SPEAKER_01

Hello everybody and welcome back to the second part of our series of Meeting the Readers at the Crystal Magic Psychic Center here in Sedona. I'm Emma and today I have with me is Miss Phoenix. Say hi to the world, Phoenix. Um, and today I'm going to be interviewing Phoenix about her modalities, a little bit about herself, just so everybody can kind of get to know all of the readers better. So here we go, my dear. Are you ready for this? Are you ready? I'm ready. All right. So before we really dive in, uh, how are you feeling today? I'm feeling okay. I'm in this period of transformation. So um it's a little up and down if I'm being honest. Okay. Like the honesty. Like the honesty. All right. Um, and what what's the energy for you coming into this conversation? How are you feeling about it? Excited but a little apprehensive. I get it. I get it. I get it. I remember the first time I was in front of a microphone and a camera. It made me kind of nervous. At this, at this point, for how long I've been doing this, it's kind of like second nature to me at this point. So love it, love it. So the first few questions I'm gonna start asking you is gonna be about your path and your journey. Can you share a little bit about your spiritual journey and how did this path first begin for you? Part of my spiritual journey was really learning life's lessons. Okay, and and learning life's lessons, I realized I needed a tool to dig in deeper into my intuition. And so that's when I first started with tarot. So tarot is always for I've been using tarot now for 26 years. Okay. And when I started using tarot, it really opened up a whole nother pathway for me. I love that. Love that. Was there a moment when you realized this was more than just an interest? Like it was more becoming your calling. Yes, there was a moment of that. I feel like my biggest awakening really came after most of my health problems had really started to come in. Okay. And I feel like those health problems really helped to direct me to other modalities. So that's when I started digging into astrology more to try to understand my path and understand why some of the things were happening to me. But on top of that, I also um started moving into law of attraction. And then I also started um doing more of the witchy stuff, right? It all just kind of like went all at one time. Yeah, really thin. And it came at the most perfect time when I really needed it. It always does. It always does. And I love that about spirituality and spirit and energy work all together. Love that. So, who or what were some of your biggest teachers or influences along your way? I would say at the very beginning, my biggest influences were Abraham Hicks, uh, which is all about the law of attraction and how to tap more into the energy and the vibration of what you're trying to manifest. And then another great teacher for me was Yoga Yoga Anda. I'm not even saying his name right, but he was very came from India and me taught over in the United States about how yoga really helps people kind of unite with the inner spirit. And so his teachings inspired me to also add in yoga into my daily practice. Okay. And it made me feel, you know, looking back, part of my background is in world religions. Okay. And so I studied Indian philosophy last year, actually, in college. Interesting. And when I studied it, the teacher said that yoga is called union with God. So I I think I've heard that before. I'm pretty sure I've heard that before in some of the teachings that I've researched myself. Um, so that's very interesting, all of that. What types of challenges did you face early on and how did you move through them? Challenges with my spirituality? I would say probably learning to listen to my intuition without the tools.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's always a big one. Yeah. And being able to grasp exactly um how to use that to help me move forward for my highest self. And I feel like if I hadn't done that and really dug into that, that I wouldn't be as self-aware as I am now. True. What has surprised you most about doing this work professionally? I would have to say what surprised me most is how deep my readings really go, and that I'm able to tap into people's greatest fears and help them overcome those fears. And being able to show them the path that they've been on and why that added to the current turmoil that they're experiencing. And also it in doing that, feeling their turmoil and feeling how anxious about their future that they are, that I was also able to tap into okay, how can they move past the sphere and really grow into their highest self? Right. And so that kind of really surprised me because I I didn't expect that that would be my avenue, would be a transformation for others. I thought it was just my own personal fact. Share share the wealth there pretty much at this point. Yeah, exactly. So this is a favorite question of mine because I've often thought about this this answer. If you can go back and talk to your younger self at the beginning of this journey, what would you say? I would say that everything in life that occurs to you that's bad is really a lesson. A lesson on how you can evolve and how much strength is really within you. And if you do not honor all of that, then you can't grow. You can't evolve. And if I if I was going to go back and tell my younger self to do something that they're not doing, I would say start with astrology. If I could go back, I would say start with astrology because knowing who you are inside and out is the key to really understanding tarot. Right. Agree. I can agree on that. Totally. Um, so now we're gonna go into your specialties on modalities, the the tools that you love to bring forward in your sessions.