What's up everybody and welcome back once again to the color. I'm sorry, the freak eponymous podcast. Different podcasts. Anyway, welcome back to the Freak Eponymus Podcast. How's everybody doing today on this fabulous Friday? Hope everybody had a good week. Ready to jump into some funk and get into some Jesse Johnson. Got a special treat for you today. Got a couple of guests. Originally I thought I was going to have Alfonso Starr on, but Alfonso Starr talked to him last night. He's not going to be able to make it tonight. He's doing an incredible thing. He's DJ DJing for some elementary school kids today at one of their dances on the West Coast. So hats off to him doing his thing. But I do have, I do have Tanya G. Harris. And I do have Richard Cole returning to the show today. And we're going to talk about some Jesse Johnson. We're going to talk about and have some commentary on the recent Yoshi's performances that Jesse did out in Oakland. So before we do that, I just want to go over some news. I just want to talk about um I want to give credit to the videos that I'm going to show tonight. The videos were created by Mike C over on YouTube and also a guy named Dwayne Prince DMSR. Provided the video footage from those nights in uh Oakland. As you know, the estate released the magnificent single by Prince, the virtual B side. Over on the Prince YouTube channel. Make sure you check that out. About three weeks ago they released United States of Division. Yeah, I gotta tell you. It's funky. Funky funky. Um, let's see, let's talk about this.
unknownShh.
SPEAKER_06Where is it? There we go. Let's talk about that. It's an event coming up. Uh Taca Nelson and Friends presents a night of purple music. Talk about that for a second. I think that's gonna be sorry folks. That's gonna be happening at the Dakota Lounge, as a matter of fact. I can't see. I'm putting my old man's bags on real quick. Oh yeah, let's see. Talk about it a bit, sorry. So yeah, Tycho Nelson and Friends presents a night of purple music June 7th, 7 p.m. A lot of you guys are going up to the celebration in Minneapolis this June. Make sure you check out this event. Uh it's a very special performance of the music of Prince performed by those who were closest to him in his final years. Artists include Donna Granis, Marvin King, Shelby J. Adrian Crutchville, B.K. Jackson, and special farewell performance by Tiger Nelson, Prince's sister, St. Paul Peterson and the Minneapolis Funk All-Stars. So make sure you check that out if you get a chance, and you're up in Minneapolis in June for celebration. Uh let's see. That's that. So without further ado, I'm gonna bring in my special guest for tonight. So, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Miss Tanya D. Harris. Hey Tanya, how are you today?
SPEAKER_03I am doing good. I love that intro.
SPEAKER_06Thank you so much. You're welcome. Thanks so much for joining. And let me yes, absolutely. And let's where did Richard go? Is Richard still with us?
SPEAKER_03Richard.
SPEAKER_06Where is he? Nope, that's not Richard. Remember that. Richard dropped out. Maybe he'll join back in.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_06He was with us just a few seconds ago.
SPEAKER_03I know.
SPEAKER_06So yeah, as we wait for Richard to rejoin, we'll just talk about um let's talk a little bit about the Jesse Johnson show out at Yoshi's in Oakland. How was it?
SPEAKER_03Oh my goodness. It was fantastic. It was so awesome. I went to both shows, but I got to start from the beginning because it was so awesome. So uh I'll start from the very, very beginning because um I met my girl Olga at the airport, and we set it up where we would meet each other at the airport and just start doing videos, and we start doing videos, and we were like, we're gonna we're gonna make a shout out to Jesse. We're gonna say, Jesse, we're coming to your show and we coming in hot. You know, we of course we tag them and then um he put us on his story. So we're like, oh my gosh, Jesse put us on the story. So we go to the uh, you know, the night of the event, we start off with the QA, which is like the VIP, and it's the QA. And Alfonso was like the DJ or the MC for the night. And he was just kind of working a room, going around the room, asking people if they had any questions for Jesse and stuff like that. Jesse comes out and he kind of when he comes out, he's a little like shy, a little introvert. I was like, oh, okay. But then it's like, you know, when the first question happens, he's like, he just talks, talk, talks. I was like, yeah, okay. So um there was a guy from his childhood that he grew up with that was in the audience for the VIP, and him and Jesse kind of talked a lot. And then Jesse said he was gonna bring him up on the stage later for the show to perform. So they kind of talked about old times and um, you know, growing up in I think Illinois. And then there was another guy from New York that had some questions, and then they talked. And in that QA, I learned that Jesse wrote for Vanity, because I love Vanity. And he said that he wrote um Undress Me for Vanity for the movie Action Jackson. And I was like, what? So he talked about that, and then um, you know, just people asking questions and him just answering them and being really funny. Uh, you know, he's got a little potty mouth, but he was being really cute and funny. And then um, I was trying to get Alfonso's attention because I at first I was like, is it just a QA? Because you know, I wanted to get a picture with him. So I was like, is it just a QA? Are we gonna be able to, you know, take pictures with Jesse? Or is he gonna be able to sign out like uh albums and everything? So um Alfonso never got to me because it was like so many people wanted to uh ask questions. But um pretty much after the QA, then was the time when we would uh take pictures with Jesse and get autographs and stuff like that. So so when he finishes doing the QA, Jesse kind of like looks at me, right? And I'm like, is is he looking at me or is there somebody behind me that he knows? Because he's kind of like like this, and I'm like, Me. So I realize it's me he's talking to. So I'm like, okay, let me go closer to the stage. And he's like, You like come. And I was like, okay, he is talking to me. So I go closer to the stage, and it's kind of like you know, the stage has the stairs, and you kind of go up, so I kind of go up a couple of stairs, and then he comes to me, he bends down and he's like, Yeah, so your videos, you're funny. Um, you said you're coming in hot. I was like, Oh my gosh. So we kind of just talked a little bit. He's like, Where's your other friend? Where's Olga? And uh, well, he didn't he didn't know Ogre's number, but he's like, Where's your other friend? And I was like, Oh, Olga. And I said, She's around here somewhere, and I'm trying to find Olga because he's like he remembers us from you know Instagram story. So um he just was really friendly and everything like that. And then he gave me a hug, and then no, no, oh, I forgot this. Um, I went to shake his hand. He was like, No, no, no, no, give me a hug. So I gave him a hug and I was like, Oh, thanks, Jesse. And then um then we talked a little bit, and that's when I was like, Oh yeah, my friend Ogre's around here somewhere. And then um I said, I'll find it because you're gonna have to talk to her. And then he gave me a kiss on my right cheek. And I was like, I'm never watching this cheek again. And that pretty much was um uh the QA, and then we all lined up for to take pictures with him and to get things signed, and people bought their guitars and album covers and posters. You could also buy posters and then he would sign it for you, you know. And so that was fun. So that was that was pretty that kind of went over because you know, everybody wanted a picture and you know, um, to get things signed. So um, yeah, so that probably took about two hours, I think. Oh, and then they kind of had to rush us because the show was starting the first show. So yeah, so that was the whole QA in the VIP, and that was wonderful.
