We recap Game 6 and 7 of the Western Conference Finals and finish up our schedule predictions for the NFC with the NFC West.
Welcome to another episode of Between the Coast. I am your host, Fernando, with our stars Cassius and Jared. Today we will we will be reviewing the NBA conference finals in the West, followed by NFC West schedule predictions and any NFL news to follow. Cassius, what was your take for game six and seven very quickly?
SPEAKER_04Well, game six. As I called, Wimby came back strong with the teams. Stefan Castle put put the guards up, and Shay could not get anything going. I mean, it was it was a rough day for him. Uh again, Shet did not show up offensively. He's been showing up defensively, but that's not game six. We're talking about game six still. So uh game sixty showed up defensively, but offensively still was very mediocre, especially for being the third option on that team. Uh even with Jay Will back, even though Jared made a comment uh in our chat, like uh which I agree with, maybe he shouldn't have come back that game was kind of a liability on the floor, honestly, because he couldn't pivot just because of that spur uh that issue that injury. And then uh yeah, I I just think that you know Darien Fox also had kind of a rough game, but pivoting to game seven, it it was exactly what I kind of saw happening in regards. Uh Shea stepped up, he had an incredible game. Um, but then Wimby did what he needed to do. Uh the guards, as I said, had to step up and be kind of the form factor, and Darien Fox did what he needed to do. Castle played awesome, but he needs to fix his his hot temper because honestly, if it wasn't for Harper, who also played like a four-year vet, and he's a rookie, if he didn't grab Stefan Castle, and then same with Vassell coming in and grabbing Castle at the end there, those could be two quick techs right there that give extra points away. But it was it was it was an incredible game. Uh, they really kind of locked it down. And hero of the game, Luke Cornett, with the block that honestly changed the tide. Everyone was hoo and hon, and then that man came in with that double hand block and said, nah, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it, Wimby. You got five fouls.
SPEAKER_03I got it. So all right, and Jared, what's what's your take of game six and seven of the Western Conference Finals?
SPEAKER_02I mean, there's there's not really much to talk about. Um, the Spurs did what they were supposed to do. Uh, I can sit here and say Cass was right. They came out, they blitzed him in game six. Uh they locked up Shea. Shea did show up in game seven, which I'm not gonna lie, he did it without being the free throw merchant that we know him to be too, which is why he is the MVP. Like, we gotta give him those flowers in that regard, too. Even though we all have our takes on who else who it could have been, that is why he got MVP. Like, he balled out in that game seven, even though they lost. But I will say this Cassie has touched on the Spurs. I'm gonna touch on the Thunder a little bit. I think Chet folded. Chet is not a second option, he's not even a Robin. Like, let's just throw that out there. That Robin is J-Dub. He's not even a bad girl, dude. He's not even a third option right now. Damn, damn, damn.
SPEAKER_04Four points?
SPEAKER_02I feel like bad girl is like the fourth option.
SPEAKER_04Hang on, hang on. Four points, four rebounds, two shots. All NBA, all star.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. And when Wemby baptized him, that was it. Like, that was it. He he was he was shook. He was out there looking like Ben Simmons, the end of Ben Simmons. That's what it looked like. And I think J Dub being hurt, it turned the series a lot. I think it really goes to show SGA isn't that team do that team doesn't flow the way they do without uh J Dub. So I mean, shout out to the Spurs. Wemby and them got it done, but I mean we'll see what they do in the finals.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, uh AJ Mitchell also was out, and it definitely hurt them. Jared McCain played great. Honestly, he was their third option pretty much this whole series. Caruso, Caruso does what Caruso does, dude. He got hurt at the end too. Exactly. But yeah, Caruso does what he does. He plays great D. He shoots those threes when it matters. Actually, fun fact, Caruso is the first bench player in NBA history with 20 plus threes in a conference finals. Like, so he he always he's always showing up, but unfortunately, like I I just didn't think that they could overcome this, especially I just had a feeling. I mean, he seeing how Chet has played all game or all series, honestly, that's what made me worry about about the uh Thunder this round. And I I just saw the the passion and and as we've alluded to, or at least how I've alluded, I think the Spurs are ahead of their time, not just because of the presence that's in that locker room of of NBA greatness, but also just Wimby's different, dude. He he's a different kind of animal, he wants it, and so do all those other guys. Like, and uh as I said, D'Arian Fox, Harrison Barnes, like may not have a lot of playoff experience on that team, but it was enough. So you're taking the Spurs? As of today, no. But we'll do our we'll do our finals preview.
