Everybody be seated with a mighty God with an amazing month for everyone in the name of Jesus. Don't miss church. Many of us miss services. We are going to do some services every week, Sunday, and Wednesday. And it's very important for you to prioritize in the house of the Lord. There's so much that we miss when we just come to church on Sundays. Sunday morning a lot of things that can't be done. But on Wednesday, we fast, we pray, we start in the world, we have questions and answer sessions, it's always an amazing time. So let's make it a point of commitment to always be around because it's a man of us. So this Wednesday miracle of power night and everybody should be a glory, otherwise bring miracles, over the next four weeks. So every time we go to the kingdom church, our focus by the show of the Lord is for service to our position of the world. So we need success in the leadership and business principles for life. Because one of the things that religion has done is that religion has equipped us for heaven, but has not equipped us for dominion on earth. And that's why we have a lot of people that are in the church that are spiritual giants, but emotional, mental, relational, and financial dwarfs. Why? Because they have not been equipped holistically. Jesus did not die just to save your soul, He died to give you holistic life, abundant life. And uh the plan of God is for you to have all around victory and all round dominion. Praise the name of Jesus. So when you come for first service, that's the purpose of the first service. And if you are looking for prayer, deliverance, prophetic, yeah, you come for second service. And then as a good Christian, you come for the truth so that your life can be balanced. Praise God. Okay. So we're starting a series on developing a savings culture. Developing a savings culture. When we talk about kingdom wealth, one of the things I've realized about the church is that aspect of imbalance. And many times we talk about the supernatural, the supernatural, the supernatural. But if you sit down and think about it, you realize that that supernatural you are talking about is a function of super plus natural. And like I've always said, the super will remain super without the natural, the natural will remain natural without the super. It's a combination, a collaboration, a cooperation of the super plus the natural that produces the supernatural. So many times when we are trusting God for supernatural actions, we don't get the supernatural because we are not doing the natural. So if you believe in the supernatural, you act it out in faith. Hello? So that balance is very, very important, and that's why uh we went for a meeting somewhere not too long ago. And when I left there, I got into the castle, oh Lord, I thank you for Calvary Bible Church. And my uh the people that went with me, two of them in front just started laughing. I said, Why are you laughing? See, ah, that's what we have been saying, sir. Ah, Calvary, ah, in fact, that because we went for a program. I'm the guest minister. I got there before the church started, and that's one hour after the program is supposed to start. Even the overseer was not there. We got there. I was telling you, I said, everywhere is is there no program? A major program. See, that's what we are saying. Ah, Pastor, thank you. Thank you. That cavalry, eight is eight, ten is ten. Just start. Immediately, even if it's only one person, we start. People do appreciate what they have until they lose it most of the time, but that will not be your portion in Jesus' name. Why is our country the way it is? Religion is one of the problems. We fast, we pray. I neck does not count prayer points, but the physical elements of wisdom and action that we are supposed to do, we don't do. Even your Bible says faith without work is dead. He says, Show me your faith by your works. Hello? Why am I saying those? It's because of that testimonial that they came first service. I said, That is religion has messed us up. Hello? So we want every time you come to church is prayer, deliverance, prophetic. After deliverance, what next? After you are healed, what next? After you now finally get the miracle, what next? Hello? So many churches, little impacts. Because many people that are in church are going there for survival and personal miracle, and they are not being positioned to be a kingdom ambassador in the marketplace. But I thank God because God is raising men and women in this house and is positioning them. You may not know because many times people don't share their testimonies, but sometimes we get encouraging testimonies of how God is really answering prayers and is positioning people. And you may not know it, but when you go to many companies, many organizations all over this country, Carveyans are there at the top. They just come to church, keep quiet, they don't want to show themselves. But the God is answering prayers. Praise God. So developing a savings culture will be all about helping you to be better positioned because financial management is very key. Everybody makes money, everybody makes money. Whether it's