SPEAKER_06Very nice. So, about how was this a large venue or a small venue?
SPEAKER_03Or it was pretty like uh I would say maybe medium, not too small, not too big, nice size, you know. And in the for the VIP QA, it was it was a lot of people, a lot of people got that ticket, you know, to like talk to him and get their pictures taken.
SPEAKER_06Okay, yeah, very cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that was cool.
SPEAKER_06So a lot of time to spend with him before the actual show.
SPEAKER_03Exactly, exactly. Yeah, oh, and then he had this guitar that had bling bling on it. I call it the bling bling guitar, and he had that. He had two of them. He had one that was gold and one that was silver, so he had that. Okay, wow, that was nice, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Okay, I don't know what happened to Richard.
SPEAKER_03It's I know we just we honestly had another person, his name was Richard.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, let's see if you're sending me a message. Let's see. Okay, they might be sending me a message. Uh got some technical difficulties trying to reconnect. Okay, so he's having some techno technical difficulties. All right, we'll just we'll just keep it moving. Yeah, we'll keep it moving, and uh when he when he comes back, we'll bring him in. Wow. Um technology.
SPEAKER_03Like I said, Alfonso was great. He um, like I said, MC'd. He had like this nice jacket that oh, I forgot what the back of the jacket said, but I think it was it's one of Jesse's songs. Oh, I forgot what the jacket said. Yeah, but free world, yes, free world on the back of his jacket. So yeah, Alfonso was great, great MC, he did a wonderful job, made people laugh, made people have fun. Um, and then so uh so at after the Q ⁇ A and the VIP, we just you know, we get we come back in for the first show, and Jesse just comes out blazing, you know? Yeah, comes out blazing with his group. Oh, everybody, I I don't remember names, but the keyboard player, um, forgot her name. Uh I forgot her name. She played, she's a singer, but she was playing the keyboard. Um, so she was fantastic.
SPEAKER_07Sue and Cornwell.
SPEAKER_03Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_07Sue N Cornwell.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Fantastic, beautiful, lovely lady. The drummer. Oh my goodness, the drummer, awesome. And uh, I guess it was another guitar player, the bass, the bass player. Awesome. His whole group was just great. Yeah. And he just had those people, and the sound that came from just those people, mind blowing.
SPEAKER_06Awesome. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Hey, guess what?
SPEAKER_06Richard Richard's back. Let's let's bring the one and only Richard Cole of Amari Music Richard to the stage. Welcome back, bro. Uh yeah, I see his name. But uh, I don't see him.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_06Oh man, what's going on, Rich? The wonderful world of technology.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06We we see your name, we see a black screen in your spot, but we don't see you. Maybe I would suggest maybe going out and clicking on the link and try to come back in. You're saying so.
SPEAKER_07Rich, can you hear us?
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_11Can you hear me? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I can hear you too.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, we can see you now. It's just frozen, that's all. Everything's really frozen on this side. We can hear you. You hear us?
SPEAKER_11Yeah, kind of frozen.

SPEAKER_06Yeah, he was coming in great.
SPEAKER_03He's probably babes.
SPEAKER_06He's probably gonna go out and come back in, but that's fine. Okay. We'll keep it moving. We'll keep it moving. So I'm yeah, there's a flyer for the Sunday show, the seventh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I didn't go to I didn't go to the Sunday show. I was I went to two both Saturday shows.
SPEAKER_06Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.

SPEAKER_03Okay, great. Ooh.
SPEAKER_06Just so let's just uh let's throw some. I'm just gonna throw some pictures from that weekend up there.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_06Of course. That's him on stage doing his thing.
SPEAKER_03Yes, uh-huh. Uh yeah, really cool venue.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I saw on the wall there that was established in 72, so probably it's been around for a while.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, exactly. Okay, Jesse. Love the outfit. I mean, you know.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, classic Jesse.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, oh, there's Alfonso and Jesse.
SPEAKER_06Oh, look at the cat. Look at the cat. Go Jesse.
SPEAKER_03Nice.
SPEAKER_06Got the the pimp fedora on.

SPEAKER_03Yes, Jesse. We appreciate you. Love you so much.
SPEAKER_06All right. I'll keep it moving.

SPEAKER_03Yeah, and that's one of the guitars with the bling bling on it. Yeah, like the gold and the silver.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_03And there's Biz Big Sexy from the that's Big Sexy from um Michael uh Dean's podcast.
SPEAKER_06Yep.
SPEAKER_03The print podcast. Yeah. Uh-huh. I got the pictures with us. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Very cool guy. Very knowledgeable.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Yeah. He has just uh a couple of questions about like uh sound and tech like a lot of uh I guess that's engineer questions. He oh yeah, just a lot of that, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he's a he's a technical guy when it comes to music. Yeah, like he's got to have it a certain way. Yeah, I don't think he plays or listens to anything unless it's a certain format.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's that's what they were talking about. Like this kind of speaker, this kind of sound. I was like, okay.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's big sexy for sure.
