You are listening to the Family Business Podcast, episode number ten. For business inquiries, please contact us at thefamybusiness.chat at gmail.com. We are back. Uh right right off the hop, I need to I need to make a public apology. Because, you know, if you're if you're a full-time listener, you would know that we're not really big on social media, even though we should be. Um, we ended up actually, we were so busy with work that we actually did not have a chance. Like, I promise you, there was no chance to sit down and record even two hours last uh last Thursday or last Friday. So uh we apologize to that. And believe it or not, we actually received, I know it's only two, it's not a big deal, but two people reached out to us uh wondering where the episode was. Oh email. So uh if you uh if you know who you are, so we thank you for your concern. But no, everything is good. We haven't gone anywhere. Uh, as a matter of fact, we're gonna give you guys two episodes um this week uh just to get caught up. This week, um I'll be going away. This weekend, I'll be going away for the weekend, so I won't be here. So look for an episode release, most likely Friday afternoon. And then obviously, whenever you listen to this one. Um, so our apologies. Uh, there is real no way to let you guys know at the moment. No mass email, no mass post, no anything like that.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna say, well, your parole officer let you go. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh but we're at the hot drink for this uh this week. We are going back, I believe it was a couple weeks ago, but we are going back to a good old Diet Coke. So I believe that's Donald Trump's favorite. It is. And apparently there's some scientific research that came out this week that Diet Coke is actually very healthy for you. I I I personally don't buy it. It's coke. I mean, apparently, if you're for weight loss, for like ADD, which I don't believe in that disease, but that's a whole different point. Uh, all these different diseases, apparently Diet Coke is very, very, very, very good for you.
SPEAKER_01Well, we had we have family in New Jersey that uh one of the kids ordered a whole bunch of uh fatty foods, but then he he justified it with a diet coke.
SPEAKER_02Justified with a diet coke. Well, I'm taking a swig right now. Nothing beats it, no sugar, no calories.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. It's pretty good. It's still Coca-Cola. I don't care what anybody tells me.
SPEAKER_02No, the scary thing about Coca-Cola, I don't know if you've seen it, but um, you know, regular Coke. I don't know about diet. I you can fact-check me on this, listeners, but I know for a fact that regular Coca-Cola is actually very, very good usage for products around the house that have rust on it. Right. Yeah. I saw those clips. Yeah, and then even like very dirty, dirty toilets that's stuff that bleach can't get out. Apparently put some pours of diet coke in there, uh regular coke in there, let it soak for a couple, a couple hours, and then flush it'll go away.
SPEAKER_01Well, apparently the uh the local police departments use coke to get the blood off the pavement.
SPEAKER_02So let me ask you this. Blood off the pavement, very dirty crowd on the toilet, it rusts, cleans all that stuff out. How can that be good for you ingesting that stuff into your body? Well, clearly it isn't.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it's acid. You know. When you get a nail, you you tie a nail to uh to a string and put it in a coke and then it disappears. It disappears, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Tell me how that's healthy.
SPEAKER_01Oh Lord.
SPEAKER_02Uh, right off the hop, I have a question for you. Okay. I know we do, we'd like to do some trivia stuff at the end, um, but I I saw this video and actually um, you know, I'm not I'm not gonna ruin it because even my response to this question might give it give it away. Okay. So obviously, you know, we're we're we're a podcast, we probably talk about political things, and not only in Canada, excuse me, but also the USA. All right. I would say predominantly we're USA because let's be honest, king and politics are boring. Um, but this question has to do with both Canada and US. All right, all right. So here it is, and listen very carefully. How many states have a northernmost point that is more north than Canada's southernmost point?
SPEAKER_01Do you understand what I'm asking? I know exactly what you um I oh boy, I would say one, two, three, four. I'm gonna guess five.
SPEAKER_02That's your final answer. That's my final answer. What if I told you that more than half of the US states actually have a northernmost point more than Canada's southernmost point? The answer is twenty-seven. Twenty-seven states? Twenty-seven states have a northernmost point more than Canada's southernmost point. 27. And that includes California. I guess on the uh you look at the map of the US and you look at so I obviously we're sitting across the room, so I can't get you to come here. Uh just the way our setup is. Yeah, it makes makes sense.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. 27 though, really. 27. Wow. I lost it here. But yeah, there's 27 states. I'm just thinking of the northern states and then you know the southern tier of Ontario and everything. Right, right. So wow.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's why do you remember back in 2019 when the Toronto Raptors they were uh in the NBA finals? Right. And the slogan, which still sticks today for the Raptors, are We the North. We the North, yeah. Right? Well, I forgot shoot, what team was it? We played a team that was actually more Milwaukee. It's more North than Toronto. In Toronto, and we were and we were We the North when really the team we're playing technically was more north than than we are.
