This is, Between the Coasts.
Alrighty, welcome to another episode of Between the Coast. I'm your host, Fernando, with our stars Cassius and Jared. Today's episode, we will be covering game three of the NBA Finals, followed by the AFC South Schedule Predictions and the NFL news and updates. We will start with Cassius. We'll give you the mic. What was your take for game three NBA finals?
SPEAKER_02I mean, I didn't expect it to kind of go actually the way it did. I thought it was going to be uh the Knicks kind of having that home court advantage. Big huge playoff game in New York, and it was buzzing. They said uh I heard this morning, don't go to New York. Between the uh FIFA World Cup and the NBA finals happening, they say don't even try to drive. Just don't even do it. But yeah, I I I think uh Wimby and this team, it's weird because again, I I just didn't see them getting blown out in four, essentially. But I do think that Wimby and this team, they they just keep bouncing back. It's like anytime they really we think that they're kind of done for the count, this team just rallies, and again, Castle, dude. That another another special night for him. Uh even Harper, like again, the only bench player, Keldon Johnson, just give your six-man trophy to Dylan Harper, because it's Jesus. I now I see why it's a regular season trophy. Um, but yeah, I I'll I'll let uh Jared speak on the Knicks, but I I think that the Spurs really played their style of basketball. They slowed the ball down, they stopped giving away as much uh as many turnovers. The three ball was falling for them a little bit easier. Darien Fox had a horrible shooting night, but uh at the end of the day, I think that we are getting to see the real competition now come into play.
SPEAKER_04I mean, they were in it, so what you can't let the spurs hang around. That's what the Knicks did. You keep talking about Castle. Fox came to the rescue. At the end, he did. He didn't. He was 4-14 though, so hey, it's the big ones that matter, though. It's the big ones that matter, and also I just felt like the way Wemby was playing late, like when he got that block on Shaman, I just felt like I mean they had momentum then, but it just seemed real solidified in that moment, for me at least. And I mean, the Knicks just kept letting them come back. It was back and forth, it was nip and tough. I mean, it was just a hardfall game, but at the end of the day, that that was coaching, that was the the veteran presence of Fox, and that was Wimby coming through in the clutch. And Ron Harper, dude, dude, he be banging on people. So, I mean, they they like Cassius said, they just play tough, they play tight. And if you let them hang around, this series is gonna go the distance, and the Knicks can't they can't afford for they cannot leave New York tied 2-2, otherwise they're in trouble.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and and honestly, it was kind of weird seeing Kat uh kind of disappear this game. Like I think, yeah, 11 points, 8 rebounds, 4 of 10 shooting, uh 0-2 from three. He just never looked comfortable. Also, how can you make comments the game before saying that you know they don't have an answer for you, that their star center doesn't have an answer, but then they didn't even put him on you really the entire game, and they still figured out how to stop you and slow you down. And Wimby had a great night. Uh, he was able to pretty much get whatever he needed to when the time came.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, but they were the game plan looked a little different. They were very Brunson centric, and that wasn't that wasn't how they got the 2-0 lead. Brunson was just closing, they was playing through cat first two games. So they go back to that, they go up 3-1. If they don't, they're in a world of trouble.
SPEAKER_02I agree with you, man. I mean, they they tried to put Kat in the hole, and as I've said on the episode before, he's not we figured out that was the issue. Cat is a point center, he needs to have the ball in his hands to help distribute and push the paint. But McCall Bridges, two points, like it's not gonna get it done, bro. Uh, they they still need you as a scoring option, but shout out to OG and an obi, dude. 28 points, nine of three, three of seven. He hit some crazy contested threes in clutch time, too. And again, also Josh Hart. He really is the heart of this team, pun intended. Because 16 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and four of seven from three. And I I I actually texted these guys. Dude can shoot lights out when he's in New York. Makes no sense.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean, I I agree with everything you guys have said. I actually want to know what you guys think about Wemby throwing Brunson to the to the floor. Like, we gotta talk about it. Um oh, you want me to go first, Jared?
