Welcome back, Note Takers. This is Noah Aaron. And we are not running a brothel for some reality TV bullshit. This is a nanny agency. This is a nanny agency. Is that what the people down in the Bees are think we're doing?

Well, I I I will be working from home doing my actual job while I'm watching your kids, but you know, don't be worried. Don't be worried.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. Okay. So that that that's that's one of the at-home daycare.
SPEAKER_01Oh, like the one Portia's mama was running, allegedly. Ooh.
SPEAKER_00Fucking other husbands. Fucking other people's husband. I mean Shabia.
SPEAKER_01Porta inherited that whole trait from her mama. Oh my lord. Well, they say Shamia's mama was fucking on her husband's brother or something like that. So it's a lot of hoe accusations in Atlanta right now. But thankfully for us, we're in a beatha. That's why I'm wearing my little vacation shirt. If you're watching us on video, act like I'm on vacation. But I feel like if we were with some of them rich gays in a thropo, not thropple with the kid, we would definitely be hiring some nannies from TikTok.
SPEAKER_00Talking about their own show. Yeah. Well, that's that's the thing, is it's you know, with the show, we're you know, we're talking about million-dollar nannies, and these are a bunch of people that want to be influencers. But you know what? We're gonna pretend they're aspiring nannies.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I think Leah has done the job, and some of them, you know, have the experience, but I think a lot of them, you know, just like to talk and want to be on TV. And there came the perfect opportunity of million dollar nannies. And if you don't know, the show is exactly what it sounds like. We have a group of nannies visiting Abiza, Ibiza, if you will. You know, as traveling nannies trying to build up a clientele, establishing their agency. And we also got a cycling revolving door of guests, you know, and their kids, clients, if you will. And thus, as the show is born, are people gonna get jobs? The drama between all the nannies as we have the typical reality television trope of the cast living in a house together, you know, people are abroad, having some fun. So, you know, it's giving show, it's giving it's mostly giving show the actual agency. Like I wonder how much was um, you know, as veteran reality TV watchers, definitely not a production interference, but you know, very dramaful. I'm surprised the show isn't talked about more, deserved a little more press, in my opinion. Right.
SPEAKER_00Well, especially when um when the show opens with this narration talking about how the rich family is like, you know, uh d um being discreet as everything, privacy is everything, and how like they're they're like trying to get these high dollar clients and whatnot. I'm like, by going on reality TV and being a high profile nanny. Right.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's probably why we got the fame more clients that we did get on the show, because right. Oh yeah, these people are not serious. You know, we have people who were just, you know, probably influencers themselves, are promoting their businesses, are even people who are like, yay, new money, which I'm all about it, because fuck that old money bullshit. Like, y'all ain't work for shit. These people very at least they made their money.
SPEAKER_00I did cackle at how proud like the these bitches were of being new money. It was a little refreshing because you don't normally hear that. Right?
SPEAKER_01You know, you have you hear people being pretentious and shit. They're like, no, we made it. So I'm not gonna pay. Because usually old money bitches are asset rich anyway, and who wants your fucking dying manor? Sonia Morgan. That damn fucking park townhouse. But another shade on the city. You know, but we open with uh, you know, a stable cast, everyone's kind of moves in together, nobody comes late. Everyone's in their 20s, except Leah, who was 30, so pretty much there. But yeah, you know, mid to late, early to mid-late 20s. I think it ranges from 22 to 30, most of the main cast, primarily women. We do have two Manny's in the cast, one gay, one straight. And a mix of clients, but overall, we have you know, a strong cast, starting with our girl Leah, who was, you know, the leader, the one who, as most of these reality show pilots do, the one who kind of the cast, assemble everybody.
SPEAKER_00What the leader. Essentially, like what the premise is essentially this is her agency that she's starting because she is coming in as this, you know, high profile nanny who has worked with very rich, very famous clientele. Um, you know, they they won't let us forget that she's worked with the Kardashians. Uh which I I wonder as soon as she as soon as the whole you know dad thing started, um, immediately my thought was like, was it Scott to say? I wonder. But then we got more clarification later. But um, yeah, so she's like this high profile nanny. She's coming in, she's wanting to start her own agency, she's bringing everyone in and giving them this opportunity of, you know, that she's kind of assembled, you know, um her cast of hot influencer nannies.
SPEAKER_02Well, I mean But yeah, no, she's kind of in that line.
SPEAKER_01And she kind of comes in top, she comes in strong. And one thing I know about Leah is that I actually recognized her from a TikTok that she posted in 2023 that I didn't realize was her until afterwards. But if you are on TikTok as much as me, you may remember this bitch too. Texted a guy she hadn't talked to in eight years. Like, oh hey girl. Trying to just, you know, drum out conversation, I guess. Yeah. He texts back, like, um, who is this? She says Leah. She follows up with her last name and realizes she's blocked. So she venmos him a dollar. Like, why did you block me? So we unblocked her. He's like, Oh, I'm married. And she's like, Oh, okay. Okay, I guess. And he's like, You're a weirdo. She's like, Well, right back at you. And I'm like, Yeah, that that explains Leah. What's that?
SPEAKER_00That was her, a lot made sense. Well, they I had never seen that TikTok until you sent it to me today. I was like, uh, I was like, this bitch is really crazy, huh? Like I like I thought maybe it was just for the show, but then watching that I was like, oh hey, no, she's like actually crazy. But she's like fun crazy.
SPEAKER_01She's she's like a low time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But you know, she yeah, she kind of establishes herself as being built from the Kardashian Jenner Empire. And she kind of brings I mean, it's not really truly established how she knows everybody else, kind of just like not assembled these, you know, hoes, but there's loose connections in the cast. Yeah. We have Mitchell and Taylor who are dating.
