SPEAKER_04

All right, welcome back to episode 9 of Poor Choices Only. As always, your host, James.

SPEAKER_01

And it's Cavassier.

SPEAKER_04

Got Bodie over here behind the scenes once again.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome back. Welcome back.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, welcome back, everyone. Always glad to see y'all. Let's get right into it, right into our weeks. Bodie, you want to start?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, bro. Just kind of worked all week. Had my birthday over the weekend. So, you know, it was a good time. You know, me and the wife. Also had the anniversary as well. So I think, you know, we went up to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you know, hit up a little brewery, you know. So it was it was a good time, man. You know, we just chilled with each other, you know, locked in. It was a good time, you know. We had it, we had a lot of fun. So yeah, pretty much sums up my week. It worked Friday and Saturday, but other than that, man, I was I was chilling the rest of the week. So that was y'all's week. What you brother?

SPEAKER_01

About me. I mean, um I had a good week. I mean, the week was good, made some good money on the weekend, was able to do what I need to do and finish up for the month. So nothing too crazy, but yeah, man. Yeah, I wish my boy Bodie a happy belated birthday because he wasn't there for this weekend, so he got to enjoy some off time. So me and James was getting beat on. I know, but don't feel bad. I'll I'll feel like we alive, so he was good.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, y'all might have a weekend without me. So you made it.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I don't like to say names because you know we can't. So biggest thing I heard lately is yeah, play stupid games, you'll win stupid process. That's a good quote right there.

SPEAKER_04

Listen, listen, Sunday, we let our third bartender go. He let he You're right, I did, because I'm a captain of the ship. I run this captain.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, he ride, bro, to be honest. Exactly. I mean, I can't even go out. I feel like follow me.

SPEAKER_01

I know the way.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I I just kind of go with the flow. I don't I feel like I don't really make those executive decisions. Man, so I feel like it definitely jams at you, to be honest.

SPEAKER_01

He's the assistant. When I'm not performing at my level, he performed for me. See, that's why you catch it most of the time performing for me.

SPEAKER_04

Did I that did I tell him? I tell you what what I said to him when uh when uh our manager told us we could cut. I came up to him. I said, I said, hey, so and so said we could cut to just you and the or just the two bartenders. He said, but whatever combination it has to be, you have to be in it because you're the best one here right now. He was he looked at me like I was crazy. He said that to you?

SPEAKER_01

I said I said I was like, that's crazy. I'm gonna believe that come out. Taylor did not tell you that. He'll never even just say that to you.

unknown

Cow.

SPEAKER_01

I said, Yeah, okay. I say y'all go figure that out. Because I'm important, so go figure that out between you two who want to go home. I'm here.

SPEAKER_04

You know what though? I got a little bit of a bone to pick with you. Well, there's a little one that's about to get a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

You remember what today is, right? So you know I'm about to. This could save you. I want to let you know this could save you.

SPEAKER_04

I want to have bone to pick you with you. So over the past couple weeks, I have been thinking, you know, I don't I want to do some some changes, right? So I I decided to come up with something, and what I decided, uh, I'm not gonna tell you guys because you know it's my personal life, and I want to just keep it within the I wanted to start telling people who I want to tell, right? And so I told these guys, I said, I think I'm gonna try such and such. And I got supportedness from Bodhi who said, Oh, bro, like it makes sense. Like, like, okay. I mean, I don't judge, you know me over here. I tell you, I tell, I tell Cavalsier, he man, this man's it. He said, I'm not hearing you. I said, said no. He looked at me, he said, no. He said, You're not doing that. I said, I don't judge. I said, I want to try it. I said it could be good for me. And you know, you've been seeing me today, like I haven't been my usual mad self. I've been happy, happy, happy all weekend. Yeah, because of this this realization that this might could be for me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't mean I judge just because I told you. That was just my standpoint.

SPEAKER_03

And I feel you, I mean, like, I you don't have to guys, man. Whatever makes you happy, bro. Like, I mean, yeah, do it, man.

SPEAKER_01

I try to I try to I try to forget what made you think about that, what made you consider it, you know.

SPEAKER_04

He's that he thought I was considering for one thing when I was like, no, I'm like doing this for myself. Like, it has nothing to do with that. King James, King James.

SPEAKER_03

Hey, I mean, bro, this man James got a good head on his shoulders. So, you know, I know I know he's gonna do what's best for him. He's got a red carpet, yeah. They roll him out like it's the Emmys, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Y'all better be ready for it.