SPEAKER_02Alright, see, okay. Uh, I I think it should have been called. It's a flagrant, especially if they called that one earlier. Um, I I as we know the rough calls are inconsistent. I didn't know what I was expecting. I we did see also a lot of calls that should have been called. Stefan Castle literally got fouled twice on that contested uh layup he had, where he literally got hit, knocked, caught the ball in midair, and then went up again and then got hit in the face, fell, and still made the shot. But I I think it's both sides, like, but unfortunately, it's finals ball. There's always gonna be calls that are missed. Only thing that matters is who goes in last for that ball shot. So uh, you know, they had a chance, they could have won that game very easily. It was I mean, they they owned the second quarter, and it looked like they were gonna you know come back strong in the second half, and the Spurs just held tight and just played their style of basketball.
SPEAKER_04Jared, you guys that's why I let him go first. It didn't really matter. He uh his finals basketball, so it don't matter when he was doing what he wanted. Plus, that's a small guard. He ain't thinking about him.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so what are your guys' take for game four? Who do you guys think is gonna win? Jared, I'll let you go first. Spurs.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I think the Spurs also. Um I'm uh thinking that they know the style of play. I I don't think the Knicks are going to let it go as easy in the first half and has slow of a start, but I I think it's gonna be a great series, like still. I think this is well now the awakening of the series we anticipated it to be. And yeah, if Dylan Harper was five of eighteen, by the way. Like, if that kid has any more of those shots go down, it's game over. Also, we got our first appearance in the finals of which I'm very surprised he hasn't been in the court more. Jordan Clarkson, 10 points, uh, four of seven, two of two from three. Why was he not been in this whole series? But that's just me.
SPEAKER_04They use McBride, that's why they're the same player.
SPEAKER_02No, I think Jordan's better. Jordan's taller. Jordan is way taller and a better defender. And he's honestly he's a he's a walking bucket. McBride is not a walk. McBride is not a walking bucket. McBride had zero points last night.
SPEAKER_04That was the first time in how long? Seriously. Is that your point?
SPEAKER_02No, I'm just saying he had zero points last night. So he can't be a walking bucket. If you're a walking bucket, you always got points. It don't matter. You at least have two points.
SPEAKER_04So Jordan Clarkston hasn't gone scoreless for them. Not if he hasn't played.
SPEAKER_02Not if he hasn't played.
SPEAKER_04All right. That's that's different. That's different. They're using the volume shooter. That's it. Jordan Clarkston needs the ball in his hand to create. That's the difference. They want a volume shooter. They have Brunson to have the ball in his hand for that reason. That's why.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but at the end of the day, I that's why he should be in when I mean he's not a starter. I'm not saying that, but to your point, then he should be the person in while Jalen's out. Because then you're still running that same type of physical offense to get that kind of bruiser into that. Because then also, usually when Brunson's not on, Wimby's usually not on sometimes. So you could probably get a lot more of what you want in the hole.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Any other final thoughts for the NBA before we transfer to the NFL? Going once.
SPEAKER_02Uh, only other news we have is uh Giannis. There is news that he probably will not want to go to Boston. So everyone get that out of their mind. But they are saying the Miami Heats are a top destination for him.
SPEAKER_04So he'll be in the same situation. Which I was thinking as well.
SPEAKER_03Right. I think that wraps it up for our NBA. Uh tune in for NBA Finals Game 4 review in our next episode. So let's transfer over to NFL. Alright, so we will be discussing our AFC South schedule predictions.
SPEAKER_02Alright. We are taking this plane out to the AFC South. Starting with the first place, first to last last year, Jacksonville Jaguars. With now probably the worst haircut in football. Trevor Lawrence. And you made it a part of your schedule release, which even worse idea. Terrible. Got a man a bowl cut, would have been better. I'm just saying. Alright, starting out, week one at home against the Browns. That is a win.