enough or not, everybody makes money. But it's not making money that gives you wealth, it's the ability to manage the money that helps you to be able to multiply the money. That's what brings wealth. So in the next four weeks, we're going to be looking at this. Now, if you look at what's happening all over the world, we are presently in the midst of a very, very unique economic climate. And that's global, not only Nigeria. People all over the world, in the UK, in the US, in Canada, everywhere, interest rates have increased, energy costs have increased with the Ukraine war. When Russia went against Ukraine, they thought it would just be let's go and finish them in three weeks. Within one month, we'll clear these people and they are still there now. And no, I in fact, well, maybe let me not say nobody. Me, I didn't know Ukraine was that powerful. Until we started realizing that Ukraine is the one that has grain, they are the one that has this one. I said, Ah, that's a small country. Now you get all this so now the old world is having a problem of energy, having a problem of this interest rates. In the UK now, people are looking for house, they can't pay rent. People are being sent out, they are they are ejecting people from houses now because the landlord that bought house with mortgage that was paying mortgage of 2400 pounds per month, his mortgage is now 4,000. So he has to increase rent. And the person you are increasing rent on, his salary has not increased. Hello? People that got mortgage and interest rate now all over the so it's a global thing that's happening right now. So what this series will do is number one, it will help to reveal why many people have been negatively affected. Because no matter the increase in expenditure, if you have enough savings, you have enough cushion, you have enough backup to help you navigate the season. And we've shared many of these things over the years. A member of the church came to me years ago and we're discussing, ah, Pastor, thank you, sir. I said, What? Ah he said, you know, you always say it. We should save money, save money. So when I was working, I was just saving, I was saving, I was saving. See, when I lost my job, he said, sir, for almost seven months I didn't have any job. He said, It's that service that I was taking care of myself until I got another job. I said, Wow, hello, Pastor Femi Adekule was here to preach to us a few weeks ago. I went to Abuja years back and he said, Pastor, a she, a she, thank you. I said, What he said, ah, see, you know that message you preached that time that we should go and open accounts for our children and be putting money there every month. He said, I just immediately said that week we open account and we're just putting money there. 13,000, 13,000. He was just putting money there. He said, When is a vice president of a major corporation? They were paying everybody, they didn't pay the senior people, there's all of you no salary for almost a year because we have to salvage this thing. We are the other, he said, sir. He said, I just remember that this children's account that I'll be putting money, all this one we are looking for. He said, When we went there, millions was there. He said, Pastor, we love it. Someone school, we'll love it, shake it in. Ah, all this is it works so. Hello. So, why are many people negatively have negatively affected when tides change? That's what we want to do. You see why savings is very important in this series. This series will also help you know how to position yourself for future turbulence. My people, you know me. You know me. I will tell you the way it is. When COVID came, in my heart of heart, I said, How long will you at least have been saying people will learn now? I never believe that people will return to their foolishness after COVID. I'm telling you, it's a shock, it shocked me. Immediately, COVID finished, everybody is back to foolishness. Have you forgotten? So soon you think that there will be no other COVID? It may not be COVID, another thing will come. It may not be a global pandemic, you may be your personal pandemic. When you were at home for six to eight months, were you doing? Were you fixing an actual? Were you buying shoes? Were you doing that? Why have you now gone back to your foolishness? Oh, foolish cavaliers. Why? Why have we forgotten so soon? Life is a cycle, it will return again in another name, in another format. Why is this series important? It will help you to know how to ensure and insulate yourself from economic pandemic because economic pandemic is normal, it's a cycle, seven years of plenty, seven years of farming, seven years of plenty. That is the way life is programmed. Don't ever it will never be no, it's not that's not life. Life is cyclical, season of plenty, season of farming, season of plenty. That's the way life is. So that it can gather some nutrients before you now plant it so that you will not overload the soil. Now that tells you the way life is life is cyclical, only one set of people cannot be rich, whatever. So, one of the reasons for turbulence, one of the reasons for crisis is that crisis