SPEAKER_00We the Canucks. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_02Um, all right, so the first thing I want to talk about uh this episode, like I said, because we're going to um I have a whole list, but we might cut it very short this episode. This is more just to let you guys know we're still around, we're still here. It's just, hey, sometimes life just hits you. Uh and to be honest with you, the fact that I could say, hey, we had no time to record is not necessarily a bad thing. Because the business is the busier we are, the more, you know, the more that business successful our businesses are. True. Um, but did you know, you know, obviously on this podcast, I would consider us more of a political podcast more than a Christian podcast. Than a religious podcast. Yeah, than a religious spirituality podcast. Okay. Like if I'm looking at the sections, right, of what kind of a podcast we are, if I only had to pick one, I would pick political over religious slash spirituality. Okay. Alright, fair enough. But but in saying that, a lot of the things we talk about, we do tie then a lot of biblical aspects to our opinions and our beliefs. That is our existence. That's just, you know, we're wired that way. And heck, I would even argue to say that the firm foundation of the US Constitution was built off of biblical backings and biblical beliefs. Judeo-Christian. So I was doing some studying, and uh, did you know that being a Democrat and being a Republican is actually scriptural?
SPEAKER_00Okay, uh expand on that.
SPEAKER_02Like it actually talks about one and the other in the Bible. Ecclesiastes 10, verse 2. A wise man's heart directs him towards the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him towards the left.
SPEAKER_01That's not scripture.
SPEAKER_02That is scripture. That is in the Bible.
SPEAKER_01I mean, look, look around you like so.
SPEAKER_02Basically, what the Bible is saying is that you are a fool if you are a Democrat. A wise man's heart directs him towards the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him towards the left.
SPEAKER_01The Bible says it, and so does every uh what do you call it, every poll out there that says that the Democrats are at uh at 20%.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, obviously the Bible's not actually referring. For those of you obviously we're not stupid, obviously it's not literally referring to Republicans and Democrats, but it's funny how it says the right and as foolish as the left. Well, for those of you who don't know, the left obviously is being a liberal or being a Democrat.
SPEAKER_01Now keep in mind, now to the ones that don't understand this, because in in the scripture, Jesus is seated at the what hand of the Father? The right hand of the Father.
SPEAKER_02And that's what that verse is technically referring to. Right. Oh no, I just saw that. I thought I thought that was pretty pretty stupid, but pretty funny. I just thought that's yeah. Um what have you heard about this whole, I don't know about pronouncing it right, the Hontavirus.
SPEAKER_01Um what's the last you heard about it? The last I heard is there's a bunch of people on a ship, and then they were uh they were escorted off the ship and then they went to aeroplanes. Um it's not uh it's it's not not too much.
SPEAKER_02Well, so there have been 11 confirmed cases in Canada. All right. Okay now we talked about this last time. We said that we honestly don't believe that a virus like this is gonna cause the next pandemic.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_02Right? I think we both agree that if there's going to be another pandemic, it's gonna be one of electronic or information or whatever. Information or stuff like that. But you have your phone on you? I do. Just to show you how naive and how stupid people are. Okay? Okay. I want you to Google the Greek word, uh, sorry, the Hebrew word for Honta.
SPEAKER_01H-A-N-T-A. Oh, hold on, hold on. Let me do that.
SPEAKER_02Uh I want you to read it out loud.
SPEAKER_01I'm sorry, hold on. Sorry for the delay, guys. Um uh spell spell that again? H-A-N-T-A. H A N T A. Honta. Uh the Hebrew meaning.
SPEAKER_02Apologize, my dog is drinking his water in the background.
SPEAKER_01You're struggling over there, aren't you? I am. Okay, here we go. Uh in Hebrew slang, hanta pronounce uh means information often used to dismiss story situation, claim of a hoax or fake. So read it, read it. I'm waiting for you to read it. It's an uh colloquial inform um information term often used to dismiss a story, a situation, or a claim as a hoax. Fake or fabrication, right?
SPEAKER_02So not only I I saw that online, so these people are so stupid that they have this quote-unquote hontavirus, which literally means a hoax virus. And people are so stupid that I don't know if you noticed, but if you go around in some areas, people are taking this thing seriously. People are wearing masks. We went to a restaurant today, and that guy was wearing a mask. You know, and people are preparing. They have hantavirus um syndrome or something. Uh no, they have hantavirus like packs like you can buy at stores to protect you. Yeah. Oh, jeez. Because people believe that this will be the next COVID if we don't take things seriously. Oh Lord. And last I heard, CDC is actually in the middle of they're keeping an eye on it, because if this becomes has an outbreak, they're gonna be ready, quote unquote, with a backseat. Of course. Right? So I I just think this is another example of how people are stupid and they'll believe anything they tell them.
SPEAKER_01Well, stupid is is uh it's a strong word, but very naive and very um uh what do you when you know when you believe anything they tell you? What was the word I'm looking for? Sheeple? Well, sheeple, yeah. Uh but they're gullible. Gullible, okay. Very gullible. And uh uh you know the thing is this, uh, even during that uh that farce that we had six years ago, I mean, if you questioned it, you got in trouble. Why if you said anything online about it, they would shut you down. Why? I I I don't understand.
SPEAKER_02Because they want to take away your freedom of speech?
SPEAKER_01It's it's the control factor. Right. It's uh, you know, uh, and control factor is, in my opinion, is very demonic.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, 100%. So 100%. Um let me let me ask you this. Okay, we're we're moving on from that. I just wanted to bring that up. That is funny though. Like I said, we just uh we're just gonna rapid fire a few topics uh today. You I believe it was last episode, not last one, the one before. You mentioned that at one of the offices of the place you work, they were gonna shut down the entire building from from a certain time to a certain time because a uh female Muslim was gonna take her hijab off for her photo for a driver's license.
