We breakdown our last division for schedule predictions, the AFC West, and give you the latest news in the NFL, NBA, and....the FIFA World Cup !

This is, Between the Coasts.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to another episode of Between the Coast. I'm your host, Fernando, with our stars Cassius and Jared. Today we will be finishing our NFL schedule predictions, finishing with the AFC West, followed by NFL news and NBA news to end the show. Let's get into it. We will start with the Broncos today. Mr. Bo Nicks and the Broncos.

SPEAKER_02

Hopefully he'll be back for week one.

SPEAKER_03

So we got the Broncos starting off going to Kansas City. They're going to be playing at Arrowhead week one. It's Monday night.

SPEAKER_02

I really still don't think Patrick Mahomes will be back. I think Broncos will win. I think Bo Nicks will be back. I don't think Pat will be back.

SPEAKER_03

I'm going to say Pat's back. Chiefs win. And then week two, they are at home versus Jacksonville. Who you got? I have the I got them winning that one too. Week three. I think there will be a consensus here. The Rams come to town. Guess. Big L on the board. It's a loss. I agree. And that's Sunday night, too. They start off with Kansas City, Jacksonville, and the Rams. That's that's tough.

SPEAKER_04

And San Fran.

SPEAKER_03

And San Fran. They go to San Francisco for week four. I'm gonna say they lose that game, too. I'm gonna say they lose also. And then it gets worse. Week five, they go to the Chargers.

SPEAKER_02

Um I think they lose this one.

SPEAKER_03

I agree. That's tough. That's a tough five-game stretch. It's a tough six-game stretch. Because then Seattle comes to town. I'm I feel like they're gonna do so much losing, they're gonna lose that one. I think they lose that one.

SPEAKER_02

Thursday night game? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

They got, I feel like Jacksonville, that that's just a tough stretch right there. Dang. And then they get another W finally versus the uh this the Arizona for me, week seven. I don't know what you got, guys.

SPEAKER_02

That's a that's a win.

SPEAKER_03

I agree at Arizona. And then Kansas City comes to the mile high city. What you got for week eight?

SPEAKER_02

They win that one. They'll sweep Kansas City this year. Only because he doesn't play in the first one. Mahomes is gonna be.

SPEAKER_03

I think they split it. I think I'll give Denver this one. Then we have week nine at Carolina. That should be a win. I agree. Then they get a bye week, week 10, week 11, Vegas comes to town. Big win.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a win.

SPEAKER_03

Week 12, they go to Pittsburgh. I'm gonna say they win that game. That's a Black Friday game.

SPEAKER_02

Black Friday game, and I agree they also win that one.

SPEAKER_03

Then Miami in December comes to Denver. We know what that's gonna look like. Yeah, it's uh that's a win. That's a win. And then December 13th, week 14, at the Jets. They better win. I know that much. That should be a win. And then they go to Vegas to whoop on the Raiders some more on week 15. That's a win. And then Josh Allen comes to town in week 16. Cass, what you got? Christmas Day is a loss for the fans in Denver. Sorry. I agree. And then they go to New England, week 17. Cass, what you got?

SPEAKER_02

I think that's a loss.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna say it's a loss, too. And then they finish up week 18 with uh the Chargers coming to town.

SPEAKER_02

I think they win at home.

SPEAKER_00

I think they're they'll win that one. They'll win. Nando, what we got?

SPEAKER_02

Let me leave it up just in case Nando says some wild, some wild numbers for his team.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think he's gonna give a wild one though on this one.

SPEAKER_01

I know I am only because I went off of all my other schedules. But uh I don't even want to tell you guys, mine. No, no, no. Say it with your chest.

SPEAKER_02

That's not the game. That's not the game here, sir.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, so Cassius has the Broncos going 11 and 6. Jared, you have them going at 10 and 7. Uh I have them going 15 and 2.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, God. Who are they beating? You got them beating San Francisco, don't you?

SPEAKER_02

That's you have them. Actually, who are your only two losses? That's my okay, that works, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Week one at the Chiefs and the first game at Chargers.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, you got You got them being the Rams, same frame. Your your Buffalo Bills?

SPEAKER_01

And the Bills.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's kinda that's kind of wild.

SPEAKER_01

I see it. Yeah, I mean, like I said, I went off of all my other schedules, so.

SPEAKER_02

I like it. He's getting saucy. We're still early. We can still be a little saucy. It's a take. Alright. Nando, who we got next? We have second place chargers.