creates opportunities. It's so that a new set of billionaires can arise, while the ones that have expired can be moving to old money and then new money will emerge. So, most of the time, what you are calling crisis, there is problems, it's actually an opportunity for a new set of billionaires to emerge because crisis creates opportunities, but only those that have the resources to handle the opportunity are able to maximize it. Hello? So you can either buy iPhone 15 for 2 million, or you buy a plot of land for 2 million is a choice. Then five years later, your iPhone that you bought for 2 million will be 500,000, and the land you bought for 2 million will be 10 million, and then you say it's village people, it's not village people. So these are the following things we're going to cover. We'll start with scripture today to help the religious people. Number one will be scriptural insights on savings, number two will be facts about savings, number three is reasons why you should save. Number four is reasons why people don't save. Number five will be how to save, and then where to save. And if time permits, we'll do question and answer. So let's start with scriptural insights on savings, so that we'll see from the Bible. Genesis 41, 25 to 41, but we'll just read 34 to 36. So the text there is Genesis 41, from verse 25 to 41, but we will only read verse 34 to 36. Let Pharaoh do this. In fact, let's go to the next one because of time. Message translation. Then Pharaoh needs to appoint managers throughout the country of Egypt to organize it during the years of plenty. Their job will be to collect all the food produced in the good years ahead and stockpile the grain under Pharaoh's authority, storing it in the towns for food. This grain will be held back to be used later during the seven years of farming that are coming on Egypt. This way, the country won't be devastated by farming. So, yeah, we see you know the story. Pharaoh had a dream, seven lean cows, swallow, seven fat cow, uh lean wheat, and then nobody could interpret. Then Joseph can say, Look, that's why it's good to read the old part. But this is what he said. He said, Listen, Pharaoh, this is your dream, and this is what will happen throughout the earth. So that particular encounter is not about Egypt in location, it's about the entire world. Because the Egypt is a metaphor for the world. When you say he has gone back to Egypt, what do you say? He has gone back to the world. So Egypt is a metaphor for the world when they go down to Egypt, Egypt is down. So when you talk about Egypt, you are talking about the systems of this world. That's so in the system, this is what will happen. So there will be seasons of plenty, it will be followed by seasons of famine. So what it was saying there, if you he said, and the reason why you add the dream twice is because it's the prophetic picture of the way the world will operate. Is there your Bible? So in this life, seasons of plenty, season of famine is the way it is. That is the way it is. It has there's nothing you can do about that one. The only thing you can do is to do what needs to be done so that you will not be a victim of the cycles, but that there'll be plenty and famine. That one is normal. There's nothing you can do, but that is the way the world works. Hello? Are you getting that now? So he now says to Pharaoh, Pharaoh, the solution is look for a man that you put over this so that in the years of plenty, save 20% of everything. It's called the 20% principle. Is that your Bible? One fifth. Say, save 20% of everything in the years of plenty, store it up. Then when the years of famine now comes, you can now open the store. It is from this place that nations all over the world, nations have storage. This principle is governing nations all over the world, they store things. Many of you don't know that America have oil, they have oil, they store it. They go to buy other people's oil. They have it so all nations store things because of this principle in the Bible. You that you are not a Christian, you are not following the Bible. You are looking for a miracle. You want somebody to anoint you to prosper. Okay, I've anointed you, you have prospered. You have 10 million. If you will spend it now, you will come for another anointing to get another one. Something is wrong with us, sir. Hello? So there you see, is there is a biblical principle? Savings. You don't eat everything, everything that comes is not to just eat it now, and then you'll be living by miracle. Every day you are waiting for miracle, the next miracle. No, life is lived by principles. God does not want you to live a life by every day, miracle. No, he wants you to live by principles, then there is room for miracles. That is why you breathe in and breathe out without even it's called unconscious competence. You are come, you are unconscious, you are just doing it. If you have to live by miracle, that means even to breathe every day. Miracle, Jesus, Jesus, you have to believe God to breathe. So sometimes all this religion, oh, I'm a miracle, I'm a miracle. Forget that side, don't stop deceiving yourself. This life is not for you to live by miracle, it's to live by principles. He has made principles available for the perpetuation of his creation, but there is a room for miracle. So when the you don't trust in the principle, you know, you are a carrier of his glory, to but you live by principles. So you eat so that you take the nutrients from the food to nurture your body, you go to the toilet, you sleep, you wake up. Those are normal principles of life. So let's look at the widow. 