Sperm Sisters's Podcast
"Sperm Sisters", a group of three sisters who found each other for the first time in their 30s. Join Natasha, Gemma and Helen every week as they learn more about the crazy donor conceived world that we all live in, and enjoy bonus episodes where they share personal stories worthy of their own Netflix documentary. Each episode, the sisters set out to uncover the murky world of dodgy 80s medical malpractice: anonymous sperm donors, hundreds of siblings, no paperwork trails - and yes, this had been going on for over 20 years in fertility clinics across the world. Will they ever know who their biological Dad is? Will more siblings pop up on their DNA test apps? Have a listen and find out.

Our Friday bonus episodes go deeper. These are our personal stories, raw, unfiltered accounts of what it really means to be donor-conceived. From discovering as adults that we're not biologically related to our families to navigating rejection, identity, and truths we were never meant to uncover. These are the moments life doesn't prepare you for. Expect to hear how we found out that we're donor-conceived, what we message to newly discovered siblings, and how it feels to find your actual donor. What do you even say? We're sharing these stories because the world needs to wake up. Behind the science and the systems are real lives, real people shaped by secrecy and a lack of ethics. These bonus episodes go further, bringing context to our Tuesday shows and shining a light on the realities faced by hundreds of thousands of donor-conceived people across the world. Join us, Gemma, Natasha and Helen, the Sperm Sisters, alongside voices from donors, medical professionals, and others with lived experiences as we unravel the stories woven into our DNA.
SPEAKER_01Join us for this special bonus episode as Natasha begins to share her journey of discovering she was donor-conceived. These stories are deeply personal and not always easy to tell. We're honoured to help bring them to light.
SPEAKER_00And as myself, Gemma, and Helen have come to learn, through our own experiences and everything we've uncovered since, news like this often comes out in moments of trauma when everything is already falling apart. So what did I do with something that big at a time like that? I did what anyone would do. I put it in a box, sealed it, locked it, and pushed it as far back in my mind as I possibly could. I was grieving, and that grief has stayed with me quietly and heavily, well into my 30s. And that box? Well, it stayed closed. Until it didn't.
SPEAKER_01Continue to join us each week as we begin to share our story as to how we discovered we were sperm sisters.
