You ever hear a couple say they’re solid and immediately want proof? That’s the whole mood here, because we’re putting our relationship under the microscope with “Exposing Our Partners” and we’re not pulling punches. We start light with weekly life talk, Father’s Day jokes, and our red flags of the week, then we pivot into the stuff that actually causes arguments in real homes: consideration, chores, and who keeps the household running without getting credit.

From there, we go straight into the “exposing” questions: what gives us the ick, what our most toxic traits are, and what we wish the other would stop doing immediately. The funniest moments are also the most relatable relationship advice, especially when we get into money in relationships. One of us pays for comfort and convenience, the other thinks about bills, emergencies, and not living beyond our means. If you’ve ever argued about delivery apps, VIP upgrades, valet, or the energy bill, you’ll feel seen.

We also dig into social media boundaries in a relationship, including blocking during fights, checking location, watching who likes photos, and what “thirst traps” even mean when you’re committed. Our “Flag on the Play” segment turns all of it into red flag vs green flag debate, but the deeper takeaway is trust, respect, and learning how to cool down without creating damage you can’t take back.

Hit play, then subscribe, share this with a friend who loves couple podcasts, and leave a review with the biggest red flag or green flag you heard so we can talk about it next time.

Cold Open And Big Energy

SPEAKER_02

Oh, this is a very fun.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, what thing? Do you wish you could mute about me for 24 hours?

SPEAKER_02

No, you have not mute. No.

Twonn

I will mute the entire you. I would just mute you. I would just mute you.

Whitney

Hey y'all. Welcome back. I'm with.

Twonn

I'm Twan.

Whitney

And this is Clyde Us. Today in episode nine, we're calling Exposing Our Partners. In episode 6, 7, we said that our relationship is solid. Today we're going to find out if that's actually true. So with that being said, hey Tawan.

Twonn

Hi, wait. Exposing your partner. Hold on. Wait, wait. I didn't agree to this.

Whitney

It's not about what you agreed to. You put me in charge. And I'll take your charge.

Twonn

So you just want to shoot this whole part. You just want to start shooting.

Whitney

I mean, you also have the opportunity to shoot back. So I'm just saying.

Twonn

Oh wow. Oh well. So this is the last episode ever, huh? It's gotta be the last episode.

Whitney

We want to test our relationship to see if we out here telling the people the truth. Are we solid or are we not?

Twonn

Why do you want to keep testing out? Why do you want to keep testing the boundaries of our relationship?

Whitney

Because I want to see if you're able to go the extra mile. You know?

Twonn

Red flag. Red flag on the play. Already. Already.

Whitney

But that's why he loves me, because I'm a red flag. If I was a green flag, he would have been sent me back to the streets.

Twonn

That's crazy. You might be accurate

Week Check And Father’s Day Talk

Twonn

with that statement.

Whitney

Alright, so before we get into our episode, um let's just talk about how our week went. How was your week?

Twonn

Um we haven't potted in a little while. We've been a little busy. Um sorry for the delay, guys. We've been a little busy. Um, we do have a life beyond potting and y'all getting into our business. But uh the week was good. Week was good. Um, Father's Day is approaching. It is.

Whitney

Oh, you expecting something?

Twonn

Am I expecting something? I'm expecting the world. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm expecting these kids get it too. Oh wow. He said Father's Day is the least uh least celebrated holiday in the world. So let's see.

Whitney

Because mom's is where it's at. I'm just saying. Okay.

Twonn

Yeah, I mean, I mean, yeah, yeah, everybody has a mom, but everybody also has a dad, but not so many dads step up. But that's uh here no there. But uh, how was your week, Whitney?

Whitney

My week was good. Um, I had a short week, so I'm currently on PTO. Um, so yeah, I've just been just been chilling.

Twonn

Yeah, you look good.

Whitney

Thank you. Hey, you look good too, and you're all black. I see you.

Twonn

Yeah, yeah. Little dark angel. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, shout out to my man Wonder for the uh uh royalty Royal from the Soil. Uh little nice little sponsorship.

Whitney

It's actually a nice shirt.

Twonn

Yeah, yeah, yeah,

Red Flags From Knicks To Fridge

Twonn

yeah. Great quality.

Whitney

Great quality for sure. Um, what about some red flags? You know, we haven't done red flags of the week, so do you have a red flag of the week?

Twonn

Uh I do have a red flag of the week. Oh first of all, let's go, Knicks. Let's go, Knicks. Let's go, Knicks. Let's go, Nick. I think that game that we lost, it was because of Donald Trump. Like, I think Donald Trump is the red flag of the week because there's no way that you showed a president showed up to a live game. And it's like, I think it was like the principal is here. So everybody gotta be on their best behavior. That's what it kind of that's what it felt like. Like they didn't have no watch parties. You got snipers on the roof. Like it was just a lot of for that to be in New York, it was just a lot going on.

Whitney

I mean, New York definitely needs to be on their best behaviors, because I've seen some videos like Yeah, it's a lot of going on.

Twonn

Yo, it's like nah, man. You know what it is? It's not that's not even that's not even those are not Knicks fans. Those are not Knicks fans, those are young, young wild people just in a crowd, and they just want to act crazy for no reason. That's not a Knicks fan. Because a regular Knicks fan would have been like, yo, we won this one, you know, good try. Yeah, okay. But nah, there's there's it's it's like Gotham City out there now. It really looks like Gotham City.

Whitney

I'll be seeing it on my on my feed, on my social medias and stuff, and I'm like, yo, that's crazy.

Twonn

Yeah, because a lot of those, a lot of those fans, they're like in their like they're teenagers, they're in their 20s. You don't know about this. You don't know about this, you don't know about how long it took us to get here. So we are humble, but we also cocky at the same time because it took us 53 years to get here. Not 53 years. 53 years, not facts. It took us 53 years to get here. Okay, 53 fucking years. All right, but um, you uh any flags of the week?