1 Kings 17. Because of time. I will jump that, but let me tell you the story since you know it. What had happened was there was a famine. Because the prophet of God by the name of Elijah said that there will be no rain, but by my word. By my word. God didn't send him up. Say, but by my word. But what God had to back him up because he made his minister. So they say, Okay, wait, wait, wait. Now my picky, don't talk, I'll make a support. So God backed him up. But when he was talking, he didn't have an understanding of marketplace principle. He was this miracle, miracle people. Hello? So he said, No rain. He didn't know that no rain equals to no vegetation. No vegetation equals to no food. He became a victim of his prophecy. By the time he got to market, I was told, he said, Why would they say there is no rain? He said, Hey, Namekus and more. He himself became a victim because he didn't understand what he was talking about. He was just operating supernatural, supernatural. And then he had to go to God to believe God for miracle for his survival in a problem that he caused by his prophecy. So God says, Okay, no problem. There is a brook called cherry. Go there, I've provided supply for you. Ravens will come and feed you. Supernatural. So there is nothing wrong in the supernatural. There is a place for that. There is a place for that. Hello? If it's time to do supernatural, we are there. But balance is very important. Is that imbalance that is ruining us? All manner of religion everywhere. People going to church every Sunday, screaming, jumping, shouting, singing. When they get out of church, they are useless to the world. You are the salt of the heads, you are the light of the world. In what way is the world better because you are a Christian? Come to church and just be doing the spirit in church. In your school, in your office, in your neighborhood, can they testify that you are an impact maker? So, what happened? The brook now dried up. Ravens came home, then brook too dried up. You know why the brook dried up? Because Elijah was the one that caused the problem. Hello? But God had to sustain him and bless him. But his problem was causing problem for other people. And God had to tell him, No, no, no, no, no. Okay, now I have blessed you. It's time for you to go and use that your prophetic. The same prophetic that used to cause the problem. Go and use it to begin to solve problems for the people that have been living according to my will. So now the brook is right up. Go to Xalephat. I have now prepared a widow there to sustain you. Hello? If you look at the word that were used, he said, I have prepared a raven to feed you. But when he came to the widow, he said, I've prepared a widow to sustain you. Read your Bible very well. So when Elijah showed up three and a half years into farming, am I well? Three and a half years into farming. Shows up before the widow, say I want water. The widow said, No problem. Hello, Odomi. You have water when brooks have dried up. She has been saving water. Hello. She was going to bring the water when the man of God said, Add a little toast bread and sandwich. There is a liability to the church. Queuing up where there is no love in this church, there is no love in this church. It's why you are a widow, you say there's no love in church. When you were not a widow, did the church feel your impact? Hello? People will come to church and say they don't have family, they don't have family. They will come and be uh blackmailing people with scripture. The Bible says if you are a widow and you are young, go and remarry. Don't carry your liability and come to church and say, I'm a widow, I'm a widow, I'm a widow. Widow is not a license of poverty. You can be a billionaire widow. Must widow be poor and wealthy. Hello. Hello? The widow gets what at three and a half years. He said, This one, the food you are asking for. I still have. I'm not saying I don't have, but you see, the last one I hear I get so. Why? Because when the savings of the woman was about to finish, God sent the prophet to shift her into the supernatural. Say, no, no, no. This girl, this my daughter, has obeyed me. She saved, she invested, and in the midst of the famine, she was sustained by her savings. But now that her savings is about to expire and she's my daughter, I'm sending you. It was your prophetic anointing that caused the problem. I'm sending you with your prophetic anointing to go and shift her into the supernatural. The perfect will of God is to make you a blessing. In chariots, Elijah was blessed. In Zarephat, it was a blessing. Hello? So years into famine, she still had food to eat. Years