SPEAKER_00I think, and she's got she kind of like makes it clear that like her and Sydney are like close friends coming into this. Um, yeah, yeah, like you said, it's kind of like a chain game where it's like like, oh yeah, I'm bringing this person who's my friend, but then they know this person and they know this person who knows this person.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so she brought in Sydney, who I think knew Liv, and they kind of all know each other.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then Jack knew Hannah from New York, which Hannah doesn't have experience nanning, just kind of on the show. And then Mitchell, who's known as the number one Manny in the Midwest, who he has very Utah vibes about him, but he's from Ohio, I guess. And then he comes here with his girlfriend Taylor, who's a fucking wreck. But she also has very minimal nanny experience. And looking at her little bio, she is a college cheerleader. Great. Yeah. No, Taylor Taylor was a damn hot master whole scene.
SPEAKER_00We'll get into it.
SPEAKER_01And then Tamaya doesn't really know anybody, but she know you you know how reality TV caster works. But Tamaya was my favorite, so or maybe she didn't know someone, but it didn't seem like it.
SPEAKER_00Not really. No, she kind of she kind of felt like a fish out of water throughout the season. It kind of she she kind of felt like our reactor, like she was reacting to all the shenanigans around her.
SPEAKER_01But she was based out of Arizona too, so maybe she knew of Sydney. I'm not sure to what degree, but that's possible.
SPEAKER_00Who knows? Um, but yeah, do we as far as like kind of getting into the cast members, do we want to start with, you know, our leader, our woman who has all the connections, Leah?
SPEAKER_01I mean, let's do it because she kind of starts off strong. The outfit in the room early on is that in the nanny world, it's a big no-no to be, you know, hunching on the clients or you know, having anything in your reputation of hooking up with a dad. And she kind of tells somebody, you know, off the cup, I'll flip it like as a joke. Oh, I haven't hooked up with a dad before.
SPEAKER_00That kind of sets the scene early on, which right. That's like literally like the very final thing we get in the premiere episode is like some like shady like camera up in the corner of the room footage of her telling Liv that she had sex with a dad before, then they just leave it at that. And and the thing is honestly, like once the context comes out in the future episodes, it becomes less and less salacious, in my opinion. But like initially, the way it was, I was like, because like I'm sitting here assuming that like this is like a married man, that she was like the mistress or whatever, like nanny term mistress or whatever. Like that's what I assumed right away.
SPEAKER_01Right, which she later does reveal it was like a guy that she knew as a friend. With the story itself, I don't know if I fully by, but the story goes that it was her friend who was a single dad. She was called in last minute just to watch the kid, and then afterwards one thing led to another.
SPEAKER_00Right. So basically it the way she describes it, it was basically like not even like an actual like family that she knew anymore, just a friend she was doing a favor, babysitting, and then they hooked up afterwards, which is not really as fun and crazy and salacious as the initial rumor would have you believe. Right, but it built a lot of tension.
SPEAKER_01They definitely let the audience believe that for a while. And I think Leah herself knew was like, you know what, let's lean into this for some TV. Right.
SPEAKER_00She seems like she's one to play ball, which I appreciate a bit about her. Right. Well, we kind of see as like the first half of the season progresses, we kind of see that being like one of the biggest driving storylines that is like it gradually spreads to the rest of the group because um Oh god, who did Liv tell first?
SPEAKER_02Didn't you tell stupid ass?
SPEAKER_00What? Didn't you tell Taylor stupid ass? I think it was Taylor because yeah, because like she told Taylor and then like I think Taylor let Mitchell know, and then like somehow it got back to Hannah, and she was like, Well, Jack's my best friend, so I have to tell Jack. Um and then Tate was dumbass. Uh, because she was mad at Leah, she just decides to go and tell uh the mom she's nanny for Nicola. Um, that, like, oh yeah, Leah had sex with the dad.
SPEAKER_01And then at one point they realize ever the only one that doesn't know is Tamaya, so they all walk over there to tell her. Yeah. I'd say, but it's like you literally must have been terrified to sit and be sitting there tanning, and the rest of the cast comes marching up to her. Right. She's she's like, uh, what is this? I would have been terrified. Can you imagine five, five of your coworkers marching in the line while you're trying to tan? I would have been like.
SPEAKER_00I think I would have been giving Karen Huger being like security. I like what when Giselle and Rob wanted to confront her to have that, I'm like, it's not happening.
SPEAKER_01I mean a very early Leah established that she has the roster of families. She knows people on the island, which I think she knows like three people, but still it's enough to make a show.

SPEAKER_01So she's kind of meeting the families, selling up interviews, matching people, but also assigning herself to roles. So we kind of meet the first family, the Gerbites, Camila and Tati, who are two over-the-top, you know, Miami Cubans, and that's all you need to know, really. There. But I feel very bougie.
SPEAKER_00They love being new money. So yeah. That that family, they they were they were difficult for me to to like, but they were also entertaining. Um, especially the grandmother. Towards the end, she's talking about she's toxic. Talk about her damn. Yeah. But I mean, the I mean the grandma, like, she was just like yelling at every scene, like she was doing a big brother diary room. Um she was really extra. She would like come in there like, oh, we're making TV. Yeah, no, they definitely wanted their own show.
SPEAKER_01It's definitely giving housewives cast off. I don't think she made the cut for Miami. So they found she found a camera over here and decided to have a time. Yeah. But Camila herself is not that interesting. It is Tati that is, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, and Camila, she comes, like, I don't know. Like, what's crazy to me is like how like willing she is to spend this entire experience coming off as like one of the most insecure women to ever exist. Because like, it's intense.