Whitney

Let's see, red flags of the week. I'm gonna have to say red flag that I sing of the week happened in my own household. Oh wow. Yes, my own household. I see it all the time. I see it all the time. Should I even ask this question? Yes, you should, because I need to put this off my chest.

Twonn

So Where's this flag coming from?

Whitney

Here in our home, everybody loves to drink water bottles.

Twonn

Everybody, I mean, water is a natural thing for life, for living. Yeah, yeah.

Whitney

But the process should be if you take a water bottle out, put a water bottle in. Nobody ever wants to fill up the refrigerator with water bottles. So I took it upon myself to do everybody a solid. And I filled up the refrigerator with water bottles, you know? I like my water coat.

Twonn

Uh-huh.

Whitney

So by the time I went in there to go get cold water, guess what? Guess what, Tuan?

Twonn

Well, I bet you there was beer in there.

Whitney

Guess what, Tuan? There wasn't one water bottle in the refrigerator. So I did a solid for everybody, but nobody makes sure that I get a water bottle. I know you're lying. Where you get that water from? What are you talking about? And it looks cold. I can see the sweat coming off the dang water bottle. That's what I'll be talking about. But if I go in there right now, there's not one cold water bottle. But when it's everybody else, everybody else will get a cup of ice and then grab a water bottle from the pantry. But the moment that I put water in the in the refrigerator now, everybody wants water and I don't even have water for myself.

Twonn

That irks the You know what you should do? You should drink more beer. There's beer in there.

Whitney

I don't like beer. I don't even drink.

Twonn

There's beer in there. No, I don't know. I make sure that there's beer in there and it's clean.

Whitney

You know, I'm gonna get a mini refrigerator.

Twonn

Oh, that's selfish.

Whitney

Let's put a lock on it because you What are you talking about? You're not good with refilling stuff either.

Twonn

You're crazy. I refill, I refill just as much as you do.

Whitney

Well, the red flags is in my home. So again, for y'all out there, if your mom fills the refrigerator with water, if you take one, put one in. I'm just saying.

Twonn

All right, all right, all right, all right. So, all right. All right, back to this episode. Um, so back to um

The Ick List Gets Personal

Twonn

are we just shooting?

Whitney

Like see how you just shoot-I mean, if you want to take shots, go ahead and take shots. But you know, I reciprocate energy, so depending on what your your answer is, it might switch my answer up. Oh wow.

Twonn

So we just gonna we just gonna Alright, so let's start shooting.

Whitney

You ready? Yeah, okay. So what's something that I do that gives you the ick?

Twonn

The ick? Hmm. I already know off top. Already know. You you know when when when you eat, you lick every finger. Every and I mean every finger. Oh my god, like who touches anything with like like a pinky? Like you and she keeps going.

Whitney

Oh absolutely not foremost. Yes, I do lick my fingers. I do not lick everyone. I can't tell you I'm my my pinky, come on, my G. So like I'm saying, if I'm eating something and it's bum, I paid for it. Yes, I'll do what I do. Because then sometimes I know when you when you call that out, sometimes I find myself like getting the napkin and like wiping it on there, and I'm just like, yeah, no, I just wasting some sauce. Like, it's a sauce.

Twonn

So you gotta get all the sauce. All the sauce, all the grease. It is what it is. All right, but what's something that gives you the ick about me?

Whitney

Oh my list. Because there's a whole bunch of shots. Now there's a lot start off with one. So what gives me the ick about you is that you when you cut your hair or you trim your beard, you never clean up your hair. Like, I don't understand. In our bathroom, if you just open the cabinet, there's Clorox wipes, there's cleaning solution, there's cleaning supplies, like just clean it up. One day I was in there just washing my hands and I was like resting my arms as I was washing. I'm being lazy washing my hands. When I'm at the camp and I reached out like this, I had all this hair on my arm that I saw in the mirror, and I'm just looking like, why do you just can't? Like, why you just can't clean your hair up? I get it that like our countertops is a marble.

Twonn

Yeah, it's a marble. I cleaned the sink out, but it's the marble top. The marble top kind of throws me off. So the next the next home that we we we purchased, I'm gonna make sure that this like white so I can see it.

Whitney

But that that that's a polka dot and you know that your hair is falling down, why not just bite the area? I don't know, and then it trickles down to the you know, I'm just gonna leave it at that because you're gonna upset me.

Twonn

Okay. Wow.

Whitney

Just thinking about it.

Twonn

I grew uh well, at least I groom myself.

SPEAKER_04

Like okay, I'll give you that.

Twonn

But let's think about the thing. You would hate to see it. You know what you should really see that would probably give you the ick when you take a shower after I take a shower, and I don't fucking manscaped. You should see the bottom of your foot.

Whitney

Ew. You know, I did see a little ball the other day. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just on the water that you can.

Twonn

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I had the manscaped. Yeah, I got a manscaped. Yeah, yeah. You gotta get you gotta get up in the crevices and all that, yeah, yeah.

Whitney

Start checking my feet for your little peanut.

Twonn

Facts, you should, you should.

Whitney

Crazy one.

Twonn

Okay, um next question. Uh what's what's my most toxic treat?

Toxic Traits And Instant Stop Requests

Twonn

What's my most toxic treat?

Whitney

Okay, I don't even go take a shot. That's it. Go ahead and start shooting, ma'am. You gotta you got me on the spot. So you're most high I would say you watch like one YouTube video and you think you are a 35 expert. Every time you watch something on something, whether it's editing a video or it's doing pictures or something like that, like you feel like you're the expert. Can't nobody tell you anything.

Twonn

I'm a master of my universe.

Whitney

You think he thinks he's the expert? And sometimes he actually is really good at some of the stuff. But one toxic trait that you have is like literally you watch one YouTube video, you think that you're the expert. You're you're so fighting and everything that he just watched, like, can't nobody do it better than him. Like, that's just facts. And then you want everybody to follow suit. So everybody else listened to what you say because you just watched one video and now you're the expert.