SPEAKER_04

But yeah, that's how my week went. Uh I've kind of been chilling, uh, been kind of on my own, like, kind of like self, kind of just like focus on myself a little bit, figure out what I want um in life. Um already got like, you know, the money fit part figured out, you know, I got I got a whole plan for that. But you know, uh I've been trying to figure out what I want from different you know relationships and whatnot. But now that I know I'm know what I want, I'm kinda just gearing towards that and you know, just want to start just connecting with people. So yeah. Tell my week's been work, work, and just kind of just doing myself. Gotcha. But yeah, making that bread, bro. So what we do that here, exactly. So we're gonna we're gonna roll right into B Sop vibes.

SPEAKER_01

The B Sop vibes. Hey guys, hold on.

SPEAKER_00

They all be good this week.

SPEAKER_01

I want to make sure y'all can hear me. I know, listen, it's gonna be a good week. They're gonna be good. Listen, the vibes are always good. We try to keep them tight, try to keep them personal, but not too personal. Try to keep them to where everybody can feel it. So, my vibe today is I got a question for y'all. Why do men and women love differently? That's I just want to see what my boys think, and then I'm gonna give y'all what I think. That's the vibes I wanna go off of today.

SPEAKER_04

So men and women, in my opinion, don't necessarily love differently. I think like just like certain certain people love like me and another woman can love the same, but it doesn't mean the next woman next to her is gonna love the same as the next man next to me. That makes sense. So it's like I don't think you necessarily men and women or all men think one way and all women think one way. I think it's kinda different. Some some men are gonna match the same as women, right? Um like for me, like when I love, I love deeply and I love very like like I g I like I like I love hard and I love like I'm I'm in there, like I'm I'm all about, like I'm all in very quickly. Uh one of the things I've been focusing on myself is not doing that. Uh I learned to take a step back and just kind of just take my time uh recently and just kind of just figure out what I truly want rather than yeah, you know what I mean? So like there's always an adjustment period. Like there's gonna be other women that also love very deeply and they dive in heavy, and um there's gonna be some that that that already just, you know, they kind of just take a step back and do what they want, type deal. You know what I'm saying? So I don't say necessarily think it's just men love differently than women or women love differently from men. I just think it's like how what's your like the whole new trend is attachment styles. So it's like what's depending on what's your attachment styles, how you're going to see love and how how you view intimacy and and all that fun stuff. Like you, like you and I, we're very similar. We got kind of anxious attachment styles, so we're gonna love deeply very fast.

SPEAKER_01

We're all about it. Listen to him. Don't listen to him, okay. Sorry.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna be honest. Let me challenge me. Exactly.

SPEAKER_04

So so so if you don't agree with me, we're just gonna agree to disagree. This is what I think. Uh love differently. So when we when we are in into someone that is not the same quote unquote attachment style as us, we we view that as they don't quote unquote love us or they they don't they're not showing the same thing that we're giving. That's just because we're not used to it to re receiving it that way. I on the last episode I said I'm I'm so used to my ex-girlfriends being the same way as me. And so the this last ex-girlfriend weren't the same. And so it was it was kind of learning curve to get deal with that. But it is what it is. But now you live and you learn, right? Every relationship's a lesson.

SPEAKER_01

They're lessons. We're supposed to learn them. We don't learn, we eventually learn. Well, it's gonna take you one time to crack your head a hundred times, what you wanna do. You wanna learn.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Simple.

SPEAKER_04

I mean Did you wanna hear about these first or I mean it just it depends.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, go ahead, buddy. We'll let you go off that. You remember the question?

SPEAKER_03

Y'all know I've you know been out of the game for a minute. Oh, that's a big fact. So but I mean I do get where y'all are coming from. I mean, it's you know, me and Zoe, I feel like we kind of love the same way. Um we I don't know, like we just kind of make things work between each other. Like it just, you know, we feed off each other's energy each other's energy. Um, and it just I don't know. It it works out good for both of us. And I I know y'all have kind of, you know, been through some trials and tribulations, you know, through this like you know, trying to like find finding love thing. Um but it's I don't know. I mean, when you find that person that you love, I mean it it's just so nice to like, you know, kind of bounce ideas and just bounce like the love you have for each other off each other, you know what I'm saying? So um it's just I don't know. That's that's when you find that like bro, there's nothing that feels better than that. Like, and I mean I feel like me and Zoe do like a pretty great job of that. And that's why, you know, I don't know, we work out so well. So yeah, I mean how's how's y'all's how's it been going for y'all? I mean, when you when you when y'all call that stuff. I mean, I was just a curious question.