SPEAKER_03Yes, I love it. Yeah, he's on people's guitars. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Who's that? Okay, so that's Olga and me.
SPEAKER_06Okay.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_06Okay. And you had a story behind you and Olga meeting?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that was the story I told earlier about um when we got to the airport, we tagged Jesse in our Instagram story and said, Jesse, we're coming to both shows and we're coming in hot. And you know, he put it on, he got it, he put it on his IG' uh page. And then when he finished the QA, that's when he was like, like that. And I'm like looking behind me, like, who he talking to? And then he's like, you. I was like, me? He's like, come here, come here. That's when I went to the stage, and he was like, Yeah, y'all coming in hot, y'all coming in hot.
SPEAKER_12Awesome, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And then, you know, yeah, that's when he kissed my cheek, and I never I haven't watched it yet.
SPEAKER_06Pretty cool to be recognized, right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, uh, yeah, because I'm like, okay, who are we talking to? Must be you know his manager back then.
SPEAKER_06So welcome back, Richard. You made it back, man. Appreciate it.
SPEAKER_11Yes, yes, once again, through the magic of live television.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just saying earlier, you never know what to expect when you're doing a live stream, yeah. I was like, okay, get some ATT towers out in St. Louis.
SPEAKER_11Yeah. So far, so good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Gotcha. Glad to have you back, bro. All right, we'll keep the moving with the pictures here. Yes, sir. All right, that's all good.
SPEAKER_03That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_06I've got a quick little Jesse story. I was trying to reach this on one of the shows before, but uh Jesse Johnson was actually Jesse Johnson. It was like several different people on the bill, like new edition of the Jets. And Jesse was one of the artists that were performing. This was back in 85 during the Jesse Johnson review. And I was so excited, I was like, okay, I'm not here for new edition. I'm not here for anybody else but Jesse. I'm not the ball. Jesse comes out. He plays for ten seconds and makes the announcement.
SPEAKER_02Oh no. Oh no.
SPEAKER_06Two and a half seconds.
SPEAKER_03Oh no. You should have came to this show because he was on there for like two and a half hours. That's the first show. The second show he probably was in three hours.
SPEAKER_06Wow. Yeah, if I could if I could get Jesse a little bit closer, maybe Atlanta or Charlotte or something. I am there because I'm I'm in the southeast.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Definitely. Especially if he's got new music to promote and get out there. Let's just go ahead and play some of the footage from the June 6 show, so this is gonna be something new for you. I'm thinking Prince's birthday. April seventh. So if you need me to stop the video and you need to say something that's fine, if you want to talk over the video, that's fine too. It's a commentary, that's what that's what it's all about. But let's go ahead and get into it.
SPEAKER_01And that's where you met a guy by the name of Boris Day.
SPEAKER_06This is Alfonso talk.
SPEAKER_12Okay.
SPEAKER_01Alright, okay, tell me about it. I'm only going by what I read on Google. See, I'm learning right now.
SPEAKER_05He came into Minnesota, and he was in a band with me, Morris Day, and Alexander. The band was called Enterprise Band Pleasure. I got that right now.
SPEAKER_06And this is Sylvan Carwell.
SPEAKER_05And the next thing that happened, Prince came down and took him out of the band, and Morris too, and history happened.
SPEAKER_01The time. Right after Perin in 1984, that's when Jesse decided to do his own thing. And um, hence the album, Jesse Johnson Review, and I think you know some songs from that album. Can you help me? I want to be your man. I want my girl. You're gonna hear all those songs tonight and more. Um on behalf of uh Mark Elliott and the A-list music circle, we are so proud to bring Jesse Johnson the Yoshis, you guys. You have no idea. This is history in the making right here in the Bay Area. So you guys are stories.
SPEAKER_05Oh, let's hear this. Bring it. Oh, so when Jesse finally um was in the time, um he got his own deal and everything, and then so um uh I happened to be walking past the record store. And um but previous to that, I worked on That's Me Singing, I think 35 years ago. I don't like it. I like my mic. I might don't like you either, are you about I guess it's been 35, 40 years, you guys. The first, the very first record Jesse Johnson record. Um I did I want my girl with him. So that's me on the background, and I ended doing Love Strike with him. And history went on. So, you know, we have been my brother and sisters forever, and all of us are very close, so we just all kind of grew up together. So that's it.
SPEAKER_01Alright, we gotta get the show started, you guys, because there's another show right after this show that has nothing to do with Jesse Johnson. So with that, very giving up for Jesse Johnson.
SPEAKER_06So was that kind of a repeat of the night before?
SPEAKER_03No, she didn't talk for our show. She didn't talk for our show, they just came out.
SPEAKER_06Gotcha.
SPEAKER_03She's also an awesome dresser.
SPEAKER_05Y'all ready to get funky in here?
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was it was good.
SPEAKER_03It was loud. It was good. It put you it put you on your dancing feet.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I love those smaller venues because that's what you get, like all in your face.
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_11Yeah. We saw the um St. Paul in the Minneapolis All Stores a couple of weeks ago.
SPEAKER_06Nice. Small venue there too.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, City Wall. Nah, I'm drawing a blank on his name because I've been friends with him on Facebook forever. Okay. Um Yeah. He's kind of affiliated with P Funk too. Okay.
SPEAKER_03There's Jesse.
SPEAKER_06Cool Jesse. Always cool.
SPEAKER_12Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I think that's the silver one with the bling.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_11Anything started making them like that to keep people from stealing?
SPEAKER_09I don't want to break the big through the back.
SPEAKER_11I want to open up live versions get better and better.
