Welcome To Nothing Untouched
SPEAKER_04Hey besties, you're listening to Nothing Untouched, the podcast where we overshare, laugh a lot, and talk dating, hookups, and heartbreak, and all the messy moments in between. Hi, I'm Ivy Noor. And I'm Scarlett May. Buckle up, besties. Nothing is off limits.
Meet Augie And Ant
SPEAKER_04How are we doing tonight? Hey, how's it going? Guess what? We got motherfucking guests. Oh, we have Augie and Ant from No Filter with Augie and Ant. Welcome, guys.
SPEAKER_03Double repeat, double repeat.
SPEAKER_04Do you guys actually use that as your title though?
SPEAKER_02I think so. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04There you go. Perfect. All right. Well, so we're gonna go ahead and get started.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, absolutely. So, so first things up is we want to know more about your pod, what it's about, what made you want to start, all the all the good things.
SPEAKER_04And what's the name mean?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04So
How No Filter Got Started
SPEAKER_04no filter. Ooh, that's kind of lat.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So um, I guess I'll take over from here. I know Anthony might might chime in on it a little bit. So I'll jump here. Yeah. So basically how we came up with it was kind of random. So we did a large loss at a pretty big building. Three, four stories, water loss, I guess you could say that you were working at. Yeah, that we were working at we got and kind of had technically sold a job and then got it, then worked there. So Aunt's dad actually worked there and helped us get the job. So basically, we went kind of walking around showing us, you know, the thank God for Aunt's Daddy.
SPEAKER_01Oh dad.
SPEAKER_06Can he get us jobs too?
SPEAKER_01Probably.
SPEAKER_06He sounds like the guy to go to. Not this location though.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he's a good old time student. Where are you guys out of?
SPEAKER_04You guys, Florida, right?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_04Do you mind sharing what part of Florida?
SPEAKER_02You don't have to, but I guess you could say Tampa.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Tampa location would be like the biggest well-known location.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we're I'm familiar with Tampa. I've been there.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I uh yeah, most definitely. I've been to Florida like 20 times. I have not.
SPEAKER_06This is a zivy. I've not been.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and by the way, this is Scarlet. I didn't introduce myself. All right. So continue. I we do interrupt quite a bit. Continue. You your dad, your daddy got you the job.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so he got us the job. So he was showing us around like kind of the upper floors where kind of nobody goes. And we saw a recording studio that the owner's daughter uses to record her albums because she's a singer, I guess.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Is she a famous one?
SPEAKER_03Trust me, I said the same thing too when I first saw the studio. I'm like, this is kind of low-key sus because they had like a double screen on both sides. Like, what's really going on in here? What's actually going on here happening? Behind closed doors.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so daddy actually has a daddy. So there is a real there is a daddy in your whole situation. JK, okay.
SPEAKER_02Two daddies. Two daddies.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. Let's go. All right. So there's a recording studio upstairs from a famous singer. We're not not not famous.
SPEAKER_02I don't think she's famous. She almost made it.
SPEAKER_03I think I think she almost made it. I don't know the real story. She ended up getting sick, I guess, and then kind of stopped everything.
SPEAKER_01Oh, she's famous.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Do you guys know her personally? No. No, my father kind of does. Okay. Yeah. Standpoint. Well, daddy probably knows her. Okay.
SPEAKER_06So is that uh is that where you guys record at then? I mean, I guess, okay, sorry, we're we're interrupting quite a bit. So continue on with the story then. So there was a recording studio, almost famous girl. Daddy knew her a little bit. Go. Right, right.
SPEAKER_03So that's pretty much what enlighten it. And that's where you guys record. No. We want to.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03We want to.
SPEAKER_02So it I love that.
SPEAKER_06It hitched an idea though, somehow, some way, and it sparked something between you guys.
SPEAKER_04When you saw this recording studio, you guys were like, let's get a podcast going. Let's get in there.
SPEAKER_06We saw those screens.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I know like we can make this happen, except for not in this room yet.
SPEAKER_03Right. That was the dream. I love that. No, I fuck you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's very good. We're jealous because that's our dream goal is to have a fucking studio.
SPEAKER_04We need a fucking studio because a lot of shit happens around everywhere. Um, so you guys record at Augie's house?
SPEAKER_02So we started, so we started from like a work building, basically almost like an office, but we couldn't really style it or anything like we wanted it. But then we moved to an another office, and then we went to my house, and then we're like, we lived like 20 minutes away from each other. So we're like, hey, we need to find something that we can record from my house and his house at the same time. Oh, so you guys aren't in the same room. No.
SPEAKER_04Oh, see, Scarlet, me and me and I that's what I understood though, too. Like at the time. We just didn't have time to talk.
SPEAKER_06No, you thought they were in the same room.
SPEAKER_04I did. Yeah. I yeah.
SPEAKER_03And so are you guys in the same room?
SPEAKER_04Yes, we do. Uh, it's the best way for us to connect with each other because we literally stare at each other. Yeah. And well, I and we can vibe off each other when we're in the same room.
SPEAKER_06But I mean, we also work together.
Recording Setups And Real Chemistry
SPEAKER_06I mean, so there's fun facts about it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, there's that connection.
SPEAKER_04So, how did you guys come up with the name? No film. What's that mean? Like for you guys.
SPEAKER_02I think Ant can answer that better.
SPEAKER_03So the no filter part just came from a lot of our phone call conversations that we have from when we're on the job or when he's calling me just because we're pretty close. We've been we've been homies for about what six, six, seven years now.
SPEAKER_02Five, five, six, seven years, something like that.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Would you say you're besties?
SPEAKER_03I would say we're besties. Oh, almost brothers.
