Nothing Un-Touched
Panties, Pressure & Plus-Ones
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A relationship can feel amazing in private, then suddenly you have to answer the scary questions out loud: When do my friends meet them? When does my family meet them? When do my kids meet them? We talk through that exact pressure, including why first impressions can be hard to recover from and how to pace introductions when you actually see potential.
We also get real about the messy context that surrounds dating in your 30s and 40s: supporting a partner through grief when you are still learning each other, coping with interview anxiety and confidence dips, and noticing red flags before you get pulled in. Scarlett shares a new connection that quickly turns questionable, and we break down why certain “small” details can signal bigger problems with stability, honesty, or readiness.
Then we jump into modern relationship territory: the soft launch versus hard launch debate on social media. We share what privacy means to us, how we think about posting a new partner, and why boundaries matter even more when unwanted attention shows up. Things get extra real when an ex who is blocked finds a way to call anyway, forcing a careful, safety-first response.
If you’re navigating dating advice, meeting the family, introducing a boyfriend or girlfriend to kids, or figuring out your own relationship boundaries, this conversation will feel like a night out with friends who tell the truth. Subscribe, share this with a bestie, and leave us a review. What’s your rule for when a partner meets your people?

Welcome Back And No Filters
SPEAKER_01Hey besties, you're listening to Nothing Untouched, the podcast where we overshare, laugh a lot, and talk dating, hookups, and heartbreak. And all the messy moments in between. Hi, I'm Ivy Noor. And I'm Scarlett May. Buckle up, besties. Nothing is off limits.
SPEAKER_00Hey besties. Welcome back. Welcome, guys. We've missed you so, so much. Yeah, it's been forever, right? Yeah. It's been a week. Less week.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. Sunday. This is Thursday, so. Yeah. So we got that episode out. I mean, we busted it out. Yeah. Scarlett worked her ass off to get her out there. Well, we knew that you guys wanted it. Yeah. So we had to get it out. I mean, everybody, we just got so many fan mails coming in that. We can't even give up. Where's your episode? Where is it? Where is it?
Underwear Shopping And Whale Tail Era
SPEAKER_01Ivy, what are you been up to? How's things going with you?
SPEAKER_00Here, listen to me right now, okay? I want I gotta share one thing. All right, let's go. Yeah, it's a wreck, okay? It's I gotta wreck. So I I'm super, super, I guess, picky when it comes to undergarments, my panties, especially. Like the brand or not necessarily the brand. The fit. The the fit, the fabric. I went through a big phase in my life where I just went commando. Didn't wear you know, they say that's good for you. I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_01They say you shouldn't wear underwear to bed.
SPEAKER_00No, I sleep completely naked. Oh, so okay. Yeah. Anyways, so yeah, just like the tie, I have a big booty, so it's hard to find underwear that actually covers you. Blah, blah, blah. So what? Do you wear thongs or I'm just I'm not big into thongs. I used to wear a lot of thongs. I don't know. Something clicked in me one day and I got sick of them. So I got rid of majority of them. I still have one pair, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01So the thing about the thongs, I started, I never wore it until I was in high school. Okay. I think it was my senior year. But somebody gave me some really good advice about thongs.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01So she said she's like, well, I'd rather have one strip up my ass than all of it. All of it bunched up up my ass. That fucking made sense to me. I was like, okay, sold. Yeah. And it, I don't even notice it anymore. But I do wear regular underwear to bed. Yeah. Hey, do you remember the the Britney Spears stage where she used to wear the thong that hung out of her pants? Yeah, that's coming back. Yeah. And you know, people called it the whale tail. I had whale tail. I had a whale tail quite frequently because I believe it. Well, because low low low-cut jeans and uh songs apparently don't go, they don't mesh. Well, they do, yeah, but not to cover them up. I was like, well, it is what it is. Sorry guys. I've that's just my whale tail hanging out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. No, the the one pair of thongs that I do actually still have are my Victoria's Secret ones that are bedazzled. Okay. They're black and they're bedazzled.
SPEAKER_01You pet must have paid a pretty penny for those. That's why they're still around. Yeah. You can't really get rid of those.
SPEAKER_00No, they're like $65 for a pair of underwear. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Anyways. Those are special occasions. Exactly. If you're good, I might wear those thongs.
