🌅 He is with us.
His obituary was in the paper. The stone was in place. Rome's finest were on guard. And yet — somehow — Jesus showed up hungry for breakfast.
He didn't go looking for better followers. He went back to the deniers, the doubters, the deserters. He chased after the ragtag, the deeply flawed, the ones who ran.
Which means He's chasing after us too.
The sting is gone. Death didn't win. And today — this glorious, impossible morning — we get to begin again.
May you live today with wide-eyed wonder. May you eat, work, sing, and laugh like it's the first time you've ever gotten to. May cynicism have no room at your table this morning.
