SPEAKER_02

Jesus coming in with that fidget pen already. Episode nine, Royal Street Sessions. Welcome back. We back, baby. Welcome back, baby. We back. We're back, baby. We outside. We out here, baby. We out here. I'm referencing uh uh Club Godzilla. Club Godzilla?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Never heard of that.

SPEAKER_02

No? No. He did uh he did a bunch of twerk songs, twerking songs.

SPEAKER_06

That's an artist? Yeah, he died. Rest in peace. RP to Club Godzilla? Yeah. That's a career.

SPEAKER_02

The listeners, if they know. No, no. If you know, you know.

SPEAKER_06

That's a weird name.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sure you can play, you'll find one of his songs if you like click his name. One of his famous songs.

SPEAKER_04

He's like a DJ? No, he's just a singer. Big black rapper. Big black rapper.

SPEAKER_02

Rest in peace. RP. Anyways, episode nine. We are back again. Hope you guys liked the uh episode eight. Yeah. You know, us eating the ASMR. ASMR gummies. Have you listened to any of it yet? No, I have not. No, I am not. I have an editing schedule. I think I gave myself an editing schedule.

SPEAKER_06

Nice. I'm so nervous about it. I sent you that text. I feel bad. What what? I don't I'm not second guessing things, dude. I just I felt I was feeling real self-conscious about it.

SPEAKER_02

Well, which part? I don't know. It's alright. Don't do that. I don't know. It's alright. We're all our own biggest judges. We're all our biggest critics. Yeah. Is that what it is? Yeah. This one's gonna be good. Yeah, so that for this episode for the listeners, we're gonna try to introduce something new. We just watched uh we all watched something together that we've never seen that was on Netflix. The the Truth and Tragedy of Mariah Wilson. And before watching this movie, none of us had any idea who she was. Had no idea. We just all figured let's uh let's go through some let's let's go through some apps find some documentaries and we figured let's do some let's do like a tru a true crime type of thing, you know? Yeah, murder is always cool. A lot of people like listening.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I get it. Murder is always interesting.

SPEAKER_01

Cool as an interesting.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's like a primal. It's primal. You hear murder, you go, whoa.

SPEAKER_02

What? Alright, not a big thing. But yeah, we none of us had any idea who this girl was. Uh so she was a professional cyclist. Competitor. Cyclist. Uh she died. How do we want to do it?

SPEAKER_06

Do we want to break down the whole thing?

SPEAKER_02

So I don't that's a good idea. That's a good question. Um I guess spoiler alert. Yeah, I mean it's definitely gonna be a spoiler alert for the people who don't never seen it, obviously. Yeah. Um it came out when? Earlier this year. This year, right?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, sometime 2026. So it's like it's a new one. And it was like fair, it was like in the past couple months. I guess yeah, we can just kind of go through the whole thing. Lady ends up dead, friend finds her, she's in town. I'm already doing a bad job.

SPEAKER_01

No, you're actually doing a good start. Good job for like kind of how the the day of like occurs.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, day of.

SPEAKER_01

Um, cyclist with many wins under her belt.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, she was nasty.

SPEAKER_01

Because she's a gravel cyclist.

SPEAKER_06

No, nasty. That's a positive. That's like a positive. That's just bro talk. She was nasty. Nasty cyclist. Anyways, um she also did have a nasty face sometimes from the dust and the sweat, I'm assuming. Continue.

SPEAKER_01

Ended up going and hanging out with a friend who's also a cyclist.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Colin. That's what I'm saying. You talking about the girl or team day? Yeah, all right. Talking about Colin. We're talking about Colin, right? All right, Colin.

SPEAKER_06

Was that right about Colin?

SPEAKER_02

So Colin is her they're not.

SPEAKER_06

No, that's her friend. Gunner. All right, they interviewed Gunner. Gunner was the ex. Gunner was her first boyfriend. They dated forever, yaddy. I don't even know why they showed him. Who cares? Um, Colin is dating this girl named Caitlin. There's two Caitlens here.

SPEAKER_01

One goes by Cash.

SPEAKER_06

One goes, yeah. Her name is Caitlin Cash. She goes by Cash. She fucking rules. Good for her. She's cool. Great friend. She's the one that found Mo or Mariah dead.

SPEAKER_01

She's who Mo was staying with.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, they were staying at Caitlin Cash's house. We'll just call her Cash. We'll call her Cash. She was staying at Cash's house in Austin because she was there for a race. She had a, I guess, a guy friend in Austin that she also liked to hang out with by the name of Colin. Throughout the documentary, you learn Colin is a piece of shit. Colin is like cheating without cheating. Notoriously.

SPEAKER_01

Using a very like on again, off of off again relationship with kind of like some loopholes. Yeah, so he's dating this other K. I get the like piece of shit. Um the he was the one that I mentioned as a cyclist as well, and was extremely good at it. Um, and that's what he that's how they knew each other.

SPEAKER_02

It's like a love circle without a love circle.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, like a triangle, like a love triangle.

SPEAKER_02

Triangle, my bad. Yeah, exactly. That's a circle, my bad. Triangle.

SPEAKER_06

Speaking of circle, that analogy about the mud puddle that the mom did.

SPEAKER_01

That was weird. Horrible.

SPEAKER_06

Horrible analogy. Made no sense. She's like, imagine there's a mud puddle. Because eventually, yeah, she could just she's like, you can go around it over and over and over. Or you could just go right through it.

SPEAKER_01

Like, why wouldn't you just walk a semicircle around it? That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_06

Because then she finished it being like, you could just walk right through it and get on out on the other end. It's like, why wouldn't you just stop halfway through your circle and then continue to go and then you'd be out on the other end, not having gotten dirty? Like, what the fuck are you talking about? Mom was hot, also.

SPEAKER_02

Um I think that was that was good. That was good. I didn't catch that until towards the end. I was like, wait, I think he's just I wrote this is halfway through my notes.

SPEAKER_06

Mom is kind of bad. A baddie. Yeah, she's kind of a baddie. Anyways, uh, yeah, so they're staying with Caitlin Cash. Caitlin Cash comes. Okay, all right, all right. We find out Colin is kind of a piece of shit. He's dating this girl named Caitlin, not Caitlin Cash. I'm gonna stop calling her Caitlin Cash. Just Cash. We'll call her Cash. Correct, because that's what they did in the Yes, to differentiate in the show, too. Cash is the friend, Caitlin is Colin's girlfriend. Colin is continuously seeing this Mariah girl while she's in town, even though Caitlin, his girlfriend, hates it. And he's hiding it from her behind her back.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, by using a different name under the contacts, which Caitlin has access to.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, through an iPad in the same house. But they hadn't lived. Turns out she can read the whole fucking thing. So is Caitlyn late. This is where it gets weird.

SPEAKER_02

He already pre-planned that part because he named her Kristen Wall.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because he knew that she had access.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. Exactly. Now he's hiding it. Like outright.

SPEAKER_02

So yes.

SPEAKER_06

So he obviously knew he was doing something wrong. Whatever. Guys sucked. The the problem, all right. There's so many things I want to talk about.

SPEAKER_02

I will say though, there there was a lot of people that they threw at us at first.

SPEAKER_05

It was too many people. Uh in the in the first five minutes.

SPEAKER_02

In the end, it didn't it didn't matter. There was it was just their thoughts. Too many friends. It was just their thoughts.

SPEAKER_06

It's six different friends being like, I liked Mariah. No, she I get it. She was a sweetheart. Cool.

SPEAKER_01

So I would understand if they brought in like, you know, the the main suspects at first, the family, and like Cash, because she's the one who found her. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Which Cash was they did look at her as a suspect at first. They did the first one, yeah. But just to clarify.

SPEAKER_01

Um, but that also like and and of course, like the lawyers and detectives. I I get that part, but why all the extra friends? Until like until like the end of like, you know, in remembrance of Mo and like go over like how the how her friends felt about her.

SPEAKER_06

Because nothing they said during the entire podcast was or of the entire documentary was like of importance. It was literally just like she was a sweetheart. It's like, okay. Yeah, and this is where it gets weird. Because all right, Colin sucks. He's technically cheating on this girl Caitlin by asking Mariah to hang out. And you you picture Mariah as this like, oh, like a goody two shoes kind of girl, and this bad boy's kind of like talking to her, and she's like, I'll go on a date with him. Caitlin called Mariah on the phone. Mariah answered. Caitlin goes, Hey, Colin and I are still in a relationship. Please stop hanging out with him. Okay. Colin then asked Mariah to hang out on the night of the murder. Right. Mariah says yes. That's I mean, I'm not victim blaming here by any means, but that's crazy. Lady.

SPEAKER_01

That is crazy. Chill. Um, I I I feel like they should have probably put like a time frame on like when the call when she got the call and like now.

SPEAKER_06

Because she didn't live in town, too.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. So like who know who knows if it if it was like her being in town like a day or two, she gets the call. The only reason she even answered this random Texas numbered call, even though she's from Vermont, is because she's waiting for a sponsorship. Yeah, yeah, she was competitive. In Texas. Yeah. So that that would be a logical reason there. But the timing, I wish they would have given us that.

SPEAKER_06

She lives in Vermont and she came down to Austin for a race, but she had because her friend Cash lives there also, she has somewhere to stay. She comes down there often. Or I think she said it was her second or third time.

SPEAKER_01

Second time.

SPEAKER_06

Second time there. So she met Colin the first time, though.

SPEAKER_01

She's she had known Colin previously. Through the race community. Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, he was a bike builder. Yeah. And they were talking, I'm assuming, while she was in Vermont also. It's not like she hit him up as soon as she got to Boston.

SPEAKER_01

Um, but it wasn't necessarily a romantic relationship. I don't think it ever was. No, I know it it pointed that Mohead felt possibly like romantic at some point, and then they decided like it just wasn't gonna work, so they weren't gonna go that route. But still he's a good he was a good um communication for the bike world and like trying to figure out how to get those sponsorships because he had already had sponsorships.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, he was almost like a mentor. Yeah, he was also like 10 years older than her, and so was the girlfriend Caitlin. I don't know. I'm not like I said, I'm not victim blaming, but it was just weird. That's like, all right, you got the call, you gotta know when to like just fold your hand, lady, and just be like, alright, this one's off the table. If you got a crazy girlfriend calling you and be like, hey, don't hang out with my boyfriend, don't hang out with her boyfriend, dude.

SPEAKER_05

She's gonna fucking kill you.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's usually yeah, the product every time. And then all right, so Cash finds her dead. Turns out she got shot three times. Yeah, two. Two in the head, one in the heart. One in the heart. Heartbreaking.

SPEAKER_02

I'm still I'm surprised that even after seeing that, that the cops still instructed her to do CPR. Well, they didn't know it was chest compression.

SPEAKER_06

They didn't know that part yet. They didn't know that it was gunshots.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because the the dispatcher was the one who who told her to do CPR.

