Hey, so okay, so then I'm not talking to you for I don't know how long, man, or we're just kind of talking off and on the way that we do. Then all of a sudden, the new love of your life, cycling comes into play. Tell me about that, bro. Like, how long have you been cycling now? Like, and I'm talking about Lance Armstrong cycling.
SPEAKER_02Like right, like riding for what? Like for fun. Everyone rides their bike. You know what I mean? Not me. Maybe you should, dog.
SPEAKER_00Maybe you should. But this we thought he was gonna start just riding a bike all of a sudden. I was like, ah, I don't know, bro. And he bought one, but it's not like one of those, though, right?
SPEAKER_01I bought a BMX bike and I bought like a you're gonna be pedaling a lot.
SPEAKER_02That's that's cardio, baby. It's because the gears, the gears are small.
SPEAKER_01Not only that, it was like it was like a 20, uh, a 20-inch. So it was like small, super sporty, you know. And I knew I I knew nothing about it. I wanted something more of a like a cruiser. You know what I'm saying? Like a beach cruiser.
SPEAKER_02Hell no, don't forget.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I don't know if you've seen they do like they do like 20 inch now, 27 inch BMX now. And it's like yeah, they're pretty cool.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's like uh it's like a freestyle, it's sort of like freestyle, but like fixed gear by it's like a one gear, right?
SPEAKER_01Something like that, right?
SPEAKER_02Okay, yeah, those are cool because you can put bigger tires on them, super comfortable. If anyone's gonna ride a bike, I suggest get one that has bigger tires. Yeah, okay, because you ain't used to those little shits. I'm sure I'm telling you, nah, you feel everything on that. So for just to go faster. And I don't even think if you're trying to enjoy it, yeah, bigger tires.
SPEAKER_01And they're like super like sensitive. Like you have to know what you're doing. Those are like advanced bikes.
SPEAKER_00I guess Xavier thought, oh, it's a bike, I could ride it. That's it. Like that's that's the extent uh that's the extent of uh his research. That's it. Two wheels, got it, boom, done. Remember this one when I was like, yeah, yeah, just go like that, and that's it. Yeah, man. So um, I guess what what got you into that, or when did you first start doing that? I was it seems like a long time now.
SPEAKER_02I think it's been like, oh, you know what? I got a I got a reminder. I was like 11 years ago today, and I was like at like some race in San Antonio. For real? Like the Midnight Crit. You've seen those where I post them, right? I think so. So I've been so that's been like a tradition in San Antonio, like an underground race for the longest time. It's been around for fucking probably like 15, maybe 16, maybe I don't know, 18 years. I don't know. But when I first started riding, it was a little mountain bike, and I could talk forever about this, so I'll freaking chop it up. So it was a mountain bike. My brother um bought it for me. Um, and I just enjoyed that. That shit was fun, like a mountain bike, big tires. You could go do anything.
SPEAKER_00You would just cruise it like around the neighborhood.
SPEAKER_02Just cruise around, go to the parks, and like you know, find like little hills like McAllister and other other spots like that, like OP, OP Schnabel, and then I think that's what it's called. Yeah, I've I've been there. And then uh Banderna. And then yeah, and then like to uh to be quite honest, the only reason I did it was because I was so fucking depressed. I needed an outlet. No way, yeah. Fuck yeah. We were there, you know, we all go through shit, like, and it's like something like it's it's such a guy thing to be like, dude, oh I'm fucking, you know, I'm depressed, but I'm not gonna tell nobody about it because I'm gonna be macho. Like, that's the fucking downfall of machismo is like just because you know how you feel doesn't mean you have to be macho about it. It's like it doesn't make you any less of a man either, like understanding these things, you know.
SPEAKER_00I've always felt that whenever I have these conversations, so like obviously, I always say every podcast, it gets kind of old, like the reason why I started this podcast or whatever, you know, because I have these conversations, and for me, you know, obviously I don't say every single thing that I'm going through on the podcast, but like if we were talking by ourselves, I could say Oh, yeah, we would definitely go. Yeah, we would get a little bit deeper, right? A little bit more personal and stuff like that. But you know, obviously, I don't put all of my stuff out on Front Street and I don't expect everybody else to do that as well. But that's what helps me decompress. And then I've gotten my my therapist right here, bro, upstairs, and I'm just all like, hey man, you know, like so I need to let it out. Yeah, I'm not the type that can kind of hold it in.