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so as of right now, where you're at in your career, what modalities do you specialize in right now? Like what can people expect when they have the option to book with you? Well, I am a psychic comedian and I'm also an astrologer, but my main happy place to help people with is really medical astrology and medical intuitive readings. Okay. So for those for that, I always dig into the astrology chart and what is possible over the lifetime of illness that could come in. But I also use nail at P. Hall nutritional research as to what kind of nutrition is also missing. On top of that, I pull cards that I've actually created myself because there's nothing out there like that. There are cards on diseases that are possible that are correlated with astrology. And then I also have a nutritional oracle deck to pull out okay, what is the current health problem that you're really struggling with right now? And what are you missing nutritionally and wise and why? What draws me most to those types of tools for me? Because it really the medical astrology is really interesting because once I get started into the medical astrology and explaining every single house and how it's kind of correlated to different health problems, people start to see their own patterns. Right. So it's really wonderful for that. And that's part of what kind of drew me to that and learning more deeply into astrology to really dig into the medical aspect of it, like the health aspect. And so that's why I use that. The tools that I use, like the tarot deck that I created and the Oracle deck that I created, what really drew me to that is that there needed to be a direct answer when people came and said, okay, what exactly am I going through? And how can I fix it? And I just didn't seem, I it didn't seem to me I tried a bunch of different kinds of decks, and it didn't seem to me that there was anything out there that really connected in that manner.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_01

And so that's why I felt drawn to really make my own cards, and that's what I used. That's awesome. That's awesome. How would you describe your reading style in your own words? Okay. So I always tell people right away that I'm a conduit for transformation for their highest self. Okay. So that they can understand that I'm here for them. I'm here to help them evolve in any way that they're struggling with. And so my reading style is that I'm blunt. Okay. I say the truth. I don't sugarcoat it. Okay. But at the same time, they have their own path that they're following. And I try to honor that path because everyone's on a journey, right? Right. But on top of that, I always give them compassion. Compassion for where they are and to help them find compassion for their for themselves and where they are in that space.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And so I feel like my biggest job in any reading that I do is to make sure that they feel seen, they feel heard, they feel understood. A lot of times clients will cry in my chair. And I will cry with them. That's awesome. Just to help. Yeah. So that they know. And it's not, it's not like I do it on purpose. It just happens out because I can feel their energy. Right. And I want them to feel like someone in the world truly understands them. Because I feel like so many people sit down in my chair and they don't feel seen. They don't feel most. Right. And so I feel like that's part of my job. You give them a safe space. Exactly. You give them a safe space to be able to show those emotions that maybe they won't show to other people or themselves. Right. You know? So I I I love that. Love it. Um, is there a type of client or question you feel especially called to help with? Um, yeah, I'm always I'm I'm there for the people who are ready to transform their life, right? Who are ready to make the changes needed, who are ready to heal themselves the way they they need to be healed. Okay. Who are ready to do the work, right? Because everybody, you gotta do the work too. It's not just on us. It's not just on us, all right. Uh, and last question for for this part: what kind of energy do you hope people feel when they leave a session with you? I hope they feel like, you know, I've been compassionate, I've been understanding, and more than anything, I want them to feel empowered in movies, empowered to go out and make those changes that are necessary for their lives to make them feel happier and to make them feel more at peace with who they are. So for this part now, I am going to be asking you questions about what clients can expect in a session with you. Okay. So starting out for the new people who are going to be walking through those Crystal Magic Psychic Center doors, walking in through your door, getting a hold of you to get these types of readings. For someone who has never ever had a reading before, what can they expect when they sit down with you? Complete honesty is the first thing. I'm never gonna sugarcut coat anything. I have a lot of clients who will ask me that question. Like, is that really what you're seeing? Yes, that's really what I'm seeing. If I see goodness coming up, I'm gonna say there's goodness coming up. If I see that there's a challenge coming up, I'm gonna address the challenge. Um, but more than anything, I just want them to feel like they have kind of like someone on their side. Okay, you know, that really helps them. My ideal client that comes in is someone who's open to receive and who's willing to ask questions, talk through the reading, kind of explain, okay, this is what I'm