MORE Girls Next Door
MORE Girls Next Door is the podcast where we recap, review, and rehash the iconic Y2K reality series The Girls Next Door.
Each episode revisits life inside the gates of the Playboy Mansion as Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson navigate fame, friendship, and the surreal world surrounding Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.
But this isn’t just a nostalgic rewatch. From Playmates with rap sheets to behind-the-scenes disagreements the cameras never explained, MORE Girls Next Door digs deeper into the reality behind the reality show—examining the media narratives, public perceptions, and cultural moment that shaped one of the most recognizable series of the 2000s.
Along the way, we revisit forgotten Y2K pop-culture references, explore the mythology of the Playboy Mansion, and unpack what was really happening behind the glossy television fantasy.
Whether you watched The Girls Next Door when it first aired on E! in 2005 or are discovering the series for the first time, MORE Girls Next Door is your backstage pass to the stories, context, and cultural impact behind the show that defined a reality-TV era.

What's up everyone? It's your more girls next door host, Megan. I'm sitting here flipping through this massive coffee table book I bought earlier this year. Playboy The Complete Centerfolds 1953 to 2016. It's one of those gorgeous, heavy, can barely lift it with one-hand books, and every page is just wall-to-wall glossy centerfold history. And it got me thinking: if there are more fans out there like me, people who notice the details, who read between the lines, who actually have thoughts about what was going on, then maybe it's time to bring you into this. I'd love to have a guest host on a future episode or bonus segment. Someone who knows their stuff, who's comfortable analyzing, connecting dots, and having a little fun with it. Not just watching the show, but interpreting it. Because the truth is, more girls next door kind of snowballed. Like a lot of my projects, I jumped in headfirst and suddenly I had a fully branded, fully structured series on my hands before I even stopped to think twice. And now that we're getting close to launch, the excitement around where this could go, it's real. Of course, I'd love to talk to people with direct ties to the show. I mean, let's get some HBK and seven girlfriends up in here. But I don't want to leave the fans out of it because honestly, some of the most interesting takes come from people who watched it, lived through that era, and are now looking back with a completely different lens. So if you've got opinions, theories, or just that one take you know would spark a conversation, I want to hear from you. Head over to more girlsnextdoor.com, fill out the contact form, and tell me why you'd be the perfect guest. Let's get into more together.