SPEAKER_02People need people need to know that. It's like, bro, you just you gotta talk about it. It's like you gotta talk about it. There's gotta be some space where you can go, somebody you know to talk about this shit. Because like, dude, that shit'll bury you. Like, literally, like that shit'll bury you. It's probably don't let it out. Like, definitely gotta think about it.
SPEAKER_00And it's probably the reason why, like, you know, there's confession and things like that, because I mean, everybody's been going through this since the beginning of time, and if you don't let out, like the way that you said, especially men, I think that uh there's there's power and vulnerability because you just let it out. If not, man, it's gonna consume you. And what we always try and do, which is obviously what you're probably about to say, is that we try and exert this energy physically.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's that helps a lot, like that. The gym helps out a lot. When I used to go a lot, I was back in there for like four or five days a week.
SPEAKER_00So I saw this this dude, like, he's working out like crazy, right? He's doing some crazy shit. You know, like they're like, damn, bro, like what does she do? Or they're like, who what's her name, bro?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, who hurt you? There's truth, there's truth behind it though. Big time, bro. That's the that's why it's that's why it's a thing. It's like who hurt you? Like, yeah, we fucking know, we know you got hurt, motherfucker. We know where you're in here, you're not trying to embatter yourself.
SPEAKER_00I was like, you're releasing stress, and like always to the and it's up to the point, too, man, where I think people will stay in the position that they're in, even though it's not ideal, because they don't want to go through the hurt. You know what I'm saying? They prolong it and they're just all like, nah, I'm just gonna stay where I'm at because I call it the abyss. I'm like, because I'm not gonna go out in the abyss and be by myself and be with my thoughts and all of that stuff.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, some people really rely on others to like make them feel good about themselves. And we don't look inward. Definitely, a lot of people don't look inward, they look outward for acceptance. They want to get accepted by them, they want to be accepted by them, they want this girl to like them, they want acceptance from them, and like they forget to put themselves first, bro.
SPEAKER_00Like, especially when we're younger men. So when we're younger, and what do they call it? The pre prefrontal um cortex when it's not a hundred percent developed, especially in men, dude.
SPEAKER_02Like crazy shit.
SPEAKER_00Bro, we get on tractors and shit.
SPEAKER_02You do some crazy that's not even crazy. It's like there's that's crazy shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that that's mild sauce, but uh yeah, man. Uh me, man, I would booze it up.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. And and alcohol's a big thing, too. Alcohol is a crazy big thing.
SPEAKER_00Like so well, growing up where we're where we're from, dog. Did we have a limit? Nah. You know what I'm saying? It would there was no limit, it was that much we could get our hands on. You know what I'm saying? So obviously, just it was a recipe for disaster, especially for a person like myself. And kind of lucky we got away from the city.
SPEAKER_02Dude, that's how I feel now. We're extremely lucky we didn't get sucked in more to that lifestyle to where it like dictated our future. Big time, bro. You know, like I'm I'm I'm lucky, bro. Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_00That was that was definitely bumps in the road for me, big time. You know what I'm saying? They could have really, you know, um veered me off the path or whatnot. But you know, the thing about it though is, and it's so wicked, bro. I mean, you could call it the devil, you can call it whatever you want, you know. But isn't it so wicked, Josh, that it's disguised in fun? You know what I'm saying? It's like, oh, this is a great time. This is badass. I'm having fun, I'm being myself, and this everybody likes me. All my jokes are hidden. They're the best. Yeah, the stripper actually likes me. She likes to be for who I am. She might. She actually might, but she still needs a paycheck. For sure, for sure. So it's uh uh what a $20 a dance, three dance minimum, and she loves you. I'm like, oh, that's it, cool. You found love, yeah. That's it. That's true love. Hey, man, but that's love, man. There's that love, this is that San Antonio love island. Word up. No, man. So obviously, you know, not knowing, like, like just not having, I don't know. Okay, so your brother is what, three years older than you? Four.
SPEAKER_02Zach, yeah, Zach.
SPEAKER_00Two, two, two, oh man, so y'all were right there. Xavier's five, right? So we're all growing up together, dude. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? So anyway, um, you were gonna shoot up a school, and then what happened? Nah. Oh, the the whole bike. Oh, oh, that's what I was gonna say. Um, speaking of which, I was just listening to this dude, and he was like, I was gonna become a mass shooter. And it was like, I was a day away from becoming a before I found um before I found Christ and this and that, right? But it goes back to that thing, just kind of not knowing how to kind of channel that energy. Well, everybody used to call um uh I kind of can't use the word, but everybody used to call them names, bro, like derogatory names, you know, um homosexual names or whatnot while he was growing up. And he was just like, Why are they doing that? Why are they calling me that, this and that? Um, and uh he went to the principal's office and they said, Hey dude, it's okay, dude, that you're uh blank that the principal, and he was just like, bro, I'm gonna smoke everybody in here. And um the next day he had or he went to church that weekend or something like that, and then he found Christ or whatnot. But people could get bottled up so much, bro, that it could manifest itself in negative ways to where they hurt people, dude. That's yeah, pretty much.
