Everything that is worth it always takes time. Be willing to invest more time into yourself. If you are not where you would like to be but you are watching tv and stuck scrolling on socials maybe consider putting time into reading or something that will bring you value. Understand that nobody is going to come and save you. You have to be willing to go through the pain to get to the next level. I believe in you, you should too. Help others when you can, help yourself first and foremost by becoming the best version of you. Here is the thing we all know what is required to become successful if we just take a second to think about it, but most people are not willing to endure the cost of what is required. Pay the price, and do what needs to be done.
To learn you must be able to listen, not saying to listen to me, look at the greats, Success leaves clues.

Welcome back to Office of the Day with Mark Anthony. Thank you so much, you guys. Just want to intro this with today. It's a Sunday. It's a new week. Let's make the most of it. Today's episode is on paying the price. What does that mean? So there's three factors, I believe, to become the best self. You have to have imagination, you have to have faith, and you have to have the diligence and persistence when things are going wrong. Because when you're elevating to that next level, you're going to start getting more criticism. Some might actually be good criticism, like constructive criticism. So uh be open to that. But you're gonna start getting more criticism. You're gonna start getting more situations that come about because you're in the right frequency and you're in tune to steer you off. Today, I was parking in the parking lot, and somebody literally tried finessing me and getting me to go and search through their car and um, you know, try to rob me. Did I get in the car? No, but I saw it happen. And anyways, just be hyper aware of your surroundings, be hyper aware of what's going on. Back to paying the price. We all know what it takes to become successful in whatever field that we look to do. If we really take the time to search for those answers, we really take the time to read on the weekends, read during the week, cut out the Netflix, cut out the TV. Sure, I mean, one hour or two hours a week, why not? But if you're not where you're at to be where if you're not where you're at, or if you're not where you want to be, and you're sitting there watching Netflix every night, and you're not investing back into yourself, it's because truly you don't want to be where you want to go fully or not bad enough. So pay the price, put in that extra time on yourself, put in that extra time to learn your new skill, put in that extra time to study whatever it is that you need to study. You know what that is. Ultimately, we all know what we need to do, but we all don't make the sacrifices to get to that next level. For me, I can truly say that I need to study more um codings for silicon coating for commercial buildings. I need to study more of the terminology for commercial buildings. I'm not an expert in that yet, and there's so much to learn, and I've been overwhelmed with uh, you know, taking on the new leads for our residential side of things, but I'm gonna pay the price and I'm gonna block out time two hours every day, no matter what is going on, to study commercial roofing. It's just a matter of applying yourself and being aware of wow, what am I actually doing? You know, what am I actually doing? What sacrifices do I have to make to get to that next level? And to learn, we must listen. So listen to our inside, listen to ourselves, listen to our subconscious, and also a best way of unlocking the secrets and the answers that we're looking for is by simply taking a walk and having a notepad ready or your cell phone ready and just taking notes and then coming back home, write notes in your journal. I know it's so cliche and whatever, but success leaves clues. All successful people have journals. They all write, they all get their notes out in their head every morning or at least every night or once a week if you can't make that happen. But commit to looking for the answers and you'll find them, but you have to commit to them. Imagination. I want to harp on this for a quick second. To first have any success, any success I've ever had, I imagined it first. So imagine the place you want to be and really fill and truly believe that you're there, and then start working on a plan to get there. Faith. I'm not gonna tell you to believe in God, I'm gonna tell you to believe in yourself. I do believe in God, but that doesn't matter. Not to you guys. Have faith in yourself and your abilities. Now, for those of you that do believe in God, lean into Him, but lean into yourself for those that have your different beliefs. That's completely fine. But believing yourself, and believing yourself comes with putting in the effort and putting in the practices. Make the sacrifice, pay that price. Whatever price you think that you're paying, we all have to do more, myself included. I'm not excluded for this. I have to pay the price and become a better individual, become more studious in commercial roofing, become more observant, more hyper-aware, and also just being there for the people that I love the most because I do get caught up in focusing on work, and the only way we can become better sometimes is by taking some time to ourselves. So make sure you're putting in time for yourself. It honestly helps so much. And don't believe me, go ahead and give it a try, and then let me know what you guys think. The last thing repetition, focus, and diligence and persistence, especially when things are going out your way. When things aren't going your way, that's when we have to apply the most pressure because you're just like a stock, right? Stocks to put briefly, they're trying to get when they're trying to get to that new level or trying to get to that new number, they hit the wall and they hit this wall over and over and over again. So just like a stock, you have to have that diligence for when you get hit down, you get knocked back down. Put strength, put power, and put the belief when things aren't going your way, because ultimately those lessons that you learn from getting knocked down is what's gonna give you the energy to get to that next level and give you the uh confidence ultimately to become your best self, and as well, you'll be able to help others and explain to them what you went through. And most people can relate to you know, failures or lessons is what I like to call them. Most people can relate to that, and you can help others too, but ultimately you have to want to help yourself first before you can help others. Success leaves clues, success requires intense focus. Success becomes pleasurable when you forget about the success you want to hit. Meaning, when you forget about the end goal, focus on the process, focus on the everyday, focus on all the tasks that you have every day, focus on everything that you want to hit and overcome throughout the day. Focus on remembering that anything that comes your way each and every single day, that you're gonna become better because of it, that you're gonna become more healthy with understanding that things are gonna go left or they're gonna go right. But if you keep straight and you stay positive, whatever happens, you make the best of every day, and it's gonna be okay. Learn from every situation. Try to learn from every situation. If you don't learn, then you'll pay the price for it later, and that's okay. But you have to be willing to go through the pain to get the gain. Here's another one that really hurts, you know. As you start getting to the next level, you're gonna notice from uh maybe some family or maybe some close friends that don't really accept who you're becoming as of yet, or they don't believe in the vision sometimes because on the outer end, when you're outside, it's kind of hard to understand what you're doing, but you're gonna have to pay the price and accept the judgment from others, and accept the non-constructive criticism, meaning the maybe the negativity that comes along with it, and accept it, be understanding because nobody can understand your vision like anybody else. So just keep working towards it and accept that not everybody will understand you, but in time as you progress, be forgiving, forgive, you know, just forgive, pay the price, accept judgment. People are gonna judge you regardless. People will always judge you when you're climbing up the ladder. So accept the pain, accept the negativity, and use it as your fuel to understand that you're going to that next level. Pay the price, have faith. Pay the price every morning. For me, I like to wake up and I like to talk about what I'm grateful for. Thank you. Um, thank you, God, and just you know, pay the price. Skills come after you paying the price over and over again and quote unquote failing, I like to say learning. Allow yourself to learn, allow yourself to feel that pain and believe in yourself. If I can leave you with anything, believe in yourself by putting in the work, believing yourself by understanding that nothing that is worth it happens overnight. Nothing that is worth it happens in a week. Nothing that is worth it happens quickly. So remind yourself that all people who have made it big, it took them time. And if it didn't take them that much time, that's okay too, because you're on your own process. Just like Jay-Z says, nobody's gonna speed up my process, nobody needs to speed up yours except for yourself. And the best way to do that is by focusing on becoming the best person you can and focusing on loving the process, passing it as wolf, win or learn, fly high. Mark Anthony says, Thank you so much for everything you guys do. Thank you for your support. And uh pay the price. You know what to do. Look into your head and remember that you are loved and you are cared for. You can do anything you want, but you have to want it. Put in that work. Thank you so much, you guys. Much love.