SPEAKER_04Okay, all right. Love that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So it just ended up like how we talk to each other. We always low key either talking shit about an employee or just anyone randomly so we're just like, dude, let's just be like all of them.
SPEAKER_06Because you have you you you can like my they're like-minded right there, right? So you can balance your troubles and your situations off of day-to-day life, which is really nice.
SPEAKER_04Since he only lives 20 minutes away, I I do suggest you guys getting in the same room because it does make a difference in the whole vibe of everything for Rio.
SPEAKER_06But it it's wild because when you said 20 minutes away, I literally live 20 minutes away from the house. I know it's too much. So we're not going to be able to do that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, tell us the the the crazy thing about that is that he was coming to my house, right? And we really couldn't, we we didn't feel a natural, a natural talk between each other.
SPEAKER_04Oh so you guys had the opposite situation. Okay. Okay, that must be the dude perspective.
SPEAKER_03I probably think it was daddy. We were it wasn't like the legit vibe we were low-key getting from like our awkward.
SPEAKER_04Was it just awkward you guys looking at each other? Staring each other in the eyes.
SPEAKER_03They were like probably probably it was our very first time doing everything with each other, so I think it just was the first time doing everything with each other.
SPEAKER_04What is everything? I need to know where are we going with this, boys? So that's I think this this was where we're boys don't cry situation.
SPEAKER_03This is where we were trying to make it big on it. Trying to do more videos and everything where we were trying to do the video situation, Jerry.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Are you guys
Marriage And Kids From The Guys
SPEAKER_03face-to-face?
SPEAKER_04Okay, so are you either one of you in a relationship or dating, married?
SPEAKER_03Yep, we're both all married with kids.
SPEAKER_06Okay, now how many? Okay, so Augie, how many kids do you have?
SPEAKER_03I got three.
SPEAKER_06Okay, and how many kids do you have?
SPEAKER_03I got one.
SPEAKER_06Okay, congratulations. Are you guys still having kids?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_06What can we so Ant is he's got one, you've got three, Augie. So can I ask though? So Augie, you are married. How long have you been married?
SPEAKER_0219 years.
SPEAKER_06Damn. Wow. Can I ask? Can I ask how old you are?
SPEAKER_0239.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so I'm 40, I'll be 42 this year. And I'll be, I'll be something.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. I'll be an age.
SPEAKER_03So be an age that no one will be able to do it.
SPEAKER_04I'm actually, yeah, I'll be 46. And yeah, no, I just don't like saying ages, I guess.
SPEAKER_02You're still young. Yeah, absolutely. So old nowadays.
SPEAKER_06So exactly. So, and okay, so let's start with you then. So you're married. Yes. Let's end with you. So sorry, I don't know why I said started. All right, okay. So how long have you been married?
SPEAKER_03For about almost as long as him, about 20, 21 years.
SPEAKER_06Um, okay. So how old are you?
SPEAKER_03I'm 34. Is it 34 or 30? You got married young.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. I love that. I love this. So let's ask this question. Are your wives hot pieces of ass?
SPEAKER_02I think so. I think so.
SPEAKER_04How are they cool with you guys coming on with us? Did you mention it? Okay, I'm just making sure because I want the wives to be on though. Oh, now I like need their fucking perspective. I do. I want that.
SPEAKER_03I would love to see where they're at. I would want to be on the podcast.
SPEAKER_06Listen, okay. If you yeah, if you want him to like talk shit about you, get you on it, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like you could low key talking. Mom, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_06Is she in there?
SPEAKER_03She is. She's all right.
SPEAKER_06Let's let's hear from you. What's her name? I want to hear it. Get her in here, mommy.
SPEAKER_03You want to be in a part of the podcast, real quick? She's like, Yes, you really, yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, let's go. Like, get her in here. What's her name?
SPEAKER_03Oh, her name is Kayla. Kayla, Kayla.
SPEAKER_04That's good. That's a pretty name. Augie, what about your relationship? How does that what's that night dynamic?
SPEAKER_02I mean, it's it's pretty nice.
SPEAKER_04Does she like your podcast? Does she is she okay?
SPEAKER_02She don't listen to it.
SPEAKER_04What at all?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, at all. I mean, she tried, but like she she's like, what is it called?
SPEAKER_04We can hear you, Aunt.
SPEAKER_02She doesn't like to hear my voice. She hears it when I talk to her all day, but she doesn't want to hear it again.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Damn that. I I want to hear from your voice. 19 years of marriage will get you right. She's there. I've had enough of you. Like not want to hear your motherfucking voice ever again coming through headphones. Get out of here. I fucking love it. I do too. I do want her to listen to this pod though, because she needs to be a good one. You know, you're making your day debut right here.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Well, not only that, but like she can come on and talk girl talk with us.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, for
Kayla Joins And Keeps It Real
SPEAKER_04real.
SPEAKER_06Say hello. What's up?
SPEAKER_04Hello. Hi, uh, is this Clay? Yeah. Hey, how are you? Okay, so me and we we say the same questions. I this is Scarlett. This is Ivy. Okay. We we kind of talk over each other sometimes. How are you tonight? Oh, I'm good. How are you guys?
SPEAKER_06Good.
SPEAKER_04Is so is Anna good in bed?
SPEAKER_06Yes.
SPEAKER_04Okay. All right. What's your favorite position? I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Oh, you guys have been married for 20. Okay, so okay, so you guys have been married for like what, 21, 22 years? Is that what Aunt said?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we've been together that long.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so cool. So then how do you how do you keep it spicy art going in the bedroom?
SPEAKER_00Honestly, it's more than just like a physical thing, it's more like an emotional kind of connection. Yeah, I'd hope so.
SPEAKER_04I mean, you can't keep the physical stuff going for 21 years. I mean, for real. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That was like the whole thing.