SPEAKER_01Right, and no man can have can see her.
SPEAKER_02Okay. What if I were to tell you, I'm I'm gonna bring it to our our region, okay. Um growing up, it's not the same anymore, but back in the day it used to be a good place to go. We would go to Marineland a lot.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Uh for Marineland is basically the equivalent in the States for US listeners, is like SeaWorld. Yeah. Pretty lower scale, but basically a SeaWorld. What if I were to tell you that Marineland, okay, which is government funded, it's not private, came out with an advertisement that on this certain date the building, the the Marineland is gonna be closed and only open uh for Muslims, for an e an exclusive Muslim day event being held at Marineland.
SPEAKER_01What I would say. What would you say? I'd say, well, you guys made a mistake. This is not Jordan, this is Canada. Right. We can't you can't do that. Right. Public funds in what I can't I you know what I would purposely drive there that day in demand entrance. If they're taking any of my tax dollars, then they're not gonna do a Muslim day. You can't right.
SPEAKER_02Well, we're gonna probably stay in the state of Texas for the rest of this episode, but that is exactly what happened in Texas. Well, they actually had a Muslim day. There's this person whose name is Amina Knight, okay, who is a Muslim.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02She decided to rent, so it's not not cheap. She decided to rent the entire uh water park on June 1st. It was for the celebration of, I'm gonna butcher this, so I I apologize. Um, I think it's E-I-D E-E-Ed, which is an examic holy day that celebrates devotion and sacrifice. Eid or Eid, whatever you pronounce it. Okay. So on the actual advertisement, it was very clear, an event for Muslims only. And the whole point in that, okay, was so that people would they would close the water park only for Muslims so that the woman could go and enjoy themselves. They would still have to wear their hijabs and all that, but at least they could feel safe in an environment that is subtle for what they believe in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but they they run around with their hijabs all the time. In the malls and the in the stores, and whatever. So, but here's the thing: the only thing I would say, if that lady actually paid all those tickets to capacity, that's a different story.
SPEAKER_02Okay, hold on. We're gonna get there in one sec. So the event organizer, Amina Knight, she told the news outlet that the whole goal of the event was she she didn't she is shocked that this became a big deal. Okay. She said the whole goal of the event was to promote modesty, and it was never about excluding other faiths from the event. Her quote, we're just saying that for one day, we are curating a space where people who value modesty can come together. It's a family-friendly event, and they will also need to adhere to modesty, which means wearing swim shirts and trunks.
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_01You know what? Some of some of these uh these uh strips of uh strips of string that these women wear, that's not that's not a bad idea.
SPEAKER_02What is her quote, she continues, what is being betrayed is that the park is shutting down to have Muslims only. I am which is not the case, she is saying. I'm curating this event for the Muslim community for which I'm a part of, so that we can gather and have a good time in a modest environment that is rare for water parks.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Um, Canada Wonderland has no black day, so imagine that. Can you imagine? Like, or well, well, if you're Asian, you can't go. Yeah, because this is this is for Swedish people only. Like, come on, give it a rest.
SPEAKER_02Uh, the legislature also passed a bill banning Sharia law in Texas, a law that Abbott pointed to when addressed in the June 1st celebration. He called the event religious discrimination and unconstitutional. 100%. Uh the organizer then quoted and called all conservative attacks hypocritical, which I think this is far fetched. She said, I think it's quite funny that we're getting pushback from other conservative groups because what people don't realize sometimes is that most Muslims aren't conservative. I mean, that thing that we're trying to do with this event is have a modest dress code. That's pretty conservative, is it not? I think that's taken very out of context, what she's saying by that.
SPEAKER_01Well, no, yeah, it's conservative if you you know, convert or die. Yeah, that's pretty conservative. Right.
SPEAKER_02So, anyway, so so what happened, what ended up happening was is that Greg Abbott, right? God bless Greg Abbott, um, because it is a publicly funded water park.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02He basically said, you know what, go ahead. Go ahead and do it. We're fine with it. No problem. All right? You guys, if you want to, even if you want to say Muslims only, you know, whatever, whatever, that's fine with it. But be prepared to lose $530,000 of state funded money for this water park. What did the water park do?
SPEAKER_01Cancel the event. Well, sure, it's all like Ilan Ilhan Omar said, it's all about the Benjamins, baby. Right. Right. Wow. So so I I mean that uh Governor Abbott doesn't fool around.
SPEAKER_02Okay, no, we're we're we're gonna we're gonna stick in Texas for a sec. Okay. Okay. So keep that in mind. Uh where is it here? Where is it? Okay. There's a high school in Texas, okay, it's called Willie East High School. All right. And there's been lots of controversies going on with this high school. Controversy. So first, alright, the students that formed a Christian alliance group at the high school, all right, okay, noticed that there are no Bibles in the library.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Which, okay, you know, it's Texas, so you would think there would be, but not I mean, okay, okay, sure. Maybe no religious material at all. Okay, I don't like it, but I don't like it, but you know, okay, fine, it is what it is. But here's the problem there was no Bibles, but there were Qurans.
