background is, but she came up to me at a baseball game and she said, Man, I was listening to those first two messages, and I can't explain it, but on a regular basis, I get up in the morning and it's believer, when you become a Jesus follower, you have the spirit of Jesus living within you, and he starts to give you the capacity and the power through his spirit to destroy the works of the devil. behind me, Satan. 00:09:01.360 --> 00:09:04.720 That's how quickly the enemy strategies can work. 00:09:04.799 --> 00:09:10.399 So in 1 Peter 5.8, Peter writes this Be sober and alert. 00:09:10.879 --> 00:09:15.120 Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion. 00:09:16.159 --> 00:09:20.480 He is on the prowl looking for someone to devour. 00:09:21.279 --> 00:09:23.919 Resist him strong in your faith. 00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:27.919 So my title tonight is Strategies of a Roaring Lion. 00:09:28.240 --> 00:09:31.120 Strategies of a Roaring Lion over a Nation. 00:09:31.360 --> 00:09:39.200 Reality is this, is that you gotta understand the setup before we get to actually how we cast them out, how we get set free. 00:09:39.360 --> 00:09:42.799 So he says that the enemy is like a roaring lion. 00:09:42.879 --> 00:09:48.240 So there's a roaring lion out there, and he has devices, you guys, and he has strategies. 00:09:48.480 --> 00:09:50.720 He has strategies for you. 00:09:51.120 --> 00:09:54.960 He knows you, but he also has strategies over nations. 00:09:55.279 --> 00:09:59.519 There is a strategy by Satan over America. 00:09:59.840 --> 00:10:02.639 And he uses leaders in government. 00:10:02.799 --> 00:10:14.159 He uses mayors, he uses presidents, he uses um council members, he works in churches, he works through boards, he works through people of influence. 00:10:14.320 --> 00:10:15.840 And we're gonna see that in a moment. 00:10:16.000 --> 00:10:18.320 But what I want to talk about now is nations. 00:10:18.559 --> 00:10:24.000 Revelation 12, 7 talks about the battle in the heavenlies when we spoke of the great battle. 00:10:24.080 --> 00:10:25.440 I call it the first war. 00:10:25.919 --> 00:10:27.200 The first world war. 00:10:27.600 --> 00:10:32.240 The first world war was not in 1916 to 1918. 00:10:32.320 --> 00:10:45.759 The first world war was eons, yea, even many, maybe millions of years ago, when the worship intercessor Lucifer, morning stars, what that means, rebelled against God, Isaiah 14, the five eye wills that are there. 00:10:45.840 --> 00:10:50.000 We've already discussed all this, rebelled against God, he was cast to the earth. 00:10:50.159 --> 00:10:53.039 Here's what it says in Revelation 12, 7. 00:10:53.279 --> 00:11:03.360 The war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 00:11:04.159 --> 00:11:14.639 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the devil and Satan, and this is the part that's key, who deceives the whole world. 00:11:15.360 --> 00:11:16.879 Who deceives the whole world. 00:11:16.960 --> 00:11:18.879 So they didn't talk about a job description. 00:11:19.200 --> 00:11:20.559 There's your job description. 00:11:20.879 --> 00:11:24.159 He is here, he's on the earth, he's called the prince of the power of the air. 00:11:24.320 --> 00:11:30.559 2 Corinthians 4, 4, Ephesians 2.2, he's a prince of the power of the air to deceive the whole world. 00:11:30.720 --> 00:11:35.440 He was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 00:11:35.840 --> 00:11:54.320 So Satan, who longed to be worshipped, who desired worship, had what uh Donald Gray Barnhouse in his great work, The Invisible Works, said, a spontaneous generation in his heart of pride that welled up within him, I will be like the Most High God, Isaiah 14, 12 through 14. 00:11:54.480 --> 00:11:56.960 And in so doing, he was cast out. 00:11:57.200 --> 00:11:59.440 He now is here to deceive the whole world. 00:11:59.600 --> 00:12:05.200 So then we have this interesting scenario where Jesus begins his public ministry. 