Maybe. Or maybe there's an untapped workforce that doesn't need that much.

On the subject of um child labor laws, I come across the concept of mandatory minimum wage commonly being referred to by as the living wage. Now, I do believe these are two different things, and if we divvy them up, I think we could find a lot more employment opportunities for teenagers. Insofar as this, when you think of a living wage, you think of a wage that you need to live on your own. The idea that you should be able to pay for median rent in your area, median gas prices, median insurance if you need to, although your company's supposed to cover that because of Obamacare. And you know, food utilities, the thought that your wage has to cover all those things, you know, that's that that's a valid thought if you're looking at employing somebody who needs to make a living on their own, uh weird to say it, but most teenagers still live at home. A surprising number of adults do too. So instead of looking at minimum wage as the minimum somebody needs in order to live on their own, if you opened up more of the market to teenage workers or even a little bit younger than that, and got rid of the idea that they need a wage that allows them to live on their own, I think that would possibly open up your labor market quite a bit. So, yeah, maybe you need to be able to make a living off of that, but maybe just maybe, if you don't need to pay your own rent, utility, insurance, and food, and extra bills, you don't need that much money. Cheers.
