Welcome back to another episode of The Family Business. Episode number five. I know last week, last episode, I told you guys that we'll be going weekly, but with the Easter break and some other scheduling conflicts, we did release episode four today, as we are recording. So this one, I might give it a day or two just to roll out another one. But I promise you, I promise you, moving forward, we will have an episode. I'm thinking Wednesdays. I think Wednesdays, middle of the week. It's good for people to uh to tune in. So look forward to that. And the amount of emails, believe it or not, that we got um from episode three and anticipating more for episode four. Thank you for your feedback. It is much appreciated. Most of it's positive feedback. I know I haven't showed you all of them. Most of it's positive, some negatives. And just for you people who I had one guy comment, I won't say his name, but he basically said that the fact that I'm white and I say there's no such thing as white privilege proves that there's white privilege. I suppose it is. I I don't know, but and then one person, one person, uh the same person also said uh he asked me how proud my parents would be for doing what I'm doing. So thank you, sir, but I already have a mother, I don't need another one. I guess he doesn't realize who who who my co-host is on this, but regardless, hey, feedback is feedback. Positive, negative, we thank you. Um but uh for those of you who are interested, it's thefamily business.chat at gmail.com. Uh we're not big on social media just yet. Eventually, if we need to, we'll get there. But as of right now, we're old school just by email, thefamilybusiness.chat at gmail dot com. Anything to say before we get into this?
SPEAKER_00Well, before we get into it, uh to just comment on that guy that said uh what he said. Uh I I will I will say this. I am now officially uh on the uh on the train that says I've stopped apologizing for being a white man. Right. It's over. It's it's over. I mean actually, it never was. Really, but people just make all sorts of nonsense and uh you know any any ethnic group I speak with, nobody seems to care. It's always again, and I've said this many times in the past, and you're gonna roll your eyes when I say it, it's always these Karen's that get offended for other people. Right. Other people don't care, they just they just want to do their jobs, they just want to go, you know, go about their business. Race is the last thing on anybody's mind. Yeah. So I that's I I just thought I would interject that.
SPEAKER_01Oh, very true. Uh, like we always do, very quickly, right off the hop, a couple of news stories around the world that we're not really gonna talk about, but but we're going to talk about. Uh, number one, for those of you who care, I know the number's not many, but Rory McElroy did win back-to-back masters championships. So he didn't he did pull it off yesterday. For those of you who would do enjoy golf.
SPEAKER_00I thought it was volleyball.
SPEAKER_01See, I and I feel like for even if you're not a golfer, the Masters is one of those tournaments that is like, let me see who won the Masters. Right. You know, it's one of those tournaments. So uh it took him 17 years to win his first one. And then finally, and he won't he became only the fourth golfer to win back-to-back masters titles. Oh, okay. So I ended up watching of it, to be honest with you, and especially yesterday, literally from 12:30, 1 o'clock till all till 7 o'clock, I was glued on the TV watching the Masters. Okay. So it's very uh very good. But the one thing I didn't want to say, like I said, we're gonna talk about it, but we're not gonna talk about it. Um Eric Swalwell officially quits the California governor race amid all those sexual misconducts and uh allegations. What's your thoughts on that?
SPEAKER_00My thoughts is I was following Eric Swalwell for about 10 years, and his his antics, the fang fang or fing fing or whatever her name is, he knew she was a spy yet. She was the guy, the guy, in my opinion, okay, because we I don't want to get in trouble, in my you know, God-given opinion, I think the guy's scum, personally. Right. I I don't even know how he gets elected. Like the guy, the guy's clearly he should not be on, you know, intelligence committee. Like, you gotta be kidding me.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And and the fact that Congress uh they have a slush fund. I was listening to another show uh earlier this morning, and they said that the Congress people have slush funds legal, so he so this swallow apparently allegedly can you know rape women and do all this stuff, and and and he has represent like legal representation. Right. They're not afraid of anybody. Man, Nancy Pelosi can inside trade all she wants. She's not going to jail. You or I? You know, watch your head as you get in the back of the police car. You know, it it it's it's totally not fair.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And and it's getting worse and worse. And and like one uh one commentator said, the Americans are, you know, people that are interested, even the us Canadians. We want to see people in handcuffs. Yeah. They clearly broke the law. And it reminds me of, you know, back back then, back in, I think it was in '93 when John Critichen gets on, says, Oh, a billion dollars, nothing for for our country. Yeah? Yeah. Steal a thousand dollars and see what happens. Exactly. It's beyond it's beyond my reckoning of reason.
SPEAKER_01Right. Well, you know, it is what it is, but just wanted to just wanted to say that. And last thing, I'm literally looking at it right now, uh, for the Canadians, um, Carney, believe it or not, is one seat away from getting a majority power. Oh boy. Yeah, a lot of a lot of uh conservatives have defected and swe and across the table, but he's one away from majority government here in Canada.
SPEAKER_00So But you know what we should have? We should have in Canada an actual, an actual, real election and see what happens.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and see what happens. Yeah, I agree. But moving on, and I'm gonna get I'm gonna go on a bit of a rant here. I have tried. Okay. I have tried many times from episode one, two, three, four, and now five. Okay. I'm gonna read you something. Alright. Okay, it's gonna be very obvious who this came from. And to me, the date of this post means a lot too. Alright. Alright. It was on Easter. Tuesday will be, and I'm gonna quote I'm quoting this. Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one in Iran. There will be nothing like it with three exclamation marks. Open the effin, and the word was fully spelt out, okay, straight. You crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell. All caps, just watch. Praise be to Allah. Signed, President Donald J. Trump. Oh, jeez. Here's the thing. I have defended Trump. I made it very clear. I'm a huge I believe in his policies. I do believe what he is doing in Iran. But you you you come up with a post like this. I mean, clearly, clearly, he's taking a shot at the at the Muslims by saying, praise Allah. Right. I don't think he's a follower. No, he's not. That was that was totally satire. Okay. But what's the line? We talked about this before. As an individual, as a person, for the power and position you hold in office, how can you support a man like that? Okay, hold on, hold on, before you say anything. Before the show started, I texted, I told you I'm gonna send you a text of a photo. Right. Okay. And but don't open it. I want you to open it now. Now? Now open it now on your phone. Okay. He made he posted this. Okay. Let me see this. Oh, he Oh my goodness, he posted this? He posted that on his true social website. This is not AI? Well, the photo is AI, but he admitted to posting it.
SPEAKER_00No, I understand. No, I know this, but it's so what is he what is so what is he depicting here?
SPEAKER_01What do you think he's depicting?
SPEAKER_00Well, okay, it's what does it look like? Okay, it's it's supposed to be Jesus Christ, I think. Right. And he's he he's got the uh in his left hand he has a light coming out of his palm, and with his right hand he's touching uh touching a gentleman. Who who is that gentleman?
