00:05:03.120 So earlier, when we were starting at the beginning, I talked about God created a divine council of principalities and powers in the heavenly. 00:05:04.000 --> 00:05:07.920 That was a kingdom family before Satan rebelled. 00:05:08.079 --> 00:05:10.240 And then we talked about the rebellion of Satan. 00:05:10.319 --> 00:05:14.319 I talked about the gap theory, I talked about Genesis 1, 1, and 2 and all of that. 00:05:14.480 --> 00:05:20.800 So he's got a divine council, still there, angelic spirits that are part of his heavenly family. 00:05:21.040 --> 00:05:28.399 Now, what God's doing is creating an earthly family that he wants to use to bring heaven to earth. 00:05:28.639 --> 00:05:29.839 Does that make sense? 00:05:30.079 --> 00:05:31.519 Okay, so number one, that. 00:05:31.680 --> 00:05:36.399 Number two, we exercise dominion over the resources of the earth. 00:05:36.639 --> 00:05:44.959 So you have been given in the cultural mandate of the kingdom of God dominion over resources. 00:05:45.120 --> 00:05:51.360 So you're responsible for your finances, you're responsible for your job that you do, that you do it with excellence. 00:05:51.600 --> 00:05:54.079 And sometimes we do and sometimes we don't, right? 00:05:54.240 --> 00:06:04.399 But we have the blessing of God behind us, we have the momentum of the kingdom of God behind us, the zeal of the Lord's behind us, when we go to our job and we do it with excellence for the glory of God. 00:06:04.639 --> 00:06:11.759 It was Martin Luther during the Reformation that kind of turned Europe upside down by saying your vocation is worship. 00:06:12.079 --> 00:06:13.759 You see, the Catholic Church didn't say that. 00:06:13.839 --> 00:06:23.199 The Catholics said that worship is coming to a mass or being under the elements of communion and baptism of the priest. 00:06:23.360 --> 00:06:30.959 And then Martin Luther comes along and says, that's great, but there's something way more important, and that is that you have a Christian vocation. 00:06:31.120 --> 00:06:36.480 Be the best blacksmith you can be, be the best mechanic that you can be, be the best lawyer. 00:06:36.959 --> 00:06:38.480 That's worship to the Lord. 00:06:38.720 --> 00:06:40.319 So that's where that came from. 00:06:40.560 --> 00:06:45.439 Number three, we are created male and female to reflect the image So this is this is, you say, what is the abundant life? 00:08:45.679 --> 00:08:48.000 Well, the abundant life is everything that I've just said. 00:08:48.240 --> 00:08:53.039 It's being an imager of God, it's male and female, and be all female. 00:08:53.759 --> 00:09:02.960 Be all male, be who God created you to be, and don't let the culture define that for you, let scripture define that for you. 00:09:03.120 --> 00:09:12.159 So the purpose of the imagers is the life of the kingdom of God, reflecting God's image with fruitfulness, freedom, and dominion. 00:09:12.480 --> 00:09:13.679 That's the spiritual gifts, we must have way more evangelists than anything else. 00:09:44.000 --> 00:09:57.440 Because everybody's trying to get everybody to sign on the dotted line, walk the aisle, say the prayer, whatever, and we still lead the world in pornography, we still lead the world in immorality, we still lead the world in drug addiction. 00:09:57.679 --> 00:10:05.360 If you want, by the way, if you want to be a counselor, a professional counselor, America is the best place to be. 00:10:05.840 --> 00:10:12.639 Because we have more people that need more counseling that are more depressed and destroy the vocation of God as imagers that we were created to be. 00:11:11.840 --> 00:11:15.279 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord had made. 00:11:15.440 --> 00:11:19.759 And he said to the woman, Has God indeed said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:32.080 And the woman said to the servant, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it lest you die. 00:11:32.399 --> 00:11:42.000 Then the serpent said to the woman, You will not surely die, for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be open, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. 00:11:42.240 --> the rule of Christ. 00:18:29.279 --> 00:18:42.640 So it is, it is imagers like us, having Christ in our lives, that we begin to live a life that brings increasingly so, the rule and the reign of