SPEAKER_06

She called 911 dispatch told her to do CPR. She probably could, but the the dispatch couldn't, and she didn't say it. She didn't say it.

SPEAKER_01

She didn't specify where she had gotten shot. She just said the head's bleeding, there's blood everywhere. I like I don't know if she's awake.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's what it was. He said, Is she awake? And she was like, No. That was it. She didn't say anything about gunshots though. She just said she's laying on the ground and bleeding. Okay. So the guy was like, do CPR.

SPEAKER_02

So I was paying attention. She just didn't say it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, just but yeah.

SPEAKER_02

She finds her. But okay. To me, she was innocent though. She was just a she was. Definitely. She was just completely innocent.

SPEAKER_06

I even get like she has no friends in this city, really, except for the one that she's staying with. Ann Colin. That seemed like pretty much it.

SPEAKER_02

And I really understand. And it makes sense why the name, the title of what it was. Because it really was a tragedy. Yeah, it was just that she she literally went out to hang out with a friend.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But there's some implications there.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there's a lot of implications.

SPEAKER_06

But it does get creepy because it turns out that Caitlin Lady was stalking them the entire time that they were on this date.

SPEAKER_01

For Lord knows how well she wasn't stalking them, she was stalking the house. Yeah, yeah. To see when Colin dropped her off.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, circling the block.

SPEAKER_01

Premeditated.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Like a thousand percent.

SPEAKER_06

She had, yeah. I guess spoiler alert, she ended up getting 90 years, which is that's a fucking heavy sentence.

SPEAKER_01

Plus a $10,000 fine.

SPEAKER_06

That felt so redundant to me. I don't know why they said that. They're like 90 years, so she's gonna die in prison. Also, she has to pay $10,000. Like, what? Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Cool. She was really dead cold in the face. She's terrifying. No. She's terrifying looking. Literally, no emotional. That's a scary lady. And she changed her facial, her nose structure to look like her sister. Okay, yeah. So they bring her part of the story.

SPEAKER_06

So yeah, we'll break that. Alright, so they go, they bring her in for questioning. They go, Okay, we're pretty sure we saw your Jeep at the scene of the crime on this ring doorbell camera. I don't get why. Alright, so they bring her in and they say, This is voluntary. You're not detained right now. We're just questioning you. You can tell us whatever you want to. She goes, I want a lawyer. They go, I get that. Then we only have one side of the story. Exactly. And then she goes, Well, I want to leave. And they go, Okay, you're allowed to leave. They think she's a suspect. And I know you can't detain her because you don't have proof yet. You gotta keep an eye on her.

SPEAKER_05

Which they did not. Keep a fucking eye on her, dude. She they gave her six days unattended. She ended up in fucking New York and then Costa Rica.

SPEAKER_02

Costa Rica.

SPEAKER_06

Getting plastic surgery to look like her sister, dyeing her hair, using different passports. Like, bro, keep a fucking eye on this lady.

SPEAKER_01

Committing fraud, using the sister's eye passport.

SPEAKER_02

She did this all within six to eight days.

SPEAKER_01

Six days. Yeah. That's fucking nuts.

SPEAKER_06

Six days. And then ended up in Costa Rica under her sister's name. Shout out to the detectives on this case. They're fucking awesome. Yeah, they uh killed it, bro.

SPEAKER_02

That's yeah.

SPEAKER_06

They're like, she's a yoga instructor. We think we found her at the city in Costa Rica. We just don't know where she's at. So we put out an ad looking for a yoga instructor, and she fucking applied. Fucking fell for it. And they said, Are you Caitlyn Yada Yada? And she goes, Yes.

SPEAKER_05

Hey man, you did all this work. Change your name. Don't reply to the locals down there. Is that you're something else? You almost root for him to get away at that point. You're like, all right, you made it all the way down there. There's a little bit of that in you, because I'm always fucked 12, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_06

But I'm joking.

SPEAKER_05

But it's it's almost like, God leave, you did so much so well. You got out of there so quick, so quick, and then you just got got like that. What a dickhead.

SPEAKER_02

Kept your same name.

SPEAKER_06

43 days. She was down there for 43 days. They're about to give up on it. And then that one detective with a gray beard was like, put a yoga ad out and got her ass, dude. That's insane. White bitch is gonna white bitch, man. So I have to teach yoga. I don't care where I'm at.

SPEAKER_02

That's exactly what I was thinking. I was like, she had to get to you. Not that part where you said, not exactly what you said, but the whole like I she's like she couldn't hold it in. She had to get her yoga in somehow. She's like, shit, let me get some money while I'm out here. Do yoga.

SPEAKER_01

It's because while she was in Austin, she was a yoga instructor and realtor.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and apparently she had all this money to flee because the guy 40k. Yeah. Because the guy gave her investment money as soon as it had like right before it happened. So she had all this cash floating around to just kind of like plan this with.

SPEAKER_01

So not only were Colin and Caitlin in a relationship, but they were also business partners.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So that that would be why Colin gave her $40,000 for an investment.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, she handled all the financial side of his like trailer business. It was like a what'd they call it? Some kind of trailer. He was making he was like custom, like retrofitting our custom trailers. For like like it seemed like van life type shit. Like he was building like wooden tables in there and all that.

SPEAKER_04

Um like the uh those cool looking old school ovens.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, they had like a wood-burning stove in there. Yeah, wood burning. That was sick. That's what it was. It looked really cool. It was like straight like van life type stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Um and then also building bikes.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, yeah. The bikes was like his main thing.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, he was a shredded boy. That dude was in shape. Good lord.

SPEAKER_02

His arms?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, man. Just I wrote down Colin, 2% body fat. Um probably realistically closer to six, but that guy was shredded.

SPEAKER_02

What else did I write here that doesn't closer to six, let me just be precise.

SPEAKER_06

If I had to guess. Uh I wrote infotainment center question mark. Dumb. I hate the name of that. I think that's dumb. I don't know what an infotainment center is.

SPEAKER_01

So I think it's considered an infotainment center because it not only has like the entertainment aspect of it where it has like the radio and everything, but it also is taking information as far as like GPS.

SPEAKER_06

So that's what it was. That's the whole like radio apparatus, like the screen and all that.

SPEAKER_01

That's why they tried to make sure that they could um obtain that vehicle from Carfax. Um get that system out for our data, for the data people.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. And that did end up, that's how they found out that she was circling the house forever.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that that's how they put the exact path on her, even after she was smart enough to turn off her phone. I she did not think about the vehicle aspect of it.

SPEAKER_06

Imagine being that lady, because I said she circled the block a couple times, was turning like she didn't know what to do, then sits in a parking lot for like a couple minutes and then cuts off the phone. That's when she like made the decision. That's so creepy.

SPEAKER_01

And then you just stalk that house. Like it at any point that you were creeping this house, hate it. Did the thought not change of like shit? Maybe I shouldn't do this. What like no? I think that was the flip. But at the same time, like as you're circling, what in your mind doesn't go? Wow, I could really get in like some deep shit for this.

SPEAKER_06

She had crazy brain.

SPEAKER_01

For real crazy brain and no emotion.

SPEAKER_06

No, but yeah, that's flippable. Yeah, no emotion. I don't care what the repercussions are, I'm gonna go shoot this lady. That sucks, dude.

SPEAKER_02

Three times.

SPEAKER_06

I don't think I've ever been that angry.

SPEAKER_02

The fact that she took a few seconds between for the last shot.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's creepy. Yeah, they said it was uh two shots simultaneously and then a six-second pause, then the third shot. They have the audio on like the neighbor's ring camera, but they didn't play it, thank god. That would fuck me up. They redacted it. Yeah, that would fuck me up. That's so sad. Especially you said you could they said they could hear the screams.

SPEAKER_02

You could hear the screams, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That's rough. That's that's fucked up. But yeah, the the second the six-second pause is that's brutal. It was probably realistically, she was running away, and then he caught her or she caught up to her, like walked over to her to do the last shot. But it's still just creepy to imagine those six seconds. That's movie stuff, yeah. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think that's what the case is. I think because it sounds like she got shot in the head first, twice. So she's already down. Yeah. I think Caitlyn officially wanted it go, wanted to like make sure, like, I'm gonna shoot you in the heart, and you there's no way that you're going to live through this.

SPEAKER_06

The heart was brutal.

SPEAKER_01

Extremely.

SPEAKER_06

That's insane, dude. The way that that black was he a cop or what was he the uh was he a detective? That black dude that was like, I'm the fucking shit.

SPEAKER_04

You know what I'm talking about?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I know who he was. I can't remember his title.

SPEAKER_01

I believe he was one of the attorneys.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. But he was he was describing it in the courtroom where he was like, then he's she stood over and shot her in the heart. It's like, Jesus Christ, man. That takes some serious anger. And usually, this is just what I've heard from watching true crime talks and stuff like that. Women don't typically use guns. Women are much more physical. They like to they like to stab bitches and choke them. And poison is a big one if they're killing men, but they don't shoot a lot.

SPEAKER_01

So I I've heard that, but I always I I heard it in the aspect of like if they're going to commit suicide, it's not gonna be with a gun, it'll be with like a pill or an overdose, not a like blow your head off kind of like suicide.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, or they don't jump off buildings as well.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, like it's not as violent, not not very like gory.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I think women in general they just don't really fuck with guns as much. So it's crazy when you hear that a woman shot another woman three times in like cold blood. It's like that kind of hits different.

SPEAKER_02

They were in Texas too.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I think this is in Austin, but yeah, you picture it almost it stings a little more when it's a woman. Because like you hear a dude shoot someone, you're like, Yeah, bro, we spaz. But like a woman doing it is like, Jesus Christ, what a psycho.

SPEAKER_02

This was in 2022, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, 2022.

SPEAKER_02

May of 2022 is when it happened and she was convicted, and it all whatever happened in November.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. God man, yeah, that was that was brutal. I I really thought the mom at the end was gonna get me with her um her speech on the stand. I did not lie for it.

SPEAKER_02

I was expecting, yeah, a little more like deeper hits in the heart. I think but they do have to write it.

SPEAKER_06

It's pre written.

SPEAKER_02

A few were a few hits, a few sorry, a few of her words did hit at the beginning. It was good to start speaking.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it was good. It was good when she was like, You shot um You shot her in the heart. You shot all of us in the heart. Yeah, that's that was good. But it does have to be pre-written so you don't fuck it up. And that always comes off as like kind of insincere. Obviously, it wasn't that poor woman. I mean, that's she was the one throughout the whole documentary that I was like, dude, I don't feel bad for anybody in this doc except this lady. That fucking sucks. And Cash. She seems like a great friend. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out to her. Especially Cash finding her. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Staying in the house too. She decided to stay live in the house that it happened in because she felt close to her there.