SPEAKER_04

How's it going for what's been I'll go come back to me, I'll start. How's it going for me? Um, like I said, I'm trying, I'm trying, I'm trying new, I'm trying new things. I'm I'm trying something different on how I tackle uh relationships and whatnot now. Um he doesn't agree with what I'm thinking. You're supportive. He's he's getting there. I've been telling him like examples and like like this is why like I'm trying to do it this way. This is why I want this, this, and that. Like, you know, because I got I got tired of of feeling a certain way. God, I'm getting a lot of vulnerability this episode for me. For really, I got tired of feeling a certain way, so I I just thought like just like this was like the answer. I felt like it was an answer. I've brought I've been ten times happier. Like I have a date this this Thursday, hopefully it goes well. We're gonna see how that goes. Um and we'll we'll just see how how it goes. Yeah, but yeah, but yeah, no, I'm like right now. I'm in a I think I'm in a good place. Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's good to hear. I mean, it's you know, I feel like I don't know, when you find that person that can, you know, rebound the thoughts and feelings that you have as well. I mean, you can do anything, you know what I'm saying? So I mean it's I don't know, the sky's the limit when you find that person for you. Right. You know what I'm saying? Like you're gonna be able to do that. What you gotta add to that? I know I know you guys.

SPEAKER_01

I'm just gonna say sorry. I'm sorry. Listen, if you see me, I'm doing anything weird over here, I'm just trying to get these this protein granola out of my teeth, okay? That's all I want to say.

SPEAKER_03

Me too. Me too. If y'all see me uh making any mewing faces or anything like that, but I'm listening.

SPEAKER_01

Because listen, what y'all saying ain't nothing's wrong. It's all true. And that's exactly how the world is. I mean, you have the love, you have the love. I almost lost my vocals there now. Let me tell you. Then we're sitting here talking about trying things new. You know what I mean? This is what it takes to do something differently. You know what I mean? All right. We don't see that men and women are definitely gonna love differently. They're loving differently in their own ways, but they're loving to love you. So it ain't seen differently. You know what I mean? And the way that I looked at it, look at it this way women are born more emotions than men are. Meaning that like 80 to 90 percent of emotions as a man are taken out, put into women, and that's women. They're they have their hormones, they have the more of the feels. Us men have feels, but when I'm saying that you look at it as in like you have 10% emotions, so when you love, you love deeply because you have a minimal amount of love that you have to give, you're not so wanting to give out a hundred percent. You have that ten percent that is your love deeply. So when you do love, you love deeply. You see what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

But that's but that what I but you know what I'm saying, where that that's just me. That's you. That could be, you know, there's other people that you know could just go next. It happens, it happens, go next. And they just, you know.

SPEAKER_01

We tend to solve problems and figure things out and saying uh we tend to, you know, figure things out and love things and make sure like everything works out. We tend to figure out the problem, man. You know, master the problem. I'm just making sure your mic was on something. Alright, right diving into it. But yeah, I think like what I'm just saying, ain't nothing wrong with you guys are saying. I'm just saying women tend to feel a little bit of emotions, more demand. So they take a little bit more time to evaluate those emotions and to honestly understand them. As men, we tend to like love on things that we feel like we already see that's like good right there. Like we we are a man that ain't always gonna love everything. But when something seems right, we tend to love, you know what I mean? And like what I'm saying is females, they just tend to it's not a problem, it's like a solution. We're the we're the solution to their problem or whatever it is to be that solution. So I think we all do love the same. We just love differently because we come with different answers. You know what I mean? Yeah. 100%. Uh that's just what it is. Like us men tend to love deeply, women tend to evaluate love before loving deeply. And we have to show them the reason why we love them deeply, and they show us the reason why they tend to stand back to who they want to love deeply. And that is in the middle of it all. That's why I think we love differently. It is what it is, you know what I mean? It's like just a woman's standpoint, it just needs time. From a man's standpoint, we're not gonna lie to you, you're not gonna be wrong. It's just a matter of what what you want to believe. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

Fair enough. Yeah, 100%. I mean I get what you're saying. I just don't think you should group all men and all women together.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, I feel like everyone's different. Everybody's different. That's why I say love differently. You know, why do men and love women love differently? I'm saying women just tend to have everybody's born differently. I'm not saying I'm correct on the accurate scale, saying women have more emotions than men. There are there are there are women out there, there are men out here that have a lot more emotions than women. But on the larger scale, I think it's more women than men. You see what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, 100% I completely agree.