SPEAKER_02We don't have to we don't have to do all that. I'm just asking. It's either you taking the Spurs or you're not. You answered it. But because you you're doing a lot of the whole, they got this, they got that. I mean, the reality is I will say one thing about what you just said. You're right, they're ahead of schedule. But what happens to NBA teams when they're ahead of schedule, especially if they lose? It takes just as much as long to get back to the mountaintop. Like we could literally be talking about how they were in the finals, and and before we know it, we could be talking about them being on the outside of the playoffs looking in next year. Yeah, what happened to Indiana?
SPEAKER_04I don't see that happening because organizationally wise, that's not who the Spurs are. They're not uh they're not I'm saying like when they're in it, they're not in uh in and out. You know what I mean? Like it's they're in and they're always in. And and Wimby, dude, unless that kid, unless he's getting hurt, god forbid, like they're they're not gonna be missing the playoffs for the next 10, 20 years, dude.
SPEAKER_02Okay, go ahead, Nando.
SPEAKER_03Jared, what's your early uh finals take? We we heard Cassius's, but what's yours? Who do you have winning?
SPEAKER_02No, no, no. I'm saving it for Tuesday, like we said.
SPEAKER_03You made him answer his.
SPEAKER_02I'm not trying to hear that. Let's go.
SPEAKER_03What's your early early, early take?
SPEAKER_02Absolutely not, man. Absolutely not. I didn't allude to having to take. He alluded, so I asked him. So let's go.
SPEAKER_04Well, I mean, other than that, I mean, like I said, there's there's just a lot on the table of what can happen next. Uh, I when it comes to for one, actually, another fun fact, Harrison Barnes uh's birthday was during game seven. Usually they say usually if there's a player that has a birthday on a game seven, they are now eight and in those games. Versus while they were facing the Thunder's record, which uh they were undefeated in home games in game sevens, and that is the first loss they've ever taken. But but yeah, I like I said, I I think that uh it it really shows that this team can be ahead. R as of right now, like I said, the the Knicks, they're on what nine days, they get nine days of rest before uh total, and like that's gonna be a big pick pickup. Mitchell Robinson, of course, was announced uh that he broke his pinky finger, but is officially playing because if he didn't, there'd be a lot of pissed-off Knicks fans at him, um, and just basketball fans in general. But uh, I think we're I think we're gonna get a great series. And I honestly, I think both teams will be back, not to the finals, and you know, not predicting that yet, but it will be back in the playoffs next year. And I think the Spurs, I it's hard to say, but it's it's hard to see them not making it when you have Dylan Harper, rookie, Stephen Castle, or Stefan Castle, second year. Uh Vassell is only in what his fifth year, you know, like Wimby, second year. Like third year, third year, third year. But like they drafted right, they drafted how they wanted this team to build. And and then if you look at next year, I think the person who's leaving at some point will be Darien Fox. Because you don't need those three guards rotating like that. Because Harper can't stay on the bench forever. There's no way they're gonna keep that kid on the bench.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean, I like it. We will see kind of I mean, tune in for our next take to see what Jared's take on the NBA finals and who he has winning is. But Cassius, if you'll be kind enough to hit us with the transition.