SPEAKER_01How does that make sense?
SPEAKER_02Right. And check this out. What happened was there was one day, uh it was May May 8th or something like that. Um there was this group of Muslims from a Muslim group. Okay, they set up a Outside the high school with the slogan, Why Islam? And they handed out a bunch of Quran, a bunch of pamphlets about Sharia law and about like the purpose of hijab. Sorry, this happened in February.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Alright. No one said a word. The office administration didn't say anything. No one caused the fight.
SPEAKER_00Ooh, I think I know where you're going with this.
SPEAKER_01I hope I'm wrong.
SPEAKER_02But of course, a lot of parents got really upset that school did nothing about it. Alright. Keep in mind, I'm going to say this again. This is Texas. Okay? There's a reason why I keep saying this is Texas. Because Texas is basically, in a way, its own country.
SPEAKER_01Texas is the heart of America, so to speak.
SPEAKER_02Okay. And they don't fool around in Texas. Right. A counter-response surfaced, all right, when this uh new uh this local Fort Worth radio host, all right, he got wind, Christian radio host got wind, what happened. Right. So they went back to that high school and they did the same thing. They stood up an exact same spot and they had a sign that read Bibles, not Quran's. And they were handing out Jesus, they were handing little Jesus figurines, and they were spreading the gospel, Bible, Bible, Bible. Right. What do you think happened? They probably got shut down. They got shut down. The school board came out, the principal came out, we don't allow any religious activities, no, no religion uh materials allow to be handed out to our students.
SPEAKER_01Now, is this in result of what they did of the uh of the Quran? Because they banned the the the uh the parents freaked out of the Quran, possibly. What do you mean? Well, when the parents lost their minds, why are you handing out Qurans and all that? Yeah. So maybe because of that, and now they say, okay, nope, nobody.
SPEAKER_02But the whole issue is they didn't have an issue with the Quran's being handed out. But they had an issue with the Bibles being handed out.
SPEAKER_01Do you know why they don't? I I saw this on a short. Uh US Congress doesn't want the Ten Commandments on the wall. You know why? Why? Because in the uh in the in the Ten Commandments, there's thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness. And they do all that stuff. So it's so it's crazy for them. Uh it it's getting it's getting really ridiculous. And this is what this is where um my my uh theological upbringing. Um it's it's all Satan, in in my opinion. The devil's doing his job and and and the and the people are the uh sorry, let me let me say it correctly. The sheeple are useful idiots for the kingdom of darkness. You see, um if I if you if you uh listen to some of these former Muslims, they are saying flat out it's satanic. Yeah, it's not these like uh back in the 80s, there's a guy named Salman Rushdie, and he wrote a book called The Satanic Verses. The world went nuts, the Muslims went nuts. Iran put a four million dollar bounty on his head. Wow, because and and Salman Rushdie was and he was saying, look, these are these are satanic verses. Satanic. So I mean, you know, call it what it is. And um, and a lot of US polit politicians now are starting to wake up and they're saying, No, you come to America, you're you're taking our way of life, and a lot of European comp uh countries now are starting to ban the burqa. And and they're and their response is they're saying, Where the burqa, go back to your country. You're not gonna do it here, right? Uh, I think uh Denmark did it. Um didn't Sweden do it too. I believe I believe Sweden is Sweden or Finland, one of the two. And and they're saying no more, we've had enough. Because the people see what this is, they want to take over. And you know, uh, and and listeners, you think I I'm anti-Muslim or anything. I I don't care for the religion, and and I don't want that lifestyle here. When my parents came to Canada, uh, you know, they they happened to, they just happened to be Christian. Canada used to be a Christian country, uh, United States, Christian country, the the um uh the declaration of independence, the constitution, all Judeo-Christian, you know, the what am I looking for? What word am I that? But that's it's based on that, yeah. So so and these guys are coming. Um, this would have been about 20 years ago when they had this big thing. Why do you call yourself a Chinese American or a or a Vietnamese American or a uh African American? Even African, no, but buddy, you're American, yeah, you're Canadian, and then somebody uh I think one one meme said that you know, if you if you immigrate to China, are you uh Chinese can uh Canadian Chinese? No, you're China. Well, number one, China wouldn't take immigrants, right? America's the only country that you can still have your older uh your other identity. That's ridiculous.
SPEAKER_02So, okay, whole that that whole blurby just said, hold on to that for one second. Come right back to that. So this obviously the school board got involved because not only was it that radio host that started this whole thing, parents who were against the the why Islam movement came out in support. Okay? Alright. So, anyway, so long story short, I'm I'm basically gonna sum I'm gonna summarize this. The principal claimed that she had no idea about the why Islam. She had no idea what they were doing. She basically said, like, you know, they shouldn't have done that, whatever, whatever. I had no idea. Here's the problem. People went back onto her social media and she was promoting the hijab on her social media. Oh, there you go. There's a photo of her wearing it, there's a photo, you know, so it's it's it seemed as if she um she she knew about it and she was okay with it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, and she did tender her resignation, right? Because she lied. Right, right.
SPEAKER_02So sticking with Texas, I just learned about this, but in December, did you know that Texas actually started a Sharia Free America Caucus?
SPEAKER_01Oh, geez. No, I didn't.