SPEAKER_01

My Chargers. My LA Chargers. Thoughts were a Bills fan. Uh that's that's my bandwagon fan. You know, I really like Josh Allen. I want him to win one. I've always wanted him to win.

SPEAKER_02

I feel that way too. And I love his wife. She's great.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Especially in Spider-Man. She's a true one.

SPEAKER_03

Alright then. We got the Chargers. Yes, sir. Week one. They go to Arizona. No, no, no. They're at home, right? Is that at home?

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. My bad, my bad. Yep. So they go. They go. They're at home versus the Cardinals. I got that as a win, Cass. What do you say?

SPEAKER_02

That's an easy win for them to start the season.

SPEAKER_03

They get two easy wins because the Raiders come in week two.

SPEAKER_02

That's also an easy win.

SPEAKER_03

And then week three at Buffalo. What you got? Yeah, that's a loss. I agree. And then week four at Seattle. What you got? I can't remember my Seattle picks, but I want to say that they beat Seattle for some reason. I don't know why I feel like I think it's the same as you. I think I had them win it. Um and then Broncos come to uh the Chargers week five. Cass, what you got? Uh I had them winning that one. You had them winning that one. I think we had them splitting. Um and then the week six at Kansas City. Cass, what you got?

SPEAKER_02

Uh I have I have them losing that one. That's a loss.

SPEAKER_03

They always lose in Kansas City at the last minute. They always lose at the last minute. So I agree.

SPEAKER_02

And I think he'll be back by then.

SPEAKER_03

Patty Patty back will be back. Yeah. Week seven by week. Week eight, they play at the Rams. That's a loss. Yeah, that's a loss. Week nine, the Texans come to town. Uh that could go either way. That's a trap game.

SPEAKER_02

It really could. I'm gonna say they lose that one.

SPEAKER_03

Phil like you're saying if they I agree. I can't.

SPEAKER_02

It's a trap game after the Rams. I think the Texans are gonna bounce back this year. I really think they're gonna have a way better season than last year. It's 100% dependent on CJ Stroud, but it's it's very possible.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna say they win this game versus the Texans because week 10, they go to Baltimore. And I think they lose. I think they win. Nice. Nice. Week 11. They play, they're at home against the Jets. What you got?

SPEAKER_02

Uh uh that is going to be a win.

SPEAKER_03

That's a win. Week 12. Uh Patriots come to the crib. Cass, what you think?

SPEAKER_02

I think that's a loss for them.

SPEAKER_03

You think they lose? I'm gonna say they win. I'm gonna say they beat the Patriots. Week 13. Uh, they go to Tampa. What you got? Oh, uh is this an international game?

SPEAKER_02

10 a.m. I'm gonna say, you know what? It's probably because they're going off of uh LA time. So it's 10 a.m. for them, even because they're playing on the East Coast. Uh, but yeah, I'm gonna say they win that one.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they win that one. Uh week 14 at the Raiders.

SPEAKER_02

That's a win.

SPEAKER_03

I agree. Uh week 15 at home versus the 49ers. I'm gonna say they lose. Yeah, that's a loss. Um week 16, they go to Miami. I'm gonna say that's a win. And then week 17, they the Chiefs come to town. Cass, what you got? Oh.

SPEAKER_02

I think they were split.

SPEAKER_03

I agree. They all split. And then week 18. This is a loss for them. I think I had it as a loss too.

SPEAKER_00

Uh well, however it was, it was a split.

SPEAKER_01

Right, so Cassius has the charges going nine and eight. Jared, you have them going eleven and six. I have them going eleven and six.

SPEAKER_03

I can definitely see nine and eight, though.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_00

I I can see honestly, I can see that. Yeah, nine nine and eight or eleven and six is very possible with them. Oh, it's been pretty mid.

SPEAKER_02

Now, onward to our third place team, everyone was surprised about the Kansas City Chiefs.

SPEAKER_03

The high school schedule.

SPEAKER_02

I know. Worst schedule I've seen so far. This is just to let everyone know, this is their schedule that they decided to put on their website. I had to find. Listen, they're a dynasty. They don't really care. Week one. Bring in Denver to them for a Monday night game, and I have this as a loss for them.

SPEAKER_03

Big win. Big win, Nando. Write it down. Mahomes will not be there, in my opinion. Mahomes will be there.