SPEAKER_01I I I I don't know if that matters, but either way, and you post something like this, basically self-proclaiming yourself as the Messiah. How do you support a guy like that? Like this goes back to me making that point that I agree with his policies, I like what he's doing, but as a human being, as a person, this guy's a prick.
SPEAKER_00You know what? He he this is the the way uh the way I'm looking at it, uh, number one, I I I don't think he's the village idiot, and I am quite sure, well, at least I hope, that his religious advisors are telling him one thing. God will not be mocked.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so literally about an hour ago, hour before we recorded, okay, he was asked in the White House, he was asked about that post. And he said, Oh yeah, I posted it, I posted it. He claims that if he that it's the left-wing fake news that are depicting him as Jesus Christ there. And his whole intention on doing that was that he was portraying himself as a doctor, not as Jesus. And he was saying, Because I heal people, I make people feel good. That's what I do. Come on, come on. Really? I'm on his side, and the first thing I think of is he's depicting himself as Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_00Well, there's there's one word for that.
SPEAKER_01What's that?
SPEAKER_00Blasphemy. You gotta be careful.
SPEAKER_01And that's basically what a lot of let's put it this way a lot of religious leaders, not just Christians, but a lot of religious leaders, are slowly turning their back on Trump because of the war. They don't believe in the bombings, they don't believe in all that, yada yada yada, whatever. He was elected, he wanted peace in the Middle East, he promised, even though, yes, you can argue he didn't start this war, but he's not doing anything to other than to prevent it.
SPEAKER_00No, hold on, hold on. He he said what? I will bring peace to the Middle East in order to bring peace, you gotta get rid of the you gotta get rid of the bear.
SPEAKER_01But you can argue that that's that's No, I you know what?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Listen, I don't know. Let let's let's let's just call him blasphemous and all that. Let's let's say all that. But attacking Iran was, in my opinion, is the best thing he could have done.
SPEAKER_01No, no, I'm just saying what everyone else is saying.
SPEAKER_00Right. Yeah, but yeah, but these are people, okay. Um somebody close to me uh went to uh called me up and said, Hey, I just got back from a prayer meeting. And one of the ladies at this prayer meeting got up and said, We have to pray that God stops Donald Trump from torturing the Iranian people.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And and sh and she wasn't being mean, she literally believes that. Yeah. Because that's what the media teaches people, that's what they tell them. Trump is bad, orange man bad. He is he is killing the Iranian people. All the while the Persians are are egging them on, saying, yes, free us. So the the the problem is that information is power. Now, the way the way Trump is doing this, um Okay, I I I agree with you. That's that's he's really crossing the line here.
SPEAKER_01In the post.
SPEAKER_00Well, the post, yeah. Both posts. And the other in the other post.
SPEAKER_01The other post about praisala. Yeah, the praisala. And even using profanity. Uh I mean, I know I know profanity is a touchy subject for a lot of people, but in the position of power that you're in, listen, I I I try, I'm not known as a person who swears like a sailor, but to me, I'm not gonna say I I've never swore in my life. No, I mean, you know, sometimes I have flare-ups in traffic and whatever, you know, anger gets to me, you know. Sometimes, you know, I'll make a mistake. But you you're typing that out. That's not, you're you're intentionally doing that. That's not out of anger. That's not out of, that's just being trashy. Well, like I said, what's the fine line between, like, listen, I will still stand on my beliefs that I support Donald Trump as a president. It's just hard to continue to show my support and acknowledge it publicly when he does stupid things like this. You know?
SPEAKER_00But this is what the greatest showman does. He will uh see, you got two guys that are talking north of the 49th parallel. What kind of meanie he is, blasphemous this and that, and this is all leading to something, and then something huge is gonna happen. It's oh, he was right all the time. Or something.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I still think you can play, you can still act presidential. Like, I don't care how many chess pieces you think he's playing ahead of you, you still, to me, there's a fine line between just being a decent human being.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but you know what? If if given given the chance, uh if you were to ask uh Donald Trump, are you a decent human being? He'll he will say, No, I'm not.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's true too, probably.
SPEAKER_00Because he he himself said, because you see, they uh a lot of the uh the Christians say that, oh, he's God sent and all that stuff. And and the Bible is clear when it says, you know, how many times shall I forgive my brother? Seven? And what did Jesus say? Seventy times seven. Okay, what his trip says, I don't forgive. Right. So then you go. So that that in itself, you you know what you're getting into with Donald Trump. Right. I I still think he he might not act presidential, but you know what? He's doing exactly what he said he was gonna do.
SPEAKER_01Gets the job done. He's getting done. Then again, nothing is as bad. I know I'm talking about this post, but you did you see what uh what Paula White did or what she said to Trump? No, I I I don't like Paula White. Paula White, I'm I'm gonna paraphrase here because I don't I don't really have the time to look it up. But she basically was actually I'm gonna try to look it up as I speak. She was basically comparing Donald Trump to um Jesus Christ on Easter. Oh, you gotta be kidding me. There's no comparison. Uh she uh comparison to Jesus Christ uh political challenge. Uh Paula White said that Trump and his political challenges followed a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us and suggested that Donald Trump rose from his legal troubles just as Jesus rose from the dead. Wow.
SPEAKER_00You know what that makes me think? I look like Paula even more now.
SPEAKER_01That's not even Paula Paula White, yeah. I'm reading it, I'm reading it now. I'm trying to find it before I'm losing time here. Uh no one, Mr. President, this is a quote from Paula White. No one has paid the price like you have paid the price and almost cost you your life. You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused. It's a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us, she said. But it didn't end there for him, and it didn't end there for you, she said. God always had a plan. On the third day he rose, he defeated evil, he conquered death, hell, and grave. And because he rose, we all know that we can rise. And sir, because of his resurrection, because of his resurrection, you rose up. She also added, Because he was victorious, you are victorious. And I believe that the Lord said to tell you this because of his victory, you will be victorious in all you put your hands to.
SPEAKER_00Okay, it's not bad. It's not, it's not okay, it's not blasphemous, but I I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_01You don't think that's blasphemous to compare his trial and tribulations to what Jesus Christ went through on the earth?
SPEAKER_00What Jesus went through, we can't even begin to imagine. Right. Our wildest imaginations, we can't even um he was crucified. He was betrayed. He was you know, uh, okay, so Donald got a little uh little bit on his ear, uh, a bullet hit. You know, that's that's not 40 lashes, man. That's not that's not a crown of thorns. I mean, no, these there's no comparison whatsoever. No, I agree.
