Welcome back. Hi, ladies and gentlemen. Holy show. It's been a second since I've recorded a podcast. I've almost forgotten how. Anyway, I didn't mean for time to just get away from me like that. So welcome back. I I actually did record a podcast. I'm not sure if I'll release it or not in that time. It was a couple weeks ago after my my training. Let's let's catch everyone up, right? Hi, welcome to the Wizard of Wonder podcast. This is your host, Joel Fields. And it's delightful to be joining with you. If this is your first listen, welcome in. This is uh yeah, just a just a little chatting session, right? Where I just kind of sit down and rant and ramble about things that are happening, maybe things that I've been through, things that I've done. Yeah. Anyway, the last episode that I did was the holistic response team episode and my old job with the code lavender and all that, and I loved it. Absolutely loved it. And it was really good chatting about that. And during the Cortina method training that I did at the end of June, I was able to go to Parkview and sit down and have some lunch a couple days there. Friday and Saturday, I went there and just wanted to see who I would see and who I would know. And it was absolutely delightful seeing some of those people. And just, you know, it was really great. It was really, really cool to see them there and hang out with them. And, you know, some people had had changed, some people hadn't changed at all. And and it was it was surprising to kind of like just like walk around and like remember remember people's names. And I'm really good with names. And it's just nice to, you know, appreciate people when you see them and their their eyes light up. They're like, oh my gosh, Joel, what are you doing here? You know, totally surprise them and quite a few people. And it was it was awesome to see. So anyway, that was that was the last episode, and that was good. It was great stuff. But yeah, so I've I've been through Cortina method training. Uh, it's it's this new thing that I've been really excited to do, and I've been diving into it. And I since then I've been like this crazy madman, just sitting back and and going through training protocols and reading, you know, from this manual and just pulling all the knowledge in, you know, writing some notes. Now I've I've done a couple set couple visits with some guests, and you know, it's it's just blooming. It's it's really blooming. I've I've done some discovery calls with some some fine people, and we're you know, we're out here making a difference in the world with Cortina method. You know, it's it's unbelievably beautiful. Excuse me, while I kiss the sky. Ooh, Babel. Welcome. Yeah. So anyway, Cortina method blew my dang mind, right? It was kind of an intensive training, and it was exciting and invigorating, and it hit on all of the buttons that I needed to hit on. And I I'm just I'm I'm super thankful that I that I dove into it. You know, it's it's different. And I've been wanting to get into something like this for a long time because I I've always known as my practice kind of advances and changes, right? As fields of my body therapies or as holistic wizard wellness, you know, my LLC. Both of them, you know, both both of these entities, I guess you could say, have they, they've they've been, they've they've always been evolving, right? I'm an evolver, right? I I really try to help other people evolve as well. That's that's kind of what I'm here to be for, like a guide. But, you know, I I've always wanted to take something that uses my my brain a little bit more, right? And I have a a really keen interest in neuroscience and understanding, you know, some deeper elements that can help people transform. So I've been looking for a transformative element that I can use in like my my coaching element is like a just a really cool tool to to move people around and like change up energy and help them rediscover themselves and like really, you know, effectively, you know, transform, you know, up level, optimize, you know, upgrade your gray matter, because one day it may matter. You know what I mean? And I hope you do. Deltron 3030. The automator. Yeah. Anyway, I just totally lost track of what I was talking about. There went the idea right out of my head. And it's so funny. I actually I I was dinking around here on my laptop and I realized that my my playback was messed up on my my audio here. So I I re-scanned the audio and then it re-picked up the microphone, but it or I'm sorry, it picked up the headphones, but it did not pick up the microphone. So I recorded like four minutes of pretty cool stuff talking about Cortina method and CST and different things. It was fun. And then I looked back and I'm like, oh, that that didn't record hardly at all. And the sound was awful. So whoopsies. But now we're back. We're back, ladies and gentlemen. Mm-hmm. And I'm my throat's a little funny. Like I'm I'm sitting in my office, I got an air cleaner here, but like this smoke, the smoke, right? If you've been exposed to it, right, you know, you know what maybe is going on here. The great smokeining of July 2026, right? Hold on, I'm gonna sip this sunshine again here. It's Friday night. We're having some fun, folks. And