SPEAKER_02

Week two. At home again. Bring in the Colts to Kansas City with a win for them.

SPEAKER_03

That's a win.

SPEAKER_02

Another primetime game, too. Only six days in between. Uh, week three, they are heading to Miami, where they should beat the brakes off that team, and that will be a win. Agreed. Week four, we have them going to Las Vegas, where they will win that game as well. It'd start three and one before they head to their week five bye-week. Week six. Los Angeles Chargers come into town, and we have that as a win for them. As a win. Yep. Now, week seven. They head to Seattle. Where I have that as a loss.

SPEAKER_03

This is a trap game. I think they do lose.

SPEAKER_02

Week eight at Denver, which I had as a loss. They win this game. Week nine, uh, Jets come to town and they win that one. Yeah, they win. Week ten, they head to Atlanta. Where they win. Yeah, it's a win. They face the two left-handed quarterbacks that will both probably lose that job by the end of the season. Week 11. We then have the Cardinals coming into town where they win again. And probably one of the most anticipated games of the season. Week 12. They head into Buffalo at the new high mark stadium where they will lose.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they're probably gonna lose that. They're gonna lose that game.

SPEAKER_02

Week 13, uh, on the road again at the Los Angeles Rams, where they will lose again.

SPEAKER_03

They're gonna lose that game.

SPEAKER_02

Two back-to-back prompt. This stretch is actually their hardest stretch. This is what kind of makes their makes or breaks their season, because they're on the road again in week 14, heading to Cincinnati to face Joe Burr. Mean Joe, is his new name this season because he wants he said he'll be mean this year. Uh, and said we should be talking about him more. So you're welcome, Joe. We're talking about you. And I think they lose to this one also.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I just don't see them losing those three games. I uh they're gonna win one of those games, and it's either it's not gonna be the Rams, but it's either gonna be Buffalo or Cincinnati. So since I said Buffalo beats them, I'm gonna say Cincinnati gets the dub. I mean, but they beat Cincinnati. I totally said that in reverse. All good. We caught ourselves, though. We caught ourselves. They're gonna beat Cincinnati.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Week 15. Uh, they are back at home facing the New England Patriots, where I think that they will win that one.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they're gonna win.

SPEAKER_02

But even though they're at home, they got another tough opponent coming in where they face the San Francisco 49ers, and I think they lose.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I'm gonna say they lose because I was reminded today, you know, scrolling TikTok, that Mike Evans is on that team, and I completely forget about it every time every time. That team is stacked. Yeah, so they're gonna they're gonna lose that game.

SPEAKER_02

Week 17. We then have them heading to Los Angeles to face the Chargers, where they will lose that game.

SPEAKER_03

They're gonna lose.

SPEAKER_02

And finally, week 18 against the Las Vegas Raiders coming to KC where they will win, and maybe people will get to see Fernando Mendoza play in that game.

SPEAKER_03

So don't nobody want to see Fernando Mendoza.

SPEAKER_02

Raiders fans do. Raiders fans. And actually all of Indiana. All of Indiana does, too.

SPEAKER_03

All of Indiana does, but the Raiders fans do until they don't, because I still think they're gonna be pretty bad.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but that's the end of the day, he's not playing. I'm saying that might be the first time you see him because at the end of the day, they're they already said they're gonna try to keep Kirk Cousins in as long as possible because they do not want to risk that kid.

SPEAKER_03

I hear you. It just never works out that way in this day and age.

SPEAKER_02

It doesn't trust me, I know.

SPEAKER_03

I get week five, he's gonna be in there. I don't think it'll be that early. I'm thinking like week ten. Write it down, Nando. Write it down exactly where it's gonna be.

SPEAKER_01

Cassius has the Chiefs going nine and eight. Jared, you have them going 11 and 6. I have the Chiefs going 12 and 5.

SPEAKER_02

Alright. All depends on Patty Mahomes. And honestly, if that line can protect him this year. So but again, speaking of our last place team, the Las Vegas Raiders, with their newly, actually, both new quarterbacks at the helm, Kirk Cousins and first pick overall, Fernando Mendoza. Uh, week one. We are starting at home against the Miami Dolphins. I think they start off with a loss, unfortunately.

SPEAKER_03

I'm glad you did all that for dramatic effect and you said the right answer.