SPEAKER_01

That's how I'm looking at it.

SPEAKER_03

You know, me, I mean, me and Zoe's talked about, you know, just how we express our love and you know, show emotion. And I mean it's just completely different. And once you understand that, I feel like it's a lot easier to you know cooperate with each other and have a you know working relationship. And that's what me and Zoe's been able to do. And I mean, we've you know, we've had to do a lot of work to you know get to that point, but I mean it's definitely definitely worked out with us just talking it through, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_04

So yeah. I mean, you know, communication's a big thing with me. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

That's your biggest pet piece.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I mean that's communication is a big thing, especially with this new thing I'm doing. Communication is gonna be at be on point. Communication is key.

SPEAKER_01

That's number one on the list, man.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean, it really is in anything, honestly. I mean, you even if it's not a relationship at all, I mean, if it's a work job or something like that, like I mean, still communication is key.

SPEAKER_04

Like, I mean, if you all right, so had a little bit of a you know camera issue. We got that solved, but I think we're pretty much wrapped up with with uh V Sop vibes. Uh moving on. Uh Kavase says something about he's gonna expose me and Bodie this week. So let's go in and hear how you're gonna do that.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I I actually kind of had time to think about it. What you exposing me for, so I really want to know. Time out. Let me let me let me tell you guys, I'm gonna be real with y'all. You know, if you people have been paying attention, if you are lovely guests, been paying attention to these episodes and everything that they've been saying, it's probably about two episodes back, exposed me and they tried to do me bad, and it was all lies. Lies, lies, lies. So today I come here today to tell you guys a lot of things about them. But I had a split second and thing, I changed my mind. These are my brothers. I won't I won't. So he was gonna come with you. You better come on here and don't. Don't speak too fast now. Don't speak too fast. Don't because I thought about it. I said, I ain't gonna come on here, scoop to the level that they got. And I say, you know what? I love them. I'm gonna hold on to it. Hey, we love you too. Ammunition. Love you with ammunition. Yeah, love me with ammunition, so you're gonna pull it out whatever you want to. I love you with rounds and rounds and rounds.

SPEAKER_03

I really don't know what you're gonna play me on, but nothing at all, sir.

SPEAKER_01

You know, you know what I noticed about you? Who notice you don't ever think you're wrong. Ever. See, that's a problem. That's not true. Listen, listen. That's not true. I know when I'm wrong. Listen, I know when I'm wrong.

SPEAKER_03

I think both of y'all wrong, and that's why y'all always be arguing, to be honest.

SPEAKER_01

See, but I know when I am wrong, I'm not always wrong.

SPEAKER_03

See, that's a that's no, I never say you're always wrong. But see, I mean I think you said you don't always think you're wrong. That's why y'all be right.

SPEAKER_01

Most of the time I'm not always wrong. Listen, I have a little special, little special ability about me that is not wrong, you know? So I don't always think I'm not wrong. That's just a time and a place and an understanding of certain things. I am wrong, or I'm not wrong. And sometimes I am not wrong, weighs more than I am wrong. You know what I mean? That's just a scale.

SPEAKER_04

I also wonder why you yell at me. You yell at me all the time, and I don't yell at you.

SPEAKER_01

I don't yell at you, I just have a loud voice. I'm very I'm very I'm very just outgoing, so my voice is just it it carries, like it carries, like my voice carries, and it's not on purpose, it's just it's loud based off itself. I used to be very shy. So when I learned how not to be shy and very be more outgoing, I learned how to speak and be comfortable and be confident. So when I do speak, I speak where you can hear me. I don't speak where I'm feeling shy back to not speak, I speak loud because I'm proud for you to hear me. Like I'm not so it ain't purposely not have to tell people that. Um I'm proud. Sammy that's what I feel like we would get counseled, we would get counseled if I say what I said. You hit them with it. You hit them with it. I feel like both of you.

SPEAKER_04

What do we what do we say on Sundays when we live?

SPEAKER_01

Can't say that, but a negro and proud. Okay. That's that's the color. That's the color in Spanish. That's fine. Teach the people something.

SPEAKER_04

I'll tell you what. We me and Cavase Friday, Saturday night, Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, put on a show for our guests. I'm talking about we were getting all eyes on us on the bar, us arguing.

SPEAKER_02

And that's the thing, is I feel like both of y'all kind of feed off each other's energy.

