She Rose Anyway Podcast
Some seasons break you wide open. The grief that will not move. The income that disappears overnight. The health scare that stops everything. The family betrayal you never saw coming. The moment you realize the life you built has shifted beneath your feet.
She Rose Anyway is for the woman who has lived through those moments and is still finding her way back to herself.
Hosted by Bea Baylor, Business Ecosystem Architect, best-selling author, and legacy strategist, this podcast is an honest conversation about what it actually takes to rise after loss, rebuild after collapse, and reclaim the life and purpose that was always meant for you. Bea brings her own story and the stories of women who refused to stay down through six powerful pillars: The Burning, The Pause, The Healing, The Rediscovery, The Rebuild, and The Rising.
This is not a highlight reel. This is the real work of women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond who chose to keep going when everything said stop.
If you are in the middle of your comeback, this show was made for you.
RISE. RECLAIM. REBUILD.

What happens when life changes in an instant? How do you find the strength to rise after loss, heartbreak, or unexpected life transitions?
In the very first episode of She Rose Anyway, host Bea Baylor welcomes women who are rebuilding their lives, rediscovering their purpose, strengthening their faith, creating wealth, and leaving a meaningful legacy after life's most challenging seasons. Bea introduces the Six Pillars of Rising: The Burning, The Pause, The Healing, The Rediscovery, The Rebuild, and The Rising—a powerful framework that has guided her own journey of resilience and transformation.
Bea courageously shares the life-changing experience of suffering a heart attack at home on September 14, 2020, during the height of the pandemic, followed by emergency open-heart surgery. Through this deeply personal story, she reveals how moments of crisis can become the beginning of healing after loss, emotional growth, and renewed purpose.
The conversation continues as Bea reflects on simplifying her life by downsizing into a 40-foot RV, a season she now recognizes as The Pause—a time of healing, reflection, and preparation for what was ahead. She then opens up about caring for her mother during her final months, the profound grief of losing her on May 21, 2024, and the emotional journey that followed.
Seeking space to heal, Bea spent four months in Thailand with her daughter and grandson, where she processed grief, navigated betrayal, deepened her relationship with God, and embraced emotional healing and personal growth. That season became the foundation for rediscovering who she was and stepping confidently into a new chapter.
Today, Bea is rebuilding through her Favor Legacy System and launching She Rose Anyway to encourage other women who are navigating life transitions, searching for hope, rebuilding their confidence, and believing it's never too late to rise again.
If you're looking for encouragement, resilience, and practical inspiration for rebuilding your life after adversity, this podcast is for you.

No matter what you've been through, you can still rise. You can still reclaim your life. You can still rebuild your legacy.
Welcome to She Rose Anyway, the podcast for women rebuilding their purpose, life, wealth, and legacy after a hard season. I'm your host, B. Baylor. On this show, we will tell the truth about the breaking point, healing work, and the courage it takes to rebuild and rise again. Through honest conversations and real stories, this is a safe space for women who are ready to rise, reclaim, and rebuild. Because your story is not over. Let's get into it. Hey sister. If your heart is caring more than your smile is showing, you're in the right place. Pull up a chair. This conversation's for you. Have you ever noticed that women love talking about their breakthrough? They will celebrate the promotion, the new relationship, the successful business that finally took off, the prayers that God answered. But almost no woman talks about the moment before that. The moment you're sitting in your car after a doctor's appointment, trying to hold back to tears, the moment the house is finally quiet, and you wonder if anyone really knows how much weight you're carrying. That is the woman I created this podcast for. Because I know her. And maybe she is you. Welcome to She Rose Anyway. I'm B. Baylor, your host, and I want to thank you for trusting me with your time today. This is not a podcast about pretending life is perfect. This is a place where women tell the truth about grief, about healing, about rebuilding after life knocks the wind out of you, and about discovering that the universe can still build something beautiful from the pieces you thought were broken. Over the years, I began noticing a pattern, not just in my own life, but in the lives of women I admired the most. Life taught it to me. I call it the six pillars of rising. I want to start with the burning, the pause, the healing discovery, the rebuild, and finally the rising. Today I want to tell you how I found those six pillars through my own story because I believe you will find