SPEAKER_04Good win.
SPEAKER_02Uh week two. Kind of rough road. Uh actually, wow, their schedule gets pretty tough here. Uh week two is on the road in Denver, which I have as a loss.
SPEAKER_04I'll say they lose, but it'll be it'll be tight.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Uh week three at home. They are hosting the Patriots. I think they lose.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say they win barely.
SPEAKER_02All right. Uh then they go on the road to Cincinnati to face the Bengals, which I think is a loss.
SPEAKER_04They lose that game.
SPEAKER_02And here comes their favorite games of the year, I bet. Uh back to back considered home games in England. Uh, I think that they win both of these games because they are so used to these games now in the jet lag and the travel.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna lose one of these games. I'll say they lose to the Eagles, but then they win against the Texans.
SPEAKER_02Then they get a nice uh bye week.
SPEAKER_04Also, whoa, whoa, wait. Two games in England? Are they moving to England?
SPEAKER_02Is this it? They might as well. But they play I think they played a game every year there in for at least the last four or five seasons. I think since they started, they were one of the first teams. So um yeah, week seven, they get a nice bye after having to do some overseas traveling. Uh and then come back week eight at home to face the Colts, which I have as a win.
SPEAKER_04As a win.
SPEAKER_02Then uh on the road, week nine, they face the Ravens, which I have as a loss. Thursday night. Yeah, Thursday night football loss there. Uh week 10 on the road again in Tennessee, which I have as a loss. No, I'm just kidding. I'm sorry, it's a win. It's a win.
SPEAKER_04I was about to hop off the screen. Yeah, man. They win. No, you meant this week. This is the week they win.
SPEAKER_01We go to New York where they face the Giants, and they lose.
SPEAKER_05I knew he was waiting for it.
SPEAKER_02Jared, just stay your just say your piece.
SPEAKER_04I can't tell if you're being serious.
SPEAKER_02No, no, they're uh they're going to lose. I have that. I have that on the Giants schedule too.
SPEAKER_04So they're gonna win, man though. They're gonna win. All right.
SPEAKER_02Remember, it's New York in the cold.
SPEAKER_00Just saying.
SPEAKER_02I'm sorry, New Jersey in the cold. We gotta we gotta make sure destinations right now for where we call out stadiums. Well, I mean, you're you're like trending a little bit, so thank you. Thank you. Week 12. They are back at home facing the Titans again, which I have as another win for them.
SPEAKER_04I will I'm shocked. Yeah, they win that game.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Then they come on down, or I guess up to Chicago. Windy City.
SPEAKER_04Chicago or Indiana.
SPEAKER_02See, I knew you were gonna go there. We got we got Chicago at least for three more years, thank God. Uh, where they will lose to the Bears.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they're gonna lose.
SPEAKER_02Then we got uh Monday Night Football hosting the Steelers at home, where I think they'll win this one. I think they'll win this one.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna win.
SPEAKER_02Then week 15, they head to the Texans, where I think they lose this one after beating the Texans earlier. I have them winning both of the England games, so that's why.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say they win.
SPEAKER_02Then we go on the continue on the road trip to Dallas for Sunday night football, and I have that as a loss.
SPEAKER_04And this is why I say they lose. Because like they beat Houston, but they lose to Dallas.
SPEAKER_02Uh then we have week 17 TBD on exactly what day that'll be, but they are hosting the Washington Commanders, and that is a win.
SPEAKER_04Agreed.
SPEAKER_02And finally, on the road facing the Indianapolis Colts, where they win.
SPEAKER_04Agreed.
SPEAKER_03All right, so Jared or Cassius has the Jags going nine and eight. Jared has them going eleven and six. I have them going fourteen and three based off of my other schedules. You're going what? 14 and 3. That's what I have to put the schedule back up. I don't I don't think they actually will. I don't think they will. But I was just based off.