SPEAKER_04Before we go, though, one last take. Thunder, as I've said in this episode, might be going after Giannis because uh Chet, you ain't gonna do it like that, bud. That's all I'm gonna say. Let's let's see how it looks. But honestly, this that I this is why I wanted to wait to see how the how this round played out. Because I said if the Thunder lost, I had a feeling that they would go after Giannis. This just emphasizes it more because Chet's play was abysmal. There is no reason as an all-star, and like this is worse than what we were talking about with Durin. Like, there's no way you can play like that. And and you've been playing this guy since you were 16 years old. You know how he plays.
SPEAKER_02It was worse than how we were talking about with Durin, but Chet is also not that he's never really been their second option.
SPEAKER_04So you okay, but you know your guy is down. Jay Will is down. Your your second option isn't there.
SPEAKER_02That is your responsibility now to step up and just I'm not disagreeing with that, but I'm just saying the way that they're built and the way they flow, he he been in that third option so long. And Chet ain't had to do shit by himself, even when he was at Gonzaga, he had to do shit by himself.
SPEAKER_04I agree with you, but it's game seven for the Western finals.
SPEAKER_02I I'm not gonna disagree with that.
SPEAKER_04I have every I can say every excuse. My dog died, my grandmother gave me some bad cookies. I don't care, dude. You better play. I I don't care if you went one for ten, one for twenty. At least I know you shot the ball. You did not help Shay in any way. Like, I'd be so upset walking off that floor and looking at him. I'd be like, Chet, don't you ever say you're a brother again? Because a brother shoots the ball.
SPEAKER_02All right, you know, go ahead, Fanette.
SPEAKER_03Go ahead, man. Yeah, I mean, he's not wrong. Only only two shots. You make one, four points. Like he's gotta step up. Game seven. All is on the line. So all right. Well, I think at this time we will transition to the NFL. All right. NFC West schedule predictions. Um, as Cassius pulls up the schedule, I will get ready to take your guys' predictions, wins and losses for the Seahawks, the LA Rams, the 49ers, and the Cardinals.
SPEAKER_04Starting with the Seahawks. First place. Reigning NFL Super Bowl champions. This city lives for Sunday. I don't know if you guys know for that. That's what it says at the top. I just wanted to say that. Oh really? I'm surprised it doesn't say uh this city lives to be to have 12 men on the field.
SPEAKER_02Well, let's just jump into it. I mean, week one versus the Patriots, this is a home game. Super Bowl rematch. Um yeah, I you know, yeah, I'm gonna say Seattle wins. I agree. Uh week two, uh, they go into Arizona. That's a win. Week three, they go into Washington. I think that's a win. Yep, that's a win. Week four, um, they're at home. The Chargers come visit them. Uh, you know, I could go either way on that one. Um But I'll I'll say they win. I'll say they win. I think they win that one too. Second home game of this of the season for them. It'll be close, but week five, and I only said they beat the Chargers because then San Francisco comes into uh Seattle, and I think that uh yeah, I think San Francisco's gonna win that game. Yeah, I think 49ers also win that one, so I have that as a loss for Seattle. Yeah, nice little trap game. Uh and then they go on the road, Denver. I have that as a loss. You know, I that's why I waited. I had to hear you say it. I I definitely think they're gonna lose that one. Um and then they have three back-to-back primetime games Thursday night, Sunday night, Monday night.
SPEAKER_04Wow.
SPEAKER_02Week seven, Arrowhead, not Arrowhead, the Chiefs come into Seattle. I'll say they win that game. I think they win that one too. They win that one. Uh week eight against the Bears at home Monday night. We all know the homer is gonna say that Seattle loses, so he doesn't even have to speak. Um but Seattle's gonna win that game on Monday night. Yeah, they're gonna lose that one.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna win that game. They're gonna win that game. Kobe Bryant's gonna have two picks on his old on his old QB.
SPEAKER_02You love Kobe Bryant, and it's like it's like the Walmart, Kobe Bryant. He's not even a real one. Like I'll take the Walmart.