SPEAKER_00So I went to Marshall's and I was feeling these underwear and I'm looking all around. I'm like, I just don't know. Like, golly, I need new underwear. I hate underwear shopping, bra shopping, all of it. So, anyways, I came upon these monkey brand ones. Oh my god, stop. And they like the elastic, like I didn't know if I was gonna like them because I don't like anything to have them around. Really? They're in my drawer right now.
SPEAKER_01I'm not kidding you. They're so fucking comfortable. Oh my god. And I got it from Marshall. That's hilarious. Girl. You got the full booty ones? The full booty ones because I love to sleep in them. They're just like so comfortable. Yes, they are. The fabric's good. It's I will I mean absorbing, I guess. No, they are. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. It's not hot. It doesn't happen. Exactly. Oh, girl. I'm gonna go back and get more. I hope they still have some. Did they have different colors? The ones that I have are like more like neutral colors. Yeah, mine were like light colors. Yeah, and I have a dark navy and then one that has like poke white, it's like white with like black cocaine.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Okay. All right. I'll have to go back. I I love mine. I yeah, they've held up. I got, I think I got them like six months ago. Wow. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I just got mine two weeks ago, maybe. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That is crazy. So basically, if Ivy and I shop together, we're just gonna pick out the same shit. Yeah. Pretty, pretty close too.
SPEAKER_00But anyways, I know I'm in love with so besties. If you're looking, if you're a big booty girl, big booty bitch, check out these. They're so the elastic band, you wouldn't think that you would like them. But you don't you don't feel I'm wearing freaking hot pants right now.
SPEAKER_01And yeah, you can't see them. You can't what I like about those, since you are wearing the not the non-thong ones, you the panty lines not noticeable. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I'm saying the wear pants, you can't see them. Yep, absolutely. So, no, anyways, if you're looking for new Marshalls, reach out to us, we'll support you. Yes, please sponsor us. Thank you so much.
Supporting A Partner Through Grief
SPEAKER_00Um, no, got some sad news this morning. I know the boyfriend lost one of his really good friends. Are you kidding me? Yeah, so he's just really going through it.
SPEAKER_01Fucking going through it.
SPEAKER_00I know, I know.
SPEAKER_01Holy shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I woke up this morning, and usually he comes to bed and like cuddles me like right before I get up and stuff like that. But anyway, so I wake up and I just figured he was probably like stuck on his game or whatever. So I went out there and I said good morning, and he just like looked at me and I was like, Well, and he said good morning, but he was like gruff, and I'm like, You okay? And he that's when he's like, No, I just found out that one of my good friends died.
SPEAKER_01And I was like, Oh my god, I know just after their fucking grandma.
SPEAKER_00I know, gosh. So he's he's definitely going through so he's going back to his hometown to visit some friends and his mom and his son, and still deal with this shit going on with his grandma and his mom, and then now this.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, so uh anyways, it's just like I mean, you're so fresh in this relationship. It's like, God, I I I would be like, I don't know how to act. I I don't, you know, like I don't I I don't know where to go with your grieving because I've never and you're you guys are new. I I don't know how I could I don't know what I do. Yeah, I mean I don't how are you feeling like you're handling it?
SPEAKER_00Well, I don't know. Yeah, you know, I hope I'm help I'm handling it well for him. I'm trying, yeah. No, that's I'm being there for him, I'm giving him his you know, distant space, whatever he needs, but I mean ultimately I'm a needy bitch too at times. So I don't know. I I'm giving him grace and I'm just giving him grace, space, and I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, just kindness and yeah, kindness, and that's so I've been through a lot of grieving deaths in my life, and I don't like people to draw attention to me for I really don't. Like I will avoid it because I I cry easy, I get emotional easy, especially if it's somebody close. So I tried my hardest not to like show what I'm going through. Yeah, I try to be strong or I try to just avoid it, you know.
SPEAKER_00But the the inside is like screaming, like So how would you want somebody to be there for you or comfort you, but not be overbearing then?