SPEAKER_02I don't think we're gonna put that back up. No, you gotta put it back up. I have to see this through. Don't even, don't even, we're not even gonna entertain it.
unknownWe're not even gonna entertain it.
SPEAKER_04I have I want to though.
SPEAKER_02It's we are gonna no, I just want you to keep it in your mind now so then when we redo this like closer to the season, and I want to hear how big of a difference it is. It's gonna be a huge difference. 14 and 3. You think they're winning it again.
SPEAKER_04They're going to the Super Bowl at this point.
SPEAKER_03No, okay. I'll tell you that I have them losing at the Broncos versus the Eagles and at the Bears. Those are those are definitely the three losses.
SPEAKER_02So you just think that they're gonna beat the Ravens, the Cowboys? You got a lot of teams for them to beat, dude. It's Texans twice. That's crazy with that defense, though.
SPEAKER_04They can beat the Texans twice. Let's call it what it is. They can beat them twice.
SPEAKER_02I gotta see CJ Stroud in in this year. I'm hoping the man has turned uh turned a corner. I don't know what was wrong with him last season. He unless unless he uh passed all his mojo to Caleb Williams. Then sorry, CJ.
SPEAKER_04Well, that the Madden curse is still very real, so it's not.
SPEAKER_02We talked about this. Mahomes ended the Madden curse.
SPEAKER_04Who was on it last year again?
SPEAKER_02Saquon.
SPEAKER_04Still in a thousand year season. Yeah, I mean, you know, it wasn't the same. It wasn't the same, but to each its own. Um, so anyway, the Texans, they start out week one at home versus the Bills. Big loss.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's a loss.
SPEAKER_04Then the Bengals come to town, and I'm gonna say that's another loss.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna say that's a loss. I'm yeah, I don't think they'll be able to keep up with the offense.
SPEAKER_04Then they go on the road versus the Colts, and they better win. That's all I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_02I have that as a win also.
SPEAKER_04Then they go across the street. Dallas comes to them, so it's uh week four, Dallas at home.
SPEAKER_02We got uh I think the Texans win this one at home.
SPEAKER_04I think they lose. Week five.
SPEAKER_02Let's see, we got the Titans on the road. Uh I have them winning that one.
SPEAKER_04I agree.
SPEAKER_02Uh, and then we got week six, uh, actually, which we talked about, them heading to England to face the Jags in one of their matchups. Uh I have them losing that one. You had them winning.
SPEAKER_04They yeah, I think they win. Week seven, you got the New York Giants coming to town. What you got?
SPEAKER_02I have them winning.
SPEAKER_04I agree. Then they get a bye week, and then they go on the road versus the Chargers. That's a loss in week nine.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I have that as a loss.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Week 10, they go on the road versus the Browns. That's a win.
SPEAKER_02It should be a win, but I am worried about it being cold November in Cleveland.
SPEAKER_04CJ Stroud played at Ohio State, bro. He's alright.
SPEAKER_02Bro, he's gonna get he got used to that to Texas heat, let me tell you. You play in a dome for too long, you don't play the same.
SPEAKER_04So, what you're saying is once y'all move to Indiana and the Bears get a dome, y'all gonna be ass against Green Bay again.
SPEAKER_02Well, remember, it's gonna be a retractable, so they're gonna want they'll be able to open it up to the elements if we want it, you know? We want a little snow game. They can do it if they want.
SPEAKER_04Nobody in their right mind with a retractable roof is going to welcome a snow game.
SPEAKER_02Why not?
SPEAKER_04Well, wait, Jared's got a good point.
SPEAKER_02Jared's got a point.
SPEAKER_04You know how many that would be.
SPEAKER_02There's only like two stadiums that really really deal with it. Actually, no, three. I'll say three. And they are uh the Patriots, Bears right now, and the Packers.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's accurate. Thursday night football, week 11. At home, they welcome the Colts. That's a win.
SPEAKER_00That's a win.
SPEAKER_04And then week 12, they welcome Baltimore. That's a loss.