seeing, and then they'll pop up and they'll explain, oh my goodness, I can't believe you saw that. This is what's been going on, and da da da da da. Because people need to talk and they need to talk at us. And for some people, that's how they evolve, and that's how they see their truest self, and they also start to see their patterns that way as well. True. Very true, very, very true. So, what does a typical session look like from beginning to end with a client? And this can be a new client, uh a reoccurring client. What can people typically expect with your sessions? Well, I'm always gonna keep to the time frame as much as I can. If they have extra questions, then we'll go extra. Yeah, but I always try to tell them when they sit down who I am, why I do what I do, and that if they're not feeling comfortable in a session, to please let me know. Right because I would rather them tell me that and get them another reader than have them leave unhappy and unfulfilled. Right. So for me, I start off my readings each and every time saying those things. And then I also um I will pull with different uh different tools. It depends. If they got yes, no questions, I'm gonna pull out my dowsing rod. If they have like, okay, where's my path? I'm gonna pull out my tarot and I'm gonna do the whole path. Invariably, I always pull out um astrology cards as well to kind of get them to understand the theme of what is really coming out in the cards. Okay. And then I also pull like angel cards to to help them understand that their guides are on their, they're on their side. They're there to help them. Yeah. Anytime they need to ask questions, they need to ask their guides for assistance. So it's kind of like that. And on top of that, I want to make sure that they understand that I'm there for them. And so it's very conversational in my in my readings. Okay. Yeah. So you really make it the client feel comfortable being in the room with you, no matter what modality you're using. Okay. All right. See, guys, you got options. You got options. Okay. Options are good. All right. Here's an interesting question. What role do you believe the client plays in their own feeling or insight? 100%. It's all about them. I'm just the conduit. I'm just uh highlighting what they already know. Or don't want to know. Or don't want to go for the future, right? But I'm I'm highlighting what they know deep inside of them, but the work is on them, right? I'm just here to help you to kind of shine the light on the path that that they're on. And if they don't like the path they're on, I always tell them they have free will and they can change that up. And I always say that too in the reading, you know, like if I'm going through the reading and something negative comes up, you have free will. You can change this. It just because it's out in the cards doesn't mean it's definite, right? It's not written in stone, right? It's not written in stone at all, you know. And I I always go to this too. I always tell my clients, I'm like, don't shoot the messenger. I'm just the messenger, so don't shoot me, please. Lord, um, I have one more interesting question for you on this topic. How do you keep your work grounded, ethical, and supportive for clients? So part of that is I have to be grounded to help people. The source needs to be grounded. Yeah, absolutely. Um, and then they need to be grounded moving on their path. Um, so how do you keep your work grounded, ethical, and supportive? Okay, for clients. So ethical. What comes to mind is the medical intuitive readings because I always ask them what their diet is like before I make recommendations. I will still make the recommendations that spirit is telling me to say, but there's always like a little nuance there, like maybe it's their religion that they don't eat meat, for example, right? And so I want to make sure that they feel like they've still gotten something out of it, right? Moving forward. And whatever's ethical for them, that's what I feel like I honor. I try to honor that as much as I can and the reading. And you said ethical a lot more things? And supportive. And supportive. Okay. So for support, I'm always trying to join people where they are, but to help them see the bigger picture, right, as to what's going on there. And for support, I feel like the biggest support is really making sure that they feel like at least one person is hearing them. And trying to get some understanding or perspective as well. Yes. With that. Absolutely. All right, all right. Now we're gonna go into some some little little fun questions. Okay. Some wisdom, some advice for the listeners and things like that. Because you know, us here, we like to keep things interesting, interesting on the side. What is one spiritual practice you personally use to stay balanced on a daily basis? Yoga. If I didn't do yoga every single day, I wouldn't be as balanced. Um, but it's kind of like part and parcel with chanting. For me, I like to chant. Start chanting, yeah, chanting is a good one. I like that. And so you do this on a daily basis. Yeah. Like kind of part of your morning routine. Fitness, all that. I try to be consistent, but hey, I'm human. We all so again, guys, we're human. We're human. Uh what is something you wish more people understood about psychic or intuitive work? Okay, so because I'm a psychic and I'm out, if I'm out like and about in a regular place, and I tell people I'm a psychic or I'm wearing a shirt for crystal magic, they'll be looking up to me and go, What are you seeing right now? Oh my god. Like nothing. I'm just out and about. Um, I feel like people think that just because we're psychic, we know everything about that. Right. Or we're