SPEAKER_01But basically the whole point of me bringing this up is it is getting tiresome. Seeing, in my opinion, seeing him with all these posts, the weight and the you know, certain actions, certain things. I don't know. I don't know. Like I said, I I sub I I still I will always be on the side of I agree with what he's doing with Iran. I won't side with the majority. But to me, like I said, like I said, I think it was episode three. I just wish he was a better human being.
SPEAKER_00But he's not.
SPEAKER_01But he's not. So, but it's just I but let's put it this way. I understand more and more why people don't like him.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think I said this in episode one. I think I said this in episode one. He was uh he was always um, you know, quote unquote jerk, even in the 80s. Yeah. So that's never been um that's never been a an as a human being, no, I don't like him. Right. But as a president, I think he's he's the best. Like I like I I'll say this again. He should be the fifth face on Rushmore. I believe that. Everything he's done. But what but keep this in mind though. If now if, like I okay, we I know you by your fruits, and I see what what's going on, the pictures, the posts, and all these, you know, praise out and all that nonsense. Always remember there was an engineer, I think he was an engineer back in the turn of the century, and what he said, he said, God himself cannot sink this ship.
SPEAKER_01I know exactly where you're going with this. Exactly. So you know what happened. Big old iceberg got in the way.
SPEAKER_00Got in the way, or whatever, but the ship went down. Yeah. Many people, like there was uh uh I think it was a Brazilian politician said, if I can get a hundred thousand votes, even God can't stop me. He died. See whether you believe it or not, I it's it's it's beyond me to uh uh you know to to say otherwise. God will not be mocked. If you got the guts to start making fun of God, the Holy Spirit, this and that, uh have at it, see what happens. Right. So if if Donald is truly out of line, well, you know what? God will be able to do it. God will handle it. I hope it doesn't. Right. You know, but uh but that's that's that's dangerous. Yeah. So I would be very, very cautious. And if anybody thinks I'm crazy, you can email me and tell me I'm crazy. I know that God will not be mocked.
SPEAKER_01Um, so sticking somewhat on the Trumps um discussion, we did get a uh some feedback from a fan of ours, and uh the name is uh Beth. All right. All right. So first of all, thank you, Beth, for reaching out, listening, appreciate it. But I want to read what she emailed us. And it's uh you gotta prepare because uh it's actually she gave us a really interesting question that we have to answer. All right. Hello, I just want to comment on episode three on the ice segment. You mentioned everyone in the states that cross the border is undocumented and is undocumented, is considered illegal, and should definitely be deported by ice. I would like to challenge you on your comment, which, by the way, for the audience, love it. Keep doing And hey, we could be wrong. We're not always going to be the people that say we're right, you're wrong. No, if we're wrong, we'll say we're wrong. I would like to challenge you on your comment. Under the Biden administration, these people these people were let into the country by Biden via the administration's open border policy. So technically, they are undocumented legals. If they haven't committed an actual crime in the country and Biden opened the border and let them in, why are you saying they broke the law? Are you waiting for a well so I actually spent a lot of time, like a couple hours, doing research on this. I ended up writing a whole blurb on this, but I want to get your I want to get your opinion on that first, and then I will I will read basically the answer to her question. Okay.
SPEAKER_00The way I see it, alright, keep in mind, if he opens the border, that is physically the border. Okay? When I'm in Ontario and I'm going towards New York, and I go through some farmer's field, that's not the border. The border is Rainbow Bridge, Fort Erie, or Whirlpool Bridge. So if they enter this way, that's one thing. But if they go to Farmer Bob's in uh cross through and you know kill a few chickens and this and that, so we had millions of people that went through the desert, Rio Grande. Not the border.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_00Okay, but now. But was that law or was that an executive order? Okay, you're on the right track. Alright, so now an executive order uh can be rescinded. Correct. So now I don't know the legalities like well, we got in during during the uh executive order. Now that this executive order has been quashed, which I have I have the answer for, by the way. What's that?
SPEAKER_01I have the answer to that. You do. Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's the only thing is because it was um because as soon as uh uh you know Jimmy Carter 2 came into office, uh he he rescinded all these uh these uh executive orders. So I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so I wrote this blurb. Might take me a minute to read this, but this is the research that I came up with, and I kind of wrote it kind of in a speech style. Okay. All right, so I'm gonna read this. Entering the U.S. without inspection, crossing between ports of entry is illegal under federal law, period. That doesn't change with the president or doesn't change with executive orders. Oh, okay. There you are. Regardless, it's a misdemeanor for the first time, and unlawful presence is a civil violation that makes someone deportable. Biden's policies did not rewrite the Immigration and Nationality Act. They just changed enforcement priorities, released more people into the country with notices to appear in court, and created temporary parole programs for hundreds and thousands from specific countries. Parole under Biden let some migrants who have who would have crossed illegally instead fly in legally with permission. These programs gave temporary legal status and work authorizations, but paroles can be revoked. Trump's administration ended many of those. So, for example, like the CHNV for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans. So those people reverted to undocumented status and became priorities for removal. So technically, you were on the right track. Because Trump resented the executive order, it is regardless of how they came in or what time or the time frame or when they came in, that doesn't matter. As soon as that that's just a law. As soon as the executive order was revoked, it would everything, regardless of being technically legally brought in during that time, they are technically at that point illegal, regardless. But the actual law is still in. Because the actual law is still in, because it never superseded law. Gotcha. Okay, holders more. Okay. The Supreme Court upheld canceling some of those, some of those programs. Uh meanwhile, millions who actually crossed illegally between ports, just like you mentioned, Farmer Bob's uh field, uh, crossed illegally between ports during Biden's term, were never ever made legal. They were just processed, released pending hearings, or released with parole that later got pulled. Jeez. Trump's team is simply enforcing the existing rules more aggressively, prioritizing removals, expanded expedited removal, ending cash and release, and going after anyone without valid status. The same person who crossed in 2022 or 23 without permission was always subject to deportation. Biden's DHS often chose not to pursue it aggressively. Now they are. The label illegal comes from the law and how you entered or stayed, not which party controls the White House. Administrations set priorities and create temporary programs, but they can't erase the underlying violation for those who broke the entry rules. Bottom line, crossing illegally makes you illegally present. Policies can delay consequences or paper over it with temporary fixes, but it doesn't make it legal. So then ICE is doing their job. So I guess, and once again, thank you, Beth, for the for the question. Technically, when Biden opened the borders and let everyone in, yes, they were considered undocumented at the time, they were legal through parole status. Alright. Not through law status, through parole status. Because remember, the executive order does not trump the national the national immigration law. The actual law itself by Congress. All it was was basically a delay. You're on parole, you're on delay. Okay. Right? So as soon as Trump, and it may not seem fair, but as soon as Trump uh revoked the executive order, anybody who did not do the court hearings, anybody who did not file, and apparently uh another thing I should have mentioned in that was anybody who came in through those programs, remember that that whole issue with the apps? Right. There was all the apps and all that. So anybody that came in, I'll use the word legally, right, through the executive order, all had those apps, all had processed. They had the court dates, they had the abilities to do, you know, to become legal, to get their statuses done. If you came in during I I read another article and someone said that because there are a lot of people who came in through Biden's thing and they went through the process and they're here they're here legally, they're not getting deported, they're good. Okay, right? So basically, if you delayed and you were lazy, you thought I can get away with it and just stay here and do nothing. Well, guess what? Now you're considered illegal. Sucks to be you. That's just the reality of the situation. Wow.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so I I guess I mean it makes sense.