SPEAKER_03

We was feeding, you know what I'm saying? So it's like when y'all start going, like, bro, it's only up from there. And I don't say that's a bad thing, like at all. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

Like it's just we also had a little hidden gem, you know, boosting the situation.

SPEAKER_04

True. You know, my newfound uh my newfound uh uh ways. He uh he was not in total agreement of so he he was mad and he couldn't figure out how to express that to me. So you know what that form turned into arguing.

SPEAKER_01

We used to play arguing, everybody loved it, man. It's like comedy catch, bro. Bro, y'all ain't never really argued, let's be real. We had the whole bar like laughing and chimed in into what we was doing. Like they was like they was chimed in, they was messing with us. Chilling.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, that's the thing, is that's what gets us the tips, you know what I'm saying? I mean, keeping people entertained. No matter what it is, like, I mean, as long as you keep people entertained, like one gets you right, you know what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_01

I was shaking tens from it.

SPEAKER_03

I know, and that's entertainment. But speaking of that, bro, remember when his arm probably going crazy. His arm locked up. He couldn't move it. I remember that. That was uh what Saturday night? He literally was like, he was he was a double. He was good. I was a double. He said there and said, I couldn't even close my hand and shake these tans. And I said, he couldn't, he couldn't.

SPEAKER_04

He couldn't bend his arm. He's like, he was taking off his uh his his work shirt. He said, James, I need you to take off my shirt. I said I can't do it myself. Like, what do you mean?

SPEAKER_01

Like, bro, chill out, bro. It was like, listen, I've been there all day, didn't have no sleep. I was up since 12 a.m. 12 p.m. since Friday. So Saturday come around, 12.29. I'm shaking my last rounds of like six lemon drop shots. I'm shaking them. I've been feeling these little lockups in my hand and cramping and stuff, but like nothing crazy. This shake them. I come down, arm lock up. I'm talking about all I feel is like my muscle just bulging. It's just it's just popping, boy. I'm like, I can't do nothing. Like, oh my god. Pop it up and try to see if I can loosen it. Lock here, it locks here. Go back down, it's locked. I'm like, James, I need you to come for these shots. Like, I can't I can't do nothing. Like my arm locked. I can't even move my hand for real. I'm sitting here playing up and down. That's all I can do. So I took everything off one-handed. I needed this help. I couldn't take my shirt off. My arm was like locked. I'm talking about all I felt was just a muscle spasm. I had my whole arm locked. Couldn't do nothing. Couldn't do nothing.

SPEAKER_03

I had a question for y'all. How do y'all make it on? I mean, less than an hour of sleep. I mean, I know sometimes y'all can pull up and y'all like, bro. Oh, bro. I mean, for me, like, bro, when I get four and a half hours of sleep, I mean, you know, you close, get done at 2.30, gotta be there at eight. That's brutal. I don't know. How do y'all do it?

SPEAKER_04

A lot of practice. Listen, listen. So my philosophy practice. A lot of my philosophy when I was a manager, I saw I worked a lot, I had friends, so I had and I and I gamed a lot. Yes, I'm a gamer. And so and so I had to choose work, friends, gaming, sleep, and eating. So out of those five, one of those had to give. So it had to be sleep.

SPEAKER_03

But it's like bruh the sleep. Which I didn't know this till Zoe. Zoe told me about it. Like, bro, you need that eight hours. You know what I mean? So, fun fact.

SPEAKER_04

Actually, women need eight hours. Women need eight. Men need six. At least six.

SPEAKER_03

Men need six. But I mean, still, I mean, that's a scientific fact.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, women need eight to ten, men need six to eight.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

This past weekend I had two hours of sleep.

SPEAKER_03

Well, that's what I'm saying. Like, I mean, I can I can go home and go to sleep and get, you know, five hours of sleep, whatever, five and a half, whatever it is. But it's like when y'all come in and y'all are getting like 45 minutes of sleep, like minutes, not hours.

SPEAKER_04

So the way the way I see it is so on my off days, um, I mean, I get I get stuff done, but I spend a lot of it sleeping.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Umless I got uh uh an obligation I gotta do like a date or we're all going out Wednesday or Thursday night, use my usual off days. But majority of the weeks, the only time I really don't get sleep is my my clothes into a brunch shift. Okay. That's really the only one. It's like this past week, I don't really I don't know why I have been scheduled Sunday brunch like I like I was a couple months ago, but I've been having Sundays off a lot and I've been scheduled Saturday brunch. But anyways, this past week, uh me and Kavasia went home at like four o'clock. We got we had a late pop Saturday night. Uh you left right away. We were talking to our manager for like another like a half hour.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And so I only had like two hours of sleep, and I know if I'm just working just the brunch, I can get to that four o'clock. Once I'm up, I could be up.