SPEAKER_04And if it's a Kobe Bryant, I'll take any of Kobe. Alright, unless as long as it's not Jacoby Walters, who is named after Jordan and Kobe. Fun fact there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then uh Arizona comes to town. That's a win. Easily. Uh Raiders, they go see visit the Raiders in Vegas on uh for week 10. That's a win. Win. They get a bye. Week and then they go on week 12, they get a bye. Week 13, they go into San Francisco. Week 12, they're going to San Francisco. This is blurry on my end, so my bad. Uh yeah, week 12, sorry. Week 12, they go to San Francisco. Uh, I think I got that as a loss. Yeah, I got that as a loss. They don't lose. Yeah, I think they'll lose both of you too. And then Monday night at home against Dallas. Cass, what you got?
SPEAKER_04Uh, I got that as a loss.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna give it them loss. I think they get a loss in there. Um, and then this what is oh, December 13th. That's week 14 versus Cassius's New York Giants, might I add? I'm my Giants. You're Giants, man. You love them for some reason. So what you got?
SPEAKER_04Uh well I have them as a loss, because I have them losing also if you go back to the NFC East episode. So Yeah, they're not gonna lose them. That's a win. Oh, I'm sorry, but I meant like I have the Giants losing because it's not.
SPEAKER_02Oh Nando, did you catch that? I I thought in reverse.
SPEAKER_03I I did too, which I was very surprised, but I wasn't gonna say anything yet.
SPEAKER_04No, but that's why I was saying I referred to to the NFC East episode because I had Giants losing to Seattle. I just had to make sure.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay. Yeah, it's a loss. Cassius' second favorite team. We gotta get him a Giants jersey. Um as it's neighbors, I'm getting you a Jackson Dart jersey. Dude, I would burn it and probably then send him a video of it. Jackson Dart, when you hear this, man, you can come on. And then I'll I'll cook one of Trump's steaks on it. So that's funny. Alright, uh, week 15. They head go into the link versus the Eagles. I get if this one a win. Wait a second. Wait a second, wait a second. Yeah, wait a second. They lose to the Bears, but they beat the Eagles.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02We beat the Eagles last year, so that's a loss. Anyway, and then they get two losses in a row because in week 16 Or a win and a loss.
SPEAKER_04Depending on how you look at it.
SPEAKER_02So I take it in week 16 you have the Rams losing.
SPEAKER_04No, I said a win and a loss, because I have them winning.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you got a win. Oh yeah, my bad. I was thinking about it in reverse. Okay, anyway, week 16 at home versus the Rams. What you got? A loss. I got a loss. And then they go on the road, week 17 in Carolina. It's a win. It's a win. Oh yeah, that's a win. And then uh last game of the season, week 18 versus the Rams. That's a loss.
SPEAKER_03Cassius, you said that was a loss, too. Yeah. Alright, you guys have them going ten and seven. I have them going fourteen and three.
SPEAKER_02I have them just tell me you got them beating the Bears and the Giants. Cassius's two favorite teams.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they're gonna be they're gonna be both of those teams. I have them losing at the Broncos. Where was it? Wait a minute.
SPEAKER_04First of all, my second favorite team this year is the team that's on the screen right now. Because that's my Super Bowl favorites. These are my Super Bowl favorites for this year. Right, that's why we're gonna see them again in the NFC Championship.
SPEAKER_03So I have the Seahawks going 14 and 3. I have them losing at the Broncos, at the 49ers, and at the Rams.
SPEAKER_02So wait, are you saying the Bears are going to the NFC Championship again?
SPEAKER_04Guess you're gonna have to find out.
SPEAKER_02First off, first off. So are we are we going to take all these records and build a bracket? Is that what we're uh are we building a too early bracket?
SPEAKER_03We we can't. I have I have everything recorded. Okay now.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I'll just make sure, because you know, I I gotta hold Cassius accountable for some of these takes.