SPEAKER_01So in a way, in a way, best comment is not wrong because it's kind of a contradiction. At the time, yes, technically they were undocumented legals. But from that time that they crossed the border to the time that Trump revoked the status, revoked the executive order, if they did not do the filings, they are now considered illegal. And remember, through all the millions that came in the country during that time, still more than half were still came illegally. They didn't even go through the proper ports. Half, if not more. Exactly. So basically, what I'm trying to what to sum it all up, if you came in through the executive order, you came in properly, you flew in legally, and you did what you were supposed to do, you got nothing to worry about. So you're fine.
SPEAKER_00You're American.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you you you did what you were supposed to do. Right? So I I I'm sorry, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna sound like a prick. Sucks to be you. Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_00You know? Well, if they didn't do their due diligence, right? I mean, you know, the early what they say about the early worm getting the bird.
SPEAKER_01The bird gets the early, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because they actually they actually interviewed um people who came in through the program, the Cubans, through the DHA, through the program. And they they did the process, they did the app, they filed, they appeared in court, they got jobs, and they're they're here legally. They're good. Those people, regardless of what the left is telling you, those people are not getting deported because they're here legally.
SPEAKER_00Well, okay. So then then tell me this. A guy clearly has MS-13 on his knuckles. And they're calling him a Maryland father. That's a joke. You know, and then then you get a Democrat congressman going down to wherever it was, Colombia or whatever, and having drinks with him, and you know, tell me that's not a that's not a ruse. Just to just to uh just to get to Trump.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, well, the the immigration has been, you know, I I I would watch uh if you know who this guy is, Alejandro Majorcas.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00No, he was the he was the head of uh I I g I forgot his title. But he would be in Congress and and look like guys like Ted Cruz and they're they're yelling at him, what does this tag mean? Well, I don't know. You're the head of the department and you don't know? Like what why I mean it got to the point, why are you even drawing a paycheck? You're not doing your job. And it was it was pathetic to watch the guy. I mean, either either he was on the take by the drug cartels, they gave him money under the table. Because it it made absolutely no sense. Yeah. Even with, you know, uh uh, you know, what do they call what's his name? He's not commander in chief, but uh the um the the signature pen in chief or something. Oh, okay, okay, yeah, yeah. And then the guy the the uh there were some uh people are saying that Biden's been dead for like four years. Yeah. It's like weekend at Bernie's, if you've ever seen that movie.
SPEAKER_01I have actually, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and that's exactly what that was his that was the presidency.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I don't want I don't want to get into that because that's you go down a huge hole. But even like his face, his sculptures, and a couple interviews, you can like see the makeup and the skin flapping under something was definitely wrong. That's definitely one conspiracy. But yeah, so once again, thank you, Beth, for reaching out. Um hopefully that answered your question. Um, but in the meantime, like I said, just like Beth did, if you have any concerns, questions, or feedback, the family chat, sorry, the family business.chat at gmail.com. I might not respond to you, but trust me, we do get them, we do receive them, and we do read them. Moving on back to our native land, okay, I'm trying to I'm trying to think of a comparison between every other province and Quebec. Okay, for those of you who don't know your Canadian history or for our American listeners, basically, I mean, probably before your time, but ever since I was born, it was always Quebec versus Canada. They've always wanted to separate, they wanted to become their own nation. I mean, all the signs are in French. It's basic basically the province of Quebec is basically a whole different country. But I want to give Quebec a lot of praise for what they did last week. Okay. They have passed an expanded secularism law, which targets public prayer and daycare workers, and also teachers. Okay. So I didn't realize this. I'm gonna sound like an idiot here. Hopefully, it's not Notre Dame. What's the famous Catholic cathedral downtown? I believe it's Montreal. Notre Dame. It is Notre Dame. Okay, so that's what I thought. So there's been a lot of issues over the past couple months with public Muslim prayer. All right. They would basically go on the courts outside, set up with their loud chants, their music, whatever, disturbing the people walking by. They wouldn't let anybody go by them as they're doing their prayers, this and that. So the government got starting to get really, really mad. Okay. And I also think this as much as we criticize, I shouldn't say criticize, but we're taught to hate the French in Canada if you're not French. It's always French versus English. That's just the reality of it. That's the whole world. That's true everywhere. But I actually think the one thing I will say about Quebec is they actually have the balls. Okay. Compared to like, let's say, Ford in Ontario. So they passed the bill that will limit prede in public places and puts a ban on wearing religious symbols for daycare workers.
SPEAKER_00Oh, jeez.
SPEAKER_01All right. So it's the bill is called, it's not the C9 bill, but it's called Bill 9. Okay, they are adopting it. And I'm just gonna read you some of the article. Uh, the Quebec government adopted legislation on Thursday that puts limits on praying in public and extends a ban on wearing religious symbols to daycare workers. Bill 9 titled an act uh respecting the reinforcement of lacity in Quebec, builds on two previous laws passed under Premier Francois Legault. Legault's coalition, Avenir, Quebec, as well as the Parti Quebecis, voted in favor of the legislation while the Liberals and Quebec Solidaire voted against. Shocker. This law will ban subsidized daycare workers from wearing religious symbols with a clause, with a clause exempting those already in their position. Okay. Okay. So for example, if I open up a if I open up a Somalia daycare in Quebec, none of my workers that I hire new to that daycare can wear a hijab.
SPEAKER_00Or a cross.
SPEAKER_01Or a cross on their neck. Right. Okay. Prohibits public institutions such as hospitals from only offering food based on a religious tradition, such as halal or kosher meals. Okay. This law will phase out public subsidies for religious private schools that select students or staff based on religious affiliation only. So the art it does affect the Christians as well. Yeah. This law will ban prayer spaces in public institutions, including universities, with some exceptions, as well as group prayers in public split spaces such as parks without municipal authorization. This bill also invokes the nonwithstanding clause preemptively, uh, shielding it from challenges under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Um trying to read here. So it's kind of like the sense I'm getting, because when I first heard about this, it seemed like it was an attack just on the Muslims. Okay? Because then it got to the point where they were there was one video where they were praying in at Notre Dame, and these people went around and they were just blaring music while they're in the middle of their prayer. Okay. They're basically saying, like, get get out of here, whatever, whatever. And then they were the Muslims were getting pissed off, so they were trying to go after them and almost caused the f it was basically almost caused the riot.