SPEAKER_02

That's she changed everything to make it look brighter. Yeah, brighter. Yeah, that does take a lot. Yeah. To do that. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

And staying in that house and redecorating, she's also she said she was also um kind of holding on to that last day that Mo had because prior to being shot, because fucking Caitlin's a psycho bitch, um, she had a very beautiful day. They they they made breakfast together, they had coffee. She went on her bike ride to train for that the the race she was supposed to have the next day. Like it was full of love and laughter, and that's a lot of the reason that Cash kind of held out and is is is staying where she's where everything happened.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, what a crazy life.

SPEAKER_01

And um chat GP Bree did some research. You are actually correct. Um while guns are most common weapons for both male and female killers, studies suggest that women use firearms in less than half of their killings.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Tony, they like poisoning dudes and they like stabbing ladies. It's just that's Senior's nature. JK. Imagine that life, though. That's crazy. Being like this world champion bike rider, traveling across the country. She's a young, attractive chick. She was 25. She's 25 years old, hanging out with dudes, hanging out with boys, having a good group of friends, doing what you love, making money, getting sponsors. And then you got a race this week, and you're like, I'm gonna kill it. Have a great day. Go home. Fucking hang out with the dude that you did not think would get you in this situation, and then get home and immediately he leaves, and that lady pulls up. Yeah. Just immediately riding that high. Kind of just got off kind of a date. Kind of just got home from a date. A little bit, at least like a hangout date, but it was a little, I mean, there's something there.

SPEAKER_02

They chose to they also chose to ride the motorcycle to where they can be uh, you know, touching. Exactly.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, she was she literally just got off this dude's motorcycle, and then less than 10 minutes later, she's getting shot in the fucking face. That's insane. I don't want to die, Angel. I'm so scared.

SPEAKER_02

I don't want to do it, dude. Nobody wants to die, my friend. No, you're right. All right. No, but no, to think about it. That's right. I mean, the whole like living that life and then just want to hang out with a friend. And then the next thing you know, knock on your door or however it happens. You just you never know when you they didn't say that part, huh? They didn't say how she got in. They didn't explain that. You're right.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't, yeah. I wonder if she knocked or if she just went in.

SPEAKER_01

I think she did. I think she would have knocked. She probably would have knocked it. Because it did, it doesn't seem like per what the investigator said, it doesn't seem like somebody like broke in.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, they said there was no forceful entry. Also, if you hear it from the neighbor across the street's ring camera, that makes me think the door was open. So maybe she knocked open the door immediately. Bop bop. Right? Oh, I would think so. You hear the scream, she probably holds up the gun when she's at the door, the lady starts screaming, she shoots.

SPEAKER_01

But she's found in the bathroom.

SPEAKER_06

True. You can't run all the way to the bathroom when you've been shot in the head twice. Unless you're Mariah fucking Wilson. Maybe you killed World Champion athlete.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, sometimes, yeah. I mean, I mean, people survive gunshot when they're gonna be able to do it. So, yeah, I mean, maybe if your brain wasn't shot.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. No, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know how, but Jesus Christ, man. Yeah, it was brutal. Tough watch.

SPEAKER_02

The truth and tragedy of Mariah Wilson. Yep. Again, we had no idea what we were gonna w get into. We had no idea. I mean, obviously we knew it was gonna be like a a doc uh true crime documentary. That was a documentary, right?

SPEAKER_06

Yes. Yeah, it's not a docuseries. It was only one, it was like one movie. It was an hour and a half, not not episodes.

SPEAKER_02

I feel like uh if if we do that, uh or do a docuseries thing, we'll plan for that, obviously. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, this is definitely something we did not expect. I mean I mean, obviously, when we when you watch these things, you some some you eventually we all find out the truth in the end. Yeah. But we did not expect obviously nobody expects how they're they're gonna end. Yeah, yeah. We were definitely all thrown off.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, a little bit. It took a little bit until they because they were pointing at it obviously the roommate at first, but that was for like two minutes because it was like that's the one that found her. And then you know with these documentaries too, if they're interviewing them in person, it's not them, right? Like immediately.

SPEAKER_02

They were interviewing her immediately. That's exactly my thing. If they're in the video, like in the actual like video that the documentary is shooting, yeah, exactly. It's not them. And they didn't bring Colin in until way later.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so they played that well. With Colin, I honestly kind of expected him at first, but it's because like he's the last person she was seen with. Literally just dropped her off, and now she's just dropped her off, and then bam, she's dead.

SPEAKER_06

That's also how they let it up to be. They definitely emphasized that it was gonna be him. They brought him in for questioning, they haven't talked to him on the actual dock yet. They were like, this is the only guy with motive so far.

SPEAKER_01

No idea who Caitlin is at the end.

SPEAKER_06

Then they start going, Well, this guy did have a girlfriend. That's a little bit of a hothead.

SPEAKER_01

What got me was when they um we're kind of talking the family was talking about when the um defense attorney for Caitlin was handling the bike.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because Mariah's whole thing was cycling. Um Caitlin ends up moving her bike, so it looks possibly like a robbery. Yeah, that was a big thing. Never got an explanation on that. I don't think Caitlin even like gave any explanation at any point.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but then a ten thousand dollar fine because it was that bike, that ten thousand dollar bike. It might be what it was. I wonder why she did that.

unknown

I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_02

She just took her bike and then dumped it in the wheel. She just added a little extra to how much of a crazy bitch he was.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then so like when they roll out the bike, apparently it's it's fine. But when the defense attorney starts like handling the bike, it it wasn't like a gentle handling. He's like shaking this bike, like showing people how like a an everyday person would like carry a bike.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, just to point out the fact that that's the one part of the bike that they didn't swab for. But if that's where everybody holds it, you're not gonna have like you, yes, you'll have possibly extra prints, but the other parts of the bike, why would your DNA be there if everyone else is holding it a different place?

SPEAKER_06

Exactly. Yeah, he's like, this is how everyone would hold it. Why wouldn't you swab it here? Because everyone holds it there, bro. I'm looking for someone that had to do some shit with this thing. Also, being a two things, being a defense attorney sucks. That's that's a crazy job to be like, I know this lady's definitely guilty, but I don't have to know who they did it. Yeah, I have the defender. Secondly, when he was holding that bike by the middle of it, I don't know how heavy those whatever they are, gravel bikes are. Bro, just lateral raised it like six times. Like, god damn, bro's got deltoids from hell.

SPEAKER_01

It looks like a race type.

SPEAKER_06

That's how light it looked. Just a full metal frame bike, and he's just side raising it. I was like, damn, bro.

SPEAKER_02

I would be upset though, being a family member and watching that. Yeah. The way he handled her bike, just her livelihood. Yeah, like her whole life. Yeah, that's insane. I'd be pissed. Yeah, he was like scoffing at it. I'd be that one jumping over the thing, getting in trouble myself.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's uh, dude, that's gotta be so brutal being in those situations as the family members having to sit there and just listen to all of it. Oh, having to hear that ring doorbell footage.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, no, that's gotta be insane, man. Even yeah, they even re replayed the audio for cash. Yeah, she's like, Yeah, that was weird. She's like, I'm literally reliving this.

SPEAKER_06

Like replayed the 911 call when she found it at the beginning of the documentary. For her to be like, yeah, yep, that's what it was. Like, Jesus, man. But I guess that's how you get them in the mood, you know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, dude. Uh this is this was definitely uh it it didn't hit me in the I mean it hit me in the heart, obviously. Yeah. It didn't make me cry though. There are either. There are some that hit me harder that make me want to cry. Yeah. Uh, but this one just made me more mad. If I think I was more mad at the fact that it was the way and how evil that bitch was.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, whenever it's a stone cold killer like that, it's always like that shit. Man, what a bummer. There's just people out there like that that can just kill you and not give a fuck.

SPEAKER_02

That little I will say though, I did love the fact that they gave her that little cherry on top of the 90 years. Bitch, you're already probably 20. You're gonna be a hundred and something by the time you're out. Yeah, good luck with that. Here's a little extra ten thousand dollars to pay.

SPEAKER_06

You also got a ten thousand dollar fine.

SPEAKER_02

Like here, give me, you have to give us your life savings.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that sucks. That all sucks.

SPEAKER_02

If you happen to get parole, but they didn't even give her the chance of chance of parole. No, they just gave her a chance.

SPEAKER_06

It was like premeditated first.

SPEAKER_02

And even even a 3.5 uh bond, 10 even to get 10% of that, 3.5 million is is what that number was. Yeah, and 10% to bond the $350,000.

SPEAKER_06

Like no, she's gone.

SPEAKER_02

You're gonna be in there for a long time.

SPEAKER_06

That lady literally, as we speak, is just sitting in prison, chilling. But yeah, she's just a very great point. I did not think about that shit. These people don't feel real when you watch documentaries like that, and it's like, yeah, that was only three years ago. It's gonna be four years. It's gonna be four years this year. She's fresh into her sentence, dude. She's not even 40 yet, and her entire life. She's gonna kill herself.

SPEAKER_02

I hope that nose job was worth it, bitch. Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_06

Where do you think she got it? You think she got it in or in Costa Rica? She goes way worse due to the city.

SPEAKER_01

Costa Rica Costa Rica had to have had to be Costa Rica because she had a warrant out. So had she done it in like New York, it she would have been caught. But do the warranty.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, they did, yeah. They had a uh full nationwide search for that's right. And it's cheaper over there. Yeah, true. Costa Rica, that's Mexico, right? Uh basically is Costa Rica a separate is it a state in Mexico?

SPEAKER_02

It's its own country. Oh, okay. Uh it's over there. Over there. I don't know where I'm pointing. Down there. It's down over there. It's in the Gulf of America. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So with Caitlin being in jail, I know she didn't have as as amazing. She didn't have a mill as amazing as ours earlier.

SPEAKER_06

True. Great segue.

unknown

Let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, wait, last real quick, great segue, Brie. Back to the Mariah Wilson thing. I wrote down Ian question mark, gay question mark, dot dot dot like. Remember that guy? Oh, the the reporter. Yeah, that dude sucked. Anyways, keep going.

SPEAKER_02

He was just doing his job. He sucked. Casso Umami. But he had that his, you know, his mouth. His he had that little mouth thing. What's the mouth thing?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, his little droop.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, like palsy type thing. Is that yeah? Whereas, yeah, it looked like a half a stroke.

SPEAKER_02

But I think it was from like eating food a lot. Hell yeah. You probably got a plastic surgery. He probably was huge, just you know. So he used to eat a lot. He used to eat a lot of burgers. He used to eat a lot of tacos. He used to eat a lot of chicken strips. Let's go. He used to shout out Casa Umami, dude.

SPEAKER_06

Great segue.

SPEAKER_02

Guys, y'all are on fire. Today was the grand opening of Casa Umami Taste Effix. Shout out PR. Shout out San. Shout out PR. Shout out San. Shout out PR though. Mostly PR though.