SPEAKER_03I mean, this could be our way too early takes, but it's a way too early take, but anyway, my Rams being a Super Bowl favorite is not too early.
SPEAKER_02Stop calling them your Rams. You have never even said that. I've known you for like 10 years. This has not been a thing. 12 years. That's why they're the second team on my list. 13 years. I keep having to do the math.
SPEAKER_03I I am with Jared. I've never heard you say you really like the Rams.
SPEAKER_04That's what I'm saying, bro. This year they are, because they're my Super Bowl favorites.
SPEAKER_03So okay. He's making it known now on uh May 31st, 2026.
SPEAKER_02He's killing me. Anyway, hold the Rams as my Super Bowl favorites in the beginning of the season. So we have the Los Angeles Rams. Yes, sir. Week one.
SPEAKER_04We have the Rams, which unfortunately they're having a start overseas for their home game. Err, yeah, home game versus the 49ers. Uh, that is a New England game, and that will be starting off with a win.
SPEAKER_02Did you call England New England? Did you say the New England game?
SPEAKER_01I literally said that and I had to zoom in on the schedule. I was a little confused too. He said that is a New England game. I said I was like, do I need glasses?
SPEAKER_04It's just crazy that we're starting off the first week in a uh overseas game. Like it's just I would be so upset if if both my home openers, or if one of my home openers is taken away for uh overseas game. And it's not like yeah, that's a win. And it's not like they offer you those in your season ticket package.
SPEAKER_00That's true. Yeah, that's fair.
SPEAKER_02Well, he said that was a win, so to uh I'm gonna just be that guy and say they lose.
SPEAKER_04Then we move on to Monday night football. You're your New York Giants, your third team.
SPEAKER_01I was ready for it.
SPEAKER_04Where they will be losing. Just kidding. Uh Rams will be winning that one as well. Rams win. All right. Uh then Sun wow, so yeah, they have a busy schedule too, because they go from an overseas game to a Monday night football to also then a Sunday night football uh against the Denver Broncos. I have that as a loss. I think their defense is gonna be the only thing stopping the NFC West this year. That's a win. Then Philly next on the schedule. Um I have that as a win. That's a win. Then we got a Buffalo Bills Monday night game. That will also be a loss.
SPEAKER_02I mean I'm trying to hold on. You know. Is that home or away? Oh, it's it's home. Are they home? I'ma just say it's a loss. It's Josh Allen. I gotta give him a loss somewhere.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Uh next we have Arizona coming to town, and I have that as a win. It's a win. Then we have the uh Las Vegas Raiders. That's a win. That's a win. We have the Chargers next coming out, and that being a win. I agree. Then November 8th, Washington Commanders. That will be also a win. Yep. November 15th, Arizona Cardinals, that will be a win. Yeah. Week 11 bye coming in. Then going straight into Thanksgiving Eve. What the fuck is a Thanksgiving Eve? Wednesday? Just call it the blackout Wednesday game, then. Jesus Christ. What are we talking about? Uh Green Bay Packers. Win.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they beat the Packers.
SPEAKER_04Then we have Kansas City. Which is a Thursday night game. I have that as a win, also. Yeah, it's a win. Then going to the 49ers, I have that as the first loss in a while for them. They're gonna lose.
SPEAKER_02I think the 49ers sweep them this year.
SPEAKER_04Then we have the Dallas Cowboys, which I think will be a win.
SPEAKER_02You know, it'll be different. It's a loss.
SPEAKER_04Good for you. Then we have a Christmas game with the Seattle Seahawks, and I will give that a win. Win. Then week 17, Tampa Bay Bucks. I give that a win. Win. And then the Seattle Seahawks. Final game of the season. That's a win.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's a win.
SPEAKER_03All right. Cassius, you have the Rams going fourteen and three. Jared, you have the Rams going thirteen and four. I have the Rams going 13 and 4 as well.