SPEAKER_04Somebody gets a beer belly, somebody doesn't put going to the gym. I mean, that's true. Okay. So you're you have a great emotional connection, correct?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we do.
SPEAKER_04I love that. Perfect.
SPEAKER_06I love that. Well, it was so nice talking to you, and then maybe we can connect later in life. Yeah. See what happens. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Okay, that wasn't her hitting on you, I swear. Well, it might have been. It might have been. She she goes both ways. She's like, Sorry's getting. So we talking a third here, guys. Uh I'm going to Florida soon. Now, let's go.
SPEAKER_01Come by. Come by.
SPEAKER_06Just kidding. So, do you guys do you guys have closed relationships, open relationships? Like, what is that like with you guys?
SPEAKER_02Mine for sure is closed.
SPEAKER_06Okay. That's how I operate as well. Augie. Oh, it's Augie and so I'm Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's definitely like a closed one.
SPEAKER_06Okay, perfect. Awesome. Nice. Okay. So
Deep Diving Before You Date
SPEAKER_06we're gonna go, we're gonna go right into our episode. We're gonna go into the topic for today. Diving into a person prior to dating.
SPEAKER_04So this might be hard for you guys to chime in on because when you guys got married back in the day in the 1800s.
SPEAKER_01Back in the days, in the 1900s.
SPEAKER_041900s. Um, you guys didn't have dating sites. You guys didn't have what we experience now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, how is it?
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. Yeah. Well, it's motherfucking awful.
SPEAKER_06So we just the reason that we're going into this though is Scarlett is gonna share with you guys a situation that she had. Um, we need to put this out there not only for I guess. Motherfucking blast that guy. Well, correct. But also to just so you guys know how bad it really truly is out here and for our listeners, please chime in and let us know if you have this situation and need help in any kind of way because that can kind of make you go into a situation you might not be able to pull yourself out if you don't have the support.
SPEAKER_04So yeah. So this this happened to me over the weekend, and that's why we're doing a deep diving into someone prior to dating them. And when I we say deep dive, we mean socials accounts, right? Basically everything.
SPEAKER_03Like how far, how far are you gonna go into trying to figure out who we're gonna do? Exactly. Yeah, and so we need you guys to claim in in any kind of way that you can.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. While Scarla is telling her story, we would love that.
SPEAKER_04Okay. We did cover um a little about we did an episode in season one about our safety before we go on a date. And one of them is like, we might not delve like we we should, but we do look up maybe or quartz.com, possibly. Well, there's only three that we didn't know about.
SPEAKER_01Sounds good.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because you don't really know the person on the other side of the phone. You don't know who you're fucking talking to, truly. You could be talking to a woman that's in her 80s. I mean, not likely, but catfish. Yeah, there's fucking catfish. So I had this come up on my Facebook. Do you guys have Facebook?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_04So I had this come up on my feed. It was, are you dating this guy? And it has different areas of where, like, you're like, let's say, yeah, where like let's say yours is Tampa, and then there's you guys have that too.
SPEAKER_03I saw something similar to it while you guys are talking about this.
SPEAKER_04I had to you're not on there, right?
SPEAKER_03No, that's what I'd be like, oh I know what I got on here, bro.
SPEAKER_04You were gonna look now. Yeah, I know. I'm gonna be deep diving on you now. So anyway, I just I got this feeling. This is I just had a feeling, and I was like, oh man, I'm gonna look and see if my ex-boyfriend is on there. And I did some deep dive, and I the reason why I wanted to look it up, I was just curious, but I had like a feeling. And we tried to remain friends after we broke up, and so I found him on there. Yeah, oh yeah. He was in he was listed in this group not once, but twice. And not not a single thing was said good about him, not a single thing. Now, did you notice any of those like red flags prior to those great question because I okay, so I was in a marriage for 11 years and I got divorced. And so I was new, new, new to dating. And so I hopped on Tinder. Why not? Let's see what's out there. And we we clicked like within the first two weeks, and I so I really was new to the dating scene altogether, so I really didn't know what the fuck I was doing. Not only that, but he was quite a bit younger than me. I don't know. Uh yeah, these young guys, they like a good coup. He was uh like 15 years younger than me, so that should have been my first inclination. But anyway, no, there were some red flags. He asked if there were some red flags that I should have seen.
SPEAKER_06Gotcha. Sorry, I had to get up for a second, so sorry, I'm back.
SPEAKER_04So at first I didn't notice any red flags, but as the relationship progressed, I started noticing things and I started to get, but you know what? He's a fucking narcissist. Yes, and he would be like, Oh, I can't believe I I didn't think you were like this.
SPEAKER_06Yes, I didn't think you'd be jealous like when she called him out on things, like this is like his response back to her.
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, so he put it back on me. And I'm I'm a person that I take everything and soak it up and I she's the people pleaser.
SPEAKER_06We our listeners know that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and I try and I want to make everybody happy. So I'm like, oh wait, is that making you uncomfortable? Okay, well, it's it's not you, it's it's me. Yeah, yeah, no, for real. He's he he's skilled at it. So anyway, he he came up on there
When A Facebook Group Warns You
SPEAKER_04twice. Why during the time frame that I was dating him? And these bitches were like, don't get out of there, run. Terrible, terrible things, not a single nice thing.
SPEAKER_03They're good, they're good.
SPEAKER_02I don't see any what were some of the red flags? What were some of them?
SPEAKER_04So one of them, the first comment was narcissist. This dude.
SPEAKER_06So I think he's asking you though, like, what were the red flags that you saw? Oh, that I saw. I'm wrong, let me know. Okay.
SPEAKER_02No, no, it it that is, but like, did it did it match up like automatically? Like, was it seen once he started acting like that?