SPEAKER_01So in a new relationship, it it depends on how you know, like for you guys' situation. And I would probably be on the side like so, you know, give them the support, but the space is good. Uh for me, that that's good too. But there's some people that if you give them space and they're grieving, they feel like they're not an it's not enough. You know, I just I feel bad for you to going through that because in him, yeah. Because that's it's something that you know, two two of them in a row. Yeah, it's tough. Yeah, so sorry.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, and actually he hopefully this is the knock on wood. I don't know. I mean, because he actually just lost another friend right after his grandma passed.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I and he was, you know, he wasn't as upset about this one, but I think I mean, my gosh, you know, you have now one death, two deaths, three, you know, three deaths in less than a span of a goddamn month. Well, hey, uh you know how they say they come in threes. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like hopefully this is it this for a while for a long time because golly, I can't even imagine what he's going through. Yeah, you know, so yeah, I'm just trying to be there for him. So that's all you can do. I mean, do the best. Absolutely. Well, um, I do have some uh other uh in other news. I do have you know, you there comes a time in your life, you're when we're in our 40s, I'm for sure. I I was so thrilled to get this job, the job that I'm in right now. Yeah, I love my job and you're great at it. I love the people that I work with, I mean all that. Love the people, you know, that I help take care of. I mean, come on, we work in a field that takes care of people. Um, we have the worst insurance there is out there for the most part, you know. I mean, there's just so much more that goes into it. So, you know, making money is obviously that's your top priority when you're when you get a job. But then also what better You gotta afford those lucky brand marshals underwood characters, which actually they're not that expensive, especially at marketing. I mean, shit, for like five pairs, they were like 17 maybe. Uh-huh. Anyways, and we gotta support our wine problem, exactly. Yeah.
Interview Anxiety And Job Fair Origin Story
SPEAKER_01I know the pudding is like I get so fucking nervous. How do you handle interviews?
SPEAKER_00I'll be fine until I'm about five to ten minutes out, and then I'll start sweating and panicking and have a panic attack.
SPEAKER_01I fucking sweat my ass off. I will literally people probably think I'm like lying or something. But I mean, I'm just like I can't, I cannot help.
SPEAKER_00In the interview that I got for the job that I'm working at, now I started crying. You did? Yes. Oh my god, I had no idea. I didn't know you cried. Oh my god, I was just so over it. Besties, I had been looking for a job for over three months. I had previously left a job, good paying job. I was doing amazing at it. It's just the company was not a good fit. That's all I'm gonna say about that. Yeah, and that happens, yeah. And so knowing my worth, my capabilities going from that position, I was like, I big cock out, literally.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, I can go anywhere. I got this. No, no, and it doesn't always happen that way.
SPEAKER_00No, and the person like the ex actually was the one that was like, no, quit, you're miserable. We'll we'll figure it out, you know? Sure. And so I did, and I didn't find another job for another fucking three months. Yeah. And so when I got that job, it was a recruiting job, and it lasted short of a month because my office mate, I don't know, got me fired somehow. First time in my life I've ever been fired. That's uh that's for another uh episode. But anyway, shit. Um, so then going forward after that one, uh, you know, that just my ego, my self-worth, my everything just fucking plummeted.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, no.
SPEAKER_00And so I took a chance and went to a job fair that I used to be a part of. And uh so very, very scared walking in there only because like nerves, right? And anxiety and overthinking and just everything.
SPEAKER_01Like, I don't belong here. Like I could tell that like when I met you there, I that I could tell that you were above that. And that's why I was like, gosh, she's she'd be great.
SPEAKER_00Well, I mean, I don't ever like to put myself as like I'm better than than what's you know what I'm doing right now, but it almost you know, to I don't bash on me, but I mean it did feel like that. I'm like, I am definitely better than this. I don't know why I have to stoop to go to a job fair, which job fairs are great. Yeah, no, you learn a lot, and especially if you don't have the resources or the knowledge or the the resume buildup that, you know, or you know, all the things. But I had so I had so much and I had my you know resume out there. I had it on, anyways. So yeah, I came across Scarlett at a table and I asked her a few questions. She asked me, and she's like, Well, at first she said, No, we don't have anything. And then I was getting ready to leave, and she came after me and she's like, you know what? Actually, we're looking for a this position that we're hiring for. You should apply for it. And I was like, Okay, like sure.
SPEAKER_01I, you know, it didn't say like, yeah, thank you, you know, or whatever. It was so meant to be though, yeah.
SPEAKER_00And so I did. I I went home and got on the interwebs and applied right away. And within a couple days, I had a phone call and then an interview, and then I was hired.
SPEAKER_01And then it was and here I am, and then uh the story began that way. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So what about you,
A New Chat With Big Red Flags
SPEAKER_00Scarlett?