SPEAKER_01

Today, May 9th.

SPEAKER_02

Today, May 9th, yes. Damn, we gotta start doing that at the beginning. Today is May 9th for us. You guys will be listening at some point. Um so yeah, they are their menu is uh uh very it's very small, it's but it's diverse, it's and it's very very, very flavorful. Flavorful. No, it was fucking toxic.

SPEAKER_06

It was so good.

SPEAKER_02

I think we all got something different. Not I think we did. We all got something different just to give our little give our tongues different. No, just a little review. Give some tongues the different.

SPEAKER_01

Josh, what did you think of yours? What'd you get?

SPEAKER_06

Mine was great. I got some big ass chicken tenders. They were go chujang. They're called yeah, the gochujang. Go chujang. Crunch strips. Crunch strips. Fucking huge. They were so big. Juicy as hell. Delicious. They have homemade ranch. I believe that's homemade. It tasted homemade. It tasted homemade. It was pretty fucking good. That was good. Really good. Came with some crinkle cut fries. They were great. They were so good. And then Amber had the uh.

SPEAKER_03

Is it biria or biria? Beria. Beria. Not berilla. Beria. Beria. There you go. Quesa birria.

SPEAKER_01

It looked really good.

SPEAKER_02

Tacos e came with the came with the consume.

SPEAKER_06

The consume and the red sauce and the green sauce. And you said which one was spicier? The red sauce burned my fucking mouth open, dude. It hurts. I said open, I meant off. Burned my fucking mouth off. The red sauce was so hot. The green sauce was so delicious. The consume was good.

SPEAKER_02

So you've had plates, you've had, I'm sure you've tried her tacos from other places, right? Guess Alberia? See, see, see, I see. Can you tell the difference? Could you tell the difference with this one? Absolutely. Absolutely. This one was way better. Hell yeah. They were delicious. Well, like, seriously, like, shout out to Flavor. That flavor was there. They were very good. On everything. I don't have a on everything.

SPEAKER_06

I don't have a super uh super refined palette. So I mean, to be completely honest, they taste they were very good, but I've had very good furrier tacos. I don't know. They were all great. No, yeah. So everything, everything I didn't notice a huge difference between where I've had them before, but I haven't had them in a long time. That's the thing.

SPEAKER_02

They were good though. That'd be cool though, one day we can do a BNA taste test. Hopefully they don't get too stale or too whatever, but yeah, get a nice little casabity, a little taste test from like three or four different places. We could just make this a fucking food podcast, dude. I'll eat everything. Dude, I would love to do that. Let's do it. Combin everybody's favorite love of us talking in their ear. Fucking hell yeah. Once a week, every Wednesday. Every Wednesday on anywhere you get podcasts on YouTube. And then and then eating food and hearing us. We'll find out when you guys hear episode eight. Yeah, I'm sorry about that guy. I uh chat GP Brie, what did you have?

SPEAKER_01

Chat GP Brie had a um it it was called the El Gayo. So I had mango habanero chicken strips.

SPEAKER_02

Um pineapple mango habanero.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, pineapple, mango, habanero, chicken strips, which again, Josh has a fantastic point. It's like half a chicken breast for these chicken strips. Super juicy, super moist, super flavorful. Juicy super juicy.

SPEAKER_06

No, they are, they were juicy as fuck. Big old all right, go sorry.

SPEAKER_01

Um, my sandwich also had coleslaw on it. Um, but it looks like it was just red cabbage and red onion. It just added to the flavor profile.

SPEAKER_06

I fucking love red onions.

SPEAKER_01

We also got cringle cut fries, and I had elote as well. Um, they actually add lime to it. It tastes really good.

SPEAKER_02

I was, I'm not gonna lie, as a as a Mexican who grew up this way in my life. Let them know. Let them know. Uh I am not used to having lime in my elote with mayonnaise and and parmesan and cheese. I'm not used to having it. It was good. It threw me off though.

SPEAKER_06

That's your first time having it with lime? With lime. Was it lime just they just close the lime in there you're talking, or was it like it was mixed in already? Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Oh.

SPEAKER_06

But good, very good. Nice. I've only had elote like once in my life. It's pretty good.

SPEAKER_04

I don't like elote very much. You don't like mayonnaise, not a mayonnaise guy?

SPEAKER_02

No, uh, it's not that it's not that it has nothing to do with the flavor. Oh. I just don't like seeing my food twice when I don't want to. You be shitting that shit out like that. Exactly. I feel that. But that's uh, so that that's why I don't like corn.

SPEAKER_04

Corn, no man goes to the card. Yeah, corn's kind of pointless, to be honest. It's kind of just uh it's a fucking nothing vegetable. Um, so uh sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Back to kasa Umami. Uh I got the umami smash burger, which is a double patty smash burger with uh sauteed onions, their uh umami sauce.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, they had a separate sauce for it, which is their housemate sauce. Is it like a smash like a thousand island type sauce? Like a smash. It's kind of like in the yeah, okay, nice, but like better, obviously. Yeah, because of their own casu umami. Taste the fix. Um I'm going to Casa Mimami tomorrow. Oh, me tham yen. Me C C Cam Yen.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out to Meetam Yen too. Mother's Day weekend, Mother's Day weekend. Yeah, true. Uh, but um, but yeah, I mean, smash burgers, dude. Uh I so like I don't normally get them. I mean, I do, I'm not gonna lie. I make them, but I don't I can never make them like you see them. I've never tried them anywhere else.

SPEAKER_06

It looks so hard. Do you do you do the like with the press and everything? I do the whole press I do the whole thing. It looks like you really have to commit to the high heat and just like fucking just hash that bitch on there.

SPEAKER_02

I might not be doing the high heat too much. You gotta go high heat.

SPEAKER_06

Because I can't get them to look the way they do, all crunchy and nice and well the pro yeah, the thing is, yeah, you gotta get them so thin on those edges that the the edges cr like they damn near like what's it called? Like they burn. What's there's like a word for it in in food. Like they char. Char, yeah. They char the edges. Yeah, yeah. Because they're so thin that by the time the middle is even slightly thicker and cooked through, the edges of those smash burgers are fully charred and crispy. And that's I mean that's a fucking art, dude.

SPEAKER_02

I use my whole like whole body weight to fucking smash. And like I even though it's still hot, I guess I'm not using it hot enough. But it does burn. What do you use? Cast iron? Or you just use like a uh is this one cast iron? I don't think so. You do it on the other? It's a skillet. No, it's just a griddle. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The black flat uh griddle. Is it black stone? It's that should be cast iron. Oh, it might be, yeah. Yeah, it's one of those flat griddles that like goes over your so we have yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

We have a glass is it heavy?

SPEAKER_01

We have the electric glass top.

SPEAKER_06

If it's heavy, it's probably cast iron.

SPEAKER_02

It is heavy. Yeah, it's cast probably. It's just gray, so it threw me off. I didn't think I'm used to cast iron being black. That's why. Maybe that's why I don't think it's cast iron.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe it's not. I don't know. Go grab it. Let's go. Let's go make some right now.

SPEAKER_02

Let's try to make some smash burgers. I've done that before though, uh, like even just on the countertop, and I still can't get I I guess I don't squeeze down enough. I don't know what it is. I just can't do it.

SPEAKER_06

Put some shelter into that thing, man.

SPEAKER_02

But uh, I love I love burgers, man. This burger instant, instant flavor pop.

SPEAKER_06

Was there uh were the pickles on there?

SPEAKER_02

Oh yes, there was. You like pickles? I love pickles. I fuck with pickles, and you can tell too they were the ones that either homemade or uh they just tasted homemade. Nice, but they're thick too. Yeah, like the thick ones. I like that. Um and then I also ordered an order of uh chicken trips of the sweet chili, sorry, the crunch trips.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Is that the one we all tried, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That was sweet chili. Yeah, those were good. Sweet chili. And I think I got the I don't know how big your guys' pieces was, but mine was huge. I think I'm telling you, that's I felt like it was I got the biggest piece. They were fucking big, dude. They were big pieces. Um and then Bree also got a cucumber limeade, which was that drink was so refreshing.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I pretty much downed it before we even got to the house, and that's like a 15-20 minute drive. I I'd I was just all the way.

SPEAKER_04

Do they have other flavors of the refreshing thing or refresher? I saw orchata. Orchata. Do they have an orchata one?

SPEAKER_01

They also have jamaica.

SPEAKER_02

Hamica spritz? What the fuck is Hamaica? Hecama? Hibiscus. No. No, not hikama.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you saw Hamaica, it's made with ha hibiscus flour?

SPEAKER_02

It is hibiscus flour, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, what is I've never heard of that. It's like a pink refreshing drink. Hamica.

SPEAKER_01

Or like red more so. Huh. It's like depends on how pink.

SPEAKER_04

Pink, purple, all in white.

SPEAKER_02

Like super dark stains. Yeah. Like did I say stings? I meant to say uh uh stains. Yeah, yeah, I guess. Or stain the shit out of your shit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um what is it? Hamaica? Hamica, yeah. Hamica. It's it's healthy too.

SPEAKER_04

Nice.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but yeah, kasa umami, and then so for those who don't know the the word umami is the definition for it. It's the fifth basic taste alongside sweet, sour, salty, and bitter, often described as a savory, brothy, and or meaty flavor. Derived from the Japanese. Which I knew that already.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's like it's MSG. That's what people use MSG for is for the umami flavor.

SPEAKER_02

Mono soto yum glutamate. Yes. If I think correct?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it is monosodium glutamate, yeah. MSG. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's good, man. That's the stuff literally that adds flavor to your shit.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's literally just a flavor enhancer.

SPEAKER_02

We have a we have a seasoning called it's from Fiesta. The brand Fiesta.

SPEAKER_06

Accent.

SPEAKER_02

And then uh uh it was it's just called Fajita. Oh really? But it's basically Kogumami, which is another brand that we buy. I forget what's the brand?

unknown

I can't remember the name of that brand.

SPEAKER_06

The only MSG I've ever gotten is the Accent brand.

unknown

Okay, I know.

SPEAKER_06

We haven't had that one though.

unknown

Crap, I'm trying to remember.

SPEAKER_06

I don't use it too much when I cook. Do y'all use MSG when you cook?

SPEAKER_02

Just in those that's already uh included in the seasonings. Yeah. Not a separate seasoning.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. My buddy uses it a lot. It's good. I just can't get in the habit of using it. Yeah, I mean it seems like it's a good thing.

SPEAKER_02

Seems like a not super necessary thing for my home cooking.

SPEAKER_06

It just adds extra flavor to you. Yeah. That's a little again. Professionals say it adds like a depth of flavor. Is what it is. Like a more of a mouthfeel.

SPEAKER_02

Tough stone?