SPEAKER_06So I'll let her answer, but then I also just pulled up the comments and stuff.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so it did, it did, but it didn't. So I I guess I didn't realize the whole red flag thing until I started dating him and he was younger, and I didn't I I don't know. I was I was infatuated with this dude because it was like my what do you call it? I just had gotten out of a divorce.
SPEAKER_06Or out of divorce, and this was a big thing. It was my fucking breakdown. Yeah, exactly. Well, this was your first relationship that you actually got into. Yeah, I mean, there was some things prior, but anyways, it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so this is like your first thing that was my was my first like actual relationship.
SPEAKER_06Like I did not really know Scarlett when she was in this relationship, mind you. So I don't know like a lot of like her hardships that she was going through with those, so I couldn't like really I guess comment on that. Yeah, but I do know her it her trials and tribute tribulations to this day.
SPEAKER_04My trust issues over it. So throughout the relationship, he did start getting like he would call less, and then oh man, this is uh this is the line. You boys just better never use it. Um I have you yeah, I'm just really busy. I'm just really busy. Oh yeah, no, I know I'm just like for real. You guys have a useful. You would use this and I would be like, oh, you're so busy.
SPEAKER_06So can I ask you then? So let's lead off on that real quick. So then why do that instead of in instead of just being okay? So okay, let me go back. So do you use this excuse when you were younger or didn't know any better? I'm going to presume because now you guys have been in these long-term relationships, right?
SPEAKER_01Right, right.
SPEAKER_06So this is like back in the day when you guys were very young. And so let's go back on that then. So, how young were you, and until that point did you stop using that excuse? I'll go with Augie first.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so uh I guess you the only time I would I would use that I'm busy. I not if I was busy, if I was trying to not ghost, but at the same time, you know, kind of keeping the picture to see where it goes.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so but the thing of it is though, that I mean that's that's kind of bullshit because the I'm busy, like everybody's on their goddamn phones anymore. That's just how it, that's just how it is. And I'm not saying anything against you, but even God. So I'm trying to like think back to the case.
SPEAKER_04Another thing, like he anytime he had his phone with me, he'd fucking answer it. But then I mean, I'd call him, he's like, I didn't hear my phone. I'm like, you motherfucker. I'd see you answer every phone call you get. So I it took me a while, but of course I clued in and you know, then I just wanted to see if anybody else, you know. Yeah, and guess what? Yeah, they said That's how it was. Yeah. They're like, this guy's a total loser.
SPEAKER_06So what okay, so then why didn't you okay, so you just wanted to like lead them by a little like thread, like by a little chain just in case something better didn't come along.
SPEAKER_02No, to see how to see how how much you like me, to see Oh, you were trying to get her perspective? Yeah. So like if if I say, Oh, I'm busy, and then you text me later, you know, wondering what I'm doing again.
SPEAKER_04Oh, your bread crumb crumber? Even like breadcrumbs, or you're just testing her, like right.
SPEAKER_02I want to see how interested.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_06So uh Lindsay could even dive into that one, but anyways, we won't right now because we don't have the time. So Anthony, so then what is your
Breadcrumbing With The Im Busy Line
SPEAKER_06what was your worst comeback when somebody wanted your attention?
SPEAKER_03I would I'm normally the person I would always ghost. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04Oh Ivy is too. Ivy is too, she's a ghoster.
SPEAKER_03I'm definitely I'm definitely the type of person's like, oh, this definitely feels like a really weird, awkward situation to get myself into. I should have never got myself into it. You know what? I'm gonna just stage left. Maybe they won't even poke with me afterwards.
SPEAKER_06Exactly. No, I was the same way, yeah. And then actually getting to be friends with Scarlett and her having that same situation happened to her, and ultimately, like my conversations, her conversations crack me up.
SPEAKER_04She when she talks on dating sites, they're like, What what are you doing? She's like, Airplane emoji, smile emoji. She does all these weird things. I'm like, and you still get guys to like keep coming after you. I don't even know. I actually respond.
SPEAKER_03I just thought about it. I'm sorry, but no, go ahead. Cause I have no idea how that how the outside world works right now. Like the apps, like the only thing I know for sure is like Tinder, what else? Uh well, they say Tinder is the hookup app.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Well, that was plenty of fish back in the day, but anyways, yeah. Uh no format time. No, I'm telling you right now, it is it is absolutely brutal out. It's brutal.
SPEAKER_04You have to sift through a motherfucking ton of people before you find a decent human.
SPEAKER_06So many people tell us you'll find it in your friend group. You'll just wait. You find it when you're not looking. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04This is my sister's line.
SPEAKER_03And how often is it working?
SPEAKER_04Well, so far, not good. I mean, we're both still single.
SPEAKER_06Well, I haven't been looking for how long now. Yeah. I mean, truly.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I I give up after like I I've got I've been walking this guy fucking just walked out, uh left me at a restaurant, and I'm like, what the fuck? Oh, by the way.
SPEAKER_03So was that we was that for you or was that because of like a situation he didn't like?
SPEAKER_04I that's what I don't know because he hadn't ghosted me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so he went to the bathroom and never came back. Yes, he went, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well no, I went to the bathroom and went to the bathroom and he never came back. I had drove myself there, so it wasn't like I was stranded, but that motherfucker. And guess what? Guess what I guess what, boys? This may not come as a shock. I found him on Are You Dating This Guy? Yeah, yep. And guess what? He was a fucking wife beater. Oh.
SPEAKER_01Oh, God. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So I dodged a bullet. Yeah. Well, regardless of the thing. I know I dodged a bullet anyways, but it still motherfucking hurt my feelings. And so, yeah, we've just had some bad.