SPEAKER_07Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06Harvey Rango says, I went to the second show that night. Awesome. So this is actually now. The second night.
SPEAKER_09I will fall to take you out. I will fall up all your hands.
SPEAKER_06He sounds exactly like the record.
SPEAKER_03I know. I was like, whoa!
SPEAKER_06Still.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
unknownDon't take it, don't take it.
SPEAKER_11That's a little different energy too. Like I said, I like this version.
SPEAKER_06Like modified.
SPEAKER_11Yeah. And then you got the newer newer sense too.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
unknownOh, oh, oh.
SPEAKER_06Shelby Zane. Sang.
SPEAKER_11Let's see in the comments.
SPEAKER_06Sang my bro.
SPEAKER_11Shout out to Shelby J. Shelby.
SPEAKER_06Shelby. I'm waiting for a good God.
SPEAKER_11That's gonna be in there probably. Somewhere. Somewhere, I'm sure. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's amazing how that was passed down from James Brown.
SPEAKER_03I forgot I did the show on Sunday and told people to wear pajamas.
SPEAKER_06Uh are you saying Jesse got on pajamas?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he has a pajamas.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but but it's cool. Yeah.
SPEAKER_11Kind of a pitch of the little pitch from the family there.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I remember when we were in high school. We did Can You Help Me at a pet rally once? Couldn't tell us nothing. But we were the only group in high school that did the Minneapolis stuff. This was back in 85. Everybody was into breakdancing and hip-hop, whatever. It got a lot of flack.
SPEAKER_11But like yeah, around the time if you would look like 18, 1920. Yeah, kind of towards, you know, get the band. You know, everybody wouldn't play. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02My high school did the same thing. We had a band. I think they called themselves purple.
SPEAKER_11Just purple.
SPEAKER_09Just purple. Yep.
SPEAKER_06Our band name was Delta Sweat.
SPEAKER_09Cool name. Yeah, that's cool.
SPEAKER_06From the 12-inch of Little Bit Corvette.
SPEAKER_11Everything we came up with was always taken. Like schoolboys, that name was taken. High fashion, that name was taken. Finally came up with the chaotic beat. Nobody took that one.
SPEAKER_07Right.
SPEAKER_02That's cool. Chaotic beat. I like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, we got some old tapes around somewhere.
SPEAKER_07Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_09I'm a bunch of water girls.
SPEAKER_11Some people say Um That's a little different with the beat.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Eleanor Garcia. I wish I could tell what you're saying, but I'm sure it's something nice. Appreciate it. Does anybody know? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh.
SPEAKER_11Hello.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Hello, hola Elamor Garcia. Thank you for joining. Oh. I gotta I gotta I gotta get the Jesse vibe.
SPEAKER_02Here you go, here you go. Okay.
SPEAKER_06Wish I had my pet fedora. I do have one. Yeah, I was a keyboard player back in the day.
SPEAKER_11That's kind of some like some Eddie Hazel, Michael Hampton on the solo. Oh yeah. Different different from the record.
SPEAKER_06So underrated, man. One of the baddest guitarists.
SPEAKER_11I'm trying to do more videos, trying to, you know, like give Jesse more shine and funky cars more shine.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_06Hello. Hello, Sheryl. Sure.
SPEAKER_03Charles the one who told me that Jesse was having a conference. I didn't even know. Normally I know stuff. Sherl, do you know it's both? Okay, okay. Okay, I can get my picture.
SPEAKER_06Shout out and thank you to Sherro. And Eleanor was here to see it. She's back and she says. Hi y'all, something here we go. Yeah, something we're gonna stay. Hi y'all.
SPEAKER_11One of the greatest.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03I really hope he does take this and you know, go around to the different states. It was really good.
SPEAKER_11Hey, he was killing it even.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he wasn't killing it. Yeah, good.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he's talking about now, yeah.
SPEAKER_10No show, that's right.
SPEAKER_02Sounding good.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Who knew?
SPEAKER_02Right?
SPEAKER_06Did you see him on video so back in the day doing Black in America with Marviking?
SPEAKER_03I know video soul, but I don't remember that.
SPEAKER_06Okay. No, he was actually a guest. Yeah, he was with Donnie Simpson on the couch.
SPEAKER_11Oh, he brought us.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Maybe soon you did a good job. Awesome version.
SPEAKER_10Thank you. Thank you. I wasn't at sound such a time asleep.
unknownAnd I had a room full of Robbie friends. I was in the bedroom asleep, but they were sleeping, right?

SPEAKER_02He sound good and he's sick.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Killing me.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, either they yeah, either they'll soldier it through, or like sometimes they'll have like different remedies.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_11Like little Richard had like this steam remedy that he talked to the Paul McCartney too. Serve his voice.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. He was drinking pea and he called it a name and I forgot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_12She came presses.
SPEAKER_06Oh wow. Right, isn't you crazy?

SPEAKER_02Right now. Oh, I love that. You'll pull it feel ya.
SPEAKER_07Come into the stage.
SPEAKER_09I just wanna shake you with the hat, you fall in that you sit down. I just wanna know ya. I didn't get to know ya.

SPEAKER_11Yeah, shout out to the great slash stone.
SPEAKER_09What the hell are you gonna do? Crazy are you, crazy are you, crazy, crazy are you? Crazy are you?
SPEAKER_11Just two land on the keyboard. There's not like a second keyboard or something.

SPEAKER_06Thank you so much for joining, Shelby. Love you.
SPEAKER_11Yeah. Love.
SPEAKER_06See you next time. That was a treat.
SPEAKER_09Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. Sing a job. Go, go, go, go, go.
unknownGo, go, go to church. Go go.
SPEAKER_06I think I see Michelle in a lot of the Minneapolis events.
SPEAKER_11And I like that this lineup is uh it's small, but it it they give like a really big sound.
SPEAKER_03I guess what I was saying is one keyboard, one bass player, one drummer, and one guitar.