SPEAKER_00Well, civil unrest. Let's call it. Sure.
SPEAKER_01So what are your thoughts?
SPEAKER_00Well, my my thoughts uh immediately are what the mu what are the Muslims doing? Because before the Muslims would never have mass prayer outside of a church or a or a synagogue or a but what they're doing, like even in Toronto, they were uh they were praying in public. The re they have mosques, they pray in their own sections, but the reason they're doing it in public is to show we are here and we're here to stay, and we're in your face. Yeah, that's their attitude. You see, and this is where um uh some of the uh I'll call them the non-Muslims will say, Hey, so and so, you're you're a little you're a little rough with the Muslims. Well, you yeah, take it down a notch, and I'll say, No, I'm not, because they're not even hiding it. They are here to invade. That is their job. We are infidels, and they want to make it so one day our wives, our daughters, our granddaughters are wearing hijabs. Like I said, that lady in a mall to my mother. That's why I am the way I am. No, this this, you know, it's it's a it's a Christian nation, it's supposed to be, but um, but Quebec has now made it secular. Nobody can uh so so if you have uh 30 people want to say, you know, Jesus loves me, this I know, apparently you can't now. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01See, I want to touch on what you just said. And this is the thing that people need to realize. The the Quran is the Quran. Okay? Muslims follow the Quran. I'm right, okay. I'm just making sure I'm just making sure I'm not saying anything wrong. There is no such thing as a radical Muslim. Okay. What I mean by that is the Quran is very clear. Like, I I I don't have anything anything to read right now, but the Quran is very clear that was it, chop the heads. Basically, if you're not Muslim, their job is to eliminate to eliminate you. No, it's convert or Right. Yeah. The thing is, is that you can't be a Muslim and not believe that part of it. Right. Okay. So let me compare this to Christianity because I argue all the time. So, for example, uh, what's that church in the States? Um, God hates fags.
SPEAKER_00Oh, um It's on the tip of my tongue.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's not Westboro.
SPEAKER_00I think it is Westboro. Maybe it is Westboro. It is Westboro.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Godhatesfags.com or something.
SPEAKER_01That is radical Christianity.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, so's the Klan. Apparently, they're Jesus people. Apparently, yeah.
SPEAKER_01The white Jesus, opposite of black Jesus. Yeah, I guess. See, and that's the thing. Obviously, I'm gonna defend Christianity. There are radical Christians. Like anybody who goes on the streets with signs that says God burns fags, God hates fags, and all that, to me, that's being a radical Christian. Because you know what? God I don't even think that's Christian, because for sure. Because God, in my opinion, God God loves, I'm gonna stop using that word. God loves homosexuals. Yeah. Um, and that's that's what we're taught. Uh no, as you would not, you can't no no, there's no, there's no, uh, at the end of the day, they were made in his image, right? There's no difference between me murdering someone and them being in a homosexuality. Sin is a sin. Yeah, but God doesn't like sinners. No, but he still loves, he still died for them. No, Christ died for them, yes. Right. Okay, I'll give you that. Yes, yes, he did. And there's there's and he's and at the end of the day, even though they're still living in sin, they're still part of his redemptive plan. That they can be 100%. That's right. So for to say that God hates them, no, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_00That's rough.
SPEAKER_01Okay. But in terms of the Quran, in terms of being a Muslim, like God's argument once with someone, they're saying, Oh, I'm not a radical Muslim, I'm a love, I'm a Muslim who loves everyone, then you're not a Muslim. Not really.
SPEAKER_00According to the Quran.
SPEAKER_01According to the book that you're supposed to be studying, you're not. You know, and that's the thing that people need to get through their heads and say, oh, not all Muslims are bad. True. If they don't actually follow their faith.
SPEAKER_00Correct.
SPEAKER_01But if you're a Muslim that follows your faith, no, it's this thing you said it's convert or eliminate. Yeah. There's no, there's no there's no radicalism between that. That's just the fact of the book they study and the book they follow. That's just the reality of it. So you said, I believe you said this, or somebody else said this. You notice how Christians or other people aren't going into Muslim nations and trying and trying to live there? I think it was episode three. We were talking about it. Wow. But they're all they're doing is coming and trying to get to us.
SPEAKER_00But but that's because that's what they want to do. Their job is to convert the world. You see, um, Christians, they want to convert the world as well. But they say, here, we just planted a seed. Jesus loves you, and that's about it. You know, you if you don't turn from your sin, but if you don't accept Christ, you know, I'm not going to kill you if you don't. You understand. And and see, with the with the Muslims, uh, uh in Islam, it's convert or die, and uh that, or if they're living in the same society, you study this. The the infidels, the ones that will not accept uh Islam, are taxed more. In Islam countries. In Islamic countries, that's right. Right. They have they have like uh I think it's Pakistan. I was talking to this gentleman, and he was uh he was one of those non-radical Muslims, as he called himself. Uh, and he said that if you if you lived in Pakistan and you were not Muslim, then you'd be paying a higher tax.
SPEAKER_01A little off topic. I remember we were we were at a restaurant. It was you, me, mom, and my girlfriend. We were at a restaurant, and the lady that was serving us, a beautiful lady, but she young, uh, she maybe she was like my what 25, 26. Oh, yeah, I remember this. You know where I'm going with this. And we were trying to figure out this is just a weird family game we do. We were trying to figure out like what her background was. Yeah. And when I tell you it was a mystery, she could have been anywhere from Russian to Indian. I thought she was a Russian girl. Right. So, you know, I I have no fear. Um I'm like, hey, just out of curiosity, what's your background? So uh she said, Oh, she says, I'm from uh Dubai. Dubai, that's right. And I was like, Oh, Dubai, that's that's beautiful. Like, why would you move to Canada when you lived in Dubai? And she says, Oh, woman's rights. I was like, wait, what? So apparently, I didn't know this because to me, I was acting all, you know, whatever, whatever. Oh, I love Dubai, this and that. She says, Yeah, if you're born there, you're a woman, you they still treat you like they did back in the day. I'm still a slave. I have no rights as a woman. But if you move there, yeah, and you're a woman, you're free to do whatever you want. So the locals are screwed. But the locals are screwed. So I was like, oh, well, this is awkward. Okay, that's why you're here for a better life. Got it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Well, I yeah, I remember that. That's right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I was like, oh, okay. Uh, last thing we're gonna talk about today. Uh, we are running out of time here. And once again, even on this topic, hey, you know what, if you're a Muslim and you want to say something, uh, thefamilybusiness.chat at gmail.com. We'd love to hear your what your thoughts are. And uh we're gonna move on. One topic. It's kind of been floating around, I would say for a couple years now, even I would even argue before COVID, it's kind of died down a little bit. And I think a lot of this free speech, right wing, people not afraid to say what's on their mind anymore, kind of thing, with Trump really helped. And of course, with Elon buying Twitter, you know, allowing free speech now and stuff like that, I think that people are less scared to share their opinions. Yeah, the woke woke is dying, I hope. It is, it is. I think the pendulum is slowly swinging, okay? Alright. And I think that's what's scaring the left a lot. Talking about woke, okay, I know we touched on transgenderism last week. Alright, last episode. But I want to go back to it, but from a different POV. Okay. Alright, different point of view. I'm gonna say three words. I know you hate when I do this, but I'm gonna say three words and your initial thoughts right off the hop, okay? Alright. Transgenderism in sports.