00:12:05.679 --> 00:12:10.159 And he goes into fasting and prayer for 40 days and 40 nights. 00:12:10.399 --> 00:12:12.000 During that time, he became hungry. 00:12:12.080 --> 00:12:13.360 It's the end of the 40 days. 00:12:13.600 --> 00:12:14.799 Satan comes to him. 00:12:14.960 --> 00:12:17.759 And there's this interaction on the pinnacle of the temple. 00:12:18.000 --> 00:12:27.440 And this is what Satan says to Jesus I will give you all the power and glory of these kingdoms. 00:12:27.759 --> 00:12:34.799 All of it, listen, all of it has been given to me, and I give it to anyone I please. 00:12:35.360 --> 00:12:35.679 Okay. 00:12:36.159 --> 00:12:41.120 So Jesus never contends at all with what Satan says. 00:12:41.360 --> 00:12:44.639 In a sense, by being mute, he agrees with it. 00:12:44.720 --> 00:12:48.320 In other words, he's look actually Satan is telling the truth there. 00:12:48.399 --> 00:12:51.679 He can give it to anyone he wants, but it's been given to him. 00:12:51.840 --> 00:13:01.600 So, you main and the plane of the ministry of Jesus, you guys, was preaching the kingdom, healing the sick, and casting out demons. 00:13:40.720 --> 00:13:55.840 So if we talked about a threefold ministry of Jesus, he came to set the captives free, Luke 4, 18 and 19, through preaching the kingdom of God, obviously living the kingdom of God, but I'm talking about what he actually did as far as ministry. 00:13:56.000 --> 00:13:59.039 He preached the kingdom of God, the reign and the rule of Christ. 00:13:59.440 --> 00:14:02.000 He healed the sick and he cast out demons. 00:14:02.320 --> 00:14:02.639 Okay? 00:14:03.039 --> 00:14:11.679 So he starts driving back the enemy, but he never contends with what Satan said, that he's here and he has power and glory. 00:14:11.759 --> 00:14:13.759 And that's why the Lord's prayer is so powerful. 00:14:13.919 --> 00:14:18.960 When you pray the Lord's Prayer, you're praying the opposite of what Satan said to Jesus. 00:14:19.120 --> 00:14:23.039 We're typing. 00:16:52.960 --> 00:17:00.320 If you don't know what that is, that's where you blindfold yourself, and then you ask the spirits to come and you channel spirits, and then you type stuff, and away, and and I mean, it was bad. 00:17:25.759 --> 00:17:36.799 Um, I brought a guy with me, and when we walked in, I had this young Japanese guy, he's a new not a new believer, but sort of a new what will happen to your people. 00:29:54.559 --> 00:30:00.960 Remember, Israel, in the latter days, for the re the vision refers to many days to come. 00:30:01.119 --> 00:30:10.079 So Daniel has been anointed by God to get information, divine intelligence about what's gonna happen in the latter days to Israel. 00:30:10.720 --> 00:30:14.480 This angel, this high-level spirit, can't get to him. 00:30:14.720 --> 00:30:17.200 But he's fasting and praying for 21 days. 00:30:17.440 --> 00:30:26.720 Remember, Jesus said when the disciples could not cast the demon out of this young man, he says, some won't come out except through fasting and prayer. 00:30:27.200 --> 00:30:40.000 So sometimes, men and women, in these latter days, we're gonna have obstacles for the church and obstacles in your job and obstacles in your marriage and relational obstacles that you cannot break through without unless you fast and pray. 00:30:40.319 --> 00:30:49.200 You've got to fast and pray because the spirit over that is just high level and they're powerful, they're a principality and a power. 00:30:49.599 --> 00:30:52.240 And so, and so for 21 days he tried. 00:30:52.400 --> 00:31:06.240 Now, look at verse 20, it's really interesting, and I only recently kind of read this when I was studying this, and I I mean, I've studied this passage so many times, but I just went back and it's kind of interesting because he talked about being greatly beloved again. 00:31:06.400 --> 00:31:09.599 And then in verse 20 he says, then he said, and he's getting ready to leave now. 00:31:09.680 -->