SPEAKER_01You know, right the way they're like, oh no, no pretty girls. They're dragging Sydney for showing up with some cleavage, which it really wasn't a lot of cleavage. It was a little low-cup tank, but the Tatas weren't out. So Sydney barely had like she she was like a modest little Model B cup. It wasn't like spilling out the tank time. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know? But like, yeah, just like she went on and on about like basically the concerns about like, oh, you can't have like beautiful women around your head.
SPEAKER_01Nail polish, yeah, right? Like just very insecure, like he like like he's cheated before.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Right. Well, I think and like that thing, and she like when like with Sydney, like, well, first of all, it was crazy that's like you, you hate you seem to hate this girl, but then you picked her as like your as the nanny you wanted so you could torture her or whatever. Uh, but like, yeah, she like was upset about her nail polish. You can't have red nail polish around my husband, you can't wear sexy clothes around my husband. So, like, she intentionally was giving her like the too big uniform, so like it would be extremely bad. Yeah. It was ridiculous. But the damn large. But I guess she's I guess she's fine looking bad on TV as long as she's on TV.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, they're a recurring plot line throughout. At least most of the families we established meeting in the beginning. You see a little bit of them throughout. Some, you know, tailor off because it is a vacation spot. But no, I thought it was gonna be giving below deck in the beginning, where we have like a new family every episode, and that's kind of the setup. But you know, they mix it up with us, which it's almost like having a cast of the you know families as well, which is a little interesting because you know, some of the kids are characters, some of the families themselves are characters, I think. We also have the three dads, Mark, Tom, and Mike, I think, which is a mess of a situation as well, the three gay dads, because there's one guy who left the other one where they had a kid, he has a new one, a new man's, and the other one won't seem to leave, still seeing being there wearing his ring, which is crazy.
SPEAKER_00The more we learned about that family, the more I was like, hmm. Uh yeah, there's a sort of thing going on. There was a point where there was a point where like they were like talking about that making everything, and I was like, damn, Candace Owens is gonna want this banned fast, whatever this is.
SPEAKER_01And then they had the they'd be in there little speed alls getting spray tanned by the mannies. It's like one thing.
SPEAKER_00I was like, why is part of the job interview that they have to like take their shirts off and do a swimming contest and then they have to like spray town spray tan y'all where y'all have stripped down?
SPEAKER_01I mean, the moment I saw them, I knew they were choosing the straight boy over the gay one, which they wanted a Manny specifically because you know they had a son and they had both the men audition, Mitchell and Jack. I just knew right away they were choosing Mitchell. I was like, oh, they're not choosing the gay one. Right, right. Um, poor Jack, but you know, I mean, they didn't leave it up to the kid who did the sign and seemed to feel bad, but they were always choosing Mitchell. Right.
SPEAKER_00They that that that's what they wanted, and that's fine.
SPEAKER_01I mean, yeah, which a lot of that what we see in these is kind of like they're choosing who they kind of vibe with, which is kind of how you really hire an name. Like what's gonna really come down to? I have the disqualifications, but also they want to be on a show, so right. I'm personally, if I wasn't, I'm not choosing like a 20, 30 year old. I want like like a 50, 60 year old Jamaican woman, personally.
SPEAKER_00Right. Yeah, no, I I want I want something like Super Nanny, or I want one of them on Nanny 911.
SPEAKER_01But in a pinch, I would take Tamai Yarjack in a pinch. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I I I I I can I can receive that. Um my thing is for me, I definitely if I'm hiring a nanny, I'm not hiring no damn influencers. I'm not hiring no one that wants to be on a damn reality TV show.

SPEAKER_00What if it means you have to promote your weak ass rental properties? Oh Lord. Yeah, no. If I it I personally I would not be engaging with them if it were me, if I if I if I was someone with children.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't know. Maybe I'm just like, you know, I would why why someone in their 20s? I just feel like there's some experience options. But I mean, some of them, that's what they wanted. Like they want someone for their girls to look up to or like to vibe with almost like a friend, which we see with Nicola, who is a baddie herself, kind of blonde influencer, mommy, definitely, you know, mom fluencer, girl boss vibes. Yeah. Not really quite sure what she does, but has fun British twins. And yeah, she said herself, I want someone who matches my aesthetic. I want someone my girls to look up to. I am specifically said, I want someone in shape. So she said, no fat bitches on that.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's why I thought it was funny. Was like when they would show some of the rules and the contracts for some of the family. Like some of the rules were crazy. I was like, you have to match the aesthetic, you have to do this.
SPEAKER_01Or Brigan was like, Oh, you have to match her aura and energy. I was like, oh.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was like, what does that mean?
SPEAKER_01But Breakan's kids were very well behaved, so I don't I don't think she wanted some of the messy bitches fucking that up. Right. Well, she she didn't want to. I don't know what the fuck they should have.
SPEAKER_00That's yeah, she she she did not want Leah around her kids. I know that man. Um Breegan might have she she might have been my favorite like parent of the whole season because she was just Yeah, I I wanted more of Breegan. She she was like, but when she showed up, she was funny and she was messy. I'd say when at that at that party when she um when her and Leah were talking and they were talking about secrets, and Bray was like, Oh, well, I might, or Breegan was like, I might know your secret. And then she like she like walked off smirky. I was like, you know what? Looking right at the camera.
SPEAKER_01Brigan was always trying to say something cryptic. Because earlier on she was even told to my like, oh, the island will tell you secrets for you. Yeah, yeah. But she was like, I want to make it the trailer with that. What's she did?