SPEAKER_01Did you um so I was like I was pretty lame since Sunday. I mean, I uh I've kind of held back on I haven't been on the dating apps. I just but good for you. I mean, really I uh that that whole thing I talked about the last episode, just like I I don't feel comfortable right now, but there was a gentleman. Well, actually, yeah, I know who knows if he's a gentleman. I love that let's just say I doubt he's a gentleman, he's probably a fucking dick. Like human that's male.
SPEAKER_00Okay, human that's male, we got it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so I uh he reached out to me on a platform because we had talked prior and he saw like a picture of me or something uh on this platform, and uh he had commented it. So I've just been chatting with him back and forth. Uh huge fucking red flag though. Oh lord. I knew it was coming. I mean, what is wrong with what is happening in the world? I I think I only attract red flags.
SPEAKER_00Okay, like I we gotta hear the red flags.
SPEAKER_01The red flag is he lives with his fucking parents. Ah I mean, but how but how old is he? He's like 30.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean 30.
SPEAKER_00You shouldn't be living with your fucking parents at 30 years old. Is he still a virgin?
SPEAKER_01Bye. I'm not breaking any seal on that. It might be fun. I I I hope he's not a fucking virgin. That's not good. Girl, the it'll be two a two thruster.
SPEAKER_00She said a two thruster. A two thruster. Okay, so yeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_01But they will think I'm like the tightest ever, probably. Absolutely. This bitch is tight. Yeah, fucking tight.
SPEAKER_00So he lives at home with how long you've been talking to him.
SPEAKER_01Oh, just like before. I don't even remember him from before. Like the like I don't remember him at all from before. That's the thing. And then I was like, how did we meet? And I'm like, oh, surprise, surprise. I think it was probably fucking tender. But anyway, uh he's just been chatting with me, and I'm like, one of the things he said was, I want to make dinner for you. And I was like, Oh man, yeah, I love food, I'll go for food. But then after a little bit, I was like, so we were chatting, and it was like, he told me that I'm really embarrassed about it, so I don't really talk about it, but I am living with my parents. And I'm like, how the fuck were you gonna make dinner for me? Was that were we gonna sit down with your mom and dad?
SPEAKER_00Where does he live? Yeah, yeah. Okay, well, well, nor out. Yeah, I had okay, okay. No, no, no, no, okay, not the same one. Okay, I was gonna be like, wait a minute, girl.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, oh yeah. Yeah, get out of there. Like, no, I'm getting out of there anyway. That was I so I've been just kind of like cutting communication off. Like, I don't I don't you know me. I I can't cut people completely off unless they leave me at a restaurant. But but he really matched cut me off there. But no, I just I'm not like yeah, I'm I don't know, I'll probably unfriend him or whatever. But I was just like, what the fuck? Yeah, I uh he says he has a bunch of college debt, and I'm like, then why are you a mechanic? But depending on what kind of mechanic he is, no making money. He's he went to like a diesel, yeah, yeah. No, like a diesel mechanic, they're fucking make bank, yeah. Okay, but he is he went to school for law enforcement. And I'm like, so what did you do not to be able to get a job? Because police academies are fucking begging, begging, begging for people to start recruiting people. I know it's gonna be like you're 18, you're going to police academy, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I don't know the military, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's a huge, huge fucking like that's interesting.
SPEAKER_00That's also a red flag.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, that's and I I had questions. Yeah, I asked questions. I said, Well, I actually know somebody in that in like two people I know in that arena, and it's fucking easy. I mean, if you went to school and got a law enforcement degree, so two things could be going on. Yeah, he's lying, yep, or he's a fucking like six per yeah, something's going on there. There's a reason why he's not getting into a play.
SPEAKER_00I guess the third, I guess the third thing though is too would be like he lost his passion for it along the way for some reason. So I guess there's three things out there. Bestie's right in if you have any other like ideas, but I don't know. I mean, those would be the three for me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. This one was he lying, he be lying, he be lying.
SPEAKER_00Well, we I've encountered several of those fucks. That's that's definitely kind of where I would bank on that. Is your lying, you're a perv.
SPEAKER_01You did something terrible in your life that yeah, I mean, yeah, no, you probably did.
SPEAKER_00That's why they're not hiring you, because and then the other one would be you lost your passion. So, I mean, I don't know. Anyways, I don't know.
SPEAKER_0130 year old, I know at 30 year years old. Do you lose a passion for anything except for like well, I mean, you can you can, yeah, absolutely, yeah. But I was thinking, like, I had questioned it, of course. I was like, dude, you can get a fucking police act, and then he said, No, they're not gonna hire me for this reason. And I I was like, red flag, uh, because I know people in the business, and I'm like, they're desperate, yeah, they're looking okay.
