Maybe. Or maybe it comes with bigger aspirations.

This should be a nice little easy one here. So of course, with the another assassination an assassination attempt on Donald Trump at the White House correspondence dinner, there was the call once again for let's get that ballroom made so that we can have the extra security on there. It's on site. We don't need to worry about hotel vetting people coming in now. Basically, and the callback was you know the response from people disfavoring it was kind of weird. And I come across just one thought in my head that I think a lot of folks don't like, and it's the question of legacy. Because yeah, it'd probably have his name on it, and it would certainly have his fingerprints on it, as you know, because he was the one then who built it. But um, as far as whether it's a good idea or not, like would he be the only president who ever benefited from it? Would he be the only president who ever gets to benefit from the added security? Would he be the only president who ever benefited from the extra prestige that comes with having the you know big events going on in a specialized White House space? Because if he is not going to be the only person who benefits from it, but instead future presidents will all have that wonderful benefit of its security, protection, and prestige, why not just do it? And I mean there there come to be some pretty nasty reasons why a person might still object, but that's on everybody else's problem. So yeah, maybe the uh ballroom project is a bit of an arrogance project, a pet project, uh you know, personal prestige project, or maybe, just maybe, it is like most every president, somebody trying to leave behind a good legacy for the people and the country. Cheers.
