inhabited. 00:07:17.199 --> 00:07:33.920 So my thesis last week was there was a war in heaven in time immemorial, in which, like a like a nuclear blast possibly, uh Lucifer rebels against God and is the morning. 00:10:58.639 --> 00:11:08.559 If you are into astronomy, if you're into the cosmos, the stars, many of you know that the term for Venus is Lucifer. 00:11:08.799 --> 00:11:14.559 That's uh in ancient Hebraic thought as well as Sumerian thought. 00:11:14.720 --> 00:11:23.440 Um, Venus is often called the Luciferian star because it is the star of the morning. 00:11:23.600 --> 00:11:25.200 That's the first star you see. 00:11:25.440 --> 00:11:30.240 When I'm out hunting early in the morning, that you'll see that bright star there. 00:11:30.480 --> 00:11:32.080 Um, the sun of the 00:11:43.759 But something terrible happened, something awful happened. 00:11:43.919 --> 00:11:56.639 And in Ezekiel 28, we get a we get a theological view of how Lucifer came about and kind of how he say to the Prince of Tyre. 00:12:06.080 --> 00:12:06.879 Underline that. 00:12:07.120 --> 00:12:09.519 Prince of Tyre, thus saith the Lord. 00:12:09.679 --> 00:12:13.840 So there is a, in historical literature, there is a prince of Tyre. 00:12:13.919 --> 00:12:22.240 So this is really a man who is the prince of a nation, a province called Tyre. 00:12:22.639 --> 00:12:32.639 Now, in the 11th verse, though, there's a shift, and Ezekiel writes about a king of Tyre. 00:12:32.879 --> 00:12:34.159 Interesting shift. 00:12:34.399 --> 00:12:36.320 Verse 11, jump down to verse 11. 00:12:36.480 --> 00:12:44.399 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre. 00:12:45.200 --> 00:13:01.279 So theologians believe that the king of Tyre is Satan or Lucifer here, and this is our first indication of his work outside of obviously Genesis, where we see an idea of his pre-fallen state. 00:13:01.840 --> 00:13:41.279 We believe some kind of a pre-fallen state in which he's working behind the scenes, and this is probably where he was at work in his job description as a chief prime minister of God, as a high-level archangel over all of the counsel of God, and the counsel of God I'm gonna cover next week, so you understand the hierarchy of the counsel of God in Scripture, but that this prince of this prince of Tyre is being influenced by the king of Tyre. 00:13:41.360 --> 00:13:50.720 In other words, this satanic spirit being, we're gonna call him Satan, is working behind the scenes of this world or provincial leader. 00:13:50.960 --> literature, and some of it's actually biblical in its imagery, but that's not how he's way, way more sophisticated than that. 00:14:25.200 --> 00:14:30.720 He's not gonna come into your room and he's got a little pitchfork and he's gonna say trick-or-treat or something. 00:14:30.960 --> 00:14:38.799 Um, no, he works behind the scenes and he always needs a person or an object to embody. Gospels when he rebukes Jesus, and then Jesus says, get behind me, Satan. 00:14:54.159 --> 00:15:03.600 With Ananias and Sapphira in the book of Acts, Satan is working behind the scenes, and Peter says, Satan has filled your heart. 00:15:03.919 --> 00:15:12.879 We see a magician that Peter must deal with who's being used by Satan to manipulate the power of the Holy Spirit, to fake out people with the power of the Holy Spirit. 00:15:12.960 --> 00:15:27.919 We see it today with certain churches and certain groups that say that they're having all these signs and wonders, and we find out later that the leader is involved in all kinds of weird stuff, and the church is into all kinds of crazy stuff. 00:15:28.159 --> 00:15:31.120 Could be that it's demonic power. 00:15:31.440 --> 00:15:33.600 Demonic power can do signs and wonders. 00:15:33.759 --> 00:15:46.879 We have that with Moses and Pharaoh, where Moses does a sign and a wonder, and the magicians do a sign and a wonder, and then and then Moses does a sign and a wonder from God, and then this magician does it from demonic powers. 00:15:47.120 --> 00:15:52.799 So there's this king of Tyre working behind the prince of 00:16:24.639 So this Luciferian figure, this spirit being, and I don't even like to use like the to use the third person he, but it's definitely not a she, and it's a he or it's not a he. 00:16:24.720 --> 00:18:08.079 So if you if you know about the beauty of the of the gems that are on the breastplate of the priest in Israel, it's a picture here of a priest, a high-level priest with these emeralds fourth, emerald, the fifth, Sardonx, the sixth, Sardis, the seventh chrysalite, the eighth beriel or barrel, the ninth topaz, the tenth, chrysopras, the eleventh, Jacinth, and the twelfth Amethyst.