SPEAKER_00That's what I definitely made into the coming up next week. I think she was literally like, she was giving me like a white lotus character. Maybe that's what she thought she was on. Maybe that's what she thought she was on. I think it was giving like she's gonna win an Emmy for the White Lotus.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I don't know what she was trying to hit that, but she kind of just disappears. So I think she was just on vacation. That's the thing, it's not very established that like, you know, obviously we know it's a vacation spot, but it'll just randomly come up like, oh, this family's leaving. They but they want to move me to LA. Or this family's leaving, but they want me to come to Paris. Yeah. So, you know, not a lot of consistency in terms of the families, but you know, it adds on some tension. It makes it feel real because it's not like the same formula shit every week, you know? Right, right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I mean I think it I think it does a good job to be interesting. I think at the end of the day, I mean, like, the families are part of it, but I feel like at the end of the day, like we're here to watch these, like, these messy ass influencer nannies fight.
SPEAKER_01Right. Although watching them do their job was interesting, I would say it's like five percent of the show. Yeah. Most of the shows them talking about, I want a job. Yeah. Well, speaking of people that won't be like, It's like baddies. It's a you know, they talk about getting to the bag, but where's the bag at?
SPEAKER_00Where's the bad guy? Where's the bag at, nigga? Where's the bag at? Well, and that and then they start fighting or doing some stupid shit. I'm like, how does this help us get to the bag? Um But yeah.
SPEAKER_01Leah's trying to be Natalie, but they want to overthrow her ass. Right. Honestly, if you look at the show like a version of baddies, I think you understand a little bit more.
SPEAKER_00Well, like, what confused me with that whole thing with Leah is I was I was like, how y'all gonna, how y'all gonna like oust her and appoint a new leader when this is like her business? Like she's the owner of this business. Right.
SPEAKER_01That's when I was like, is this giving show or just giving business? Right.
SPEAKER_00It's like how you gonna, how you gonna appoint Jack as the leader?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. At some point, they're over Leah's leadership because of the secret of getting out. Yeah. So the Gurga Tays actually fire her as a result. There's a lot of a couple firings go on. Yeah, Leah got fired by the Gurga Tay because she fucking that lady husband fucked that like that husband. That husband, fuck that man. He was nobody's husband that we know of. You're no one's mama. So then they they fire her because they're insecure and they they they're probably doing what the Purdue tells them to do.
SPEAKER_00That was crazy though when Sydney called um Miss G the next day and was like, you know, have you thought about it? And she's like, she she's lucky I didn't hit her. It's like, whoa. I was like, whoa. I don't know, I heard I saw that on like the previews. I was like, what happens if this happens?

SPEAKER_00It just agred me immensely. Because like she was talking about how she betrayed her trust and this, it's like, ma'am, like her fucking that man, however long ago, that had nothing to do with you. And also, like she came to you and told you about it willingly so that you wouldn't hear it elsewhere. Like her re I mean, I I understand maybe even like, oh, I'm second question, I'm like second guessing your character and I don't want you around my kids. Like I get that, but she seemed to take it so personally, Miss G did.
SPEAKER_01Right, which leads me to believe that man has cheated already. Because even he said was like, oh, are they gonna think I slept with her? It's like I don't think anyone's jumping to that conclusion, but I don't know. If they talked on the island, I mean Brigan might spill it.
SPEAKER_00She seemed like she got some manga over there. Well, and then well, and then like when Sydney was gonna come back and bring some other, she said, bring a gay guy.
SPEAKER_01Which got Jack a job, which got Jack a job. So he was like, I'll take it. Right. It got his ass to Paris too, because the Gergotes did not get up jetting off to Paris. Which I'm not mad at them for going to Paris, because I'm not gonna be on a reality show and not go to Paris, so people can call me a broke ass LC from the hells.
SPEAKER_00Right. Yeah, no, I mean, like, I mean, I thought that, and that's a thing where because like there were times throughout the season where I felt bad for Leah, especially with like the the the rumor going around and getting out and like things happening and people kind of turning against her. Like I felt bad for her. But at the same time, you know, she kind of like brought this on and presented it as like, oh, this is like a great opportunity for you guys to kind of expand out and get more opportunities. But she seemed so bothered when when people got opportunities. Wanted to block people's opportunities and stuff. Like, well, they're here to get opportunities. Yeah. It's like when people would get opportunities to like elevate and do other things, like she seemed to take it as such a betrayal.

SPEAKER_01Which after the Gurkha Tase fired her, she didn't want everyone to be like, fuck them, but you know, that's not realistic. And they barely had clients coming in as is. Right. Which Leah was trying her best, which is why they probably should have kept her as the leader, not Jack, who admittedly seems comes across smart. He went to NYU, but fresh college grad doesn't really know what he's doing. I don't know how established he is as a nanny, but doesn't seem to have connections. And I agree with Leah that some of their ideas were dumb. They want to go to the little place and try to bombard families. I mean, I guess I got them some clients, but I don't know.
SPEAKER_00It just seems like I mean, like this seems like the type of industry where you have to have those connections or you're not getting anywhere. Right.
SPEAKER_01Especially with these kind of families or these kind of fame whores who want to put themselves on TV for a little moment.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's the thing, is it's funny because like at the in at the very beginning of the first episode, when they're kind of like giving us like the premise and whatnot, they say like these top 1% families and stuff. It's like, y'all ain't getting no damn top 1% families because those families would never do reality TV.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, it's given more like housewives level of rent. Like, you know, some new money, people who are some internet famous, like digital entrepreneurs, you know? Right. Which I'm not mad at because I think all of them were interesting, and I'm like, oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, it's just I think it's like the same thing where people like with housewives are like, well, why can't we get like the real like rich people? And why can't we get these people with all this wealth and with all these crazy cool connections? Like, because those people aren't doing reality TV. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And a lot of them are probably boring as hell anyway.