SPEAKER_00You wanna you want a reaction?
SPEAKER_01I w I wanna know, I'm just that's all I'm gonna say. I wanna know what we're when I say transgenderism in sports, what what do you think of? What's your reaction?
SPEAKER_00Right. I think I think that that's not even that's inconceivable. That that's just that's just stupid. Have you seen the Olympics before like a boxer, a female boxer that was born a male, yeah, kicked the living crap out of the female box. It wasn't okay if if it was at least relatively close, not even close.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. That's that's stupidity. It was a big issue a few years ago. Alright. Now it's slowly dying down to the point where some states have even banned it. Many states have banned it. It's illegal in a lot of states. Sure. The thing uh wasn't it actually, wasn't it Donald Trump who made that comment about the WNBA? He's like, I'll get all the LeBron James, I'll get all these guys. I think so. And we'll compete in the WNBA, we'll win every single game. Yeah. You know? 500 and zero. Are there good female athletes? 1000%. I would say that there are a few, not a lot, a few female athletes that can actually compete with men. I'll I'll I will say that. I will I will what sport? Well, it depends. Depends, okay, yeah, sure. Like, you're not gonna put a female in football. Okay. Do you remember? I believe, I don't know what year it was, but I'm I'm gonna test your trivia here. Famous Kenyan female hockey player. You you can you can give me a smirk. She wanted to be the first female to compete in in men's sports. Yep. Now there was that goalie. That's who I'm thinking of. That's not who I'm thinking about. Oh, because she only played in a preseason game for Tampa Bay. A French goalie. Menon Riam. Yes. Yes, I remember that. But she just played as she just played goalie. So there's another player. There was somebody else. Once I see the name, you're gonna be like, oh, that's right. She currently works for the Toronto Maple Leafs, actually. And the management. Oh. She went to Europe and she actually played in the men's league. How did she do? Okay, well, she scored a couple goals. Oh, okay. Well, there you are. Right. But she clearly, and she even said, I'm not good enough to play in the NHL. Right. Okay. It was uh Haley Wickenheiser.
SPEAKER_00Really?
SPEAKER_01Okay. Yeah. She wanted to do that, whatever, whatever. But she's a darn good player, though. Sh yeah, but still not good enough. You know what? Still not good enough to be in the dub to be in the uh AHL for Crying Out Loud. Okay. The issue is, and what was it? It was the 15U team from Dallas, soccer. 15-year-olds. Yep. Played the Women's Olympic American national team. Right. And they beat them like 8-0 or 9-0. It wasn't even close. The 15-year-olds. The boys. At the end of the day, call me a f call me an anti-feminist, whatever you want to call me. The way that that we are created, okay, men are stronger than women. It's a different human being. That's just the reality of, hey, are there women who can outlift me? Sure. But in general, okay, just the way that our bodies were created versus the way that women's bodies were created. That's just the reality of it. Okay? Once we accept that as a society, I'm not saying men are better than a woman. It's not what I'm saying. Don't don't don't twist my words. But at the end of the day, men were created in a different way than women were. Okay. Even these WNBA players who complain all the time that, oh, I'll beat you one-on-one, whatever, whatever, none of them actually win. You can get the worst NBA player, okay? He plays the least amount of minutes. He's on the worst team in the league.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01He is still better than the best WNBA, excuse me, than the best WNBA player. Now, if you're standing in one spot, you know that there's that chick, uh, Caitlin Clark. Which is she's very good. She could probably hit more threes than some guys, sure. But when the game is on the line and the physicality kicks in, sure, which is part of the game, she will not be able to compete. Okay. Transgenderism, what's happening is you're getting these men who aren't good enough, and I'll just say it, aren't good enough to be competitive in men's sports, so they have to go down. Can you kill them? They have to go down and compete with the woman. Why? Because they are weaker. That is not a shot at woman. When I say they are weaker, it's not a shot at woman. But every male that has entered the quote-unquote woman's space, okay, for sports, always dominate. Right? There was that one, when it was the last, I believe, two Summer Olympics ago, there was that swimmer. Oh, God. But eventually the IO IOC stepped in and they said, no, we're not, we're not going to allow it. She broke every woman's record. She broke, even in high schools. Uh at first it was going viral because the left, of course, were criticizing them. And it happened in a lot of states, mostly volleyball. All right. But in volleyball, uh, a lot of these teams that were going to the state final, state championships had, well, I'm not going to call them true. They had men playing in the women's teams. So whenever they would show up and they were and they would know who these people are, they refused to take the court. They would forfeit.
SPEAKER_00Well, okay, okay. Let's let's use their language. The girl was born on guy. Yeah. See, uh who's a really good female tennis star? You know what? Let's just go old school. Let's go, let's go, let's go, Serena Williams. Serena Williams. And that's exactly who I was hoping you would say. Yeah. And they uh the left asked her, What do you think of uh you know playing against males and oh yeah? And she goes, It's a different game. Yeah, I am the best female, one of the people.