SPEAKER_02You didn't know about this, yeah. So the Sharia Free America Caucus is a congressional group of the U.S. House of Representatives launched in December 2025 by Republican representatives Keith South and Chip Roy of Texas. The caucus states its goal is to combat the influence of Islamic law, Sharia, and protect the U.S. Constitution. The Caucus has grown to over 60 Republican members representing more than 20 states. Okay. All right, they're serious. The group aims to push federal and state legislation that prevents U.S. courts from considering Sharia law, strengthening border and immigration vetting, and deny immigration benefits or visas to known adherents of Sharia. Well, clearly. Here's what I want to discuss. It goes back to what you were talking about about about two minutes ago. Um it's actually you sent me this video. You emailed it to me, I believe, earlier this week. All right. Okay. If you look at Sharia law, okay, look at all the Muslim nations. What do they all have in common?
SPEAKER_01Besides that they're crap holes?
SPEAKER_02That is exactly what I want you to say. Oh, they are all crap hole countries. Here's the thing. They don't want to come here, okay, and live the way we want to live. They don't want to come here and abide by our laws. Okay. They want to come here and they want to take over. Clearly.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02Clearly. They want to, you know, their values don't represent any of when I say American values, I would, it's Western values. Okay. Yeah. Why are we allowing these people in?
SPEAKER_01Because here it is. Okay, folks. This is this is gonna really freak you out. I don't want to be a racist. And that's their excuse. Well, if you're against it, you're a racist. Well, don't call me that. You know what? If being against Islam is racist, guess what? I'm gonna put a capital R on my chest. Right, I'm a racist. Oh, yeah, okay, fine. I'm a racist.
SPEAKER_02That's actually, I forget which governor literally said the same thing, what you just said.
SPEAKER_01It's like, come on, guys, give it a race has nothing to do with it. It's a way of life. We have a Western society, we have a Western way of doing things. And these clowns come in here and try to. I I mean, it's where's common sense?
SPEAKER_02So they had they had in Texas, they had at the school board, they had a meeting, a school district meeting, and one parent got up there and he laid into this. He called them all. You guys are a bunch of snowflakes. You guys don't realize that you don't care about today. I care about my kids and my kids' kids. And the way that you guys are going, the things that you are allowing into this country, the way of life, the the people, and allowing them to come in here and overtake our values, overtake our laws. Guess what? Our kids' kids aren't gonna be living here anymore. This isn't gonna be the same America. And shame on you guys for not seeing this. Or shame.
SPEAKER_01We have to be, yeah, but whoa, whoa, we have to be tolerant. No, you see, I'm not gonna be listening somebody's hungry, you know, you know, God, God bless. I I I try to feed him, I try to give him something to eat. Yeah, I'm not inviting him in my home, and he's not gonna sleep in the guest room. Right. I don't know who he is. Do I feel sorry for him? Yeah. Here's a couple of bucks or whatever. But I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna bring him into my home.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And then what? He he he's gonna he's gonna use my home? He's gonna basically that's what the well, well, you have to be tolerant. No, no, I don't. You don't.
SPEAKER_02It's ridiculous. That's the whole. I don't want to say I hate doing this because in the reality of it, it is what it is. That's the whole divide. Let me ask you this, okay? I think, regardless of right, wrong, people's opinions, you know, we talk about Trump all the time. Imagine. Just imagine if Kamala won last election, what would be happening?
SPEAKER_01What would be happening right now? I can't, I can't imagine. I can't even begin to to to fathom the zoo it would have been. I mean, uh I literally would be thinking the second coming is of crazy.
SPEAKER_02Like, we haven't we haven't really touched it, touched on or talked about it, but I encourage all of you listeners, go look at the state of New York right now. Ever since they got that that Muslim mayor.
SPEAKER_00Mondani, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right? New York is go New York will be the next California will be the next LA.
SPEAKER_01Put it this way. There was a story. Uh okay, when when I do you remember uh who who was who was it that said I can't breathe? George Floyd. Okay. What was the coverage of George Floyd? It was everywhere. Everywhere. Okay, now I believe it was in England. This kid, this this kid uh was walking home, and uh this Punjabi Sikh or whatever, uh they got into some sort of altercation, and the and the Sikh took his kerpan, his his ceremonial knife, and stabbed him four times, and this kid is running away. Right. Okay. And what happened was uh they got into a public area and then the police got involved, and the Indian guy said he used a racial slur. You know what happened? They arrested the victim. Right. And the victim said, before he died, I can't breathe. Did you know that story? Right. No. Why? Yeah. News people, wake, wake the heck up. Like what what's what's going on? This agenda. It's it's maddening.
SPEAKER_02See, what I what I what is happening is I I think there was a slight turn with the race agenda. Okay. Because let's let's go back to George Floyd, for example. Oh, white cop kills black kills black guy. Yeah. Well, did you know that every year so far, since records have since statistics are public, okay, or are being recorded, I should say, that more black officers kill black uh black civilians than white cop white cops kill black civilians? 100%. I think there's like six a year. And they don't talk about any of them.
SPEAKER_00That's right.