SPEAKER_00Right. A lot of them wouldn't be interesting anyway. And then even if they were, like, like I said, they they're not gonna go on reality TV and spill their tea. They don't have to.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00This is way more interesting anyway. Same thing here. I thought there were too many pairs of twins on this show, but it's probably because of all these IVF babies and stuff. I would go say that, but I guess it probably the statistically is. Well, I think, yeah, no, because I think I I mean a lot of times when people go and do these fertility things and stuff, I mean there is a high chance that you might have multiples. Um but you you you know I'm I'm always coming on here talking about Jurassic Park babies. And you know, we we haven't we haven't gotten cancelled yet for it. So Well, what about if we have some, Noah? What about our twins?
SPEAKER_01Oh, and now now we're having twins. Well, we're definitely not hiring none of these people. Well, maybe Tamaya.
SPEAKER_00You know, she she she can she can babysit on like on on like an on like a you know a night out for like dinner where it's gonna be a few hours. Not overnight, not overnight. Not overnight now.

SPEAKER_01And then goes to just to talk to Mitchell on the beach because Mitchell and Liv are working together for the gank family. And Jason then say he's gonna cheat on her with Liv. Right? Which Taylor is apparently let him tell it, that's the only woman he's been with. So I don't know why she feels it's insecure. It don't even seem like Liv type. Liv don't even seem like she's going for that. Right, no, Liv could care less. Liv couldn't care less. Like Liv is not insecure. Taylor just, you know, you know, violent insecure. So she does this. Nicola comes back, sees this shit, is like, uh, yeah. Goes up to the beach, cusses her out, fires her.
SPEAKER_00I know. I I watched that that scene sat me because like Nicola comes out and she's like, oh, we're gonna have a word. And like she kind of like takes her like a few feet. Like, first of all, they can still hear you. Like, y'all didn't go that far. Like, like whoever anyone nearby can still hear you. And then she's like, Are you fucking serious? What oh the fuck do you think this is? The the talk she gave to her made me nervous.
SPEAKER_01I was like, oh, I feel like I'm gonna be like, has five minutes about her business, handles her shit. She's this is like, are you fucking stupid? Like, what do you think that's girl?
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, and it's like, and the thing is, I would have fired her too, because like the thing is it's like it's I mean, obviously, um Well that girl is just um well another thing, and it's like obviously she left her with someone fine and trustworthy. Like it wasn't a it wasn't that wasn't the issue. It's just like, but like you left my kid with somebody that I didn't hire, that I didn't say you could.
SPEAKER_01Um party planner, essentially, because that's what she was hired for at them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it's like and not and like the thing is like not only did you like leave my kid with this person, but you left my kid with this person so you could go fucking talk to your boyfriend. Right. That's ridiculous. For what?
SPEAKER_01Over nothing. Yeah. No heads up, no communication. But she got fired, but she does beg for her job back and cry for it and get to back, which Taylor for an eight-episode show show, I think Taylor cried five of the eight episodes. Yeah, she cried a lot. I mean, she cried then, she cried. She cried when she started a shit with Tamaya because she went and said that oh Hannah because apparently Tamiya said that Hannah's a little rude, which Hannah was a little vulgar at the moment. Yeah. But that she mixed it up and said she called you a bit with what she did not say.
SPEAKER_00Well, of course, we got a reality TV staple of Taylor, um, Taylor bringing up a conversation that apparently happened off camera. Yeah. Um it's like, oh okay, so you and you and Tamaya were talking about this just so happened to be in a moment where there were no cameras on you. Okay. You all y'all were mic'd.
SPEAKER_01Now you want to twist the story.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't think and she already got fired, did all this shit. Yeah, and she threw all this shit out there. Um, and then yeah, like you said, she started crying. It's like, why are you crying? Well, it's the same thing with like um after she fucking told Nicola about um Leah and her whole situation, then Nicola spreads it around and everything. And then like after it all blows up, she wants to cry, and Leah's like sitting there with her wine, like I should be the fucking one crying.
SPEAKER_01I don't Taylor would make a bunch of bass and cry about it and people try to fix it. I'm just like, Mitchell, why are you wake up with her? Like, go chase your dreams, get a job. And he gets offered a job by the gay dads to come move out to LA. Yeah, he doesn't want to take it because of this dumb girl. And I'm just like, for what? And it's funny that Nicholas had about conversation, like, this man isn't right for you. And I'm just like, yes, but also she's not right for him. Right because Mitchell has critical thinking skills and Taylor does not. Right. Well, Taylor could probably be like an NFL wife or something if she wanted to, but yeah, they just seem like a terribly matched couple. Yeah, I'm just like, for what? And then that girl is just not bright. Yeah. I'm just like, I wouldn't even trust her with like I'd just be scared for my kids. My kids will be watching her.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah, no, I just, yeah. She um Leah several times considered sending her home. I'm like, you probably should have just sent her home. Probably should have. This they could have done some replacements like Bad Girls Club, got super nanny up. Well, honestly, we had enough Catherine was going on. Like, they could have sent her home and not replaced her. It would have been fine. Like, we sent her.
SPEAKER_01Because Hannah ain't worked the whole time. Hannah ain't giving a job the whole time.
SPEAKER_00I know. That's that became a real point of contention was Hannah kept bringing up, like, I'm not getting any fucking jobs.
SPEAKER_01Right. She had to call home for money. That was her one story. Like I call home for money.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And reacting to things with Jack. That she was Jack's fucking plus one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I felt I felt bad like throughout the that like was something that got brought up with like some people were getting less opportunities than others, and I was like, Oh, I feel bad. Right. No, it was hard.