SPEAKER_02I was like, wow, sound is awful. Yeah, yeah.
unknownI really had a plan for it.
SPEAKER_06I mean, he's doing guitar all by himself.
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_06Usually you have like a rhythm and a lead, he's just doing it all.
SPEAKER_11Exactly. But you know, you had like the trios, you know, like Hendrix, Experience, um you had um drawing the blank uh cream, you know, power trios and stuff. So they could do get that big sound like that. But yeah, you're right, doing funk or RB, you know, with just four pieces like that. Yeah. This I'm just this is amazed drawing.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it is. Here you go, Richard. This is the bass player's name. Basses with the James Brown. Roncat.
SPEAKER_10Apologies for not remembering that. I left it though. That's why I sound like very white now.
SPEAKER_06London checking in. Thanks for joining from London. Colin check it by Ruby. Appreciate it. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_10Uh uh, let me give me one second.
SPEAKER_11It's not right now. I'll so too. Yeah, don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell.
SPEAKER_06Exactly, yeah. While you're here, please subscribe. Tell a friend. Yeah, wake the kids, phone the neighbors, man. Hit the bell for future notifications when we drop a new episode. Thank you so much. So I have his song run down for this concert in my office.
SPEAKER_03Wow. Oh wow, okay.
SPEAKER_06That's cool, you said frameworthy? Yeah.
SPEAKER_11Oh, so she had the one that was probably like taped to the monitor or taped to the floor.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's a good question. It's a good question. Is it handwritten? Was it on stage taped to the monitor? Help us out, Lisa.
SPEAKER_11Oh, handwritten. Okay.
SPEAKER_10I don't want to sound good target right now. I sound crazy right now. I'm gonna sound like the same guy from what a way of doing. So I think we need to bring the cabaret version of the rest of the song.
SPEAKER_09It was like a motherfucker's great way.
SPEAKER_11Oh yeah, he didn't sign it, but yeah, that's what he has is the actual set list. Yes, I don't know. Oh yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_10Demon. Somebody said something. I keep looking and then I forget what I'm talking about. So keep on up there for a shower.
SPEAKER_03I I want my girl at me.
SPEAKER_06Yes, a whole different whole different vibe.
SPEAKER_11Yeah.
SPEAKER_12Oh my god.
SPEAKER_06He came out with a pink suit, and Dick Clark asked him what was up with a pink suit. He was like, This this is just a vision of loveliness.
SPEAKER_11Oh no, that was the uh I remember now, yes. He also did that when the time was on here, too.
SPEAKER_07Oh yeah?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, screaming.
SPEAKER_04So he screamed somebody call the police. Somebody called the police.
SPEAKER_09But it's a part of the meeting I'll be.
SPEAKER_06Thanks for joining Patrice. Minneapolis, shout out to Minneapolis. Where it all started.
SPEAKER_11Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_12But to be honest.
SPEAKER_06Thank you so much for joining Theresa. I think this is where the footage started for the night of the seven. Did he do any of the like time or verbal penetration or bare my nickname song?
SPEAKER_03Um I second so she's a little bit. Oh my goodness. I can't remember now. I know he did from the album. The second album. The one that says free or I don't know if it's the second or the third album.
SPEAKER_10Okay.
SPEAKER_03Where is it? Free to people. Free people.
SPEAKER_10Okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think he did stuff from that album. And I think he did free. Free world.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, we need to do like a full band or full band or anything.
SPEAKER_06Maybe there are still stipulations on that stuff.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, that's from the Shockadello Calum, I think.
SPEAKER_06Washington, DC, Virginia.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_06Thanks for joining from Washington, D.C., Virginia. It was my neck of the woods at one time.
SPEAKER_11He went deep cut on this. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06Doing some stuff we wouldn't expect him to do. Stuff still sounds good though, man. You can't put this on the radio.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, this is a nice uh live version of it. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_06You just you just can't get this kind of stuff on the radio anymore, man.
SPEAKER_11No. Not mainstream radio.
SPEAKER_00Uh uh.
SPEAKER_02He brought us up on stage.
SPEAKER_11That's for sure.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, a lot of um Prince Purple people up there. Okay.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_06You and Olga.
SPEAKER_03Right? Olga kidnapped. Go ogre.
SPEAKER_06Shout out to Olga. Too bad she couldn't join in.
unknownAlright, Tom, give it a break.
SPEAKER_06You get my life from it. Bear my nigga, so okay, so we did one from that album. Okay.
SPEAKER_03I need to get that album.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_11Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I was listening to verbal penetration today.
SPEAKER_03He talked about it, but I don't think he did it. But people wanted him to do it, and he's like, I'll buy him doing that.
SPEAKER_11So much stuff on that album you could have done.
SPEAKER_06Mm-hmm. Yeah, if you didn't know any better, you would think that was a double album. There was so much music on it.
SPEAKER_11Oh, yeah, two CDs, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. There was a double album.
SPEAKER_11Rally final. Who knows? It might be four albums.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_06I saw him come back there to you guys at one point. Did he do that yet or is he gonna do it? I saw that when I was doing the review of the video.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, noticed.
SPEAKER_03I don't think it's a little bit.
SPEAKER_06We don't get enough cutter, but they carry the beat as well.
SPEAKER_09What's that? What's that? What's that? What's that?
SPEAKER_11Another big burner.
SPEAKER_09What's that? Open it, what's that? Open it. Come on, you big bad. Up up. What's that? What's that? What's that? What's that? When you win this game broken? When you can do it broken. Still all your stuff. What's that?
unknownWhat's that?
SPEAKER_06Oh y'all haven't good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that was like the highlight being on the thing.
SPEAKER_11Well, anyway, we don't want the thing we want. You know, it's you know, what yeah.