SPEAKER_03So it sounds like it sucks for you guys right now.
SPEAKER_06It does, but it doesn't. When we get time to each other, like we have a really good time. I mean, that's that's where it's at.
SPEAKER_04We still like you guys for other services. Don't worry, don't you worry. Meal, okay. Right, yeah, we do that.
SPEAKER_03We did that. Sometimes I'm throwing out here. Sometimes you can't be vegan all the time. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I'm no, I guess if I had an aunt out there with every position works great.
SPEAKER_06I know she loves there's nothing that I can say that I don't like. I know you just love you.
SPEAKER_04You are so getting laid too.
SPEAKER_06If she wasn't, if you weren't in the room, I guarantee you she had some tea on you. And I that's what I want. I want the tea.
SPEAKER_04You are so getting laid. She's like, that just got me going.
SPEAKER_03She sent me a text message like two minutes later talking about you want fuck.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_04Did she really?
SPEAKER_03I love that.
SPEAKER_06Fuck yes. I love it. That's awesome. I love that. That's so amazing. That's a good merit right there. Absolutely. Okay. So moving along here. Absolutely. Okay. Enough about you guys. God, Anne. Let's keep going. Enough about uh Scarlet. All right.
SPEAKER_02Ivy, why don't you chime in?
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. No, it's ask away. No, it's perfectly fine. Augie had a question for us. Oh, go ahead.
SPEAKER_02So, do y'all have red flags yourselves that y'all guys see?
SPEAKER_04Mm-hmm. We have what? I didn't hear that. I'm sorry, we didn't.
SPEAKER_02Do y'all guys have your own red flags? Oh. Yeah, we did.
SPEAKER_04We did several episodes about it. Yeah.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_02For real. You're gonna have to go back and listen to it.
SPEAKER_04You will. It actually is titled Red Flags. Yeah. And then I think it there was a continued red flags. Red flags and green flags. We threw green flags in there as well.
SPEAKER_06But I mean, mainly he's asking though, because I mean, so if you listen to the episode with Lindsay, the psych psychologist on there, it kind of delves into unfortunately like me and Scarlett's like what we think that we're looking for, but then based on like what we're talking about, we're not looking for. So that's obviously a huge red flag. So I mean, absolutely. We we definitely have red flags. We all human nature has red flags and green flags, that's it. To a certain individual. No, 100%. Yeah. And so, but that's what I was just getting into. Like, it depends on like what you're comfortable as a human being and as the single person, like being okay with said red flags. Exactly. So I mean, that's that's where that's at. So do you guys have red flags? I want to know. I want to know now. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I know I have a bunch of red flags. Like my wife has my red flags. My thing is always. Well, let me ask her, hey, what's one of my red flags? Like a major one. How fast I snap on people.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so you're not patient.
SPEAKER_03I'm not. No, I'm not.
SPEAKER_06This is Ant, right?
Dating App Horror Stories And Safety
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Okay. You how quickly you are to get angry. So no patience. No patience. No patience. Oh boy, that would be good. Oh, my ex-husband. It was one of the one of the things he would he had zero patience for just about anything.
SPEAKER_06So is there anything else, Ant, out there that you know about a red flag that you have?
SPEAKER_04Or just a care or a personality trait that people don't like.
SPEAKER_06So yeah, not so attractive. Yeah. You think about it, Augie. Augie, so I want to know. So red flag for you. I mean, a personality trait nobody likes.
SPEAKER_02So I know my wife told me that she doesn't like that I'm uh a homebody.
SPEAKER_04Homebody, yes. Okay. Oh, you don't like to go out. Okay.
SPEAKER_02No, I don't.
SPEAKER_04So does she like to? Does she go out with her friends and stuff?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_04She can come hang out with us. Does she do you mind that she goes out and does stuff?
SPEAKER_02I don't I rather her go out and have fun. I had my fun when I was younger. I rather have her to go have her fun now.
SPEAKER_04I love that. Well, yeah, but she does want company sometimes. I mean Well, and she wants to have you by her side.
SPEAKER_06Always wanted to eat just with her girlfriends. What did you say? Augie.
SPEAKER_02I told her to call her sister.
SPEAKER_06Oh, nice. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's a red flag. That's a fucking red flag right there. Call sister. Okay. All right. Go call your sister. I don't want to do anything. Okay. All right. All right. So do you stay home with the three children?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Nice. So actually, Augie is like, I don't want to pay the sitter to for us to hang out.
SPEAKER_04So do you guys do either one of you still do date nights?
SPEAKER_02Yes. So we do do date nights.
SPEAKER_04Doo-doo.
SPEAKER_06Don't say doo-doo ever again. No, just kidding. That's out. That's out.
SPEAKER_02Doo doo.
SPEAKER_06Doo-doo. Okay, so date night. So do you guys like have a specific like day of the month? Is it random?
SPEAKER_02Very random. It's spontaneous.
SPEAKER_06Okay. Nice. I love that.
SPEAKER_03Like and yeah, it's very random because it's just with like how we live our life and with our kids. It's definitely like it's definitely not going to be planned out. So it's just like, hey, we have time right now. You want to just go and jump on and do a date, I guess.
SPEAKER_04No. So basically, you guys can just stop every you know get home from work feeling frisky, want to go out to dinner, start the the pre-gaming or the foreplay out of dinner. Yeah. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01And I'm like, anything. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So this is what I remember about being when I was married is like those sometimes they made it great. Sometimes we just fucking fought.
SPEAKER_06So it was I mean, either way, honestly, if you think of it like this, if you need a fight, there's a reason you need to fight. If it has to be away from the kids in that kind of situation, then it is. So I mean, that's my outtake. I don't know. I've been divorced for many, many years and single for even longer.
