From the age of 4 to 12, my life looked very different from the other kids around me. No birthdays. No Christmas. No holidays at all. While everyone else was celebrating, I was learning what it felt like to sit on the outside… watching.

In this episode, I’m sharing my experience growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness — the structure, the routines, the door knocking in the cold, and the quiet ways it shaped how I saw myself and where I belonged.

This isn’t about criticism — it’s about perspective. About what it feels like as a child to be set apart, and how those early experiences can stay with you longer than you expect.

If you’ve ever felt different, left out, or like you didn’t quite fit growing up… this one will meet you there.