SPEAKER_00So is there anything else that you want to share this week? Should we go ahead and have we're we're gonna have a kind of short, short, long-ish episode. I guess we talked mainly about ourselves, but that's okay.
SPEAKER_01Um normally, it's usually the first hour.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we have a lot to share, but we have an event that we have to go to here in about 30 minutes. So yeah, we're gonna get into this week's episode.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, let's talk about okay.
When To Introduce Them To Kids
SPEAKER_01So I've been wanting to like a little chat about this because well, actually, you're kind of in the arena right now, and I haven't gone through a lot of it because I well, I was married for how many years? And so the topic we're gonna cover is how long do you wait for to introduce somebody to your friends and family? Yeah, if they are introduced and they don't like them, what do we do? How do we handle it? First impressions are everything, yeah, and that can go so far. And I think I mentioned it somewhere else on another episode that if my family sees something, then I'm I'm a little skittish, you know. Then I'm I'm a little thrown off because that's who I that I look to, you know, for guidance. I mean, not guidance, but that's I mean, if they don't like them, well, especially if your children don't like them. Oh, for sure. That's a thing right there.
SPEAKER_00That's hard. That's a hard one. And I mean, I have found well, I mean, there's a lot I can dive into this, but yeah, I have found that if your children or child does not like that person, it's a rarity if it will ever work out and succeed. I mean, I'm kind of a product of it too. My dad raised me, and I did not care for my stepmom from I mean, I liked her at first. I'm not gonna well, yeah, no, I didn't. That's a lie. Yeah, I was jealous at first, obviously. Yeah, because you were number one with your dad. So I was jealous at first, and I was the biggest bitch you could ever see for sure. How old were you? Oh gosh, super young. I five, six. No, I think I was like eight or nine. That's a hard age, though. I I anyways, it's blurry. I don't know. I was young. Um, and so being the product of that and just being accepting as a child, you know. So I can only imagine what I put my dad through during that and her, whatever, but mainly my dad, you know. And so I look back on that and I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry ish. But yeah. But you know, with my daughter, you know, if she doesn't care for who I'm dating, at first, you know, I'm like, well, Tough Titty is like Tough Titty said that you don't know him.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. They gotta get to know him a bit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I mean, I don't know. It definitely that's there's been red flags in the past because of it. And like I said, I mean, in the end, it just doesn't ever work.
SPEAKER_01In the long-term situation.
SPEAKER_00No, because I mean, her happiness is above all, you know, happiness. Obviously, I want to be happy too, but she's my top priority. So oh, absolutely. So what is your take on?
SPEAKER_01Uh so I've only had one example of my children meeting somebody. That's the only example I can share because I I don't share anybody. I'm I even if I we've been on like five dates, I they don't meet this person. And it I have to feel that in my heart that it might last a long a longer time. Or so they only met one person, and my daughter only met him one time, and she was awkward. And I don't blame her. I mean, it was it's one of those things. You might my mom just left my dad, and uh it was probably the most, you know, it was hard for her. So she she didn't really, it was awkward the whole situation. But my son was quite a bit older than her, and he always treats people with respect and kindness, and so he he interacted with him more than my daughter, and he he he just didn't there was no connection, but this guy he did ask questions, he was very nice to them, he never said anything like I mean he asked out of pocket, yeah. Yeah, yeah, but I could tell like he wasn't gonna be going to track meets. Yeah, I mean, yeah, and I don't blame him because he never the reason why I dated him because he didn't want kids and yeah, you know, and he didn't ever want to be married. And I was like, Well, I'm the perfect person right here. I'm not having any more children, and absolutely not, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. So, like, I I definitely have gone a little fast at times with you know my daughter meeting the people that I'm with. And when I say that, it's like been a couple months, something like that. But I'm learning that I don't want I I don't want to introduce her that that soon, but I'm I'm kind of coming to that that fence right now with the current boyfriends because we'll be together three months at the end of this month. Not only that, but like I also want to meet like his side too. Yeah, you want to see his meet his people exactly and like I don't know, the feelings are are are growing. Yeah, and so I really care for him and care about him. So yeah, I I would be really curious to see like what these n I don't we're not in any kind of we want it to be organic things like that, but like I what's your scaredest thing?