SPEAKER_06You just have to come up and do that, right? I'm going up there and I'm doing this. Watch me. Oh, Charlotte in the house. Right down the street. What's the beleza? No answer. We got clowning. And we got the best receivers from the game tags today. Time to be somebody. Well, that's it for that video. No. I know, man. Bring that beat back. Yeah.
SPEAKER_12Bring that back. Bring that beat back.
SPEAKER_06Go on forever, man. This is non-stop.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. We could have saved it all night.
SPEAKER_06Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure. I do have footage from the QA if you want to check out some of that. If not, that's cool too.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I want to see. Let's see what you got.
SPEAKER_06Let's throw it up. Let's throw it out. It's kind of muffled, so hopefully we can make it out. I think the guy was dooming on the slide and he had his phone under the table.
SPEAKER_10Oh, yeah, because they did not have video, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_10Oh, bear my naked soul. Yeah, yeah. It's gonna be the three record thing that's coming out. It's gonna be an add-on.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah, you got that right, Elisa.
SPEAKER_10It probably recovered.
SPEAKER_06Rice is so small.
SPEAKER_10I want a naked lady on my shoulders. Who's that? I don't feel like she's naked. That's misogynist. No, then she's fine. She looks good as well. So I just want one cover with a naked lady on. No, it's gonna get remastered and it's gonna be an add-on. It's gonna, I know that record would be one. And then there's a bunch of like outtakes and demos and stuff that I'm literally almost giving away for free.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, this is pretty good.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I remember this, yeah. Family over there, Miss Zina and Sulan, they're mad at me because I'm giving away everything. I'm giving away all my gold, records, platinum records, everything. Grammys, every award because he's being slic. I know what I've done.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he's trying to hide.
SPEAKER_10So she's gonna be like, put your phone down. Oh, here it comes. Nowhere else, but so I'm gonna get it all in the way, and what and how's it gonna work? It's like dope guitars and things like that. It's like your buyer number, blah, blah, blah, you'll get this. And so I've done this thing there, but I thought it was crazy, but I actually learned it from friends. I went in, he took me in a room in the back of uh one of the bedrooms in his house, and he opened up the closet and goes, Listen, look at this. I didn't know what I was looking at, but it was like the he had everything. It's like he knew he was gonna beat things. He had every shoe, every jacket, everything he wore on the cover because it was hanging right there in his closet because it was platforms that must have been from the first album. I didn't know what I was looking for. I was like, cool. But when I figured it out, then when I went in with the time, I have everything. I have like I was pulling game plates off the doors and shit, like the time on it, or something, anything. I mean, I have everything, and so I'm giving all that away. I'm like, you know, wow. If you move by the record, I'm just gonna get people's address, and they don't know what they're getting. If I get time cassettes, I'm open, may not even play, you get all kind of shit. I'm just getting I just got this when I went on. Right. I was saying the same thing. I'll take it. Crowd was cool tonight, crowd wasn't that cool, you know, and all that. Just got my hand writing and I don't give it all that away. Okay, we got time for uh two more questions.
SPEAKER_01You sir.
SPEAKER_04Uh you mentioned the compilation albums coming up, so that is officially you're okay with that. I guess compilation albums. There's there's a sign out on Facebook yesterday for uh Cherry Red in the UK taking orders for your first three AM records as a compilation. Okay, so that's why I was asked because you notify it if you don't want it to.
SPEAKER_10No, it's okay. I hope they do sell five million countries anymore because I ain't still in television. No, but what it is, I've been so fortunate, like all the this 22, I think it is 22, 2022, all my copyrights masters publishing everything came back to me. So they can do whatever they want to. So they don't have to give it to me. All that time went by publishing and all that shit from someone. Everybody knows that what what uh record people know about is the copyright. The copyright share. No one no labels ever need to get to uh recording artists. Publishers are book writers know about copyright. That's why the guy who wrote a great salesman still making tons out of that one book because it was printed in lines for every language on earth. And so artists don't know about that. So somebody needs to start doing scenarios with artists about owning your copyright from the game because you don't own it and you don't own it, and you don't know you own it until it these things come up. Yeah, I think I filed in you gotta file like two and a half years. It's like getting a divorce anonymously, you gotta file like two and a half years in advance, and then the companies is really kind of fucked up. The companies will put an ad in the paper. I don't get a paper. But they'll put an ad in the paper, it runs for seven days. If you don't respond to that, they get that shit for another like 60 years or something. So luckily I have you know had really good attorneys and I thought that 2017 and so you go fast forward 2021, 2022 when everything started coming back. And now with all the legislation that was passed, in 2013 you don't have to wait 2017. Because I'm telling you, Prince more Prince and Michael? Shit. That dashes were dick was holding a lot of serious, serious. I mean, imagine Prince hold a copyright massive purple ring. He and every other record that before that, I mean it's serious money, like serious money. Serious. Even crazy as he is and all that with his uh, you know uh R. Kelly. Independent publisher, he owns everything he ever did. The whole time. It's like two of the biggest publishers in the world. Independent publishers that ever die anymore. So that's what I do now. I apologize, but I own all that shit. So if it does what it does, be surprised. If you own it, you don't have to do big time. You'll be living in hookers and cocaine if that's your thing. I wish that was my thing.
SPEAKER_08I don't know if um I got to leave that maybe three or four years ago. Three hours. Yes. And we were talking with the blue piece right now. A story that came into detail. A story about a blue piece I guess you had with the Princess Vang. It was like the most hilarious story I guess. Yeah, how do you see it? So can you speak on that display?
