somebody that long last you.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no. Uh, so the guy that I was seeing at the time um was not of white-skinned. Um, and she said that she didn't like people like that. And she I didn't, I I never knew that she was racist. She didn't come across that way. That's disgusting. Yeah, correct. However, she now has a baby with the man that I was sleeping with. Say what? Yeah. Fast indeedy. Okay. Yeah. Well, at uh listen here, you racist whore. Yeah, no, truly, yeah, seriously. So um I I definitely don't miss her. Um but it's definitely a a friendship that I lost that I'm glad that I lost because that toxicity was for sure there and never showed up in the beginning. Um, so she definitely used and abused.
SPEAKER_02And yeah, no, they're there, those friendships are not like something that you you can't keep long standing and you gotta give up on them eventually.

Uh, we got the pizza. And my friend, uh, he knows who he is. He's amazing. I still talk to him to this day because he's fucking hilarious and I want him on the pod. You know who you are. Anyway, uh, he lit gave a piece of pizza to this chick, and she's like, I don't know. I don't even know where my headspace was at. Anyway, I like got into it with her. Oh my god. I mean, I don't even know if it was over pizza. I don't know. Okay.

Yeah, like she re we remembered what each other looked like on this college campus. And I'm not fucking kidding you. This bitch, if I saw her anywhere, she would try and fucking pick a fight with me. And I wasn't even I was like, no, I'm not in the mood tonight. I haven't had any fishbowls. Okay. I haven't had that dominoes and I haven't had the fishbowls. I mean, is there pepperoni? No, she did. She like uh like every single place I saw her. This went on for a very long time, and I was over it. I was done. Yeah. But so this what sealed the deal. Uh oh. Let's go. Yeah. So me and my friend, we uh my friend, my college friend, we went out by ourselves. Um, probably not a great idea. Uh uh, and uh we went to our favorite favorite place and oh fucked walk it. She's there. She's fucking there. I'm like, God damn it. God damn it. Here comes the domino fish bowl, girl. Like just fucking take the pepperoni pizza. I don't give a shit.

I'm not kidding you. We walked, we walked, we we we knew it was time to go, me and her, because I was like, well, we don't have anybody else here. So if they get jumped, we're jumped. Yeah. And so we walk out of the bar and this fucking whore comes at me, just comes up and just comes at me, jump uh jumps on uh my friend's back. Literally, I'm not kidding you. This is like savage shit. I was like, are you where are you okay? Um so anyway, my friend, she had it, she's done. She's like, I'll take care of this. Okay, it's done. I mean, we're all fighting each other. I don't even know how like I just remember I looked over and my friend had her her because I think her friend ran off probably because I don't want anything in this. She's like, You're not worth it. Bye. Yeah. So my she had her in a fucking headlock, and all I saw was her arm just punching the fucking shit out of her. So what she's doing right now is she's got her head like in a headlock. Headlock to this side, yeah, and her head's literally right there. Okay, and she just literally fucking punching the shit out of her. Punching the shit out of her. Wow. And my friend's tall. I'm a short fucker. And I look, I just I I think I was still dealing with the other situ like the other all the things that are going on right now. But I just remember looking up and I'm like, and she's not a fighter. She she's not like a instigator or fighter, but she'll take care of things if it comes down to it. And she did. It was the most amazing thing I ever seen in my life, and I talk about it all the time because uh if I if if anybody came to my rescue and ended that, it ended that fucking night. Okay. That night it was.

You know, I have these memories in my head that stick with me, and they will never ever, and it doesn't matter how old I am. I I know that it's a memory that I'll keep it. For sure. I have a core memory. It's a core. Yeah. And uh I have several of those. And this one, Gosh, I'm like, thanks. Thanks. SPEAKER_02Oh fuck, yeah. I we had yeah, yeah, we had that too. Girl, girl, I know. Girl, you how many did you usually they only gave you like three or four at a time, as like give me eight tea. Yeah. Because I fucking hated standing in line.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it was always so packed, you know it. So um and it was the worst fucking type of beer. Oh, yes. Yep, yep. But Keystone. You'd always sure it was Keystone. Oh, you remember the bricks of Keystone though? You had those bricks of Keystone, they were like I think four dollars. Yeah, they were super cheap. Oh, I fucking drank Keystone all the fucking time. We made a bearmid, me and the roommate that I don't talk to anymore. That whole story that I just told, I don't talk to anymore. Yeah, we made a bearmid out of our Keystone fucking cans.

Made the most of it. It was a crazy fucking night by the end of it. I mean, uh, because at this place, like it's known, like you just have like different uh not even frat houses. There are just literally there's well, I don't think they have any more. They banned it, but there was a several streets that they would just um open up and they would have bars in their homes, and that's how they made their money. You would just go to these homes with the bars in them, and you would just get schnockered. Okay. Yeah, you just cheap fucking beer. Well, I mean, they had an extreme, they had all kinds of stuff. Oh, did they? Yeah, yeah, yeah. They had all kinds of some of them had like drink specials and stuff. Okay, yeah, it was pretty wild. Um, you had beer pong at some of them. Oh god, I fucking love beer pong. Yeah, I do games. I mean, you have video games going on. There was a lot of games.

Um, so I mean, and then you just you get you meet friends along the way. Oh, just yeah, girl, you get a group together, and you're just like, ah, yo. And then you take the bus back together. Well, this is funny. So we took the bus back together, and this bitch fucking gets up on the hill, the the tip top of the hill, and fucking says, watch what I can do, and fucking rolls her fucking fat ass down the hill. I'm like, you are stupid. I might be walking with one flip-flop on and one flip-flop on. I ain't fucking getting, I ain't doing that. And she just fucking, yeah, and it was the funniest shit I'd ever see in my life. So funny. Okay. Staple right there. I mean, it's super staple. Yeah, it was funny. It was a good time. I mean, just going like thinking about all the different like pieces of the puzzle, you know, that happened that night. It was pretty wild, it was pretty funny.