SPEAKER_03

See, that's the thing, is I'm not like a vibe. It's like I've got to get home and get to sleep as soon as I can. That way I can just sleep.

SPEAKER_04

I can pretty much function off two hours of sleep and be okay. Now me, now me and Kavasi have done a couple couple times where we've gone right in with zero sleep. I can't do that.

SPEAKER_03

Which is crazy. I mean, I can I physically can't do that. Like, I mean, I gotta get home and try to get as much sleep as I can go in that thing and then show up. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's that's the whole thing.

SPEAKER_01

Go in that thing and I say it's deja vu, baby. I've been here before, I know what to do. We're gonna get it done, we're gonna get going, we're gonna make it.

SPEAKER_03

Mushroom coffee, gonna be locked in.

SPEAKER_04

But but like for for me, even even as a kid, like I'd always stay up. So as a kid, no matter how late I stayed up, my my dad would make me get up at 9 a.m. No matter what, yes. Well see, he always used to say, Well, if you're able to hoop with the owls at night, you gotta be able to soar with the eagles in the morning. And so about I mean so like I'm used to it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. I mean, that's about it. Like my thing, I used to, this is crazy, y'all, but I used to I used to go to bed at like 9 30 every night when I was a younger. How young are we talking about? Like 10?

unknown

Nah.

SPEAKER_03

9 30. My bedtime was at 9 30 since I was like 12. I would say like a good 15, 16. I'd go to bed early. I mean most nights at least. And then I would wake up at like seven. I wake up, because I mean, you wanna start the day off right. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I mean you gotta start the day off early, get as much done as you can early in the morning. Like you, I mean you wake up at 7, you get you can get everything done by 10 30. You know what I'm saying? And then you'll I mean you have the rest of the day.

SPEAKER_04

Like right now, like I usually my body doesn't let me sleep past 10. So usually I'll be up around 10. But that I can't get up at seven at seven every day. Oh, I work, I work a night shift job.

SPEAKER_03

Me now, like, I mean, like this morning I woke up at I mean, I closed last night, so I mean me, me and big dog, we didn't uh we didn't get out probably 2.30. So I mean I woke up at like 10 this morning, which is seven and a half hours of sleep, so it's not too bad. Right. But I mean I just feel like I need that eight.

SPEAKER_04

I try to get I try to get at least like five to six on my days that I don't open. That's bad. So like I'll try to go to bed sometimes around two, three, because you know I got a lot of stuff going on. I got this going on, I got uh I got friends and who stay up late, so I try to go to bed around three at the latest, so I can get up by nine ten, which is like six six or seven hours. It's not bad at all. That's a pretty solid sleep scale, to be honest.

SPEAKER_03

Me, on the other hand, Bisop gets up uh after two o'clock, because that's when I grew up with a podcast, so see, when I grew up it was a night owl.

SPEAKER_01

Not like always as a young kid. It's kinda when I kind of got middle school going and high school. And then they're mostly up through the whole evening to the night to the morning. And then when I say like a night owl, bro, I'll sleep up all night and I used to be up to like seven, eight, fifteen in the morning. Like, bro, I'm not getting you up. High school, I didn't get my license until I turned 18. I decided not to get my permit when I was 16, but I knew how to drive. Long story short, I was doing some illegal Which we don't condone. But we don't condone. But anyway, from that time to that time. But when I did go get my license, I promise you, I had no sleep from the day before. I was running off uh five hour energy. No cap. When I went into to go do my license, I had no sleep. I told myself energy like the told myself to stop with a guy so I need a five hour energy.

SPEAKER_04

Those even still exist.

SPEAKER_01

This was in 2017. This is 2017.

SPEAKER_03

All I'm saying is five hour energy, the taste is where it's at.

SPEAKER_01

The taste is good. I told you pass, got my license, got back into the DMV. Sleep. It was about three o'clock. I was there all day.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, sleep at the DMV is crazy. You were you were at the DMV all day. The DMV took me twenty, I mean maybe twenty minutes. It was so packed it was packed out, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Where'd you go? Which one did you go to? It was just right back. So when I went to get my license at the time when I just turned 18, it was summer. It was like May 20th, like May 21st, like right the day right after my birthday. So I went to go get it with my sister. And it was packed out. We got there probably like 9-10 in the morning. There all day because there were so many people there. Right. Like they was packed. Bro, you gotta go to the Jasper one. The Jasper one is bro, there's no one there.