SPEAKER_10This is funny. Yeah. This is saying when you like the first tour, the first tour, we knew nothing. I mean, when I say we mean nothing, we don't mean nothing. So the first tour, first time off there was a controversy on it. So the first tour we came out, we didn't know shit. We didn't know anything, we know shit. So the second tour, um our manager at the time, Jamie Shu walked in with the uh swatches for material on a Sunday. The time that rehearsed Sunday week was uh a lot, I guess before we could be watching. So we rehearsed. Jamie walked in with uh swatches from the material. And it was a when the time we would go on, the prince would cut, you know, you couldn't use uh, you know, they wouldn't use all the lights we could have. Like how lights and I was really stupid. I was wearing black, so I really disappeared. She walked in with the swatches, and so everybody thinks when I wear her fuchsia, they think that it was a plan thing. It wasn't nothing like that. She walked in with this watch is a material and it was a shark skin. You know how shark skin changes colors and it was a shark skin fuchsia, fuchsia swatch, and I said, you should wear this, and he said, Oh no, people already say enough stuff about me. And when he said that to me, and I took on the miss Bernardo, and I was like, I'll wear it. I was like, I'll wear it in that thought, it was that simple. And so it worked, it worked, but it wasn't planned. So it worked because I would come on stage in the dark, he'd be like, hey, Joel Lusena, 30,000 people, and you walk on stage in the dark, and people go, jazz, jazz. And you're like, damn, see how he's seeing shit. But because we learned what we learned getting our ass kicked up, we kicked the shit out of him on the second tour. And then and if anybody say we didn't, y'all didn't see that tour. Because we we were double shifting it. Like we were behind a curtain for Vanity's six, killing that shit. Bam, bam, bam, but with beards and shit on, crazy shit. Because you know it was a big places, and people would come around on the stage, they could see us. So we would all have to. Then we'd run off stage with a time, have 11 minutes to get hair, makeup, clothes, and be right back there. Ready to go. So we were kind of, and we would, and then, and for most of the tour, for good, almost half of the tour, we went getting paid for it. So we were angry. So when y'all see us on stage and we weren't, we were really like we were angry because we were killing it, we were taking it out on the music. But yeah, we were really, it was really like that. We were really like that. So at the end of the tour, because Prence was like, you know, he would he would do things to you, but you can do them to back. So after the second tour, he's like, fuck that. So he used to do this thing in the song. It was like, I think it was less work. And he would, you know, he would he'd reach into his trench coat pocket and pull out his little dainty underwear and be like that. Man, we were like, we stopped in Denver and I was walking, I was, I would go out, I would run it up and down the hallways just to say and say whatever. So Denver, I said, I'm not gonna go outside because people say you can't breathe here. But I went outside and was looking down downtown Denver, and I saw like a shop that had a pair of underwear that was like lease this big. I don't know who this shit is for, but I was like, I want those. And so I bought them and I was waiting for the light opportunity, and so was the last day of tour, and it was us there's a time no the time zap, I think was on. No, yeah, so it had to be the controversy tour because it wasn't a zap. It was a time zap, friend. So I put that shit in the talk, and we're on this side of the stage. And I'm telling you, I'll sit on the side of this. We're standing on this side of the stage. This is the audience, y'all the audience in there's this side, we're on this side, just waiting. He goes, I got my side. People are shitting me. He did it like this. I'm telling you that he was mad and keeping us like Stanley Kubrick. He was really high. And everybody was like scared.
SPEAKER_09Power was laughing, my ass, like it was like, you know, when the magician pulled his car.
SPEAKER_10He, I swear to God, I wish it was kind of funny, but I'm really glad there wasn't, because at the time we were a bunch of fools. So we were, you know, Riverisa got in the ground and meet up fans and shit after the show that threw shit because we were we were no joke. So he pulled that shit. He's like, oh god. And he almost stopped singing. And he held the shit up. I was dying. So after that, we were like, no, we gave these, we gave these motherfuckers. So we had two green garbage bags, put a hole in weed to put onto them. We had that shit on like the military. It was juicing back then when people had the curls, we had the juice bags on our head, and just tons of eggs that were waiting in. So we we went to chase him, and he actually got in trouble because it was a like, I forget how high the stage was. It was a, you know, it was a big idea, I like a colise hand type. So the stage was really high, like really like 10, 20 feet almost in there. And he was running, and Zap had this massive, massive set of drums that were on the rolling platform thing where they were rolling out and rolling out. And he was running and hit those drums and they went right over the cliff. That was him. So we were like, he was running so hard anyway. We we da da da da. Then he had that dude, he had a man, Big Chick. So Big Chick, I was by myself, and so Big Chad, Big Chick grabbed me from behind, so Big Chick got me like that, lifted me into the dressing room, and they chained, they handcuffed me to this coat rack, and they're like, Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they're like throwing shit at me, and I'm like, I'm gonna kill you. And it was a colt rack, and you know, we play the places where like the sports teams play. So I'm like moving this thing, and then I'm getting mad at matter. I yanked that shit down totally. You ever seen Roaches and hit the lights on? Some of y'all know what I'm talking about. My first minute is gonna be like everybody's ever. So they and I I went after Prince, and he was Bobby Z ran through the door first, and it was one of those doors that closed, you know. And Prince kept looking back. Don't look back. But he kept looking back, and then the door, the edge of the door, I really thought he hurt himself, but he ran and he and the door, wherever the door was like the end of that door really hard, like BAM! But he slid around the door and kept. I was like, okay, I'm good. And then I opened the door, and all the time members are there with uh garbage bags on. And then we then we attacked the man. We almost killed that man. Only one we didn't fuck with because he was we didn't get along. We never said two words to him was Dez Dickerson. Because he didn't say nothing to anybody and we didn't say nothing to his ass in. But yeah, it was it was an epic food, but it was epic. I mean, it was so bad Terry Lewis was, we had Matt Fink, and Terry was so close to him that Terry, you know if somebody's this close to you and you miss them. It was so bad, he was caught.
SPEAKER_09The eggs were breaking in his hand because he was like, oh, you're missing and he was this close. He was so bad, he was breaking it off the floor.
SPEAKER_02Nice. Yeah, that was funny.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I love stories like that, man.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. I forgot about that. Yeah, those are good stories. Talk for an hour about all the stories and then do a concert. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_11That's a good idea. Yeah, that's a good idea. Right.