SPEAKER_02

Week two, they are starting their two-game road stint, starting at the Chargers, where they lose again. Then week three. I think it's a more of a winnable game for them. They're heading to New Orleans, but I still think that New Orleans is the better team, and they still end up losing that game. Couldn't agree more. Week four, they come back home only to see a team they don't want to see in the Kansas City Chiefs, where they lose again and start 0-4. Week five, they head to New England, that's a loss. Week six, they come home to face the Bills, that is a loss. And then week seven, they face the Rams at home, and that is a loss. What a terrible 0-7 start. Which, you know, Jared, you might be right. You might be right after that. 0-7's a tough way to start for Kirk Cousins. Week eight. They head to the Jets where they win. This is the first win. I got him.

SPEAKER_03

I'm going to say that they lose.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Alright. Week nine. Still on the road, and they head to San Fran. And they lose.

SPEAKER_03

Back on this losing streak. It's still it's still going on over here.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Week 10. They then head to face the Super Bowl champ. Seattle comes to them and doesn't matter because they still lose. Week 11. They then go to Denver to lose again. Week 12. They head to Cleveland. Where it this one's gonna lose. This one's hit or miss, but I think they're gonna lose. They're gonna lose. This I think they're gonna lose. But remember, they don't have Miles Garrett. It's a Jared Verse defensive led now. So it's I don't know why people are acting like Jared Verse is trash. I'm not saying that.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't say you said that, but I that's Garrett. But he's only Miles Garrett has also played what we in year nine. Jared Verse is only a year going into year three.

SPEAKER_02

His fifth-year contract. That's why they wanted to trade him because then he'll be able to re-sign with the Browns after the season with his big contract. Uh then we have a week 13 bye. And here walks in Fernando Mendoza to give the Raiders hope. But not for these first two games. Because they start a three-game home streak with the Los Angeles Chargers beating them at home. I agree. Week 15, still at home. Denver Broncos come to town where they lose again. And here we go. Week 16. Tennessee Titans walk into town. Their last home game of the season. Fernando Mendoza gets them a win. I agree. Week 17 at the Arizona Cardinals. They win. Because it'll be their final win of the season.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, you know what? I'm going to say that they win because it's they really only could win three games the Jets, the Titans, or the Cardinals. And so I'll say they win against the Cardinals and it leaves them feeling.

SPEAKER_02

I think honestly, depending on how well this team does, they did make a lot of changes. Like they uh they did a lot of signings. And of course, once we start getting into the team breakdowns um later in like a month or so, like we'll see that you know, once we do this again, I think they have at least a chance to win five or six. Because the Dolphins, the first game, the Saints, the Browns, and then of course those three teams the Cardinals, the Titans, and the Jets, of course. Those are all, I think, winnable versus the rest. Their division, of course, is also one of the toughest, but uh week 18, course, Kansas City. That's a loss. That is a loss because you ain't winning on that last game. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Nando, break it down.

SPEAKER_01

All right, Cassius has the Raiders going at 3-14. Jared, you have them going at 2-15. I think they're gonna go 0-17.

SPEAKER_03

Let's go, Nando. Let's go! He said it. He said it with his chest. That's what I'm talking about.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I don't think, see, I don't think they're the worst team. I think, honestly, I think the Jets and the Cardinals are are worse on both sides than what the Raiders are right now, especially because Max Crosby is still there.

SPEAKER_03

Think about how bad I think the Raiders are if I had them losing to the Jets. That's all the things.

SPEAKER_02

That's my point. But you like I said, I feel like we got to dive into what they did in the offseason because they had a very good offseason with what they signed for off-offensive lineman and defensive player, and technically they still have Max Crosby. So again, I'm I think that they have a chance to at least win. I'm not saying they're gonna be uh surprised.

SPEAKER_03

Last point, but they might do better than what we think. Last point. They're still gonna try to get up off Max Crosby somehow, some way. That would be just like they did, Mike in Chicago.

SPEAKER_02

I already have hit here our over-under predictions uh for win totals so far. Uh Denver Broncos, they have overunder nine and a half. So pretty much kind of right where we were.

SPEAKER_00

Kansas City, over under ten and a half, pretty much right where we have them. Las Vegas Raiders. Over under five and a half. And the Los Angeles Chargers over under 9.5.

SPEAKER_02

So pretty much where we kind of had all three of those teams.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, as I said, with the Raiders, very possible to win five, six games. Right, we will transition to NFL news at this time.