Twonn

You know what that is? What that's the Capricorn in me.

Whitney

Oh, yeah?

Twonn

That's the Capricorn in me, baby.

Whitney

I would say sometimes it plays in your favor, but not all the time.

Twonn

Maybe not. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes I'm over my head. Sorry, so no, you're not. But nobody will have it, though.

Whitney

Okay, so what's my most toxic trait that I have?

Twonn

Uh, your most toxic trait. Hmm. I think you're just overly emotional and very petty. Overly emotional and very petty.

SPEAKER_07

Okay.

Twonn

Like you say some, you, and then when you're in your petty, you're in your petty phase, you say a lot of hurtful things. Like you don't care. Like, like FTW, you'd be like, I'll be like, uh, like FTW when it when you get to that point. But that's very toxic.

Whitney

I I would have to remain silent on this one because you are absolutely right. I am toxic. But he makes me that way.

Twonn

And the things that he said, I don't do near nut.

Whitney

And he's triggering.

Twonn

So I don't do near nutter. Near nutter.

Whitney

See? I'm not gonna show my true colors on here. I'm just gonna I'm gonna let him have that one. I am very toxic. I am very petty, but that's what you love about me, man.

Twonn

I do, I do. Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes, sometimes I'm working on your replacement, and sometimes I'm not.

Whitney

Okay. So what's something you wish I would stop doing immediately? Like, you just want me to.

Twonn

Oh my, I I wish you would stop counting my funds, and I wish you would just let me live life. Every time we go out, and I have to spend a little, I have to spend money to be comfortable. So let's say we're in a let's say we're in a setting, let's say, and there's VIP. VIP might be $50 extra. I'm going to pay the $50 extra for me to be comfortable. You is like, oh, we are $50. We can use this $50. No. Because we can't. For my comfortability. I use money to be comfortable. You don't like certain things. Like, oh, we could say, like the water. We want to talk about the water. Alkaline water. It's for it tastes better. It tastes better. It's more refreshing.

Whitney

Yeah, but the cases of water and how much water we go through because we drink a lot of water in the house. The bottle's like this big. It's healthy.

Twonn

It's healthy. But even when we go out, even when we go out to the spot, I pay for comfortability.

Whitney

It's because Swan spends excessive money on things we don't necessarily need.

Twonn

We do need this. We do need this to be comfortable. We need this to be comfortable. As a man with a little, a little chicken low, I want to be comfortable. So I will pay the fee. I will pay the the what is that? The valet fee. I don't want to walk down the block. I don't want to walk down the block. I'd rather just pull up, pay this little $25, $30 to walk outside to get into my vehicle, other than having to help you walk down the stairs. Then we got to walk down the block. And then I got to keep you on the inside because I'm a gentleman. So I got to keep her on the inside of the block. And now we got to walk through two, three blocks, go up into the ground. I don't want to do all that.

Whitney

I'm sorry. I'm just, I'm, I'm cheap. I don't like to live beyond my means because I think of like, oh my God, what if something happens? My car break down. I ain't trying to go get a payday loan. I ain't trying to get a loan. I want to make sure that I have funds and I didn't just use them on, you know, my comfort.

Twonn

I get that. I get that.

Whitney

Yeah.

Twonn

I get that. I get that. But it's like when some people, I noticed that when some people, when they uh when they go through stuff like that, they try to cut back. I don't try to cut back. I try to make more. Don't cut back. Never cut back. Make more. Make more.

Whitney

Okay, so ask me the question now. Ask me the question. Because you want to make more. Come on, ask me the question now. Ask me the question that come on.

Twonn

All right, what's something you wish I stopped doing immediately?

Whitney

I wish you would stop turning on every light in the house and not turn it off when you leave. Like, literally, you leave.

Twonn

Who who helps with these bills?

Whitney

You definitely help with the bills, but we didn't produce AC. So why every time when we run an AC, you come home and you was like, why is this AC? Yo, now you want to touch it. And then we get the energy bill. Now he got an issue. Now I'll be like, okay. Everything gets turned up. And when I tell him the energy bill, you try energy bill is like $100, maybe $95 to $100. When that thing gets up to like $2,250, now this man talking about, oh yeah, no, we want uh now he wanna start turning off the AC, but won't turn off a light, but you want to cut off the AC and everything else. So but you got money though, right? For comfort. Yeah. So then I should be able to turn the AC on all day and we pay our three, four hundred dollars.

Twonn

Yeah, it gets it gets, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't, I don't, yeah, yeah. I still know I'm still gonna talk about shit. I'm still gonna talk about shit.

Whitney

Why I can't talk my shit about it.

Twonn

I'm still gonna talk about shit. I'm still gonna talk about shit.

Whitney

It'd be like that. Yeah, I just want to know. But you know, hey, I guess you pick and choose when you pick and choose.

Twonn

That part I pick and choose.

SPEAKER_04

When he wants to spend it, that part that part I pick and choose. But VIP.

Twonn

That part I pick and choose. All right, you gotta be got me. Alright, cool. I wish some of these bills go on discount, man. Man, whatever the like Black Friday, yo, 25% off the light bill. Like, come on, yo. Like, this is like basic necessity stuff. You go to Africa, most of this stuff is free.

Whitney

And now it is getting hot. Like, it's really so crazy. The kids are finna be home all day, every day. Yeah, I can't. Country's finna go up.

Twonn

Not prepare for summertime. Summertime as a parent. I think you always try to prepare for what's about to go down. Try to get these kids out of the house and whatnot.

What We Pretend To Like

Whitney

Okay. I want to ask this next question.

Twonn

Start firing. Stay low. Stay low. Keep firing.

Whitney

You pretend you like because of me. Yeah, I need you to answer this one first because this is gonna tell me how yeah. Um so what's something you like that you pretend to like because of me?

