Sometimes, we feel so grateful to God that we don't even know how to put our appreciation into words. The Psalms provide passages we can recite back to God when we're feeling thankful for His continual goodness and provision.

Today's short, five-minute podcast should help you express your gratitude to our loving, Almighty God.

"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105)

Psalm eighty four How lovely are your dwellings, Lord Almighty. My soul longs and even faints for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, they are always praising you. Lord God Almighty, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. Behold, God our shield, look at the face of your anointed. For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a son and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. Psalm ninety two. It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name most high, to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning and your faithfulness every night. For you, Lord, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands. How great are your works, Lord, your thoughts are very deep. You, Lord, are on high forevermore. You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree, you will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the Lord's house, they will flourish in our God's courts. They will still produce fruit in old age. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm one hundred. Shout for joy to the Lord all you lands. Serve the Lord with gladness, come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord He is God, it is He who made us, and we are His. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good, His loving kindness endures forever, His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm one hundred three. All that is within me, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and don't forget all His benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Like a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. For he knows how we are made, he remembers that we are dust. As for man his days are like grass, for the wind passes over it and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more. But the Lord's loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts. The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, his kingdom rules over all.