SPEAKER_02That's why you need an outlet. That's why you need an outlet. People need to people need to teach them. Like, even people need to even if it's not even your kid and they're going through some shit. We gotta we gotta let them know what's up, you know. There's I've had I've had a lot of conversations with younger guys about like expressing themselves and just like being themselves and like allowing themselves to like a space to grow and allowing themselves like to feel these feelings, like you know, depression and all that, and how to get by it.
SPEAKER_00It's like well, do you think, bro, that there's like this, and let me get your take on this too, X. Like, is there like a typerope that we're walking? Because our fathers, and especially theirs, obviously, you don't express your feelings or whatnot, you know, which is obviously a detriment to people. That's machismo as a whole Mexican, that's a Mexican thing, exactly, and that's that's who raised us, right? So you need to be able to do it, but now obviously there's an overflow of it to where it's like these kids can't deal with shit, they're all depressed, they all need something, you know what I'm saying? They are diagnosed with something, they're all whatever, they all need counseling, this and that. Not saying that there's not people that do have problems. I'm I I would sympathize with them 100%, and I know that they do, but it's overdiagnosed, man. And I don't think anybody can you know what I'm saying? So it's like that typerope that we walk, you know what I'm saying? It's like, hey man, you know, you gotta man up a little bit and quit being like the way that you're being, but at the same time, too, like, you know, but but at the same time too, be vulnerable and be able to express yourself and express your feelings.
SPEAKER_02There's definitely a difference between going through it and avoiding it. It's a great way to do it. What we're teaching people right now is to avoid it. Where you go to the doctor, you're sad, the president, here's a pill. Go feel better, here's a pill. We don't hear understand your feelings, go to a therapist, go see what you're doing, go talk about it, get a hobby, do that first, eat right, get eight hours of sleep. You know how much can change if you just slept eight hours a day? Yo, word up. If you slept correctly, if you just like, you know, you just didn't eat so much fast food. Oh man. You know, if you just drank water, you know what I mean? Like if you just took these basic things and instead of taking like a pill, and depression is real, people do have a chemical imbalance, but I think it's overprescribed. Like the doctors are just giving you pills, boom, boom, boom, here's pills. You're depressed, here's some pills, you're depressed. There's like there's no actual fix to it, dude. So one of the reasons. My opinion, but I know, but I know these things are real.
SPEAKER_00I know I know depression's real for a fact. I get it, I get it, definitely, man. And it's it's it's good to be able to have this type of dialogue as well, man, because once you start, dare I say questioning somebody, it's like you're being disrespectful. You know what I'm saying? And yeah, man, we're already to the point where it's like I tell Xavier the pendulum swings. You know what I'm saying? It swang so far this way, it's coming back. I was watching this dude, man. He was getting this kid, and this kid was just like spazzing out, bro, because he was getting wrecked in jujitsu. And um, the dude was like not letting them quit, not letting them whatever. And Xavier used to do this to me, bro. Xavier used to beat the shit out of me, right? Like with uh I used to have these boxing gloves, and like they were like the uh I was I was a little boy, bro. So Xavier, but I Xavier was probably like man, I don't know, nine or ten, and I was probably like four or five. And I would I would fight against Xavier and he'd he'd beat the shit out of me with this pillow, and I'd get so mad and frustrated, dude. But then he would let me come back and he would let me like it would bring the confidence in me, right? So I'm watching this dude do the thing at jujitsu with with the kid, and the kid's like, like, I can't do this and that, and he's crying, and then he's just like, come on, get up, get me this and that, and the kid starts getting them, bro. He starts getting them, and the kid, you could see the confidence in him, like he it's like it he's overcoming the adversity right then and there, live, dude. And it's like that's the stuff that makes you, bro. Going through hard practices, practices, going through uh tryouts, going through whatever, man. And I think it's stripped away from these kids. You bro, like the way that when when you're skating, and it was one of the things that I was out on. I'm not falling. Oh, you're falling all the time. I was like, I love it. You're gonna fall, you're gonna get hurt. I love I love skateboarding, and I have such a uh like an awe of it. I love it, dude. But no, I'm not getting on the board and I'm not crazy. They're crazy, bro. No, no.