SPEAKER_02Because they try to have that, they try to make that agenda, okay? I firmly believe, even with race, that the agenda is starting to collapse. I sure as well. I believe you can slowly start to see it. I I really do. You're you're always gonna have your radicals, sure. But based on how it was before, I even firmly believe, well, it doesn't help when BLM gets exposed and all that, but I firmly believe that if you had another George Floyd-ish situation, it wouldn't be as big as it was when George Floyd happened.
SPEAKER_01I sure as heck hopefully.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So now what they're doing is they're taking that narrative, say, okay, we failed at this. Now let's use religion.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02What is more powerful than race? Religion. Right? Even the whole narrative about Muslims are good people, the Sharia law is actually not bad, this and that. Go go look at all their countries. There's a reason why they're trying to come here.
SPEAKER_01Well, we're not trying to go there. Well, you see, and that's and that's the thing, especially, and the police hands are tied. Because there was an incident one time at one of uh one of uh one of the schools where the where your younger siblings went to, and your mother, she with there was a windy day in the in the door, hit this guy's car. I remember this, yeah. And and uh I just happened to have been at home at the time and I was down the street. So your mom calls me and says, get over here quick. I've got a psycho here. And um so the uh so the vice principal's outside and this guy's freaking out. She her door clipped his Honda. His Honda was it was old, it was bad. I mean, there's there's like 20 Nicks on the door. All right, so he starts freaking out. I I show up, I said, Sir, what is what's the issue? And he goes, look what that, and then he used the the proverbial B word, B word, uh, what she did to my car. I said, Hey pal, I don't know where you're from, what part of Kerplacistan you're from, but here in this country, we don't say that about our women, and and you're not gonna say that about my wife. You you say that again, and I'll knock you out. Yeah, so he goes, Are you threatening me? I said, No, sir, I'm not threatening, I'm promising you. Right? And then and then the vice principal was there.
SPEAKER_02And keep in mind, the vice principal, because the vice principal taught me and my older sister, so he knew us. He he knew us.
SPEAKER_01Keep in mind, yes, he knew us, yeah. So I said, You don't you don't say that about my wife? Okay, about the damage to your car. You know what? Here, I will have the entire side. You know what? No, I'll even arrange to have here's my business card. Uh go get a couple of estimates and I'll paint your entire car.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01I don't care, it's not the money.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So he he he got all upset and took off. Right. End of story, you would think. An hour later, the uh the the the Peel Regional Police called me and say, Are you so and so? I said, Yes. Uh we have a gentleman here said that you used a racial slur. I said, really? He goes, yes. He said that you called him a racial slur. I said, uh I said, is there a law? Okay, okay. If if I did, what law did I break? So you're saying you did? I said, no, and that's not what I said. I said, what if I did?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01What law did I break? Right. So and he goes, Well, I just want to hear you say that you called him a racial slur. I said, I'm not gonna answer you, officer. You're gonna go to the school and you're and you're gonna ask the vice principal. He witnessed the whole thing. You ask him if I used a racial slur. Right. And then call me back. And I just hung up on the guy. And um about about 45 minutes later, the officer calls me back apologetically, and he says, No, I spoke with the uh the vice principal that witnessed the entire thing. No, he did not use uh racial, you did not use a racial slur. And I apologize for uh wasting your time. Uh so you have a good day. I said, No, no, no, officer, hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa. No, no, we're not gonna end this. This is just the beginning. He goes, What do you mean? I said, he told you that. So he lied on a police report.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Now what? You he said that I called him a racial slur. He lied. So now you are gonna charge him. Which is technical, which is breaking the law. That's right. So now are you gonna charge him? Yes or no? Well, we haven't determined. I said, listen, save me the BS uh uh uh explanation. Are you gonna charge him? No, you won't. You know why? Because you're scared of his race, that's the problem, right? And guys like you, gutless, and that you know, I I said other words that I can't I can't really say on air, and you're gonna allow him to get away with that. But Whitey here, I'm your punching bag. You're pathetic. And it was because of that situation we moved out of that area. Right. I said, screw this. I I I don't have I don't have tolerance for that sort of thing. And the cops and and the poor cops' hands are tied. You know, and and that's it. So hopefully, like you say, that the race thing is now it's gonna be religion. It's gonna be religion now, and then that's gonna be interesting. Right. Because I I for one am not gonna put up with it at all. And you and you gotta call a spade a spade. You're slowly seeing the shift.
SPEAKER_02No, I believe. And I think guys like Donald Trump and Elon Musk and you know, and all that, there it's it they're how especially when it comes to the race thing. They're there it's it's helping. You know, but the problem now is the whole the whole religion thing. Like the the Democrats in Texas, they want to turn Texas into you know a Sharia law state. There was there was that other incident a couple a couple months ago where uh this very rich Muslim man purchased a plot of land in an area in Texas and was gonna build a mosque.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if you saw this. Keep going.
SPEAKER_02And it was it wasn't gonna be a huge one, it was gonna be a small one. It was gonna be like 50 50 parking spots only, whatever. But what happened was that because of that, everybody in that sub in that area, in that subdivision, put their homes on the market. What happened? They the the all their helms, the mark- the the the value of their homes dropped like 20% because of that. And these these people who've been living there their whole lives are saying, we don't want this here.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02We don't want to turn this into a Muslim area. No, we don't want that. Get out. And you know what? Here's the problem. This is where this is where I I thank God that I was born republic that was that was born into a conservative family. The left will tell you, well, that's this thing you said, oh, that's racist, you should want everyone here. It's a free country, this and that, this and that. But it's like, no, I don't want that here. Because just like that one guy quoted, he said, Sharia law didn't it wasn't formed with this country. The values of Sharia law, it didn't come on the Mayflower.