Twonn

I think you're gonna start shooting after this one. But um, I was never into women with um with locks. I was never into women with locks. But your locks are so beautiful and they're so long. I was with you see how long Whitney's locks are, they're beautiful. I was with her when they were like this. First and for us, you know, you not when they were like this, I was with her. But this part, this part of the locks I can deal with. Like I love the long, like look how long and healthy your locks are. But when you had the little chicken fried, the little, you know, the little the little things that just stick out your head. I was just like, oh, man.

Whitney

I didn't see a bald man in my future either. Oh, you didn't?

Twonn

Oh, oh usually stress, baby. Stress. Usually big beard, bald head. I guess so. Okay.

unknown

Okay.

Twonn

So that was you shooting?

Whitney

No.

Twonn

Oh, okay. Like I said, you didn't see bald head man? Oh shit.

Whitney

But something that I pretend to like because of you? I would say that one's gonna start it right with the family for sure.

SPEAKER_04

Oh cooking. I would like to say cook it.

Whitney

I I don't like to cook for you. Like why you don't like to cook for you? I don't because I don't like to cook. It's very time consuming. And what sucks is that y'all always want me to cook, but y'all never want to take anything out. So I always have to make a trip to the store to be able to purchase something so I can cook for you. But you know, I cook for you because if I don't cook, you don't eat. But when I go in and I pretend like I really like to cook and I like to make all these different dishes. No. That's not no. No. But you be so you sell it so well. I do, but no, I don't. I don't want to cook for y'all. I don't. You sell it so well. I don't want to cook for y'all at all. I just want y'all to think for yourselves.

Twonn

And yeah, I you sell it so well though.

Whitney

Yeah, I pretend like I like cooking and baking. You know when I make your little bake good, so I make sure you have like your dinner and a little dessert. I don't like it. I'm a ball. I don't like it. I'm a ball. That's why I started buying those pre-made cookies. So I just throw them in the oven and then you have a little cookie. But you know, I used to bake for you. I used to bake a cake and you do all those little cute stuff. I don't like it.

Twonn

That's crazy.

Whitney

I don't.

Twonn

You're exposing. I don't like this no more. I don't like it. I don't like this no more. I don't like this. I don't like it. Uh uh.

Whitney

If I could just feed you chicken all day, then I'll just give you chicken all day. Like I wouldn't even care to put any thought into your dinner.

Twonn

This is the reason why I don't eat rice. I don't eat rice.

SPEAKER_04

I'm gonna start making.

Twonn

I don't eat rice anymore.

SPEAKER_04

Is that a past?

Twonn

It's a past trauma. Rice. I don't eat rice anymore.

SPEAKER_04

Rice, dirty rice, vegetables. I don't eat rice.

Twonn

I don't eat rice anymore. I don't eat rice anymore.

SPEAKER_07

Okay.

Twonn

Alright. Um, one more question, then we get into flag in the play. All right. Uh I think this one was what something I do when I'm mad that's childish.

Childish When Mad And Blocking

Whitney

Y'all, this man. Something that you do. You you block me.

Twonn

Oh, I know you're not about to bring this up.

Whitney

This man. Okay, so we have social media for flag us. And then we also have like our personal, you know, social media. Sometimes I forget to switch over to, you know, our pod Instagram or whatever it is. I don't switch over. And one time I comment on, it could have been a guy. Comment on a guy's post on our flag us podcast. Do you know this man blocked my personal account from all our social media accounts from our flag us podcast? Like I can't go in there and unblock myself back. Why did you feel the need to block my personal account from our account that we share?

Twonn

I told you how Instagram works. And then your profile is private. So that's what you block me in. So because it's like, all right, you comment and then it's like, oh, this person likes my what you go? Oh, let me go send them referring requests. Oh, let me be in the business. And I was like, uh, I was being on my my my territorial territorial shit.

Whitney

I don't, I don't just meet friendless. I don't mean everybody.

Twonn

I know, but it was uh a territorial thing. Like, nah, we're not doing that. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. And I had to teach you a lesson also, like, stop commenting from your personal page.

Whitney

I can't pick like back and forth, back and forth. Like, I also have a page and I don't look at the little picture to see what what like what page I'm on.

Twonn

Because again, since I'm a friend of ours, you need to, you need to, you are in charge of social. So you need to dedicate an hour, hour and a half, just on this one page. You don't have to keep switching. You don't have to keep switching. I keep telling you that.

Whitney

It was on my feed. So I was going on my personal account and I was just looking and I saw our thing up and I saw somebody come and I just clicked on it.

Twonn

Nah, nah, nah. We we fellas, nah, we get territorial about stuff like that. Uh-uh, uh-uh, player. Even if you block me anyway. Um player, not over here, player.

Whitney

Okay.

Twonn

Player.

Whitney

So what's something that I do when I'm mad that it's childish?

Twonn

Um, you say very hurtful things. Like, you say very hurtful things.

Whitney

Sometimes they need to be said.

Twonn

They do not never need to be said. You never said anything that you can't come back from, but you've said a lot of hurtful sh hurtful things. And if I wasn't, if I if I didn't have like skin of like like, then I would be hurt. That's the hardest metal in Wakanda. Yeah. This is this is Wakanda. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If I didn't have skin on my brain, you would hurt, you would hurt me. Like you would hurt me. Like I see why you I see why you you um trend lightly. Yeah, okay. Anyway, let's get back. Let's get to the flag on the play.

Whitney

Yeah, trend lightly. Let's get flag on the play. I'm known for saying

Flag On The Play Begins

Whitney

hurtful things.

Twonn

Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right.

Whitney

Flag on the play.

Twonn

Let's go. We shoot in?

Whitney

No, it's kind of like a so we probably might need our flag. It's probably like a red flag, green flag type thing, and then we can kind of um, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

Whitney

Um, I'll ask two questions, you ask two questions, and we'll go from there. Sounds good. All right, so for flag on the play. The first question I have is leaving the house angry without saying goodbye.

