And now, a word with Mark Anthony, Pasadena's Wolf. Welcome back, you guys, to Office of the Day with Mark Anthony. Today is a really different notion, possibly controversial, but frankly, I don't care. I want to emphasize, and this is only a suggestion, but emphasize just becoming the best person you can be in uh the Lord's eyes. Be great. Be an honest, outgoing, loving, caring person. May the Lord be with you on this fourth. May the Lord always be with you, but not only that, may the Lord uh allow you to see your greatness and your kindness and your own uniqueness. But first you have to be willing to embrace that in your life. I know I'm not saying you have to do it now, or I'm not saying you have to go to church. I'm just saying to be open to praying on your own, in your own comfort, in your car, and uh start your relationship with God, not only because it's beneficial, but it'll help you bring the peace um amongst yourself. I there's so much always going on, and I think it's very easy to get lost in work and work-life balance and um lost in all the the craziness that's going on in the different uh parts of the world. And unfortunately, we're not able to help others until we can help ourselves. So as a strong suggestion, I would say really focus on becoming the best person you can and look at yourself as if God was looking at you. Not that you can we can comprehend that, but from what we can understand and do what you can to please not only yourself, but please the Lord. Remember, uh this as well as a whole whole controversial to begin with. But if you open yourself and look for God and look for peace and look for answers, you will find it. If you look for negative outcomes, if you're always thinking about how things can go wrong, if you're always worried, if you're always living your life in fear, there's only a certain couple outcomes that can come of that. You might get lucky in certain situations, but and more than likely you're gonna fail. So at least if you're gonna fail, fail forward. Fail with the option of, okay, if I it doesn't work out, okay, well, I'm gonna learn something from it regardless. So be open to God's love because God loves you. I love you. I I believe uh I can shine a big light in this world one day, and I know that I will. It's gonna take some time, and unfortunately, it's gonna take some uh not unfortunately, but uh unfortunate for me because I like things to come super fast, but it does take time. Anything that's worth it takes time. So here's the couple suggestions I would like for you to take with uh a grain of salt um and just try and implement. Wake up and be grateful that you're alive. There's so many people that wake up and die, or wake up and realize that they uh have uh a kidney disease or whatever may be. Wake up grateful, wake up in gratitude. I dare you to wake up and think about all that you have as opposed to what you don't have yet, instead of waking up, oh my gosh, I gotta go to this nine to five, or oh my gosh, I have to do this today, or whatever. Just wake up and have that feeling of gratitude and have that feeling of a changed attitude and watch it elevate your altitude. Um be faithful, you know, be faithful to those you care about, be faithful to even those that maybe have shown non-love to you, and just distance yourself and focus on becoming the best you. And when you're in those certain situations that maybe aren't as ideal for you, then be kind and be firm at the same time. There's a way of being kind and firm that's a little uncomfortable or might set yourself uncomfortable and other people uncomfortable, but when you do it in a manner that makes sense, it makes all the difference. And why not? Because ultimately I think it's important to lead with kindness regardless, especially for those that haven't been kind to you, because it will eventually make them think, like, wow, why did I even treat that person in this manner? So, how about this? How come we aren't the people that we know that we can be? It's because of the excuses that we put ahead and the uh other blame or blaming other people, not taking full accountability. So I dare you to start taking accountability and live your life with the mindset of greatness over defeat, grind or die, and be willing to embrace God in your life. Maybe if it's not right now, I know it's a it's a big ask and it's a big transition. So take it as you will. I'm not saying to it's absolutely mandatory, live the life you want, but when you embrace the Lord and you live correct and you live like the person who you know you are to be. It's not even who I'm telling you to be, who you know you can be, the best person you can be. That is when you start seeing transitions that you can't even begin to fathom. That's when you start opportunities start opening up that you would have never even had if you hadn't been the right person that you needed to be to begin with. So hmm. Be willing to be grateful every morning, be willing to embrace the fact that you can't control everything, and be willing to understand that you can only go so far on your on your own, but with the Lord, with the force of the Lord and his control, with his guidance, you can go further than you could even imagine, then your mind could even comprehend. I dare you to start changing your life by embracing the word, embracing the Lord, embracing the fact that you don't have to be like so many other people that are uh, you know, out of touch with kindness, out of touch with just being a good person, out of touch with just caring for other others. You enrich yourself by enriching others. I dare you to just live the life that you want by making sacrifices. It all comes down to sacrifices, discipline over desire. Especially when these uh suggestions of mine start working. I think it's so important to not forget to live in gratitude, not forget to live in prayer, and not to forget to be humble and be kind and be caring to everyone. Uh, I think that's a very easy thing to become because then you start seeing the success and you're like, wow, like or not for everyone, but some some people kind of get in this notion that they feel that they're better than others. We should never look at anybody that we're you know better than them. And I I could speak to this too. Uh, you know, uh I remember in hmm like when I was 13, I remember I was getting in such good shape, and I remember being, you know, 13, a stupid clown, um, making fun of people, and it's just it's so embarrassing to say, but you know, it doesn't do you any good and it actually just uh makes you look uh pretty stupid. So embrace your power, but embrace the Lord's power and watch your life change. I I think the last thing is to constantly build your relationship with God. You know, constantly find ways to become a better person and find a way to please our Lord and watch your life change. And ultimately, it's more than you know, sure, there's there's benefits, but ultimately for those that are going through a really hard time, it'll help you find the peace that you're looking for, help you find that extra breath of fresh air after the craziest week or the craziest month you might have just had. So I I dare you to become the best person you can be in God's eyes. Look at yourself as if you were out of your own body and really just take that time to self-reflect and be like, would God be happy with me? And if you don't believe in God, that's okay too. But maybe consider the fact that we aren't here by accident. There's you know, some way, somehow we were created is just um you know, be willing to walk on an invisible bridge because it the world is kind of just too perfect how we live here. And if you even just look out at trees and you look out at nature, it's just yeah, Mother Nature. So I think uh what I would like to say is just may the Lord be with you. I hope you have a blessed month. I hope you have the most amazing day, the most amazing Saturday, and the best year of your life. And uh I'll keep you guys in my prayers. I love you guys so much. Thank you for all your love and support and spread kindness to others. Be the best person you can be. Show love, show gratitude, enjoy life, and have a crazy positive attitude and crazy optimism to the point where you look insane and don't worry about the judgment. The judgment's gonna come regardless of any situation that you're in. Just be great. You gotta be great to be grateful. I love you guys. I'll talk to you guys soon. Thank you for all your love.