SPEAKER_04But, anyways, there is nothing wrong with her, I swear. Nothing wrong with either one of us. We're perfect anymore. A little picky.
SPEAKER_02Just a little picky, not a big picky.
SPEAKER_04You know, pickiness, I don't think we're picky. We're we're like, well, lit as Dr. Lindsay, I would say. We uh I guess I am a little choosy, but I don't want to spend, I wanna, my next person will be my forever person. I so I I want to be a little choosy, right?
SPEAKER_03And I you're the one that was like that just came off of it, right? So I don't think you want to be in that situation that you are already in with another person and exactly exactly. Why would you do that stuff? Why would you do that again?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and he ruined my confidence, my trust, not just him personally, but this whole thing. The ever just everything over like dating period on these dating sites, or even just dating at all. It's just kind of like burned me out.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I mean, so don't even like disguise it as that. I mean, because obviously yours, your scars are obviously very apparent and very new. Yeah. The thing of it is though, like dating and repetition as well is still the same situation, the same scenario. And you get into these relationships that you think these I dare I say men are ready to have. Women do the same shit.
SPEAKER_04You ghost. I mean, women do the same thing.
SPEAKER_06But dare I say though, when you say when you're ready to have that relationship, then you just you you're not you're not emotionally available and you're not emotionally, or sorry, not even emotionally, but like just well rounded and just making sure that you have the same, I guess, attributes that everybody else in the relationship can bring to the table or eventually have to bring to the table. I mean that's huge for both of our worlds, absolutely. And so that's where we're running into the issue.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, no, for real, Ivy. Like we have like I I question everything when I when I do start talking to somebody,
Owning Red Flags And Making Date Nights
SPEAKER_04and I'm not a ghoster. I'll tell you right now, I what I do is if this is actually what I've done before. I met a guy, he traveled an hour and a half to meet me. And yeah. So he did, yeah, no, and I wasn't sure. We FaceTime before he came down, and I was like kind of questioning the tooth guy. Not the tooth, his no, his teeth. No, this was a guy he was running for some kind of like political thing. He was actually, anyway, I kind of thought, oh man, something's not right there. But I was like, I gotta get out there, I gotta go on a date because I'm very fucking choosy sometimes. So I did, and I was like, nope, nope, not for me, no. And I he was on his way home and I texted him and I said, I'm sorry. Well, the date had to end because my son act this was true. My son actually did break down and needed help. Yeah, but I would have left the date regardless. And I had said on his way home, I said, Hey, you're just this isn't there was no connection. I I probably probably won't, I probably won't ever have a second date. But I was honest, I wanted him to know that that wasn't gonna happen, just so he would not text me and think that we could keep going out or something. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, that that kind of that's kind of good to be like that. My thing was is that I didn't want to hurt nobody, I didn't want to hear nobody cry or yeah, but ghosting, how do you know like if ghosting ghosting actually does hurt feelings?
SPEAKER_04Right, but you don't have to hear it.
SPEAKER_02But I can't see it.
SPEAKER_04Exactly.
SPEAKER_03I was about to just say, like, like I didn't know you. No, I I know yeah, yeah. No, this is where I'm coming. Yeah, I know I get it. What you don't know originally, so yeah, and it's just like I didn't put enough effort or emotion into it at the beginning, so it's just like I'm sorry, but I do see I do see your guys' like part of it where it is fucked up, you know what I mean? Because you I you don't know how much that other person put the emotion into it as well, too. So it's just like I get it, but well, that's just like that's that human nature is.
SPEAKER_06Here's the thing though, like I this is this is Ivy, and I always I ghost before they can ghost me. Like if I if I'm just like a pre-ghost. Yeah, I'm a pre. I'm a pre I'm a I'm a pre-ghost. Fuck off, I'm pre-ghosting. Like, if I if I don't even like feel the energy, if I don't feel anything, like we're we're done before he even started. Yeah, and yeah, I'm not even gonna talk to you anymore. But I mean, I have obviously, you know, yeah, Scarlett, that I've I've gone out with these people, and I did this last time though, per Scarlet though. I did let him know it took me a day and a half. Yeah, it did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It took me a day and a half, and I was like, just let him know that you're no not interested. I'm like, I it's not gonna, and it was so weird typing out the words because I'm just so used to being like, Hey bitch. Bye, motherfucker. No, thank you. Thank you. Come again, but don't come again so much.
SPEAKER_01Oh wow.
SPEAKER_03So so with that being said, how do you feel the vibes on someone? Like, how do you go from like, hey, I want to meet you from like texting? And then when you actually see this person, like, you know how you scope them out for a good minute. How do you how do you figure it out? Like, no, you know what, this guy's not yeah, so how does that yeah, I can address this.
SPEAKER_04So for me, uh basically, if if I've only talked to them on a dating app, the well, the first thing you see, the first thing is pictures. Okay, and I have a bad habit of going off the pictures, whether I swipe right or left. Unfortunately, it's not it's not something I'm proud of, but that's what I do. Anyway, I am very particular about a smile, I'm like particular about certain things. But right, so I I literally that's my first thing. And then I if I start chatting with them and they are funny, they get me. We have banter back and forth. That's where I'm like,
How We Decide If Vibes Are Real
SPEAKER_04okay, maybe he'll ask me out. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06So you you obviously connect on a very emotional level, but like second to what they look like.
SPEAKER_04I wouldn't even click on them. Exactly. Unless I'm really drunk. Sometimes I click on really weird people. I'm like, who, what? Too many ideas, too many glasses of wine on that one. I'm like, cut off the Chardonnay, okay?
SPEAKER_06Okay. So, like, what is your right what is your feedback on that then? Like, what are you what are you thinking? Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04Let's go.