SPEAKER_05

Uh I'm kind of like cut in between.

Whitney

I'm like hi. I'm in between because I say it's a green flag because I don't want to continue to, you know, to argue.

Twonn

That's why I have a green flag.

Whitney

Yeah, but if you don't tell me goodbye, you're getting a call or a text the moment that you dip up out of here. Oh, so we just gonna leave and I say goodbye. So, yeah, I'm kinda like I'm on a green side.

Twonn

I just saved myself 25 minutes of arguing. Because then it's like, all right.

Whitney

You know I'm gonna call you, but then that's where your toxic triangle and you just don't answer. Yeah. You're gonna block me. No, I'm not gonna block you.

SPEAKER_00

Nah, I wouldn't block you.

Whitney

Block me, unblock me.

SPEAKER_00

Block you, yeah, yeah. Block you, unblock you, block you. I love that. Yeah.

Whitney

Okay, so I'm I'm mutual. I'm I feel like it's it just depends on who's doing it, I guess. If you're doing it, it's a red flag.

Twonn

Oh wow, okay.

Whitney

I'm doing a green flag.

Twonn

Purdue.

Whitney

Is that how that works?

Twonn

Yeah, that's how it works. That's how it works. Double standard. I mean, well, not even a double standard.

Whitney

All right, uh, the next question I have. Falling asleep without texting back.

Twonn

Um I'm I'm really undecided about that. Like, I'm a I'm a grown-ass man. Like, if I'm going to sleep, I'll text you when I get up. So I'm red, green, kind of white. I'm a white flag on that one. Yeah, I'll wave my white flag.

Whitney

I feel like for some people it could be a red flag because it's kind of like. So Lord, you can just shoot me like a text to say goodnight. Like, what are you doing? It depends on where people's heads are. But green flag, I would do green flag because my intention was to say goodnight, but hey, I just fell asleep.

Twonn

Just fell asleep. Yeah, just fall asleep. I think. Whatever that happens. I think, yeah, I think there's the A's where it just happens. It ain't true.

Whitney

But you have some people who think it's a red flag because they're like, dang, like you couldn't even, like, we were just texting. I guess it just depends on the situation. Like we were just texting and all of a sudden you just fall or fall asleep. And I don't get nothing. I'm just like, okay, like that happened too.

Twonn

Sandman just smack you out.

Whitney

I guess that could be like in the beginning of a relationship. Now I don't care whether you say goodnight or don't say goodnight. Like, hey. Good night.

Twonn

I see you when I get see you when I see you.

unknown

Yeah.

Location Checks And The 3AM Prank

Twonn

Okay. I got the next couple. Um, checking your partner's location often.

SPEAKER_04

That's a very flag. What you really do?

Whitney

Oh, I was gonna say, I feel like it's okay to check it, like, you know, not again, but not often.

SPEAKER_00

Often is crazy. Not often.

Whitney

I might should check your location when you work, but that was because I needed to know if you were already, you know, in the yo, it was one time I thought you had my location, right?

Twonn

And I came home, and I guess you must have just seen me in the cameras. And then you try to sneak past, like you saw me through the door, right?

Whitney

That's what I'm talking about. All we live in this neighborhood, and it got our whole doors, glass. You could see right through our home. Like, this is crazy.

Twonn

You don't need to put the uh nah, but that's the reason I'm like, nah, I wouldn't what you call because what if I what if I thought you were a burglar? I could have capped your I could have capped your ass.

SPEAKER_03

Remember, you remember the one time where I saw you on the camera and I fixed the bed? I fixed the bed up and I Yeah. When I tell you, I was up late. I don't know what I was doing, but I heard the cameras come off. And Tuan was parking in the driveway, and I jumped out of bed so quick, and I made the bed up.

Whitney

I put the pills and stuff up there, and I turned my phone on silent, and I just laid on the side of the bed because our bed is pretty high, so he definitely couldn't see on the side.

SPEAKER_03

And I remember Tuan walked in that room and he was like, I didn't I didn't see you.

Twonn

What time was it? It was like three o'clock in the morning, and the bed was made, and she wasn't in it. And I looked, I walked in that room. I said, What the fuck? Like, I know this girl ain't spending night outside. Oh man, you was about to catch hell. You was definitely about to catch hell.

SPEAKER_04

What the fuck? And I couldn't hold it in, and I just started laughing. Oh my god.

Twonn

It was I would have hunt your ass down. I'd have put on my hunting gear and I'd have hunt your ass the fuck down. Three o'clock in the morning, girl. What up?

Whitney

That's when we should have had like cameras set up. We didn't have no cameras like set up in our room, just like on the exterior and the certain parts of the world.

Twonn

Yeah, I was definitely hunting for rabbits that night because ain't no way, boy.

SPEAKER_03

Yari actually, because it was like silent for a little bit and you cut the light off. And I was like, Oh, I hope you don't see like my shadow or anything, but you did not see me. But that was a bit. I actually got him pretty good.

Twonn

That was a good one. That was a good one. That was a good one.

SPEAKER_03

Alright, what's your next question?

Twonn

Alright, uh, keeping backup options just in case.

Backup Options And Power Moves

Twonn

Like a little like a little shindig.

SPEAKER_02

I know you lying. Why would you pick a green flag? You are green flags. Oh, oh, this is a green flag. Oh, damn. No, no. I know you lie. No, I didn't. So you got you got a backup?

Twonn

No, I don't have backups. I don't have backups. I'm just I'm partying. I'm partying. I don't have backups.

unknown

Okay.

Twonn

But I used to think, I used to think I used to think like that, cuz. Dang old, man. I used to think like that, cuz this might, this well, like you said before, this one might be defected. This one might be defected.

Whitney

You know, I'm not even gonna sit there and fault you for that because yeah, like when you firstly start dating some bob, you got one in the chamber for sure.