SPEAKER_06So man, let's see. What do we learn from this? Funk never dies, right?
SPEAKER_11That's right. That's right. It not only moves, it removes. That's right.
SPEAKER_06That's right.
SPEAKER_02Keeps it all going.
SPEAKER_06That's right. So Tony, did you want to talk about um the um the purple bowling party? I don't think we mentioned that.
SPEAKER_03Oh, um the per the purple night with Shelby? Shelby J's?
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so that's um that's June 7th, and that's a night of purple music, and that's at the Dakotas. And I believe the doors open at 5:30, and the show starts, I think 7. Yeah, but um, it's on her uh Instagram page. Yeah, and you can also get tickets at Dakotas. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06This is the one with Maite as well, right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Maite is doing a bowling night. That's June 6th, and that's for her charity.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, this is separate then.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, this is it's separate. Uh-huh. Okay, so yeah, so she's doing a charity event for Live for Love, and that's June 6th, and it's uh for uh bowling. So all proceeds go to Live for Love. That's the bowling. And she added uh a dance class, and I I don't remember if it was June 6th that in the day, like around noon that day, I'm not sure, but it's uh June 6th is a dance class that she's having.
SPEAKER_12Yeah, okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So that's what she's doing, and and then she'll be in uh I think St. Paul and the funk all-stars and other people for the June 7th, yeah, at the Dakota.
SPEAKER_06Dakota's yeah.
SPEAKER_03Right, yes, uh-huh.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so if anybody's up in Minneapolis for celebration, should check that out. Are you going to celebration this year?
SPEAKER_03I'm going to celebration, but now celebration is later, you know, later during the month of June. It's yeah. Yeah. Yeah, to like the 24th, yeah. So that's celebration. But you know, Shelby and uh and other people and Maite are doing the thing June 6th and June 7th, yeah, around Prince's birthday.
SPEAKER_06Way before.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, way before, yeah. So if you make it twice, you can make it twice. Yeah, you make it twice.
SPEAKER_06People that live in Minneapolis, you know, they're fortunate.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. Right, exactly.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, of course they would have been perfect if they if they would have kept the dates around June 7th, that first week of June, then everything could have been together.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. That would have been awesome. But now you know at Celebration, um, the revolution is gonna perform at First Avenue, which is gonna be epic.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, right, yeah, right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's later on uh the end of June. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I'm curious to see how they're gonna do because and on the list of events for celebration, Morris Day is on the list, but the time's not on the list. So I'm curious to see what's gonna happen with with that.
SPEAKER_03Right, yeah, yeah. Let's see what happened. Maybe there'll be some surprises.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, I hope they work work that out with the name.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah. Richard and I were talking about that a couple episodes back about what our dream celebration would be, and one of mine was to see the original Time members there.
SPEAKER_03Yes, that would be my dream too. I I know the time when he did Girl, I was a fool. I forgot his name of that song. Girl, girl, okay, yeah, that. Uh-huh. So that would be cool. The original members, yeah.
SPEAKER_10Yes.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06All right. Well, I appreciate both of you coming on. I wish Alfonso was here, but I'm sure he will be watching at some point. Um, we'll get him on later to talk. Because he said he has some Jesse Johnson stories to tell, too.
SPEAKER_11Oh, okay.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but hats off to him for doing what he's doing with those kids and uh uh anything else you guys want to want to say before we get out of here?
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah. Shout out to MPG because they're also gonna be at celebration. Yeah. And they're also going overseas. So if you want to go like overseas for the summer, the month of July, around 4th of July, they're gonna be overseas.
SPEAKER_06I think I saw some of those days like Rotterdam and some other places.
SPEAKER_03Yes, uh-huh. And in France, I think Vienna. No, Bien, Bien.
SPEAKER_06Okay, yeah. I think I just saw where Shelby J just came from the Netherlands doing something over there.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, she with Candy Duffer. Yeah. Uh-huh. She was over there with her and some other prince. Oh, Shelly E, yeah. And Ida.

SPEAKER_06Nice. Yeah. Oh, for sure. I'm gonna check out Morris Day and the Time on the last part of May here in my city.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. Yeah. I'm excited. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Excited about that. Well, maybe hopefully, since now that Shave Shelby J knows about the podcast, I can get her on the show sometime.
SPEAKER_12I'll see what I can do. Put a little bug in her ear.
SPEAKER_06Oh man, I'd love to talk to Shelby so down to earth.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I'll put a little bug in some of their ears then. Okay, I'll see what I can do.
SPEAKER_11Welcome to mine too. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Richard's got a show too. So speaking of that.

SPEAKER_06Speaking of that, everybody.
SPEAKER_03I'll see.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. So where can everybody find you guys on social media? I know, Richard, you got a show. So you want to talk about that for a second?
SPEAKER_11Yes, it's a Mari Music Talk. Uh, we talk about Prince, the whole Minneapolis scene, and also other, you know, P Funk, uh, Osley Brothers, the whole history of black music. And that is on YouTube as well. Oh, cool. Awesome. Nice. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Very good show to have checked it out.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_06What about you?
SPEAKER_03I'm just Tanya D. Harris on Facebook, and I just post stuff about all the concerts that I go to that deal with um anything and everything Prince, all his bands that played for him. I just try to make all the concerts and go. And I also do my Delta stuff.
SPEAKER_06Okay. So you're a good promoter.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I guess so. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Well, I'm sure everybody in the purple community appreciates you and how you promote them. Yeah. We certainly do. Yeah. So thank you. With that said, I think we'll just go on and uh wrap it up because we've gone, let's see, we've gone about an hour and 35 minutes. That's a record for me, but well worth the time spent.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, this was fun. This was so much fun, guys.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, thank you for having me on.
SPEAKER_06Yes, sir. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Thank you for having me too.