SPEAKER_01At the time she was number one when she said this.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And I would play number 400, and he would beat me set straight.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's a different game. It's a different human being. Um, like I think we were in the car once, and I said, Well, uh, I think Usain Bolt. Right. He's the fastest human, or what one of, or whatever. He's quick. Put him up against a horse and see what happens, see how quick he is. You can't even compare. Right. And the fact these idiots, okay. Well, let me ask you this then. All right. Name me um how many uh athletes born female are competing in the male sports? Zero. Why? It's the same, isn't it? That's the double standard right there. If if guy people born male are competing with females, why aren't people born female competing with males? You know why? Because they know it's not possible. You can't. Yeah. I mean, I I've you know, I I I've said this to you a couple of times. If I can go into a time machine to my teenage self and and and read some of the stories that are happening today, I would never believe me. As society like, okay, I remember as a teenager, and we were as you know, society is going bad and it's it's getting worse, and I would never conceive such idiocy, such stupidity. I mean, it's it's it's it's just supposed to be common sense. She's she's a female. Now, there are a lot of things that females are much better at than at with that guys are. 100%. Because they are separate human beings, they're different. And you know what? Me as a hetero, I I thank God for those differences. Yeah. You know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I believe it was it was actually here in Toronto, where there was two colleges, two local colleges, and in the women's division in volleyball, I'm gonna fact check myself, but if I'm not mistaken, it might I I could be mixing up my stories with another another uh state or a province, but in the final, in the collegiate final, both the teams, all five members on the court for both teams, were all transgendered. Oh, come on. And then and then they have they have I believe, I believe, let me call me, you know what? This is worth it. Let me look this up quickly. I don't want to butcher her name because she deserves all the credit in the world.
SPEAKER_00Um but just follow me on this. Where I mean, this is pure idiocy. It's not, you know, uh uh, you know, political jargon and political uh arguments. It's just stupid. Right. I mean uh it's you know, and where the logic is, and and of course, if you want to send me an email and tell me I'm out of place, you know what? I am willing to listen. If you can make a valid argument for transgender uh athleticism, that uh that trans women can play can uh people born as males turn into women and they can compete in women's sports. If you can give me a valid argument, I'll give you this much. I will listen and and you know what? And I'll if I'm wrong, if I'm wrong, I will say I'm wrong. But you know what?
SPEAKER_01If I would have more respect, do what Haley Wickenheiser did. Right. Yeah. You know, if you really want to show us that we're equal, then okay, you know what? Sure, let's you know what? Let's get let's get a couple of the of the girls from the PWHL to suit up in the NHL game and see how they do.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, but okay. We had this, uh this is going back a few years. Uh, and it's when I was in high school, uh, we had this girl that wanted to try out for the football team. And the coach was rolling his eyes, the mother was one of these parents, but I don't think they were called Karen's, they were called demons. Anyway, so she was fighting to get her daughter to try out for the football team. Well, the problem is no guy was gonna hit her. Yeah. I mean, she had the ball. So the coach is yelling, get her!
SPEAKER_01No guy is gonna hit a girl. Right. That's it. We had the same scenario in our in our high school in football. There was this one girl, mind you, this is gonna sound horrible. She might have been 300 pounds. Big girl, okay. Big girl. Perfect lineman. Yeah, I guess. Right? But it's the same thing. Like, no, I'm not gonna hit her. And then, oh, well, you you you you're you're being you're being whatever, you're being uh misogynistic. No, it's that's that's got nothing to do with that. Yeah. You know, that's just it's just certain things need to stay the way they are for a reason. And I believe that woman and men's sport is the reason why. Is it a perfect example of why it needs to stay the way it is, you know? And in terms of this whole transgenderism, what I would say, and I'm gonna be very insensitive here, if you're a guy and you're not good enough to compete at the highest level in your sport, then guess what? That sport's not for you. Move on, buddy. Oh, you can common sense. Don't, don't, don't, don't take testosterone or whatever hormones and try to become a woman just to compete. You're a loser. Yeah. That's not even, you know what? Putting the transgenderism thing aside for a second, which is tough to do here, but just a man wanting to do that, going to compete in woman's sports, and to say that we're not being equal. Well, we're not sensitive. We're not we're not sensitive, we're not giving the transgender their rights to compete.
SPEAKER_00Look, if you want to wear a dress and if okay, if you want to become a woman, all right. Become a woman. I'm not stopping you. Right. But but you know what? Darn it, you're not going to the female bathroom when my daughter's in there. You know, that that's that uh that I will uh I will stop. Like uh you see everybody is so sensitive. Nobody wants to call a spade a spade. You know what? Call it a spade! Yeah, you know, uh I I was uh uh I was in Toronto. This this would have been a couple of months ago, and um I'm leaving the parking lot, and this guy is walking and he dropped his keys. So instinctively, I say, excuse me, sir, you dropped your keys. He turns around.
SPEAKER_01How dare you call me, sir?
SPEAKER_00That's exactly he flipped out, he goes, I'm a man.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00And I said, Really? Well, your your mustache and Adam's apple gives you away. Yeah, I see a sir. And he got so angry at me. And you know what? Somebody look from the outside looking in, I'm the bad guy. Right. I'm the one that's insensitive. Yeah. I'm sorry, but I I see a dude. You know, my lying, uh, you know, I I happen to wear glasses, so my lying four eyes.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00And then then what? No, I I'm just I'm sorry. I see him now, now that he said he's he's a he's uh he's a woman, or he claims to be, okay, from that point, if I even want to talk to that person, you know, to to not to be rude, I would say, oh, sorry, ma'am. But be until then, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You know, it's like see you touched something there, and I actually agree with that. You know what? And to me, that's just respect. Okay. Listen, I made it very clear what my stance is on transgenderism. In my opinion, okay, and I I will say this, I will stand in my opinion, I think it's demonic. Right. Personally. So do I. It's my opinion. If somebody comes to me, a transgender, I'm not gonna disrespect them. If a transgender person came to me and said, hey, I would prefer, or let's here's an example. We go to a restaurant, and our waiter clearly, as bad as it sounds, you can clearly tell, most of the time, that the person's transgendered. And the person comes and says, Hey, just so you guys know, I'd prefer if you called me ma'am. Ma'am, yeah. You know what? Out of respect, ma'am. Sure. Social issue. Social obedience. I still, I still disagree. I still think you're possessed. Yeah. But you know what? Okay, whatever. Ma'am, sure. Yeah. I have no problem with the big. I don't, but I mean, I don't know. It's it's it's the the the girl I was thinking of is uh Riley Gaines. That's a swimmer? Yeah, she was that swimmer, and now she's like leading the whole thing. Oh, yeah. Did you see who she was competing? Yeah, Lita Thomas. Her Anne's apple's bigger than mine.
SPEAKER_00It's like and and and and she had a change in the same change room. Yeah. Like, what the hell is going on? See, I I'm I'm glad my kids are all adults because if I had if I if my girls were young and I had a guy, and I you know what, you'd be bailing me out of jail. 100%. I I wouldn't I wouldn't stand for it.