SPEAKER_01

Toughy stone. We use if we buy it, it's normally at Academy when we get it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, this is like the professional barbecue uh rub. Nice seasoning. Nice. Her dad put us on to it.

SPEAKER_01

It's like $13 a bottle, and we used it almost on almost everything when we were using it because it it's just that good.

SPEAKER_06

What's it called? Tuffy Stone?

SPEAKER_01

Tuffy Stone Big Umami.

SPEAKER_02

Tuffy Stone Bugumami. And that did have multiple seasonings, has multiple flavors. I think it's it's that's the guy's name, last name, I think.

SPEAKER_06

Gasa Umami is a great name. For a Mexican Asian blend.

SPEAKER_02

It's literally what it is.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's a great name. It's it's yeah. That's good. Good for them.

SPEAKER_02

Mexican Asian fusion.

SPEAKER_06

Were they busy when y'all went to go pick it up? Were they?

SPEAKER_02

There were people already eating there inside, and then there are people that came in behind us. Nice. And so yeah. And then uh we were part of the first I think it was the first 100 people, I don't remember. Hell yeah. And we got I I think I told you we kept those. Oh, yeah. We kept we kept the coasters. I got the stickers. Yeah, coaster. Yeah, coozie's my bad. You got the sticker though. Yeah, you got the sticker.

SPEAKER_06

I gotta figure out what to do with that thing. But we gotta do something for with the podcast. We gotta like start collecting stickers. Just on the fucking wall. Who cares? Fuck this place.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'd like to stick to it.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe we can grab buy like a big whiteboard.

SPEAKER_06

We do have to have a sticker or whiteboard. We're gonna have to have something in here to commemorate, like things we talk about or try or something.

SPEAKER_02

That'll be good. And that I okay, so I met this guy at PR uh at Southern Star over like five years ago. He started doing barbecue and then he went into tacos. And he actually has a food truck at uh the table. You know the table in Conroe? No. The table at Madley? No.

SPEAKER_01

It's over there. Um I feel like I've heard of that. It's right off 105, right before you hit 75 around the downtown area.

SPEAKER_02

Next to that Sonic.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So like before you get to the Sonic, it's kind of hidden right there.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Anyways, uh it he's got a food truck called The Fix by PR. Yeah. Um, so he's I don't know how long to be honest, I don't I'm I think he's keeping both. I think he's doing both. Jeez. He has people working for him, obviously. Yeah. Um so like that dude's come up from the beginning. Um, there was a party that I had at the at the Southern Star House. Um, he charged me only $40 for a whole brisket. Damn. It's a barbecue whole brisket.

unknown

Damn.

SPEAKER_02

And this was during the beginning of his like success. Hell yeah. And I still think about it to this day because I was a really good like he knew what he was doing when he was making his food. Yeah, shout out to that guy when it came to that.

SPEAKER_04

That's cool.

SPEAKER_02

And then he started making tacos, and then again, he knows what he's doing. That shit flavored that flavor.

SPEAKER_04

He seemed how old is he?

SPEAKER_02

He's uh he's around my age. Yeah, I was gonna say he's like a younger dude. Yeah, I think he's like in his you know, like early 30s. Nice mid 30s, whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Do you remember what party that was at that house?

SPEAKER_02

It was one of my birthday parties. I don't remember exactly. I I know you and I already were talking.

SPEAKER_01

That short. That was probably the first birthday party you invited me to where I worked all day and then still ended up going home, walking Chloe, and coming to uh to hang out with you.

SPEAKER_02

That's the one yeah, that's the one where you found Emily on the floor when you walked out.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, jeez. I I I hated her from the start, and she was just over-dramatic. And I don't do over-dramatic people.

SPEAKER_04

On the podcast, on the podcast.

SPEAKER_01

Anywho.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just saying.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's that's just the way that yeah, it's good.

SPEAKER_02

They don't listen. Yeah, they don't listen. It'd be cool if they do actually. Shout out. Fuck you. JK, JK, JK. Uh yeah. So yeah, he's come, he's come up. And I'm really happy for him because he his flavor, his uh his food speaks for itself. Um, and it always has. Yeah, it was good. It always has. Um, so I'm really happy for him. And he had his little sister helping him too. And I remember her too. So it's pretty cool seeing people like get their dream.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's awesome.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That's really cool. What is the fix at? What kind of food is that? So his is that's mainly tacos. I think he does burgers. Okay. And um I guess that the S, I think. Stuff like that. Mexican Mexican food.

SPEAKER_06

Hell yeah. Shout out PR.

SPEAKER_02

What does PR stand for something or is it just so his his yeah, I think this is uh this is uh his name's Peter Hedes. Peter? His first name is Peter Hedes.

SPEAKER_03

Peter Hedes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah Hell yeah. P-R-A-J-E-D I S. Shout out. Peter Hedes. Peter Hades. Yeah. Hell yeah. I never forgot it. When he told me, I was like, where is that? That's my name. What the fuck? Peter Hades. I've never heard of that. That's cool.

SPEAKER_01

It was kind of cool when we uh when we walked in, he actually recognized us. He he remembered us, and that that that was kind of cool.

SPEAKER_02

That's good. Yeah, we're gonna yeah, we I think I told you we took a selfie with them. Yeah. And uh the whole crew got in. Yeah, it'd be great. So you'll you guys will see it on uh Royal Royal Street Sessions podcast. Yep. Instagram.

SPEAKER_06

Yep, whenever this one do you I'm gonna make those whenever they come out on like the release day. Yeah, yeah, that'll be good. Um, probably the night of the release. No, I'll probably do the night before the release. Tomorrow's episode, boom, boom, boom. This is what we did.

SPEAKER_01

This is what we post it Tuesday night, and then it comes out Wednesday at eight.

SPEAKER_05

Gotta get that boom, boom, pound. Bitches jacking my staff. There goes the squirrel train. I fucked up.

SPEAKER_06

Boy, put me onto the fucking black eye peas, dog. Um shout out, PR. Shout out, PR. That was good. Um, are you I got one more thing I wanted to bring up.

SPEAKER_02

Fuck Caitlin Armstrong.

SPEAKER_06

Is that her last name right? Yeah, I couldn't remember it earlier. Yeah. Um, I don't want to bring this up until we're are we done talking about food and murders. Just say whatever you want to say, bro. I can't I don't have a good segue into it. The marathon record was broken. I wanted to talk about it because I think it's insane. It was? Yeah. Like uh running or biking? Yeah, the running marathon by you guessed it, a Kenyan. Those guys are so fast. It's insane. I guessed it. All right.

SPEAKER_01

They got a run from like the wild animals.

SPEAKER_06

True. From the tigers and the lions and the bears. Oh my. There it is. All right. London 2026 marathon. Sebastian, I'm not gonna, I don't know how to pronounce his last name. It's S-A-W-E. Sorry? Saw? He's the first ever guy in a competitive marathon to break two hours. That's batshit. Let me break that down for you. Say that again. Two hours. Under two hours for a marathon. A marathon is 26.2 miles. Right. Jesus. That means for 26 miles straight, this guy ran at a four minute and 33 second mile tank. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_01

Jesus fucking Christ. Unbelievable. I can't even run one mile in that. No, nowhere close.

SPEAKER_06

Not even Josh can. No. No, my fastest. Not even the runner. My fastest mile since I've like, you know, timed my like whatever, my my adult life or whatever, is like 620. I don't know. I'd have to bring it up on straw, but it's like 628, 630. So six minutes and like six and a half minutes. This guy's running two minutes faster than that for 26 miles. He ran a full marathon in like a time well under what I ran my half marathons in. That's fucking crazy, bro. These guys are unbelievably fast.

SPEAKER_02

Kenyans, huh?

SPEAKER_06

They can they it's all Kenyans. The top guys are all Kenyans. Did you see him both Kenyan? No, he's Jamaican. That's sprinting. That's different. These guys are built different. Oh, that's different. Kenyans are distance runners. I don't know what it is. A lot of people on Reddit speculating that they use PEDs. I don't give a fuck, dude. Shoot yourself up with everything. I want to see you run a three-minute mile. I want to see all of it. I want you to just juice as much as you can. These guys weigh like 110 fucking pounds and they just sprint for 26 fucking miles. It's insane. You know the four-minute mile wasn't even like a thing until I'm gonna fuck it up. Probably like the 80s, 70s, 80s. They thought it was physically impossible. Then some white dude from London broke it. Turns out people have been doing that all over the fucking place, but then this guy got popular and everyone's like, oh no, we've been doing that over here. And now everyone, and now there's like high schoolers running under five minutes for a fucking mile. But now they're running that fucking pace for marathons, dude. That's crazy. Wow.

SPEAKER_05

That's an un you know how much you have to fucking train.

SPEAKER_06

You the dude, their VO2, like their cardiovascular system and their muscular system, that's absurd. I don't even know how it's possible. It's hard to move that. My full sprint is pro like my full all out, like you saw me running the other day, like full sprinting by my mailbox. That's like a hundred percent max effort. That's the pace I'm running. Those guys are doing it for 26 miles, bro. For two hours straight. Us driving to Austin, they're sprinting the entire time.

SPEAKER_02

That's fucking crazy, dude. When you put it that way, it's insane.

SPEAKER_05

It makes no sense how they can do it. And they don't look tired. You have to watch the videos. It's fucking crazy.

SPEAKER_06

They don't look like they're exasperated, like they're fine. They're just fucking booking it and they look fine. They look like they're jogging. I would die in like the first dude. 10 minutes if that? I don't know. The their heart rate, their breathing, it's all it's such a science. Those guys are fucking incredible.

SPEAKER_01

When did you say you thought the first four-minute mile was like, I guess, recorded?

SPEAKER_06

Hold on, yeah. I'm gonna guess 1972.

SPEAKER_01

Um, 1954. Damn, that's kind of close.

SPEAKER_02

Jesus, they've been doing it way before.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, but I mean that's crazy. By a 25-year-old. Yeah, in London, right?

SPEAKER_01

Uh Oxford University. So yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, one of those fucking England psalms. Yeah. Crazy though. Just fucking nuts. But that was also, you know, we didn't record a lot back then.

SPEAKER_02

That's a coincidence. Mariah was 25.

SPEAKER_06

She was. Was that a coincidence? Oh, because of him. Yeah. Hell yeah. Full circle. And we made it, guys. Anyways, yeah. I just wanted to give a shout-out to that guy, Sebastian Sao. Sawe. S A W E. I don't know. Is Saway? What do you think? Sawe? S A W E Sawe. Saway? Say Sao? I don't know. Shout out to him. First ever competitive. There's been under two hour marathons, but it's been like uh one guy did, I think Kipchogi R I P did it in under two hours, but it was an event made for him to break the two-hour mark. Like it was a track specified for him to have the best conditions possible. They had a pace car in front of them. That way he knew exactly how fast to run. Because it's a whole different art when you're in a fucking competitive race. And this is the first guy to do it in a competitive race. Holy crazy, bro. 26 miles. Point two. 26.2 miles for four minutes and 33-minute mile pace. That's unbelievable.