SPEAKER_00I have that as a loss, too, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Then they get Sunday night football week 15 on the road versus the Steelers.
SPEAKER_02I think they win that one.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say they win. Whoa, whoa, wait. You got them win beating the Steelers. You you sounded very sure versus the Steelers, but not the Browns.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, that's different.
unknownI don't trust.
SPEAKER_04I'm not gonna do that.
SPEAKER_02I don't trust Aaron, dude. I trust I trust Shador more than I trust Aaron right now.
SPEAKER_04So it might be Deshaun.
SPEAKER_02Cleveland is praying he beats Deshaun. Also, real real quick uh funny update. Uh I don't know if you guys saw the update from uh their new their new uh acquired defensive inn, Jared Verse, and the interview where they asked him if he was gonna pay Dylan Gabriel for his jersey number, and instead he said pretty much no, I'm just gonna wear the number. And they literally both showed up to practice with the same number.
SPEAKER_04Dylan Gabriel might as well give it up.
SPEAKER_02He he's going to have to. He made a comment saying that he uh expected Jared to at least talk to him about giving it, and Jared said, I'm good, dude.
SPEAKER_04Just you're just gonna give it to me. Bro, might as well Bro might as well put a one in front of that eight and call it a day. Just give it up. Just give it up so then week 14, they go on the road versus the commanders.
SPEAKER_02Uh, I got that as a win.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say they lose that one. Say they lose. Then they go home. Jacksonville comes to town week 15. They lose that one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think they lose.
SPEAKER_04Then they got two primetime games in a row. They got Thursday night versus the Eagles. Uh Christmas Eve game, might I add. That's a loss.
SPEAKER_00Uh, yeah, I have that as a loss, too.
SPEAKER_04And then they go to Lambeau on Monday night, week 17. That's a loss.
SPEAKER_02That's a win. Uh you're forgetting, uh, we don't know if Mika's even gonna be Mika.
SPEAKER_04Why do you keep first off, why do you keep calling Mika? Mika. Like, it is Micah. Because it doesn't matter. If he ever list what do you mean it doesn't matter? If he ever listens to this, I hope he caught he makes that.
SPEAKER_02I'm sorry, Micah. Just don't come back in time so the Bears can be in first place.
SPEAKER_04Anyway, and then they close the season out against the Titans at home with a win. Agreed.
SPEAKER_03But I adjusted two of your guys' guesses only based off of uh your predictions for the Jags. So um like it was week. What is that one? Six. Jared, you said they were gonna win. The Jags were gonna win, so the Texans were gonna lose. And then towards the end, Cassius, you said uh the Texans were gonna lose, and the Jags were gonna lose, and Texans were gonna win. So I switched those. Okay. Alright, so Cassius has the Texans going eleven and six. Jared has them going seven and ten. I have them going 12 and 10. Jesus, Jared.
SPEAKER_04You said seven and ten?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dog. I was like 11 and 6 sounds about right. I mean for me at least.
SPEAKER_04Maybe you should have left the schedule up for me. Alrighty.
SPEAKER_02We have the temporary first place cults for most of the season until they fell apart and had injuries.
SPEAKER_04Due to injury.
SPEAKER_02Yep, take care of them. Alright, starting out at home against the Baltimore Ravens. They lose.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I agree.
SPEAKER_02Uh week two, they go into Kansas City for Sunday night football. Where they lose again.
SPEAKER_04Well, are you saying Patrick Mahomes is playing or not?
SPEAKER_02I think he'll be playing by week two.
SPEAKER_04Just not week one? Nope. You're rage baiting me, bro. I'm done. I'm so done, bro. Oh my god. They lose.
SPEAKER_02Alright, week three. Coming back home to face the Texans, where they lose again.
SPEAKER_04Agreed.
SPEAKER_02Then technically a road game, but it's a road game for both of them. They head to London to face the Washington Commanders. Where I think they lose again.
SPEAKER_04But because we don't know, I'm gonna say they lose.