Twonn

Yeah, you have to, because you like, ah, this one might be a weirdo. Like, I gotta, I gotta, I got a uh uh a run of weirdos, or it's just people who every time you start dating them, they just happen to be going through something. And you be like, oh, or not healed, or past trauma, or whatever. I'm like, I'm too old to be dealing with this dating pool had pool, shit, throw up, piss. Yeah, that's a lot in it.

Whitney

Yeah, I get you. Now, now at my age and where we are, I don't have a backup, baby. It's just you. And I'm sure I could split a block on it, you know, for you. I just can't say just potting, that's what we say. We're potting.

SPEAKER_00

All right, all right, yeah.

Whitney

Next to all right, um, ignoring text to teach a lesson. Yeah. I'm gonna go red flag. Why so you're gonna ignore text? What lesson are you teaching?

Twonn

Um it is the lesson of you ever read no, you've probably never read this book. It's called the 48 Laws of Power, right? The accessibility to me is now limited. So now you're like, oh, this nigga can't res Now I got you hyped up. Now your blood is boiling, right? Yeah, yeah, now your blood is boiling, right? And then I hit you with that, maybe like a day later. Oh hey. Oh now you oh hey, oh, oh, now you ready to go, right? That is a get back.

Whitney

I'm gonna reciprocate energy. So we both out here teaching lessons because don't text me back. Cool, I ain't gonna text you back either.

Twonn

So I guess I can text you back first when I'm when I'm when I'm healed.

Whitney

Yeah, when I'm when I'm healed, I can text you, and I guess we'll see if you respond. If you don't respond, I guess it's just uh That's cool. I'm gonna assume you ghosted me and I'm just gonna go on about my day.

Twonn

Oh, that's when I back up?

Whitney

Depend on, because now, like if you were to do that to me now, like You wouldn't care. No, what's he get home? Like, I definitely I I'll do the same. So you you text me, like, oh baby, I'm on my way home. I'm not texting back, so I ain't saying nothing, but when you get home, I'm starting some shit. When you when you get out comfortable, you gotta take the clothes off, you're ready to get in the bed. Oh yeah, I want I want to talk now.

Twonn

Yeah, you want to talk.

Whitney

When you want to lay down on her to talk, like you done had your little drinks, you had fun at your at your brother's house. Now I'm already talking.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, okay.

Whitney

Yeah. So you ain't teaching no lesson. Only the lesson you're teaching is you do that again, you're gonna get the same reaction. Yeah? Yeah, okay. Yeah. Yeah, let's go. Next.

Free Drinks, Thirst Traps, And Attention

Whitney

Uh, ooh, uh, flirting for free food or drinks. So that's a green flag.

Twonn

I'm gonna say that's a green flag too. Shit. Go get me a drink, baby. When we at the bar, we're in sharing. I'm okay. I'm okay. You buy if you find my woman attractive, buy her a fucking drink. Buy her a fucking drink. Shit. Buy me one too, shit.

Whitney

Go share it with him.

Twonn

Yeah.

Whitney

Can't nobody fault us for that. Because even when I was young and I was going to the club and I was single and stuff, yeah, we was out here flirting with boys because you knew he was gonna buy us a drink. Now, if he tried to, you know, protect his investment, that's what it became a problem, get a drink back. But yes, I don't see an issue with that. I'm always gonna come share with you for sure.

Twonn

But what about food? Food is a different thing. Food? So what if big girl gotta eat? Big big girl gotta eat.

Whitney

Even if it's a discount on the food.

Twonn

I'm so so the drop so the drop. So you wouldn't mind if I'm bat in my eyes and as long as you share your sharing my mealings and your winnings.

Whitney

Oh, yeah.

Twonn

All right, that's peace.

Whitney

And it depends on how far you go.

Twonn

That's peace. That's peace. Because you be trying to laugh. What you mean? Nah, nah, never, never.

Whitney

Yeah, I feel like it's a green flag as long as you're sharing with your partner and you're not getting free food and looking at them like, oh, you you got yours?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay. That's peace.

Whitney

Don't do that. Because that's when it becomes a red flag to me. Alright.

Twonn

Alright. Uh next one. Posting thirst traps while in a relationship. What's the definition of a what's the definition of a thirst trap?

Whitney

I mean, I wouldn't I so I say a green flag. I wouldn't call it a red flag. A third trap, you know, somebody, you know, getting all that up for the likes and stuff, you know? Getting people to like, you know.

Twonn

Yeah, but that also that also, you know, comes with I like, oh snap, Shorty looking good. Let me slide up in her DM. Let me.

Whitney

Yeah, but it's how your partner kind of like.

Twonn

I mean, I don't I don't be shirt out, you know, chest out and all that stuff, but I might do something at work, a hardworking. And you know what I noticed? A thirst trap for a guy is him posting himself at work.

Whitney

You have a few thirst traps when you put the damn glasses that you swear I broke or lost or threw.

Twonn

You do, you do. Every time I put these Malcolm X glasses on.

Whitney

That is a thirst trap. You know you look good. You put those glasses on, and then all of a sudden a picture of your story pops up. You send it out thirst trapped. For sure. It's definitely a thirst trap. But if somebody's trying to like, like you said, I need to get my, what'd you say? I need to get up.

SPEAKER_00

My well your social, your social, your social media presence, your digital print.

Whitney

But my digital print. Again, with that, in order for me to get that up, I have to, you know, show a little skin. I gotta put on something tight, you know, show my figure for people to actually, you know, come and pay attention and you know.

Twonn

Oh, stand up.

Whitney

Stand up. This is not a pod for the stand-up. Stand up. This is not a pod.

Twonn

Okay. I think you wanted to do. Oh, okay. So she wanna, yeah, you since you want to do your digital impress, stand up now.

Whitney

Yeah, but I haven't started it yet. So when I get it, you know, it won't stand up for the people until I'm gonna move it back here, you know.

Twonn

Okay. Next one.