SPEAKER_04But you have them going what your Fernando?
SPEAKER_0313 and 4.
SPEAKER_04So you have Seattle going first place again. Yep. With a worse defense. I see. No, well, we'll get there. We'll get there. Once we do our division previews. Who do we have next other than the 49ers? Mr. Contaminated Field themselves.
SPEAKER_02Alright, let's get to it. So week one, as Cassius likes to call it, the New England game. They are playing the Rams in New England, just England. But anyway, I said that's a win. Cass has them losing that game. And then the Dolphins come on home to San Francisco. That's a win. Yeah, it's a win. They play week three, the Cardinals at home. That's a win. Yep, that's a win. Week four, Denver comes to San Francisco. What you got? I have that as a win because they're at home. I agree. Week five. At Seattle. Win. What did I say? Did I say loss? Yeah, I said they lost. They win that game. I'm sorry. I said Seattle loses. They lose all. So yeah, win. And then the Commanders come to San Francisco, which you got, Cass.
SPEAKER_04That's a win.
SPEAKER_02That's a win. Then they go on the road to play the Falcons. Big win in week seven. That's a win. Then they get a bye. Week eight. Yep. Yep. And then week nine, they have Jesus. It could be Kirko Chains. It could be Mendoza. Like they're coming to San Francisco. It's going to be Kirk. That's a win. That's a win because it's Kirk. Damn. Damn. Anyway, but I agree with that statement. Well, it's going to be a win if it was Mendoza, but anyway. And then they go on the road against the Cowboys in week 10. You know what? I'm going to give it to you. That is a loss. That's a loss. That's a loss. And then, is that Mexico? Mexico? Yeah. So they play the Vikings in Mexico, week 11. They're going to be the home team in Mexico. Crazy. Yeah. So regardless. I got that as a win. I also have that as a win. Week 12. The Seattle comes into San Francisco. I got that as a win.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Win? And then they play Cassius' favorite team. Or second favorite team. I'm sorry. Third favorite team. How can I make that mistake?
SPEAKER_04I forgot who the quarterback is for that team just because he It's your favorite quarterback, Jackson Dark.
SPEAKER_02In front of Caleb Williams.
SPEAKER_04No one is going to be more important than Caleb Williams. Also leaked, which I'll get to it, but I got special news for Caleb. Got some special news about Caleb Williams.
SPEAKER_02Alright, we'll see. Anyway, Cassius' third team is playing San Francisco. San Francisco will be in uh New York in week 13. It's a loss. Damn, you're you counting your third favorite team out, but it is a loss, though. And then the Rams come to San Francisco. Week 14. That's a loss. That's a loss for the Niners. Yeah, it's a loss for the Niners. Um then week week 15. They play go on the I think they lose. To the Chargers when they go on the road? You know, Chargers always go better at the end of the season. I'm going to agree with that. So. And also I just realized how confusing it was when we were talking about the Giants. That is a lot. That's a win for San Francisco. I was thinking about that as I kept reading, and I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That is a win for San Francisco. You the same thing I did earlier, see? I did. I did. Jesus. And then week 16, they go on the road in the arrowhead. I They b they win, but barely. I think they win too. Yeah. It's a win, but barely. It's gonna be a good game. Mahomes will be back. It'll be a good game. Uh and then week 17, Philadelphia comes into San Francisco. That's a loss.
SPEAKER_04I have it as a win.
SPEAKER_02Oh, look at you. And then week 18 versus the Cardinals on the road. That's a win.
SPEAKER_04You know what? Honestly, though, the only reason I might say this is a win for the Cardinals, aka a loss for the Niners, is they may be resting their player. Hold up. Let me finish my statement, sir. They may be resting the entire team for this fucking game.
SPEAKER_03That's fair.
SPEAKER_04You think they might start Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, fucking broke every broken bone player that they have? No. I am sitting them for this game. So you know what? I will say it's a loss.
unknownAlright, alright.