SPEAKER_02Like some people even our age are still doing it, bro.
SPEAKER_00And it takes uh they're pretty good, it takes a level of dedication, man, to slam on the floor, bro, and keep on getting up, dude. You know what I'm saying? For the love of the game, for the love of the trick. Do you see those videos, bro? They're thrashers, yeah. The thrasher videos, and they're like the the tricks.
SPEAKER_02I still replay like a bunch of like the flip videos, like the Emerica birdhouse stuff. Like, I still play that stuff. When uh I'll be like working at my computer and I've got two screens, so I'll just throw up a skate video. When I'll be there and I'll be like, damn.
SPEAKER_00When I'll just do what I when I see a gnarly trick, dude, I send it to you, right? Yeah, I'm just all like, what? I was like, dude, like the kids, the way that they're doing it now. What's that one kid's name, bro? The one that's sponsored by Nike. He just took a rowdy hit, dude. Was it? It wasn't uh black black kid, uh taller dude, taller kid?
SPEAKER_02Nigel. Nigel. Oh, because he thought he fucking almost died.
SPEAKER_00Jesus.
SPEAKER_02He had a concussion, he broke, he's he fractured his skull, no, right?
SPEAKER_00I think he did it all, bro. Like, well, how many stairs is that? Probably like 20. I don't know what it was, dude. But he goes head first, dude. He's the man right now. He's like, he's like the Steph Curry right now. So am I right? That's how good he is right, dude. He's badass, bro. He's and he he goes down, and it's like as bad a fall as you could possibly do because he just goes head first and boom, man, just hits his head, breaks like I think he broke his head, broke his skull, like everything, dude. Like the gnarliest. Anyway, and I hear that he was like, I'll be back. Like, I'll be back, you know what I'm saying? So I'm just hopefully with a helmet. Right? Hopefully with a helmet. Okay, so tell me about your getting into cycling, and um so for to be doing it for this long, what was it that sparked in the beginning, like, oh, this is what I'm gonna do? Or were is it just kind of like you were zoning out, I guess? Was it just a uh a way to get away, I guess?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's just a way to relieve all the stress. I I remember I had I had really gotten like I just got tired of going to this gym. Like it seemed like I was just in a box. You go there, you do your fucking work out, go home, eat right, come back, go over home. It's like I was like, dude, I'm just in a I'm in a box. Like I don't like I don't like like um like fake lighting. Like I don't like light bulbs and stuff like that. I don't like being inside. Like it's not my thing. I like natural light. I like to be outside. Natural light, anywhere I gotta be, it's like natural light, windows gotta be open, stuff like that. So I'm just like, well, cycling was one of those things, and then it's like people are competitive as hell on cycling. Like I I've never even thought of that.
SPEAKER_00Fake lighting, like artificial lighting. You never I never thought of it, but my house has got a lot of natural light, and I always have my windows open, and I always have like there you go. I never thought of that.
SPEAKER_02That and obviously living in the environment you feel better in, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, especially too, man. Yeah, like I don't like it like real dark and gloomy. Like uh, you know what I'm saying? Um not at all, no. So was there any like uh friends that got you into it, or how is it that um you remember Esteban?
SPEAKER_02We we both started writing like at the same time, Mr.
SPEAKER_00C yeah. Oh, I was gonna ask about him too, man.
SPEAKER_02He's doing good. He's still doing he's in like a he's in like some uh bike, it's a bike company. They specialize in like communication while on the bike, so it has like a little thing like that. You just chit-chat with somebody has comps and stuff like that. What that's tough. It's pretty cool. So he's like he's like heading that. He's doing a really good job at it, by the way. Um, I'll try to get the brand for you so you go check him out. He's like in a he's gonna be in commercials and stuff like that. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, when people say it's like the older you get, like no, it's like the dude's like 37, 38, 39. He's in commercial, he's doing all this other stuff. It's pretty inspiring. It's like pretty cool. He's fit as fuck, and it's like it's crazy. It's like what he's doing with that.
SPEAKER_00So, what what uh what did you start liking about it that it was like, man, I just this is this is for me.
SPEAKER_02You can go, you can go fast, especially when you're racing. Like I you can go fast for a bike, let's put it that way. And then I just like turning and stuff like that, like hauling ass through turns and shit. You know how how I always like rode motorcycles growing up, had like had them all, and I hauled ass on them too. I was like, I was really good at it.