SPEAKER_01But because Leah was always throwing herself into jobs or like doing preferential treatment to her friends, with uh which were like Liv and um Sydney, who she knew. So they were kind of set them up and kind of put them in a good light. So you know, it was harder. I guess with Brigan, who eventually came, who you liked, yeah, she and her two kids, she did hire on two, so Jack and um Tamaya to get their moment then. Yeah. I can't really recall anyone explicitly hiring Hannah. Which at the end, after they go through this power struggle, that you know, the families are coming kind of coming in a little bit less. And they kind of introduce a few, like two, three families in the first two episodes. So you're kind of like, oh, yeah, you know, there'll be a nice little revolving door. There kind of like thins out. It's like, yeah. Yeah. Is the agency in trouble? So it does build tension in terms of the storyline, but yeah. And then those later episodes it was more giving drama. It was not it was giving like, oh, too many families don't want to really do this anymore. But we have to f we have to finish the show.
SPEAKER_00Right. That's the thing. It's just like as the season progressed, it became very much less and less and less about the nannying aspect. And that already wasn't really the big draw in the first place.
SPEAKER_01No, which I guess you can't really just have these people walking somebody's kid. It's probably not gonna be that entertaining of a show, but some of the kids had their moments. Like I love the gay dads, their little daughter. She was not with the kids' menu or boozy ass.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I loved, I loved her talking about she likes caviar, she likes diamonds, she she likes uh mocktails.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00That queen. I love that it was in the contract that like you must you must be able to make cock or mocktails.
SPEAKER_01Right, because that kid wasn't gonna give it up. Right. Don't give her no lemonade and try to spice it up.

SPEAKER_00I'd figure it out. I know I felt bad though when um because what was um I think Mitchell was talking to her the the brother in that family. Um and he was talking about his sister, and he was like, Well she said she said I'm average or something. I'm damn.
SPEAKER_01He was like, No, you're exceptional. Yeah, I was and her words, so I'm sure she I'm sure she did say that shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Say it back. I'm like, call her an A.
SPEAKER_00She she seems like she might be a mean sister.
SPEAKER_01You know, maybe he's a little developmentally, you know, ahead right now. Yeah. But I'm sure he's gonna catch up.
SPEAKER_00Right, right, right, he'll he'll get up together. Hopefully his palate catches up. Right, he he he was not he was not on her level as far as the food went. Um But speaking of Mitchell, he was kind of I mean, he was kind of dull to me throughout this. I mean, all I will say is he did seem to be like one of the better ones with the kids, and he seemed to like I could actually I was like, okay, he seems like because some of them I was like this is like his calling, you know? Yeah, because there were some of them where I was like, y'all are not fucking nannies, but like with the thing, he might actually be a nanny.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no. I think he has he's like legitimately about it. Obviously, Leah has done it. I think she's passionate about it. Yeah. I think Tamaya's passionate about it. She seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. And she's pursuing a master's degree in child development, which Data mentioned on the show, but it's in her bio. I also think Sydney, I don't know. I think Sydney likes it and she enjoys being with the kids, but if she could also be someone's like trophy wife or something, I think she would do that too, you know? Right. I feel like also I feel like Liv likes it too. I feel like Liv likes it. She's good at it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Although, although Liv was crazy in that, and that one episode talked to the to the gay dad's kids about her. She's like, Yeah, I lived like you until my parents got divorced.
SPEAKER_02And even Mitchell was like, whoa.
SPEAKER_00Mitchell, like I was like, I'm I'm gonna need to have you like go to the side real quick with me for a word. He was like, you know what I mean? That's a little inappropriate. Yeah, I was like, Liv was gonna say it. Liv was just gonna say it. I was like, Liv, what the fuck? But yeah, Sydney to me, she seems like like I've like she seems like she likes this, but also it feels like it's just something maybe temporary until something else comes along, or like obviously this is gonna maybe like bet more so like launch her as maybe more more of like a profitable influencer or something like that.
SPEAKER_01That's true. But I mean she seemed to have, at least according to the show, she took the full-time job with the Garbates. Yeah. So yeah. Maybe that's what she'd do. But she definitely seems like, you know, onto the next. Maybe I'll marry a millionaire, maybe I'll be on another show. Like I thought she was always destined to probably be on someone's reality show, you know?
SPEAKER_00Right. Gorgeous. I mean, she's got the personality, she's beautiful, and she kind of has that attitude. Like they even start from the first episode where it's like, you know, she's she's not gonna be pushed around.
SPEAKER_01You know, she's definitely like a lot of these girls are very like, which maybe is good for Nanny. You got some authoritarianism, but you know, I feel like Hannah, Tamaya, Sydney, and Liv all are kind of and even Leah, because we're gonna say it. They're all girls I wouldn't want to argue with. Like, yeah. So I think the casting was good, but maybe too many Spitfires in one shot.
SPEAKER_00Right. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_01I felt like I was like, we need I was like, we need a little Cynthia Bailey that kind of like keep everyone together. Right, yeah. She made all these girls cry. So I don't know.
SPEAKER_00The thing is though, like I think you were saying it before we recorded, like, she did it without really trying.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, like they were just do you like to was like, no, I'm not just gonna be sensitive about this. Well, that's that's they would always leave a conversation with her crying. I'm like, she wasn't in the wrong though. Right. Although telling that girl she wasn't right with God was a little mean, Tamaya. Sis, I'm gonna have to say that one. But at that point, I felt like she was just fed up with the bullshit. She she was, she was, and she and like every time she had to stand her ground, another white girl go cry. And I would I would have left the show.