I am currently drinking a beer. I don't I don't really drink very often. So tonight I'm drinking a Dark Apparition by Jackie O's Brewery, and it's quite delicious. It's an Imperial Stout, I do believe. And so yummy, so yummy. And yeah, anyway, I'm I'm just enjoying a couple of those this evening randomly. But it's it's Friday night, like I said, you know, and it's the freaking weekend, and I'm about to have me some fun. And but yeah, anyway, so it's been a minute since I've I've been on doing the podcast, and you know, I this is this would be week three, you know. I I should have had another pot two other podcasts out besides this one. And I I did record an episode on Cortina Method, my training, and I I went in a little bit uh not a little bit, a lot of depth on it. And I mean it was a really good episode, and I still have it, I may still release it sometime, but I don't know. There were there were some things in there that you know maybe I have talked about through Cortina Method, and you know, it I don't know. It's it's really such a unique thing that I don't really want to be teaching and talking about it as much as I do craniosacral therapy and somatomus release and some of the other stuff that I'll probably be getting into in the future. But but yeah, it's it's really good good stuff. And it's I I've done a couple visits already, and I've got some discovery calls going on, and you know, there's just some some people out there who really need some good help. And for a long time, I've been looking for some things to do that doesn't use my hands as much, that allows me to use my brain, that allows me to use my degree, that allows me to pull in a lot of the stuff that I've learned from mind-body medicine, different things, and you know, apply that even through like an online Zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom, you know. If you know what that's from, give it a shout out. Make my heart go boom, boom, boom, right? I think. Yep. Yep, anyway. Anyway, anyway, but yeah, so I've been looking for something to do like that. And when I went and had a visit with my friend Danielle in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Check out DNA Empower Empowerment, DNA Empowerment Podcast, I do believe it's called. She's freaking awesome. She's like the smartest astrologer like that I know in person in real life. Probably, probably, yeah, probably beats them all. Anyway, big shout out to you, Danielle, for for doing this. I don't know if you ever would listen to this, but anyway, yeah. So, yeah, so I went and had a uh two visits with her, and like like I've talked about before, you know, it really totally changed my life. So I had to go and I had to learn it, and I'm so excited that I did. Like Wednesday night this past week, I took a a masterclass on guilt, resolving guilt. And it was a really powerful, powerful one, and to witness that. And then that particular guest that he had on there, you know, we watched a film of him doing this in real time in front of us. And this gentleman had also come in for alcohol, you know, and it was it was quite in quite quite intense to watch. Not not intense, because it's not intense stuff. It's it's very fascinating to watch, but his story and just kind of like listening to the things that he's been through and things. I mean, you know, this isn't really revisiting the pain. That's that's the big part about it, but just sharing like even like tidbits, right? Little little snippets of what he'd experienced in things like you know, resolving trauma, and then he resolved this alcohol addiction, and then he's he was in there resolving guilt. So you can have multiple visits because multiple things can go up, you know, like like you know, we're we're multi-dimensional humans, right? We have multi-level problems. So even with myself with doing two two visits for a Cortina method, I've I've still noticed that other things have kind of come to the forefront now. And I'm like, hmm, you know, I I didn't I didn't think that that had so much weight on it, but now that this other thing's gone and I'm not like cycling thoughts about this other thing that used to be with me, I'm like, hmm, I wonder if we can scratch that surface. And even when taking the guilt class, I'm like, huh, there's there's some things that I'm probably feeling a little guilty about as well that could be released. And you know, we all have these things, you know, we all have these experiences because we're all humans, right? We're all going through different experiences, right? And I mean, the most amazing thing I think about Cortina method is that it really reduces the judgment when somebody comes in here because it doesn't matter if it's just, you know, you know, your your best friend when you were in like the third grade, like snubbed you, and then all of a sudden you just don't trust, you know, friends or something. You know what I mean? Or maybe I don't know, you know, I mean it works with all kinds of things, you know, all kinds of heavy traumas. I've talked about all this stuff before, and it's it's you know, I don't want to take up too much time talking about more cortina method. I like I said, I recorded a whole episode talking about Cortina method, and