pieces of your story somewhere inside of mine. On September the 14th, 2020, the world was already carrying the weight of the pandemic. And I kept trying to move forward anyway, like most of us did during the pandemic. I had responsibilities, my clients, my family, people who depended on me. I had spent years believing that being strong meant never slowing down. And somewhere along the way, I forgot that my own heart needed care. Then one day, my body interrupted the life I had been trying so hard to maintain. Ladies, I had a heart attack at home. Flatline. After being in the emergency room forever, and then over to a hospital bed, my doctor came in the room and said the words that no one ever wanted to hear. Miss Baylor, we're going to have to do emergency open heart surgery. And for the first time in a very long time, I was not in control of my life. I was afraid. And of course, alone, as you well know, during the pandemic, and I was on this journey during the pandemic. All I could do was be still. To stay in bed and not be in control of my life. My heart had been whispering to me for a very long time before it finally demanded my attention. Slow down, rest, stop carrying everything alone. I kept pushing until the whisper became a scream. Real loud. Maybe your interruption looked different, like a diagnosis or a loss of a job, a divorce, a dream that fell apart, um, loss of a family member, loss of your mom. However, it came, you probably discovered the same thing I did. Life can change in a single day, a single minute, a single hour. We all know that. And for a long time, I thought that heart attacks was the worst thing that ever happened to me. But today I see it differently. It was the beginning of the burning. The burning is not about destruction, it's about refinement. Sometimes God has to burn away the pace, the control, the identity we have built around being everything to everybody. Because we cannot carry all of that into the next season like we do every year. So I made a decision that surprised a lot of people, my family. I simplified my life, not because I had given up, but because I wanted to heal. After my open heart surgery, I needed a simpler life. I needed space to heal. I needed to stop spending money trying to maintain a lifestyle while my body was telling me it needed to rest. My 40-foot RV became more than just a place to sleep. It became my healing place and taught me that peace doesn't come from square footage. It comes from finally giving yourself permission to breathe. And without knowing it, I had just stepped into my second pillar. The pause. The pause is the season when life invites you to stop long enough to heal. It is the space between who you were and who you're becoming. It is not about quitting, it's about creating room for healing before the next chapter begins. Sometimes it is the bravest decision you will ever have to make. Everyone celebrated that I was alive, but surviving is not the same as healing. I needed less noise, less pressure, and less striving. So I downsized into that RV and it became my sanctuary. Every morning became an opportunity to pray, to listen, and for the first time in years, I was not asking God, what is next? I was asking God, who are you shaping me to become? Oh, I love, love, love saying that. Who are you shaping me to become? I don't remember what I owned during that season. I really don't. I had clothes, galore, shoes, purses, but I don't remember. What I remember is I gained perspective, peace, and a deeper relationship with God. Let that marinate. Like you have all of these clothes and material things, but you don't remember where they were, whether they were in, of course they were in storage. Some I gave away, I don't remember. I just know that I had a deeper relationship with God. Then life asked something even greater of me. My mother, my sweet mama, she needed me. So later that year, sometime the latter part of 2023, I sold my RV, not because that season had failed, but because it had fulfilled my purpose. So I moved in to care for my mom. I moved in with her. And this woman who had once cared for me, she now needed me to care for her. She was my rock, my friend, my everything. And you could just tell in my voice what my mom meant to me. If your parents are still here, love them well. Spend the extra hour. Say, I love you. Say it. Say it three or four times, not one more time. Because one day those are nearing moments become priceless memories. On May twenty first, my world changed. My sweet mother went home to be with the Lord. Grief does not move in a straight line. Some mornings I feel strong, other mornings I simply existed. I made a decision I could not keep pouring into everyone else while my own heart was empty. So my daughter and my grandson, we packed a suitcase and we bought us a plane ticket and trusted God with the rest. For four months, Thailand became the place where I stopped surviving and started killing. And we're talking about killing and rediscovery. Killing is not pretending you're okay. And it is not getting over it. Killing is choosing day after day not to let pain have the final word. For four months, I lived differently. No rush, no constant schedule, no