Blocking During Fights And Deep Dives

Twonn

Yeah. Blocking your partner during fights.

SPEAKER_02

Sometimes it gotta happen. What this happens? What happens is a red flag.

Twonn

Block me, son. So oh oh. I'm pretty sure there's a time where I blocked you and you blocked me. I'm pretty sure there's a time like that. I'm pretty sure there's a time. I'm pretty sure there was a time that I blocked you and you blocked me.

Whitney

I think when I saw you, too, I was like, did you block me? You was like, no, I didn't block you. See, I didn't block you. You told me that you didn't block me, but I was like, no, you definitely blocked me. I probably did. Block me, not block me, block me, not block me. Yeah, sometimes sometimes it has to be done.

Twonn

Yeah, it has to be done. I might not want to say something to you at that time and it kind of, I might block and even delete your number.

SPEAKER_00

You can't do that because you don't know my number. Yeah, and that's the problem.

Twonn

So I gotta go back and like past history. You gotta wait, you gotta unblock me and wait for me to text you. Because I might want to, I might want to say something. I'll be like, nah, let me let me chill.

Whitney

I've done that before. I done blocked somebody and then deleted the number and then deleted all the text messages and all the calls so that I wouldn't. But that was like somebody I didn't want to like really. I didn't want to go back talking to that person. I was like, oh, I'll always go back. But yeah, I deleted it from the call threads, the text messages.

Twonn

Sometimes you gotta get that one on. Cause I'm like, nah, I don't wanna I don't wanna violate. Because I'll violate. Like I'm I'll show out.

SPEAKER_07

Show up.

Twonn

I'll show out. I'll show out.

Whitney

All right, okay. Last question of Flag Us. Uh watching who likes your partner's pictures. Or checking. Checking who likes your partner's pictures. You do that, don't you?

Twonn

I do do that. I do too. I do do that.

Whitney

I do too, because sometimes I want to see if oh work going and clicking on some stuff.

Twonn

I do, I do that, and I go, I do, I do like a deep dive. Like I do a social media deep dive. I'll who this now. Especially. Oh, who he knows your friends.

Whitney

Like what they come.

Twonn

Yeah, yeah. Who who's this?

Whitney

She feels a need to say that.

Twonn

Yeah.

Whitney

Okay, so green flag. Green flag for you too.

Twonn

Green flag for me.

Whitney

Okay, yes. I mean, I think we all do.

Twonn

We gotta do it.

Whitney

I think it's healthy. I think it's a social media blitz.

Twonn

You gotta do your social media blitz.

Whitney

All right, all right.

Twonn

Who this? You gotta do your homework on people. That's it with that.

Whitney

That's it with that. Okay, okay, okay.

Mute Button Wishes And Shoe Addiction

Whitney

Alright, so I think we have about what, like three more questions left.

Twonn

Yes, yes, of the toxic pod of the red flag to my left. The major red flag to my left.

SPEAKER_05

I am who I am. Okay, so next question. Uh what's one thing you wish you could?

Twonn

Finish. Please do finish. This is a really good, really good question. Please do finish.

SPEAKER_04

Oh goodness, I just got tears in my eyes on this pod. Uh what's one thing you wish you could mute about me for 24 hours?

Twonn

You better not mute the whole I would mute the entire you. I would just mute you. I would just mute you. I would mute you. Your only words would be yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, what?

Twonn

Yes, daddy. That's all I want to hear. That's all I want to hear. That's all I want to hear. All day. I don't care. I don't care what it is.

SPEAKER_03

I just just I would never give you the satisfaction.

Whitney

I'm just saying all day.

Twonn

Like, oh my god, all day. Yo, that would be a holiday. What they said, what Ice Cube said, today was a good day.

Whitney

Oh my goodness.

Twonn

Alright, what's something you wish you could mute about me?

Whitney

Um for you, uh, there's not really anything that you like that stands out. But what I will Oh my god, what I would mute about you is Y'all ain't got no heat in your store. Oh my god. Or I would mute him from being able to log on to the Nike app.

SPEAKER_00

Oh Lord.

Whitney

All we do is This man, we got so many shoes.

Twonn

Yeah, we do have a lot of shoes.

Whitney

And this man stays on the Nike app looking for shoes. We do have to work. And he's like, man, y'all ain't got no heat. Like he he tries to make me a personal shopper while I'm at work. Like, sir.

Twonn

That's what you signed up for. No, I didn't sign up. You're a secretary? You're a personal shopper. No. You're a cookie. You're a therapist. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We all of all of all of the above. Yeah, this is what you signed up for.

SPEAKER_04

You ain't got no heat in there. You ain't got nothing.

Twonn

Alright. What's something that I overreact to every time?

SPEAKER_03

Every time?

Convenience Spending Versus Store Runs

Whitney

Yeah. Swan overreacts every time I ask him to go to the store for me. Every time I ask Swan, I'm like, hey babe, can you go to the store for me? I need some butter. Do you know this man will whoop out his phone? And start doing like a freaking Amazon Fresh or Uber Eats or something of that nature. This man does not like to go to the store. It's all you always it irks me.

Twonn

Like I literally goes back to being convenient. I have I have money. Why am I going to the store? I could just have somebody, I could pay somebody ten dollars. Yo, go to the store. What you say you need? Yo, it'd be in 20 minutes.

Whitney

20 minutes. This man, literally, HEV is two minutes from our house. This man could literally take a two-minute drive, grab me some butter, pay for the butter, bring it back. I could already have it. I gotta wait for somebody to leave the comfort of their home to go to HEV to get my butter, to pay for my butter, to bring my butter to me. When this man could literally just went up the street, like literally two.

Twonn

I paid for convenience. Conveniency. To grab me some butter. I don't go to I haven't yo. See what I mean? I don't I haven't been to the store in like a few like I haven't been to an ATM in probably like 10 years.

SPEAKER_02

I haven't been to an ATM. I haven't been into ATM in 10 years.

