Good morning, Berthaid, and happy Thursday. Welcome back to your Morning Birthda Brief. As always, I'm your host, Trent Bootish. Let's get into it. If you haven't tried Bee Sweet Cupcakes, you haven't lived. Dana and Sue Brongart, a mother-daughter team from Birthed, are celebrating 15 years of business next month. The baking duo will be moving locations, so make sure to read their story in the papers so you can get some delicious cupcakes. The surveyor's latest issue is out now and circulating. If you don't currently subscribe, make sure to contact the surveyor office or subscribe online for just 88 cents. Become a member of the Founders Club today. Looking for a way to support a great cause while maybe meeting your new best friend? Mead's Wolf and Willow Puppy Rescue has helped find loving forever homes for about 150 puppies since opening in 2024. Founder Dana Buglack and her team care for abandoned and abused medically fragile dogs, giving them a second chance through a network of dedicated foster families and community support. You can help make a difference at the Pints for Pups Adoption Fundraiser on July 25th at Highland Lake Brewery in Mead. Enjoy craft beer, food, music, games, raffles, and of course, adorable puppies looking for their forever homes. Whether you're ready to adopt, interested in fostering, or simply want to support the rescue's mission, it's a fun event for the whole family and a chance to help dogs in need. Now it's time for your Colorado fun fact. Did you know Colorado is home to one of North America's most remarkable natural landmarks? The Continental Divide cuts through the state, creating the boundary that determines where rain and snow melt will travel. Water flowing west of the divide will make its way to the Pacific Ocean while water flowing east eventually reaches the Atlantic Ocean. It's one of Colorado's most fascinating geographic features and a must-see for outdoor enthusiasts and road trippers alike. Well, everybody, that's all for your Thursday morning brief. This has been Trent Budish signing off. Have a great day, Bertha, and we'll talk to y'all tomorrow.