SPEAKER_02

You blew my mind when he said it's like us driving to Austin.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, a two-hour road trip. There's a dude sprinting the entire time. Just sprinting and being fine. And then doing it again two months later at a different event and winning. I mean, that's a crazy talent. That's insane, man.

SPEAKER_01

Do you have an idea on how old he is?

SPEAKER_06

The guy that just broke it? Yeah. I think I read it. Is he 33?

SPEAKER_01

31.

SPEAKER_06

31. Yeah. It's crazy. Kipchogee. Look up Kipchogee. He died way too young. I forget of what. It might have been COVID. He was one of those first ones that was like breaking some records and shit. And he was a he was a real young buck from Kenya that was setting the world on fire. The marathon world.

SPEAKER_01

He was 41. Kipchogee? Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_06

Oh fuck. Never mind. He had been around for a minute, I guess, because I remember him breaking some records when he was young. Or reading about it, obviously. I'm younger, but yeah, Kipchogee was a he was a monster also. What did he die of? Was it just like cardiac arrest or was it COVID?

SPEAKER_01

Give chat GP Bree just a minute.

SPEAKER_02

I think my mile when P when I did it, it was like 14 minutes.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. My like whenever I whenever people get into running and they tell me, like, oh, I'm worried about like my mile time and stuff, dude. If you're hitting like a 12-13 minute mile, that's fine. That's like a really slow jog that you can like maintain your breathing fine. As like an adult who's trying to get into running for the first like month or two, just fucking, yeah, it's a very slow. I'm wondering now.

SPEAKER_01

That's about what I ran when I was in high school in ROTC where I had to work out. Couldn't get any faster than that. But I also, as you said, kind of more paced myself. Yeah. Um, my legs would start to give out, and then my lungs would start to hurt. So definitely not a runner.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I was never a runner when I was young. When then you just it's like anything else, just practice. When you go, huh? You can just get better at anything you want to. It's pretty sick. Life rules, and then fucking someone shoots you in the face.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not gonna lie, I was gonna say something like that.

SPEAKER_06

Life rules, and then some jealous bitch fucking kills you.

SPEAKER_02

Literally jealous ass motherfucking. That sucks.

SPEAKER_01

You said Kipchogi's dead.

SPEAKER_05

Is he not dead?

SPEAKER_01

He's not dead. What the fuck am I thinking about? Um Koboyashi. A world record holder by the name of Calvin Kiptub. Wait, he's still alive. Kip Tum.

SPEAKER_06

Kipt, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He died in 2024 due to a car accident.

SPEAKER_06

That's what it was. He was the one that was young, right? He was like 26. Yeah, that's who I'm thinking of. Sorry. Kipchogee's just the he's the goat. I think it's Kipum. Kiptum, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Kenyan, also, right?

SPEAKER_02

You weren't far off.

SPEAKER_06

They're all, yeah, they're all all the marathon guys are Kenyan. Those guys are great.

SPEAKER_02

That's cool, man.

SPEAKER_06

I wonder what it is about that. Yeah, I don't know. That's something in that fucking region of Africa, man. It's they're just fucking build different.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe we can record record while we're running. We should. In my dreams.

SPEAKER_06

We could do it. Put it like a lapel mic on.

SPEAKER_02

We can hit like a phone. Well, you train a little bit. We'd use our phones.

SPEAKER_06

We could train a little bit. You train for like a month.

SPEAKER_02

Why'd I say that?

SPEAKER_06

I I talk to my friends sometimes when I'm on the phone call. I'll make phone calls when I'm but like a slow run. You can kind of like I'm not gonna talk a lot, obviously, but like if we're talking, like if me and my buddy are talking, I go, hey, I'm gonna start my run. I'm not gonna be talking as much, but I'll still like respond and talk to them and stuff. And then once I start getting tired, I'll be like, all right, I gotta go. You know, that's like a couple miles in.

SPEAKER_02

You know, a lot of breweries do run clubs, yeah. Like the one here in uh downtown Congo for sure does one.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I've been slacking on the running lately. It's just work's been kicking my ass. That's my excuse of the day.

SPEAKER_02

So I mean, I mean, that happens. Work's work making.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it happens. Work you gotta work. I got a killer workout in this morning. My shoulders on fucking fire right now. Not in a good way. I'm getting old. It's fucking it's bad. I'm tore the up. I'm tore the fuck up.

SPEAKER_01

I'm realizing how old I'm getting as October gets older.

SPEAKER_06

Shout out, October boy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we getting him on. Eventually, he said he he'd he'd like to come on.

SPEAKER_06

Give me some October in here, man.

SPEAKER_01

Because he uh he turns 20 this year, and that makes me feel old considering I'm a decade older than him.

SPEAKER_06

That's so young. My brother's 14.

SPEAKER_01

That's even younger. Jesus.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I know I got Angel in the fucking show. Bro, it's not my fault. I'm so popular. I'm just kidding, it's my sister.

SPEAKER_02

You do pop off, dude.

SPEAKER_06

Shout out to you. That's all I have for the look. Look it says podcast marathon. I wrote all this stuff down. I'm trying to do better. I'm gonna take notes. I'm gonna use this thing more. I gotta use it for work also coming up, but I'll I'm gonna get another one.

SPEAKER_02

I think I like what we did today. I think introducing the segment uh where we watch a movie or anything, where we're all together, and then you know, actually we're basically what we what we did was tell this the whole story, the whole thing, without for telling people to watch it. Would tell them yeah. I mean, we basically just said it, everything would happen, honestly. And then gave our opinions.

SPEAKER_06

If I'm being completely honest, I watch a lot of these docs, and this is nothing against the Wilsons or their family or whoever the fuck. You could skip this one. It ain't that great. It's just it's another fucking murder doc. There was nothing special.

SPEAKER_02

It really was, it really was. I I think the the main special part about her was the fact that she was so young and that she was you don't really get many bice cyclist championship winners. Yeah, true. She was big in that world.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that is crazy. I guess that is yeah, it's pretty there's just there's some we've seen a lot of documentaries, and there's some fucking crazy stories. This one was just it was a little bit more. Sure, it was huge for the freaking rider community. Sure, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The bike riding community. I know that for sure. Sorry, I'm trying to fix myself.

SPEAKER_01

I get where you're coming from, Josh. So, like a lot of the documentaries I like, if they're crime, if they're true crime, I kind of lean towards the ones where like there's a whole long drawn out, like finding out who the murderer actually is. There's like four people that it could be. There's all that yeah, it's ruling out like why this person can't do it. Exactly. Um, but this one it I agree. It it was a it was a good story, but as far as a documentary, it it could have been yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, it was pretty cut and dry from the jump. But that's also why it was a 90-minute documentary, it wasn't like a three-part series. Thank God they didn't try to drag something like that out because we've watched some of those too, where it's three or four parts, and by episode two, you're like, bro, what the fuck are we doing? You're interviewing people for no reason.

SPEAKER_01

At this point, like y'all know who the killer is. Yeah, some of those get into it.

SPEAKER_06

But no, this one was good. If you want like a quick 90-minute doc. This is like a good intro doc. If you're like, I don't know about murder ones, this is a good little starter one. That's a good point.

SPEAKER_02

That is a good point.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, this is like a good, like, I don't want to watch like a four-hour show about murder. It was like, all right, well, throw this one on. It's it's a fun one, I guess. For 90 minutes to be like, damn, fuck that lady. That sucks.

SPEAKER_01

Cold hearted.

SPEAKER_06

Because how how soon did we find out? We pretty much found out immediately once they brought her up that it was her. They didn't even try to be like, we don't know of it. They were like, Oh, it's her. Her Jeep was there, we have her, she's on the run. By like 35 minutes into the documentary, 40 minutes in, they were like, She's on the run. Yeah, she's on the run. It's definitely her. We're chasing her. So it wasn't like this big fucking reveal at the end or anything. It was just like, oh, yep.

SPEAKER_02

That would have been that would have been cool too, though. Big reveal.

SPEAKER_06

There's some good ones, man. There's some good murder docs out there.

SPEAKER_02

We just saw uh oh, it's Dave. The show Dave from Lil Dicky. Like uh where he brings out Gata. It's uh I think it's season two, the last episode of the season. His friend Gata, his hype man. Yeah, the whole time has been trying to build his own rap career. And Dave didn't know how hard he was trying. All he was like was getting at him was for scamming his fans for like trying to get money, whatever, whatever. And then he walks in and or uh during all this whole thing of the show, uh that night, Lil Dickie is gonna perform at the VMA's and um at towards the end he saw he sees the fact that he sees his uh Gata's studio in the closet and he starts thinking like, Holy crap, like you've been working for your moment, whatever, whatever, and I already got my moment, so I know exactly what you're feeling. I know exactly what you're going through. So at the very end, at the very end, they twisted it up and he brought Gata out onto the VMA's. This is after they like like he went up to him and Gata like went off. Like they pissed at him, but then they did a switch up on us, and like I looked at her and I started crying. I was like, holy shit, I was like, look at this. I was like, that is good writing right there.

SPEAKER_06

Is Dave he plays little Dickie in the show? Yes, he plays his own person. I thought it was like a just a standalone separate like sitcom that he was just an actor in.

SPEAKER_02

So he plays himself and he's depicting uh depictions of what he went through to get to it where he is. Oh, that's cool, and how he helped his friends get on.

SPEAKER_06

Andrew Santino's in that show, right?

SPEAKER_02

I love Andrew Santino, yes. He's great. He plays his manager, he's very funny.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. I like him.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't know about him until starting Dave, and now I'm like, okay, he's he's pretty funny. And then we saw um a comedy uh thing on YouTube. I cannot remember. Bad friends? No. Um, although we did watch one of those. Yeah, I wanted to show her Bad Friends like Grace. It was a different one um where he was just being interviewed on a d an odd a podcast or something. Um I can't remember who the other person was, but that's when uh some of his answers were kind of like smart ass. I was like, Oh, I like him.

SPEAKER_04

I can't remember what who we're watching in there, but I know what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_06

I know there's a bunch of clips of him on Rick Glassman's show right now going around. He's like a he's another comedian. Curly hair, glasses. Okay. They sit on a car like a side from each other.

SPEAKER_02

He like does this.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. It's the Take Your Shoes Off podcast. He's very funny.

SPEAKER_02

He's great. I'm surprised I could do that. That'll smooth. And then he looks like he'll look at people like that when he's talking like that. Yeah. What? Huh? What? Anyways.

SPEAKER_06

Who do you think is gonna be the first person we interview on here?

SPEAKER_04

That is a good question.