SPEAKER_02Um, so so to tell you the truth, oh the I wouldn't be looking for a long time relationship on Tinder.
SPEAKER_04Well, it's not just Tinder, there's a million dating ads. Yeah, duh. I'll go to church. So there's Facebook dating. Where's Hinge?
SPEAKER_06Where would you be looking for a long-term relationship?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, let's say you got a divorce next month and you're looking to get like another start dating again. Oh, we were putting that out there. They're not getting it. I know. Oh, knock on some wood. Ooh. Okay, anyway.
SPEAKER_03Don't bring that bad GG over here.
SPEAKER_01I know.
SPEAKER_04Like, why are you saying that?
SPEAKER_03I take it back. I take it back.
SPEAKER_04Take it back, Scarlet. Take it back. I dam it. I don't want to, I don't wish that upon anybody. Anyway, so what would you if you go?
SPEAKER_06If you were single in our day and age, and you know, if you had nothing but, you know, dating sites and things like that, how would you go about meeting somebody organically?
SPEAKER_03Go for it. Organically, I love that word. So it'd always be like somewhere going out doing stuff and seeing if their vibes click while you're going there without trying to be creepy about it, which is kind of hard nowadays.
SPEAKER_04So do you guys approach women? I mean, back in the day, did you did you approach women that you like thought were cute or did you go up to like you were shy or anything?
SPEAKER_03I had the mindset. If they said no, they said no.
SPEAKER_04That was just like you you took that as an answer.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Here Augie's like, well, let me just uh see how she feels, really. Like let me see if I tell her I'm like going to Austria if she responds.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so so and okay, so not being creepy organically, okay. So can I I I'm so sorry. I I need to touch on that. So not being creepy because that's the issue. So, like, how did you focus on not being creepy? P.S. A dick pic is fucking creepy. Unsolicited.
SPEAKER_03Unsolicited dick picture. It's like, hey, hey, you want to see this? Yeah, that's creepy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, that's usually your first sign that the guy's not in it for a relationship. Oh no, duh. Um but you know, you keep them, you keep them in your your little back bank, bang, bank, bang.
SPEAKER_03You're gonna keep them on the back end just in case your little string just in thing.
SPEAKER_06I'm not gonna ghost you just yet. That dig fine. That's what I do, but it's fine. We're not gonna talk about me right now. We're going into it. Okay, all right. Sorry I interrupted.
SPEAKER_04I do that quite frequently.
SPEAKER_03No, it's just like that whole creepy scenario part would be where it's just like you can't randomly just say, hey, how's it going? Just to random, you know, females while you're at a bar because it's definitely awkward, I guess. You know what I mean? So that's why I said it was cool.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so and here I'm gonna get in there. Okay, you get in. I'm sorry, I'm I'm writing notes. Okay, so sorry. Here's the thing though. So we were just talking about this. We just based this on it was yeah, yeah, we just literally this episode, you know, so that you listen to it. Anyways, uh, so we literally were saying that men do not approach us.
SPEAKER_04They don't when we're out, I
Approaching Women Without Being Creepy
SPEAKER_04we're unapproachable, I guess. I don't know.
SPEAKER_06I and I said that we're not unapproachable.
SPEAKER_04I it's just I don't know the situation of why we're not so so the question it that comes up do you approach a woman if they're in a friend group? Is that still game for you? Or you're like, fuck no, her friends are too that'll be too crazy and I'm not doing nothing.
SPEAKER_06Okay, but if it's just two two friends out and about, two of us to approach one of them, dose or both of them.
SPEAKER_03No, I think it depends on how the other two are reacting. Like I notice like when we just kind of hang out and just going somewhere, you can always tell by your other friend on who might be a little bit more high strung than the other one. So if that other person is trying to talk to the quiet one, that loud one is definitely like what scare the other person away. And I've seen that happen like in my eyes and everything with a homie.
SPEAKER_04Okay, that kind of makes sense. Like, yeah, you're like one's approachable, but the other one fucking scares the shit out of you, so you should be like, you're like no, especially nowadays, anxiety is like high, high, high, high.
SPEAKER_03So it's just like people's anxiety is times 10.
SPEAKER_04So okay, so all right, I love this. So, question for you. If if me and Ivy were out based not on our looks, obviously, you haven't seen us.
SPEAKER_03No, the black screen is perfect. I love it.
SPEAKER_04What'd you say?
SPEAKER_03I was like, the black screen is perfect. I love it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, your wife is probably appreciative. Anyway, so when you guys are if you guys are out, let's say you go out and based off our personalities. Yeah. Based off me and Ivy, who do you feel like is approachable?
SPEAKER_02Both.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Well, we don't like that answer. That wasn't the answer I was going for here.
SPEAKER_02We basically have the same personality and you know sound really cool to talk to. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04All right. Well, that was a nice compliment. Thank you. Thank you. We definitely don't have I mean, we do, but we do. Okay, so here I I will clue you in on this, which our listeners already know. We have different tastes in men, completely different taste in men. Thank God. So when I Do branch out, like for one, we always have to check with each other and see like, do you know this guy? Are you sure that you haven't talked to this guy over here? Um we're gonna get something straight right here because we ain't are you sure we ain't doing on top of doing here. So even if you put a pink thing towards that man, I don't want him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so we won't get lucky then so yeah.
SPEAKER_04Well, I mean, I can't even remember what I was saying there, but no, we were just going off of that. So that's it. Yeah, so anyway, so we're both approachable. That's good. So what the fuck's the problem? So you guys feel like based off our personalities, we're approachable.
SPEAKER_01For sure.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, okay. Thank you. All right, I appreciate that. Who do you think that you would like more? Augie or Ant, answer the question based off of our personalities, even though Augie pretty much said we have the same personality.