SPEAKER_00Was it you that let me take your bike?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I let Leo take it too. He crashed it too. I he he thinks I don't know. It wasn't it was either you or Leo that crashed one of them. No, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_00I took it at Alex's house, remember?
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. I was worried for you a little bit, bro.
SPEAKER_00Dude, speaking of how stupid I am, bro, you didn't even know how to ride a bike.
SPEAKER_02You just I was like, dude, just take it. You're like, yeah, let me do it. He took it out, and I was like, oh fuck. Bro, a lot of bad things can happen.
SPEAKER_01Is that the time where you said you got on the highway?
SPEAKER_00I got on the highway, bro. I went from Alex's house, which is O Piersaw, all the way down, bro, on the highway.
SPEAKER_01No, no helmet?
SPEAKER_02Helmet, no, I had a helmet on, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_00I wouldn't let it, I don't, I wouldn't let any friends ride my shit with it. I remember you were like, hey man, if you take it, you take it, bro. And you were just like, you're playing around with me and you're kind of like egging me on. And I was like, I was just like kind of being a pussy. I was just like, uh, I don't know. And you were like, hey man, like if you're like if you're gonna do it, do it. And if not, then you know, the type of thing. And I and and uh Alex was having a party at that time, and bro, I'm just what if you crashed it and then you did it on your own. I didn't tell him to do it, I said he was gonna do it, you could do it, dude. And you know what was funny too? I took off, right? I took off, and that's what Alex and Lloyd they fought.
SPEAKER_02Oh, in the back, yeah, that was funny too. Damn.
SPEAKER_00Oh bro, it was crazy times back then. Real bro, and I come back and they were like, oh man, this and that. I was just all like, what? And they were like, bro, like they were just talking shit to each other, and he was just all like, well, I mean it's boxing, yeah. He was just all like, and I think Lloyd told him, Well, shit, we could fight right now. And it wasn't, it was like, Well, fucking like this get down, and bro, I'm driving down the highway, you know, don't know, and I come back, currently, yeah, currently, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I'm on I'm on a lot of a lot of energy being spent in there.
SPEAKER_00And I must have been drinking. I mean, you know, there's no time that I wasn't.
SPEAKER_02Do you do you remember how it felt when you were on the motorcycle when you were riding, driving?
SPEAKER_00I remember, bro. I remember, I remember, you know what though? Honestly, I remember feeling in control of the bike. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? I remember feeling like, oh man, like this is badass. I remember just going like hauling ass. And I remember thinking, I'm gonna hit a hundred, bro. I'm I'm gonna hit a hundred. I was thinking, I'm I'm going to, just to say that I did. And I did. And and uh yeah, man, I took it on the highway, then I came back. Um man feels different, right?
SPEAKER_02Oh, bro, it's like people don't understand it. It's like when you're on a motorcycle, you're just like you're there, and it's like all the wind, everything, you're hauling ass, everything.
SPEAKER_01It's just like dude, you you had a ninja, right? Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02What did you have a Jigser or a I had a 750 CBR 1000, uh Yamaha R6, then then R Center double R. And had a Kawasaki. I had two, I had two Kawasaki's. And then was there another one? You and Frankie, right?
SPEAKER_01Mandyola?
SPEAKER_02Y'all ride y'all ride together a lot? Yeah. Fucking his exhaust was loud as fuck. I was so fucking annoyed.
SPEAKER_00But I tell them like, damn, that shit's fucking loud. I remember this one time y'all walked into a party, and uh, I think was it you or was it Frank? He had some bad road rash, and I was like, dude, what happened?
SPEAKER_02He was just like, Yeah, man, I laid down the bike and I was like it could have been either one of us because I I took some crashes too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I remember uh did I hadn't seen you in the city. Probably Frankie.
SPEAKER_02Probably Frankie.
SPEAKER_00I think it was Frankie dog because he was pretty fucked up. I remember this one time I had saw you too. I'll never forget this, man. I don't I know you don't even remember because it was so random. And I was just like, I was like, what's up, dog? I was like, how have you been? And we it was at a party and we hadn't seen each other, but I remember when we'd always party at Frankie's or uh it was it was one of those, and you were like, just good to be alive, man. And I was just like, Oh yeah, you go and you were like already on some hippie shit. I've been I've been on some hippie shit for a long time. No, bro. You have though and and and I was just like, What do you and you were like when you ride, bro? You just never know, dude. And I was just like, God damn, what the goddamn dog, what what do you sound like me, bro? Sounds like I remember you said that specifically. You're like, you just never know, bro. And I'm like, Word. I'm like, yeah, man, cool, like, whatever, bro. Yeah, let's have let's have a beer. Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_02Always on that chill stuff, bro.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's that's some crazy shit. So it it reminds you of being on a bike.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it does. It does.