SPEAKER_01That's right, the Mayflower, yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, like that that that is you can't bring that here. Leave it there. There's a there's it's it's it's it's total religious manipulation. Yeah, and just like they told my girl the that story they said about your well, my grandma, your mom, about how your children's children will be wearing one of these that day. It honestly, if if the Left were in charge. That's what would happen. You know? Like it makes me respect countries like Finland and Sweden and like Poland. We talked about the Prime Minister of Poland. You know, if that makes me a racist, then I'm a racist. Yeah, fine. Okay, cool. You know, but now what? Your move. But people, but people, it's not, it's it's I just don't see how you can support it. I I really, really don't. To me, it makes zero sense how you would actually want that to happen.
SPEAKER_01With a clear mind, anyway.
SPEAKER_02Like, it's to me, it's borderline demonic allowing that in here.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah. When something goes against your values, uh, just think um uh a Muslim man, all he has to do is three times in a row say, I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you. They're divorced under Sri Law. Three times he has to say it out loud.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01So basically, the what they do is they'll say it twice just to uh to get their women riled up. I mean, the abuse is just oh it's crazy. It's uh we have no idea of what the heck is going on, and these honor killings and you know uh 13-year-olds being married to 50-year-olds like, come on, dude. Yeah, you know, it's like give it a rest.
SPEAKER_02How how dare you not accept other people's values, other people's cultures, other people's religions? This is America, this is Canada. We we stand firm on what we believe in. And guess what? The Constitution, the way that the way that the country was formed, there's no room for that nonsense. There's no room for Sharia law.
SPEAKER_01But but because you don't want to be a racist, we're gonna allow it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I'm at the point where just like you said, if that makes you a racist, then you know what? I'll wear a bandana on my head that says I am a racist. Unfortunately. And that's and you see that happening, especially Texas.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, of all states, Texas.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, if this was California, I'd be like, yeah, it's a crapple, anyways. Yeah. What more do you expect? New York, yeah, it's crapple. It's gonna happen eventually. But Texas, but they're doing that on purpose. They want to get these, because if that happens in Texas, it could happen in any state.
SPEAKER_01Well, Texas is a lit lit litmus test, for sure. 100%. And it's not a coincidence that all of this is happening in Texas. Oh, did you hear? Um uh this is I don't, it's it's kind of uh off topic a bit, but what they're doing is because in California, you can't you can't ask for any ID for voting. So it's against the law. So they're asking they're asking a bunch of conservatives to fly in to California and vote for the for the mayor or something like that. Oh, really? Yeah, it's like and it's legal as heck. But uh I I've I I've yeah, like California is is um people are leaving it left, right, and center. Yeah, because these guys don't know how to run cities, they don't. And then you you you you wonder why. You get the red states are are vibrant, they're growing, they're uh, you know, and then the blue states are they're falling apart.
SPEAKER_02The states with the most crime, the most criminals, the worst economy based off her state. Yeah, it's not a coincidence that they are all blue states. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's the way it is. I mean, it it's it's fact. It's not it's not an opinion, it's fact.
SPEAKER_02And and I and I said this, I said this before. Um we talk about a religious war with the Sharia law and the Muslims and all that, but I've I've mentioned this and I will stick to this. It's almost to the point where I can't fathom somebody agreeing with the left. Like, first of all, don't don't ever if you want if if if you're a listener and you want to get me, if you want to get into an argument or fight with me, tell me you're a Christian and that you're and that you're a liberal. That's that that you that doesn't work. My point. If you really want to piss me off, tell me that you're a Bible-believing Christian, but you're a liberal. I would love, I would love to argue with you on that.
SPEAKER_01Well, here, let me drink my dry water here. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right, but I'm it's to the point where I mentioned this a few episodes back, I just can't even fathom the left ideology that to the point where, honestly, if you're a liberal, I want nothing to do with you. Say that's unchristian like, sure. Okay, uh, you know what? I struggle with that. I'm working on it. But it's to the point where it's like, I don't want to associate with you. It's and I say this very carefully, but at the same time, I'm also very loose about it. It's very demonic. Yeah. A lot of the a lot of the stuff on the left. You know, and it's it's scary. It really is, you know. And that we we the Canada, the way the trajectory that Canada is going, you know, I think I'm not going to give anything away because you know, our identities technically are still somewhat private, but like this week there's there's a there's a guy in town that we're you know that we that we that we really like and he's a he's a he's a speaker and we're you can't say who it is or rather not. I'd just rather not. Okay. Okay, fair enough. And even he is saying, like, you get Canada, it's it's turning into a joke. Yeah. You know, like the the whole thing about, you know, the assistant suicide. You know, the the the the the or the organs and and stuff like that. It's it's getting to the point where and and and I I hate to admit this, I hate to say this, but it's just the reality of the situation. At this rate, at the way that let's leave America aside for now, let's talk about Canada. The rate that Canada is going, I don't know if I want to raise my children in this country. You see a lot of people, especially Canadians and in Americans too, going to like, you know, Puerto Rico or Panama or these South American countries. Even Belize, a lot of them. The Belize, right? Or or or even going to Europe. Like like I I could easily, because of because of background, I could easily get immigrated into Poland. Right. Looks like a damn good option right now.