mind readers. Yes. We're not mind readers, though. I always have people go, What am I thinking? And I go, I don't know. I'm psychic, not a mind reader. Like, and it throws them back. They they get so confused, and I'm like, guys, there's there's a difference, really is right. I feel like there's a moment when we're on, but we're not always on. Right. I exactly gotta turn off the switch sometimes, guys. Because again, it does take quite a bit of energy to do this all the time, especially for other people as well. What message do you feel the collective really needs to hear right now? I've been sitting with this one for a while, so it's interesting you're asking me that question. Okay. It was meant to be. I feel like there's uh a really a polarity that really shifted during the pandemic to where it's like one side against the other. And that, you know, we have to follow one particular political path instead of trying to commune with our community and understanding that everyone has their own path. And it's not one side against the other, it's more like we need to unite and more love and compassion for humanity. I agree 100% a lot. It's it's all of us against the I guess I want to say the evil or the negativity of the world. Exactly. Pretty much. Yes. Love that. What does trusting your intuition really mean to you? Hmm, that's a good one. Um, I feel like everybody kind of has their own take on this. So this is a very interesting question that I love asking you guys. So yeah. Uh trusting my intuition has really come from being able to listen to my body, in particular into my chakras. Okay. And the more, for example, if you're with someone who feels who makes you feel nervous or anxious, that's kind of like your warning symbol going on. It's your warning sign that that's not, there's something not right there. And so if you're not tapping into how the body feels, I personally feel that that's how I tap more into my intuition is I listen to what it's trying to tell me through my body, through the signals through my body. Okay. So for me, that's that's how I tap into my intuition. So, like, so say for instance, like you're around somebody and they don't have the best vibes. So there's certain parts of your body that kind of react to that. So I guess I want to say, for example, maybe your like solar flexes or things like that will like rev up, and you know, that'll be kind of like a red flag of like, okay, is it this person's energy? Is this me? And then that's where you kind of gotta ask yourself those types of questions as well. Exactly. And I felt like if it's uh if it's a danger, man, my third eye is gonna pink. Oh, I love that. Okay, everybody's intuition is going to react differently. Or, I mean, you're gonna have different, I guess I want to say like side effects, yeah of how that energy. Is going to affect you and how you should listen to your intuition as well. So now we're going to get more into like the personal stuff for you. And again, it's still a little bit more fun as well. What's one thing people don't know about you? I have a really big heart. Okay. And I feel like people don't see that right away because I'm kind of quiet. And I'm just kind of quiet because I'm always thinking about something. Like 50,000 different places. You need to be medicated. I think a lot of us need to be medicated, to be honest with you. But that's what makes us interesting, guys. That's what makes us interesting. Oh goodness. Do you have a favorite crystal tool or ritual you like to be right now? I would say my favorite crystal is selenite. Selenite's metaphonic. It also helps you come in with the clearest messages possible. So you'll see that all over my table. Yes. So this is like my most favorite question to ask. If your spiritual work had a theme song, what would it be? Don't stop believing.

SPEAKER_02

Don't stop lady.

SPEAKER_01

I can totally get down to that. And lastly, what lights you up outside of your spiritual work? I have a very deep love for my family. Okay. They light me up on a daily basis. Um my my girls and I can giggle and laugh for days together. And that lights me up. I love that. I I totally can relate to that. I do that with my mom and my sister. I mean, we're very blunt with each other, but also at the same time, we're all we're all joking and you know our minds win together. Keeping it real. Um, is there anything else you'd like the listeners to know about you or your session? I like to laugh, but only if the if the client likes to laugh. So I kind of match the energy that they bring in. Okay. And so that's part of how I make them feel a little bit more comfortable. Right. So you're like, this is where I need to be serious, or these guys seem like they're gonna be a little bit work five. Yeah, exactly. I I can totally relate to that as well. What intention would you like to weave our listeners with today? I think it's it's very important to always have hope for the future instead of believing that there's or feeling like dread for the future. You know, like I said, we all have free will. We can all change what needs to be changed. But I feel like that's very, very important. And I always try to embed hope in my readings as well. Open faith. Open faith, y'all, because Lord, we know we need it. We know we need it. We need it. Well, thank you so much, Phoenix, for sharing your journey and your wisdom today with us. It's such a gift to have you here as part of the Crystal Magic Psychic Center family, growing and expanding with us. For those listening, you can book with Phoenix uh through our website at www.crystalmagic psychic center dot, where you can also read up on all of our other leaders that are there as well.