I I don't know. I don't know. I think it's just best to be like, hey, this this thing's beautiful, and it it is gonna make a difference in people's lives if if you if you pop on to a discovery call. So yeah, if you're curious, if anybody's curious, I can do them over Zoom as well. And yeah, I'm ready to get cooking with this stuff, and it's beautiful. I do most of the talking, and you don't have to talk about your pain or things, and it usually works with like one, two sessions pretty easily. So yeah, pop on to fieldsmybuddy.com if you guys are curious about that. But anyway, let's move on. Just you know, life, right? It's crazy. But we got these these freaking fires happening. You've got we've got crazy lettuce, you know, you can't trust lettuce right now, the leafy greens and things like that, like things like that, you know. You just you just can't, you know, it's it's a weird, weird time right now to be in existence. So if you're hearing this, just go on ahead and nod your head, you know, just yep, mm-hmm. It's crazy time, Joel. And it's it's not a bad thing, but man, it really keeps you on your toes, don't it? You know, you know, you don't know what you're gonna get next, you know. We have like the data centers, we have the flock cameras, we got the lettuce, we've got the smoke, we've got mysterious little earthquakes going on, we've got possible alien disclosure, we've got a dementia patient like leading the country and like stealing a bunch of money, and everyone's just kind of turning their heads, like all kinds of weird stuff like that. You know what I mean? It's just a strange dang time. And you know, they turned off CERN and yeah, all kinds of crazy stuff's going on, and you know, I'm just really excited for the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake. I think that's gonna be really cool. And even though even though I don't have a Nintendo Switch, I'm still kind of excited about it. I think it'll be good. And I'm also excited for Fable. There's a Fable remake, and I'm I'm kind of excited for the new Grand Theft Auto, to be honest. You know, I don't really play a lot of video games very much, and I probably if I get them, I probably won't play them very much at all. But I am looking to check them out. Fable, I'll probably play the most, and then Ocarine of Time, I will probably, yeah, I'll probably if I you know, I don't know. We'll see what happens. The world's crazy, the economy's crazy, everything's nutso right now, but that's okay. Anyways, I'm sure you guys don't want to hear about that nonsense, right? You know, what's what's everybody doing to cope with the craziness, you know? Since we're thinking about it, since we're talking about it, since we're like, you know, what are you what are you guys doing to you know find yourself? You know, I I think I think I think we are in this time right now, ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen, we're in this time where you know we're wisening up, you know. Some people some people are maybe like vibing low, and then some people are vibing high. You know what I mean? Like if you're a high vibing person, do you I don't know, maybe, maybe you are, maybe you're not, maybe you are. I don't know. This is the Wizard of Wonder podcast, ladies and gentlemen. So we are we're high vibers around here, right? We vibe high and we you know enjoy the mellow grooves from time to time, right? If you do, if you're a fan of the mellow grooves, I don't know. Maybe you're not, maybe you are, I don't know. Either way, you're listening to this podcast. This is a very silly episode. I'm just I'm literally just kind of sitting around here Friday night, reviewing some notes, reviewing some training materials from Cortina method, and it just kind of occurred to me that you know what, I'm kind of I'm kind of not keeping myself accountable for my podcast. You know, I I really liked it. I really recorded a great episode in the last one, and I don't know, I I took a couple weeks off, and I just wasn't really holding myself accountable. I mean, there was kind of like that holiday weekend a little bit, which is crazy. It was, you know, already a few weekends ago, but yeah, I don't know. I don't really do anything anymore. So it's it's kind of just a it's it's weird to just be around sitting around your house all the time. It's probably not good, but I am getting a lot of studying done. I'm I'm reading a lot of books and doing a lot of things that like I just haven't been able to do in a long time, and it's kind of nice to get things done. And I've been responsible in that way. It's not like I'm just sitting around here like you know, daydreaming all day long or something, which would be kind of funny if I was just daydreaming all day long, just sitting around here just like you know, just totally like tranced out. But yeah, oh gosh, everything's just it's everything's actually pretty awesome right now, you know. I really don't have too many complaints except for the the you know the smoke, the the well, I'm I'm off the lettuce at the moment. I don't know about you guys, but taking a taking a backseat to the lettuce. Holy shit! Holy shit. Sorry for the the French guys, but I just so my my office, right? My little pod