SPEAKER_02You might as well sit them for Philadelphia if that's the case. No, no. They gotta play.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna try to close it up, but if between them and the Rams, actually, according to Fernando, between the Rams, them and the Niners. But actually, I gotta hear Nando what he's got. Let me hear his record for this.
SPEAKER_03Alright, so Cassius, you have the 49ers going 12 and 5. Jared has them going 13-4. I have them going 12-5.
SPEAKER_04So, probably will be good enough to make the playoffs, but not gonna get the division. So, rest them players. Because you're gonna have to play an extra game in the playoffs anyway. So all right. Oh now, the the most fun team, right? The best team we've been waiting for. NFC West, the hardest hitters. According to some of the players on this team, the surprise of 2026, they will be. I highly doubt that. But they do have some great players for fantasy. Um, starting out with this game, on the road, playing the Chargers. That is a loss. Yep. Uh then, home opener against the defending Super Bowl champion, Seattle Seahawks. That is a loss. I agree. Then, on the road, walking into San Fran. That is another loss. I agree. Then, according to Jared, my third favorite team, sometimes second, definitely not my first. Uh Jackson Dart's your favorite quarterback, though. Never will be. Never will be, dude, in my entire life. I didn't even like him in college. Uh, but they are going to the New York Giants, and that will also be a loss.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna agree with him. That's a loss.
SPEAKER_04Then they host Jared's favorite team, sometimes second favorite, depending on if he's angry with them or not, for not doing enough on the offense.
SPEAKER_02Oh wait, who's my who's the alternate team then?
SPEAKER_04Seattle.
SPEAKER_02He knows me. He knows me. I had to make sure I had to check him.
SPEAKER_04Uh Detroit Lions uh come to Arizona and they lose again. Yeah, they lost. Finn, we got the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Arizona Cardinals and giving them another loss.
SPEAKER_02That game's gonna be over in the second quarter.
SPEAKER_04Brutal. Still looking like the Falcons. Honestly, I again, I don't know how they don't have the hardest schedule, uh, especially just because of their division. Then they have a home game and they're hosting the Denver Broncos.
SPEAKER_02Another loss. Yeah, it's a loss.
SPEAKER_04Then, November 1st, going to Dallas. You're walking into D Town and you're losing. You're losing. And then the next week, you're going to Seattle. Or you're gonna lose. Again. Then you hope the Rams. Another loss. Damn. Then you go to Kansas City to face Patrick Mahomes, who's probably healthier by then, to give you another loss. Damn. Then you host the Washington Commanders. And you think it's a team that you could beat. But I was just gonna say, it will probably be another loss. Because that defense has also improved very heartily, improving that line. Then you host the Philadelphia Eagles. Just count yourself another loss. Then, unfortunately, you have a late bye. God, I w I they're praying. I wish that they wish they had an earlier bye, because they just get beat down for pretty much the entire season until their bye week. Hold up. You ready for their first win of the season? You ready for their first win? We got them hosting the New York Jets.
SPEAKER_02That's their first win. That's their first win.
SPEAKER_04Then they walk into the New Orleans Saints. I have this as a loss. Yeah, that's a loss. Wait. Do we have a win number two coming? Because now we have the Las Vegas Raiders walking in, with potentially Mendoza getting some playing time during this game being so late in the season. And I have it as a win.
SPEAKER_02I low-key want to say they lose. But the Raiders, it's not like the Raiders are that great either. They did a lot. They did a lot in the offseason.
SPEAKER_04I need to see what that team actually looks like. You know, I'll dare to be different. It's a loss. And last but not least, your last home game of the season is hosting the 49ers in a loss. Nando hit us with the hit us with the records.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it's pretty easy. Uh Jared has them winning one game, one and sixteen. Cassius, you have them winning two games, two and four. You're welcome, Arizona fans. I also have them going two and fifteen. I have the two wins. It was a toss-up for the Jets. I have them losing against the Jets, winning against the Saints.
