Sage of Stars
Welcome to Sage of Stars, an astrology podcast about self-understanding, personal growth, and learning how to work consciously with life's experiences.
Astrology is more than prediction. It is a language of meaning, a tool for self-discovery, and a framework for understanding the patterns that shape our lives. Each episode explores astrology not as something that happens to us, but as something that can help us better understand ourselves and make more intentional choices.
Whether you're new to astrology or have studied it for years, you'll find practical insights designed to help you recognize recurring themes, navigate challenges, and make the most of your opportunities for growth. Through discussions of natal charts, planetary cycles, houses, signs, and current astrological influences, we'll explore how astrology can become a powerful tool for self-awareness and transformation.
If you're looking to learn astrology, deepen your understanding of your birth chart, or discover how astrology can support real personal development, this podcast is for you. It is also a companion for students seeking astrology education and astrology classes that emphasize understanding, application, and meaningful change.
Because astrology isn't just about knowing what's coming next.
It's about understanding who you are, why you do what you do, and what you choose to do with that knowledge.

Finding our voice is an important part of gaining self-confidence and self-awareness, but many people find their voice and then feel afraid or unsure of how to use it. Mars in Gemini is a time when motivation aligns with action, and we can feel more initiative for expressing ourselves. Todays talk is about the importance in communication to bridge the gap! #astrology #astrologyclass #sageofstars
We've certainly all heard the phrase finding your voice, right? People who feel disempowered, or just any of us who aren't exactly sure of who we are, the clarity of our being and our identity, and what the voice behind that represents. But what if finding your voice isn't actually the only part in self-expression and our desire to allow our identity to be expressed? What if the challenge is actually in using it, in being able to speak up? I think in counseling, many times I may make suggestions of what someone can say to their girlfriend or their husband or their children. And then it occurred to me many years ago that maybe my words, the things that I might say, well, why don't you say this? Or why don't you ask this person this? Or it occurred to me many years ago that certain people they can't even imagine having those words come out of their mouth. They may feel too confrontational, they may feel too direct, they may feel whatever. It just doesn't seem to fit who they are, which is fine. Me saying that that's the content is often quite helpful for people, but the fact that they can't go from the session and um have a conversation that even has that content was often very telling to me. Most people uh I think already they already know what it is that they think. They certainly know often how they feel, they're just not clear about what it is that they want to say or how to express it. So the difficult part is the speaking. And as Mars enters Gemini, we're reminded that words are actions. So Mars is the planet of action, courage, initiative. Mars is going into Gemini today, it's changing signs. Gemini is the sign of communication, learning, conversation. Learning, especially, I like that part. Teaching is also a part of it. And when Mars goes through Gemini, action will happen through words, through language, through communication, through asking questions, through speaking up, through learning something new, through sharing what it is that we've learned. This is a transit that encourages our participation in dialogue. Certainly doesn't have to be perfect, but you know, one of the bravest things that we can do is start the conversation. So we spend years trying to find our voice. I think if we look inside, we often already know what our voice is. We're just simply hesitant to admit it or to use it. Mars and Gemini is asking us to engage, make the phone call, ask the question, express the idea, say what needs to be said. Not necessarily perfectly. There's always something implied that we're we have a humanity, and our humanity is certainly not perfect, but communicate because we know that that communication is what's going to facilitate greater growth between us and others, or learning is going to communicate or is going to facilitate greater learning. So many times our voice isn't found in silence, in thinking about what is our voice, but in the speaking itself. Gemini is our type of the student, and it could be a wonderful time to read, study, take a class, explore a new perspective, because the more we learn, the more options that we have. Learning doesn't always have to be serious. One of Gemini's greatest gifts is humor. So a good joke could reveal a truth that an argument never could, right? Like it's um it's nice when two people can laugh together. So laughter, I think, opens other doors that sometimes logic cannot possibly do. So as Mars is entering Gemini, it's reminding me that communication is one of the biggest ways that shapes our experience of life. Certainly, communication bridges the gap. We're all separate individuals, and talking and learning about each other is what brings us closer initially. It's through words, it's through questions, it's through our willingness to learn, and definitely through our willingness to speak and to speak up. So I think if there's something that you've been meaning to say, perhaps this is a good moment to do it because we don't find our voice first, we discover it by using it. This is Sage of Stars Podcast, and I will talk with you soon.