SPEAKER_00I would have left the show. Nachi, like, oh, I know exactly what this is gonna look like in the editing room. Well, that that's um that's like um on drag race. Let's see Sim with it. It was season nine when um when the vixen and Aquaria started were arguing and Aquaria started crying, and the vixen was like, Don't don't was like, don't do that because now it's gonna be now it's gonna be I made this white bitch cry.
SPEAKER_01I feel like if Tomia said that, someone would have cackled. I feel like Leah would have cackled. Leah would have clacked. Well, she wouldn't have said that, she wouldn't have said that. Yeah. Uh the rest of them crying was kind of like a one-off due to the frustration. I'm sure the show got to them a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Taylor and Taylor stay crying on that damn show. Well, that's what I'm saying. I'll allow, like when you're doing RT, because I'm sure it's stressful, I'm sure it's a lot. I'll allow like one or two crying sessions on camera a season. But yeah, if you're crying more than that, if you're like if you're like Taylor and you cried in more episodes than you didn't, that's gonna piss me off.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And that's why she's definitely my least favorite. You know, going on to the second half of the season, we have the coup d'etat, the coup d'etac, if you will. Jack, you know, manages to take control of the agency. And they do this little mixing event where they go out for breath and try to find clients with they find some very fine soccer players. Yeah. And his wife and has a very young, like a three-month-old. I'm like, Y'all trust these random people with a three-month-old. Right, right. Like a five-year-old man's like, okay, whatever. But I was like, that baby looked fresh. I was a little concerned, but that's just me. That's a fresh one. And then we also get this this man who I assume is Jamaican, but I don't know. He he was giving Jamaican to me. And his white wife, who was a she was messy, the Vinardi family. She was a piece of work.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, some some of the families that came in later was like, oh yeah, okay, we're we're we're really getting into the mess, huh? Right. Yup came from the money.
SPEAKER_01Like, she was, I guess you're supposed to represent like a typical, you know, maybe overprotective kind of you know, nanny mom to deal with, which probably could have came earlier in the season to indicate the different personalities they deal with. But her big thing was about like the nail polish and like, you know, she was putting nail polish on her from her bag. She's like, you took that moment away from me. That was supposed to be our moment, which is like kind of like what.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, also understandable, but also just kind of like whoa. You should have set the ground rules and the work to begin with. Yeah. And also, like, probably a lot of those things happen. Probably a lot of manies like ignore it, act like it doesn't happen. But nail polish is like, I don't know. Right. Well, over the top to me.
SPEAKER_00Well, you could kind of like, you could kind of parallel it with earlier in the season when like Mitchell was teaching um one of the the thruple dads, uh, their son how to tie his shoes. And the dad, instead of being angry about it, was like, took that as like a good sign of like, oh, okay, he's like, he really cares about these kids and you know, he's serious. Right.
SPEAKER_01She tried to occupy her time because the that little girl was turning up. She was running all over, she ran from the park across across the city line. I was like, uh oh.
SPEAKER_00Liv was Well, and my and my thing is, and it's like no offense, like because like I'm I'm saying people can do what they want. Like if people want to be like stay-at-home parents, they can't. If people want to be, I mean, obviously some people don't have that choice, but in this situation where like if you are that rich and if you care that much about like sharing all these moments with your kids, then be a fucking, then be a full-time stay-at-home mom or dad or whatever. Um like clearly y'all could always she can't have it both, she can't have it all. Well, no, because it's like you can't you can't hire a nanny and like drop your kids off with a nanny and then um be upset that that like the nanny was there to witness milestones that you missed out on, you know. That was your choice. And the thing is, is like most people the thing is most people don't get a choice because most people miss out on their kids' milestones because they have to work. Like it's not it's not an option. But when you're that rich and you're like married that well, like you have a choice. Maybe she's the breadwinner now. Well, maybe he's scammed.
SPEAKER_01Well, then maybe his ass should be at home kids. Maybe they both got rental properties to pedal, you know, the pedal. We don't know. But no, I see what you mean. Maybe less, you know, flippantly than that or less shady than that. But I think she was a little over the top and emotional in it. Even when they wanted to have that follow-up conversation, the even the husband was like, be nice. But then I go to that lady's Instagram and she posted this whole nice thing. We love to live working with her on the show, watch the show. I'm just like, what? It didn't seem like it. Right? That's what I was like, I was like, oh, that's dooming. Well, that's for the TV. What was y'all doing? Which it might have been. I'm just troubled by the similar same team as Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and we know that they are a little heavy-handed in the production style sometimes. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00No, I agree. It definitely, there were definitely times where it felt very similar production-wise to that show, which I make sense. Like this is like how Hulu's doing their messy like originals and stuff. Like Hulu's in their very like trashy reality TV bags. Now we got nanny talk. I know. I know it was it took a while before the the term nanny talk got used in the show, but when it did, I was like, oh, there it is.
SPEAKER_01Right. I guess they would try to go away from it, but not. You know, a lot of the shows I liked it, but a lot of their flaws capable, like not knowing what they wanted to be, or yeah, maybe not knowing what the situation on the ground would be. If I had to guess, they probably thought they'd have a lot more willing clients or people to flip with when they got there. Maybe they did it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I could see that now. I could see maybe like, yeah, no, I could see that because that's what it seemed like to me. Like you said, like at the end, like some of these families they were bringing at the end, it very much felt like they were just taking what they could get and like kind of sending these people in with production notes and just being like, shake the shit up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and see what could happen. Yeah. And you maybe also later understand that people maybe weren't there the whole time, maybe a few weeks, overlapping school schedules, like, you know. There's a lot of inconsistencies. Maybe Abitha was a wild first filming location, but I think the show has potential to scale, you know, do season two in another location, mix up the cast a little bit. Yeah. I I wouldn't mind watching the, you know, Martha's Vineyard, maybe more international locales. Or like a little LAC so that they go travel again.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, I'd be into something.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I would be interested. I just I think though that they definitely need to, if they're gonna continue, they need to promote this show better. Because um, like you mentioned, like there's not really that much time. Like when you talk about, like when you compare it to like the level of like social media engagement and stuff that like Secret Lives of Mormon Wives gets and the level of push there is for Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. This this is like significantly less. So um, yeah, and because like I had no idea what this show was until you told until you told me about it, suggested that we and I had no idea to my homegirl Cheyenne texted me, she was watching it.