after brooks and rivers have dried up, she still had water. She was a widow, but not a liability. Hello? I don't have any family. Church is my family. If church is your family, why have we not felt you as a family? If church is your family, where are you? Did we see you midweek service? Evangelism, did we see you? Hello. He says, any widow that is young, read your Bible well. Go to Timothy. Read it. Don't go and either connect again. That's worse than I didn't feel. Don't be cutting scripture out of context. Say if you are a young widow, he said you are what? Married. Go and remarry. So if you choose not to remarry, that's your business. You can't put that responsibility on us. Don't be maybe your former husband now. Church is not your former husband. The Bible says that Jesus is the husband of widow. So have your faith in Jesus. Don't look to church, look to Jesus. Why it must it be true church offering that Jesus will answer you? No, because if we are not dealing with this thing, people are so insensitive, he's sensitive, uh, insensitive, be sensitive to the spirit and hear the word of the spirit now. Hello? How can you be a widow at 32 and you are waiting for church to take care of you? 32. You better go and remarry and enjoy your life. Second chance. Then the ones that are old, let their family take care of them. Is it your Bible? Go to church. Let their family take care of them. He said, then the one that is old that has no family, then let the church provide for them. That is the other. Young, remarry. Old, let your family take care of you. Old with that family, that's what you're saying. Before you can begin to say there is no love in that church, we will now find out do you have family or not? Say, no, church is my family. Then we'll look at your track record. If we are your family, were you in our fellowship? Were you a tighter? Were you in evangelism? Were you in a department? Were you faithful in church? That's how we know whether you are our family. He said, Hey, Pastor, don't talk like that. Read your Bible now. The mother of Jesus and his brothers came to a crusade. They were waiting to see. They went to Jesus and said, Sir, sir, your family is here. He said, What do you mean by that? Whose family? He said, No, no, no, no, no. There's nothing like that. This is not by biology. He said, Those who obey my word, that's my family. So, family is not we came from Oshoba together. Family is those who obey the word of God. Hello. My wife asked me years ago, you say, Come, you always say that some people are your members, and some people are some people are your sons and daughters. How do you define who is your member or son and daughter? See, anybody that obeys the word the word of God. Everything I say when they do, you say, I say when I come to church on Wednesday, those that I see on Wednesday, then we do evangelism, we'll see them again. Department should say, I want mommy lili. These are my children because they are always obeying, they are there to help the word of God. But the people that think that somebody you are my father, more young mother. Me, I know that I'm not their father. Hello? You know, you can have a relationship with someone, you call them your friend, but you are not their own friend. You are the one that is uh the ephorial friendship. To them, you are an acquaintance. Let me give you two more scriptures. We'll close. Today is scripture, Matthew 25, verse 27. He says, So you heard to have deposited my money in the bank, and at my coming I will have received back it with interest. This is also preaching banking. Inside your Bible. Now they see that holy and foolish. Read your Bible. The Bible said there were ten virgins. Virginity is holiness. Five were wise, five were foolish. So the template of holiness was for the ten of them, but they were holy and wise. You can be holy and foolish, and then you will now hate God and hate church. Read your Bible. There is nowhere inside the Bible that you say when you pay tithe, you will prosper. It's not inside the Bible. I don't know which Bible, it's not there. Hello? The same way you are bringing 10% tithe, do another 10% savings or 20% savings. That is the balance. Because when you bring your tithe, what did he say? He said, I will open the windows of and pour you out a blessing, single and not plural. So when you bring in your tithe, we empower you with things that money cannot buy. But when he now gives you the idea and you don't apply the idea, you'll be a powerful poor man. Empowered but poor. And then you'll now be blaming pastor. This pastor, they collect harm they mature. Okay, church collected 10. You have 90. 90 and 10. Which one is more?

