there's a quiet truth we don't always say out loud. Most of us are still becoming. Not finished, not settled, not as clear as we wish we were. Just in process. And part of that process is learning the difference between seeing something and really taking notice. We move through our days focused on what is right in front of us. What needs fixing, what needs doing, what needs our attention now. And yet, so much of life, so much of grace, so much of Christ sits just beyond that focus. Not gone. Not distant. Just off to the side, beyond the periphery of our noticing. In the resurrection stories, people encounter Jesus and still don't recognize him. Mary Magdalene sees him and thinks he's a gardener. The disciples walk alongside him and don't realize who's keeping pace. Thomas, the apostle, hears a testimony and says, I need more. And none of them are failures of faith. They are people in motion, people becoming. Because faith isn't always about getting it right the first time. Sometimes it's about staying long enough for something to shift. For what was once on the edges to move into the center. For what didn't make sense to finally click. And maybe that's where you are today. Not behind, not missing it, just not finished yet. Still becoming. And if that's true, then maybe the question isn't whether Christ is present. Maybe the question is what or who has been quietly walking with you. Just beyond your noticing. Stay with that. We'll come back to it. Comment.