SPEAKER_02Week five, still on the road, and they head to Pittsburgh, where I think they lose again.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they lose.
SPEAKER_02Then they finally come back home to face the Tennessee Titans where they get a win for the season.
SPEAKER_04I agree.
SPEAKER_02They then head into Minnesota right around the time where Kyle Murley, uh Kyler Murray will be preparing for Call of Duty. So I think that the Indianapolis Colts win this one.
SPEAKER_04There's no way that you think they lose to the Commanders. They lose to Pittsburgh, beat the Titans, but then they lose to Minnesota.
SPEAKER_02It's football. I mean, win. There's one-offs every game. There's one-offs every season, dude. I'm picking my prediction. That's what it is. That's fair. You are. You are. We saw it. We see it every season. Not every game goes so how we think it is. They lose. If that was the case, the Bears and the Jaguars would have not been in first place last year. Or the Patriots. But they had an easy season.
SPEAKER_04They lose.
SPEAKER_02Anyway. Exactly. And on the road again, they head to Jacksonville, where they lose. Again.
SPEAKER_04They lose.
SPEAKER_02Week nine, they host the Dallas Cowboys, where they lose. Yeah, they lose. Week 10, they then host the Miami Dolphins, where they win this one.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they win.
SPEAKER_02Week 11, they then have a Thursday night matchup in Houston to face the Texans. Where they lose.
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02Then they host the New York Giants.
SPEAKER_04Your Thursday night. Where they lose. This is the one I have to agree with them on when it comes to the Giants, but that's it. For now.
SPEAKER_02Week 13 is a bye week. So they then have to go then on the road at the Philadelphia Eagles where they lose. Week 15, they then head to Tennessee to face the Titans where they win.
SPEAKER_04Yep.
SPEAKER_02And then they are hosting, as of right now, TBD, at the Cincinnati Bengals, where Joe Burrow comes to town and beats them. So that's a loss. Then they go on the road to face the Cleveland Browns, which I think they should be able to win this one.
SPEAKER_04You think they should be able to win. You know what? Since he had one, since they're all one-offs, Nando, the Browns are gonna win.
SPEAKER_02I wouldn't say they're all one-offs, but there are some ones that you're like, eh, you never know. And finally, week 18, we have against the Jacksonville Jaguars where they lose at home for their final game of the season.
SPEAKER_04I agree.
SPEAKER_03Alright, Cassius has the Colts going uh 5-12, Jared 3-14, I have them going 4-13. Okay.
SPEAKER_02That one's pretty self-explanatory. Sorry, sorry, Indianapolis fans. I guess if the Bears move to Indiana, you'll have another team to root for. It'll still be Chicago.
SPEAKER_04Could you imagine? I mean, I feel like I would flip too if I was a Colts fan.
SPEAKER_02You just join, you just say you're a Chicago fan.
SPEAKER_04I would. I would, but like the games, I can see each game. It doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_02Well, no, I mean they have to drive two and a half hours still.
SPEAKER_04I would become a I would become a Bears fan at that moment.
SPEAKER_02I would too. We should trade for Jonathan Taylor. Just bring him over.
SPEAKER_04Y'all still rocking with Swift, ain't you?
SPEAKER_02Yep. And uh and Bonte running it back, running back with those two. Alright, finally, our last place team. Probably gonna be last place again.
SPEAKER_04They start off at home versus the Jets, week one. That's a win.
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah, that's a win.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And then week two. This this schedule with the home and away colors, they they did not do a great job. I'm just throwing that up. But uh week two, it's like they're at home. They're at home versus the Eagles, where they get curb stomped.
SPEAKER_00That's a loss. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Week three. They are away. Thank you. Versus Cassie's third favorite team, the Giants. And you know what they lose? Yep. Um, and then week four. Away versus the Ravens, which is a loss.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04Then they come home, the Texans come there, curb stomp them. It's another loss.
SPEAKER_00I have that as a loss also.