Answer yourself now. You now use financial illiteracy and financial irresponsibility to mess up the 90. You now turn around to blame church. That is the 10 they collected that made you poor. You have 90. Night. That is the reason why we are doing what we are doing. We are not just telling you to bring 10%, we are telling you what to do with the night. Because religion will tell you to bring 10%, but religion will not tell you what to do with the remaining 90. When you now mess up the 90, you blame church. Look at message transitions. He says the least you could have done, that means savings is elementary school. The least that pay OT, you should be saving. No, you I will show you. You know me, it's Bible. We are talking about Bible. I'm explaining the Bible to you. He said, The least, what is least? List means the lowest level. So if you are not saving, you are lower than the lowest. The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers. Where at least I will have gotten a little interest. You now carry the money. You know, it's money is talking about not talent to say gave them talent. It's not talent to sing, it's not ability to recite a poem. Talent there is money, money. Somebody say money. Proverbs 21, verse 20. Proverbs 21, 20. Are you ready? There is desirable treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man does what? Squanders it. So in your book, line it in the middle, like account. So let us look at some adjectives to see what you see me use foolishness. I even wrote a book on it. Are you a fool? Because many of us are foolish, pure foolishness, and we are blaming devil. Hello? So look at what it says there. There is a church and not dweller of the wise, but a foolish man squander. So on one side, put foolish, on the other side, put squander. So you are a squanderer. Is there? So when you squander money, you are a fool. It's in your Bible. So when I say foolish, I say it with my food chest. I can back it up with scripture. Anger lies in the most of the food, just the verse, the verse. I give you a piece of my mind. I give you a piece of that's why you have lost your mind. You have shared your pieces everywhere. Hello? Proverbs 21:20. The wise have wealth and luxury, but what? Fools spend whatever they get. So on one side put fools, the other side put spend. Are you saying that you're a foolish person now? Is it now? This is the purpose of this person to deliver you from foolishness. Because when we say kingdom wealth, now you're expecting that we'll do one anointing savvy. Bacalapo as you go, prosper, prosper. This is your year, this is your week. Foolish fools do what? Spend whatever they get. Money come, you spend, money come, you spend. Say your name is Linol. See your life. Money is for spending. See your life. Is there in your Bible? Hello? Amplify. Look at what it says. There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a self-confident and foolish man swallows it up and waste it. So on one side, put self-confident and fully, on the other swallow and waste. They swallow I'm like a bad waster. Hello. This guy got another one. This guy got another one. The wise store up choice food. You see now, store up choice food and holy oil, but fools gob tears down. Gob down. Finally, wise people live in wealth and luxury, but stupid people. So when I say you are stupid, this scripture. I know what I'm talking about. That's why I say it with boldness. But it comes with the bear. Stupid people, stupid. So ask your neighbor, are you stupid? It's not an insult, it's a question. I wrote the book on it. Are you a fool? A question of insult. It's not because it's not an insult. Question of beer. Oh no, I'm not. Hello? Are you stupid? Oh no, I'm not stupid. That's all. Don't be angry. That anger shows your foolishness. You have just manifested it by your anger. Hello. So he said, but stupid people spend their money, what how? Ow. Say you see now. In the name that is above every name, in the next four weeks, every form of foolishness and stupidity that has taken root in your life, consciously and unconsciously, by the spirit of God, by the wisdom of God, I decree your deliverance. Is it that difficult for God to change people's life? Why are these people still like this? And that's why we do what we do to bring you balance. Listen as I close. I'm not going to pray. Every money you are going to make in your lifetime cannot be given to you once. It has to be broken into your life. Years, months, weeks, and days. So every month, as you are collecting money, it is your lifetime income that you are collecting instrumentally. Money is tripartite. It has a past, it has a present, it has a future. So every time you collect money, it's trinity, you have collected. You have collected your past, present, and future monthly. Inside that money, a portion of that money belongs to your past to take care of the bills you have already incured. A portion of that money belongs to your present to take care of your ongoing obligation. A portion of that money belongs to your future in savings and investment. So every time you eat everything, you are eating your future. Are you seeing it now? You are eating your future. So all the one you are coming against heavy spirit of witchcraft, eating my destiny. But what you did not know is that it's the enemy manipulating your life to make you to be absent where your miracle is. So God said I should pray for those that want to enter into a covenant of consistency, especially with reference to midweek service. And mark my word by the spirit of the Lord.