SPEAKER_03So I would have to hear you guys like talk for like a good two minutes to figure that out.
SPEAKER_04So we haven't been doing that.
SPEAKER_02Both of you say Augie one time and say it kinda like uh uh sexual. Yeah, let's let's go with that.
SPEAKER_04Okay, oh Augie. What do you oh Augie? God damn Augie.
SPEAKER_03Augie. Wait, we're in the Siri one. He said he said one time.
SPEAKER_05No, but Ivy's like, fuck off, Augie.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so the first one for sure.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, well, she understood the assignment. I was like, I'm winning this, bitch. That's how it's gonna go.
SPEAKER_03I'm definitely going with Siri because that Siri voice was definitely right on.
SPEAKER_02That was Siri for sure.
SPEAKER_05Who? Which one? Ivy was Siri?
SPEAKER_02The second one, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Ivy came up. When I oh hold on, I'm gonna do it again. Okay, Augie.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that was not like the first one, right, boys. I know I feel that one was a little bit.
SPEAKER_03The first one killed it. Uh oh.
SPEAKER_04Well, we're gonna remember it.
SPEAKER_06We're gonna replay it. Yeah, we'll have to go back anyway. Yeah, so it's been a lot of fun with you guys. Yeah. Do you guys have any questions, feedback, anything that you want to say to us? Yeah, you guys have asked really great questions.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you guys have been a lot of fun, by the way.
SPEAKER_03I'm just I'm just chilling.
Church Advice McDonalds Origins And Plugs
SPEAKER_04Just chilling, all right.
SPEAKER_02I think the next time y'all guys go out and yeah, give us some fucking advice here.
SPEAKER_04Come on, throw it at us. Next time you go out, let us have it.
SPEAKER_02That's fine. If next time you go out, look less cute. No, no, no, no, no, don't do that. Go to the closest church on Sunday, sit in there and look cute.
SPEAKER_04Well, burn at the steak.
SPEAKER_02Oh gosh.
SPEAKER_04No, I'm kidding.
SPEAKER_02Well, you're just there for a man. You're just there for a man, that's it.
SPEAKER_06A church? So we sit in church. Okay, tell us. So we look little innocent and cute and a pew, and then what?
SPEAKER_02And then just let let God work his magic.
SPEAKER_04So I have to wear a sundress.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02Don't believe it.
SPEAKER_04I don't believe it.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so here's the kicker on that. I is that where you guys met you? Hold on. Now I have questions. Okay. So is it really religious? Is that where you guys met your wives?
SPEAKER_02No, I met mine at McDonald's.
SPEAKER_06Oh my god, Augie. But then you're saying to go to church. They're like Big Macs. Are you saying that we need church and Jesus in our lives? Thank you.
SPEAKER_02So basically, that's where I would go if my wife, me and my wife ever divorced knocking on wood, I would go to church.
SPEAKER_06I'm knocking on wood for you. Okay. Okay. Well, good luck with that one. If that's you guys super Are you guys, are you are Augie? Are you uh like what a religious person? No, not really, no. Super what the fuck is the word? I know what I'm thinking of right now. What are we going off about? Suspicious. Suspicious. Not suspicious, but superstitious. There we go. Holy shit, I long. Superstition.
SPEAKER_04I shipped my brain to Califragia acting. What was that? What is that? Come on. It's on uh Barry Poppins.
SPEAKER_06No, superstitious. Anyways, are you superstitious? Is that why you knock on wood?
SPEAKER_02No, no, no. It's I don't know. I just people do it, I guess.
SPEAKER_06Oh, we do it. We do it all the time. I'm very superstitious. Not orticious.
SPEAKER_02I walk under ladders. I break mirrors at, you know.
SPEAKER_04Okay. You break you're scared of broken mirrors?
SPEAKER_02No, no. So in no job, we break mirrors sometimes.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. Distraction.
SPEAKER_02Distraction scenario.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, daddy got you that job, so you're fuck this. I'm fucking this mirror right now.
SPEAKER_06So, Aunt, where would you meet your next bride to be if you ever knock on some wood, Aunt?
SPEAKER_03Uh man, I don't even know. Probably somewhere sketchy.
SPEAKER_04So, Aunt, are you religious?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_04So, not a church like Augie. Augie can get those fucking wholesome one wholesome ones. You're like, I'm going to a strip club. You know what? I'm not woman.
SPEAKER_06Sunday. Listen, Sunday coming off of a hangover. We're going to dress up in our best Sunday dresses, and we're going to church.
SPEAKER_04We're going to church, bitch.
SPEAKER_06And see what we can find. That could be a whole episode. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04We should do it. Yeah, we should. We're doing it.
SPEAKER_01Augie for sure. And then we're gonna we're gonna come back.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna go to Florida church and see what kind of what we can screen better than our churches right here.
SPEAKER_06But anyways, okay. Well, do you guys have any plugs? Yeah, plug your pod now.
SPEAKER_02Just really the the no filter podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcast.
SPEAKER_06Okay, perfect. Nice. I mean, do you guys have an email or anything like that that people can reach out to?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, how do your fans get in touch with you? So they can get in touch with me. How do they get in touch?
SPEAKER_06Oh, okay. Your email?
SPEAKER_02I am Augie10 at iCloud.com.
SPEAKER_06All right. All right, love it. And do you have a separate email that you want fans to reach out to you on?
SPEAKER_03No, we just share the same scenario.
SPEAKER_06Okay, beautiful. Nice. So for our besties out there, please continue to like, subscribe, and email us at nothing untouchedpod at gmail.com. And this is nothing untouched, and we love you all. Yeah, we love you, bitches.