SPEAKER_02

Um so, starting, Joe Burrow. As I mentioned, he wants us to talk about him. He said he's gonna be mean this year because he says this is gonna be the same vibe as his LSU run. So that's a little scary. Um, I do see a lot of similarities, but the defense is something that still needs to see if that's gonna be the same thing. Um, so that's that's definitely gonna be interesting to see. But uh Joe is a lot of confidence this season, and I I believe him. As long as he stays healthy, because that's the biggest thing. Also, Sauce Gardner of the Indianapolis Colts. Did you know that he's actually 24? Because according to all of every single report out there, he's only 25, but he said ask his mama if you don't believe him. Uh, but he is 24 years old, which is great for the Colts. They have an extra year with this guy now. Titans also sign defensive tackle Simmons to a three-year extension, $100 million guaranteed. Uh, that is definitely a star player for them to keep. Uh, and there is a current uh quarterback for Cincinnati. Uh that is named. Do you know this name? Jared, who I'm talking about? Brandon Soresby. Brendan Soresby is pretty big news. He is changing the way a lot of people consider sports, and mostly it's just Cincinnati and that judge, who are honestly ruining what sports is. Uh, if people don't know, Brendan Soresby is a quarterback. It was actually trying to come back for another season. He spent the last two seasons playing for Cincinnati, but uh was not eligible for the draft and not allowed to come back because he made over 9,000 bets on multiple sports, including his own team. And uh, yeah, they are now trying to say, hey, he has a problem. So because he has a gambling problem, that means it's something that is different than anyone else who's done a gamble and is an athlete at the same time. Um, so he is actually going to potentially be getting a uh combine, he's actually getting a pro day for himself, and they are adding what they call a supplemental draft, where there are certain players they do this for, where all 32 teams, if wanting to, can sacrifice a pick in next year's draft to take this kid. And there are, of course, some core uh a lot of teams interested because some people are saying that this kid is first round talent, third round. But I'm gonna watch his pro day. We'll have more updates then. But uh yeah, that one's probably some of the biggest news here. It's it's revolutionizing the way we look at this this sport um and how we look at betting in sports, because now if you're telling me that you can bet 9,000 times in a couple seasons, even though you're playing in some of those games, and you can just say, Hey, I gotta bet, I gotta gambling, it could go down a very slippery slope for the rest of sports and the rest of betting allowed in that.

SPEAKER_03

So at least he was betting on his team to win.

SPEAKER_02

That's true.

SPEAKER_03

That is true.

SPEAKER_02

That would be kind of crazy.

SPEAKER_03

If he was betting on them to lose and he was throwing, like, and I think that's part of it. Like, if he was betting on them to lose and they was losing, people would be like, he's throwing games. He was betting on them to win and balling out. Right. That's true. That's true.

SPEAKER_02

That's a valid point. Um, Rasheed Rice is finally out. He's free, y'all. He's free, he can work on that knee.

SPEAKER_03

Because he's gonna need it. You gotta leave Rasheed Rice alone, bro. You you gotta leave him alone. He can't leave himself alone, dude. Oh my god. He makes it too easy.

SPEAKER_00

He makes it too easy for me. We will quickly transfer over to the NBA news. Right, and I'm gonna pass the mic back to Cassius for our latest NBA news.

SPEAKER_02

Uh McCollum is staying with the Hawks on a one-year extension.

SPEAKER_03

Don't move the needle, but keep going.

SPEAKER_02

Doesn't move it at all. We also have Trey Young. It's kind of interesting. He declined his option to become a free agent, but the rumor is that he might actually still be wanting to sign with the Wizards. To just sign a new contract with them, which it'll be interesting depending on what they do with Darien Peterson and if they actually decide to take him with their first pick. Darien Peterson gotta want to play. According to him, I don't think he wants to play unless he's the first pick. Because he said he hasn't met with any other team other than Washington, which is crazy. And if I was the Washington Wizards, if you do not take Boozer or AJ over him, guess what?

SPEAKER_00

You're gonna be out of the playoffs for another 10 years. Yeah, pretty much.

SPEAKER_02

Uh, so we actually have uh Brunson bringing up a very, very valid point about an ESPN analyst who I thought was kind of nice to have on ESPN. I thought he was giving good takes until he made this take. Uh Goodwill mentioned that because of the last eight championships all being different teams, that technically it should be considered a partition participation trophy.