SPEAKER_01I looked it up, I was like, wait, this is up our alley. Right. And even then, they're doing that weird thing where they like released the whole show on streaming, but then they'll air it episodically on like a network, but I don't know why freeform is what they chose, but yeah, what some weirdness there.
SPEAKER_00And that confused me because I remember like when I was watch like trying to watch and everything, like I was seeing like on Google, it was saying, like, oh, this episode's attention. Like, it seemed like it was still airing, which I guess it is. So I was like, oh wait, what episodes are we covering? But then we were like, oh no, like all the episodes are available on streaming. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Which, you know, I like that they had the Hulu Disney Plus. You could kind of watch it wherever you wanted, but you know, I thought they could have tapped in more. Obviously, they're competing against Love Island, Big Brothers from Junkernauts, but you know, Hulu has their Riotality fandom, you know. Yeah. Maybe they they they only had so much marketing dollars, maybe, but I mean, we're talking about it. I enjoyed it. I would yeah, I'd interview anyone on the show, but preferably Tamaya, but Arleah. I'd even take a I think Liv would be a good interview.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, no, I think everyone except for Taylor and Mitchell would be a good interview. Right?
SPEAKER_01I mean, I I if I don't want to speak on it because I don't I didn't look up if they were still together because I don't want to be rude about if they were still together, but the show does end with them getting engaged, which I was kind of like, Oh, okay, yeah, yeah. So it's just like like were we supposed to be rooting for that? Were we supposed to like was that supposed to be something like I mean editors? Did you want did you think we were supposed to be thrilled for that?
SPEAKER_00Because I wasn't. I think I was I was sitting there like, boo, tomato, tomato. So I mean I was not rooting for her to get the rose.
SPEAKER_01Um, but are they gonna make it down the aisle? I don't know. I think he she he gonna ruin she gonna ruin whatever career he got. She's gonna ruin she Taylor, go be an MLB wife.

SPEAKER_01I mean, I wouldn't hire anybody, but I definitely well if you had to say you were in a visa, you and your partner, you know, last minute thing came up, you need three hours. Who you call in? Leah call Leah's like, oh girl, I got some people for you. Oh god. Well, first of all, I'd I I first of all I'd tell you. Would you ask any questions first? Like, what would be your requirements? So you didn't know the cast. Like, what are you what are you putting in? I would tell Leah. I don't have to ask, do you have any black people? And she's gonna be like, Well, okay.
SPEAKER_00We got one. We got one, just like the network said. Um well, first of all, I first of all, I'd be telling her, I'm like, those cameras aren't coming in my fucking house, first of all.
SPEAKER_01Um that's how you got the free that's how you got the free child care. Well, I'll I'll pay for it. I'll pay, I'll pay y'all. Don't bring those cameras in my fucking house. Yeah, that's another thing. Like, the show never really mentioned like payment and splits. If you remember we we watched Selling Tampa, did we watch selling Tampa? I don't think I made you watch that. Uh I didn't watch Selling Tampa. Oh, no, I made you watch the other show where Evelyn was Lozada was being rude with the people in Florida.

SPEAKER_01But Selling Tampa was essentially the same show, but they were pretending to be a real estate company. But on that show, they would talk about the splits. Like, oh, Evelyn got X percent of a house, the rest of the girls got X percent. Because you know, she was like the leader in that situation. Which we never really told that brought up this time. Right. I thought it would get brought up somehow, but I don't know if it was just like the show paying them or but I wish they broke the fourth wall a little bit around that, because that could have been interesting.
SPEAKER_00Like from the city. Well, especially because they talk so several of them talk so much about how, like, you know, I gave up other opportunities to make money to come here and I want to make money. Um especially Jack.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I guess, I mean, 23, you can go on reality. You can always go get a corporate job, but to go be a nanny. I guess he was in a visa living it up. Right. He was having a good old time. But I like Jack. A lot of the things he said, I'd be like, yeah, that's how I'd probably react. Like Tamaya and Jack, a lot of things they were saying, I was like, yeah, which makes sense because you know the gay cast might have been the black cast member. But a lot of times I was there, I'm just like, why were you here? He seems like somebody that was wouldn't be there.

SPEAKER_01Disney World, Disney wouldn't allow that shit to film. Because it's on Disney Plus, but I thought a Disney nanny show would be interesting, but they would not show them bitches getting drunk back at the house. Right. Doing all this stuff.
SPEAKER_00They definitely would be talking about who they fucked and who they didn't fuck. Well, what's that? You know, and that's another thing that sat me is like whenever they would be at like parties or events on the island and stuff like that, um, because they would talk so much about like portraying a certain reputation and everything. They would never do it. Yeah, like whenever they were at these parties, they were drinking at the like the F word was come like every other working out of their mouth was the F-word, like at some of the events for staff, like they'd be there like as guests, like at tables.
SPEAKER_01So like it's like, are the lines blurred? Are we just filming a show? Yeah, and it never felt very all in or serious with like the I think part of why the show maybe failed. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if it got stuck here as season, you know, a one season wonder, but yeah. I I would watch the second season. I would watch the second season.
