Psalm twenty three. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the Lord's house forever. Psalm twenty five. Turn to me and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged. O bring me out of my distresses. Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my sins. Consider my enemies for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred. O keep my soul and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. Psalm twenty seven ten. Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Psalm one hundred thirty nine. O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways, for there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Lord, you know it altogether. You hemm me in behind and before, you laid your hand on me. This knowledge is beyond me, it's lofty, I can't attain it. Where could I go from your spirit or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed and shield, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the dawn and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand will lead me, your right hand will hold me. If I say surely the darkness will overwhelm me, the light around me will be night, even the darkness doesn't hide from you, but the night shines as the day, the darkness is like light to you. Psalm one forty two. I cry with my voice to the Lord. With my voice I ask the Lord for mercy. I pour out my complaint before Him, I tell Him my troubles. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my route. On the path in which I walk, they have hidden a snare for me. Look on my right and see, for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge is fled from me, no one cares for my soul. I cried to you, Lord, I said, You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living. Listen to my cry for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.