SPEAKER_01Are you more scared that she won't like him or you more scared that it's just like he they don't he doesn't mesh with her? I mean, what'd you what is your fear there?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, all of it, everything. I mean, sure. Above, check, check, check, check. I get it, you know, and it just it it it it matters to me. I want her to be happy, I want him to be happy, I want me to be happy. Um, and so yeah, all everybody's feelings come into play, you know. It's a huge thing, it's not just something that you know anyone should take lightly, in my opinion. Sure. Um, especially if you see a future with somebody.
SPEAKER_01So you know if you do it too soon, then and the first impression goes bad, yes, then it it could be like detrimental to your relationship. And I I I've seen that like not in your relationship or anything, but like in my past, it's like yeah, first impressions, absolutely, they say it all. And so if that's the case, that you sometimes you don't recover from that.
SPEAKER_00No, so you I mean, absolutely, but yeah, I mean that's just kind of like and then as far as like I said, it kind of like just delves into like family friends. He's met my sister, he met my sister when we first started talking. Oh, okay. Um, I don't even know. Sometimes I'm just so ditzy, like I'm just like, well, we'll just go here and we'll just do this, like without even like thinking about like even thinking that this guy is even gonna be like a long-term thing. Yeah, you know what I mean. So, anyways, I guess stay tuned because uh we'll I guess we'll find out. Yeah, I'm getting really nervous over here, guys. I'm starting to sweat.
SPEAKER_01I'm sweating, I'm doing not introducing anybody to anybody. Starting to play over here, yeah. No, it and then it's like I've we've talked about this before because when do you like want them to be part of your social media? And I've said, I would love if somebody I cared about and I was into put me out there, yeah, but it in a certain time frame. I don't exactly I don't want somebody to be like first day, oh yeah, look at this hot and I'm out with it.
Soft Launch Versus Hard Launch Online
SPEAKER_01They wouldn't even say that. The term that was hard launch, soft launch.
SPEAKER_00That's what we were talking about.
SPEAKER_01Okay, oh yeah, let's rewind to that. No, it's okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Forward, yeah, it's okay because that's what you were kind of talking about just now.
SPEAKER_01So exactly. So a hard launch to me would be like, okay, everybody, you know, get it out there. I mean, this is my boyfriend.
SPEAKER_00Time out the first date. Yeah, they're like taking pictures, posting it immediately.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So a soft launch would be like you slowly introducing them to friends and family and social media and stuff. Like maybe okay, I have an example because this is kind of funny. Like, I think a soft launch to me, it would be like a post that's like you're holding hands with somebody, but they don't know who that fucker is. Okay, you know what I mean? Like, that's you're introducing. I'm in a relationship, but you don't know who the fuck it is. Guess who? Yeah, you can't say does that like make sense to me? Now I want to do that with a boyfriend. You should, yeah. Do like uh steal that? Yeah, absolutely. Take it, run with it. Cause that, yeah, it's cute. It's adorable.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm doing it.
SPEAKER_01Good.
SPEAKER_00Yes, okay. That'll be cute. That's a soft launch. Okay, yeah, soft launch. You know, I never really even thought about it like that, but I guess that is, you know, yeah. I mean, I've never I'm a very private person. We I've said this many, many times on the pod. So I'm definitely not one to run out there and be like, I'm in a relationship. Yeah. Um I mean, do you change your Facebook status? I did this time because I had several people that were trying to get my DMs. I was like, so but I didn't say who I was in the relationship with, I just said that I'm in a relationship. So, and I think, yeah, I don't know. But I mean, it things died down, thankfully.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, I forgot to tell you something.
The Blocked Ex Finds A Way
SPEAKER_01Tell me everything. We don't have time. Oh, is it long? No, tell me, tell us. You'll never guess who called me. Fuck face d how? How is that even fucking possible?