SPEAKER_00

I'm sorry. What?

SPEAKER_02

That sounds like a man who's never played professional sports or played sports in general, in that matter.

SPEAKER_03

Or just a dumbass, because that was the most stupidest thing anybody said.

SPEAKER_02

Uh, he needs to step away for a little bit because, and I know he was making some jokes during the parade and stuff about it and mentioning, but at the end of the day, the amount of talent in the NBA and the way that the NBA has changed not only the lottery and draft, and their whole system is in place to actually create what's been created now, which is not having as many dynasty wins and multi-championship teams back to back to back. So for you to even say it's a participation trophy, not only uh disrespects the last eight champions, but it disrespects the sport in general. Like, there is no way that you thinking someone making it not only to the NBA finals, but winning the NBA finals is a participation trophy. We are talking about the greatest league for basketball in the entire world. And last time I checked, the Knicks didn't do it easily either. They did it resoundly, they did it without fault those first two games, and then only lost one more game after that to the Spurs. Like, so just wanted to bring it up. You know it's crazy when Kendrick Perkins is making sense and said pretty much the same thing. Like, this honestly, Kendrick Perkins has gotten way better over the years. I I can't believe I'm admitting to it, but he has become a real analyst and goodwill. You need to go to Cancun. You take a break, sir. Take a break.

SPEAKER_03

It can't be a participation trophy if you down double digits in every game and come back either. So there's that.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Brunson won the NBA Cup, NBA Cup MVP, Eastern Conference Finals champ, Eastern Conference Finals MVP, finals, is a Larry O'Brien winner with finals MVP.

SPEAKER_00

Make it make sense.

SPEAKER_03

Um, obviously he's still in his prime, but yeah, I agree with you. He's gonna get in. I think this solidified it for him, though. I agree.

SPEAKER_02

Um, LeBron James uh is rumored to potentially be returning to the Lakers. Uh it is looking more and more likely. There is reports though that Luca has come out with his list of what he expects the Lakers for this offseason. One, a star caliber center, which means they are looking at Jalen Duran. I know it's not happening, but it'd be nice to steal him from Detroit. Um he said he does want LeBron back, but we haven't heard that he wants Austin Reeves back, which, in my head, makes sense. You got two of the same player, they can both play offensively out of their mind, but they also can't defend anyone. Reeves can come to Detroit. I don't give a damn. That would be interesting. That would be interesting. This is related to Giannis. The Pistons are looking for a shooter. They said they are looking for either potentially Zach Levine or trading in a three-team trade, potentially, with the Miami Heat and the Bucks sending Tyler Hero to Detroit. I don't know exactly where then I'm assuming Giannis would then go to Miami, and I don't know what the Bucs would then get, other than probably picks and then maybe a few players in between there. So but again, they are still trying to get this trade done before the draft on Tuesday. So we'll see what happens in the next couple days here.

SPEAKER_01

Um we are gonna spice it up and we're gonna transfer over to the FIFA World Cup very quickly.

SPEAKER_02

Uh USA won beautifully, and today Spain showed that why they're the number two ranked team in the world, beautifully 4-0 in with our young star, Lamin Yamal, 18 years old, first World Cup win, actually win and goal, still in high school, taking his exam soon here. What a champ. Even more exciting, USA with this team able to come out with that win against Australia without Polisic. Very impressive. Um, I have a fun story though, uh, with about our star striker, uh Florian Bulagan. I don't know if you guys know the name, but you do now, because he signed with Team USA in 2024 to commit to play with us, which people thought was surprising. They said, How could he do that when his hometown is London and how he's lived in London his whole life? He came up with Man U and an affiliated team. How is this possible? Well, guys, it all started when his parents, both Nigerians, who lived in London at the time, came to visit America. And she was pregnant at the time, uh, very pregnant, about seven months, eight months. And when they were getting back on the plane or trying to to head back home to London, uh, the flight attendant said, No, no, no, no. I'm sorry, you are too pregnant to fly. You must stay here. So, because of that, our man Florian was born in New York and is technically an American-born citizen. So, thank you to his parents. Thank you to that airport worker who said sorry. Because if that wasn't the case, this man wouldn't be on our team right now. Um, please, please watch FIFA. It's been exciting. It's bringing the world together. They're discovering Ranch for the first time. They're discovering Bucky's Waffle House. I'm loving it. I'm loving it all.