SPEAKER_01That's right. You know, just learn the language and you'll be fine.
SPEAKER_02Not even that. It's like 75% English in Poland.
SPEAKER_01That's true, yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know? It's like you you could even the schools are all English in Poland.
SPEAKER_01Well, I uh I I told you um who they crowned their king. Yeah, Jesus. Jesus is their king.
SPEAKER_02That's it's it it's it's scary that even even the state of the church in in Canada and Well, that's that's another topic altogether. That's yeah, it's scary, but I don't know. I don't know where we go from here. Because like I said, you have these people fighting. You have these, you know, anti You know what you know what it is? I made that comment about how the pendulum's swinging about the whole race thing. Right. Because I think people are starting to see the value in religion over race. Right. And if you look at, especially in Christianity, it's very it's probably, I would argue, would say the most multicultural religion in in the world.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's the it's one of the biggest, so that's that's why it would be multicultural.
SPEAKER_02Even if you look at like you know, Buddhism, for example, it's stereotypically, you know, Oriental descent. Yeah. Right? You look at Islam, predominantly it's Middle Eastern descent. Right. Right? But Christianity is all over the world. Yeah. You know, so I think people are starting to realize, hey, let's stop hating each other for our race and let's stay united for our religion. Yeah. You know, and I and I believe that's why religion is starting to become the fight now as opposed to race. Because the Christians are realizing, hey, whether you're black or white or yellow, purple, blue, whatever, you know, it's our religion that's being attacked.
SPEAKER_01Well, my dad always taught me, he goes, he never understood the terminology of race. And I said, Well, what do you mean? He goes, Well, think about it. We're all human. That's our race. We're human. Right. You know, there's cultures, this, but race, it's only one. Yeah. When you think about it, I said, yeah, I never thought of it that way, but that's true. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I don't know what to do. I don't know where where we go from here.
SPEAKER_01Day to time.
SPEAKER_02But it's it's you know what? There's no better time to pray for your nation than there is than there is today. Than there is now. Yeah. That is true. You know, because the the like I said, the rate that we're going and the the power in had hands. Uh not not not just Canada, but also USA. I mean, it's yeah.
SPEAKER_01Well, if you're gonna if you're gonna pray, you also pray for the Persian people. I saw a couple of um uh a couple of shorts. They're saying Donald Trump bombed these people, and these are people that are are there. Right. The Iranians, the the the Persians are saying, these guys are killing us. Kill them first. Yeah, exactly. But that's another topic. Sorry, I threw that in there.
SPEAKER_02Well, no, I like I said, I I just today's episode was more just to you know, let everyone know we're still around, we're just you know, we've been very busy. Um, I do have a couple things on the docket still talk about, but we're actually gonna end it there, this episode. We do have another one coming out this week. We'll probably record either Thursday night or Friday morning, uh, depending on work. But um, but yeah. I don't know. I would love if any listeners, I would love if there's if any stories or if there's any examples about whether it's race or religion or or get your input, please. I would love to hear your guys' stories. I would love to share them. Uh thefamybusiness.chat at gmail.com. Uh, I would love to get your guys' input on all this and resolutions or problems or issues or or even just just your feedback, what we've been talking about. Um, because it's a it is a very touchy subject. It is what it is. We're just not afraid to to to talk about it, uh, which I think is also part of the problem. People just don't want to talk about it because they're like you said, they are afraid of being labeled as racist or misogynist or whatever word you want to use these days. Um I don't know. I I'm rattled, I'm not gonna lie. It kind of pissed me off this whole this whole discussion. Sure. And the whole Texas thing and and the Sharia law, but yeah, I mean Well, that's that that's my reaction.
SPEAKER_01Somebody calls me a racist. I said, okay, yeah, you got it. I'm a racist. Yeah, okay. Your move, Sherlock. What now? Right. Okay, I am. So there you go.
SPEAKER_02But I like what you said, one day at a time. Yeah. So but that's all the time we got for this episode. Like I said, thank you for listening. I apologize once again for being behind a few days just with work and stuff like that. Uh, this has been episode number 10. Look forward to recording and talking about a actually, you know what, I'm not gonna talk about it, but uh there will be a couple more days up until we talk about it. But uh seems like, seems like big orange batman may have made a uh peace deal with with Iran. So we'll definitely we'll talk about that. Um, Tim Hordins. There's some controversy with Tim Hordins, just in time for Duncan Donuts to come in sleep in. Oh, I hope so. We'll talk about that uh next episode as well. Uh I still I know we talked about it last week, we said we're going to this week, but just so many things, there's so many things to talk about. We can have a four-hour show, you know, uh some stuff with Ukraine and Russia, Iran. There's just so much to talk about. Uh like I said, any any feedback, any inquiries, please feel free. Thefamybusiness.chat at gmail.com. We'll see you later on this week.
