00:04:05.039 So turn in your Bibles to Matthew chapter 4, and I'm going to skim through part one, and we're going to move to the other parts of this discussion about a kingdom of God revolution. 00:04:05.360 --> 00:04:19.920 God has spoken to our team here at the road that He is leading us at the road, the road at Chapel Hills, to be a light on a hill to bring a kingdom revolution to our city and to the Rockies. 00:04:20.399 --> 00:04:23.680 Now, are we called to bring a kingdom revolution to Washington, D.C.? 00:04:24.079 --> 00:04:24.399 No. 00:04:25.040 --> 00:04:29.519 Are we called to he's got hundreds of churches in Washington, D.C., and he's got hundreds of churches in Indiana, and he's got thousands of churches in Georgia, and he's got them all over, but God's given us this mandate, this beautiful city of Colorado Springs, that he wants it to be a model city, and it can't be a model city unless it's with a group of people who really believe in the kingdom of God. pictures on the wall and the type of classes that we had that would give you the impression that Jesus was really kind of a beach comer and a surfer boy out of Southern California that was just about 00:05:56.959 He speaks about a kingdom, a forceful kingdom, in which he was modeling to us something that he began, and this is his thesis statement. 00:05:57.199 --> 00:05:58.560 Look at verse 17. Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 00:06:15.360 --> 00:06:16.800 Then he said to century, one of the hallmarks of some of the early writings we have from the patristic fathers is that the church was known for taking in those infants that were thrown away by many of the people of starving from not enough food, real food. 00:20:50.160 --> 00:20:54.240 In Colorado, one in seven children don't have enough food. 00:20:54.400 --> 00:20:57.759 That's a huge proportion right there.