SPEAKER_04And then they play the Colts on the road. I think, I think I said they they lose this game.
SPEAKER_02That's gonna be, yeah, that's gonna be a loss for them.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they lose this game. And then they play the Browns week seven. That is, you know what? That's a loss. Shador versus Ward. And Shador edges him out.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna tell you it's a win.
SPEAKER_04It's a loss. And then they go to Cincinnati, to you guessed it, lose again. That's a loss for sure. To Joe Bear. They start off 0-8. Since I am a Lions fan, I know how to do it.
SPEAKER_02Your rage for Aaron Glenn makes reaches no bounds.
SPEAKER_04Because, bro, everybody acts like he's that good. He's not. He's not. Anyway.
SPEAKER_00I can't wait to talk about that.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god. Didn't I predict uh week three he gets fired?
unknownWeek three.
SPEAKER_04Uh-huh. So, anyway, then you got uh week 10 versus the Jags, they lose that game.
SPEAKER_02Yep, that's at home, and I agree. That's loss.
SPEAKER_04Week 11 versus Cowboys on the road, they lose.
SPEAKER_02Agreed.
SPEAKER_04Week 12 versus the Jags. You guessed it, they lose. Agreed. Week 13 versus the Commanders on at home, they lose.
SPEAKER_02Agreed.
SPEAKER_04Then they come to Detroit. Week 14. It's another loss.
SPEAKER_00It's a win. No, I'm just kidding, it's a loss. I just want to see his face.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, just look at him. Just look at him on the camera.
SPEAKER_04Can't even take him serious, bro. Week 15, they go. They the Colts come to them, and I think they're gonna lose.
SPEAKER_00I have them losing that one for sure.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, they're gonna lose that one. And then week 16 versus the Raiders. They you know what? They should win.
SPEAKER_00I think they win this one, also.
SPEAKER_04They win this one. And then week 17 versus the Steelers. Um they lose.
SPEAKER_00Yep, they lose this one.
SPEAKER_04And then to be determined, week 18 versus the Texans, they lose again.
unknownUh, I agree.
SPEAKER_03Alright. Cassius has the Titans going 3-14. Jared, you have them going 2-15. I have them going three and fourteen. Nice.
SPEAKER_02Uh, and then of course, looking at what they have as the over-unders for each team uh just to see where we're kind of laying. And that's what I mean, Jared, because the over-unders were usually the teams we've been predicting only get two to three wins. A lot of the over-unders are like five, five and a half. So that's there is those games where they're just like, they could probably win this one, maybe. And you kind of gotta almost give up.
SPEAKER_04You ain't had to do a lot of explanation. I know what it is.
SPEAKER_02I'm just saying, but it is Houston Texans over under nine and a half. The Indianapolis Colts over under seven and a half. Pretty much right where we kind of got them. Jacksonville Jaguars over under eight and a half. So they're already predicting the Texans. And finally, the Tennessee Titans over under six and a half.
SPEAKER_04They're not winning six games.
SPEAKER_02You take it, dude.
SPEAKER_04How many did they win last year? Two? Three. Three and fourteen. Back to back three and fourteen seasons. Hell no, they ain't they ain't winning. They're not winning six games. I mean, I don't think anyone win six games in two more years.
SPEAKER_03Didn't the Browns win five last year?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03I believe so. I don't think anyone expected that. They did win five last year.
SPEAKER_02Jets won three, Raiders won three, Titans won three.
SPEAKER_03All right. Well, that was our AFC West schedule predictions. Next, we will talk about NFL news and updates. Alright, so the latest NFL news, uh, Bengals restructured Joe Burroughs contract to free up cap space. Bengals will gain 10 million in cap space for the upcoming season. Both the Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez and the Seahawks cornerback Devin Witherspoon are both seeking uh contract extensions, followed by pass the mic to Cassius. Cassius has some good, juicy, latest NFL news.