SPEAKER_02

Your mom?

SPEAKER_04

I'm just kidding. I'm over it. Sorry. I'm over it, man. That kind of shit. That kind of shit right there, dude.

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

I really don't know. Whether it's October, whether it's Luxelite, whether it's what? Whether it's uh who's Luxolite?

SPEAKER_01

Luxolite's the neighbor he was telling you about that lives like right down the street.

SPEAKER_06

The CEO? Yeah. His name's Luxolite? Oh. A stripper?

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's good. That's good. Do you want to go stripper on here? Is that what you're saying?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, totally. Your idea, man. Your idea.

SPEAKER_02

No. Luxolite. Luxolite electrical company.

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Or uh even Winnie. Winston Cook's a good one. Dolphin.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, is that yeah, the handsome boy. Let's get Winston in here, dude. I can try. That boy's chill as fuck.

SPEAKER_02

If you really want to, I can get him in here for our next recording, which is episode 10. I'd love that. When we start doing video.

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah. Yeah, we gotta have a hot guy on for the first video on.

SPEAKER_02

Where's he gonna sit though?

SPEAKER_06

On my lap. Hey guys, laugh more.

SPEAKER_02

Oh bro, you guys could talk about fitness. Oh, that time.

SPEAKER_06

Is he a fitness guy?

SPEAKER_02

He's been working out for a minute now and he's fucking got gains. He post- I he posted a picture. I was like, holy shit, dude. Let me see it. I'm like, who the fuck is you? No, he's wearing this. He's wearing cutoff sir godson, dude. But he covered the weekend. It was a story picture, so it went away.

SPEAKER_06

Oh gotcha, gotcha. Cover him. He's been he's been killing it, huh?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, he's been doing it for a while too. Like nice. And like it shows. Good.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I was I was very happy for him. Yeah, let's see if he wants to come in. It doesn't have to be next week, but yeah, I'd like to get someone in here. Tristan wants to come on, also.

SPEAKER_06

We got to get him in here at some point.

SPEAKER_02

He would probably be the easiest one to get in here, I think. Yeah, but fuck him. You know? First place. I don't want to give him the first guest. I have to be prepared for that, though.

SPEAKER_01

We can't give him the first guest. We can't give him that leverage.

SPEAKER_06

You can't. You can't. He was already the first phone call. He can't be the first guest. Yeah, can't do it. We'll take it in right. We'll get I told him he's asked me, I was like, bro, we'll get you in like fucking weeks, 10 more weeks or something. Like I gotta fucking plan for it, man. Yeah, no, I don't know. You don't even follow the Instagram page, though he's a fucking dickhead. Fuck him.

SPEAKER_01

So he's our first call. He's your work bestie. He's literally my bestie. Brother-in-law, and like still doesn't listen to the podcast. What the fuck? He listens. He just doesn't follow the page. How dare he? He sucks.

SPEAKER_02

What's his Instagram page? Actually, don't say it. No, fuck him. Fuck him. Don't say that.

SPEAKER_01

Don't give him the send him death threats. Don't do it.

SPEAKER_06

Don't do that. I guess we can't legally say that, huh? This is good, man. I like the review and then the following.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, today was cool. That was fun. I think today was cool. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I really liked uh it just happened to be a uh a coincidence that that restaurant happened to be opening. But Bree thought B B Bree threw that out that idea, and that was I thought that was really a good idea. Yeah. The fact that we should all watch something new while we eat completely brand new food.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, maybe we'll think of some more stuff.

SPEAKER_02

We could do that with a new uh actually I don't know. Got the new Chewies. Yeah, Chewies. I love Chewies. It's just Chewies, but fuck it. Why not?

SPEAKER_06

Let's just record at Chewy's. Let's do a mukbang in the fucking Chewies. Chewy's rules. It's so good. I don't know. That's where we had our last word Christmas party. It's Chewies.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Shout out, shout out Chewies off 242.

SPEAKER_02

They're making one here in Willis.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's exciting. They're making way too much stuff in Willis. It's gonna be a fucking shit show over there.

SPEAKER_01

Way too much, way too quickly. And the cellular data, like the so bad. I don't have I can't talk in Willis. You get to like 75 and 1097, you lose like half your service.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, my like Spotify will cut out. Like there's no you have no service.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it requires internet. It's just like uh I'm not gonna work.

SPEAKER_06

I used to when I would DoorDash in Uber, I would take me to Willis, and then I would drop off someone, and then I'd go to refine, and I couldn't get service, I'd have to drive out of Willis to fucking to like refresh my page. So then I had to stop taking rides to and from Willis. It's fucking crazy. Or like door dashing from anywhere in Willis because once you my bad, once you set like there's certain steps in the process, right? So like you accept the order, you pick up the order, you deliver the order. Every time you click one of those, it has to be refreshed. So you all right, I'm in Conroe, I accept the order for the Willis McDonald's. Boom, I go there, I pick it up, I press it, and then it won't fucking work. So I have to drive away until I get service. That's so annoying, yeah. And not knowing where I'm going. Might as well get a Starlink. It's so shitty. Yeah, Willis sucks. And they're building, they're a whole new strip center. We're gonna get a gigantic Lowe's, which I'm pumped about. But is it that? Is it it's gonna be a lows? That's huge. I heard the biggest lows in North America is gonna be in Willis, Texas. Holy shit. But that sounds like some fucking bullshit. We also know a guy.

SPEAKER_01

We know a guy who we've mentioned who is a manager and is going to try to go for this location.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, really? Mm-hmm. At Lowe's?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm. Who's this?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, it's you're talking about Vinny?

SPEAKER_01

Zuko.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, he works at Lowe's? Yeah, he's got his own store. He's the one that he actually runs a college park one. Right on one with Really? Yeah. I've been there.

SPEAKER_06

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He's got a bunch of tats. He doesn't wrestle anymore? Uh he retired. I want to get him in here too.

SPEAKER_04

Too old.

SPEAKER_06

How old is he? 40s? Yeah. Yeah. For wrestlers.

SPEAKER_02

Has he been wrestling since he was young? Uh I think at least probably late 20s. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

You think it's too late for me to get into wrestling?

SPEAKER_02

No. Alright, I'm gonna do it. I think it just depends how much patience you have.

SPEAKER_06

Oh well.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck.

SPEAKER_04

Training's a big part. Yeah. Did he do you know what wrestling school he trained at? Uh Texas All-Star Wrestling. Okay. The one in Cyprus?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. How do you know that? I'm a wrestling body. You just know wrestling.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I like wrestling, man. The VFW. Yeah. Yeah. No, we'll get him in. I want to get it. That'd be cool if he's down to talk wrestling. I would love to talk wrestling.

SPEAKER_02

He's he's a very he's a good one too, actually.

SPEAKER_06

Do you think he'd want to be in person?

SPEAKER_02

Most likely. I think he misses talking in front of a mic.

SPEAKER_06

Fucking get him in. He likes to make contact.

SPEAKER_01

It's been two podcasts now that he's been on. And I will let me rephrase that. He's been a part of.

SPEAKER_02

So he likes it.

SPEAKER_04

Get him in here, man.

SPEAKER_02

He's been asking to hang out with us for a while now. Oh hell yeah. But he also wants to he wants us to get to some video. Him and his girl ride together. Nice. And he wants us to I'll be having the camera on him while Bree's driving and we'll be driving simultaneous. Yeah, yeah. He just wants a clip of that, like to have for himself.

SPEAKER_06

Do a little videography work.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. And I low-key want to do it. It's just haven't found the right time.

SPEAKER_06

Did you say we're doing video on the next episode?

SPEAKER_02

Episode 10.

SPEAKER_04

Damn. Scary.

SPEAKER_02

You never got it? I am. You are? Not because of what I look like, just because of how it's gonna work. How I'm gonna do it. How are we gonna set it up? Where exactly it's gotta Yeah, good call. I gotta that's the part I'm worried about.

SPEAKER_04

Is how to figure it out.

SPEAKER_06

Would you rather the first video one be just us and not have a guess?

SPEAKER_04

We don't have to try to get a guess. No, I don't want to guess for the tent. No, no, no, okay. No, we don't need a guest next week.

SPEAKER_02

I'm down whenever. I just want to do recording by episode 10 because I think I've been saying that for a while now.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. Winston, and then you say who else?

SPEAKER_01

Sir Dolphin.

SPEAKER_06

Dolphin, Zuko, October, Luxolite, Luxolite, Kristen. So we got six guests lined up. Hopefully. Not lined up, but like potential.

SPEAKER_04

Potential.

SPEAKER_06

That'd be cool.

SPEAKER_04

I think they'd do it. Why not? I think they would. Fuck it, right?

SPEAKER_02

And I think the church if we really needed to, uh I think the church would let me borrow a room for a couple hours. Oh, really? For us to record. Oh, that'd be dope. Yeah. If we really need yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I'd like to do an episode in a church. That feels safe.

SPEAKER_02

Not in the church, fool. Well, never mind. I said I what? I guess I I said that wrong. I meant the church as far as the parish, as far as the office buildings.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Uh I guess.

SPEAKER_06

The life center.

SPEAKER_02

The parish life center.

SPEAKER_06

I want to do it at the altar. Yeah, no. I assumed it wasn't like the main room, but I thought it'd be it's not in the church. No. It's across the street in a different building.

SPEAKER_04

That doesn't feel that safe. It's a prayer room. They're all prayer rooms.

SPEAKER_06

Getting better. Getting better. Are they like separate buildings, like standalone buildings? Uh yeah. Like those uh like the bad kid buildings in school. Oh, you're talking about no. What are those called? Like the portable buildings?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they're called portable buildings. Is it those?

SPEAKER_01

No, it's it's a whole building.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's an actual building. Oh. Alright, guys. I feel bullied right now.

SPEAKER_02

It's an old building that used to be a medical, uh used to be a medical, a little space, urgent center. Oh, okay. It turned it into offices. Nice. Yeah. Sorry.

SPEAKER_06

I did lead you on to think on the altar. No, I didn't think it was like in the fucking, what's that called? The cathedral? No, what's it called when you're like the actual building? The church? The sanctuary? Sanctuary. Yeah. I didn't think it was like there, there. You got the same, the main adjacent, maybe in the cry room. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

They call it cry room? I know.

SPEAKER_04

Hey, I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, did you have my my boss is from Louisiana, so it sounds like he says choir room. That's funny. So I was like, are you saying cor choir or cry? Because you say both, and we have both. Yeah, we gotta talk more about the UFO stuff on the next episode. We outside tonight. That's what they're saying right now. UFOs? Yeah. Sick. Shout out Club Godzilla. Oh, is that him? Yeah. All right. I said that at the beginning. The We Outside tonight? Yes. Oh. See, it's been an hour and 17 already. So I guess. It's been a long day, alright. You forgot it. We've been hanging out for a while. It's been a minute.