SPEAKER_03

There's no one there, and like Brad went in there. I mean, he did the test, all that stuff. Like it was done in like 25 minutes, probably. I mean, after and that was counting the the driving test that I did. So like it wasn't it won't bad at all. Which I mean, I know there's no one that wants to you know drive out to Jasper because it's kinda in the middle of nowhere, but correct. I don't know, you know.

SPEAKER_01

That's my fault. I got us off topic telling my DMV.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no, I mean I did too. I I'm sorry. We're always off topic. We start one thing, we never finish with the same thing.

SPEAKER_01

That was just an example of like my night out and it's like I didn't go to sleep at all that day, that night, coming into it. I was wide awake. Past it. I mean, so like I don't know. There's times and moments that when we work on the weekends and we close to open, close to open, it's like you get off, you already hit that second burst of energy that you're usually losing somewhere in the middle of the shift where you can't beat that. And then you learn how to continue to keep going and keep going and keep going. Now you're f wired again. Once you're wired, I feel wired to not.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean, not I completely understand what you're saying, because I mean, you know, you got the second wave of people that come in, especially a stir when you're when we're working there. Like, I mean, you know, 11 o'clock, you got people coming in and it's like I gotta lock in. You know what I'm saying? When you're locked in, you can't go to bed till two or three in the morning, because I mean you're so wired. You know what I mean? Like you've been running around like crazy for the past three hours, like trying to figure it out. Yeah, for real. I mean, you can't go to sleep as soon as you get home. You know what I mean? Like, you got too much stuff on your mind. You know what I mean? I mean, you've had stuff on your mind for the past five hours. It's it's tough to go to sleep at that time.

SPEAKER_01

I go home, lay down in bed, I'm like, all right, gonna chat whiskey bit. Let me eat it. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_04

No, they're definitely they're definitely in the service industry. In the service industry, you definitely start dreaming about working, and then that's how you know you've just you've just been there too long.

SPEAKER_00

So that's when you know you're cooked.

SPEAKER_04

I've had I've had cracker barrel dreams, I've had stir dreams, like I don't woke up, don't forgot somebody mossa jar.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, wait a minute. Country friend steak.

SPEAKER_04

But don't you give me starting with cracker barrel? Grandpa's country breakfast.

SPEAKER_03

Anyways, uh yeah, yeah, we'll uh pivot.

SPEAKER_04

We're gonna put a pin in that. We're not gonna talk about crack barrel because that was a dark time of my life. But we're gonna we're gonna move on right to top of the top.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, let's do it, homies. Y'all uh, y'all ready for this?

SPEAKER_01

Do y'all remember the record?

SPEAKER_03

Man, I believe you won. I won one. You won one giants won the rest.

SPEAKER_01

He won like it's like it's like 10-1. It's like 10-1. We're on nine, so he's definitely 8-1. Hey, but listen, yeah. 7-1.

SPEAKER_02

We didn't count one. I think I'm throwing beast off. We let it go, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Look, guys, I I really think I truly think I'm throwing beasts off a bone here. You ready?

SPEAKER_01

Hey, you do the marker, easy man. Like you mean heads up. You selected it, swatted it out the way. Well, I gotta have this one.

SPEAKER_03

Y'all ready?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, you you didn't want to talk about that, huh? Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Uh more my segment. You know what I'm saying? So uh give y'all something. Y'all ready? Three, two, and one. Top five truck brands of all time. He lost again. Yep. I mean, you know, truck brands. Kavassi, you from Red Vame, bro. You from the South. You should you should know this. You should know this. James from Cali.

SPEAKER_04

You should know this, brother. I'm from the farmers area of Cali.

SPEAKER_03

So Yeah, I mean, you right. Yeah, we'll see. We'll see what happens.

SPEAKER_00

Got high hopes for Cavassi here. I don't.

SPEAKER_04

Definitely know what the top three is. That's that's a lot. No, you don't. That's a top.

SPEAKER_01

You don't know not that.

SPEAKER_00

What are we doing?

SPEAKER_01

She don't want a little dog, she wanna big dog.

SPEAKER_04

You ready?

SPEAKER_01

No, I'm not ready. Time out. This man takes ten years to do anything. Take brains to take time.

SPEAKER_04

You think quickly on you?