SPEAKER_01Well, there was that incident. I I'm not I I don't know her, I forget her name. It's Lily or something. She's like a TikTok influencer and she's transgendered. Right? And she always goes, she I'll I'll call her she. She always goes to like restaurants and whatever. And I think she does it on purpose, but whenever I'll show you a picture later. Clearly, I mean still looks like a guy, just wearing just has a wig on and wears dresses. And whenever waiters will say sir, she'll be like, I've asked you not to call me sir. Thank you. Okay, no problem. And then, but of course, the waiters that whatever. So they'll come back. How's your food, sir? How you doing? And she'll snap. But she's recorded it all. Oh, of course. So she was at Disneyland, she's an adult. She went to Disneyland by herself. Keep in mind, Disneyland. I mean, predominantly kids. Are there adults who love Disneyland? Yeah, sure. Weird. But my- I wouldn't go myself. No. Yeah. She went herself, and like I said, it's all just a show. She recorded herself walking to a female bathroom. And there's and she's recording, and she blurred them out, but there's a bunch of kids in there. See, that's freaky. But how dare you criticize her and not give her the same rights that we have? She is a woman now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but you know what? I'd even go farther. You shouldn't even be recording in a bathroom anyway. Well, that's that's the whole that that was a whole different argument, yeah.
SPEAKER_01But then she's in a restaurant and she's explaining. She was doing it on camera, but you could tell she was doing it loud, there's a lot of people around. Kids around, and she's talking about like hot dogs and cutting wieners off, and this and that's like you're just stupid. But but he actually that's a bad example because even the trans community wasn't a big fan of her. Uh, last thing I just want to say as we move on. Uh, I forgot to write this down. So Canada, good old Canada, now has a brand new acronym. Oh. Alright. For um, because remember, it used to be the official government, uh, the official acronym used by the government of Canada was 2SLGBTQ1 plus. Oh, for the love of God. What is it? Which stands for two spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex, plus additional sexual and gender diverse communities. Oh, Jesus. Does this get any better? Oh, it does. Oh, it gets better than that. Oh, it gets better. So they've officially passed it. Where the new alright, this is this is wild. I can't believe I'm ended on this. The new acronym, and it's going through debate. Alright. I'm trying to find the exact I have the acronym, but I want to sh I want to say exactly what it means. Hold on a second here. Uh give me a second. Give me a second. Okay, I got it. So they have now expanded it to M M I W G T S L G B T Q Q I A plus.
SPEAKER_00What in the sweet six-letter of the alphabet is that?
SPEAKER_01You know what it reminds me of? When you make a new account on a website or anything, and it tells you, do you want to use this password? If not, create your own. It's like that hard password. Yeah. M M. I don't know if that's two or it's supposed to be one. No, it's two. M M2W G Two S L G B T Q Q I A plus. Which stands for. I didn't take a breath for this one. Are you ready for this? No, but go ahead. Alright. So one more time for you listeners. The plus is kind of fun to say, I'm not gonna lie. M M Two W G Two S L G B T Q Q I A plus. The expanded term refers to. Here we go. Alright. Missing and murdered indigenous woman, girls, two spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual plus people. Boom. Welcome to Canada.
SPEAKER_00You know what? I'm gonna tell you this. If this this is this is what comes to my mind. If God does not judge Canada, then he's gonna have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. Yeah, seriously, right? You know? That's harsh. Yeah. I mean, you gotta be kidding me. Why why don't they just just just say Rocky Horror Picture Show?
SPEAKER_01And the plus? I always want to know what the plus was. Plus? I remember the one kid on a on a street, I think it was TikTok. He was like, What's plus? Is it like a premium subscription? Oh Lord have mercy. Uh no, the plus stands for it's inclusive of people who identify as part of a sexual and gender diverse community, not explicitly named. Oh my goodness. What does it what whatever happened to male and female? Well, it's funny. What is it? There's that shirt you could buy online, any website on eBay or and it says there are more than two genders. Okay. Okay. It was a famous viral shirt when the movement first started. And it literally just says in Rainbow, there are more than two genders. Okay. When you go to check out to select the size, it's only male or female. There's only two genders.
SPEAKER_00That's good.
SPEAKER_01Once again, thank you for listening. Um, if you have any uh feedback, please let us know. We love it. We'd love to interact with you guys. Uh it is the familybusiness.chat at gmail.com. One question for you as we close. 1986. All right. That was the year. We always revert to back back to 1986. There were two big world events that happened in 1986. Okay. One happened in the States, one happened in your in uh Europe. Name the two biggest things that happened in 1986. Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um in America, in 1986, the Challenger blew up. That would be January 28th. I rem I I I was in date. Well, I don't want to say, but I I saw it with my own eyes live.
SPEAKER_01The shuttle broke apart 73 seconds into the flight, killing all seven crew members, including, I don't know why they mentioned this, including teacher Krista. Krista McCulliff. McCulloff, yeah. Why was she so fake? Why is her name stuck in?
SPEAKER_00Because she was the first, I think she was the first teach like civilian.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_00That makes sense then. I remember driving, we were driving uh on uh on Highway 1, A1A, and we pulled over because we could see the shuttle. Oh, so you actually saw Bo? I actually physically saw the shuttle. Like explode. Explode. My mom was going, is that supposed to be supposed to know mom, something's not right. And then we saw, and it was like uh uh like a like a rainbow, like not rainbow, but like um like the explosion. A cloud? Like a cloud, everything.
SPEAKER_01All did you guys read far enough away we didn't feel the impact of it? No, no, we didn't.
SPEAKER_00We uh we were about 60 miles away. Yeah, but you can still see it. That's true. We saw it perfectly. But but the thing is is that uh then when when it blew apart, um the the actual explosion, the big fireball, and then the two booster rockets, then they went aside and then they were then they were programmed, then they got together again and kept going. Uh but the actual shuttle itself was in a million pieces and it was falling into the ocean. I saw it live. That's cool. I didn't know I actually didn't know that.
SPEAKER_01I feel like you told me that before, but um, if you actually, one quick thing, if you want to look into controversy or or um what's the word I'm looking for? Conspiracy?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01The last shuttle that took off supposedly last week, I think it was the Artemis II we talked about. Yep. Watch the takeoff video. You see four pods, four small pods uh on the side taking off or moving away from it as it took off. People are speculating it was supposed to be the people. Uh, one last thing global event. And the other global event would have been Chernobyl. Chernobyl nuclear disaster. April 26th, a reactor exploded at a nuclear power station in the Soviet Union, which is now Ukraine, creating the world's worst nuclear disaster. I remember that. I mean, we talked about this before. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching the show Chernobyl on I believe it's HBO. Oh, okay. Oh, it's it's a I think it's a six-episode short series. Very, very good. And historians will say it's the most accurate in the world. Okay. So once again, any inquiries, feedbacks, please let us know the family business dot chat at gmail.com. See you next week.
SPEAKER_02Told them you were living downtown, driving all the old men quiz.