Twonn

To a grocery store, I'm trying to keep it in the same like you go, men go to the grocery store to bag women. I'm not, I'm good. I'm good.

Whitney

I'll order some food. I have to stop cooking to get in my car. That's fire for two minutes up the street to get some butter because this man wants to overeat some or some Amazon. And Amazon Fresh ain't even fresh, okay?

Twonn

Yes, it is. It's fresh enough. You don't order fruit, you gotta know what to order from there. I wouldn't order.

Whitney

Uh cuties. And them cuties was on fresh, dead.

Twonn

Alright.

Whitney

Okay. So what's something I overreact to every single time?

Twonn

Hmm. Something you come on. Something you overreact to.

SPEAKER_05

Nothing.

Twonn

I think it goes back to just just the spending. You overreact to certain what you go? Like, why just can't why you why just can't be great. Alright, anyway.

Whitney

I overreact. You think I'm overreacting because I feel like we shouldn't have spent unnecessary money? Yes. In case it's like a rainy day.

Twonn

Yes. I think that's a different time for a different pod. I think it should be relationships. Relationships and money. Relationship and money. That should be at the next pod, relationship and money.

Whitney

I thought we had something similar, though.

Twonn

Um we should have something because it's really important. Like a whole thing dedicated to like financial responsibilities and the red flags.

Whitney

No, I think we had a one similar to like that, like a 50-50, and who's this and who's that. I'm not,

The Stuff That Seems Mentally Wild

Whitney

yeah, we're not trying to go down that rabbit hole. Oh, why?

SPEAKER_00

It's for me. Oh, hmm. Interesting.

Whitney

I'm gonna leave you alone about your money.

SPEAKER_00

No, you're not. I'm gonna let you already know.

Whitney

That's cute.

SPEAKER_00

It's cute.

Whitney

Yeah. That's cute. Now while we're together, you ain't gonna be accepted and then you gotta be messed up. No, absolutely not. Okay. What's one thing I do that makes you question me mentally?

SPEAKER_07

Hmm. Question you mentally.

SPEAKER_02

Oh. I'm not the cuckoo bird. I promise you. You are.

Twonn

I'm not. Alright, you know what Whitney does? That just make me question your sanity. You uh randomly just shout out like random things. Like we could be sitting here in silence. Any of you, Bow Chick-a-Wow!

SPEAKER_02

What's that?

Whitney

I don't know where I get that from. When I go to work at five o'clock in the morning and I'm like receiving the truck, like I do that.

SPEAKER_04

I'm like, Bow Chick-a Wow Wow. Like, are you what is wrong with you?

SPEAKER_02

He was like, stop saying that. I feel like you want to get ready to do something.

Twonn

Yeah. Sounds like a mating call. Definitely sounds like you're ready to mate. She just out of nowhere, bow shake a wow wow.

SPEAKER_04

Like I don't know where I got that from. I do. I do. I actually do that a lot.

Twonn

I don't understand it. That's why I be thinking, yo, yo, there's something. There's something wrong with you.

SPEAKER_02

I definitely have to say.

Twonn

And it's always the same tempo.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

Twonn

All right. Back to you. What do you what do I do? That's I think I'm a mental patient.

Whitney

Um, I'm gonna say I'm mental patient, but you wear sunglasses inside and at night. But there's no sun in the house. There's no sun outside. This man will have sunglasses on and it's dark outside. Like, why do you have sunglasses on? But when you come into my job too, sometimes, and everybody's looking, I'm like, uh, and everybody knows he's my man. He's coming there with his sunglasses on and stuff, and they get dark, it's super dark, super dark, and then it's like one time we were getting ready to go somewhere. I think it was getting ready to look on date night at night. Okay, at night. This man is in the house with his sunglasses on. He don't take them off when we go outside in the dark outside. Like, why I can see.

Twonn

I'm sure you can't. I'm like, dang, you remember Batman? Like, I was I would I grew up in the dark, like I can see.

Whitney

I can see yeah, I can see. Why are you talking like that? Why do you have your sunglasses on? He's just looking at me like like something incorrect. Like business, like that's my aura, that's my aura.

Twonn

I live in an I live that it makes me comfortable. It's a com it might be a comfortability thing. Yeah, it just might be a comfortability thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what life is about. Like, I'm comfortable, like I'm super comfortable. Oh my shit.

Whitney

At night. Thanks. And how's that look? Because the tint on your car is really, really dark. Like, if I'm using your car at night, I can roll the windows down just to be able to see. And if you have on sunglasses and your dark tent in your car, how do you think that?

Twonn

I haven't yo, I haven't crashed into anything. I haven't crashed into anything. Yeah, I mean now you got me thinking, like, yo, that is crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Like if I look at you and I think that you're crazy. How many other people want to see you with your sunglasses on that night? Like, this man is he bomb?

Twonn

Like, yeah, yeah. I should start doing that little.

Whitney

They probably I mean, all of them might just think you have sensitivity to light or something, but he don't.

Twonn

Oh wow, that's crazy. He don't.

Whitney

He really don't, but now that you're thinking about it, huh?

Twonn

Yeah, yeah, that's crazy. That's fire.

Whitney

Is it fire?

Twonn

That must have looked back. You're weird.

Whitney

Okay, I mean, that's the end of our podcast. Well, was it in

Final Laughs And Listener Requests

Whitney

episode nine?

Twonn

Episode nine.

Whitney

Episode nine.

Twonn

Great, great. Thanks guys for the support.

Whitney

Whitney

Not expose Whitney.

Twonn

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Whitney

Or if you don't want me to expose Swan, because he definitely do for I'm all the way exposed. Are you?

Twonn

Yeah.

Whitney

I don't think so.

Twonn

You want to see? All right. Anyway, guys, uh, this was Flaggus. I'm Swan.

SPEAKER_02

I'm with We Out.

unknown

We out.