SPEAKER_00Yep. Did he call you at work? No, girl. He fucking listen, besties. So he fucking this man! I know. We so I was screening my calls and it came through. It was no color ID at first, and I was like, well, obviously, I'm not gonna answer that. And then it came through again and it said maybe Ivy. Maybe Ivy? Yeah, what the fuck does that mean? I know. So obviously I had to answer it. He's using so something, yes, and he's an IT guru, all that. He knows, he knows the roundabouts, yeah. Anyways, so I obviously answer it and I put it on mute right away. And we're me and my daughter were just sitting there like looking at each other. I was like, what the fuck is going on? Yeah, nothing. Silence in the background. Then all of a sudden I was getting ready to hang up and you could hear, hello. And I was like, Gross, unmute. I said, Who is this? And they said, This is DF. And I was like, Why are you calling me with no call right now? Did you get in touch with me, you fuck face? Because I'm he's blocked. I blocked him on everything. I know that's right. So this just knows the way around. Exactly. And so he's like, I just wanted to let you know that you were right about everything and whatever we had going on. Like, he owns his L own LLC now, and I'm like, Good for you. Congrats, fuckface, congrats, or so are you calling? Are you calling me just throw that? I didn't say any. I literally he just talked the entire time. I did not say a fucking word except at the very end. He said, So I really hope that yeah, we could still be friends or something. What is this dude's mental state?
SPEAKER_01Uh not well. I mean, needs is it like bordering on Scarlett's need therapy? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I told him, I said, listen, because I don't exactly that. I don't know his mental state. So I'm not gonna be mean to him. What's he gonna do fucking next? So I had to tread lightly because I I am scared at this point. I not scared. I was kind of nervous when he fucking called you and playing. So not like scared, scared, like, oh my god, but like nervous. Does that make sense? Like, I just it makes me feel uneasy. Maybe that's a better term. Yeah, but like stay away from dark alleys, yeah. So um, I told him, I said, you know, congrats on LLC. Good for you for getting the the ex-in-laws out. Yeah, sucks that I'm right all the time, but um, you know, sucks for you, fucker. It happens, and then I told him, I said, but as far as the friendship goes, I said, I told you, like, I am still gonna be in this place, and I just just this is where where I'm at right now. Nothing's changed. No, and so that's what I said, and I chose my words very carefully. Okay, I didn't want to be negative, yeah, ish, you know.
SPEAKER_01And you didn't want to like increase an aggressive behavior, exactly. You know, you don't know.
SPEAKER_00I agree, I agree with you. You handled it well. I I handled it to the best of my quick thinking was at that point in time. And my daughter was like, whatever she's I what the fuck is she what did she say? Uh oh, she can't just like word and things, and she's like, No, she was trying to sign some of it. Yeah, she's like, no, no, no, and I'm like, calm down, I got this. So yeah, it was it was weird. It was weird. Um I think that maybe we should try to maybe finish it somewhat when we come back. If you're okay with that, yeah, that's fine. Because I feel like we could have just a little bit more that we could oh gosh, if we're if we're sober enough.
SPEAKER_01So if not the outlook is uh questionable, yeah.
SPEAKER_00If not, we will definitely add some more to it.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, we can have a part two or something. We we really just come up with topics as we sit here.
SPEAKER_00Well, and that's the beauty of it, though. As we said, though, we just we it comes out on a whim. Uh-huh. We decide what we're gonna talk about, and we just go for it.
SPEAKER_01And we're most of the time off the fucking topic, and that's okay.
SPEAKER_00It don't matter.
SPEAKER_01I love it though, it's so fun.
SPEAKER_00And like that's why it's nothing in touch because literally nothing is off the table.
SPEAKER_01Because nothing is off the table, literally. Um so what is our new s our new saying?
SPEAKER_00Unfiltered, uncensored, unapologetic.
SPEAKER_01That is like gonna be on t-shirts. So if you want a t-shirt, you need to eat it. And if you want to see what they look like, go to Facebook, yeah, and uh avoid the A plus A guy. Boy, that was
Part Two Tease And Write In
SPEAKER_01a scarlet fuck up of no uh like I was so stupid in that, but I I couldn't like put a plus after an A. I don't know. Maybe I never got one.
SPEAKER_00Probably not. That's why she has that's what that's what her trauma is. She's got to feel the need to give everybody else an A plus. That's why she does their paper.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's exactly. That's what it is. I can tell. Well, part two, I uh because this is uh like a big subject, you know, soft launch, hard luck. And you know what? I like to include with that. Is he hard or is he softer?
SPEAKER_00We can interact with that too. So many ways, so many different ways. So, write into nothing untouched pod at gmail.com and tell us your stories. Tell us hard launch, soft launch, in-between launch, we got medium. Did your family like him?
SPEAKER_01Did they hate him? What'd you do? Did you break up with him? Did you stay with him for 10 years? And all the family was like, Yeah, you should have left him 10 years ago.
SPEAKER_00Tell us what you want, what you really, really want.