SPEAKER_04

What was the game? It's been a while. It's been a while. Oh, I went to the fucking Kid Rock show. I didn't tell you. I didn't talk to you about Kid Rock. So you did you I think he talked about it on episode nine.

SPEAKER_02

It was last weekend.

SPEAKER_01

I don't. I was gonna say, I don't think he told us. We went the day after. He might have told us that they were going.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, but no, you didn't tell us like it was last Saturday.

SPEAKER_06

We went the day after we recorded. You didn't see any asterisk. Oh, you're right. Kid Rock, dude. Unbelievable. I thought you were gonna say he sucked. Dude, I thought he was gonna. I've seen clips of him sucking lately. Unbelievable. Like one of the best shows I've ever seen. He tore the fucking house down, dude. That guy has a voice. I didn't know that. I didn't know he had like a good singing voice. That dude can fucking wail.

SPEAKER_01

You didn't know that?

SPEAKER_06

Not really. I mean, I know like the Cheryl Crow song and all that. He's got like a decent voice, but he's like 60. And he, dude, he was jumping around and he just singing his little heart out. What the fuck was I looking up?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. Something probably kept saying.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, uh Club Godzilla. Yes. I gotta see this guy.

SPEAKER_02

Give me a please give me a kid rock song.

SPEAKER_06

Ba with the bob the bang to bang.

SPEAKER_02

Diggy diggie diggy said the buggy said about jumping. We do?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, we do.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out, Chibi Brie. Because I didn't buy that. No, you did not.

SPEAKER_01

I had that you I had that before you.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't buy that. Uh no, there's the picture with Cheryl Crow. I put your picture away. That's that's a really good thing. My brain's earlier kept going. He covered it. We were talking about uh David Allan Coe. He covered the main song, Never Call Me by My Name. Nice, great. He covered a lot of songs. Nice, covered way too many songs. Other kid. Oh, all summer long. Singing sweet home Alabama.

SPEAKER_05

Awesome. No, all right.

SPEAKER_06

Nailed that one. No, I know it. I know it.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say you're you're hitting me a thousand percent.

SPEAKER_06

He's got some big cowboy.

SPEAKER_01

American woman.

SPEAKER_06

There you go. That's Lenny Kravitz. I know. Have you seen the Lenny Krabbits? My brain keeps going too. Have you seen the Lenny Kravitz video with him singing on stage? And he's wearing these tight ass leather jeans and he goes to wail and hit a deep squat and his fucking dick and nuts pop out the bottom of his pants, dude. No, it's so funny. His shit rips right up the gooch and his dick and balls just start flailing on the stage. That's funny.

SPEAKER_04

You would you would have that celebrity name?

SPEAKER_06

I've seen it all, man. I've seen it all.

SPEAKER_01

That's how he knows about Saltburn without actually watching. Yeah, never watched it.

SPEAKER_06

But I've seen all the scenes. You know Barry's dick, though. I know that dick. I've seen all the scenes. And it's not just dudes, guys. Don't worry, I look at naked chicks too. Oh, okay, cool. Because I had no idea.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. It's been a lot about like nicely dudes.

SPEAKER_06

We just talk about dudes a lot.

SPEAKER_01

That's on y'all.

SPEAKER_06

I don't talk about chicks too much. Try to keep it chill with the chicks, you know?

SPEAKER_02

Chill with the chicks, the chance to tan, chicken, chicken, and some chicken con the boogie.

SPEAKER_06

That's good. There's some insane nude leaks out there of some very big celebrities. It's pretty crazy. Oh, okay. Do you know? All right. Just to name a couple. There's uh y'all know Aubrey Plaza? Yes. Oh, really? Ooh, really? Dude, listen to me when I tell you this.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, hag?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, dude. That's a Twitter name. There's there's a leak of her that's I won't even look at it. I feel so bad. It's out there. It's an insane video. It's her cocked up on the sink under going to town. It's crazy, bro.

SPEAKER_02

How do people find that?

SPEAKER_01

My question isn't how do people find that? My question is, why is this being put out there? Like, how is it even out there?

SPEAKER_06

Uh the way you asked, but that was funny. I thought I'd how would someone even fucking like see that? Um, no, I don't know how it gets leaked. That's crazy. That one dude got arrested. Do y'all know about the Fappening?

SPEAKER_05

Do y'all know anything about this fucking world? No.

SPEAKER_06

All right, the Fappening happened in 2014. It was a dude that hacked all these celebrities' iClouds. That was the big one. Like Jennifer Lawrence, remember all that? Jennifer Lawrence's butthole, she's come on her face and all that.

SPEAKER_02

I remember them talking about it, but I never actually saw photos of buttholes. Anyways, just one butthole.

SPEAKER_06

We lived differently. Also, Justin Verlander's penis. Um, because they dated for a while. Also, the gym I used to train jujitsu at Elite MMA off Westheimer in Houston. Shout out, my coach, Big Country, uh, gave Kate Upton private lessons. She, whenever she lived here, because Justin Verlander was pitching for the Astros. She trained jujitsu there. Um, never met her though. Nice. Um, so the Fappening happened. That guy's in prison. He he got sent away, luckily, because he hacked a ton of people's iClouds and stuff. But then, yeah, I don't know. I don't know how the Aubrey Plaza one gets leaked. I think you send it to the wrong person or something, and they just go, hey.

SPEAKER_01

Why are you sending this to anyone?

SPEAKER_04

Ernie. Just Ernie as hell. Do you know about that uh Hantavirus on that crew on that cruise ship?

SPEAKER_02

Let me tell you about this. The people are here in Houston, bro.

SPEAKER_06

I'm listening. All right, I'm finding out about this on Friday. Two people made it? I'm finding out about this on Friday. And I'm listening to a podcast. I'm in the attic. I'm in a bad attic. We've been in there on Thursday and Friday. We're having to hand remove this entire attic because we can't suck it up because there's so much wood debris. So we're just piling it up and swimming in it. I'm listening to a podcast, they're talking about the hantavirus, and they go, Look, it's not that bad. Really? They're like, well, they're like, it's bad, but like it's pretty avoidable as long as you avoid rodent feces. Yeah. Swimming in it. I looked down, I'm listening to it and I'm swimming in it. And I was like, oh no. I'm gonna die.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm gonna die. Oh, you're literally actually working it. You're not gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, I'm they said avoid rodent feces. I'm I'm covered in rodent feces.

SPEAKER_01

Because they can't vacuum out this.

SPEAKER_06

We can't vacuum, so we're bear hugging it into trash bags.

SPEAKER_02

But you are wearing that mask.

SPEAKER_06

I wear a respirator until I can't breathe. Then I pop it off and go, pooh, geez. I try not to pop it off in the attics like that because they're brutal.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, I mean, yeah, I'm I'm fucked. That's trippy when you put it that way. It's fucked. And you know, you know what it is, right, baby? Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_01

I did this is one of the few pieces of news I actually know. I I don't get on uh socials a whole lot as far as news-wise. Um I've noticed even like at the end of the day, he'll mention even a friend of ours posting something. I'm like, I don't think I've really been on Facebook, which I feel is a little odd considering I'm in my late twenties and don't really use like I use social media, yes, but I don't whole really post a whole lot and I don't really scroll through it a whole lot. So it's just there.

SPEAKER_06

It's a bad habit. I just re-downloaded all of them. I had a cleanse for a while.

SPEAKER_01

I play like mind games on my phone instead.

SPEAKER_06

Nice. So hell yeah. What other news is there?

SPEAKER_01

That's why when he said news, he was like, you know about this one?

SPEAKER_06

Bonnie Tyler died. So I think to end the podcast, we should all sing Total Eclipse of the Heart.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, you have to remind me that is. Turn around.

SPEAKER_05

Every now and then I get a little bit lonely in on something, something else.

SPEAKER_04

I didn't know that she died.

SPEAKER_05

Brian dies.

SPEAKER_01

Every now and then I'll fall apart. And I need you now tonight. Haven't there been like snack commercials with that song ever?

SPEAKER_02

Like eating it slow, like yeah, or like something's swallowing, they're about to catch it. Like it's a banger song.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's a great song. But she died. Rest in peace. She also has that one big song from Footloose. Don't remember what it is. Uh I need a hero. That one. You know what I'm talking about? I think you remembered it. That's all that's the only part I remember. You know that song actually. Everyone knows it. It's it's called like a hero or something. I I guess RIP to Bonnie Tyler.

SPEAKER_02

The people running.

SPEAKER_06

I was uh speaking of dancing, I was addicted to whipping in Nay Nang yesterday. I was pissing Amber off. I was whipping so damn much. I was whipping in the Chick-fil-A park or in the in the Freddy's drive-thru.

SPEAKER_02

Suburban and white. A little dicky reference.

SPEAKER_06

I couldn't stop whipping. Every song we start. Watch, I'm gonna do it when we go out there. She's gonna get pissed as fuck that she hates it. No, it was killing me. I couldn't stop. Also, I was rapping Mike Jones in the car, and she looked at she had the audacity to look at me and go, What are you doing with your voice? I was like, bitch, it's my Mike Jones voice.

SPEAKER_05

What the fuck are you asking me about, dog?

SPEAKER_06

Anyways. What is that Mike Jones voice?

SPEAKER_01

Oh it's probably because he's super white.

SPEAKER_06

I was singing uh it was Mike Jones' verse on I'm in love with a stripper by T Payne. He goes, She's every man's dream. She's God's gift to Earth. He says Earth, and that fucking, I love that. Shout out Mike Jones.

SPEAKER_04

I love that. I love that. 281-330-8004. Shout out, happy boy. Hit Mike Jones upon the low.

SPEAKER_06

Hour and a half, huh?

SPEAKER_02

All right, I think we need to end it here. That was a good one. Uh, I think we're gonna do more of the movie. Yeah, like that was good. The food thing. We'll just we'll figure that out. Go figure that out as it as it goes. Uh, but uh, I think today was really good. Thank you guys. Thank you guys so much for listening. Thank you guys for following us on the Instagram. Shout out Josh for finally starting to post.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna get on there, dude. I'm telling you, I don't use my personal Instagram a lot in terms of like using my story, or actually, I haven't made a post on there in like three years. I'm gonna I'm gonna use this one. Like, I'm gonna post on the story. I'm just gonna start fucking on the on the main on the what's it called? The Royal Street ones. I'm just gonna start doing shit on there. Right. Just random shit. I'll post like basketball clips.

SPEAKER_02

No, I need to start making I need to start making audio clips and sending them to you to and just do whatever you gotta do. Yeah, that'd be good. Do your own side thing. Yeah, all right. Um episode nine. Thank you guys again. Thank you, Brie. Thank you, Josh.

SPEAKER_06

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

Shut up. Oh fuck, fuck.

SPEAKER_04

SPEAKER_00