pressure, or opportunity to perform tasks that I didn't even want to do in the United States. You had the opportunity to walk, to pray, and just rest. You could wake up any time of the night or morning and do exactly what you wanted to do. And somewhere in those quiet days, God began putting the broken pieces of my heart back together. One sunrise at a time. And oh, there were just mornings that you wake up and you see the sunrise and you see the quiet times, and you could take a walk and you could feel safe. And those were the good mornings. There were mornings when I miss my mom so deeply. I didn't have words. So I stopped fighting those moments and let myself grieve because grief is love with nowhere to go. Killing also required me to face another kind of pain: the pain of betrayal. I will not spend this podcast telling someone else's story. Those details are not mine alone to tell. But I will tell you what it taught me. Forgiveness does not always begin because someone apologizes. Sometimes it begins because you decide your future is too valuable to remain chained to your past. That decision happened prayer after prayer, day after day, kneeling on your knees and asking God for direction. When it was time to come home November the 23rd, or sometime in November, a couple of days before, I made a decision that I was ready to come home. So me and my grandson, we booked a ticket, and we got on the plane and we came home. What I realized is I was not the same woman who had boarded that airplane back to the U.S. The grief was still there. Yeah. But something else was there too. A sense of peace. That's when I keep going back to that sense of peace. You got to understand what it feels like when you're at peace. And that is when I discovered the fourth pillar, the rediscovery. The rediscovery is remembering who God says you are after life has tried to tell you who you're not. For the first time in a long time, I was not asking, What have I lost? I was asking, What has God preserved inside of me? The answer surprised me because it was hope, purpose, compassion, a calling stronger than ever. Ladies, killing prepares you, rediscovery reveals you, but eventually there comes a time to build again. So rebuilding is not going back to the life you lost, it is creating a life stronger because of what you have lived through. One brick at a time. For me, it was hundreds of small decisions, not one big breakthrough. The woman who came home from Thailand was not chasing approval, friends, family, or measuring success by titles anymore. She understood something she had never fully understood before. Real wealth begins with then. I was a wealthy woman. I return to the word God placed on my heart, helping people, teaching, coaching, building businesses, writing a book. I have written a book, and it will go bestseller, and we talk about that later. Everything I had lived through became part of what I know I had to give. None of it was wasted. I realized I had been following a pattern the whole time without knowing it. Faith, action, opportunity, restoration. Those five words became the favor legacy system, a framework for rebuilding a life rooted in faith, wisdom, and legacy. I believe legacy is measured by what you leave inside your children, not just what you leave them. Faith, character, integrity, courage, those are things that outlive us. Then one day a question settled into my spirit. What if my story was not meant to stay with me? What if there were women everywhere quietly carrying grief, rebuilding, wondering if anyone truly understood? The answer became this podcast. And that brings us to the sixth pillar, the rising. Ladies, rising is not pretending you've never fallen. It is choosing to stand anyway, carrying the scars without letting them define you. I would not have chosen the heart attack, the grief, the loss of my mom, the loss of a relationship, the loss of financial, the betrayal, or the tears. But I would not trade the woman, those experiences shaped because she knows God differently, loves differently, and leads differently. And my life is different. I feel renewed, I feel at peace, and this is something that you don't acquire overnight. It's a process, and having that opportunity. To be with God, to be in Thailand, to heal, to continue to grieve, and come back to the United States a different person. It mesmerized me who God really is and how He can bring restoration and rebuild your life if you give Him the opportunity. If you were listening today, maybe you're in the burning. Maybe you've taken a pause. Maybe you're healing, rediscovering, rebuilding. Or maybe you're just beginning to rise. I understand. Wherever you are, I want you to hear me. Get closer. Hear me. You're not behind. You're not forgotten. You're not disqualified. You are exactly where your next season can begin. Before I close, I want to ask you one question. Which pillar are you standing in today? Do not answer to anyone else. Write it down. Pray about it. Sit with it this week. That is what we're going to do together every week. One conversation, one courageous woman, one story of hope. I really want to thank you for trusting me with yours before you have ever shared it.