SPEAKER_02That's the only guaranteed win.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and winning against the Raiders. Those are the three like possible wins.
SPEAKER_04That's the Saints put Bell to S.
SPEAKER_03They might.
SPEAKER_04Terrible schedule for them. Again. How again? Between that and the Falcon schedule, like I don't understand how they gave the Bears the hardest schedule. Like, they should never do it based off the 2025 record. Just do it based on what you think is gonna happen for the 2026. And it's gonna be belt to ass for both those teams, unfortunately.
unknownYou know what?
SPEAKER_04Hang on. Oh, wait, let's let's do my favorite game of what are the numbers for uh for betting for over or under for the Arizona Cardinals.
SPEAKER_03I actually want to hear all the four teams.
SPEAKER_04Let's see. All right, so let me see. I can just pull up all right, NFC West. Let's see. All right, here we go. Here we go. Yeah, actually, Falcons are six and a half now, so thank god. That's where I predicted them, even though we barely have them going over that. But going to let's see the first team, the Rams. Uh, they are over under 10 and a half games. So basically they have them about 11 games. Next, the Niners are also 10 and a half, over under Seattle, also 10 and a half, and last, but not four and a half for the Arizona.
SPEAKER_03Cardinals are definitely that yeah.
SPEAKER_04I think it's gonna be a fun season. I mean, I think that uh, you know, the NFC West is definitely one of the most entertaining divisions right next to the NFC North. And yeah, it's gonna be a fun season for both sides. But NFL news, what I got for you guys, the biggest news is about Chicago Bear quarterback, Caleb Williams, the iceman, will be your next Madden cover star. It is confirmed. Not your favorite QB, Jackson, though. The greatest QB to walk into Chicago, and my favorite QB of all time, Caleb Williams. In other news, we do also have that the Vikings have officially hired uh a new GM, Seattle, the Seattle Seahawks Teasley. There's also uh the issue of there has been some more updates with Josh Jacobs, but we're waiting for more news to come out, but it's not looking great for him currently. For Bosa, the 49ers, he is far from recovering from rehab. Does not look great that he'll be back in time for the start of the season. And another Giants player has torn in their Achilles.
SPEAKER_02So they're not off to a great start this postseason. Which are talking about the Giants that are supposed to beat the Lions and everybody else that you predicted? Hey, that was early. Early predictions. We're still take us out. Man, don't take us out. I can't.
SPEAKER_04And last, uh, we have Andy Reed, one of the greatest coaches of all time, talking on his star wide receiver being in jail. And he's saying that maybe the jailed rice is learning some life lessons right now. You know what, Andy? Maybe I would believe you if he's learned a lesson maybe after he crashed his car driving on the opposite side of the road into a bunch of people. Maybe after he decided to break his issues of now than smoking marijuana when he knows he's not supposed to, because you know, he's not supposed to right now, because he's literally going to court and he's on probation. But I don't know. We'll see. I think he'll be in jail again.
SPEAKER_02Or he'll have something happen. You can give this type of a take, but you can't like give any other takes when I ask. Like this guy. I'll give you whatever you need. My God, Nando, take us out, bro.
SPEAKER_04Last one, Puka Nakua, our other problem child of the 2026 season so far.
SPEAKER_02On your second favorite team.
SPEAKER_04Grateful to the Rams for the support over this lawsuit. AKA when he bit a woman's ass and left teeth box.
SPEAKER_02So take us out, Nando. Take us out. I I've had enough of him today. Take us out.
SPEAKER_03All right, and with that, uh, make sure to tune in next time. We will be discussing the NBA finals and our predictions. Uh, we will also transfer over to the AFC schedule. So tune in to see what division we decide to tackle first. Uh, but before we conclude, make sure to follow, like, and subscribe to all of our channels. And as always, thank you for joining the best in the Midwest and join us next time for another episode of Between the Coast.