SPEAKER_00You don't ride a bike anymore though, no?
SPEAKER_02Uh dude, I want to get another one. I'd I'd like to get another one. I'd like to get one too. I think San Antonio has too many shitty drivers. Like it it's just too crazy.
SPEAKER_00I want to keep one in the garage. Well, I want a bobber, you know? Yeah. So just more laid-back shit. Yeah, just chill, and I want to take it out like on a Sunday and just try and find open roads. Or maybe even kind of later on at night, just by myself. You know what I'm saying? But um, nah, I don't I wouldn't want to be in and out of traffic or going from place to place. Like, nah, hell no.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's crazy. People that commute. There's some commuters like from the south side, we'll come driving in driving in to work. Because we're right off there, like 90, 90 and probant is where we're at.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02There's always like two or three motorcycles for the last six months when I'm driving to work, going, I'm pretty sure they're going to work too. And it's always like the same people. I think it's like a red bike, a black one, and then uh, I know it's a common Harley too. It's like they're all coming from the south. I'm like, dude, these guys are the at first, I was like, that's tight, and then like next month they would still be riding. The next month they're riding. They're still going out now, like they're still on the highways, the same people from the same entrances, whatever. In the rain and shit. Dude, I don't know. I don't think I've seen them in the rain, but I've seen like the same hard the Harley dude's been in the rain. He's always in the rain. I'm just like, dude, you guys are wild driving to work. Unless it's not a long commute, maybe it's a 10-minute commute like mine. Mine's only 10 minutes, dude.
SPEAKER_00Back in the day, we didn't have like the those are badass, the electric bikes, dude. I was gonna exact exactly I knew that I was gonna tag, I was gonna tag you in there, bro.
SPEAKER_01Uh the the Seurons, man. Have you seen the Surrons?
SPEAKER_02The motorcycle?
SPEAKER_01Or like a bicycle? It's like a it's like a dirt bike.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, that's fun. That's fun.
SPEAKER_01It looks cool, bro. And they're like now they like outlawed them. I was gonna say, didn't somebody run from the cops with them? Like registration and everything on them now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because those can go anywhere, right? Well, it's the dirt bikes, bro. Have you ridden like a dirt bike? I think it was like a you like a two, even a 250 or like even like a 150cc, like, dude, they fucking rip, bro. That that you'll hit some fucking jumps and you'll go flying. Like, you don't even then the thing about it too is like as long as you're like giving it gas and as long as you know you're at least centrally straight, that thing's gonna carry you. It's just gonna keep going. It's not gonna like you're not gonna crash all crazy or anything like that, like you normally would. It's just all the suspension just absorbs everything, so you're just like one hauling ass, bro. It's fun, dude.
SPEAKER_01I always watch the there's this guy on a Suron. Um, and I always watch him on YouTube. I just like I'll watch like a whole 30 minutes of it, you know.
SPEAKER_02Just like cruising, he's what hauling ass.
SPEAKER_01He'll go wherever, and but he lives in New York. I mean, I'm sorry, not New York, um, California. So he's going through like the neighborhoods and stuff like that. Dude, it's cool though.
SPEAKER_02That's fun, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but they're like four G's, dude, for for the electric.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I guess that's another that I guess that's another debate of how you want to feel on the bike. I think like gasoline engines is always gonna be just number one, bro. You think so? Electric is really cool. Plug that shit in, whatever, do whatever you gotta do, go go rip it, whatever.
SPEAKER_00Well, I'm talking about like the commute, man. Shit. Imagine if we had that back in the day. Oh, that'd be fun. Man, we would make it to each other's houses, but we live kind of like it's it's a it's a it's a big neighborhood, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_02But if we had those be able to meet up anywhere, everything. It was just what it was, what was it? Bikes and skateboards. That's it. You either jump on a bike and you go somewhere or you skateboard that early, and it's like Or we had like one person with a car.
SPEAKER_00I remember Alex had a car, so we were all right.
SPEAKER_02Oh, everybody had a car. Yeah, exactly. That was our car. Everybody had one.