SPEAKER_02All right, we have our smartest NFL player of the week. Of the week, which is, as you guys can probably tell, not the case. Um, Broncos, Jonathan Cooper, and his girlfriend, we'll leave her name out, she doesn't need to be in this, both arrested after she decided to go through his phone and he decided to eat her phone. Yes, people, you heard that right. So might be wildest story. Might be the wildest story of this football season. So we'll it's up there. Like he must he must have some stuff on it. Like he he he chewed it? I'm wondering if he either chewed it or did he just straight deep throat the entire phone. Just one and he said I couldn't say what I said. How else is that phone gonna go down, dude? Hopefully, hopefully he drinks some water or something.
SPEAKER_03Oh, he just he just Patrick Starr, just like a Krabby Patty, just straight down.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Just a yeah, he's doing he's doing a lot more than I ever did, bro. Take it home, bro.
SPEAKER_03Also, uh Rams left tackle, Alaric Jackson was arrested for felony domestic violence charges late Monday night as well. But, you know, we do have a little bit of time, so I wanted to quickly discuss top five trade candidates in landing spots. So the top five that uh Fox NFL has are linebacker Jordan Brooks, who plays for the Miami Dolphins, possibly going to the Dallas Cowboys. There's running back Alvin Kamara for the Saints, possibly going to the Bills. QB Anthony Richardson for the Colts, possibly going to the Lions. That's another take for another day. Wide receiver Brandon Ayuk for the 49ers, possibly going to the Commanders, and then Edge Kayvon, uh geez, how do you Yes. Thank you.
SPEAKER_04Let me get this straight. You could say Thibodeau's name, but you can't say Micah.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes it just comes out, okay. It's not like I do it on purpose. I will get better for Micah, because you just said it that way. Is it Mika or Micah? See, exactly. Now you're confusing me. See, it's Micah. So yeah, you confuse. So yeah, so we'll get it right.
SPEAKER_03All right. Well, uh, yes, they have Edge K Von Thibodeau. How do you say it? How do you say it again? Thibodeau. Yeah. Thibodeau. Going or plays for the Giants, possibly going to the Patriots. So yeah. Are there any?
SPEAKER_02I mean, I I I don't know. Alvin Kamara would be interesting. I don't see him going to the Bills, though. I I think so as well. I think he needs to go somewhere where they definitely need more running back help. And him paired with um Zach Charbonnet would be, I think, much better pairing. They do play very very similar, but I still think that Alvin is still the every down back compared to Zach Charbonnet. I don't think Zach can handle that load. Brandon Ayuk, I that's kind of slightly confirmed-ish to him going to the commanders. They did say he started following Jaden Daniels as well as the Washington organization and pretty much unfollowed everyone on the San Francisco team. So that one I do see happening. Kavon to the Pats would be uh very interesting. Uh I I think he's a great player for an edge rush. And I don't necessarily know why you would give up a piece like that, who's only R. I think he's R. I think he's still got two years under his contract. And especially to the Patriots who just made it to the Super Bowl. I'm not I'm not for helping a team that just made it to the big dance. Like and then Anthony Richardson to the Lions, uh Jared, that's that's all you.
SPEAKER_04I we don't we don't want him. Keep going.
SPEAKER_02Okay, that's what I thought.
SPEAKER_04He can't throw, he can't read a defense. Yeah, he always hurt. How are you that big and you get hurt every snap? It don't matter. Keep going.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, if anyone should be trading for Anthony Richardson, it should be the Falcons.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02That's the only team that should be taking a chance on that man right now.
SPEAKER_03Right. Are there any other final news that you guys could think of?
SPEAKER_02Uh I would like to say I'm wearing this shirt in honor of Jared. Uh, it was my Haley Von Lith Chicago Sky shirt supporting WNBA. Uh, unfortunately, she is not on the Chicago Sky anymore. But she's still with Connecticut Sun on a development contract. So you got this, Haley, after that terrible injury. Uh, and yeah, we still support you here in the Shy.