studio is in my back office, and I have a window out there that faces my backyard, and I just happen to like look over and see like a big old skunk just like scurrying like right right along, like you know, he had somewhere to go, that homie. Yeah, anyway, thankful that there is like a smoke warning out there right now because I'm not outside walking, and if I wasn't outside walking, I'd probably run smack dab into that skunk. And we'd have a skunk off, really, to be honest. But yeah, anyway. That was a big skunk. Anyway, sorry, I I usually don't get skunk spooked like that. But not that they're spooky, you know. I don't know, skunks are kind of cute, you know. If if they just didn't have that that thing about them that people don't enjoy, you know, they'd probably be great pets, I'm I'm assuming. You know, it's it's kind of probably like a raccoon though. You probably don't want to just you know up and pet a raccoon, you know. They are wild animals for a reason, or foxes and stuff. I don't know. What's more close? A fox or a skunk? To what fox or raccoons? Foxes or raccoons? Which one's closer to a skunk? I don't know. Good question. Weird question. Anyway, like I said, this is a very nonsensical episode, and sometimes, you know, it's just important to talk a little bit of nonsense, you know. But I've the the thing is though, is that I have I've missed you listeners, you know, if you're listening, if you're a hardcore listener and you're like, hey, you know, and I did have somebody reach out and been like, hey, why why didn't you put an episode out this week? What's going on? And I don't know, maybe for the holiday, I might have taken a holiday break. It was the third, I think, a couple weeks ago. So yeah, Friday the third. Well, I did release an episode that day, didn't I? No, I didn't. I released one the 26th. Yeah, anyway, going back through. I don't know. This podcast has no rhyme, has no reason. But I will also say, while we're talking about this at the moment, I was actually on a podcast, my friend's podcast, Transformative Talks with Tulsi Gilbert, recently on Monday. I actually did that on Monday, and so that'll be out in a couple weeks. So I will y'all be hearing from that soon. I will link that when she gets it up on her socials and whatever she's doing. We did record video for that, so you actually get to see my face talking instead of just hearing me mouth. Hearing me mouths. You get to see my face, my face mouth it out. And I I don't know if that's appealing to anybody or not, but yeah. Anyway, yeah, I I've truly missed doing podcasting. You know, it it is fun, and I I'm wondering maybe if it would be kind of cool to get some guests in here, maybe that could spice it up a little bit. Maybe maybe more people would be like, oh yeah, we want to we want to hear more about like like what you what you know and like how how you could you know chat with somebody else about things. You know, I I know a lot of podcasts like that kind of format. And you know, maybe I'll start doing that with like season two. And who knows? Who knows where this thing's gonna go? You know, like I said, I just I wanted a creative outlet where I just sit down and talk about the things that are either on my mind or things that could help people or be of benefit to them, maybe, or you know, inform you guys a little bit and educate you guys and entertain you guys a little bit more about holistic health and all the cool things, consciousness. You know, I really don't talk about that stuff nearly as much as I should. I love it, I think about it, I don't talk about it, but I don't know, it's all relative. But I think maybe if I did have a guest on here and we were like going back and forth, be like, hey, what do you know about this? What do you know about this? And maybe you guys might get a kick out of that, you know. I could I could have some pretty cool discourse with somebody. I like to think that I can talk to a lot of people about a lot of different subjects wherever they go because of my ADHD. And yeah, could be fun, could be totally fun. So if maybe you know somebody, maybe you're like, hey, I want to talk on your podcast or I want to have a conversation. Maybe, maybe you do, maybe you don't, maybe I don't know. It could be fun, could be fun. So hit me up. You never know. We could talk about nonsense stuff. I don't care. It could be fun, it could be fun, but yeah, hit me up if you're down for something like that, and if you're not, whatever. Just I I don't know. I just hope you have been enjoying what we have been doing so far. And even if there's just crazy nonsense episodes kind of like this, just talk about a little of this, a little of that. Maybe you're just down for the ride to listen to something at some time with somebody who is cool. I don't know, maybe not, who knows? That's not for me to decide. But anyway, this has been far long enough, and I appreciate you guys. And I look forward to actually working to put something more together that's a little bit more solid than just a Friday night rambling uh with some dark apparition from Jackie O's. And yeah, anyway, I bid you guys a farewell and happy, happy Friday evening, and take care of yourselves and stay cozy. San Diego. Later.