SPEAKER_01

So you thinking quickly, no brains. Good thanks, Gumpson. Who's got a better record? No. Brains. Not you. And his name is Willis. Willis.

SPEAKER_04

I do feel like I'm forgetting a brain and I cannot.

SPEAKER_01

See, that's Willis.

SPEAKER_04

There's some sleepers on there. I want to tell y'all, but I'm cook y'all.

SPEAKER_03

I know you would. I've been looking at the trucks for a minute, so.

SPEAKER_04

Country man over there.

SPEAKER_03

Nah, not trying to be, but not yet. Getting there. Yeah, getting there.

SPEAKER_04

I saw you in the red truck the other day, the other day of your story. Don't worry. Or Zoe's story. One of the two. Yeah, I was moving around. So Kawasia, go ahead and read yours from five to one.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna make my statement. Five to one.

SPEAKER_03

Let's see what he got. This is a comeback.

SPEAKER_01

Comeback episode right here. Number five. We have Tesla. Tesla. So number four. Alright. They got a little Tesla truck. You know what? They got this top of my. You know the Tesla, remember? You know this top of my top of my. Alright, number four, Toyota. Number three, Dodge. Two, Chevy, one, four. Come on now. Two about my task. Pretty good running. Pretty good running.

SPEAKER_04

My top five, uh, Ram, Toyota, GMC, Chevy, Ford.

SPEAKER_01

Did you figure by GMC?

SPEAKER_03

Not too bad of a list from anyone. But I think Fossi might have took this. I was thinking about GMC. I think he might have because he had him in the right G spot. Let's see. Already? We had three of the same in the right spot, so we were really about to see. We're gonna go five to one, guys. Um we got GMC, General Motors at number five. And number four, we got Dodge Ram. Number three, we got Toyota. Which is crazy because they have the smallest engines, so I really don't agree with that. But it's because they have the best, they have the best mid-size. Yeah, I mean, they sell a lot of the Tacoma. The Tacoma. Yeah, that's what it is. That's why. Um, number two, we got Chevy. Number one, we got Ford Motor Company coming in at one. That 256-7 power strokes where it's at.

SPEAKER_01

What points you got?

SPEAKER_03

He thinks he went, but he didn't.

SPEAKER_01

How many points you got? I got seven. No, you don't.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so what you got? I mean, you had the first two.

SPEAKER_02

You had the first two, right? So that's four points. Fucking white boy.

SPEAKER_04

Why did you guys? Because I got all of them. There's three of them were in the wrong spot. Give me your list again. I had Ram at five. No, start at one. One. I had Ford, then Chevy, then GMC, then Toyota, then Ram.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, that's a damn good list, to be honest.

SPEAKER_01

Time out. What was your last one? Ram. Dodge Ram. Okay, time out. You had Ford and Chevy is one and two, right? Yes. And what was your three? GMC. You're wrong, so that's five, six.

SPEAKER_04

GMC was GMC was in the top five.

SPEAKER_03

It wasn't the top five. It was five. So um, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We had another L for you. To come again. To try again.

SPEAKER_03

What'd you have to be stop? Give me give me five to one right here.

SPEAKER_01

I had six points. Tesla shot yourself in the foot.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know why you put it in the Tesla cooked you to be.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it wasn't really Tesla that cooked me. It was the FR that cooked me over there by your ankle. You know what I mean? Fr? Yep, you better get to your mind and get the thing in. By your ankle. The FR by your ankle. Oh, the four man.

SPEAKER_02

The bourbon.

SPEAKER_01

We don't condone that. So don't stop speaking that.

SPEAKER_03

How do you grow cheese? So Hemi. Five to one. Five to one.

SPEAKER_04

Who's your five to one? He wants to hear it again.

SPEAKER_01

Tesla, Toyota, Dodge, Shavin for. I score six points. Forgot about GMC, man. I mean, I ain't seen no GMTs lately. You know what I mean? It's kind of like that. Chevy's big brother.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_01

They are merged now. So it's like somewhat, but not fully.

SPEAKER_04

It's like Honda and Acura, the same but different.

SPEAKER_03

They've been merged. So GM owns Buick, Chevy. Um, I mean, there's a couple others that I'm sure.

SPEAKER_01

That's why I left it out.

SPEAKER_03

But GM I mean, General Motors is the company. There's like a lot of that going around. It's like Acura, Honda, Lexus, Toyota, all the same. It's GM is the father company of a lot of those brands. Yeah. So I mean, there's definitely some that I've forgotten.

SPEAKER_04
